HOT…it was warm…his body was warm even though she wasn't in the spot she could still feel the heat it was…pleasant, a sensation the woman wouldn't have thought she could recognize.
Staring at her right hand as if it were the most fascinating thing she had ever seen, there was a small cut on the hand.
The witch didn't know why the man hugged her or why he returned the hug... but in that short period of time, the woman felt…
"Jeanne" a voice caught her attention.
"There is Gilles, what do you want?" She kept looking at her hand.
"My dear Jeanne, the invocation of the new servant has already been completed, ahh now it will be a matter of time for the sinners to succumb" the new servant was a little behind the mage giving him an expression of disgust.
"Despicable" the servant whispered.
The dragon witch took one look at the servant, it was a small girl with green hair and cat ears on top of the head.
Looking out the window she saw the dragon Fafnir feeding with some cows he found along the way.
A gear started turning in her head.
"Where's Martha?" the witch asked.
"Eh… well, the Santa noticed that you used a considerable amount of Command Seals, she took the opportunity to run away… but don't worry my dear Jeanne, I'm already looking for it" Gilles bowed.
…
"Forget her, it won't make a difference"
Gilles looked up and expected the woman to get angrier. The mage saw the corrupted saint staring at the hand.
"I hope that unlike others, you are
More useful" this caused the cat-eared archer to raise her eyebrow.
"Oh, as much as I'd like to put an arrow between your eyes, my part I do ask, the question will you do yours?" Her voice was full of venom.
"How dare you speak like that to…" the corrupted saint interrupted him.
"I hope your skills are in the same tongue, because if not" His eyes flashed yellow and stopped.
"Get out, everyone, I need to be alone now… I need to think" she sat down at the window.
"Oh my dear Jeanne, how expected of you, already creating a strategy that will lead us to victory Ah Jeanne" his eyes looked two places at the same time, and again the archer gave a look of disgust.
The witch just lazily nodded at the man's actions "Yes, yes, yes now leave"
"Didn't you hear, let's go to Jeanne's words are order" he said hysterical
The archer just stared at him and left.
Giles bowed "I'm leaving my Jeanne"
But the woman didn't hear all she could think of was the HEAT.
She remembered the heat, it burned and hurt… but this one was different…
it was Good.
Closing the hand that was cut on the blades that were coming out of that man's arm.
…
She wanted to feel that heat again, the heat that didn't hurt her, the heat that was comfortable.
She wanted that heat for HERSELF.

She blinked and blinked. It was still night and because of the caster's magic field it was difficult for servants to recover the spent mana, the master helped a lot with that but it was not enough. Everyone was forced to sleep, even though the servants didn't need it, it was a way to recover some mana and rest their tired bodies.
Although
The flag saint blinked and blinked as she watched the group in the dead of night.
She sees the caster Cuchulainn sitting on the ground with his staff at his side and the other was Mashu using his shoulder as a pillow and the master was doing the same with her.
Marie was sleeping next to her sitting in a chair and using the table as a support for her head.
Scathach had sat with her back against the wall and her spear at the side, it looked like the woman wanted to sleep close to the group that was very close to her... actually two paces from where she was. However when the archer faced her and raised his eyebrow the woman stiffened and made haughty comments and just sat down next to the two.
And what was left was the archer and saber.
The man was sitting with his back to the wall and next to the door the saber just decided to use his arm as a pillow.
Speaking of the arm, it looks like the blades had fallen off and the burns were gone, out of everyone in the group he was the one who healed the fastest even if in a strange way.
In the dark of the room Jeanne looked at her hand, a cut had appeared and so far it had not healed.
Jeanne looked back at the archer, when the man left saying he was going to collect information from the city the woman felt her body get warm for reasons she couldn't understand. It was as if someone had hugged her… it was a good feeling.
Her eyes filled with tears and the Saint didn't understand why she was crying, her master asked if everything was okay which she said it was and she didn't understand the reason for the tears.
No matter what she did or what she thought, it all came back to that man and the feeling of WARM.
Jeanne dematerialized her metallic boots and began to move around where the archer was and stayed there for a moment watching him.
The heat she'd felt before returned.
Carefully, the saint moved to the archer's vacant side and sat beside him, leaning her shoulder against his.
The heat rose, unlike the heat she remembered burning and hurting this heat was different it was PLEASANT.
