Jeanne… Jeanne

An immense pain came through the woman's head, she couldn't see who it was just hear her voice… It was sweet and gentle.

Holding her head and on her knees caused by the pain in her head, the woman panted on the back of the dragon Fafnir. Salivary dripped from her mouth and her eyes could barely stay open.

"Hahh what… who the hell… get out of my head" she held her head in both hands.

"Jeanne… promise… girl… good… I'm… proud… you…"

The woman's head touched the dragon's back.

"GET OUT GET OUT GET OUT OF MY FUCKING HEAD" the woman violently banged her head on the hard dragon skin.

The woman couldn't concentrate, she was talking to the enemy archer with Gille's spell and giving orders to her servants… well until the witch lost control. Now not knowing what her mind was focused on, she lost control.

In her head the vision of the woman smiling and holding her hand. She was blurred, broken, burned, her memories were in shambles but she could still see the woman's smile.

"Jea..nne you… became… a… beautiful… woman… my…"

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaa" the witch holding her head as she lost control. One of the marks on her back disappeared.

The eyes of the archer summoned by the caster sparkled for a second. The archer raised her bow while concentrating an absurd amount of prana on the arrow. Her bow trembled not from the power but from frustration.

"Wretched woman what do you think you're doing, there's no need to use a noble phantasm" the archer clenched her teeth as she concentrated energy into the arrow.

"Ohh, as expected Jeanne, let me help you in your wonderful work" the man opened the book and held out his hand "Tonight my dear Jeanne, everyone felt your fury. Everyone felt your Pain"

Purple magic circles appeared.

An army of Wyverns approached the city being led by Fafnir on top of some of them were the Berserker, Caster and Archer.

The archer's arrow was reaching breaking point.

The caster's circles got bigger and bigger and were prepared to increase the power of the attack.

While the servant of vengeance…

She couldn't stand the visions in her head. Memories of the woman didn't know she had, tears welled up in her eyes.

"Please… stop… stop I don't want to see anymore" the woman looked up as the tears fell.

"My… goddess… I dedicate this calamity to you…" Atalanta tried to resist but with no results.

"Phoebus Catastrophe"

The archer's arrows soared through the skies through Caster's circles. The arrows multiplied, and energized to extremes by the Caster's burster, the rain became meteors of energy.

And so that night the sky rained DEATH.

Grand Order

-6-

Fire… fire everywhere you looked, buildings on fire and people running desperately. Everything happened so fast to the point that anyone who saw it would think what was happening would be divine punishment.

While the city was on fire, a man was on top of the roofs watching everything burn.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of your dream"

A child with red hair and a radiant smile appeared in a glass.

The child was not alone, she was being accompanied by a man. He smiled.

The archer couldn't see his face, only his smile.

The man looked up at the moon and sighed.

"That's good, it makes me happy" he smiled.

The glass shattered into shards, leaving only the man's smile in the reflection.

The archer continued to watch the city burn. The man just stood there, having the power to help people, but he just watched.

Sometimes the image of that man appeared in his head, but the archer couldn't remember who he was… he barely remembered who he was… did he remember anything? Only shards of glass remained… he barely remembered Saber… he just… remembered her name. If he wasn't able to see past the servants by looking through the weapon, the Archer would wonder if he really knew her.

Memories, memories… the archer had this? He asked.

The only thing he remembers is fighting and fighting and fighting...

Even so, this man's voice thanked him. Why? Was he… supposed to help? It wasn't his job… his job was to keep the child alive. the archer asked.

"It is worth it ?"

"They deserve ?"

Voices in his head began to emerge.

"Help us Help us Help us" The voices weren't people trying to protect themselves, they were memories maybe? No… no, the Archer wouldn't believe that.

It felt like thousands of hands had grabbed him yet the archer didn't move a finger he just stood there watching.

"Help us Help us Help us" the voices got louder, the hands seemed to want to pull him down. More and more hands gripped the man's body.

They deserve?

"MORTAL!" A voice snapped him out of his trance, the man turned his head to see the owner of the voice.

"What are you doing here, the city is in chaos, where were you?... no, it doesn't matter now we have to counterattack" even Scathach talking close to his ears the archer didn't hear a single word from the woman.

He looked at his shoulder and saw that the goddess was holding it. He looked back at her.

"No… there was time" he is interrupted "it doesn't matter now, we have to act fast"

The sound of an explosion drew their attention.

"The master and the others are already doing the counter defense measures, I came to see where it was" why did she come? He didn't think it necessary to deviate from the child's protection to pick him up.

"Let's go we have to go" he looked at her hand on his shoulder and then looked back at the goddess.

"I… I'll stay here, I'm an archer, my job is to support from a distance" Scathach turned and looked at him.

"Did you not hear me, it's all chaos, you'll be more helpful with us. LETS GO" He blinked and blinked.

He opened his mouth, but Scathach cut him off before any words were out of his mouth.

"Let's go without wasting time" she draws symbols in the air making a circle appear below both of them.

I guess I don't have a choice… hm it's not like I have one to begin with.

