Episode 23: Two Become One

July 12th 10:30 p.m.

Hong Kong. One of, if not, the most well known and popular locations around the world. Known for their skylines and massive skyscrapers, this great city of China has been famous worldwide for their delicious food, unique culture, and positive influences.

At nightfall within Liu District Charoite rapidly dashed through a large rooftop, and when reaching the edge she leaped high into the air. Descending down below she landed onto another rooftop before sprinting forward. From one rooftop to the next she kept going further on until she reached her last rooftop at the end of a street. Walking up to the edge of the building she got down onto one knee and spotted a large white truck casually driving by until it was pulling up toward a massive warehouse.

Raising her arm she planted both her index and middle finger next to her ear, "I've located the target."

"Good. Now proceed." A male voice replied on the other end.

"Notify us immediately on what you've found and we'll be right there. Engage only when necessary." A female voice added on the other end.

"Understood." Charoite responded.

Releasing both of her fingers from her ear Charoite stood up and walked up toward the edge. Slowly bending her knees she jumped into the night sky, accompanied with the moon behind her and dived toward the entrance of the warehouse.

Landing onto a light pole she took quick notice of several men in suits guarding the warehouse front entrance door. Turning her head there were snipers near the building and down below were more men in suits around various entry points.

'The Dark Dragon is getting paranoid. Good. This would've been too easy if they weren't. Time for these boys to take their naps.' Charoite thought to herself.

Jumping off of the light post she summoned out two Mikadzukis and latched herself onto an I-Beam. Climbing toward the top she quickly stopped and ducked her head. Slowly raising it she spotted one of the snipers. Climbing onto the platform she dismissed her kunais and approached the sniper. Going right behind him she rapidly wrapped her hand around his mouth before placing two fingers against his neck with her other hand. The sniper struggled and furiously shook himself, but as Charoite planted her fingers against his neck he slowly closed his eyes and dropped his rifle before being placed down on the platform.

Leaping off of the platform she landed onto another lamp post before jumping from it toward another and another until she reached the platform on the opposite side. Climbing up to the top she repeated her actions on the second sniper. Slowly placing him onto his back she backflipped toward the edge of the platform and dived down, landing on solid concrete.

Taking cover next to some debris she slowly peeked her head out at the men near the entry points.

'Two guarding the front. Two guarding the back. And let's not forget the last two on the roof and near the front entrance. Looks like I'll have to use some of my tools.' She thought to herself.

Placing a hand near her face her Gem glowed before it brought out a long-short pipe and ten darts. Loading them into the pipe she traversed toward the back entrance. Perching herself onto another lamp post she placed the pipe near her mouth. Opening her lips she rapidly fired two darts at the two men's necks, knocking them to the ground. Directing her eye above she jumped from the lamp post and grasped herself onto the brick building. Ascending to the top she looked at the two oblivious guards and fired two darts at their necks.

With the rooftop now secured she turned her eye to the remaining guards. Near the front entrance the guards were large and bulky with serious expressions across their faces. Placing the pipe near her lips Charoite blew into it, firing two darts at them. As they collapsed to the ground the guards near the warehouse front entrance took notice of this and quickly left their posts to check on them. Once they got close one of the guards dropped to the ground. The other guard looked at him and noticed the dart near his neck.

"Gao shenme gui?" The guard said quietly in Chinese.

Before he could reach for the dart Charoite appeared behind him, wrapping her hand onto his mouth and using her other hand to place two fingers against his neck. The guard wasn't quick enough to stop her as his eyes felt heavy before they closed and he dropped to the ground.

"Wan'an." Charoite said softly in Chinese.

Turning around she dashed toward the warehouse and leaped onto it's brick structure before making her way to the top once more. Now that security had been taken care of it was time for the main event.

Using her power she phased down into the building and landed onto an upper platform. Slowly walking up to the railing she looked down below to see what was going on.

On her right was a large bald muscular man wearing a nice black and white suit. Next to him was a beautiful woman with black hair accompanied with purple streaks in it, purple lipstick, a purple dress, and purple heels.

On her left were three men and a woman. The man in the middle wore a white suit with a white tie, white dress-shoes, and even had white hair. Next to his left was a man with orange shades, shirtless while only wearing a black blazer unbuttoned and black dress pants with black dress-shoes. Next to the center man's right was tall shirtless man with some strange metallic plating on the right side of his face, green cargo pants, and brown boots. The woman with them wore a yellow hoodie jacket while secluding her face, black jeans, and yellow sneakers.