A smile came over her face. She knows that this heat will not last long, but the saint will try to enjoy this HEAT.
The saint on the flag closed her eyes and enjoyed the pleasant sensation.

"Calm down, I'm on my way"
Upon opening the door, Ritsuka sees a soldier in front of the door.
"Hmm… can I help with something?"
The man started to speak and all Ritsuko did was shake her head.
"What's going on master?" Marie caught her attention.
"I don't know, I don't understand anything" the girl's answer made her blink.
"I think it's better to leave this to me, go go" She gave her gentle little nudges to get her out the door.
"Calm down, calm down, I'm leaving, no need to push" the girl complained.
"Hello, something happened that needs our attention," said Marie with a cheerful attitude.
"You are being summoned, and this is not a request. I ask you to prepare, the Holiness Bishop Pierre Cauchon wants to talk with the group"
"..." so early it's not even dawn yet is to be expected when the face of the woman who is causing so much misfortune in this house.
"We'll be there soon, just give us a few minutes" the woman smiled, making the soldier's cheeks turn pink.
"Hmm… please don't be late, the bishop doesn't like to be late" he looked away from the elegant woman in front of him.
Marie put her hand over her mouth to stifle her laugh "We won't, I promise"
"So, our rest time is over, I presume" Jeanne's voice came in her ears.
"Yes, it seems that our hosts want explanations of…" Marie stopped as she looked into Jeanne's face.
"Okay, I understand," said Ruler, seeing his reflection in the broken glass in front of her.
"I don't know, because it's not like they have a choice. Without our help, they don't have a chance to survive" The caster stated while playing with the runes.
Scathach smacked his head, making the man ask why she did it as he rubbed the place of the blow.
"You're going to end up setting the whole place on fire" The way she spoke sounded like she was scolding a child.
"Ehh, what do you think I'm a child?" the wizard complained "Besides, you're not my teacher anymore…" he stopped when the goddess glared at him.
"Sorry, I'll stop" he looked away.
"What Satenta said is true, they have no choice, they should just be grateful for our help" the comment made Jeanne and Marie sigh.
"I don't think that's the problem, Miss Scathach" Mashu said what everyone in the room thought.
"The problem is trust, people are scared and we have to find a way to show that we are not the enemy" Santa explained.
"Besides, we're trying to protect them, not cause fear," Marie added.
"Still don't see the problem, better alive and scared than confining and dead. It's not like we're leaving anyway" The woman leaned against the wall, her ribs were better but far from what the goddess would have considered ideal.
"Don't be mean Scathach, we want to help these people not make them run away from us" her master scolded her.
The goddess raises her hand making the girl hide behind Mashu. She gave her tongue to the goddess "Bully"
"Brat" the goddess narrowed her eyes on her master.
"It hurts to say this but she's right, we're here for a reason and we're only leaving when we achieve our goals. Whether they like it or not" the authoritative voice of the saber made them shiver.
"When you put it like that," the shield servant muttered.
"What a way with words, miss" the caster chuckled.
"You are cruel" who murmured now was the master.
"Being an employee of humanity I should know about this child" the comment made Ritsuka repeat.
"Employee?!"
"Well technically that's what we are Senpai" the girl moved her head to the side looking at the master's reaction.
"When you put it like that it sounds like I'm a public agent" Ritsuka commented despondently.
"Well, that's what we are" Mashu patted his master on the head.
"I think" said the girl despondently.
Something clicked in the girl's head.
"At least I get paid?!" The change in attitude made everyone laugh.
"Master, the important thing is the good of humanity, not profits" Jeanne, acting her role as a saint, tried to convince the girl.
Ritsuka made a face "Communist talk, I want my payment" the girl crossed her arms, making Mashu laugh.
"Don't change Senpai" putting her hand over her mouth to stifle her laughter.
"I don't care about monetary gains, that doesn't make sense to me. I know very well the prize I'm going to get when I leave this place" the saber was sitting in a chair with her legs crossed. She licks the lips.
The comment sent a shiver down the female servant's spines.
Marie put the hand in front of her mouth "Oh my"
"Aren't you ashamed to say that out loud?" Jeanne muttered looking everywhere but at the corrupted knowledge.
"What would it be, my sword mate?" Scathach's voice echoed around the place.
