Hello everyone. Hope you guys are doing well and enjoying the story so far. Now, I think it's time we shake things up a bit.

Episode 30: Warp Tour

August 20th 9:30 a.m.

Well...this was it. Summer was officially coming to a close. In only a few short weeks Kameron and Steven will go back to school, becoming a Junior and a Freshman at Dewey High School.

A lot has happened through these past months with freeing Lapis Lazuli from her imprisonment, learning the truth about the Corrupted, Kameron having a second personality (kinda) being revealed, uncovering a lost Crystal Gem named Bismuth within Lion, etc.

Speaking of Bismuth, there was one last thing the Evans and the Universes could do before the boys would head back to school. Giving the rainbow-haired blacksmith a little tour around the world.

First stop: Destiny City

"Welcome to Destiny City, Bismuth." Kameron said as he, Steven, and Bismuth traverse along the sidewalk.

Ascending her eyes Bismuth couldn't even form words as she gazed at the various buildings they passed by and the various people that walked pass her. "Whoa... The Earth has definitely changed the last time I saw it. Did humans really create all of this?"

"They sure did." Steven said with a big smile. "Humanity can accomplish anything when they put their minds to it and work together. From making buildings, to developing new types of medicine for those who are sick, and expressing themselves in ways unlike anything you've ever seen."

As he finished speaking Steven's eyes shot open with a small gasp leaving his lips, "Kameron. Can we show Bismuth the mural you made?"

Once he heard that Kameron's eyes shot open. Come to think of it...it has been a while since he last saw it. Might as well revisit it again.

With a nod the trio carefully crossed the street and took a left turn. Soon enough they found themselves a nearby alleyway and entered it. Going straight followed by a right turn before taking a left the trio soon entered a massive area. There were three massive brick walls with each one having a fresh touch of art on them, making the place feel as if you're entering the unknown.

"Holy rocks... Kameron, did you make all of these?" Bismuth asked, turning her head to him.

"No, the one at the center is mine. The ones on the left and right were made by different artists." Kameron answered.

Turning her head Bismuth directed her eyes at the middle wall. Slowly approaching it there were no words at all to describe what she was seeing right in front of her. Directly at the center of the wall was Green Diamond with Citrine standing right behind, Pyrope and Onyx on Green's right, Amber, Azurite, Charoite, and Lepidolite standing on his left, and the Crystals hovering above Citrine. Their respected colors surrounded them while the Doves and Stars were largely highlighted for more visibility.

"Pretty cool, huh?" Steven asked.

Bismuth looked at Steven who smirked at her then at Kameron who crossed his arms.

"I'm not sure how I'm even able to put this into words. How were you able to do this?" Bismuth replied.

"It wasn't easy. I was...in a bad place two years ago after...I lost someone close to me. My family blamed themselves and kept apologizing for it, even though it was all on me. The Crystals were no different, including Steven, so to distract myself I made this to show them that I couldn't be mad at them or hate them for not being there. None of us knew what was gonna happen." Kameron explained in a low voice.

Bismuth and Steven soon look at him with concerned eyes. Sure he did get a little better after his confession, but that never meant the mental and emotional scars were gonna fade anytime soon.

"I...I'm so sorry to hear that, Kameron." Bismuth said softly.

"It's okay. Don't worry about it." Kameron assured. "Anyway, I had to get permission from the city office to do this and it took months to get it done. But in the end, it was all worth it to show them how much they mean to me and that what happened wasn't there fault."

Bismuth's lips stretched into a smile as she placed a hand on Kameron's shoulder. "Well...I'd say you definitely did a good job with that."

"Thanks." Kameron replied. "By any chance, would you mind if I make a portrait of you when this is over?"

"I don't what a portrait is, but sure." Bismuth said, patting his shoulder before letting it go.

Soon after taking one last glance at the mural the trio left the alleyway and headed toward one of Steven's favorite places in the city: Botanical Kingdom.

August 20th 12:00 p.m.

Next Stop: Naples, Italy

Nothing beats reconnecting with your longtime friend than sharing some pizza, and what better place to enjoy it than the country in was born it.

"Mmmm... Nothing can beat Fish Stew Pizza, but the pizzas from Naples are top notch delicious." Citrine said as he stuffed his mouth.

"Citrine. What did I say about talking with your mouth full?" Christie chastised.

Citrine soon stopped chewing at he looked at his mother, giving him scolding eyes. He then swallowed before opening his mouth again, "Sorry, mom."