And just like that, they were both gone as if they were never there.

The man before disappearing with the goddess wondered.

"Was it worth saving these people?"

-6-

"That annoying woman didn't even give us time to enjoy a night's sleep" the Caster spins the staff and places it on the ground, releasing a wave of fire that swallows 2 wyverns. "Tsk, I must admit the woman is not kidding"

Ritsuka put a hand over his ears to muffle the noise of the attack caused by the Caster.

"Looks like we didn't make a good impression on her I guess"

"Oh, what makes you think of that, Miss?" A smile came over his face.

"Just… haaa" an undead tried to grab her but the girl was saved by the Japanese servant who looked more like a lamia.

The servant wraps her body around the undead until it breaks like a toy.

"Fufu is a very distracted little girl" she drops the broken body on the ground. "She could end up dying.

"Don't be so cruel to the child, she must be new to all this" said Elizabeth, taking her spear from the skull of an undead.

"Child! I'm taller than you, you snake!" She screamed, making Kiyohime laugh by placing the fan in front of her mouth.

"My goodness, what a sharp mouth, she really has energy" Kiyohime said with amusement.

!?

"Fuck her, I'm going to kill her! I'm not a snake" before the servant could do anything she was held by the collar of her clothes.

"Save your wrath for the enemy not the allies" Siegfried appeared supporting the sword on his shoulder and a wyvern's head was impaled on it "They don't stop coming, if it continues like this there won't be anyone left alive in the city" the dragon slayer did a swinging swing of the sword sent the wyvern's head flying.

"Hey let go of me Siegfried, it's going to be quick let go!" The girl struggled trying to free herself but without success. Siegfried ignored her.

Energy spheres hit 3 wyverns knocking them into the air. Looking at the person who did this, the group spotted Mozart pointing a wand.

"I must admit that I don't like this rhythm, that dares to be very… uncontrolled" the musician looked down and didn't like what he saw.

"Hmm my dear Maria isn't with you? What a pity" the man pouted.

"Sorry Mozart, but your beloved is with Jeanne. Don't be like that we'll meet soon" Siegfried tried to console the man he knew how it was to be separated from the one he loves.

The musician lowered his head in sadness "What an injustice I didn't have time to talk to my beloved when I had time. Now we are trapped in this calamity"

"Don't be like that, when this is all over you can meet her in Chaldea" Ritsuka gave a thumbs up. That brought a smile to the man's face.

The caster ruffled the girl's hair "What a big heart girl" she smiled at the wise man's comment.

"Not wanting to spoil the moment, but we have to act fast before everything falls apart" Mashu said, making everyone look at her.

"Mashu when did you get here?" Ritsuka moved her head to the side in confusion.

"I was here the whole time Senpai" now she was the one who moved her head to the side in confusion. It was a lovely action by the two of them.

Everyone was surprised by an explosion in a building along with a beast coming out of it emanating an air of death.

Another explosion behind the group caught the attention of a woman with blue hair and wearing clothes with Christian symbols. The saint delivered a sequence of precise punches and kicks on the chest of a wyvern causing her back to explode due to the violence of the attacks.

The woman was covered in only wyvern blood as she stared at the group as if she were a predator eyeing her prey.

Elizabeth gave a nervous smile "Ehh why is she looking at us like we are a piece of meat" the servant shifted uncomfortably in Siegfried's arm.

Mashu prepared the shield and went in front of her master. She remembered how the saint did absurd damage to Scathach, it worried her.

"That woman isn't in her best days" Kiyohime adopted a slightly more cautious stance.

"You…" she whispered, but everyone heard her.

Tarasque's footsteps approached, causing Sigfried to place Elizabeth, making the girl fall with her ass on the ground. The saber readied the sword.

"You have no idea how much I searched for you… you have no idea what I went through to find you" the woman took another step forward.

"Hmm, miss don't approach, for everyone's sake" the musician spoke at the top of the building.

"And why would I do that?" Blood trickled down his chin.

"And if we ask nicely, maybe you'll reconsider what you're going to do. We don't have to fight if you don't want to… so please?" Ritsuka tried to talk even if it was in a childish way.

What made them look at her taking Sigfried who was waiting, whatever happened.

"Girl I don't think she was here to help" Cuchulainn said what everyone already thought.

The woman breathed and inhaled then spat out the blood that had flowed down her mouth.

"I want to help"

There was silence for a few seconds.

"I'm sorry about what you said, maybe I didn't clean my ear properly" said Cuchulainn putting his finger in his ear as if he wanted to clean it.

"I said I want to help you, it's time to end this madness" she took another step closer to the group.

"I can't believe it worked" Elizabeth's mouth dropped open.

"It seems that you have the power of dialogue" Mozart gave a smile. Even if he heard Ritsuka again he wouldn't believe it worked.

Cuchulainn felt a Dejavu "let me guess in the previous battle you took the opportunity in your master's out of control and ran away from his control" he put both hands on the staff and rested his chin on top.

The saint blinked in confusion.

