Two thousand years into the past…

It was a calm night as Everett, Washington, was calling it another day. The city's night life was bustling with workers coming and going as something was lurking in plain sight. To one overweight man, his fate had been sealed without warning. Like every pencil pusher and junk food junkie, the portly man was fresh out of a sausage eating contest as he was basically raking in the dough on how much of those little piggies he could eat. When he left the Pork Chop Inn, he was on his way home as he was also being followed. Stopping, the overweight man heard footsteps approaching as he turned around and noticed tendril coming at him as it had a maw like a suction cup. It attached to his stomach as the tendril was sucking the fat out of him. By the time it was done, the overweight man was dead and dessicated as he fell onto the concrete. It wasn't long until some passersby noticed him on the ground as the police were called later, for this was a matter of horrendous proportions when it came to monsters lurking either in the shadows or in plain sight…

Meanwhile, back in the present…

Minara was in his quarters as he was writing in his journal. After being there to help to deliver my babies, he was remembered how it felt like being pregnant until he endured the infamous caesarian section from hell. Still, he had to check up on me as he left his quarters and rushed into the dining area where everyone was having breakfast. He didn't notice me there as I was also undergoing tests at the behest of Marthonus. When he went towards the sitting room, he noticed that the Appendices wasn't there as someone ended up pilfering it and not bringing it back where it goes. It wasn't long until he went into the infirmary wing as he saw my twins through the window of the nursery. The twins that I had were both tired and content as they were cleaned and with fresh sleepers and swaddling blankets. The sight of them kept him at ease as the memory of the caesarian section from hell traumatized him to no end.

"There's a glimmer of light in this moment after helping out with the delivery," he said to himself.

The babies that he helped to bring into the world made him face his fear on that day as he once underwent a harrowing experience while dealing with Sayoko. Still, he had his work cut out for him as he also had to check up on me after I gave birth, for I wasn't out of the woods yet…

I was on Marthonus' ship as I was being scanned in the sickbay. After giving birth, I was more exhausted than normal as I was seeing my own body recovering from what I went through. When I saw him carefully examining me, he noticed the changes in my body as he even noticed my engorged pectorals on display the moment I sat up while I noticed my robe being slightly wet. I hated the fact that I had to endure lactation, but it was needed to keep the little ones fed and lighten the load for Reiko. It was hell for me, but I had no other choice but to endure it, for childbirth was rough.

"The few, the proud, the leaky," said Marthonus as finished up scanning me. "It's kind of ironic to see a man get pregnant when it's mostly the women carry their babies to term."

"That's comforting to hear," I said as I got up off of the scanner table.

"Your health is improving, but that doesn't mean that you're healed up to full, Sam."

"That's quite a surprise…"

"For the record, you should get back to your home and rest up after you had that caesarian section."

"I'll do that…"

I was on my feet as I still felt the sting of the exhaustion that plagued me since I destroyed Project Amaterasu two years ago. It wasn't long until I noticed Marthonus steering me towards my wheelchair and wheeled me out of his ship and into the harbor. When we entered into the castle, I was wheeled into directly into the infirmary wing again the moment I was returned to my hospital room. It wasn't long until Minara noticed me as he put me back int my bed in which I was still sore from the operation that I had. He knew of my plight very well as he also endured such toil while he carried Sayoko to term last year. With Marthonus covering me up, he was ready to leave the room, but not without adding something to do for me the moment he fished out the Appendices and handed the book to me, for it was a record of the Elder Days in a nutshell.

"It never ends, does it?" I said as I laid back down.

"Don't be like that," said Marthonus as he was helping to administer an intravenous drip into my arm. "You took it like a champ when Reuben and Minara anesthetized and sedated you just to deliver your babies."

"I'm still sore, but I'll live…"

"You had worse over the years, but you lived to tell the tale," said Minara as he was inserting a fresh catheter in my member. "Your past self also went through the ringer even after trying to atone for the sins he carried over him."