Christie sighed, "It's okay. Just remember, it's bad manners to have at the table. Understand?"

"Yes ma'am." Citrine replied as he continued eating.

Christie soon looked over at Lepidolite and Bismuth as she drank her tea, "I understand if you wouldn't want to eat, Bismuth. We're not going to force you if you don't want to."

"Nah. I don't mind trying it. This pizza stuff is actually not bad." Bismuth replied as she chewed a slice.

Christie smiled at her enjoying food, but then her eyes lightly narrowed as she looked at Lepidolite eating a large cup of strawberry Gelato. "Lepidolite. You know you can't have sweets until after you at least eaten lunch first."

"But I was really, really craving some." Lepidolite replied as she took another bite.

"No excuse, young lady. Especially after you used your "trick" on me when we walked in." Christie chastised.

"Mommy..." Lepidolite whined.

After swallowing her pizza slice Bismuth couldn't help but chuckle at the display she was witnessing. To think, a Citrine who is capable of demolishing structures with their incredible power and a Lepidolite would get scolded by a human. Sure, she herself got scolded by humans in the past, but never like this.

"What's so funny?" Citrine asked her.

"It's just kinda weird seeing the both of you like this. But in a funny way." Bismuth replied.

Citrine and Lepidolite glanced at each other, then toward their mother and back at Bismuth. Small chuckles left their mouths as they continued enjoying their food.

"She is our mother now, so if we do something bad we get scolded. So, your best option is to stay on her good side." Citrine said.

"Yeah. You don't want to wake up the Mama Bear." Lepidolite added.

"Mama bear?" Bismuth asked as she looked at Christie with confusion.

"Let's just say...I'm not as strong or have magic capabilities as my children or husband do, but..." Christie began as she glared at Bismuth, "If anything happens to my children or if somebody dares hurt them then they'll have to answer to me. And I will not be held responsible for what happens to them."

Bismuth's eyes shot open at that. But soon Christie softened her eyes and drank her tea.

The message was crystal clear: Don't piss of the mother of the Rainbow Gems.

August 20th 4:00 p.m.

Scandinavian Peninsula, Norway

It was time... Time for Bismuth to return to a place no-one could ever forget: The Battlefield.

Upon arriving Bismuth took a few steps forward. Her eyes shook as her hands slowly balled up. She took another step forward, gazing at the debris of land floating in the distance.

"How long has it been?" She asked cautiously.

"It has been five-thousand and three hundred years since The Great Gem War." Azurite answered.

"And our families are all that's left of the Rebellion..." Bismuth said, turning her head to her.

Azurite nodded.

"Bismuth, there is a place I'd wish to share with you. Come." Onyx said as he walked forward.

Without a response Bismuth followed him with Azurite and Charoite not far behind. As they walked Bismuth took notice of how much the landscape had changed the last time she saw it. The floating pieces of land were still around, but down below there were massive bushes filled with fresh ripe strawberries and groups of white butterflies fluttering in the air without a care in the world.

Soon enough they reached their destination. Up head there was a large quantity of gravestones. So large they could cover an entire country. And each one had a weapon in bedded next to them, but due to time, the weapons were now rusty and damaged beyond repair.

"Oh. My. Rocks." Bismuth said, approaching the gravestones. Tears began to form in her eyes as she looked back at Onyx, Azurite, and Charoite. "Are...are these...what I think they are?"

The trio nodded. "After the Great War was over we each found the remains of our comrades. Some were Gems and some were Human. Those that were killed were given the rightful burials they deserved. However, most of those we believed had perished were later transformed into Corrupted." Onyx explained.

"Those that were Crystal Gems or Rainbow Gems we sparred. Those that were Home World Gems...I'm sure you already know. And we've had to subdue them and contain them until we find a way to help them." Charoite added as she placed a hand on her hip.

Bismuth balled her fists even tighter as she turned around and walked up to the gravestones. Walking pass several isles she stopped at one and went into it. Going up to the center she got down on one knees as tears started coming down her cheeks. 'Crazy Lace... Biggs... Snowflake...'

She had already seen their statues, honoring their memories for the actions they've made, but this...it was more than she could handle.

Coming to her side Charoite and Azurite softly placed their hands on her shoulders. Their lips stretched into soft assuring smiles.

Onyx stood by with his nonchalant expression, though he eventually came over and stood next to Charoite.

"Though they may be gone, they are still here." Azurite said, placing a hand on her chest. "Why don't we pray for them?"

"Pray?" Bismuth asked, wiping her tears.

