Episode 25: Raw Power

July 25th 11:50 a.m.

Atlas Demolition. If there was ever a building that needed to be thrashed, bashed, smashed, crushed, or wrecked, then this is the company for you.

Today at Destiny City Augustine Tower is scheduled to be taken down. The CEO and founder of H.H.D. (Human Help Department) Bailey Rebecca Augustine was exposed for human trafficking. She has been detained and has received a twenty-year sentence to Jackson Penitentiary. News of this information has already been released to the public, but information on her actions and her reasoning for them are classified until they can be made public.

Entering the first floor of the building Citrine walked ahead and stopped toward the very center. All around him was...nothing. Desks, printers, computers, phones, all of it was completely gone. If this building was bought before getting contacted by Atlas Demolition then the newbies would've gained the perfect opportunity to make as many changes or remake the area anyway they wanted. But too bad they weren't quick enough.

"Boss. Everything is clear." Citrine said to his walkie talkie.

"Are you sure?" The boss replied on the other end.

"Uh-huh. There isn't anyone here. I've checked the building from top to bottom three times." Citrine answered.

"Okay, good. Do what you do best." The boss replied.

Letting go of the button on his walkie Citrine balled both of his hands as his Gemstone began to glow. Descending his eyes his barbarian hammer slowly came out of it before he placed his hands onto it's grip.

"Dhara. We're gonna have another fun day today." Citrine said to his hammer.

As his lips stretched into a smile Citrine took a big stomp forward and slammed his hammer onto the concrete. Large cracks began to erupt and traverse forward, getting bigger and bigger before reaching the wall at the far end as well as the ceiling; breaking a small section of it apart. Increasing the grip on his hammer Citrine's Gemstone started glowing while his entire body was covered in a large orange aura. Bending his knees Citrine slowly lowered himself before he leaped into the air.

Floor after floor he smashed his way through each and every ceiling. One after the other they instantly broke apart as he continued rising to the top.

Reaching the fiftieth floor Citrine raised Dhara above his head as he was dropping down and slammed it right onto concrete floor. More large cracks began to form from the single strike. Around him a large oval shaped platform was forged from the massive cracks around it. Soon the entire platform began to fall, crashing into each floor below it. Once it reached the first floor Citrine leaped as high as he could to repeat the process on the other side of the floors.

Reaching the first floor again the aura around Citrine slowly disappeared as his Gemstone stopped glowed. "So far, so good." He said out loud. "Time to wrap this up." He added as he slowly lowered him again.

Leaping high into the air he made his way toward the fiftieth floor and ascended once more, breaking through the glass skylights. As he was airborne he slowly began to fall down below and smash Dhara through the middle portion of the floors. Further and further he descended as each floor began to collapse. Little by little every single floor fell on top of each other as Citrine made his way back to the first floor. Wasting no time he dashed forward, breaking through the weak and fragile wall as the entire building broke apart.

Turning around he placed Dhara onto his shoulder and wiped the very edge of his nose as he smirked. Augustine Tower was once a promising structure to help those in need. Now, it's nothing more that a large pile of rubble and concrete.

Citrine turned around again and walked toward the edge of the safety zone. As he got closer his eyes greatly expanded at the sight of his brother Kameron who had a massive chest next to him. But he wasn't alone. Next to his brother was a tall muscular man with short black hair and brown eyes. He had a thick mustache with a puffy beard and sideburns. The man wore a white button collared shirt with a red tie and black dress-pants, black dress shoes, and wore a yellow hard hat. What was most interesting about the man the most was the bear symbol at the center of the tie.

"Ah. Citrine. You do wonderful job today." The man said with a Russian accent.

"Thank you, Mr. Dragunov." Citrine replied. His eyes turned to Kameron, "What are you doing here, Kameron?"

"You forgot your lunch again. So I thought to bring it to you while I'm taking my lunch break." Kameron replied, tapping the chest.

Citrine's lips stretched into a smile as he dismissed Dhara and stepped over the safety line. "Is there another building that needs to be crushed?" He asked his boss.

Mr. Dragunov chuckled as he approached him, "No. I have not received other calls. For now you take break. I will tell you more building to be crushed when you return."