At the center of the room was young woman on her knees. Her hands were locked in chains while her mouth was covered by a black cloth. Dry tear marks were visible near her eyes as she merely gazed at the ground.

"Sorry for arriving late. There were complications." The man in the white suit said as he and his associates bowed.

"Have you brought what we agreed on?" The large bald man replied with crossed arms.

The man in the white suit nodded as he snapped his fingers. Behind him his associates carried a large black case and walked toward the large man. Putting the case down the large man opened it and his eyes greatly expanded. With both hands he reached into the case and from it was a large silver mallet with the symbol of a dragon on it's sides.

"Perfect." The large man purred. "Here is your reward." He added as the woman in the purple dress walked up to the man in the white suit and brought up a large suitcase. Opening it there were dozens of one-hundred dollar bills inside. The man in the white suit grew a large smile as did his associates before taking the suitcase from the woman in the purple dress.

"Pleasure doing business with you. And believe me, that mallet is real and powerful. We've tested it ourselves." The man in the white suit said.

"Then you don't mind if I showcase a demonstration, do you? Just to make sure?" The large man replied.

"Not at all." The man in the white said with a nod.

Gripping onto the mallet the large man walked up to the young woman from behind and removed the cloth from her mouth. "Now...for going behind my back, betraying my trust, and for stealing from me, are there any last words to wish to say?"

The young woman turned her head to him. Her eyes formed a glare as more tears fell from them.

"That's what I thought." The large man replied.

He then got behind the young woman and raised up the mallet. However just as he attempted to bring it down he looked forward to see the man in the white suit's associates fall to the ground, except himself. The man turned his head from left to right as he took notice of this before he and the large man heard a loud thud. They along with the woman in the purple dress and the young woman turned their heads to see Charoite walking out of the shadows.

"Y-Your...your one of the Rainbow Gems. The Indigo Kunoichi." The man in the white suit said.

Without giving a response Charoite dashed forward. Leaping into the air she kicked the large man in the face, making him drop the mallet. Spinning her body she kicked the woman in the purple dress to the side before running up to the man in the white suit and kicking him in the stomach. Once he was down she went up to the young woman and broke the chains with her Mikadzuki.

"Are you okay?" Charoite asked softly.

The young woman's lower lip started to quiver as she rapidly shook her head. Falling to her knees Charoite wrapped her arms around the woman and pulled her close. Small sobs exited out of the young woman's mouth as Charoite softly caressed her hair. Unfortunately this time of comfort was short lived as the large man got up from the ground and picked up the mallet.

"How dare you!" The man yelled.

"How dare you!" Charoite yelled back as she separated herself from the young woman and stood up with an angry glare in her eye. "What kind of a man would kill their own daughter?! Even her own mother is allowing this. That is disgraceful."

Thar large man started laughing at her. "I don't care what you think is disgraceful. She deserves death, just like you." He added as he swung the mallet at her.

The mallet itself simply swung right through her. A gasp left the large man's mouth as he swung the mallet again, receiving the same results.

"There's been enough bloodshed from you and your partner." Charoite said as she dashed forward and hit large man's stomach with her elbow.

A loud gawk exited his mouth as he released the mallet from his hands. Covering his stomach Charoite spun her body and kicked him in the head, knocking him out.

The sound of sirens entered her ears before the front door entrance opened up with several cops rushing in toward the unconscious individuals and cuffing them.

July 13th 6:30 a.m.

As the sun was rising over the horizon Kameron stood tall against his opponent. Right in front of him was a being whose body was made entirely out of green crystals. His form was human-esque with sharp claws and it's head showcased two long sharp horns.

"So, what do you think, Z?" Kameron asked.

"To be honest, I can't believe it took you this long to finally let me out. However...I will admit, this body you've crafted isn't half bad." Z replied as he looked at his arms.

"Thanks. Now enough talk." Kameron said as he picked up a long-sharp blade. "We gonna do this, or have long conversations about life?" He added.

Z soon looked to his left and picked up his blade. "Don't ask stupid questions."

Kameron and Z soon sprinted toward one another and clashed blades. Separating themselves they charged at each other again, swinging their blades. *Clank* *Clank* *Clank* *Clank* *Clank* *Clank* *Clank*

Distancing themselves from each other Kameron dashed forward, gripping his blade tightly until he reached up to Z and spun his body before striking him. Reacting to his attack Z pulled up his blade, making it have contact with Kameron's before kicking him back. A few chuckles left his mouth as he ran forward, raising his blade high.