"Follow what we do." Azurite replied as she intertwined her hands and looked up at the sky with eyes closed.

Turning her head Bismuth saw Charoite and Onyx doing the same. Following them she intertwined her hands and looked at the sky, eyes closed. 'Okay...not really sure how to do this, but think I'm suppose to say some words?' She thought.

August 20th 8:00 p.m.

Tunguska Sea, Siberia

The last location for Bismuth's world tour, Siberia.

This time by using a Warp Pad Bismuth, Green Diamond, Amber, Pyrope, and the Crystals went straight to their final location. They were on top of at mid-level pillar with several others around it's corners. The area was circular and showed other Warp Pads around it, including a massive one directly at the center. Only...the other Warp Pads had been badly damaged and cracked, including the central one, who received a massive amount of damage to it.

"The Galaxy Warp..." Bismuth said as they all stepped forward. "Damn. These Warp Pads have seen better days." She then stopped at one and squinted her eyes, looking at an item placed on it. "Uhh...what are these things?"

"Stickers." Pyrope answered. "When we brought Kameron and Steven here for the time Steven marked each one with a sticker from that stupid cartoon he used to watch."

"Pyrope." Pearl said, narrowing her eyes at him.

"What? It was. All that it was about was a bunch of food crying for no reason. If they were given a reason to cry that's fine, but crying for no reason is just pathetic. Which is why I'm glad they took it off the air." Pyrope replied with crossed arms.

"Yeah, ah didn't like that show either. It really was annoyin'" Amber added.

"Food can cry?" Bismuth asked, having all eyes on her.

"No, Bismuth. They cannot, which I will admit would've caused issues across the globe if that were to occur." Green replied as he walked up to the central Warp Pad. "Have you enjoyed your little trip across the world?" He added.

"Yeah. It was fun for the most part." Bismuth said. "And guessing by the beat up Warp Pads Home World ain't coming back using the normal route, huh?"

"No. After five-thousand years they will find alternatives." Green replied. "We brought you here so you could see it for your self."

"Why even bother, Mr. Diamond? Could've just told her they don't work anymore." Amethyst said as she twirled her hair.

"Didn't ya just hear what mah Pa jus' said?" Amber said with narrowed eyes.

"Yeah, but I'm just sayin'" Amethyst replied.

"We're safe. That's all that matters." Garnet said.

Pyrope scoffed at her. "I get that you're the leader, but having some caution wouldn't hurt once and a while."

"We'll be fine. Let us return to The Temple." Garnet replied.

Pyrope looked away from her as they all walked back to the Temple Warp Pad and warped away.

As they disappeared a small cyan sphere crashed right into the ground next to the Warp Pad. It laid their for a few seconds until four holes opened up on itself, summoning four cyan cylinders out of it. Picking itself up the sphere started to maneuver toward the central Warp Pad. As it got close a portion of it opened up and squirted a strange substance onto one of the cracks.

The strange cyan sphere wasn't alone. Out of nowhere multiple sphere began to crash around the Galaxy Warp and went straight toward the central Warp Pad. Each one sprayed a bizarre substance onto the various cracks around the Warp Pad, which surprisingly, sealed it up. Each crack was getting sealed and ultimately disappeared until the entire Warp Pad was fully repaired.

The spheres then moved away from the Warp Pad as it soon activated, summoning Peridot from it. She stomped on the pad a few times before walking off of it. Raising her right arm four of her fingers began to form some kind of pad while she used her remaining fingers to use it.

"Log Date: 312. This is Peridot. I have officially arrived at the Galaxy Central Hub on Earth. Warp functionality has been successful." She said to herself as she looked around the area. "All thirteen Robonoids have completed assigned task. Preparing to locate Kindergartens and reactivate-" She added until she noticed something on the central Warp Pad. Ripping it off she turned her attention to the damaged Warp Pads, finding strange objects on them.

"I have discovered several strange materials with images of beings shedding tears. I do not understand what they are, but it is clear that this site has been compromise. Possibly by Green Diamond, the Rainbow Gems, or the Crystal Gems. Logical option: Return to Home World and send Tracking Robonoids." She said to herself as she went back to the Warp Pad and placed a small rectangular device on it.

As she warped away the device began to blink and explode, releasing a small shockwave, disabling the Robonoids left behind.

End of Episode 30.

I know this was a lot shorter than my usual material, but I wanted to get to the point and not drag it on. Which is kinda a bad habit for me that I need to work on.

Other than that, I hope you all enjoyed it. Time to have the plot moving again.

See you all again soon.