"None of your business Lancer" Artoria lifted her head looking at the ceiling already imagining her prize.
The archer was relentless with her, he wasn't kind or romantic, she didn't care about that, after all, the person who she knew died a long time ago… like her. But he was good at what he did and she never felt any of that before.
Perhaps it was a way of spilling over and learning what the servant had started. Just imagining her tightening her crossed legs a little, the action did not go unnoticed by the Goddess.
"Oh, please enlighten me, my sword companion. For a moment you looked more like an animal than a king" she tried but the king's reaction was unexpected.
"I know what I want and what I want I'll get, I always get it" she looked at the goddess "Say Scathach, what do you want?"
The goddess gritted her teeth BITCH, the saber was right, the goddess had nothing that she desired her existence was meaningless. What the goddess did was arrange things to keep her busy while she waited for her immortal life to end.
At least until recently...she would never admit such an ANIMALISTIC desire.
The goddess just stared at her as she tightened her grip on the spear.
"It seems that our saber is determined in what she wants" the caster's smile grew "at least she is honest in what she wants right Professor"
You pay me Satenta, I'll make you regret it.
"Can we… change the subject" Ritsuka was very uncomfortable.
"Senpai… your face is red"
"Ahhh" the girl left the room in a hurry.
"Wait Senpai, don't go alone Senpai" the girl ran after her master.
"I think I better accompany her" Jeanne was a little nervous.
"Yes, yes we will" Marie accompanied the holy flag.
"I think I'm going to have a lot of fun with this group" The caster waved to his teacher "Don't take too long, teacher"
The sound of metallic boots draws the goddess's attention.
"Something on your mind" Artoria walks past her without looking at the woman.
…
…
…
Was it wrong ? After all she also had will and desires but... it's been so long since she didn't know what it is to be human, was it that bad?

Music was heard as the group walked through the halls.
The sound just got louder and louder as he approached the main room.
"Looks like they're excited" Mashu commented as the music got louder and louder. It was a beautiful thing to hear, something refined, something CLASSIC.
"For someone so urgent for us to see them, they seem to be quite relaxed" the Sage of the forest chuckled.
"Something doesn't feel right" Scathach admitted that the music he was listening to was pleasing to the ears, but it didn't seem to fit the time it was being performed.
Upon arriving at the place, the group from Chaldea was a little surprised by what they saw.
Lots of food, people eating and celebrating to the sound of a man playing the piano.
How a piano ended up in that location they decided not to question.
Two women set eyes on the group the moment they entered. One little girl had horns, dress and a tail and the other appeared to be a Japanese woman with horns and wearing a yukata.
"So our guests have arrived" said the bishop, causing everyone to look at the group.
"Want us to see Bishop?" The saint of the flag asked.
"Yes, I would like to know what the dragon witch is doing in my city. After all the suffering.
The woman grimaced "I already told you, I'm not her" looking into the eyes of the man who ordered her to be burned.
People looked at her and whispered.
"How do you explain your existence here WITCH, I ordered you to be put down for your sins I saw you BURN" The sound of a staff hitting the ground echoed throughout the venue.
"You came from the bottom of hell to get revenge, you think these people deserve your uncontrolled killing" the woman looked down.
…
The saint muttered something
"What? I didn't hear you witch" the woman clenches her fists.
"A doppelganger" everyone fell silent.
"THEY HEARD THE WITCH SAID THAT EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED HERE WAS NOT HER BUT A CLONE. THE WOMAN LIES TO EVERYONE WITHOUT ANY SHAME" The bishop spoke loudly for all to hear.
People's whispers got louder and louder.
mumbled and mumbled just getting louder in Jeanne's head.
"Stop"
The murmurs stopped
Out of everyone in the dining room, the peculiar people who were presumably servants stared at the owner of the voice.
"And who would you be?" the bishop looked at the white haired woman.
"Now, what matters is that we are allies" Marie placed her hand on Santa's shoulder comforting her "If Jeanne was the witch of dragons, everyone would already be dead, we are here to support the next attack. Even for people who don't deserve it " she looked into the bishop's eyes.
"Hm, and who said we need your help woman"
"What lies ahead is something humans are not capable of facing, you need our help as much as we need yours"
"No, we don't" the answer took the servant by surprise.
