Welcome back! This is another update that is far earlier than I initially anticipated. I guess that is good for both you viewers and me. I guess this is where I should also thank the increase in viewership, reviews, follows, and favorites for this story. We are already at 50 favorites, 63 follows, and passing over 3.8K views. Thank you all for taking the time to continuously keep up with my writing. It means a lot. Especially with how fucking stressful life has been. Writing has been a good aid in dealing with that, and I am happy to have an audience read it.

I guess I made the correct decision on splitting the story. This part alone is 9.3K words of actual content. So, together the two parts would have been around 16K words, which is far too much. Seeing as it is all out now, I guess it doesn't really matter. It is the same regardless, but now it isn't as rushed as much as it could have been.

Now, I guess I should get to the guest reviewers. A decent number of you, and some responding to one another. I will answer what I can...

Guest #1: Thank you for the update. I can't wait for second part

Response: Welp, the second part is already here. It seems like you are enjoying the story, so I am glad to supply.

ReadingBeta (Guest): Update soon.

Response: Already way ahead of you. ;)

Tyler045 (Guest): Great chapter nice work

Response: I am glad you enjoyed it, and I hope this continues in quality.

Guest #2: Do you think you could have Kyle convince the police officer's to not arrest Verosika and her posse without killing them? I'd like to see that since there are not a lot of stories that do that! Also, looking forward to the other succubi meeting Kyle for the first time.

P.S: While I would support the harem idea (Loona X Original Character X Verosika), I'll completely understand if you want to make her friends with Kyle if nothing else.

Guest #2 follow-up: Whoops! I meant officers not officer's!

Response: Well, I am not going to answer the first part of you review. You are just going to have to read what I have come up with, and I will let you know that my decision remained unchanged by your request. In other words, I had already planned out what I was going to do. I will say that you might have to wait on the other succubi really meeting Kyle since I had a tone of content I wanted to get out here. There isn't a lot I have to go off of since the succubi and incubi are mostly just sexual and don't have agency beyond that. Therefore, I would need to figure out their quirks to make them unqiue characters.

Also, I get that there is decent support with Verosika being included in the pairing. To me, at the moment, she comes off as a bit of a prema donna and needs work as a character. I am obviously focused on planned pairings at the moment, and don't have room for more. Unless there is great support for it, I don't know if it will happen. I hope you understand (even though you stated you do). If you have great arguments you are willing to share in the reviews, I am more than happy to read them there. That, or you can join my discord channel, which will have the code at the end of this chapter.

Guest #3: If it all possible, in significantly later chapters, could you have Kyle and Stella as friends? Figured I could try throwing that out there.

Response: This is a bit of a lighter request, and I would have to think heavily on it. I both get and don't get the support for Stella being friends/romantic interest of the main OC. She is extremely abusive and doesn't have really any positive personality traits that makes her a good fit. Truthfully, she will be in the next chapter, and she will be very dismissive of Kyle. That being said, she could have a great character turn around and be a decently written character if done correctly. I don't know if I am the right person to do it, and I am almost certain that it would require a life-altering even to change who she is. I am open to try, but I am very hesitant to do so if Vivziepop is going to make her an antagonist of some sorts. She would need to start any development before I decide it is safe for me to progress her. Still, open to it, and I would like to hear more about your ideas.

Guest #4: I can't help but imagine Travis Touchdown's voice actor playing the role of Kyle in this story. It really seems like the perfect fit for him. But, let me know how he would sound in your eyes!

Response: Hey, whatever gets your imagination going in it. I even looked him up, and it works fine with me. It seems to be the right sound for his age as well, to some degree at least. If I were to choose a voice actor, I don't really have an answer to that. If it helps, I imagine his voice sort of like Damian Lewis as Dick Winters in Band of Brothers. It is just a solid, well-spoken voice I can get behind. It conveys a calmness that I believe my OC to have. If you are looking from something darker and deeper, I guess Ron Perlman's work in Adventure Time as the Lich. That doesn't seem to fit as well in my opinion since it sounds older. Still, it might be something that works for others. Thanks for the thought-provoking review.

Guest #5: I think the guest who reviewed on January 16th might have turned to these two videos to give his opinion with the issues with Helluva Boss.

1. watch?vsWCRI5Vi91Q

2. watch?veCVW7pLyx60

I've actually taken to watching these videos and they do bring up quite a few valid points, so check them out if you ever have the time for viewing!

Response: So, I tried checking these out, but it only brings me to youtube's main page. If you could, it would be better if you provided the video name and who it is by, I would appreciate it. Thanks for taking the time to post it, though.

That is all I have to give here. Thank you to all those who reviewed, and I hope I gave you what you were looking for or at least something to think on.

I guess I should get on to the actual chapter. Please. enjoy!

Chapter 6: Spring Broken Pt. 2 (A New Deal)

The Sun, the beaches, and the partiers of Spring Break. Our little group had managed to teleport undiscovered beneath a pier away from the prying eyes of the college-aged beachgoers where we set up ourselves for the bet. I carried a large bag filled with various guns, ammo, and even a good assortment of melee weaponry. I dropped the bag down on the ground, and we all peeked from around the rocks that hid us from them all.

Blitzo began to instruct our group, "Alright, remember the plan. We can't be caught, so Loona needs to lead the targets to locations where we can off them. We also need to trust Kyle to disrupt that pop bitch in any way he can. Seeing as he isn't affected by her seduction, he is hopefully immune to anything else she would throw out. Sound good?"

I perked up, "Wait, what else could she do? Are you telling me that she could do something to hypnotize, or mind control me?!"

Blitzo brushed me off, "I wouldn't worry about it, but her singing is probably the biggest aphrodisiac that she has."

I looked down the beach to see a stage already being set up. Given it was Spring Break, and anyone could be playing here, I thought that things weren't looking good from this perspective. I knew that she was going to end up on that stage, and I would be dealing with a giant group of horny people for her posse to take advantage of. It seemed like Blitzo was too involved with his plan to realize this.