Citrine nodded as he picked up the chest and walked away.

July 25th 12:00 p.m.

Near the destroyed Augustine building Citrine and his brother made their way to a small park. Once there they found a large unoccupied area before Kameron stomped his foot on the ground, creating a large table and chairs out of crystals. Taking their seats side by side Citrine opened up the chest and his mouth began to water while his eyes admitted sparkles in them.

Inside the massive chest was a real treat. On the far left corner was large portion of curry and rice while below it was some Onigiri and beef stew. On the far right corner was a big portion of Gumbo and on the bottom was some Parmesan Chicken and pasta. Then...at the very center of these dishes was a large slice of strawberry cake.

"Did mom make this for me?" Citrine asked.

"Actually...I did." Kameron answered. "I figured you'd like a little bit of everyone from the past couple of weeks."

Citrine soon turned his head to his brother before taking his hand and pushing him close to his side. "Thank you, brother."

"You're welcome." Kameron replied, looking up at him. "You better start chowing down before it gets cold."

Letting go of his brother Citrine picked up a large spoon at the edge of the chest at started eating. Going for the Gumbo first he grabbed a big spoonful and placed it into his mouth. Happy moans left his mouth as chewed before swallowing. Turning his eyes he then went after the curry and used his other hand to grab the Onigiri, putting both dishes into his mouth at the same time.

Kameron smirked at his brother enjoying his lunch. Raising his right arm he brought out his own lunch. Beach City Fries' Special: Chili Cheese Fries with a side of Apple slices, a large bottled water and a small brownie pizza pizza made by the Pizza Sisters. Kiki and Jenny have really outdone themselves with it.

Without any delays he went straight toward the Chili Cheese fries. The pure combination of the hot chili mixed with gooey cheddar cheese and fresh potato fries placed in his mouth made Kameron moan with a smile. Oh man, this was pure heaven. Next were the apple slices, courtesy of Apple County. The freshest apples ever picked and served. No other fruit could come even close to it's juices and ripe flavor. A few more fries eaten he grabbed his bottled water and drank a good portion of it. Gotta stay hydrated after a morning workout.

As Citrine devoured his lunch and went after the strawberry cake he couldn't help but glance over at what his brother was eating, especially the brownie pizza.

"Brother." Citrine said, gaining his attention. "Can I have a slice of your pizza?"

"No way!" Kameron instantly answered. "You have your desert and I have mine. You practically begged Raphael and Julia to give you another slice, plus I ain't sharing."

Citrine groaned and pouted, "C'mon, just one slice? I'll go to the Pizzas next time for a whole pie. Please, little brother?"

Taking a bite out of his last apple slice Kameron looked over at Citrine, who showcased him his famous pouting lip. Watching it twitch made him a little hesitant. It wasn't as powerful as Lepidolite's eyes or puffy cheeks, but...it was very effective sometimes.

Letting out a sigh Kameron made a small blade with his hand and made a large slice out of his desert. Raising it up he handed it to Citrine before his big brother placed it next to his cake and ate them both at once.

One slice gone wasn't all bad as Kameron himself went after the pie next, making a slice for himself. Placing it into his mouth his eyes expanded as his mouth stretched into a grin. This...this...this was one of the best things he's ever eaten!

'Mmmmm... I'm definitely gonna pick up a pie of my own after work.' Citrine thought as he chewed his slice and cake.

Lunch. The greatest time of the day, especially during the summer. Only drawback? It has to end.

The two brothers rubbed their stomachs and let out loud belches. Then small chuckles left their mouths before they turned into laughter. Times like these rarely come by, but when they do it felt great.

Shortly after loud buzzes entered their ears. Reaching into their pocket they both noticed a large Gem icon past in the far east of the world. Putting their phones away Kameron up from the table and summoned out several crystal tendrils to grab his trash before placing them into a nearby trashcan. Citrine's Gemstone glowed as he absorbed the large chest into it before getting up from the table.

As the brother got up the table and chairs returned to the ground before they both pulled out their Warp Whistles and disappeared.

July 25th 12:15 p.m.