"It's because he was led astray too many times…"

"I'll leave it to you two for some 'male bonding,' then," said Marthonus as he left the hospital room.

I was alone with Minara as I was busy looking into the Appendices so I wouldn't become bored out of my mind. The sight of what wasn't written in the popular Supernatural books had plenty of stories in the large black book with the Winchester Sigil embossed in gold on it piqued my interest as I flipped through the pages in which I later noticed a picture of my past self and Castiel in a fair setting the moment I noticed a banquet table that had plates full of various sausages in it. I couldn't help but smile at it as this was one of a few occurrences that my past self had with Castiel in which this had taken the cake, for this was one awkward record that was written in the Appendices.

"This is not for the faint of heart whatsoever," I said as I was looking at the book.

"At least you're not looking at the latest issue of Hot and Heavy," said Minara as he was covering me up in a fresh hospital blanket. "It's kind of ironic that you're in the same boat as me."

"Skin mags are forbidden to read in hospitals and I don't even like looking at porn. One look at it will get you tossed out on your ass real quick."

"Well, your past self got a skin mag for Christmas, didn't he? He even had some motor oil and shaving cream to add to what he got in the Elder Days."

"Oh, I feel sore, but not without pain relief…"

"It's the drip in the i.v. that has the pain med. As for what you're going through, it seems that you got use to helping to care for the precious cargo that came out swinging."

"I felt one of them latching onto me in which I found it comforting in all the pain that I had. It was strange at first, but it also felt good."

"I remembered when I felt Sayoko latching onto me when we were taken to the hospital in New Capua. For me, seeing her nursing off of me felt like I was in a state of pure bliss like one of those Terran hippies in a drug-induced trance. It's as if I couldn't get enough of the pleasure coming from it. That feeling felt very euphoric in which I was more relaxed than stressed out. Oh, how it felt really good..."

"Now, I really feel dirty…" I continued to look into the Appendices as I was also dealing with the pain all over me. "Still, it is what it is, right?"

I was occupied with looking at the book that was in front of me as I was beginning to read at one of the stories that were recorded into it. Still, it was better than being wracked with pain as the Appendices took my mind off of what was going on, for I was stuck here until I was on my feet once more…

Two thousand years into the past…, again!

Sam was busy driving in one of Totsuka's old skeleton cars as he made his way to Everett, Washington in which he picked up a strange case that happened a few days ago. Earlier, he read about how one sausage aficionado ended up dead after eating one cooked piece of piggy way too many times as he made his way here dressed up in his fake Federal suit. What he also didn't expect was that Seto was here as she was dressed in her own suit complete with a black a-line skirt and black pumps. She was here before as she was ready to brief him on the situation at hand, for they would soon go up against what was lurking in the distance.

"You're a little late," she said.

"Dean went on a solo mission, so I had to take one of the skeleton cars," said Sam as he accompanied her. "From what I found in the paper, the victim, Mitch Spanjer, was known as the world record holder of eating the most sausages."

"Yeah, he was a world record holder until found him dead and reported to the cops about this mess."

It wasn't long until Sam and Seto went towards the coroner's office as they showed their fake badges to him. They were ready to see the victim as they were more than likely to be facing off against a monster in their midst.

"You must be agents Jagger and Jett, I presume?" said the coroner.

"We're here to examine the body," said Sam.

"You should've seen what happened to that guy… Poor Mitch… All those sausages he ate did a number on him…"

"Gluttony thy name is victim," said Seto. "It's a shame that the food porn fetish has up and left the poor bastard."

It wasn't long until they followed the coroner into the morgue as they got a look at the victim in question that was on the slab. The sight of him was terrible as he was shriveled up like a prune. Seto never expected to see something like this in a while as this was beyond the pale. As for Sam, he looked at the body as he saw some suction marks on the victim's abdomen. He had a gut feeling that a pishtaco was involved as he knew of the signs on the victim, for he had to find it and take it out before it claimed more on its menu.