I just mumbled, "Oh… You don't say."

The Imp boss turned to the Hellhound, "No time like the present. Do you have the list, Loony?"

Loona pulled out the large piece of paper before taking a sniff of it whilst closing her eyes. After a second, she spoke confidently, "Got it."

The Hellhound got into a clear space before her whirlwind of blue and purple flames encased her while she changed forms. It dissipated to show her human form as I had seen before. She began to brush her hair with a disinterested look. She looked over at the Imps before asking them, "Alright, is this fine?"

Blitzo took in a deep breath of wonder, "Woah, I didn't know that Hellhounds could do that!" He seemed to look at the other two and me with a look of pride, "Just look at my girl. She is willing to transform into a hideous human just to help me win this bet. If I didn't know love, I would say that this is it."

Loona growled at him while Moxxie seemed unimpressed. The small Imp said, "I would say that you have no concept of what love is, and you didn't leave much room for choice in this matter."

I continued to look at Loona's human form before saying, "Hideous human? I wouldn't say that. I would say that she should have no problem picking up any person on this beach."

Loona seemed to hide her blush from our view with her hair while she absorbed the compliment. She spoke out awkwardly, "Uhh, thanks…" She then cleared her throat before speaking seriously, "Alright, enough talking about my looks. We have a bet to win."

Blitzo perked up, "That's right! What targets do you see, Loony?"

The goth peered out before saying, "Probably five or six from this view alone."

Blitzo then said, "Remember, we will be watching over you, okay? Whenever you separate the human from the group, we will tag and bag them. You just need to move on to the next person. Sound good?" Loona nodded and Blitzo pointed out, "Now, fetch!"

Loona walked out from underneath the pier to her first target. Blitzo turned to me, "Keep an eye out for the skank and her little minions. Fuck with them... but don't 'fuck' with them. Got it?"

I pinched the bridge of my nose and exhaled, "You didn't need to include that detail. I am fully aware of my duties, just…" I couldn't believe I was condoning the killing of people, presumably innocent to some degree. With irritation, I continued, "Just fulfill your end!"

None of them responded as they sneaked from the shadows to watch over Loona. It seemed like my compliment had some effect on the Hellhound-turned-human as she already had a rather muscular man following behind her to somewhere enclosed. She was going to work rather fast through the list she managed to sniff out. Speaking of such, that seemed like a cool fucking ability in my book.

I stepped into the sunlight while watching the crowds. There wasn't any sign of Verosika anywhere. I knew I was probably looking for a human form, but nothing stuck out as overtly sexual or flirty among the already drunk and horny crowd. I guess this was an opportunity to bask in the sunlight and enjoy my moment amongst humanity once again. It was odd, and I almost felt normal again. However, a glance back at the glowing mark on my forearm reminded me that it wasn't.

When I found the beach empty of the succubus and her crew, I thought that it would be a fine opportunity to check out some of the shops around here. I did manage to bring my wallet with me, and I even had a decent amount of cash to work with. I could probably find something new to get for my place. It was rather barren, and it needed a few aesthetic pleasers here and there. Hell didn't have what I was looking for. Everything there seemed to be off-putting, or too dark for what I wanted.

I shook my head as I left the beach. I was getting too preoccupied with furnishings and what I could buy here that I was forgetting that I was on the lookout. Still, no hint of anything odd on the beach. I might as well check out the shops above.

I found my way to the streets while weaving through the crowds. It was definitely Spring Break with how many younger adults walked in beach clothing carrying cases of alcohol and an assortment of drugs. There was even a heavy smell of marijuana in some locations I walked by. My mind seemed to filter this stuff out since these types of things were beyond common in Hell.

Occasionally, I would catch Loona walking with another person behind her. She would usually be on her phone disinterestedly while the person she guided to their imminent death usually chatted away at her without a worry in the world. Sometimes, Loona's red eyes would catch mine. We would still walk by each other without any sort of interaction to give away that we knew each other. The only indication she would give me would be how her face relaxed as she was pleased to see me. I would return the look until I became more stressed with the realization of how many people were being sent to their deaths. Each time I saw her was just another body to be collected.

I stopped outside a random store to see a ton of people exiting it with bags full of cheap booze. They were undoubtedly getting ready to party on the beach and get fucked up as much as possible. When I saw the store, another thought came to mind. I made a promise the first time I met Loona. Now, I had the chance to keep to my word. Without thinking about keeping an eye out, or doing what I was supposed to do, I entered the store. This wouldn't take me more than ten minutes.

Ten Minutes Later…

My gamble to go on my little detour seemed to pay off since I walked back toward the pier with a bag filled with bottles. There was still no Verosika to be seen. When I made it under the wooden surface and by the rocks when the Imps and Loona worked together to hide the bodies. I placed the bag in an obscure location behind the rock for safekeeping when I approached them.

Blitzo noticed me before he beamed, "We are already nine kills in, and that bitch hasn't even shown her ugly face yet!" He then asked in a more hushed manner, "She hasn't shown up, has she?"

I shook my head, "I haven't seen anyone that stood out as I would expect. She must be pretty confident that she would beat you. That, or she must be at a different beach." I folded my arms with a cocked brow.

Blitzo waved me off, "No, she knows that our little bet takes place here. I think that whore just realized that she won't beat-"

A loud, familiar, feminine voice spoke through the speaker from where the stage was being set up earlier, "Hello, Spring Breakers! How are you all doing out there?" Both of our heads turned to look at the stage to see the succubus emerge from some mist. The pink lights from the stage illuminated the now human form of Verosika as she stood on the stage. Blonde hair, tanned skin, a heart mark below her right eye, and colorful clothing. She looked like another human to me. Her eyes were the only thing that remained the same, which was the same as for Loona.