Gaining some footing on the ground Kameron quickly turned his head to Z coming right at him. Raising his blade Z began slashing wildly at him. His chuckles soon turned into mad laughter with every swing he put in, but despite that his attacks were getting deflected. Kameron narrowed his eyes as he watched him laugh.

'Figured he'd let himself loose a little. Can't blame him though.' Kameron thought to himself.

"What's wrong? Not gonna do anything?" Z asked through his laughter.

Once Z unleashed another slash Kameron deflected it and kicked him back. Sliding through the ground Z managed to gain some footing before turning his attention to his opponent. Kameron quickly burst toward them and gripping his blade even tighter he raised it high into the air before rapidly bringing it back down.

Z slowly dropped his weapon...and seconds later the upper half of his body fell onto the ground as did his lower half. Dropping his blade Kameron walked around and stood next to Z's head. Turning his head Z looked at him and soon after more laughter was released out of him.

"I'm impressed." Z said as his laughter slowly stopped. "You're getting stronger by the second."

"You were holding back." Kameron replied.

"Guilty." Z admitted. "But so were you. And honestly, I'm not sure when the perfect opportunity will come when we won't have to restrain ourselves anymore. But that day will come and when that happens you better let me have the driver's seat."

"We'll see. Though I wonder what our next step should be." Kameron replied.

"You and I both know the answer to that." Z told him. "I'm not so sure I'm ready for it. But...it would be interesting to try."

"Me too." Kameron replied as he lifted his leg next to Z's head. "Training is over." He added as his leg descended and crushed it.

With that taken care of he raised up his left arm and in turn Z's constructed body and shattered head were lifted into the air. Cracks started to form onto the body before they were broken into several pieces. The pieces levitated toward Kameron and began to go into different sections of his body. It didn't hurt or made him bleed as the shards just sunk deep into his skin until they completely vanished.

Picking up the two blade he placed them back into his Gemstone. Pulling out his phone he took notice of the time.

'6:30? Thought it'd be longer than that.' He thought as a yawn exited his mouth. 'Well. Since it's still early might as well grab some more zzz's.' He added as he turned around and left the arena.

July 13th 8:00 a.m.

Soft moans left Kameron's mouth as he slept. The pure, sweet, and soft comfortable bed mixed with the even softer pillow was pure heaven to him. He rubbed his head into the pillow as his lips stretched into a grin.

'Yeah... so soft. Feels like I'm on a marshmallow.' He thought to himself.

"*Giggling* Aww...I've missed hugging you like this too."

That voice... It was so...familiar...

A small groan exited his mouth as he slowly opened his eyes. As he did he soon noticed that his head wasn't placed on his pillow. His eyes ascended and soon caught a familiar face he knew. Looking at her he then looked at what his head was laying on and as everything was connecting together his cheeks started burning. He then pushed himself away from her, but as he did his body rolled over until he fell out of his bed.

"*Groans* Charoite?" Kameron said as he rubbed the back of his head.

"Good morning, little brother." Charoite replied with a soft moan.

"Why are you in my room? And why were you in my bed?" Kameron asked.

Charoite hummed as she crawled toward the edge of his bed. "I just wanted to cuddling with one of my brothers. Besides, you used love it whenever I slept beside you." She said as her legs swayed in the air.

"Yeah, when I was seven. But now it's kinda..." Kameron replied as he averted his eyes from her.

"Aww...are your hormones heating up?" She asked softly.

Kameron quickly turned his head to her as his cheeks burned even more. His mouth gaped as she placed a hand underneath her chin and showed a suggestive smile. Small stutters exited his mouth as he tried to say something to her...something to change the subject or dial it down a bit, but...honestly with a comment like that it was kinda hard to retort, especially toward his own sister.

Small giggles exited Charoite's mouth as she turned her body before placing her feet onto the carpet. "Okay, okay. As much as I enjoy teasing you I do have another reason why I came into your room."

The burning in Kameron's cheeks slowly stopped as he took a breath and looked at his sister.

"Things have been...kind of awkward between us. After we told you what the Corrupted were and you showing us...Z, I just wanted you to know that we didn't mean to lie to you about that. And...I was wondering, since you have a day off today, would you like to come to Japan with me?"

Kameron's eyes blinked at her. She was right...it has been a little awkward these past weeks. And...he hadn't really spent that much time with his siblings lately due to work, them having to work, or Gem-related issues. He did have his workout this morning...and he honestly didn't really know what else to do today, so...a little trip to Japan didn't sound so bad.