"Alas, poor Mitch," said the coroner. "He used to be big like Jabba the Hutt. Now, he's dead and shriveled up like one of those anorexic supermodels."

"Where was the last place that Mitch went to before he died?" asked Sam.

"The last place he went to was known as the Pork Chop Inn, which has a an array of everything made from the pig. There's also the monthly sausage eating competition that is held in which the winner gets a prize of five hundred dollars and a gift certificate from Anytime Fitness."

"It's a shame that fat boy didn't get that gym membership in time," said Seto.

And so, Sam and Seto left the coroner's office as they were walking towards the skeleton car that was in the parking lot. What they didn't expect was that Castiel was there as he was waiting patiently for them to leave the premises before finding out more about what was going on, for this was a very awkward situation indeed.

"We've got a pishtaco on our hands," said Sam.

"A fish taco?" asked Castiel out of curiosity.

"It's not what you think," said Seto. "A pishtaco comes from Peruvian lore in which it has the gall to suck out the fat of its victims and leaving them all shriveled up like our chubber in the morgue."

"He must've eaten too much to attract the monster's attention, didn't he?"

"The victim went to the Pork Chop Inn before he died," said Sam as he spotted the establishment in the distance. "Speak of the devil, it's in plain sight behind one of the fitness gyms."

And so, all three noticed the Pork Chop Inn as it was something that was there in Everett. Still, there was a monster that was causing trouble here as it had to be stopped eventually, for its ravenous appetite had gone too far in the long run…

Meanwhile, back in the present… again!

I was in my hospital bed as I was still reading into the Appendices to take my mind off of the usual boredom. What I didn't expect was that Minara was dozing off as I knew for a fact that he was tired and needed a break. I didn't blame him as he was mainly hard at work being there for moral support up to the time of me giving birth. Just as I was about to read into the Appendices further, I saw the door open as I noticed a familiar nurse coming with Giles wailing in her arms. It was Raquelle as she was dressed up as a member of the Medical Corps after what happened at the Yock Memorial Hospital on Stohess a month ago. I never expected her to be in the Order's ranks, but she had to do something the moment I put down the Appendices and was eager to care for my baby right away.

"He's been crying non-stop and he refuses to take the baby formula that is certified by the Medical Corps," I heard her say to me. "The little guy wants his breastmilk and Lady Reiko is busy tending to the other kids in the castle." She hands Giles to me as I held him close to my chest. "I heard Marthonus talking about how you've been lactating before and after giving birth. I've seen most women do it, but you weren't the only man in the Order to do so."

"I've got this," I said as I opened up my robe to expose my pectorals. "Aren't you the picky eater today?" I feel Giles latching onto me as I started to nurse him. "You really know how to have good taste in food, don't you, my little one?"

"You really know what you're doing. As for how you feel, you look as if you're stoned or something."

"He's fine, Raquelle," said Minara as he woke up from his nap. "It seems to me that our little connoisseur is getting his overdue breakfast."

"That much is true," I said as I finished feeding Giles the moment he unlatched and began to yawn after being fed. "After this, it's a diaper change and a nap." I begin to burp him as he let out a content belch. "Thank the gods that you didn't spit up…"

I noticed Raquelle gathering up Giles as she was ready to put him back into the nursery. When I saw her leave, I was alone with Minara who refused to leave in which he was slated to be part of the moral support that I endured. After all of this commotion, I picked up the book as I continued to read into the Appendices in which I still looked into the story about what happened in the Elder Days. I didn't mind it as the large black book with the Winchester Sigil was a source of comfort to keep my mind off of things, for I was still in pain and recovering from the caesarian section that I had…

Two thousand years into the past…, yet again!