She yelled out, "I have a little number that will get you all in the mood! Are you ready?!" A cheer from the crowd replied to her question. A beat with some music began to play. She smiled before winking at them and saluted.

This is your final boarding call. All aboard.

A message on the large screen on either side of the stage read 'FUCK YOU BLITZO'. This caused the taller Imp to froth from the mouth before he spoke, "I am going to kill that harlot!"

I looked at him with a questioning expression before looking back at the succubus in human form. I squinted my eyes as I noticed a pink aura seemingly surrounding the girl. I then asked him, "Why is she glowing like that?"

Blitzo growled out, "That bitch is using her mating call! All those fuckers in the crowd are going to be ripe for the pickings for the rest of her crew! DAMN IT!" He then noticed that I wasn't under the same influence, "Well, I guess it is good that you aren't another mindless, horned-up human. I am surprised you even noticed her influence, let alone resist it."

I pointed to the mark on my wrist while looking at him with a 'really' expression. He seemed to remember before sheepishly replying, "Oh, yeah… That's right." He then changed subjects, "It doesn't matter. Our plan is now completely fucked since we won't be able to lure the targets away from the crowd. That means we have to be a little more careless."

Millie and Moxxie approached from behind as they listened in. Blitzo began to dictate, "We need to target those off the beach or snag some while they bone each other away from the crowds."

My eyes went wide as I said, "W-Wait! You're just going to go around killing indiscriminately?! Won't that blow your cover for being, I don't know, a fucking demon from Hell?"

Blitzo nonchalantly replied, "Don't worry about that. All these people are out of their minds on dopamine and endorphins to know what else is happening. That, or they are completely shitfaced from the amount of alcohol they are downing. In other words, we are in the clear." He then prodded my chest, "You need to be useful for once and stop that bitch and her posse from fucking all those people. I hope you brought your snorkeling gear because you are going be swimming in a sea of tits, dicks, pussy, and lots of cum."

I rubbed my face. What I was about to do, and what I was condoning from the others was going to haunt me for the next many countless nights. I sighed in irritation before saying, "Alright, fine! I guess I will stop them from fucking the people." I mumbled to myself, "Never would have thought I would be in this situation."

Before I went anywhere, I grabbed a couple of small axes and a sawed-off shotgun from the bag we brought to the beach. The axes were placed on my back while the shotgun was put on my waist. Blitzo commented, "I like your thinking. Taking out Verosika's bitch squad so that they can't catch the easy pickings."

I looked back at him incredulously, "What? No, I am not going to kill them." Blitzo deflated at this, and I explained, "I am going to use these to take out her speakers, maybe more. Just make sure you fulfill your end."

I could hear Blitzo mumbling under his breath, "Killing them would be so much easier, but okay…" I began to walk away while Blitzo then looked around with a more commanding voice, "I guess you will need to pick up a weapon if we stand a chance in this bet, Loony."

The Hellhound-turned-human had her attention elsewhere. Specifically, she managed to find the human form of Vortex who stood with a vigilant gaze. She didn't even bother to listen to Blitzo as he dictated his plan to her. Before she knew it, she was following right behind me into the crowd where she could join up with Vortex.

Blitzo then turned back to Loona to see that she was missing. He looked around in a panic before screaming, "Wh-Where did she go?! Where is my baby?!"

Moxxie then tapped on Blitzo's shoulder and pointed toward the goth walking toward Vortex. His worry was replaced with fury as he began to follow. In his mind, the bet was forgotten. He was not focused on stopping his adopted daughter from doing whatever she was going to with Verosika's vile bodyguard.

Within the crowd, I weaved through the bodies that were tightly pressed together as the people rubbed together and peeled the clothing from one another. A bikini top managed to find its way onto my head obscuring one of my eyes. My looks conveyed what I was feeling inside. My furrowed brow and 'dead inside' posture was impossible to hide. I continued to march on, regardless.

Verosika yelled from the stage, "Now, who wants a piece of this?!" Immediately following that was her flask being tipped off the fingers of multiple people from the crowd before it ended up in the ocean. I shook my head as I disregarded that. I couldn't have possibly imagined what kind of trouble it was about to bring.

I spoke to myself, "Alright. I need to find the connections to the speakers. I guess I will be able to stop the music, and then hopefully that will stop her effects."

A couple toppled over one another as they furiously sucked on each other's faces. I stepped over them without worrying about what they were doing. I viewed it as being inconsequential seeing as it wasn't one of the succubi or incubi abusing them.

I was getting closer to the stage, but I was then interrupted by a hand finding its way onto my shoulder. I looked over to see the human form of one of the incubi grabbing onto me with him biting his lower lip. It was the one with black hair since that remained relatively unchanged. The same aura that surrounded Verosika was also emanating from him albite being a little weaker. I rolled my eyes before brushing the hand off my shoulder. I spoke dismissively, "Sorry, bro. I don't roll that way."

Instead of letting me go, he grabbed onto one again. Out of instinct, I whipped around, grabbed his hand, and bent it at an awkward angle. I then kicked him in the chest before punching him right in the cheek. The guy went down in a limp pile. He was completely K.O.-ed from my instinctive strikes. No one in the crowd even batted an eye at the sudden display of violence.

I smirked a little, "Welp, that is one less one to worry about."

Still, I had a task to accomplish. I made it to the stage, and I was about to make my way under it when a firmer grasp wrapped around my wrist. I spun around to get a good look at the stern-looking gaze of a single red eye. Despite his human form, I could tell that I was looking at Vortex.

With a displeased inflection in his voice, Vortex said, "You must have a death wish, pal."

I responded, "Nope. I just have no desire to be stuck with your boss for a full week."

His gaze narrowed before realization hit him. He looked at me incredulously, "Kyle?" I nodded before he pulled me back and put his body in the way of the stage. Even in his human form, he was much taller than me. Yep, he was a very large black man.