"We have our champion, protecting us" Finally the group noticed a man sitting in a chair covered by shadows.
…
It cannot be
"Sigfried… he's alive" Marie whispered.
The man was sitting on the chair facing the Chaldea group but it was noticed that there were black marks on him.
"Our knight here isn't the only one to save us either, despite being the most efficient" a smile grew on his face.
Marie looked at the man at the piano who waved his hand.
The girl with a tail was sitting and swinging her legs and the woman wearing a yukata was holding a fan close to her mouth as she mumbled things to the little girl.
So that's how they survived for so long...
"Then, tell me why keep them here to keep them ALIVE" this made the servants of Caldea step into a more attentive position.
The Dragon Slayer just stood there staring at them.
"This guy is getting on my nerves" the caster got annoyed with that arrogant man "if this continues we won't have to wait for the witch to arrive I burned the bastard myself"
"Cuchulain we came to help even if they don't deserve it" Jeanne knew that, it seemed that the saint was repeating it to herself.
The wizard looked out of the corner of his eye "You really are a good girl at… as you wish after all it's not my choice"
"Tell me… why are you fighting?" The voice caught everyone's attention.
…
…
…
"I… I don't want to see the place I was born and raised burn to ashes" her voice was husky.
"Even if these people don't deserve your protection?"
"Even if you don't deserve it" the saint repeated.
"Sigfried, what does that mean?" The dragon slayer ignored him.
"Your wish is praiseworthy, but it will be in vain
with the dragon Fafnir on the enemy side, not the chance" this surprised everyone " What we managed to do here was slow down the inevitable"
"You didn't kill him before, what would be different now?" Finally the goddess spoke, questioning the man.
"A miracle… When I defeated Fafnir it was a miracle. I don't think another one will happen, besides I'm weak, I was cursed and I can barely fight properly… I don't think they last long" Sigfried looked at his hands "What I can do is wish you well… luck"
"Wait, you're going to give up like that… so easily you shouldn't be a hero… heroes don't give up they fight and protect everyone" Ritsuka said even though her didn't understand the conversation between Jeanne, Marie and the bishop because her didn't understand the language but the Dragon Slayer she did understand.
The hero blinked "Ah, I like your attitude girl, but it's not something I have…" he was interrupted when a hand touched his forehead.
The girl walked over to him as he spoke and placed her hand on his forehead.
"It's enough if you want to keep fighting I'll help you just stop… stop it doesn't have to end like this if you keep fighting there's always a chance, now the question is do you want to keep going?"
The man stared at the girl for a few seconds.
"I want" he closed his eyes.
"Then I will be your MASTER, and I ask you to fight for a new tomorrow"
"I Sigfried, accept your wishes and will act them out" he smiled
"Then it's all right, let's beat this" she flashed a toothy smile.
"Fu fu, apparently our saber isn't so crestfallen anymore, that's a relief. After all, girls don't like sad men all the time, it's irritating" said the woman with the fan close to her face.
"It's about time, I was tired of having to use my angelic voice to cheer you up" the little girl snorted "and I think Mozard must be tired of playing that piano to cheer you up too"
"Don't say that miss, music will be something I'll never get tired of" he placed the left hand on his chest as spoke.
"What do you think you are doing you have no right this is a sin what…"
"Shut up, this situation is your fault to start fluffy, if you keep complaining I'll throw you to the witch myself when I arrive" she commented, cleaning the dirt from her fingernails.
The bishop was startled.
"Besides, we're not doing this for you, just be lucky enough to be around the people of this town. I don't think there's anything there around that fat that has salvation" the horned and tailed girl's face was upturned and the way that she looked at the man was one of pure disgust.
"They can't do… in the name of…" he was interrupted by a fireball hitting the wall beside his head.
"Shut up, I don't want to hear your voice any more than necessary mister puffy" the caster's hood covered his face while your eyes sparkled for a second.
"Hm… looks like a Dejavu doesn't Satenta think" the god assassin moved her head to the side to look at her disciple.
"Ahh well tell me, the fat one looks a lot like the people I served, especially royalty" the Sage of the forest spat on the ground, making Mashu jump in action.
Scathach placed her finger on the cheek and rested the spear on her shoulder "If I remember correctly, it was you who chose to serve them"
"Doesn't mean it was damn nice" the sage grumbled.