Sam, Castiel, and Seto found their way to the Pork Chop Inn as they entered inside of it. The smell of all things pig filled the air as they noticed several posters on the wall that featured several ads for lunchmeat and scrapple. Castiel, on the other hand, was looking at the table filled with strange trophies that were shaped like sausages as he never saw anything like it before. There was also a plethora of posters on the wall that depicted pop culture references and all of them featured people riding on giant sausages as Sam and Seto also looked at them carefully. It was a pork paradise in the form of a dive bar as there was the usual selection of beer, wine, and hard liquor waiting for the thirstiest customer here. Still, there was something a little off as Seto saw several overweight customers coming into the Pork Chop Inn to have a decent meal, for it was mainly "finger-lickin' good."

"Here comes the dinner rush," she said.

"This isn't the Pepperjack Turducken Slammer," said Sam.

"That's one big pork chop," said Castiel as he saw it on one of the customer's plates.

"And here we have a grown-up Honey Boo-Boo pigging out on some sausages." said Seto as she notices the customer at the table with her meal. "And everyone loves the sausages."

"Here's a picture of the victim," said Sam as he saw it on the wall.

Castiel and Seto also noticed the image of the victim as he was once "too big for his britches" before being killed at the hands of a pishtaco. Still, the monster had to be found, but not without the dinner rush in the inn as they had to act before it was too late, but not yet. All he heard was the conversations of the customers who were digging into what they ate on their plates in which he picked up things during his attempt to warp from one Biggerson's to another while trying to dodge Crowley and Naomi at the time.

"Oh, I love that sausage," said a portly customer as he was digging into his plate.

"I can't believe that my boyfriend dumped me," said the overweight woman as she was taking a bite of her meal. "He only wants me to go full-on Kate Moss, but it's hard to keep it off. I should consider going to Mexico to get reduction surgery."

"This is good, but it's a shame that Mitch died," said a young man as he was sitting next to the other customers. "Even though the sausage fest is over, everyone still goes for seconds."

Seto sensed something a little off as the young man gave off an ominous aura that was about to set her off, but not in front of everyone here in the Pork Chop Inn. Still, she had to keep her cool as she also had Sam and Castiel in tow. The hunt for the pishtaco would soon commence, but not yet, for the suspicion wasn't realized just yet...

Meanwhile, back in the present…, yet again!

I was in my hospital room as I was still reading into the Appendices after feeding Giles earlier. Still, I was in pain, but I didn't let it get to me as I was happy that Kazuko and Giles were born. I cared for them while I dealt with what was ailing me as I couldn't help myself when it came to the health of my newborns. I didn't mind it as their birth put my mind at ease and maintained my focus on the recovery after I destroyed both Sawney Masbath and Project Amaterasu two years ago. It wasn't long until I was starting to get hungry. The lactation took a lot out of me as I wanted something to eat in order to replenish what was sapped from me. Just as I was about to press the button for assistance, I heard the window opening as I felt the cold wind blowing into the room to the point of chilling me to the bone. What I didn't expect was that Castiel came in here as he closed the window behind him in which he was concerned about my overall health after giving birth, for he later noticed the Appendices in my possession.

"It seems that you're occupied with reading, Sam," he said.

"I'm still in pain, but that doesn't mean that I'm not on call to be a milkman," I said.

"Your newborns took a lot out of you, didn't they?"

"I'm not the only one who feeds them, for Reiko also assists me into doing so. All I need now is some sustenance after giving birth. As for the book I'm reading, there's a log from the Elder Days in which my past self along with you and Seto went toe-to-toe with a pishtaco."

Castiel took the book out of my hands as he looked at the page that I was reading. He remembered going to the Pork Chop Inn as he also saw his picture with some sausage memorabilia in it. Still, he wanted to tell the rest of the tale, but he wanted me to find out more about the story that was put in the Appendices. By the time he gave it back to me, he was staring at me with concern as he noticed my pectorals still engorged with milk after giving birth to my babies. It wasn't long until he was touching at them as he also knew of the predicament that Minara had last year. Both of us in the Order were the only men who became pregnant as we were also high-risk targets, for there was no end to what got tossed in front of us.