Mother Russia. The largest country on the map. Famous for it's largest railroad system and it's protection of it's sacred animal, the bear.

The two brothers arrived at their destination. Putting their Warp Whistles back into their pockets the brothers slowly observed their surroundings. All around them were a myriad of trees. The terrain was of rock and grass, and a small breeze was passing by despite the warm sun in the skies.

"Sibir'." Citrine said in Russian.

"Aga. Proshlo nekotoroye vremya s tekh por, kak ya byl zdes' tozhe." Kameron replied in Russian.

As the brothers started walking forward a loud roar echoed in their ears. Both brothers glanced at one another before they dashed forward toward the noise. Picking up the pace the brothers made their way pass various trees until they stopped at the edge of a cliff. Looking down they saw a large brown bear protecting her cubs from a massive Corrupted. The Corrupted stood on two feet and had what looked like armor plating on it's orange body. It had a short tail with a fluff ball at the end of it and spikes on it's shoulders. Plus two orange Gemstones on it's shoulders and the third on it's forehead.

The brothers jumped from the cliff and land onto the grassy terrain with loud Thuds. The Corrupted heard the thuds and turned around to the brothers, revealing a furry mane around it's head, large tusks, and a long trunk.

The mother bear and her cubs quickly ran off as the Corrupted approached the brothers. The Corrupted unleashed a strong ear-piercing roar and charged at the brothers. Moving out of the way Citrine charged at the monster as it turned around and threw a punch at him. Raising his arms out Citrine caught the punch and tightening his grip he slowly began to lift the monster, throwing it toward the opposite side of the area.

The Corrupted slowly picked itself up from the ground as Kameron ran toward it before jumping into the air and stretching his leg out. Aiming straight for the head his foot impacted it, but the amount of force wasn't enough to even make a dent. As he flipped himself back he was soon caught by it's trunk and thrown back. Crashing into the ground Kameron's body skipped along the terrain before he rolled over toward his brother.

"Ugh. I don't think I stand a chance against that thing." Kameron groaned as he got up.

Once he did the Corrupted jumped into the air and rolled itself into a ball before shooting itself at the brothers. Citrine quickly threw Kameron out of the way before he got hit and pushed back toward the cliff. He groaned upon impacting it, but the creature then unraveled and grabbed him with one arm before throwing him in the opposite direction.

"Citrine!" Kameron yelled.

He turned around as the Corrupted grabbed him before spinning around and throwing him into the same direction as his brother. His body spinning through the air Kameron quickly put on his goggles and took quick notice as the where he was going to hit.

SPLASH!

Slowing sinking into the water Kameron hit the floor and rapidly swam back toward the surface. He gasped for air and immediately swam to the shore. Reaching it he crawled on his hand and knees and started coughing while pushing his goggles to his forehead.

Catching his breath he slowly raised himself up as he let out some breaths.

"Citrine!? Citrine!?" Kameron yelled as he turned his head back and forth.

"Brother! I'm right here!"

Looking up Kameron saw his brother coming up to him from behind a large rock.

"That thing is pretty strong." Kameron said as he approached Citrine.

"It is. It's another Permafusion Corrupted." Citrine said as he balled his hands. "If we don't stop it quickly it'll harm more bears. Or worse, it'll harm people that might be living out here." He added.

"I'm not even sure our weapons would work on it either. So I guess that only leaves us with only one option remaining." Kameron replied.

Citrine blinked at his brother, "Kameron...are you suggesting we-"

"Yeah." Kameron interrupted. "It's our only card left to play. Besides, I kinda always wondered what we'd make if we ever became one."

Citrine blinked at him again. Soon his lips stretched into a grin.

Kameron's returned his grin with a smile. Raising his right arm his Gemstone started to glow as he stared at his brother. Citrine raised both of his arms up and flexed them as his Gemstone began glowing. They've never fused before or even gave it too much thought. But after he met Iolite Citrine's curiosity for fusion returned. Sure, his sister Azurite is a fusion and asking her about it was optional, but he really didn't pay much mind to it back then. Now though...he couldn't help but be a little curious.

