TROPIC NIGHTMARE

Looks like you've earned yourself a vacation. A permanent vacation.

Joining a Campaign game.

Starring: Zoey, Louis, Snowden, Francis

Louis: Alright, where do we go now?

Snowden: There are four places, two here and two in the mainland, where we can get a helo— helicopter. First is a news station not far from here. With the aerial views they take, there's gotta be a—

Zoey: Yeah, yeah, yeah, we know. Let's do it.

To try to keep Random Horde Events away, Snowden uses his Stealth Pistol and Combat Knife going first through the CEDA tents on the beachfront. Since the others no longer have primary weapons and the place looks like it had a large military presence, he lets them search around for new stuff the moment he saw a clear way out of the CEDA outpost.

Snowden: I found the way out of this maze of tents, guys. But, let's search around first. You're looking light on weapons.

Francis: Thanks, Snow'.

Snowden: I gotcha.

While Snowden scans the tents, Zoey finds a Sniper Rifle and some mags, Francis grabs a Combat Shotgun with shells and Louis acquires an AK-47 and a Pipe Bomb. Inside, the Army Ranger finds a Sticky Goo Bomb and more unsettling drawings.

Snowden: The hell is this giant blob? Walks at 3 miles per hour. Heavily resistant to bullets, fire and explosives. Picks up and eats survivors with ease like a chicken nugget. What the flying—

Louis: Snowden, we're done here. Come on.

Snowden: Got it. *takes drawings* What exactly do you have to gain from this, CEDA?

Unknown to the Army Ranger, his skeptical teammates were watching him while he reacted to the sketches and stored them in his bag. But with the zombies, old, new, known and unknown, still out there, they do not say anything, yet.

After readying Zoey, Francis and Louis, Snowden leads the way out of the CEDA tents. But not before dealing with a strange, new Uncommon Infected first.

[bang]

Francis: Ow! Louis!

Louis: That wasn't me!

Zoey: Wait, who was that?

[Glock Pistol fire]

Snowden: Get behind something solid!

[bullets ricochet]

[Glock Pistol clicks]

[Stealth Pistol fire]

Once the Army Ranger kills the shooter, he and his teammates realize it was a zombie that can somehow shoot a gun until it runs out of bullets.

Snowden: Jesus Christ!

Louis: Whoa! That's a new one.

Zoey: A zombie that can shoot guns at us? Now that's just unfair.

Francis: So, what do we call it?

Snowden: Florida Man. He looks more like an armed civilian than police or military. And in my opinion, if Floridians ever became zombies, this is how I'd imagine them.

Zoey: Florida Man it is then. Let's go.

Snowden: Check high and low, he can't be the only one.

With the new threat positively identified, the survivors move quicker in case more of them show up. And they are proven right as they fight more Florida Men armed with Glock Pistols, Submachine Guns and Hunting Rifles while backed by an Acid Spitter.

[Florida Man gunfire]

Zoey: Holy shit! Shit!

Snowden: Stay calm! I'll deal with them! Just watch our backs for Specials backing them up!

[Combat Rifle fire]

[Spitter Voice]

Louis: That's a Spitter!

[Spitter Spits]

[acid sizzling]

Louis: Ow! This shit hurts!

[Sniper Rifle fire]

[Spitter Death]

Zoey: Got her.

[gunfire stops]

Louis: I thought Spitters only spit out that purple sticky shit.

Snowden: Oh, right. There are two variants of the Spitter now. Green ones make acid that can kill and melt you into mush. So stay away from their puddles. And you're already familiar with the purple ones.

Zoey: Come on, Snowden! What the hell?!

Snowden: Damn, I'm terribly sorry for forgetting. *shakes head* The news station's just around the corner. Let's keep moving.

Upon reaching the News Station, the group immediately notices a Tank inside. So they get ready to fight it, with Francis kicking it off with his Molotov Cocktail.

Snowden: There's the news station.

[Tank Growls]

Snowden: Wait, stay away from the door. I hear a Tank. Francis, light it up with your Molotov.

Francis: You got it.

Snowden: *bashes double doors* Now! Shoot him!

Francis: Here comes the fire!

[Tank Yells]

[gunfire]

What they do not realize is that a Boomer is safely walking behind the Tank and extinguishing the fire on the ground and his zombie friend.

[Boomer Retches]

Francis: Boomer's putting out our God damn fire!

Snowden: We lost our fire support! Shoot the Tank faster! Argh!

Zoey: Argh!

[Tank Death]

Francis: Popped a cap in his ass!

Snowden: Good aim!

[Combat Rifle fire]

[Boomer Death]

Snowden: Boom goes the barf bag!

Louis: Safe house in the news station. Where do we go first?

Snowden: The rooftop helipad of this place first. Better to know now than later. While we're still sharp.

Inside, they check every room and take out a few amount of Commons until they reach the roof. Quietly killing a Florida Man with a Stealth Pistol upon arrival.

[Stealth Pistol fire]

Snowden: Clear.

Zoey: What the hell? Where's the chopper?!

Snowden nudges Zoey and points at the News Station's chopper, which has crashed into a high-rise building across the street.

Louis: Something horrible must've happened in there.

Snowden: Maybe. Well, that chopper's not an option. Off to the hospital we go. But let's rest for a few. Get to the safe house.

With the trip to Snowden's hospital of choice going to be longer than before, the survivors stop in the News Station safe house for a few hours.

[safe house door closes]

Snowden: Nice work, guys. I'm proud of ya.

We're safe... for now.
