A/N: This is officially the end of this story. The second book should be out by the end of the month-ish. I'll post an update chapter to this story when I post the second story, so if you're interested, stay tuned.

WANDA

Wanda walked beside Barry as dusk came, the sun had set a couple hours ago as the sky sank into its nighttime darkness. Barry carried Lily in his arms as he and Wanda entered a living room in the mansion. It was filled with several people, a calm and steady music for the party playing. People were spread throughout the entire mansion for the party. Most, if not all, of the mutants in the school were between their teens to their late twenties in age. Wanda and Barry arrived by the front entrance of the mansion as they met with Charles, who instantly noticed the pair with Lily. The professor turned his wheelchair around as he went over to the pair.

"Wanda, Barry, lovely to see the both of you here," Charles greeted the pair as he sighed before shifting to look at Lily. "Hello there, little one. How old is she?"

"Four months," Wanda spoke softly.

"Lovely one she is," Charles commented as he looked up at her and Barry. "I'm glad you were able to join us."

"Thank you, Charles," Barry said sincerely. "Not just for this, but everything. For bringing us here…for giving us a chance."

The smile that Charles gave in response was all that Wanda needed to see as he nodded. "I'm glad to…my friends."

"Is - is Hank alright?" Barry asked curiously.

Charles chuckled. "Ah, Hank, yes. He's feeling better. You gave him quite the right hook, though. No worries, we all understand your initial suspicion."

"Could I speak to him for a moment?" Barry asked.

Charles nods as he sips a bit of champagne from his glass. "Of course, follow me. I'm sure he's around here somewhere."

Barry turned to Wanda as he looked at her with an assuring look. "I'll be back soon…"

Wanda nodded encouragingly as she gave a small smile. "Okay, I'll see you soon."

Barry nodded back in response before he turned and followed Charles elsewhere in the mansion, Lily cooing in his arms before the three of them were out of sight and hearing. Wanda walked around the mansion as she passed through several mutants, who partied, drank, cheered, and laughed. All this normal, this chance for a life, it felt…displacing. To be around it, to be without Lily. Four months, Wanda and the rest of the Avengers had fought and fought. Wanda had protected Lily with her life, keeping her close, always staying awake at night to desperately ensure Lily's safety. Now here she was, safe in a mansion, away from it all…away from Lily. It felt right, it felt like being free, finally being away from the rest of the outside world as it was. But being away from Lily, from the infant child she held from the moment Jaina had released her last breath…it felt wrong. She would see Lily again, of course. But she needed to. Soon, hopefully.

"Wanda, hey."

Wanda whirled around as she saw the red-haired, twenty-six-year-old woman who had stood behind her.

"Jean…" Wanda spoke softly.

"I'm glad you could come," Jean held out her hand, her gesture seeming genuine. "Really."

"Thank you," Wanda shook her hand as the two of them stood by the main doors, which were opened as the pair turned and looked to the night sky.

"It's beautiful," Jean commented as she and Wanda stargazed. "It's like looking at a whole different world."

Wanda smiled slightly. "My brother and I, when we were children, we'd beg our parents to let us go up to our roof and stargaze every night after school."

Jean frowned in confusion as she glanced at Wanda. "Your brother?"

"He died…a few months ago," Wanda's smile fell slowly as she looked down, her arms crossed. "During Ultron."

Jean nodded. "I'm sorry…that must've been hard."

"It's been hard for all of us," Wanda replied. "These last few months. Especially Barry. I can't imagine any of us getting here or getting through this without him."

Jean smiled as she gently put her hand on Wanda's shoulder. "Well, whatever happens next, whatever's in store for us, we'll get through it. No matter what happens or how hopeless it looks."

Wanda smiled back as she nodded gratefully and in agreement.

Jean cleared her throat. "I should check on Professor Xavier, excuse me."

Wanda nodded as Jean left. She stood right outside the door as she looked out to the trees and the forest beyond the invisible force field that surrounded the Xavier Mansion. The night sky was filled with countless stars, some nebulae were even slightly visible. Wanda slid her hands into the sleeves of her thin sweater as she felt a nightly, chill roll in while she looked up to the night sky.

"Cold?"