Despite his rather muscular and intimidating form, his voice was still rather friendly toward me, "I didn't even recognize you. Your human disguise is more realistic than anything I have ever seen. Even your eyes change color."

I looked at my hands in surprise before it clicked. Right… I was in my 'disguise' right now. I awkwardly chuckled, "Yeah… Right! I guess it is pretty good."

He smirked, "I don't know what tricks you used to learn that. I guess it comes in handy for luring the others to you so you can deal with them."

It took a second for me to realize that 'the others' were Verosika's group. I then peered over my shoulder to see that the incubus that I knocked out earlier was still laying face-down in the sand. I turned back to Vortex before shrugging, "Yeah, I guess it is helpful. Still, I don't wish to resort to such means for all of them."

"Yeah, I get it." Vortex stood a little more upright. He said, "I still can't let you near the stage. I don't care about the bet, but I also don't want an earful for not doing my job."

I joked, "What? You can't just turn a cheek while I disrupt this little concert? I am kinda fighting for something here."

Vortex shrugged while looking apologetic. He said, "Sorry, man. I like you. You talk to me like I am not just another lowly Hellhound from the streets. You even treat that Hellhound girl well, and I respect that a lot. You talk to me like I am equal to you." He then folded his arms, "I still have a job to do, and this one is the best that my kind can do."

My face tightened a little. I replied, "I guess I understand that."

Before I could act in one way or another, I felt the presence of someone new to the little group. I looked over to see the nervous Loona 'inconspicuously' slide to us. She then smirked and spoke to a level of enthusiasm that was unbecoming of herself, "Hey! I didn't see you guys here." She showed too many teeth in a smile to Vortex, "How's it going, Vortex?"

Vortex, whether it was out of politeness or naivety, didn't address it. He just chuckled, "Just doing my job here." He then said, "Also, enough of the 'Vortex'. My friends call me Tex, so it is cool if you two do as well."

Loona's blush extended across her face when she said, "That's so cool. I don't have any friends that call me by a cool name. Hahahaha." Loona was even more awkward as she clutched onto herself while laughing. She then stuttered out, "I-I don't even have any friends."

I wasn't able to even respond to her before I was grabbed by either arm and then shot into the crowd. I only turned back to see that two of Verosika's minions took advantage of my inattentiveness. I was mentally smacking myself for getting distracted by something like small talk as I should have known better. My ass was on the line, and that might be quite literally. It was a rookie mistake.

While I was grabbed by a few of the hypnotized audience, I tried to make out where I was going exactly. I was tossed from one person to another until I was flung up into the air onto a surface flat, hard surface. It didn't take me much brainpower to figure out what was going on. I was on the stage where Verosika had been performing. My eyes connected with hers as she slowly sauntered over from the other end of the stage.

There was no way I was going to sabotage the succubus if I was completely under her thumb up here. I had to trust in the rest of the group to do their job. I knew Loona was rather 'preoccupied' trying to get some, so she was out of the equation. My hope was that the others were at least keeping on top of their killings. Fuck me, I never wanted to think like that.

I peered out to the crowd to see how much of the plan had gone FUBAR. To my despair, I spotted Blitzo interjected himself into the middle of Loona's and Tex's conversation. I could barely hear Blitzo's angry accusations, "First you start conversing. Next thing I know, my little girl is taking care of a litter of pups. I might want that someday, but I am too fucking old to be a grandfather."

I could practically see Loona's fuming beyond her embarrassment. She was grinding her teeth and her eyes showed how furious she was. If her look could kill, the Imp would have been vaporized. I knew that she was going to explode at Blitzo at any second. It wasn't my problem. However, I was sort of left with relying on the other two.

With a look that could compete with Loona's, I turned and looked out toward the other end of the crowd. Standing in the same place as before, Moxxie was rubbing his face with irritation at Blitzo's antics while Millie looked on with confusion. Moxxie's gaze then met mine where we had a nonverbal conversation.

I motioned out while conveying my message: 'What now?!'

Moxxie responded in motions conveying some depression: 'I don't know. It is just the two of us.'

Catching up on the conversation, Millie seemed to say something to Moxxie. She pulled him into a side hug conveying positivity to him. A small smile formed on the Imp male's lips before he nodded at her with a pistol ready. Millie then gave me a thumbs up with a look that spoke 'we are going to get shit done'.

The two Imps then moved along the bottom of the pier before my vision of the two was blocked by some rather shapely, slender legs. They stopped right in my line of sight causing me to look up to see Verosika leaning over and smirking at me. It felt like her gaze was almost trying to unclothe me on the spot. Seems like her little song was done, and it did what is needed.

She spoke sultrily, "Well, well, well. What do we have here? It couldn't possibly be that stud working for my limp-dick ex-boyfriend, could it? You aren't here to sabotage me, are you?" Verosika leaned in even more his look softening even more, "My, my. You look even more appetizing in your human disguise than you do in your real form. It looks almost too real." My face dropped a little at this, not that I didn't notice the 'compliment'. She continued, "Lighten up. Soon, you will be with me, and we will have more fun than you can know."

I finally managed to find some words to say, "Not if the rest of us have anything to say about it."

Verosika looked out from the stage before smirking. She responded, "I am not too worried about them. It looks like Blitzo is being as useless as ever, and his little Hellhound is too preoccupied with mine to help. Seems like he could have done a better job in finding a different one or training her better."

I growled while standing up to my feet. I glared at her with fury before spitting out, "You care to repeat that last part."

Verosika only seemed to go deeper into her seductive look and tone, "Well, you look even hotter when angry like that. It tells me that you can really take charge, which I don't mind being the submissive one from time to time." This almost seemed like a taunt causing me to take a threatening step forward. She stopped me by raising her hand, "I didn't mean to offend you. I didn't know think you would take that personally. You must care about her, huh?"

I nodded, "Yes, she is a good friend."