Both brothers soon dashed at each other. Kameron jumped into the air and spun his body before stretching his right leg out. Citrine stopped in place and pulled his right arm back before launching it forward at full force. Soon both kick and punch collided, releasing a large shockwave throughout the area. In mere seconds it looked like nothing happened, but the seconds that came after changed that. Both brothers were consumed by lights of their respected colors until the lights themselves intertwined with each other and unleashed a large column of light into the air.

The Corrupted took notice the light and traversed toward it. This fight was far from over.

Pushing several trees out of it's way the Corrupted ran further and further ahead and jumped high into the air. Landing back on the ground the Corrupted jumped into the air again and repeated the process to get closer toward the column of light.

Taking one last leap the Corrupted arrived at the sight of the column of light. The column itself slowly began to fade and vanish leaving a strange figure kneeling on the ground. The figure slowly raised itself up as the Corrupted looked at it with confusion.

The figure itself was very tall and muscular. It was a male with tanned-skin. He had spiky orange hair shaped into a mohawk-mullet combo, orange eyes, and large goggles on his forehead. He wore a dark-brown collared shirt with multiple diamonds at the center in various directions and a orange Gemstone just below it. He also had another orange Gemstone on his wrist in the form of a diamond as well as wearing a large black hoodie jacket with a large white dove on the back, dark-blue pants with a brown belt and a white dove on the belt buckle, and large brown boots.

The male's eyes narrowed as he looked at the Corrupted. It roared at him before leaping into the air and rolling itself into a ball. Watching it come straight at him the man leaped into the air and flipped over it. Landing back on the ground the Corrupted opened itself up and crashed the lake. Step after step the male slowly walked toward the creature as it raised it's arm and launched it right at him. Balling his right hand the man jumped and landed right on the Corrupted's arm. Taking a step forward he ran straight toward it's face and jumped again, launching his first right at it's forehead.

A pained roar left the beast's mouth as it tumbled back, crashing into the lake's water.

The man landed mere inches away from the water. He crossed his arms and watched as the creature groaned in pain, but soon it got right back up again, letting loose an angry roar. Watching it run toward him the man uncrossed his arms. Raising both arms the Corrupted slammed them onto the man who too raised his arm out. Upon contact the man caught both arms, but the shear mass did cause him to kneel slightly.

The very weight was insane, but the man alone didn't care. Steadying himself he raised a leg and slammed it onto the ground and began to yell. Pressing his legs into the ground cracks started forming, but he was moving the Corrupted's arms. Little by little with his bare hands he continued yelling, and as he raised his voice more and more he kept pushing the arms off of him until he gave one last push. With just the force of his own strength he pushed the Corrupted back.

Watching it tumble the man's Gemstones started to glow as the Corrupted watched. Raising his right arm out Venganza slowly erupted out while Dhara erupted out of the other. Both the sword and the hammer floated in front of him before they were engulfed in orange light. The weapons slowly moved toward each other and as they touched they became some new. The orange light slowly dimmed until it faded, revealing a giant mace.

"Prozhorlivyy Voin. It is time to eat." The man finally spoke with a deep voice.

Gripping onto the mace the man immediately ran toward the Corrupted. Jumping high into the sky he flipped his body numerous times until he reached Corrupted's head. Raising the mace above his head the man slammed it right onto the Corrupted.

BAM!

With just one swing, one single swing of his mace cracks started to form all over the Corrupted's body. The body itself began to shake slowly and then violently until the entire monster poofed, leaving only it's Gemstones behind.

Returning to the ground the man picked up each of the Gemstones before sealing them and placing them into his Gemstone on his solar plexus.

Sucking in some air into his nose and exhaling it out of his mouth the man placed a hand near his right wrist and summoned a large juicy apple. Raising it toward it mouth he slowly opened it and took a large bite. Slowly chewing it...savoring each chew he then swallowed.

"Thank you, Kameron. But I'm afraid this apple will not be enough for my new hunger." The man said as he bit the apple again.

End of Episode 25.

I'm sorry this took so long. I've been having some technical difficulties, but they've been fixed now.

I wanted to do something fun here, so why not show another fusion. Won't say the name yet, but he will say it soon.

Hope you guys enjoyed this.