"How did you know ?" The sound of a laugh came out of the man's mouth.

"I just had a feeling"

"So you're like our Sigfried here, you must be the second batch the witch summoned" Kiyohime commented

The saint invoked sighed in frustration

"It wasn't like I had a choice to begin with. I should have noticed sooner but I'm not as quick as Maria at these things."

"You could be less scary about it" Elizabeth dusted off her dress and train. "A lady shouldn't behave like that"

She smiled, finally being close to the group "I'm sorry, when I saw the city being attacked the only thing that came to my mind was this" the saint looked at her bloodied hand, remembering the atrocities she was forced to commit. Really a sin.

"Now it's all right! Let's go" The orange haired girl took her out of her thoughts "you… will accept it so easily" Martha was confused.

"You said you're here to help, come on we don't have time" the girl ran past her which made the purple haired girl despair.

"Senpai!" She grabbed her shield that was stuck in the ground and ran after her master.

"Really… so much energy" Kiyohime spoke as he jumped onto the rooftops next to Mozart.

"She's an idiot that's right" the girl gave a snitch as her tail hit the ground.

"If it continues like this, she'll end up killing herself" said the Caster, drawing Nordic symbols lazily in the air causing a group of wooden men to begin to rise from the ground.

Explosions erupted in the distance, drawing the group's attention.

"It looks like things are getting complicated" Kiyohime observed from the top of the building "If it continues like this there won't be anything left"

Drops of blood ran down Martha's chin "I… helped with all of this… helped to cause this hell"

"Oh crying now won't do you any good, I recommend you stop complaining and move your ass. Words won't do you any good now" and so Cuchulainn left.

"Hm, what a rude man" Elizabeth didn't like the wizard's attitude.

"He's right, we have to go" Siegfried saw the dragon Fafnir that was being hit by several projectiles causing explosions but without effect "You will go with her Elizabeth"

?!

"Hey hey hey wait I didn't agree with that, don't leave me with that crazy girl" but the Saber didn't listen and went to confront his enemy.

"Damn Siegfried!" she yelled in frustration.

Martha gave a nervous smile "I really didn't make a good impression" the comment had the rest of the group staring at her.

"You're covered in blood and there's a… I don't know what it looks like it wants to eat us" the creature snarled.

"There's Tarasque talking, don't worry, he's harmless since I tamed him. It's amazing what the word of the Lord can do" the woman said proudly, which made everyone doubt. That seemed anything but innocuous and about words…

She'd beaten him into submission was what everyone thought with a sweat breaking out on their cheek.

"Sorry to interrupt madams" Mozart called out.

"Ah sorry, let's go" Elizabeth pointed her finger at Martha's face "You better not try anything because if you try…" the saint winked at the girl's attitude.

"Don't worry, if she tries anything I don't think there will be anything left fufu"

"Ladies please" the musician sighed.

She blinked once more "I promise"

"It's even better" Elizabeth snorted.

Tarasque approached Martha. Which gave the Saint an idea.

"Well if we're in such a hurry" the woman grabs Elizabeth by the collar which makes the girl startled.

"Hey!" Martha threw the girl on top of Tarasque after doing this action and suddenly the saint climbed on top of the creature.

"Let's go!" She commanded the Tarasque. The animal ran causing Elizabeth to hold on to the woman's waist.

"Haaa you're bloody you're going to stain my dress" the girl yelled in frustration.

"Oh my" Kiyohime stifled a laugh. "Are you going to cover us Mozart?" The woman smiled at the musician.

He placed his hand on his chest "You can count on this, even if it costs my life"

"Then I'll be leaving, I'm counting on you" and so the woman left.

The musician observed the chaos "Maybe this symphony has yet to be fixed" he smiled at the top of the building.

Screams of rage echoed throughout the venue.

Metal colliding with Metal.

In the devastated streets of the city stood two black knights facing each other. Half of the saber's mask was broken giving the view of its golden colored eye staring at her opponent.

"Lancelot… get out of my way, fulfill your knightly oath and obey your king" the saber tightens the hilt of the sword.

"Arrrrrthur" the man didn't hear. The Berserker opened his palm, summoning his sword.

"..." Artoria glared at him. The man's mind was wrecked beyond saving, Artoria would like to say she didn't care…however she cared was her fault after all.

"Lancelot listen…" The Berserker lunged forward, leaping into the air as his body spun and spun until he collided with the saber's corrupted holy sword.

"Grrr" Artoria gritted her teeth. The brute strength of the man to be overcome by making her right knee touch the ground, to match it in strength she would have to use Prana Burst, something the woman did not have the luxury of abusing thanks to the enemy Caster.

"Lancelot… you have to understand… I couldn't do what you asked…" Artoria was hit in the chin with a knee making him roll and roll on the ground.

"COULD'T… YOU HAD ALL THE REASONS AND YET YOU DIDN'T… LET YOUR EMOTIONS BLIND YOUR JUDGMENTS ARTHURRRRRRRRRRRR!" Lancelot put his hand on his helmet and with an enormous force ripped it off with violence revealing his long purple hair and a look of fury.