"Sure. I don't mind."

A small gasp left Charoite's mouth. Her lips slowly stretched into a smile as she placed a hand onto her chest. "Thank you. I'm gonna go ahead and get ready." She added as she stood up.

"Same." Kameron replied as his sister left his room.

July 13th 11:00 a.m.

Tokyo. The capital of Japan and the largest city in the country. The go-to place for those wanting to expand their horizons.

Speeding through the rail lines Kameron and Charoite sat together on a train heading for Shibuya. As they were seated there were a few eyes staring at them. They paid no mind to it as the stares were mainly towards Charoite and what she was wearing. She decided to go casual and wore a black T-shirt with a jean vest, small jean shorts with a black belt, and black tennis shoes. While Kameron wore a white T-shirt with two black doves in the center, blue jeans, a black belt, and white tennis shoes.

"Chui! Mamonaku Shibuya ni tochaku shimasu. Kanzen ni teishi suru made suwatta mama ni shite kudasai." Said the conductor.

After a while the train began to decelerate it's momentum as it reached the station. Once it came to a complete stop the doors started to open and the passengers began to leave. Charoite and Kameron got up from their seats and carefully maneuvered out of the train. As they walked onto the platform they went along toward the station.

Making it inside the duo walked toward the center of the area and there they spotted a woman who stood up at the sight of them. The woman had long black hair and red eyes. She wore a collared white shirt with black jeans, a belt, and wore white shoes. She also had on a small amount of red lipstick and makeup.

Charoite instantly jogged up to her and wrapped her arms around her, though their embrace was brief.

"Misaki-san, mata oaidekiteureishidesu." Charoite said joyfully.

"Kimi mo." Misaki replied with a kind smile. She then turned her eyes toward Kameron. "Kore wa daredesu ka?"

"Kon'nichiwa. Watashinonamaeha Kamerondesu. Watashi no Charoaito no ototodesu." Kameron replied as he bowed to her.

A light gasp left Misaki's mouth as she covered it. She slowly removed her mouth as her lips stretched into a smile, "Anata no Kameron?"

"Hai." Kameron replied.

Misaki soon walked up to him and took both of his hands into her own, " Yoyaku deaimashita! Anata no imoto wa watashi ni anata no koto o takusan hanashite kuremashita."

Kameron soon turned his head to his sister as she grinned before looking back at Misaki, "Jozu... Iyoiyo oaidekiteureshidesu."

A small giggle left Misaki's mouth as she released Kameron's hands. Another gasp left her mouth as she pulled out her phone, "Ima ikanakereba narimasen. Ani ga watashitachi o matteimasu."

Both Charoite and Kameron nodded as Charoite took Misaki's hand into her own.

July 13th 12:00 p.m.

Yoyogi Park. One of the largest parks in Tokyo. A great place to be on a sunny day, especially during the summer.

Entering the park Kameron, Charoite, and Misaki walked up toward a young man sitting on a large blanket with various small baskets near him. The young man had short black hair and red eyes. He wore a white collared shirt with black dress-pants, dress-shoes, and a silver watch. The young man took notice of the trio coming to him as Misaki sat next to him while Charoite and Kameron sat across from him.

"Kameron. Ani no Daisukedesu." Misaki introduced.

"Kon'nichiwa. Hajimemashite." Kameron replied as he bowed his head.

The stern expression on his face, Daisuke hummed and nodded his head. "Onesan kara kiita koto ga arimasu." He added.

"Watashi mo." Kameron replied. "Kanojo wa anata to anata no imoto ga itsumo komyuniti o tasukeru no ni isogashikatta to watashi ni iimashita."

Daisuke's eyes expanded at Kameron. He blinked a few times before his lips slowly stretched into a smile. "I am impressed. I can see that Charoite has taught you well."

A small gasp exited Kameron's mouth as his eyes expanded.

"Surprise! We've spent some time in America and learned a few things too. And your Japanese is very good." Misaki said with a smile.

A small smile stretched across Kameron's lips. Soon after Misaki and Daisuke began to open up the small baskets and within them were some of the most delicious foods Kameron had ever witnessed. Curry, Onigiri (rice balls), sushi rolls, Tonjiru (Pork Soup), and last but not least Taiyaki (Fish-shaped cakes). Oh...Citrine would devour everything if he got the chance to witness this.

