After quick yet surprisingly grueling brawl, the group and the Hands were able to corner the siblings.
"The Fire Emblem! Take it, and load it with the Life Equation!" Jumpson noticed the ring on Veyle.
"Give me the Sword of the Reality!" System called.
"Oh, here!" Ghondor threw that familiar yet strange sword to the machine.
"You won't!" Veyle tried to blast System off.
But the beam was split by the running System, who sprinted to approach the corrupted Fell Child. Cue a kick to the crotch.
"AAARGH!" Veyle falls down in pain. "Brother! Sister!"
System was able to take the ring off, causing the summoned Emblems to disappear.
"No!!!" Both Alear cried and reached.
Cue the System processing the Life Equation and infuse it to the Emblem by inserting the ring. Both Alears wrirhes in pain, as the Anti-Life is purged from them and their sister.
"And we take the Emblem. For now." The System shows off the Emblem ring.
The three falls down unconscious, and the group and the Hands were able to finish the portal, closing it down.
"That portal will trouble us no more." Riane showed ofd her golden eyes, having used her Arbiter power for dispatching the portal.
Marle and Squares saw the whole brawl, and immediately rushed to the scene. Cue Riane sniping both of them.
"Are these two..." System recognized them.
"There are more who require our attention." Zar is annoyed.
Squares used corrupted Minos blocks... to block the group. Then the Zero Point Puyos popped, and... *rift two out and then back*
"Argh!" Both yelps in pain.
"Huh?" The group peeked out of the 'Minos.
"You're welcome!" Mirle, Lilith, the main poppers and their 7!selves did it.
"How did you notice them?" The group got up.
"Because we simply look around." Arle then looked at the two. "What have you become... You're not yourselves."
The SS Tetra crew and their past counterparts knocked the 'Minos off, just as Marle and Squares get up.
"Ok fine! You go solve these corrupted puzzles!" Travis pointed at the two. "You know what to go."
"Puyo brawl!"/"ぷよっ拳!"
Those Puyo poppers, the crews and the their friends led by half-Puyo brawled with Zero Point Puyos, matching the corruption-boosted Will of the Worlds; it also helped that Lilith (thanks to the Seraphim Orb and her ascension) and the Dark Prince (サタン) (a.k.a. fallen angel Lucifer) both could keep up with the Will of the Worlds as well; the Tetra crew is empowered by effects, allowing them to Zone and bleed off the two.
Ultimately, blood-splattered Minos quickly covered the area in front of the group, and the remains of Garbage Puyos splatted. Because Marle and Squares are powerful, all the guys - even Lilith, the Dark Prince and Ecolo, and their past - bleed. But after minutes, the two watchers collapsed and is beaten down by Daichi.
"Great problem solved."/"「やった!」の問題が解決しました" System imbues the Seraphim Orb with the Life Equation.
Lilith used it to purify the two watchers, purging the Anti-Life in them and freeing then from it's influence.
"Thank you!" 7!Ecolo thanked.
"Ok... now where's the other portals that are about to clone and rupture?" Geno asked.
Amitie pointed to somewhere, which correctly is one of these remaining portals. "Here is it. Yay!"/"はい、これ。いぇーい!"
"Let's go!" Zar simply rushed to that portal with Serum W.
The group and the Hands quickly remove that portal, helped by that there's no one to reinforce it.
"Two of five." Crazy Hand flew.
"It's progress. Keep going." Master Hand flew.
"Thanks the Puyos and the block for helping us with that one." Roland felt like fun. "Now onto the next."
Suddenly, General Shao, now already converted into a corrupted Realitier, jumped down.
"What the!? Shao again?!" Travis is shocked.
"He's... become a corrupted Realitier, with Anti-Life to show!" System realized.
Shao flailed around with his heavy battle-axe, forcing the group to briefly dodge. They then coordinated to strike the infected general. This allowed Riane to trap him and headshot at point blank, temporarily incapacitating him and leaves him vulnerable. Cue blasts of energies down to his body, same as against the portals minus the usage of the Portal Device.
Unfortunately, that actually agitated the portal up, causing it to wide open and starts becoming... passed, to put it bluntly.
"What the!?" System noticed. "Damnit! Everyone, stop blasting!"
The group stopped.
"Did you see that?" Master Hand pointed at the portal.