"You're still lactating, Sam," said Castiel.

"I know, but my pectorals are like a male bodybuilder's," I said. "It isn't fun, but I'm fine after what I went through."

"And you let your babies nurse from you?"

"They don't just nurse off of me. Reiko also nurses them as well. We do our best to take care of them like the other children. It's the most that we can do."

It wasn't long until Minara entered into the room as he had a tray of food in his hands. The smell of sausage gravy over biscuits were a feast for the eyes as I received what was there in the tray. Taking a bite of sausage gravy, I tasted it as it was made with care, but I sensed that Reiko didn't cook it this time. I was glad that I got something to eat as it was a godsend just to replenish what my babies sapped from my pectorals, for I wanted something to eat before resuming my look over the Appendices.

"This is good," I said as I took another bite of my food.

"Drusus made it," said Minara. "He heard from Reiko about your birth, but he was barred from talking about it in public."

"That sums it up…"

"Drusus is also a prophet of the Lord," said Castiel. "He should also tread carefully so he won't attract any unwanted attention."

"He also has a knack for helping to make meals from pantry staples. Last night, he made a meatloaf that had a nice ketchup glaze, but everyone got it first before me. Mason also made a meatloaf, but it was in the style of tteokgalbi with mozzarella cheese and panko breadcrumbs. It tasted very good in which it also did a number on me by causing me to lactate even more."

"You weren't the only one who had that problem, Sam," said Minara. "I also had that problem when I ate rich foods in which I ended up lactating further while doing so to feed Sayoko at the time."

"I love this sausage gravy…"

I continued to eat my food as I was also glad that I had something to eat during my bedrest. Still, I would soon return to reading the Appendices as they were a huge comfort for me, for the lore of the Elder Days was something that was there in the long run…

Two thousand years into the past…, still yet again!

Later on in the evening, Sam, Seto, and Castiel were in the slug roe home as they were looking into the possible lore that was causing problems all over the Pork Chop Inn. All three were delving about what happened earlier as the presence of a pishtaco was something that couldn't be ignored so far in this hunt. It wasn't long until Sam went towards his laptop as he was checking up on the surveillance cameras that were all over the Pork Chop Inn. He saw the victim leaving as he was also being followed by someone or something that had a ravenous appetite. Even Castiel noticed the monster following in the distance as he noticed the victim in the video turning around to see a maw-like tendril stick to him as his entire fat was sucked dry until his premature demise. Seto also noticed the monster up close as she found it to be the young man at the Pork Chop Inn from earlier, for he was the culprit all along.

"Found you," she said.

"Is that the pishtaco in question?" asked Castiel.

"You bet your ass. The kid who frequents the Pork Chop Inn is the culprit who killed Mitch Spanjer."

"That's not all," said Sam cautiously as he scrolls to more footage at the restaurant. "This wasn't our target's first kill." The creature appears as he is seen killing another victim while sucking the fat off of him. "Our resident fat sucker's been a little gluttonous lately."

"It's a shame that round boy wasn't the only one of our fat sucker's victims and the typical 'all-you-can-eat' is in an alleyway next to the Pork Chop Inn." Seto gets out her gun as she was ready to find the monster that was there. "As I recall, you and Dean went to town to kill a fat sucker two years ago in which Sheriff Hanscombe was caught in the crosshairs of the hunt. It's highly ironic that the monster decided to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner all at once behind a dive bar full of all that pork and no filler."