She shrugged dismissively, "Well, she is quite the looker, especially for her kind. It's no place for a succubus to judge someone on their perversions, from demons to humans."

My eyes widened, "What?! It's not like that! She is just my friend!"

Verosika just looked back at me with a look that seemed to question my words. She then continued, "It doesn't matter. Those other two small ones you have won't be able to top this." She seductively walked over to me before tracing her hands along my shoulders. She then placed them on my chest and cupped a small feel. She leaned toward my ear before saying, "It will feel sooooo good when I win and take you away from that little bastard. Oh, wait. I've already won."

My shoulders deflated a little bit. Was everything from this point on for nothing? I am not sure that I can conscientiously come to terms with allowing the killings of multiple people here if the only outcome was that I was going to end up under Verosika in the end, that being both physically and figuratively.

My hands twitched in hesitation to grab either of my weapons. I wasn't one to go down without a fight no matter the circumstances. I could still stop Verosika from continuing this performance and buying enough time for Moxxie and Millie to do what they needed. I was counting on them, and they were counting on me.

Verosika's voice broke through my thinking, "Now, sit there like a good boy, and let me continue my show. I might even reward you for good behavior after this little bet is done."

A tone began to play through the speakers causing me to go rigid. The succubus had already turned her back to me, so I was left with a choice. Well, it wasn't much of a choice for me as I grabbed the axes from my back.

I was ready to go to work when something large launched out of the water. It had dark scales, sword-like teeth, and piercing blue eyes. It was definitely some sort of fish based on the body style fit with fins, gills, and a tail. However, it continued to move up on land with its large legs. I drew my axes for a different reason from before. Now, I could only ask myself one question: What the fuck was that thing?

(3rd Person) A little earlier…

"First you start conversing. Next thing I know, my little girl is taking care of a litter of pups. I might want that someday, but I am too fucking old to be a grandfather." Blitzo prodded at Vortex's stomach with anger plastered on his face.

To the side was a more furious Loona glaring daggers at her adoptive father. She held her tongue while Tex responded casually, "Chill, man. It is just a conversation. Nothing more."

Blitzo seemed completely unconvinced. It could be heard in his voice through his thick sarcasm, "Uh-huh. I am sure that is all it will be. I am also sure that it won't lead to any hurt feelings or anything like that."

Loona finally spat out her words, "What the actual fuck, Blitz! What are you doing?!"

The Imp scanned the form of Tex with a narrow gaze. He said, "I was just wondering what was so important for you to leave the rest of us when I was giving out the plan. I guess you are more concerned about hooking up and getting some action than you are about doing your job and helping me out."

Loona's face was completely covered with a red blush as she was embarrassed to have that said out loud, and right in front of the guy she was trying to hook up with. Tex seemed to be patiently listening while he watched the crowd. He wasn't going to get involved more than he already was.

Loona finally collected herself enough to respond, "It isn't like that! Ugh, you are showing yourself and making a scene just because you are afraid that I will make a new friend!"

Blitzo pointed back, "Aren't you forgetting about your other friend who is about to become sexual supper for my ex? You know he is your friend, too, and he is counting on you to do your fucking job!"

"Oh, don't give me that shit, Blitz! You are the last fucking person who can even say anything like that, or did you forget that you were the one who used him in a bet for a fucking parking spot!" She brushed her hair out of her face as it moved around. She commented, "Plus, Kyle isn't a friend. He is just some guy I hang out with. If he was a friend, you wouldn't stop bothering him. You can't allow me to even have friends unless it benefits you!" A look of guilt became present on her features.

Blitzo asked, "You really think that is true? Do you want to tell him that?" Loona's look of guilt seemed to deepen at this. He continued, "Call me a piece of shit, but I made the bet in the heat of the moment! I will not lose that parking spot! Maybe I bet him because that would separate you from him."

Loona crossed her arms in a huff while she simmered, "Why can't you just leave me alone for five fucking minutes!"

Blitzo shouted, "Because I adopted you! Whether you want to call me 'dad' or not doesn't matter, but I am still the one that pulled you out of that wretched adoption agency."

Loona screamed back, "I was seventeen! I was going to be out of that place soon enough! I didn't need you then, asshole! I don't need you now! So, leave me the fuck alone! You aren't my dad!"

Blitzo's eyes went wide before he crossed his arms and looked away. The commotion around them seemed to be drowned out by the trio until Blitzo noticed the large fish walking up from the ocean. His eyes widened at it, and the other two noticed it as well. None of them moved from their position, and it allowed the fight to truly sink in.

Loona's gaze seemed to sink while she completely forgot about impressing Vortex. Instead, she wanted to take back her words. She spoke softer, "Blitz, I didn't-"

The distraught gaze from the Imp shut her up, "Enjoy your break, Loony. As you can see, I have bigger fish to fry."

Blitzo's lame attempt to shield his emotions was met with nothing but regret. He walked away from Tex and Loona, the latter looking down in pain. This was met with concern from the large male, "Damn, girl. I didn't see all of that coming. Are you alright?"

Loona completely forgot about the guy to her side as her face lit up in a blush. The regret she was feeling seemed to mend itself a little in the presence of Tex. She stuttered out, "Y-Yeah. I will be fine."

Tex then asked, "Do you want to go after him? You seem like you wanted to apologize there."

Loona brushed off his concern with a smile, "No, it's fine. I can do that later. I would prefer it if we just pick up our conversation where we left it off."

Vortex shrugged, "Suit yourself. It takes guts to say stuff like that."

Loona smiled at him whilst brushing a bit of hair out of her face, "Thanks…" She looked away a little unsure about what she said to Blitzo earlier. About it all, about her adoption to Kyle. Anger seemed to have gotten away from her, and she wasn't sure where she stood now.