He was right it was her fault... Artoria should have been the perfect king not letting her emotions affect her decisions but when the time came to judge one of her most trusted knights she failed.

Artoria raised her head and using her sword to lift herself off the ground she spoke "What did you expect me to do, I couldn't give you what Guinevere wanted you could… you make her happy I couldn't destroy that.

"TELL ME IT WAS… WORTH IT?" Artoria's eyes widened in surprise. Lancelot charged the Saber with fury.

Swords collided. The moment the swords touched, Lancelot withdrew the force implicated in Durandal causing Artoria to lunge forward in surprise. Seizing the opportunity the Berserker grabbed her neck and lifted her into the air.

"Grr" she grabbed his wrist. Of all her knights, Lancelot was the most skilled in combat. She heard stories that Lancelot could face armies with just a stick, something she thought was exaggerated but… maybe it wasn't a lie.

She looked at the angry man in front of her.

Sorry Lancelot… I failed you. She said as one of her eyes closed with the pressure the man was putting on her throat.

But I can't let the past affect my decisions now.

Artoria, simply seeing that she had no choice, energized her sword "Haaa" with her free hand and struck the blow causing an explosion.

The two were thrown into the air. The saber spun in the air adjusting her body making her land on her feet, the Berserker did the same.

Her mask has completely broken. She held the sword in both hands, finally deciding to stop hesitating. What happened in the past wasn't going to change. All she could do was focus on the now.

Feeling a strange taste in her mouth, she spat it out and saw that it was blood. Artoria raised her head and looked at the crazed Knight and gripped the hilt of the sword with both hands tightly.

There was no room for errors on the battlefield.

"COME LANCELOT!"

-6-

Green lines crossed the air trying to hit the target that dodged them all.

"Hmm you're new I don't remember being together with the others" Scathach said as he landed on top of a building.

The cat-eared archer clicked his tongue. As much as she was at a considerable distance, Lancer could see her well.

"Don't worry, it won't last long" at least that's what Atalanta hoped.

"Oh what makes you think of that child" She spun the spear and backed it against the roof.

Scathach noticed a gigantic shadow looming over her. Turning around, the goddess finds the dragon Fafnir ready to devour her, but the creature is interrupted by arrows that hit his face creating a great exploration.

A smile appeared on Scathach's face.

So you're watching my back. For a moment I thought you'd let me do all the heavy lifting.

Arrows flew over the goddess's head only to be intercepted by metallic arrows.

Scathach advanced on the dragon Fafnir leaving the Archer protecting her back.

Turning just a red line to human eyes, the goddess pushed the dragon making it fall on top of the buildings, making them collapse.

Even with the violence of the attack, her spear was not able to penetrate the dragon's skin.

"Tsk" she knew from the stories that the dragon skin would be 'Impenetrable' making things difficult to deal with.

The woman was on top of the beast's stomach when it started to get up making it jump.

When Scathach hit the ground the goddess fell to her knees. Seeing a purple magic circle below her feet, the goddess saw that she had fallen into an enemy Caster's trap.

Arrows were falling on the goddess's head. The archer tried to intercept but it was not enough. The arrows caused a large dust of smoke.

As the smoke descended it showed that the arrows had hit the ground.

"You know, you should be more grateful"

"Thank you? I don't need your help"

The woman sighed at the attitude of the goddess. As the smoke cleared, there was Scathach and Maria atop a horse of light.

"Aren't you supposed to be with the Saint of the flag?" Scathach questioned.

"Well I was, but she wanted to take care of her own affairs" Marie said remembering the conversation with Jeanne.

"I should imagine"

Arrows clashed against arrows.

"Looks like they're excited" Maria said as she watched the two archers clash.

"It's not like…" Scathach stopped talking suddenly.

"Scathach?"

"Run… make that thing move, NOW!"

"What are you…" Maria looked back and saw what the woman was referring to.

The dragon Fafnir was staring at the two as if it were a piece of meat.

"No need to say it twice" that's how they started the horse to run with the dragon chasing them.

Explosions occurred to nearby buildings destroying them. There were two similar looking women.

"You are such an irritant, why don't you do me a favor and DIE AT ONCE making my life easier" the dragon witch gritted her teeth.

"Sorry, I can't do this. I won't let you destroy everything" Ruler said with a look of determination.

A husky laugh escaped the witch's mouth.

"Always the saint isn't. Acting like you're better than me, we both know you feel the same"

"Even if what you said is true, I can't let you continue with this madness" Jeanne looked her doppelganger in the eyes.

A blue light came from not so far away disintegrating a group of Wyvern.

"It's not like you could stop me anyway" the corrupted version of her said as she placed her hand on her stomach. A golden glow in the shape of the grail formed for a second.

!?

"Ah you finally noticed, I wondered how long it would take you to notice that. You're slower than you thought" A sardonic smile appeared on her face.

"So… it's you… the grail is you" Ruler said in surprise with wide eyes.

The witch began to clap her hands slowly.