Wanda turned and saw Barry approach her as he swayed a cooing Lily in his arms. He gestured for Wanda to hold her as she slowly slipped the baby into her embrace, holding her gently. Lily cooed in the layers of blankets around her as Wanda felt Barry take off his jacket and rest it on her shoulders as it wrapped around her body.

"Thank you." Wanda whispered as she and Barry stood side by side, looking up at the night sky.

Barry simply nodded back as they stargazed. "My mother and I used to take my telescope to the window of my room. Back on my earth, when I was a kid. We'd stargaze, discover constellations, even make some of our own."

Wanda chuckled. "You made your own constellations?"

Barry sighed. "If I remember correctly, I named one of them after myself…right, Allen-640."

Wanda laughed, it felt like the greatest feeling in the world. "How're the others?"

Barry nodded. "Settling in. It'll take a while, but I think that…maybe we can all get used to this."

Wanda turned to him as she glanced at Barry. "To not having to fight all the time? Or to living?"

"Both," Barry answered back. "And we need to. For us…for whatever it is we want to build into the new world. Charles was right, it starts here. It has to start somewhere, somewhere we've been looking, and this is it. It's what we set out for…what we promised ourselves."

Barry turned to her as Wanda looked into his brown eyes, he was practically gazing into her blue ones.

"Do you really think we can?" Wanda asked. "Us…all of us?"

Barry nodded confidently. "We have to."

"That's not what I meant, Barry." Wanda said.

"We can," Barry promised. "I know we can…together."

Wanda nodded in agreement as she and Barry looked down at Lily, the stars shining above them as they stood together in the Xavier mansion. The new world was finally theirs to begin making, the new world that they wanted for Lily, for her to grow up in. For all of them. As the two looked into Lily's baby eyes, one word left Wanda's lips.

"Together."

A/N: And that officially concludes the first story of this series. As I said, this series is probably going to be four to five stories long. I've got rough sketches for books two and three and just need to detail them a little more. As for books four and five, I haven't figured it out yet but I have ideas.

I apologize if this chapter felt a little short as compared to the others. I didn't have much to write or plan after the Avengers arrived at the Xavier Mansion but at the same time, I didn't want to cram it all into one chapter. Before I officially conclude this story, I have two announcements.

One: thank you all for the views, reviews, favorites, and follows, which have inspired me to keep writing and to continue.

Two: Until the last story of this series, there will be a "post credit scene" at the end of each last chapter. So here is this story's post credit scene.

"It is beautiful, is it not?" Death asked.

Death, Destiny, Dream, Desire, Despair, Delirium, and Destruction all sat around the grand hall they were in. Seven beings, each of them personifications, embodiments of the concepts they were named after. Together, they were the Endless. Beings and concepts that existed beyond all of The Cosmology, the seven of them stood around an illusion-made structure that represented the map of The Cosmology and even the Dark Multiverse.

"Beautiful indeed," Destruction said as he gazed at the map. "Life and creation beyond and yet…destruction awaits in its future."

"Oh do get over yourself, brother," Desire said with a groan. "We are each of us born with responsibilities and who we are. We are not free to choose to be other than what we already are. Isn't that right, Dream? After all, you were the one who said this to us, were you not?"

Dream remained silent as he eyed Desire with a glare before looking back to the map.

"Oh, it's so amazing, so beautiful!" Delirium squealed with joy the way a little child would.

"And here it is," Destiny approached as he held the Book of Destiny in his hands. "The stories of it all. Barry Allen. Wanda Maximoff. Eobard Thawne. Merely a few names of the first story."

"How many more are there?" Despair asked. "I've come to like this first story very much."

"Five," Dream responded. "And this is just the first story."

"It is truly unique these stories you've made…my writer." Destiny spoke as he and the rest of the Endless turned to see a teenage boy walking in casual clothes, his hands in his pockets.

"Yeah, well, what can I say?" The teenage boy he was, shrugged. "I'm an artist of stories. Isn't Dream the prince of them?"

"So you are the writer?" Dream inquired.

The boy looked at the illusion-made map of the entire cosmology. "Yeah…that's me. That little zero-dimensional, singular point with all its cosmology and stories. All of it written and made by me as I pleased…"

"Well, what about the next story?" Death asked curiously.

"This first story was one of these beloved 'heroes' and their new world rising," The Writer spoke as he turned the page in the Book of Destiny, beginning the next story. "Now hear the second story…one of downfall."