Everyone clapped their hands. "O shukuji arigatogozaimasu."

Digging in Kameron went toward the curry first. Mixing the rice with the meat and vegetables he pulled up a small amount of it and blew. Opening his mouth he placed the filled spoon in it and closed it. A small moan left his mouth as he chewed before swallowing. His lips stretched into a large grin as he dug into the curry more.

'This is so delicious!' Kameron thought.

Charoite and the others looked at him as he enjoyed the food. Not often did he experience other cuisines outside of the country, but when he did it was truly an experience to go through. More happy moans left his mouth as he went toward the Onigiri and sushi. He couldn't help but touch his cheek, feeling the warmth of the food in his mouth before they went straight into his stomach.

"You see, brother? Having a picnic was a great idea." Misaki cheered as she ate.

"I can see that." Daisuke replied as he looked at Charoite. "I am glad to see you again, Charoite. How are you?"

"I'm doing well. I just finished an investigation last night. It was a bit difficult to look into, but we've managed to solve it before it was too late." Charoite replied as she took a bite out of some sushi. "I'm happy to see you too, especially Misaki." She added after swallowing. "So how is your job going?"

"We are doing well. So far the community is looking a lot better than it use to be. Yesterday we've brought in a family who just lost their home and I've helped the husband get a new occupation as well as getting their children into school. They are doing a lot better than before. And the wife has become the head chef of our kitchen." Daisuke replied as he sipped some tea.

"That's amazing." Charoite cheered before turning her eye to Misaki. "And how are you at the University?"

A small groan exited Misaki's mouth as her cheeks started to puffed. "It is so difficult. *sigh* There are times when I don't understand the questions or what the professors are explaining. But I've been staying up all night to figure it out. And soon...I'll finally achieve my dreams of becoming a doctor." She added.

"You'll make it." Kameron said as Misaki turned to him. "You'll be an amazing doctor."

"Thank you, Kameron. However, I still miss my high school days. And trust me, college isn't going to be any easier." Misaki replied.

"I'm sure I'll feel you're pain when I get there." Kameron said.

The two shared a laugh as they went after the Taiyaki. A short breeze flew by with several cherry blossom pedals dancing in the wind. The quartet looked to see more of them dancing and flying in the bright sky. Each of their eyes expanded at the sight of them. The sensation was...peaceful. Moments like this were so rare to come by, but when they happen it was like the world stopped and allowed you to witness one of it's breathtaking events.

July 13th 1:30 p.m.

A sigh of happiness left Kameron's mouth as he slowly rubbed his stomach. "That was very delicious. Thank you so much."

"You are welcome." Daisuke replied. "Charoite. May I speak with you in private?" He added.

"Sure. Is something wrong?" Charoite asked.

Daisuke didn't respond as he stood up and his stern expression returned. Charoite also stood up as they walked away from the others. They walked several distances away until they reached a large pond with a large circular railing.

"I understand you came here to see my sister and me, and it was a pleasure to meet your brother. However, I require your help." Daisuke said firmly.

Charoite turned her head to him. Her eye slowly narrowed at him, "We've talk about this, Daisuke. I can't return. I do admire what you're doing, I really do, but I can't go back. And you are very lucky that Tokyo's police hadn't called me about any usual activities. Haven't the clans already made peace?"

Daisuke nodded as he looked at her. "We have. However...last night me and Misaki returned to the temple and almost all of our disciples were slain." He explained, earning a gasp from Charoite. "One was barely alive and we've managed to help her get to a hospital. As she recovered she told me the one responsible was a member of the Yaban Kiba Clan wielding a blade covered in a dark aura." He added as his hands rolled into fists.

'A blade covered in a dark aura...' Charoite thought. As the thought swirled in her mind her eye soon expanded. "Oh, no." She said softly.

"What's wrong?" Daisuke asked.

"I know what kind of blade they're using. I sealed it away long ago when I was with your ancestors. Me and them have only used it against those with evil in their hearts, but I hid it away when one of your ancestors was corrupted by it. It's too dangerous to be used. The more a person uses it the more corrupted they become and the stronger the blade becomes. If the Yaban Kiba Clan actually has it then we have to stop them." Charoite explained.

"Does this mean you will return?" Daisuke asked.

Approaching him Charoite took his hands into her own as their eyes locked. "Just this once. But what about my brother? I've never told him much about my past and it is against the rules for outsiders to know the existence of Omoiyori Tatsumaki." She said firmly.

"How skilled is your brother?" Daisuke asked.