"Congratulations we have a winner, she was right now to receive your prize" the servant of vengeance turned her head slowly to look at the servant ruler.

"Enjoy" a chill ran down Ruler's spine.

Jeanne felt as if the whole city was shaking. She swayed and swayed, making her lose her balance. Ruler looked at his doppelganger.

"What the…" she couldn't finish.

"I no longer have the patience for games. I will make this end as soon as possible."

Gigantic tentacles began to appear all over the city.

Martha and Elizabeth watched the monstrosity's birth in disgust as the Tarasque dodged the tentacles' attacks.

"Haaa gross, of all things had to fight people with tentacle fetishes" Cuchulainn was forced to go up into the buildings as the tentacles erupted from the ground.

Siegfried wasted no time when the monstrosity appeared; he energized his sword and struck the creature, causing a beam of light to appear in the heavens.

Half of the creature's 'body' was destroyed in half, only to start regenerating again.

"I'll admit I'm not enjoying this symphony," Mozart said.

Scathach and Maria watched the tentacles sprout from the ground as they fled from the dragon.

Both women said at the same time.

"Tentacles... why tentacles"

"Oh Jeanne, it hurts my heart to see you like this" a voice called attention.

!

"Gilles because you're helping this madness" Ruler said looking at his friend on top of the building.

"Ah my dear Jeanne, I am doing this for you" the reply surprised the woman.

"Help me? You think this is helping. LOOK AT ALL THIS" Ruler spread her arms out to demonstrate the situation she was in.

The man looked at her with sadness "Yes Jeanne, for you. You can't imagine my sadness when you let this monstrosity be done to you. So I'll do it for you, they have to pay for their sins" Gilles seemed more disturbed with each word.

"Gilles…" Ruler looked at the floor.

Arrows fly in the skies at extreme speed, exploding where the Caster was.

This surprised Ruler.

"You are too distracted, Ruler. Focus on the Battle" the archer's voice echoed throughout the place.

"Who dares… interrupting the long-awaited meeting haaaa" a purple shield had protected the man.

The servant of vengeance turned his head where the voice had come from.

"Hm what a waste, you would be much more useful on my side than theirs" The dragon brunette whispered and there was a strange expression on her face. But the Ruler had heard her.

"There is no chance for mistakes, just focus on the now. If you don't you will die" hearing the archer's words she lifted her head and looked at her counterpart.

"You're right. No time for mistakes, let's get this over with. Now I see you won't hear dialogue so the sword will be your only destination" Ruler unsheathed his sword.

"That I have to agree with. I'll love to impale you and be done with it" The servant of revenge did the same.

"Let me interrupt you for a second ladies. I think two against one doesn't seem very fair so I'm going to go nosy" Caster Cuchulainn appeared behind the Ruler out of nowhere as he smirked.

"How dare… you You" Cuchulainn smiled as his hood covered his face.

"If you're that angry, you can try to kill me. But I'm warning you, it won't be easy." His eyes twinkled for a second.

Gilles gritted his teeth.

"YOU FILTHY SINNER" The man screamed in fury.

And so the battle began.

-6-

Explosions and explosions happened knocking down buildings.

The battle between Saber and Berserker was brutal, if anyone was watching they wouldn't be able to understand what was going on.

Artoria is thrown into the wreckage of a house. The corrupted king adjusts her body in the air and lands on the wall.

The Saber makes a jump using the springboard wall causing it to collapse.

The Berserker can't react in time to counter what it is forced to block. The man was dragged away by the impact of the Saber that felt more like a projectile than a human.

"ARTHURRRRRRRRRRRR"

Artoria saw that there was no dialogue between them, combat was all that was left.

"Haaaaaaaaa" she dragged the servant of rage through house after house.

The Berserker holds her by the wrist and throws her in the air but Saber, predicting that the knight would do that, energizes her sword and with a turn in her body she delivers the blow creating a great explosion.

She landed on her feet seeing a smokescreen, but the man was not there. Saber looked up to see the Berserker bearing down on top of her.

Artoria raises her sword to block. The Berserker instead of attacking the sword stretched out his palm grabbing her face and burying it in the ground with violence.

"Grrr" a crater was created when Artoria's head collided with the ground.

The only thing left between the two was pure violence.

Artoria's golden eyes began to sparkle.

Using prana brust the corrupted king grabs Lancelot's wrist and removes his hand from her face. She delivers a punch so powerful that it shatters half of the armor on the Berserker's chest.

The Berserker goes rolling across the floor. The man used his fingers to dig them into the ground to make him end up in a pose looking more like a four-legged animal than a man.

Artoria's chest rose and fell breathlessly as she watched Lancelot, who glared at her.

She closed her eyes for a second and opened them as she caught her breath.

"ARTHURRRRRRRRRRRRR" the man screamed in fury.

Artoria sighed

"So be it" she raised the sword over her head.

"If that's what Lancelot wants… I'll give you what you want" An absurd amount of black prana began to accumulate in the sword. The Saber was covered in a black light.

"ARRRRRRR" he inched upwards.