"His life force is feeding the portals' energy." Riane pointed it out. "More generally, those who's corrupted by the Anti-Life Equation feeds those portals' energy. Looks like we found out more ingredient."
"Yeah, not the first time creation energy was about to be used for destruction." Geno shrugged. "But who am I to judge? After all, my IO tried to collide the blue ball ourselves."
"Can we please thanks the mech for... foiling the collision and nearly killing Dr. Slone?" Travis asked. "Oh well, I'm going off-topic. Anyways, we kill him or purify him, we deactivate them permanently, so we can close them all safely."
Cue the group resuming their blast. Then suddenly, half of the group is blasted off. Thankfully, none died.
"What the!?" Master Hand noticed. "You... wait..."
"It's me. Nice to see you yet again." It's Singularity, still in Bayonetta's body.
"Not you again!" Viola and Hoshimatsu, enraged.
Hoshimatsu speed-headbutted through Sandevistan, while Viola rammed her head with her Portal Device. Cue a magical girl transformation, something Viola hasn't done in nearly a full fortnight.
"You grow tiresome, meddling son of Sigurd." System summons Bayonetta's guns.
"Well, Sigurd doesn't exist anymore. Not even Arch-Sigurd, if you've known his existence. The only thing remains of him in general, and my father in particular, is me." The Singularity gloated. "You remember me as both that and the god-scientist. It's personal, and I'm going to make it... fracture of yours fate."
"Let us finish him." Viola holds her katana and joined System. "For my parents' sake!"
"Balder, come!" Singularity summoned Father Balder.
"Summoning a Lumen Sage to have Umbra Witch fight next-gen Umbra and a Lumen adjacent?" System smirked. "Everyone, keep Shao down. We witches will whack with shots!"
An nigh-acrobatic bullet-versus-bullet and blade-versus-blade broke out, with System assuming Bayonetta and Viola as magical girl, against Singularity and his time-displaced puppet. It was hard in several ways, and went hard, forced to give their all as far as the action is concerned. All of which concluded with a pummel Battle between System and Singularity, boosted by Viola and Balder respectively.
"Grandpa... I promise you'll be free again..." So Viola proceeded to strike the Singularity with her blade as a last resort.
The empowered blade strifed the being of Bayo, and led to him and Balder getting hit by x-tons punches.
"It's over!" System decisively drew the last gun for Bayo, and shoot a three-powered projectiles (a la the moment three Bayos merged together) right at the head of Singularity.
"So much for the homunculus son." Viola stabs Singularity as magical girl herself. "Cheshire, come!"/"チェシャー、来い!"
Due to Cheshire being inside Mab Dachi already, the large cat demon coming off tore the body of Cereza, leading to Singularity screaming in hurting agony, and Balder's shook violently in the meantime. Cheshire then squashed the former body, trying to make sure the Singularity can't fight properly.
But Shao got up, and tried to attack the group.
"Shao, we're trying to save you from Anti-Life." Angelica reassured.
-*laughs* "I've never been better." Shao denied. "Fools. Your spells worked only because you surprised me. It won't happen again."
Cheshire turned back into Mab Dachi and threw to Viola.
"You'll see." Viola waves off her blade before running towards.
Cue the group assaulting Shao like no business, as his already dangerous being (for the most part) has been supercharged by Anti-Life. System already prepared the Life Equation, inserting it into the same kind of syringe New Era's Shang Tsung uses. Not long after...
"It's vaccine time." System approaches Shao with the syringe.
Cue the machine injecting the Life Equation into the general, quickly opening the Anti-Life. Shao drops down unconscious, and the portals, having no longer enough continued supply to sustain the state, immediately became passive, allowing the group to close them down safely.
"We did it. The army's trapped." Deadpool then emoted a dance.
"Dad!" Jeane called her father through the gizmo. "Their preparation has been analyzed, and we should be fine."
"We've risked our lives to help you." Master Hand tried to bow down, as a giant disembodied hand.
"One that would had been needed later if at all, if that Shang Tsung never returned." System reminded the schtick. "Oh, and they will fight to the last being."
"Come. We must help the others." Riane rushed into the horde.
Meanwhile, the only ones not yet infiltrating the Beach are Ms. Continuum and the kombatants: Liu Kang, Raiden and other champions welcomed the return of Geras, who just finished his slow-route tenure at the IO. Now armed with the true knowledge regarding the Zero Point and with the Hourglass still going strong...