"Well… and now?" The shield servant asked after the scene developed.
"Now Mashu, let's wait" his master replied "This madness will end in the battle of this city"
"Senpai… I think you have to stop watching action movies… you're even stealing the catchphrases" the girl's cheeks turned red.
"Ahhhh Mashu why!" Her moment was spoiled.
A hand touched Jeanne's shoulder.
"Are you well ?" Marie asked the saint just to be sure.
…
"No…but I will stay" she smiled.
Burn...
Witch…
Demon…
BURNED… everything burned...
"I will be fine"

Sitting on the roof of the building, the archer watched the city while the wind hit his face.
His state of clothing was deplored, only what was left of the last battle was his cause and boots… well in parts, the right side of the cause was destroyed up to the knee.
The man seemed to be disconnected from reality just staring at nothing.
"You again, I'm starting to think you have ulterior motives, Miss Flag Santa" he had his back turned but the woman could imagine a smile on his face.
The woman watched the man's muscular back, which brought a smile to her face.
"Oh, looks like you read my mind" the archer listened to the sound of metallic boots approaching until the witch sat down next to him.
A small interference appeared for a second until it stabilized.
"The proposal still stands, it would be smart to accept, this place will be ashes by the end of this night.
"And why do you care? Since I'm going to die anyway"
The woman smiled.
"I need some comfort and I think it's a waste for someone nice to look at to end up charred" the archer smiled.
"Then I'm just a tool for you to scratch" the witch huffed.
"Should be honored, people usually die so be grateful" now the snort came from the man.
"For a virgin woman you look thirsty"
She looked him up and down only this time the archer was looking at her too.
"Can't I appreciate what I couldn't in life?" She licked her lips.
The man sighed.
"Oh why are the pretty girls always the bad ones" he felt a hand rest on his shoulder.
The witch's body gave interference for a second.
"Compliments will get you a long way" the archer blinked and blinked.
The man looked straight ahead again.
"Tell me Jeanne… is this paying off?" The woman raised an eyebrow.
"Of course, the wretches preach that sinners have to pay for their sins… I'm just carrying out what I was taught" A half smile was on her face.
"What's you care about the bastards?"
…
…
…
Not really… a long time ago man lost empathy for humanity… he was doing this… well it was his job he guessed… it wasn't like he had a choice.
After all, he never had.
"Are you happy?" The question caught her off guard.
"What ?" She answered confused.
"Did I say you're happy? That all… everything you did made you satisfied? All the destruction, death and disgrace… tell me it made you happy?" The witch blinked and blinked.
Was she happy?
…
She didn't know… just that she had to do it almost as irrationally, almost as if it had been laid into her since birth.
"I…" was she happy?
She was getting revenge... she was happy?...
An image of a woman very similar to her appeared in her mind.
'Jeanne'
She closed her right eye and placed her hand on the head.
"I see you still don't have the answer" the woman didn't react to the man she just kept holding her head.
It seems that the time the caster gave her in the spell was running out, the witch was disappearing in specks of purple light.
"Normally I don't do this… but you can do me a favor" Finally the woman paid attention to the man.
"Favor?"
"When you find out… tell me this… it's more important to me than you think… Can you do that?"
she blinked
"I…" the woman disappeared.
The archer sighed and looked ahead and saw what looked like a meteor shower coming towards the city.
With the man's vision he was able to identify they were arrows… energized and falling in great quantity, he assumed it was the noble phantasm of some servant.
"I wonder if it's worth it?" The man asked himself as he watched the energy rainfall.
That night the sky rained DEATH.

Author
Hello everyone, sorry for the delay, college arrived, hitting me violently, I was (I am) short of time, luckily my cell phone companion accompanies me and I can write in my free time.
…
That's not the only reason for the delay either, I was flirting with the NIER series. I was reading stories around and... well some I think are promising others... Well, it's something you would see in an adult movie plot. I'm questioning starting a story about the Nier and Drakengard universe. I've been thinking about this for a while, but I also want to write about Fate .
I have some ideas that have been exploding in my head since I replayed the Nier franchise and Drakengard (Drakengard 3).
I'm will see about it, I don't want a new story to get in the way of this one since I'm short on time.
Also… I started playing BBTAG again so…
See you in the next chapter.