And so, the trio were ready to find and trap the monster as they had to stop it from feeding on more susceptible victims. Sooner or later, there would be the midnight snack rush as it would only be a matter of time that the pishtaco would go and feed again, for it had to be hunted down before it was too late…

Later on in the early hours of the morning, midnight had hit as everyone had mostly went to bed for the night. What was unexpected was that an unsuspecting woman with such girth was on her way home after going to the movies. She was most likely to be fiddling with her smartphone as she looked at the time. By the time she went towards the alleyway behind the Pork Chop Inn, she heard footsteps approaching as she had to get away. Just as she was about to do so, she saw the tendril with the maw coming at her as she screamed until she heard gunshots. Thankfully, the woman got away in time as Sam and the others cornered the pishtaco as it was none other than the young man from the Pork Chop Inn, for his snacking had come to an aggressive halt.

"Don't even think about it," said Seto as she pointed her gun at him. "Sorry, but the late night munchies are not happening!"

"You just scared my meal off," said the young man as he opened up his mouth to reveal the tendril.

"And you're not having seconds," said Sam as he fired a shot into the young man's leg.

"I'm just a monster simply getting by ever since those Brits decided to rain on your parade!"

"Are you talking about the British Men of Letters?" asked Seto as she had her gun in her hands.

"They're like you, but a lot more merciless than the average—"

It wasn't long until Castiel finished off the monster as he was dead on the ground. The threat was averted as there would be no more overeaters prowling the streets for now. Still, there would be overweight people coming and going to use food as an antidepressant, but there will always be moderation that would keep them from going off the deep end…

Sam, Castiel, and Seto were back in the slug roe home as they were ready to hit the hay before going back to the bunker. All three couldn't wait to tell Dean about what happened as the pishtaco threat was gone for now. After all this, there was the looming threat of the British Men of Letters as well as the resurrection of Mary in which things were getting complicated all at once.

"No more sausage fests after this," said Sam as he was sitting on the couch.

"Ditto," said Castiel.

"After this, we should tread carefully around our 'guests' from across the pond," said Seto as she was sitting at a table. "They're dangerous and their tools of the trade are not for the faint of heart, either."

"I was kidnapped and tortured by one of them," said Sam.

"You mean Toni Bevell? She's such a bitch! As for the third problem, we have to contend with Lucifer again, which has complicated things further. And for the bonus round, you 'girl scouts' ended up becoming prom dresses for Old Scratch."

"We know," said Castiel. "All we have are regrets when we said yes to him…"

It wasn't long until Seto looked at her phone as she received a text message in which the British Men of Letters made off with the pishtaco's corpse earlier. She hated the "guests from across the pond" with a passion as she wanted to gut them for what they did to Sam. She also hated Arthur Ketch for meddling with the business of hunters as she was aware of what the British Men of Letters could do.

"Oh, fuck me!" she yelled as she put away her phone.

"What's going on?" asked Sam.

"Our crumpet-munching pukebags came here, but spotted the monster's corpse and took it away even after we saved the whales that flock to the Pork Chop Inn on a daily basis! They can all get burned for all I care because I hate those upper-crust pricks!"

"You bear a grudge against them, don't you?" said Castiel.

"After Chuck and Amara 'kissed and made up,' Miss Pondscum invades the bunker, kidnaps Sam, and tortures him just for her amusement."

"You can't hold it against her for long," said Sam. "I just hope that I never see her again after what I went through."

"In the future, don't put your trust in the British Men of Letters, you got that? First, they offer you help; then, they betray you to fulfill their whims. Their motives are to subjugate the American branch of the Men of Letters and get rid of any obstacle imaginable, especially hunters."

Sam was alarmed by Seto's words as he also had to be cautious not to let his guard down. As for what future events were in store, it would only be a matter of time before they would be put into motion, for more threats were looming on the horizon...

Meanwhile, back in the present… right frickin' now!

Later on in the evening, I was in the bathhouse as I was getting myself cleaned up after being in bed for too long. Even though I put my reading on hold, I ended up where I was as I was thoroughly cleaning myself at the wash basin. By the time I finished up, I went towards one of the bathtubs as I was soaking in the hot water that was comfortable to me. Still, after all this, I would be back in the infirmary wing as I also had to be on bedrest after giving birth, for it wasn't fun for me.