"Excalibur…" she gripped the hilt of her sword tightly.

The servant of madness was just a few steps closer to her.

"MORGAN" she screamed the name of her noble phantasm.

And so everything went white for a moment then exploded in corrupted energy.

Atalanta was impressed with the enemy archer. Everything she sent was being intercepted, not giving the woman a chance to provide support.

What she found odd was that her enemy wasn't shooting arrows… he was shooting long projectiles made of metal. What did you do when the projectiles hit her arrows... the projectiles destroyed her arrows.

Watching the hooded caster press down on her runed caster, she made a choice.

"Maybe I can take down two birds with just one hit" Gilles gave the order to cover at all costs… but he didn't say that he would have to be careful about hitting the allies.

Fitting three arrows to her bow, the cat-eared woman readied herself. Powering the arrows to the extreme.

"Phoebus Catastrophe"

She shot at her Noble Phantasm, but something stunned her.

"Phoebus Catastrophe"

She saw her own Noble Phantasm collide with itself, nullifying it.

She was speechless and just watched in shock at what happened.

"In the name of Artemis… who are you?" she said looking at the place where the noble phantasm came from.

Explosions occur in the skies.

"Hmm I didn't expect the archer to be doing such a good job… well who am I to complain" he smiles.

"That archer could have killed Jeanne… I'll punish her after that" Gilles gritted his teeth.

"Forgot you don't have one later" the voice surprised the man when he noticed tree roots appearing in the place he was.

Gilles was forced to jump, but a Cuchulainn placed a rune in the air, knocking him to the ground.

"Bastard…" Cuchulainn kicked him in the chin, making him roll on the floor.

"You know for someone so skilled in magecraft, you suck at combat" he knelt next to Gilles.

That made the man grit his teeth. The tentacles that were nearby fell down crushing Cuchulainn.

"Die die DIE MISERABLE" he said wildly however…

The forest sage wasn't crushed, he was protected by a gigantic wooden golem.

"Like I said, horrible in combat" he grinned. And so the golem began to fight the creature that seemed from another world.

Ruler is hit with a punch to the face knocking her to the ground. She saw a metallic boot trying to crush her head.

The ruling servant dodges in time for its skull to be ripped open. Wasting no time, she takes her flag and tries to lunge at her counterpart, who does the same with her flag, making both collide.

The dragon witch grabs the handle of Ruler's flag and pulls it forward, The servant of vengeance extended a palm that was on fire towards her face.

Ruler seeing the attack that her counterpart prepared, she kicked her heel making her lose her balance and spurting the fire that came out of her hand into the air.

"Bitch this is my blow" she said in frustration.

"Just learning from myself" her chest rose and fell.

"Miserable…" Placing both hands on the ground, the witch causes a tsunami of flames to appear.

Ruler expertly spins the flag and places it behind the body in a combat pose.

"It won't be this time!" She spins around and swings the flag like a baseball bat. The flag was illuminated by a holy energy as Jeanne strikes a blow nullifying the tsunami.

The dragon Fafnir was hit by a blue light making him scream.

"Let's end this… creature" Siegfried faces his greatest enemy in life.

A house collapses next to the Ruler revealing Elizabeth with her spear embedded in the Wyvern's neck.

Martha was on top of a Wyvern ripping off its wings causing the creature to fall.

Red lines appeared in the skies attacking the tentacles from all angles.

Scathach lands hard on the wooden golem 's hand.

"You don't have to say a single word teacher" and so the Golem hurls the goddess at great speed into the air.

The god slayer goes at high speed hitting the tentacles. With her spear impaled on the creature she starts running, draws a rune that starts to glow and turns into a blue line following the goddess. The line turned red and started to incinerate the monster.

Scathach falls on Maria 's horse of light.

"Got you!" And so the two dodge the tentacles that were on fire and falling.

The dragon Fafnir accumulated magical energy which made its mouth and symbol glow, as it released a blue laser.

"I will not let that happen!" Mashu appeared with her shield blocking the beast's blow. The blow was so powerful that it threw her backwards but she adjusted her body and landed on her feet."

Siegfried seized the opportunity and attacked the beast. However, Fafnir noticed the man's advance and squeezed him with a blow with his right paw, causing the dragon slayer to be thrown violently to the ground.

Siegfried got out of the rubble while cleaning the blood in the corner of his mouth.

Really he is as tough as he remembered.

The smoke cleared revealing Artoria's sword in the Berserker's heart.

Arrows collided with the metallic projectiles.

The dragon witch watched as everything was going to ruin…

She was losing if it continued like this she was going to lose.

She blinked and noticed Gilles having a hard time holding his own against the hooded man.

Ruler advanced with his sword which made the servant of vengeance block with the sword but his mind was not there…

She would lose if she continued like this.

Arrows collided with projectiles.

She would lose…

The forest sage spins his staff and places it on the ground, causing the building where Gilles is standing to burst into flames.

She would lose...

The rest of the symbols on her back disappeared.

She would lose...

The dragon Fafnir felt a huge amount of prana in his body. The dragon began to take off in the skies.