"No! I cannot allow him to come along. He is very skilled, but you know the reputation the Yaban Kiba have and what their methods are. He's been through too much and it would hurt me if he knew what I use to be." Charoite replied strongly.

"You will have to tell him, Charoite. It is none of my business, but I've had to tell Misaki the truth when she was of age. There was tension between us for a time, however it was not enough for our family to break apart. If your brother loves you deeply then you must tell him the truth, because if one day he discovers us and you haven't told him then the cracks will deepen. As the new head of the clan I will allow an outsider in just this once. Because those monsters must be stopped and we require more help." Daisuke said strongly.

Charoite's eye widen at what Daisuke said. She just told him why she couldn't tell Kameron much about her early years on Earth and yet he's encouraging her to tell him the truth. Finding out about the Kindergartens was one thing and meeting Z was another, but...this? It wasn't even recorded in the Rebellion Book. How was he going to react about this? This was suppose to be a calm and peaceful day for the both of them and now...

Closing her eye Charoite released Daisuke's hands and sucked in some air through her nose before exhaling it out. Reopening her eye she turned her head toward her brother talking to Misaki.

"Fine. I'll do it. However, this will be the one and only time, okay?" She said seriously.

"I understand. And I hope I haven't damaged anything between us either." Daisuke replied.

"You haven't. I'm his big sister. It's my job to protect my family however I can. And there is much about me I don't want him to know, but now...he'll have to know." Charoite said as she walked back to her brother and Misaki.

July 13th 2:00 p.m.

The picnic was now over and with it Kameron followed his sister and the Yuki siblings back to their home in Hiroo, Shibuya.

Reaching the apartment complex the quartet walked inside and removed their shoes before entering the living room. The living room had a lot of space in it with a large window and curtains at the far end, a large clock on the wall to the right, various statues standing side by side near the kitchen, and three large couches with a long bronze table at the center.

Taking their seats on the couches Kameron faced his sister and the Yuki siblings. An uneasy vibe took place in the atmosphere as silence gripped onto them with the only sound in the background being the clock ticking.

"Kameron," Charoite began as she intertwined her hands together. "What we're about to tell you can never leave this apartment, okay. No-one can know."

"Okay. What's going on?" Kameron replied.

Tightly gripping onto her hands Charoite shut her eye tightly as she gritted her teeth. Her eye then shot open at a feeling on her shoulder. Turning her head she looked at Misaki who gave her a worried expression. This somewhat eased her, but not enough to quell her worries. She then turned her head back to her brother. It was time.

(Many Years Ago)

The Fourteen Clans. They were known from the shadows as the most powerful and skilled ninjas in all of Japan.

Kori Kuma. Kaen Ryu. Yami Karasu. Kenmuri Akuma. San Hachurui. Shinpi-Tekina Tamashi. Arashi Kamisama. Chikyu Sheka. Omoiyari Tatsumaki. Yaban Kiba. Chujitsu Kishi. Azamuku Buredo. Shinku Shi. Samui Shinzo.

Each clan live in different sections of Japan and harbored a deep hatred toward one another. Betrayal. Deception. Lies. A plethora of reasons for their hatred against each other could be any of these.

At times they would clash, even going as far as to slaughter the entirety of one's clan, but one survivor would remain and as time would pass the clan itself would return even stronger than before.

Omoiyari Tatsumaki, the Compassion Tornado were best known as the greatest thieves. Focusing more on giving back to the people and stealing from the rich and corrupt. At times they would clash with the other clans and during desperate times they had no other choice but to use their secret weapon. A blade that was discovered upon the battlefield of the Great War. The Tamashi no don'yoku-sha.

This very weapon laid waste toward those that threatened the Omoiyari Tatsumaki and those that harmed the innocent, but the power of the blade came with a disturbing cost. The head of the clan was driven mad and rampaged across Japan, killing anyone that got in the way. It was only thanks to the Indigo Kunoichi that this terror had come to an end. And from that day the clans had put their differences aside and made peace while agreeing to help one other, but only when necessary.

(Present Day)

The clock ticked in the background as Charoite concluded speaking. Kameron stood completely still and blinked as she finished. His sister had told him she had taught others her ways of fighting when he was younger, but he never knew she was apart of a clan, let alone knowing there was more than one residing in Japan. As he looked at her water started erupting out of her eye until it fell down onto her cheek.

"I'm sorry. I didn't want to tell you about this, but you needed to know. You've been through too much and I've tried my best to be your big sister, but...I can't always be there for you. And when you told us the truth and broke down I...I..."