"Welcome to the club…," I said to myself.

I continued to soak in the hot water as I felt more relaxed than normal. Therefore, I was feeling at my pectorals as I noticed them to be engorged, which were very uncomfortable for me. By the time I got out of the bathtub, I was on my feet as I got myself dressed in my nightclothes the moment I was starting to feel my knees buckling. Even though the swelling was gone, that didn't mean that the long-term damage that happened to me after I overexerted my raw power never went away. I still had to use the wheelchair as I saw it near the doorway of the bathhouse. Sitting in it, I wheeled myself as I was on my way back to the infirmary wing. On my way there, I saw the twins in their bassinets as they were asleep in which I was eager to feed them again.

When I wheeled myself back to my hospital room, I noticed Minara here as he was waiting for me to be put back into bed. When I climbed back into it, I curled up in the fresh bedding that was there in which I later felt a fresh catheter being inserted in my member. It would only be a matter of time before I started to feel the pain coming back at me again. The soreness from the caesarian section was still there as I felt where the incision was made on my abdomen. Even though the laser scalpel sealed me up, I could still feel the embedded scar in my body as I was also barred from doing anything else, for it was grueling for me to be in bed after giving birth.

"Marthonus is coming in the morning," said Minara as he covered me up with the quilt that was on the hospital bed. "It seems that you and I are now the official 'special cases' in the Order after what happened to the both of us."

"It's about our pregnancies, isn't it?" I said.

"Yours went smoothly while mine had a rocky start. As for the operation that you had, seeing you cut open for the delivery reminded me of what I went through with Sayoko last year."

"The caesarian section from hell did leave you traumatized, but you faced your fear and helped Reuben bring Kazuko and Giles out on display."

"Seeing you cut open unnerved me, but I also had to overcome what happened to me when Liesel and her platoon ambushed my home on Claudius. My family and I now live in New Capua in which our home has a laboratory that kept the afterbirth from Sayoko after your brother gutted me. The afterbirth itself is the genetic makeup of both mine and Mizuwa's cells. While I was busy nursing our daughter, I was also working on the research that would one day be useful to have a possible cure for Tabata Syndrome. I won't let it go in vain after I heard what happened to Mizuwa when General Wetzel raped and impregnated her, only to end up suffering from a miscarriage. In a strange way, it was a godsend that I was with child after the Spillway mission, but getting my ass chewed out by Nevka put me in my home for the next few months."

"I see what you mean…"

I sat up as I saw the Appendices near the nightstand the moment I picked up and read into it. The book was a huge comfort as I was ready to read a little more until I heard the window opening up. The cold northern wind filled the room as I huddled for warmth in my bed. By the time I saw Minara closing the door, he turned around as he saw Castiel appearing out of nowhere with a plate of cooked sausages in his hands. Still, he had his hands full as he sat down at a table across my bed in which he noticed me reading more of the Appendices, for he was also part of the stories that were put into it.

"It had to be the sausages," I said.

"There was extra," said Castiel as he took a bite of his sausage.

"You decide to chow down on those like the Hamburglar going for cheeseburgers in the evening hours?" said Minara as he was administering an intravenous drip into my arm. "It's a little late for that because everyone has gone to bed at this time."

"This reminds me of what I saw at the Pork Chop Inn in the time of the Elder Days. After the British Men of Letters collected the body of the pishtaco, I decided to go there and ordered up the Midnight Special, which was a plate of smoked ham a large pork chop, and an array of sausages to clog the arteries of any mortal human. I ate it all in which it was mainly meat."

"In one of the Supernatural books, you teleported yourself to a farm, killed a pig, cooked it and made some ham sandwiches out of it after the Leviathans spiked the food supply. No wonder Sam's past self stuck to rabbit food…"

"And Dean's kept bitching about not having 'road food,'" I said.