"Welcome back, Geras." Liu Kang greeted. "Consider that as if you returned favor to me. You helped me regain the power. I helped you experience the Zero Point."
"Within the orb, I can see all kinds of existence. So after the IO lost control of the Zero, I skipped ahead to the moment of reforging, and brought dozens of Zero Fragments to further upgrade the Hourglass." Geras explained how was the tenure. "So just before I arrived, I did: sanding the Fragments, I was able to upgrade the Hourglass without anyone else noticing."
"We're ready. May the timelines and points be accessible." Ms. Continuum commanded.
Liu Kang and Geras manipulated the Hourglass, which now emit Zero Point energies. The other kombatants holds the Portal Devices, and summoned the alternative Titans.
"Liu Kang? Again? Geras too?" Titan!Katana was the first summoned.
"We're again, friends in need." Liu Kang reassured.
"What's going on?! Where am I?!" Titan!Kitana panicked.
"Continuum Exploitation Authority, CXA for short." Ms. Continuum revealed. "I, Miss Continuum, is one of their countless commanders. We're here to protect all reality and existence."
"And right now, we're outside of our multiverse. Our timelines."
"Liu Kang, why did you-" Titan!Kitana is afraid.
"We're the Keepers of Time, and we need more help." Liu Kang replied.
Then Titan!Raiden and Titan Kung Lao got summoned as well.
"We Titans bring everyone from all existence, beyond our timelines, and into helping the Continuum Exploitation Authority." Liu Kang explained. "The CXA is facing an evolution of the Anti-Life Equation, and the ones behind the latter are planning to usurp all of all realities."
"The battle of Kronika's Hourglass ripped apart time's fabric in your multiverse, unleashing all those timelines from one." Geras refreshed. "Each new timeline represents a different possible outcome of that battle. Much of the same could be said for the rest of the omniverse."
"Which means anyone could become time's keeper. Such as us Titans." Liu Kang finished Geras' statement. "The possibilities are endless, and the Hourglass is just one variable among the entire existence itself, including the Zero Point."
Cue Liu Kang and Titan!Kitana kissing each other, having already known they originated from the same time.
"Why do fate seem always to conspire against us?" Titan!Kitana lamented. "To deny us life's simple pleasures?"
"I still don't know. Perhaps in one of the many timelines, they are ours." Liu Kang responded.
"You're me... as a god." Kitana saw her Titan counterpart.
"I see me." Raiden saw his Titan counterpart as well.
"Shang Tsung is back at it again?" Titan!Lao is surprised.
"Kung Lao, that shouldn't be possible. He was erased." Titan!Raiden affirmed. "He is now a threat to all existence. Not just all timelines, but entire existence itself."
"Having learned of his end-defeat, he now is aware of any timeline of ours beyond his and Liu Kang's." Geras noted. "In addition, he assimilated Brainiac's things and got the ability to turn into anyone in any existence."
"So... kombat went nuts, because of the Zero Point and beyond. But we already knew, but I bet you didn't." Ms. Continuum proceeded to explain. "The Divine Continuum and its companions are behind existence itself. The greater omniverse, containing the Zero Point. The Hypertime, home of true temporal paradoxes and sliding timelines. The Retconnian, the realm of discontinuity and the erased. The fourth wall, the limbo, and so much more."
"We have to stop the Order. We have to stop Shang Tsung the Titan. We have to save all of everything." Kung Lao volunteered. "My Titan self, did you prepare with... White Lotus Society?"
"Thank you, my friends... and miss." Liu Kang thanked.
Suddenly, a Niles-lookalike and Clive Rosefield but corrupted barged I'm front of the Titans.
"Liu Kang. You've found allies again." Niles' lookalike called. "Titan allies, as I knew it."
"How could we have been so blind?" Clive(?) revealed. "We knew you would recruit existence itself to fight us Order."
"Clive, Niles, what's with you two!?" Ms. Continuum confronted. "And why are you barging to our mothership?!"
"Your comrades proved most resourceful. So do ours." Niles' lookalike replied. "Thus, one more reason to make Project Mobius a literal reality."
"Knowing that other realities exist to continue and destroy makes the project better." Clive(?) mocked the Titans. "Just in time for avenging my alternative timeline."
"Once we put an end to the CXA, we will be unopposed." Niles' lookalike continued. "We will take pleasure in bringing the existence down to our toes, for all eternity."