(Kyle POV) Meanwhile…

I couldn't stand in awe of the mutant forever. I, however, had a hunch about what had happened to create it. It most definitely had to do with Succubus to my side by the looks of her. She was practically shaking in her heels with a look of fear. I had seen it a few times in the past when in basic training for the military. The fear of discipline from a higher authority.

I gritted my teeth as I asked her, "What did you do?"

The screams of the public cleared out the beach swiftly making it more vertiginous for Verosika. Her cool and sexy demeanor was completely gone with one of nervousness. She said, "H-How should I fucking know?! It probably has something to do with that little shit and the rest of you!"

I approached her knowing that Vortex was completely preoccupied somewhere in the crowd. The succubus-turned-human seemed to shrink a little as I loomed over her. I never broke eye contact with her pink gaze. I glared and spoke sharply, "Don't bullshit me! You did this, didn't you?!"

She said, "I-It might h-have been my Beelzejuice Bottle. It is known to have this sort of effect in the human world."

I broke away before letting out an aggravated sigh. I seethed to myself, "All this stupid shit for a fucking parking spot. Careless fuckers." I turned to her whilst pulling out the axes from my back. I pointed one toward her, "My group and I will deal with this fucking mess. You just sit back and watch. Also, this fucking bet is over. I am not coming to work for you, and you are giving Blitz that fucking parking spot."

A little bit of the nervousness disappeared from Verosika's features. She glared back, "Who do you think you are to tell me what to do?! Your little Imp friends are running around without disguises! If you think I am going to give up that spot, or you, then you are-"

I slammed the axe down and yelled, "THIS IS NOT A DISCUSSION OR REQUEST! I AM MAKING A DEMAND!" I collected myself a little bit while the pop star took a few steps back in shock. I collected myself enough to not shout, but I was far from happy, "I couldn't give two shits about my group and what they have done. You fucked up here, and I imagine this fuck-up will cost you dearly back in Hell."

Verosika didn't respond beyond folding her arms in a pout and looking away. This confirmed my theory, and I continued to say, "Then the spot goes back to your ex, and I solve all the shit for you here. Deal?"

Verosika spat out, "Fine."

I peeled the axe that I threw down off the stage. I nodded, "Good. Consider your problems here solved."

I didn't even await her response as I jumped off the stage to join whatever of my group was available. It was time for me to work for a living. I didn't even turn around to see the shiver travel up Verosika's spine creating goosebumps. She hadn't ever been demanded like that, and it felt… exhilarating. She couldn't help but stare out at my form while I got to work.

I marched over to Millie and Moxxie, yet the second one of them seemed to be off somehow. Moxxie was wobbling around and even fell on his face before he was plucked up off the ground by the tendril-like tongue of the beast. This caused me to run off toward Millie.

I stopped beside her and asked, "What the fuck is wrong with him?"

Millie shouted back, "He must have gotten a little drunk while we were dealing with the targets!"

I shook my head, "What the fuck was everyone doing here?" I then looked at her before coming up with a simple plan. I then said, "Fine, you get your husband out of the fish's mouth and to safety. I will distract the big beast while you do that. Sound good?"

With a look of determination, Millie nodded at me with a knife in her grasp. I kind of envied the guts of the female Imp going in with nothing but grit and a knife. Instead, I was going in there with a couple of axes and a shotty. Whatever makes us comfortable, I guess…

We both began to run toward the beast from either side. I made a lot of motions and even whistled a few times to get its attention. When its eyes followed my form, I knew that Millie should have an opening to climb up. However, I was left with the task of dodging its tail as it slammed it down at me.

Once Millie began to climb up the beast, it stopped trying to attack me and it began to wildly shake to get the Imp off it. I took this as my chance to get up on the beast as well. I walked into the water a little before I slammed the blade into its scaly skin as I began to climb up the tail before making it up towards the torso.

Millie was already at its mouth. With the dagger in her mouth, she used immense strength to open its maw to get a look inside. While she attempted to grab out at Moxxie, who was being rather unhelpful, she lost her grip on the teeth and fell into the mouth. The teeth closed around them both closing off my vision of the two.

I peeled one of the axes away from the flesh with some effort. A stream of blood found its way onto my face and body as I was covered in the iron smell. Clearing my eyes with my arm, I finally got a good view of my next target. With a mighty swig, I embedded the entire axe within the soft, gooey bit of blue that was the fish's eye.

The reaction was immediate as it let out a mighty roar in pain. As if it were a timed strike, I saw that a rather large chunk of the fish's tongue with the two Imps had flown free from its mouth and landed on the beach. It came to a halt with the two still covered in slimy saliva. That didn't stop Millie from nuzzling the inebriated Moxxie in affection. She then got back up and came back into the fight while Blitzo walked over and looked over at Mox.

I tugged on the axe that was in the eyeball and was impressed when the entire ball came free from its socket. This gave me a rather convenient place to shoot. I readied the shotgun while I continued to cling onto the beast that did a lot of thrashing to get me off. I then aimed carefully, which was easier said than done. My finger rested over the trigger for a moment before I squeezed it without a second guess.

Blood sprayed me in the face after the loud bang, and the beast's movements halted before it slumped over on its side. I rested the shotgun back in its sheath. I jumped off the beast while Millie walked over with her blade at the ready. As if to make sure, she cut the fish's throat coating herself and the sand below her in a deep crimson. Out of the wound came the same flask that Verosika had earlier. I picked it up.

I turned and looked over to Millie. She looked back at me with the widest smile I had seen from her all day. I held out my hand with an equally wide smile causing her to jump up and give me a high five. I let out a few deep breaths before saying, "Nice work there, Millie. We took down that son-of-a-bitch pretty easily."

She gleamed back, "Thanks!"

Blitzo seemed to slowly clap while Moxxie giggled from the sand. Millie when to check over her husband a little more critically while the taller Imp walked over to me, "That was mighty fine work there, newbie. I guess there is a place within my little company for you after all."

I smirked back knowingly, "Well, though I am not a sociopath like the rest of you, you will find that I have my ways of contributing."