?!

No… Siegfried knew what was coming, he prepared the sword and carried it so high over his head.

She would lose…

She… wouldn't… lose.

And then the day turned to night.

Maria looked up to the heavens and saw a green light rising and rising.

"That's not good…" Maria commented worriedly.

"She… intends to kill everyone including herself" Scathach said looking at the light in the sky.

"Thank you… my… king…" and with that the Berserker fell to the ground with a peaceful expression on his face.

Artoria just stared straight ahead…she couldn't look into Lancelot's face.

"I… I'm sorry… Lancelot"

"Lord Siegfried!"

A large amount of prana was channeled into Siegfried's sword.

"Balmung" shouted the Noble Phantasm's name.

The dragon Fafnir released a blast of energy causing it to collide with the noble phantasm of the dragon slayer.

A competition for dominance began.

The servants of Vengeance and Ruler fought as the world crumbled.

Watching everything happen from afar, the Archer was sitting on the roofs of a house.

He sighed "I wonder, was it worth it?"

"Grrrrrr" the ground began to melt from the heat that was emanating from the dragon slayer's blade. He didn't think he had enough strength to face the beast.

He was dragged and dragged. He felt two hands on his back trying to help him not to be pushed.

"Don't give up!" The symbols on Ritsuka's hand disappeared. The dragon slayer felt a large amount of mana coming to his body.

His noble phantasm grew stronger however…

"Get out of here is not enough… run away" even with the extra power he was still being overcome.

He felt other hands on his back.

Mashu joined her master "Sir Siegfried you can't give up now, everyone is counting on you" little by little they were pushed.

They were right… However, what could he do… Only a miracle could help him now.

The sound of a piano caught everyone's attention.

"Don't give up so fast my friend, you would have the courage to break these little girls' hearts" the dragon slayer felt more mana coming to his body.

And so the musician did his show. Augmenting and increasing your Saber's abilities.

Martha and Elizabeth look into her blue and green light.

Atalanta was sitting watching everything happen. She decided to follow the opposing Archer's example, after all there was no point in continuing, it was the end.

Both servants' swords were clashing with each other.

"It's the end," said the witch.

"I still have faith… no, it's not over" Ruler said looking his counterpart in the eyes.

"Always full of hope… thinking you're better… better than me… no everything will end here and now" one thing the witch was sure the end was near.

Gilles was trapped in the wooden golem's hand and covered in blood.

"SIEGFRIED!" Ritsuka screamed.

He said he wanted one more chance to fight so he would fight.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" using all the strength in his body he starts to step forward.

He walked and walked trying to do as much as possible to change the already defined situation.

I'm sorry… I'm sorry… I'm not strong enough… I'm not enough.

The clash was fierce. Even with so much help, the dragon slayer only managed to stop Fafnir from destroying everything. He grits his teeth as he takes another step forward.

Is it worth it ? The archer watched the group trying everything to survive.

He saw his master and Mashu trying to help the dragon slayer but it wasn't enough.

Is it worth it ?

He watched Ruler fighting her counterpart.

Is it worth it ?

The other servants just watched, unable to do anything to stop the dragon. Everything was in Siegfried's hand.

"Come on, fight Siegfried" Ritsuka put her back on his trying to help him.

Is it worth it ?

He saw Scathach and Maria on top of a house watching everything. But Scathach wasn't looking at the light show going on, she was looking at him.

Her eyes meet his.

Is it worth it ?

"Don't worry, I'll make your dream come true" a child appeared in his head smiling showing all his teeth.

The man's eyes closed, he opened his palm making a golden light illuminate the entire place.

His eyes opened and a sword appeared in his hand. It wasn't an ordinary sword, it was a holy sword. He held the sword in both hands and rested it on his shoulder as a large amount of holy energy was built up.

The Archer looked at the clash between Siegfried and Fafnir, both were equally in power. Only a miracle could help him.

So that's what the Archer did. A miracle.

Feeling the sword was at its limit, he braced himself.

"Ex…calibur" The Archer didn't shout, he whispered the noble phantasm name as if he didn't deserve to use it.

And so a miracle happened.

A large golden beam collided with the dragon Fafnir's blow, helping to change the course of the battle.

It surprised everyone. Nobody knew where the attack came from. Siegfried didn't ask, the man saw the miracle happen and wasn't going to waste it.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" Siegfried's Noble Phantasm and the Archer began to overcome the dragon.

The beam of energy from both advanced and advanced until it reached the dragon's mouth.

Fafnir was unable to counter both attacks. Energy surged into his mouth, overwhelming the dragon.

A huge explosion happened causing a massive wind wave.

"Oh I must say it's not ugly to look at" Atalanta watched the light show unfold.

Feeling the connection between master and servants broken, the woman decided to stop helping, the sooner it was over the better. So people would not suffer anymore.

The dragon witch's eyes widened as she saw the impossible. Fafnir was destroyed.

She blinked and blinked when the battle was over she had no more mana to spend she had used it all up.

