Hermione spent all afternoon at the library writing a Potions essay for Snape.

Her stomach growls. She realizes she's very hungry.

She looks at her watch, and, luckily, it's dinner time. She packs her things and heads to the Great Hall for dinner. She takes her seat at the Ravenclaw table. She searches for Harry on the Slytherin table across from her. She can't find him. She looks for Draco. He's also not there. She figures out they might've snuck out to get up to who knows what.

"Looking for someone, Granger?" The person sitting right next to her noticed her. She turned around to see who it was.

"No," she denied. It was Anthony Goldstein. Her Co-Prefect.

"Are you looking for Potter?" He asked, seeing right through her.

She did not respond, he chuckled.

"Are you two…?"

"What? No!" Hermione very defensively answered.

"Okay, sorry." Anthony said jokingly, still smiling.

"Sorry, that was probably…" Hermione started apologizing, a bit flushed.

"It's okay." Anthony assured her.

She looks to the faculty table. Umbridge isn't there, which is unusual. Ever since she became Headmistress, she never misses a meal, or a chance to display her authority. As she wonders, she catches a glimpse of Snape at the entrance to the Great Hall, gesturing with his head for someone to come his way. A second later, McGonagall stands out of her chair.

Hermione stood up too.

"Where are you going?" Anthony asked her. "You barely ate."

"I'm not hungry." She said, and left. She followed McGonagall and Snape.

"… I found her unconscious in her office, and both Potter and Malfoy are missing." Hermione overheard Snape tell McGonagall.

"How…? What…?" McGonagall blankly stared at Umbridge's unconscious body in McGonagall's office.

"According to my sources," Snape started saying, very cautiously, "Malfoy was taken out of Hogwarts by his father as a part of a plan to lure Potter to the Ministry."

"This is very dangerous, Severus." McGonagall said, grimly. "I will stay here to keep an eye on the students, you go tell the Order."

Hermione watched in horror. Harry, and possibly Draco too, are in danger.

"So," A voice came from behind her. She turned around to see Anthony Goldstein holding her bag, which she apparently left behind at the Ravenclaw table, "are we going?"