Blitzo looked at me with confusion before he said, "What are you talking about-"

"Blitzo."

Blitzo's expression dropped before he turned around to look at Verosika and her posse. All of them were there other than Vortex. Even the one I knocked out was standing by his leader, except he was rubbing the sore spot on his face.

Blitzo motioned at them all, "Oh, great. We deal with one creature and more takes its place. What do you want, whore?"

Verosika folded her arms before looking at him, "That was rather dramatic, don't you think?"

He shrugged her off, "Oh, go sit on a thorn-covered dick."

She fumed, "Why don't you-" I stepped forward with an unimpressed look. She stared at me for a moment before smirking. Yep, she was back to her seductive self. She spoke softer, "When I mean dramatic, I meant to say that it was very impressive to watch. It was something else to watch you take that thing out."

I let out a sigh finding her flirtation rather amusing at this point. I said, "I am sure Millie is as pleased to hear that as much as I am." I pointed at the female Imp who just waved her fingers in a taunt. Verosika's smile dropped a little from this. I then tossed her the flask that caused all this trouble. Her smile disappeared completely at this point. A look of dread replaced it. I said, "The deal."

Blitzo looked at me with confusion, "The deal? What deal?"

Verosika looked down at her ex with frustration, "I wish to forfeit."

Blitzo's eyes widened at this, "Wait, does that mean-"

I nodded in confirmation as Verosika sneered, "Yes. The parking spot is yours."

I added with a smile, but with an irritated undertone, "And you are stuck with me."

He screamed out, "YEAH! WE FUCKING WON! HAHAHAHAHAAA!" He then flipped the bird toward Verosika and her crew, "Take that, you stupid bitch! You should have known better than to challenge me to a bet."

Millie said, "Yee-Fuckin'-Haw!"

Verosika growled out at the Imp who continued to berate her with his celebration. She then peered at me for a moment before saying, "While I hope to never see the rest of you again, I hope I do run into you again, Kyle."

I shrugged, "I would be more open to it if it is under friendly circumstances. It will take me a little of time to get over this fucking bet, though."

Blitzo interjected, "Don't waste your time with this bitch. You now know she is a worthless, losing, skank." My expression dropped a little. Blitzo added, "Plus, you showed your true value to our little team by winning me back my parking spot. I am now able to accept you with open arms."

I let out a sigh, "Glad to hear…"

Verosika seemed to be done with us, "Come on. Let's get out of here." She turned over to where Vortex was and yelled, "Vortex, come!"

Vortex was still deep in conversation with Loona before he heard him being called. He said, "Well, I guess it is time for me to bounce. But hey, if you are ever down to party, I will send you a message."

Loona beamed, "Really?! I mean, I would really like to come sometime. Yeah… That would be cool."

Tex smirked back, "Great! My girlfriend throws the best Hound parties. I still have yet to meet anyone who hasn't had a great time. It will be a great place for you to meet other Hellhounds and become friends with them."

Loona's smirk threatened to drop off, but it instead became an ungenuine one. She was completely bummed out hearing him use the word 'girlfriend'. She, however, couldn't hide the disappointment from her voice, "Great… Yeah… Can't wait to go to my first one…"

Vortex chuckled right as he was about to leave. He then turned around in another thought, "Also, I don't ever invite non-Hellhounds, but bring your friend, Kyle."

Loona awkwardly rubbed her arm, "Umm, I don't think we are-"

Vortex placed his hand on her shoulder capturing her attention. He said, "Look, girl, from what I have seen when talking to Kyle, he is the rare type of demon that doesn't look down on us. I can also see he cares about you and views you as a friend when he talks to you. He makes you happy. I'm not going to tell you what to do or how to think, but he is a one-of-a-kind kind of dude."

Loona blinked a few times in surprise. It was hard not to agree with Tex. Kyle had been there more than anyone else had while also treating her like an equal. Her fears of being hurt, abandoned, and getting too close kept her from truly feeling like he was her friend. Something finally clicked within her. She genuinely smiled before she said, "Yeah… I will think about that…"

A yell from Verosika broke into their conversation once again, "VORTEX!"

The bodyguard looked a little more nervous, "Alright, I got to go. Just think about what I said, and I will keep in touch."

Tex began to walk away from Loona leaving her alone with her thoughts. At the same moment, I was walking over to Loona with my large bag of goods for her. The large Hellhound-turned-human looked at me with respect while saying, "It's been real."

I nodded, "Yeah, take care."

I finally made it to Loona while she looked at the sand with a longing look. I cleared my throat breaking her out of her thoughts. She looked at me with wide eyes before I passed her the bag. She then appeared to be confused, "What is all of this?"

Loona took the bag while I explained, "Well, let's just say that I had a little time to browse the local area, and I stumbled upon a liquor store." She continued to look into the bag with confusion, so I bluntly said, "Don't tell me you forgot about our little deal."

She looked back with shock, "We made that a while ago! You didn't need to get me all of this." She looked through the bag a little deeper before saying, "All of this looks really expensive, and there is one more bottle than we agreed on."

I waved her off, "Ehh, none of that matters. My money here has become increasingly worthless, and I decided to throw another bottle in because why not."

Loona opened her mouth again to argue, but then the thoughts of what Vortex told her came back into her mind. Maybe this was just another thing that he does because she views him as a friend. She felt warm inside from thinking this, and a smile opened on her lips. She spoke, "Thanks, Kyle. I appreciate it. Maybe we can share these later? You know, as friends?"

I couldn't help but grin back, "Yeah, that sounds fun."

Blitzo yelled from the distance at us, "Come on, Loony Toony! Kyle! Let's get the fuck out of here! I have a car to move into my fat, fucking space."

I motioned for Loona to lead us toward underneath the pier where the portal was already opened up. She trotted along until she made it through while Blitzo waited patiently beside it. He smirked at me, "Nice work out there, champ! You and Mills did a nice fucking job today."