"It's over… enough" the servant of vengeance slowly turned her head towards the Ruler.

A husky laugh came from the woman.

"Are you happy now… you must be after all you won. Ever the perfect lord's servant" the witch's left cheek was burned as if her body was burning.

"I understand you… after all I was there too… but people don't deserve to suffer for what others did"

Tears welled up on her face.

"Of course you would say that after all… your heart has no room for even hurt or revenge, only love, right?" She said sarcastically as her knees hit the floor.

It looked like the woman's body was incinerated bit by bit.

Ruler noticed this and approached.

"No… I've asked myself that a few times… I've wondered about doing the same as you" Martha, Elizabeth and Cuchulainn approached finally coming down from the top of the buildings.

"We've sacrificed so much just… to be repaid this way, it's like getting punched in the face" She kneels next to her counterpart.

Jeanne hugs her, but her counterpart just stands there.

"...Then why ?"

"Our mother… I remembered her and everything she taught. I did it for her… even though everyone hated me. Do you remember her? We didn't have much, yet she was always there sacrificing everything she had and didn't have for us, just to make us happy" the comment made the witch blink.

Mother ?

She blinked and blinked

"What are you talking about?" Ruler was surprised by what she said.

"I don't have those memories"

"What ?!" Ruler was forced to move away from the woman as she began to incinerate.

Strange this time it didn't hurt.

She looked into the distance and showed a sad smile.

"I found the answer… no, it wasn't worth it," she whispered.

Ruler was confused by her words.

I wonder if it were in different times we would be allies... Archer.

And so she turned to ashes.

The clatter of something metallic hitting the floor caught the Ruler's attention. She walked over to the object and held it.

"The grail…"

"I'm… sorry Jeanne…" she turned her head and saw Gilles lying on the bloodied floor.

"When I saw what they did to you, my heart filled with fury… as I knew your heart was pure I knew that none of this would happen… so I wished on the grail…" Gilles continued looking at the heavens.

"Forgive me Jeanne…" the man disappeared in specks of light.

It all made sense… this Jeanne wasn't real… she was a wish of her friend Gilles.

She did not exist on the throne of heroes.

She wasn't real.

A smile appeared on Atalanta's face. Even being summoned and following orders against her will, she was glad of the comeback.

"Who would have thought" and just like that she disappeared into particles of light.

"Jeanne, hey!" Ruler heard her master call out to her.

"Ah, it's you Ritsuka" the comment made the girl make a strange expression.

"Looks like you're not happy to see me…" she noticed that the Ruler was holding the grail.

"Ah you found it we've been looking for it since we arrived" the comment made Ruler stare at the object.

"For a long time you say" Jeanne says, staring at the grail.

"So you're still alive, what an unusual fufu" Ritsuka jumped in fright.

"Where have you been this whole time?"

The woman raised her eyebrow "Someone had to keep the people living in this town alive"

Ritsuka was embarrassed.

"I almost forgot about them" she turned her head in embarrassment and whispered.

"Serious ?" Kiyohime spoke with amusement.

Siegfried and the others approached. The dragon slayer had his hair a little shorter and his armor had melted.

"After all this, all I want is to lie down and sleep until the next century" said the sage of the forest.

"Don't be lazy, Satenta. Out of all of them you are the one with the least damage" she said, scolding him.

"Hey I'm mentally tired" he snapped which caused his teacher to give him a disappointed look.

"You'll be able to rest as long as you want when you get to Chaldea" Davinci's voice caught everyone's attention.

"Davinci finally showed up. You left us doing all the work" she yelled pointing at him.

The man put a hand over his ears to drown out the girl's loud voice.

"Replying. We can't contact you, every time we try to connect it drops" a click happened in the girl's head.

"The Caster"

"Caster?"

"Yes the enemy caster was preventing any mana from reaching us"

"That explains a lot, I see you managed to get the grail. Well I came to warn you that the singularity is disappearing and we are pulling you back"

"So soon we still…" Ritsuka felt her vision turning black, her body slumped to the ground.

"RITSUKA!"

"Senpai!" Mashu rushed to help her.

All the girl heard were voices that turned into whispers.

Author

Finally the chapter is over. It took a while because like I said college and I wanted to make it bigger than usual since it's an important part in the story. I still think it's not right in some points, something bothers me about it… much better to finish and not be satisfied than not to finish.

This was one of the reasons that made me question whether or not to post the chapter, with college I can't post as fast as I'd like so it will probably take longer than usual. my plan was to post in 3 to 4 days now it will be a little longer.

I'll try to focus on the servants' interaction before sending them to the next singularity... well there are many of them and it will increase while time will pass and each one with their have different personalities and desires. I find it fun. It's challenging to write them.

and I still think that my fight scenes are low in quality. I will try to improve in the next chapters.

ah remember, I would like your opinion on how boring this story is? Cool? Can I improve in parts? Is there any part that bothered you that you think doesn't fit the story? Please tell me. It helps a lot. Doing this will give me a sense of what I should be working on.

I will be waiting for the feedback.

see you in the next chapter.