WAHHHHHH!

It wasn't long until Raquelle rushed into the room as she had Kazuko crying in her arms. I saw her wailing in hunger even after a fresh diaper as she was handed to me right away. It wasn't long until I opened up my robe and exposed my pectorals in which I felt Kazuko latching onto me. I couldn't help but feel more relaxed as I let Kazuko nurse off of me. It was pure bliss for me as the feel of my little one latching counteracted with the pain and soreness that I had. By the time I finished feeding Kazuko, I unlatched her as I began to burp her in which I looked at her with a smile on my face.

"You're worse than Castiel with all his cheeseburgers," I said as I kissed Kazuko's head.

"You've gotten better with the latching," said Raquelle as she took Kazuko out of my arms.

"I'm used to it," I said as I felt the pain med from the drip making me feel woozy.

"Lady Reiko wasn't lying when you've been lactating after what happened to you."

"At least it's all over for now," said Minara. "Still, after seeing Sam giving birth, he still suffers from the overexertion of his raw power after destroying Project Amaterasu two years ago."

"That's nice to hear…" I feel the pain med in the drip doing its work as I felt drowsy.

"It's the meds. At least you won't be up on your feet chasing Dr. Scowly-Scowl right now."

It wasn't long until Minara and Raquelle left the hospital room as they had to put Kazuko back into the nursery. Castiel was the only one who stayed in here as he not only finished up his plate full of sausages, but he was making sure that I was okay after what I went through. Still, he could his best to heal me, but the overexertion of my raw power took a toll on my body in which it could never fully be up to snuff. By the time I fell asleep, I was safe in my hospital bed as I also had to deal with what was there, for I was put through the ringer too many times…

The next morning, Marthonus entered into my hospital room as he was noticing me waking up from a deep sleep. Sitting up, I noticed him standing at the edge of my bed as he was more than likely to be making sure that I was safe from harm. He knew of Neville's antics in the Vallon-Schacter family due to his position as the black sheep in his family as he also had his reasons to keep me safe from becoming one of his half-brother's collectibles in his "toy collection."

"Good morning, Sam," he said to me.

"I've been better," I said as I yawned.

"How are you feeling?"

"I feel like a milk cow that got put through the ringer, but I've been reading the Appendices so I wouldn't be bored all the time."

"For the record, you got this in mind." Marthonus fishes out a letter as he gives it to me. "It's posted to you, but the recipient of it is coming to next week's summit at the Order's main headquarters here on Valinor."

"It's from Shigeru…" I opened up the letter as I read his message. "He must've been quite lonely without me pairing up with him. If only I didn't go into hiding for two years…"

"Seriously, Sammy? You're not only recovering from mopping the floor with Sawney Masbath, but you recently had a bun in the oven!"

I noticed Shigeru coming out of nowhere as he was standing in front of me. He was dressed in regal royal attire as he was there to greet me. It had been two years since my absence as I was also starting to feel guilty for not doing my part into aiding the war effort. I wanted to do a lot more as I was sulking out of guilt, for this was too much for me.

"It's been two years, but you still got a long way to go," said Shigeru.

"I was goaded out of my furlough and put back into it," I said.

"Yeah, I heard the higher-ups bitching about how Seto had help from that Crossroads demon, only to back away. As for the other usual suspect, he got punished by the King of Heaven by putting a shock collar around his neck. He's crafty, but he doesn't tolerate those who harm the infirmed."

"For the record, the conference is in the Valinorian capital of Rivendell," said Marthonus. "Still, absence makes the heart grow fonder, but we can't ignore the war effort forever."

"And I should do my part when I'm able once again…," I said.

I was corralled into a conference as I was ready to observe in the upcoming conference. Still, I had a long way to go as my furlough wasn't making it easy for me, for there was the ongoing war to think about in the meantime…