I was about to respond while walking through the portal, but the sound of sirens and police yelling could be heard. I turned around to see Verosika's group with their hands up and scared. Blitzo smirked, "Oh, this is too fucking good! That bitch and those whores are going to get what they deserve."

I let out a sigh while walking over to their group. Blitzo yelled out in a hushed manner, "What the fuck are you doing?!"

I didn't even respond to him. I knew that I promised to deal with everything here for her as a part of our deal. I was keen on keeping to my word, despite this probably being viewed as a little bit of overkill. With confident strides forward, I walked up the steps while preparing myself to look stupid. My clothes didn't exactly exude a Special Agent, but

I walked around the group and spoke clearly and with confidence, "What do you think you are doing?! You have the wrong fucking people here!"

Some of the officers and agents dropped their weapons a little in confusion. Similarly, Verosika and her group looked at me with disbelief at what I was doing. This confusion was going to be short-lived as the one in charge seemed to step forward, "Well, they look like the sick deviants who messed up this beach with their voodoo."

I shook my head while thinking. An idea came into mind, "What, have you never seen cosplay before? You know how fanatical some of these kids are with their pop stars and idols." The agent in charge didn't seem to buy my argument one bit. I bit the bullet for some sort of authenticity, "Look, I was undercover here trying to catch some punks handing out drugs when I saw it all go down. The real culprits left here the instant that monster appeared and went off that way." I pointed down the beach.

Still, a look that said he wasn't buying it, I could feel I was going to be roped in with Verosika and her group. However, I noticed a change in the feeling of my arm. More specifically, I felt the mark on my arm start to burn. This was followed by the groans of all the succubi and incubi behind me. They held their heads as whatever was happening took place.

The agent in charge seemed to stand up a little more straight, and his eyes seemed to glaze over in an instant like something was affecting his mind. Suddenly, he returned to his initial posture before nodding. He spoke softly, "Yeah… You're right."

I did a double take of him before he continued, "Move out, men. These aren't the ones we are looking for."

Just like that, the agents and police dropped their weapons down, got in their vehicles, and drove down in the direction I pointed to earlier. I was relieved once I was no longer looking down at the barrels of various guns.

The voice of Verosika brought me out of my thoughts, "Why did you stand up for us?"

I looked over at her with confusion, "What?"

She folded her arms, "Why did you do that? You could have left us with a whole lot of pig dick suck, but you helped us. I just don't get it. Shouldn't you hate my guts for trying to steal you from my dipshit ex? Are you just trying to gain favor with a celebrity?"

I let out an amused huff, "To be honest, I don't know. Firstly, you are kind of a diva. Still, your beef with Blitz is between you two, and I hold nothing against you. Also, I don't give a shit that you are a celebrity. Maybe I just kept to our agreement to deal with the mess you created here." I then pointed out, "I am not sure what happened, but I don't think you have much time to get the fuck out of here."

Verosika cocked a hip with a smirk, "Now I feel like I owe you a good rutting for saving our asses. No strings attached."

With a chuckle, I shook my head, "I am quite alright." Verosika was surprised by this before I continued, "Not that you aren't extremely attractive. I just don't think it is something that needs to be owed."

An unfamiliar, warm feeling overcame Verosika's cheeks as they lightly lit up in red. The other demons just looked at her in shock. Tex gave me a nod of respect before breaking his boss out of her shock, "We should get out of here."

The succubus's voice was light, "Yeah, you are right…" I nodded at them before making my way back to the beach and the portal.

I didn't even turn around to look at Verosika as her eyes continued to watch me. She was astonished by what I had just done for them, for her. She couldn't help but think, 'That demon is something else entirely.' She began to disappear into the shadows with the rest of her posse.

I made it back to the portal to see a pouting Blitzo. He asked, "Why the fuck did you help her?! She could have been out of the way for a while!"

Looking down at my boss, another thought came into mind as to why I did what I did. I leaned over with a humorous expression, "Maybe next time you won't use me as a fucking pawn for your parking spot! Me helping her out there is just another way to get back at you."

Blitzo pointed to the gateway, "Get your human ass through that portal. I will deal with this back at the office."

I didn't antagonize the Imp any further as I simply walked back to Hell. I didn't even want to bother with any other thinking besides anything that would help me further understand what had happened up there. My eyes traced the marking on my wrist.

If I had to guess, I somehow sucked some of the power from Verosika's group and somehow used it to trick that agent. The meaning behind the marking was becoming increasingly confusing. From the dreams that I would get to what had just happened. It was just a great mystery to me. There feels to be a deeper meaning behind it that I hadn't fully grasped. Something had definitely changed with it too. Not in looks or anything. After what I just did, it felt… empty. The marking felt like a void that needed to be filled with something. What that was, I didn't know.

With resolution, I knew that this would require a visit to Stolas himself to figure out more information. Perhaps the dreams and what happened were connected. I can only figure this out by visiting him.

My eyes locked onto Loona's as she waited patiently in the lobby. She lightly smiled back at me as she was back to her Hellhound self. My worries seemed to sink back into the depths of my mind as I looked back at her. I could visit Stolas tomorrow or some other day. Right now, I should just enjoy the present and the victories I got today.

There we go. I have completed the two-parter just I have promised, and in a nice amount of time as well. I hope you enjoyed the remainder of the arc that I provided, and that you are excited for the next chapter.

Next chapter will be back to fully original content that I have come up with. It will include mostly Kyle and Stolas (unless major requests to have other main character), other characters, and appearances from Stella and Octavia. Other than that, you will have to see what developments there are. Should be interesting...

Now, if anyone is interested, I am going to leave the discord channel code available to any of you. I usually ask for small details, and some ideas are discussed with others on what I should do with the story. You can even just chat with others in it. I don't really fucking care, it is available to you below if you want in.