Charoite couldn't finish as more tears fell from her eye before she covered her mouth. Small sobs left her mouth as she cried.

Kameron closed his eyes and exhaled some air out of his mouth. "Misaki. Daisuke. May I some privacy with my sister?"

"Of course." Daisuke replied as he and his sister walked out of the living room.

As they left Kameron stood up and walked over to Charoite before sitting down next to her. Raising his hands he placed onto to Charoite's, slowly removing them from her mouth. He then raised a hand toward her face and wiped away her tears.

"I'm not mad." He said softly.

Charoite blinked at him. "Y-You're not mad?"

Kameron shook his head. "I was mad about the Corrupted because it was personal and what you're telling me just helps me understand you more. You try the best you can, all of you do, and that's enough for me. I just want to be in the loop about what's going on right now and you don't have to tell me things that are too personal if you choose not too. And no matter what it is, it won't change how I feel and think about you and the others. You're my sister, and I will always love you."

Charoite's eye lightly widened at him. She was expecting an opposite reaction...but...this was a lot better than what she thought it would be.

"And besides...I always thought you were awesome." Kameron said, averting his eyes as his cheeks turned red.

"Are you just saying that to help me feel better?" Charoite questioned.

"N-No. I-I mean it." Kameron replied as he looked at her. "There are many things about you that make you...well...you."

"Like what?"

(Song Begins)

Kameron:

I thought

There's nothing like your smile.

Very genuine, gentle, and real.

I thought

You always knew how wonderful that smile could make someone feel.

I know

Whenever we hangout you love to shop for new style jeans.

And I noticed how you love to check out those new cover magazines.

But I kept it all inside my head.

What I saw I left unsaid.

And though I wanted to I couldn't talk to you.

I couldn't find the way.

But now I'm here to say.

I want to tell you!

Tell you everything I see.

I want to tell you that you're always apart of me.

Let's never be a million worlds apart.

Here and now, let's make a brand new start.

I want to tell you!

I want to tell you!

"Is..that really true?" Charoite asked.

Kameron nodded.

"Well...there are things I like about you too." She said.

"Like what?" Kameron asked.

Charoite:

I thought you look really cute with your spiky green hair.

And I've always loved the way you draw and pretend the whole world isn't there.

But I kept it all inside my head.

What I saw I left unsaid.

I want to tell you!

Tell you everything I see.

I want to tell you, tell you how much you mean to me.

Both: Let's never be a million worlds apart.

Here and now, let's make a brand new start.

I want to tell you!

I want to tell you!

Charoite: And didn't mean to make such a great divide.

Kameron: You always seem so far away.

Charoite: Never again will we make this distance wide.

Kameron: I'll never go away.

Charoite: I'll always say...I love you.

Kameron: I love you.

Both: I love youuuuu... I love youuuuu...

Charoite: Let's never be a million worlds apart.

Here and now, Let's make a brand new start.

Both: I'll always tell you.

I'll always will.

(Song Ends)

They both wrapped themselves in each others arms. Their lips slowly stretched into smiles as they held each other. The comfort of a sibling embracing another felt...nice and calming.

As they held each other a white light and a indigo light illuminated their surroundings. Their eyes shot open as they lightly removed themselves from each other, but never letting go. They both took notice where the lights were coming from, but as their eyes were locked their smiles returned. Charoite raised an arm and moved Kameron's goggles toward his neck. Slowly moving forward their foreheads made contact as their eyes closed and the light shined even brighter until they were both consumed by it.

Misaki and Daisuke exited out of a room noticing the light and rushed over to the living room. Covering their eyes from the shear brightest the two stood in place, not knowing what was going on, but thankfully the light started to dim and fade.

As the light vanished the Yuki siblings removed their hands from their eyes, however as they did their eyes instantly expanded. Sitting on their couch there was a single woman. She was light-skinned with short indigo hair and a large bang covering the right side of her face. Her visible eye had purple pupils and irises. She had Kameron's goggles around her neck, plus his Gemstone on her right wrist and wore a black T-shirt with white doves around the center of her chest, dark blue jean shorts with a belt, a dark blue vest, and black and white tennis shoes.

Turning her head she locked her eye onto the Yuki siblings. Her lips slowly stretched as she stood up from the couch and walked over to them.

"W-Who are you?" Misaki asked.

The woman smirked, "That's a really good question, Misaki." She said, earning a gasp from Misaki. "However, you and your brother are more concerned about the whereabouts of Charoite and Kameron. Correct?"

"Yes. Have you done something to them?" Daisuke asked.

"No. I am Charoite and I am Kameron. More specifically, they created me. I have their memories, yet thoughts of my own. And this body..." The woman said as she placed her hands onto her hips before slowly going toward her stomach and up toward her chest, "I...I can't believe her wish actually came true."

"What are you talking about?" Misaki asked worriedly.

Removing her hands from her body the woman looked at the siblings and narrowed her eye, "That's not important right now. The matter at hand is to stop the Yaban Kiba Clan and retrieve the Tamashi no don'yoku-sha."

"At the very least, can you tell us your name?" Daisuke asked.

"Iolite." The woman answered without a second thought.

July 13th 9:00 p.m.

As the crescent moon shined in the night sky Iolite, Misaki, and Daisuke ran across a large rooftop and reaching the edge they jumped into the air. Descending they made it toward another rooftop before sprinting ahead. As they ran Iolite felt a strange beating inside of her. The beating grew rapidly with every step she took alongside a strange sensation that pushed her more and more. It was her first time being brought into existence and what she was feeling made her lips stretch into a grin.

Leaping toward another rooftop the trio stopped near the edge and fell onto one knee. Down below near an alleyway there was a large group of Kunoichis wearing light purple clothing. The leader had the Tamashi no don'yoku-sha in her hand as it glowed a dark aura around it's blade. No more than six of them, approaching a small gang of street punks.

"Uwa a! Kore wa do iu kotodesu ka?" The street gang leader as he and his crew slowly back away.

"Watashi no ha wa kufukudesu." The Yaban Kiba leader purred. "Sore wa anata no chi o setsubo shimasu."

The street gang soon found themselves backed into a corner. Fear shown in their eyes made the Yaban Kiba moan as the others pulled out the clan's signature weapon: the sai. Just as they got in close they stopped in their tracks when a kunai struck the ground in front of them.

From above Iolite, Misaki, and Daisuke appeared.

"Za Omoiyari Tatsumaki?" The Yaban Kiba leader said.

"Taino-sha. Eria o hanareru." Iolite said firmly.

The street gang didn't respond, so Iolite turned her head to them, showing a glare. That was more than enough for them to run for the hills.

"Buredo o kudasai." Misaki said firmly, raising her arm out.

"Anata ga sore o nozomunara, sore kara kita sore o motte itte kudasai." The Yaban Kiba leader replied, raising the blade.

"Onigaishimasu. Abunaidesu." Daisuke said firmly.

The Yaban Kiba chuckled at them.

Iolite sighed as she stepped forward. An indigo aura soon surrounded her body while her hair began to flow. Raising her right arm both of her Gemstones began to glow. From them Venganza emerged from her wrist while Mikadzuki emerged from her right eye. Both weapons levitated in the air before they both were engulfed in an indigo light and slowly aligned themselves with each other. Once they touched a new weapon was born, a katana with a indigo sheath, a white hilt, and a diamond shaped guard.

"Kore wa watashi no Koshokuna Hoyodesu. Kore ga yuiitsu no keikokudesu." Iolite said firmly, gripping onto the katana before placing her other hand on the hilt.

The Yaban Kiba gripped the Tamashi no don'yoku-sha and dashed forward. Iolite closed her eye, taking in some air into her nose and exhaling it out. Her eye soon shot open as she appeared behind the leader in a flash. The leader stood completely still, like she was frozen in place. Everyone watched as the leader dropped the blade. Soon after she dropped to her knees before falling to the ground.

The rest of the Yaban Kiba gasped before they charged toward Iolite. Misaki and her brother stepped in, and in a flash each Yaban Kiba fell to the ground.

Turning around Iolite dismissed her Koshokuna Hoyodesu. Raising her left arm she released a long indigo crystal tendril and grabbed the Tamashi no don'yoku-sha. Pulling it back she placed the blade next to her Gemstone eye and absorbed it in. Placing a hand onto her chest she released a sigh of relief.

'Never again will this cursed blade harm anyone else.' She thought as she turned to the Yuki siblings.

End of Episode 23.

I'm sorry this is a lot longer than my recent episodes, but I felt that this was special, so I wanted to extend it. And because of the debut of Iolite.

Hope you all enjoyed it. This took a lot out of me.

The song here is called If I Could Tell Her from Dear Evan Hansen. I do not own it.
