Chapter 28: UN Founder: Victor Chevalier

Lee was surprised and shock to hear that Rhima is with them and was filled with excitement to see her again.

"I can't believe it, Rhima was here the entire time and both you and Jin had protected her from Kazuya. But why she was here?"

"She was sent by Hunyo to restore the link between our world and theirs since Silveria Corporation was destroyed by the bombing." Lars said telling Lee about Rhima's mission.

"The same Hunyo who is pretty serious in giving risky missions." Lee commented about Hunyo's actions and soon asking him. "So where is she?"

"She was with the other fighters. She has already prepared for the sparring matches." Lars answered and decided to get changed. "I'd better go now, I had a sparring session with Jin because he requested me to spar because other fighters like Azucena."

As Lars leaves, Lee, Alisa and Dr. Bosconovitch decide to go follow him.

Meanwhile, at the founder's office, both Raven and Master Raven were summoned by the UN Founder named Victor Chevalier who is actually a French Navy veteran as well as he was responsible for training their unit known as the Raven Unit.

"You called us, sir Victor."

"It seems that the same huge conglomerate had more focus on hunting this young lady for petty reasons." Victor finally faces both Raven and Master Raven and soon decided to inform them both. "Since Lars and Yggdrasil including other fighters who were also involved in the fight on that huge conglomerate. I want to see them how they can fight in a spar session. Since the young lady was with them, I want to see how she fights her opponents."

"I think you should be careful on her, sir." Raven warns Victor about Rhima which he calmly smirks.

"Sure... I just want to know how this young lady is capable to fight them."

Rhima later arrives at the balcony, wearing a white sleeveless polo shirt with a medium blue folded sleeves and collar, dark blue denim capris and brown flats and she watches a sparring fight between Jin and Lars. Lars was seen in a white robe over his black yoroi hitatare and a brown undergarment fastened over his chest and covering his left arm while Jin usually wears his karate gi bottoms but this time it was mixed colors of red, large areas of white and black on his right pant leg, forming the shape of a demonic face and another red and white flame design on the outer side of his left leg with a plain red flame which extends up to the inner side of the left leg. His karate belt is now red with white trim and his red gauntlets now have silver studs and they are now attached to his long black gloves with red lines on the underside reaching to his middle upper arm. The gloves are also tied with red straps in a white trim just like the color of his karate belt. Rhima wanted to see it again since she had briefly watched them spar for the first time and Leroy appears in his jersey jumpsuit look and wanted to see how they had fought.

"Seems like you wanna watch their sparring match."

"It is... But I still can't recognize Jin's current physique and his upper back was so large to see a huge thick line in it." Rhima said while commenting about Jin's current physique and Leroy laughs over her comment.

"Hahaha... I've never seen someone who can make remarks over the fighter's main physique. Take note, young lady. Body shaming is a real bad taboo if you personally spoke to anyone's physique and much worse if you spoke to people who were suffering obesity."

As both watch the sparring match between Lars and Jin, both begins exchanging their blows. Lars demonstrates of using his Limited stance but Jin gets the upper hand by dodging his move and hitting him with a Double Lift Kick. This follows with a punch and a Left Drill Punch as well as utilizing his Keito and Black Wing Rondo. However, Lars counters with a grappling technique which is his SHB.

"What do you think of their sparring match, young lady?"

"Jin has gotten improved than last time. I briefly watch their first sparring match but I left to think I spoiled the entire game you came in." Rhima answered nicely and Leroy finally tells her advice.

"You should be, young lady. You were different than your father who always enjoy taking street fights. You have to prove yourself that you were the smarter and stronger than him."

Remembering what her father Hunyo had told her that the only way to beat her opponents including Kazuya is to outsmart them during the fight. She lowers her head in dismay and decided to discontinued watching and coldly says.

"I won't forget what my dad asking me what to do. I'm a grown person now. I'm just my dad's shadow."

As Rhima leaves, Leroy was surprised to see her leaving. Jin makes a Leaping Side Kick to knock Lars in a little distance and to his dismay, Rhima is nowhere to be seen. Without warning, Lars knocks him to the gut with one Lightning Thrust, sending him into the distance. Lars then helps him stand up since he won for the second time.

"Are you okay, Jin? You seem to be losing your focus."

"Yeah... your palm strike seems painful to my gut." Jin said complaining about the move he struck on him and Leroy clarifies to both of them.

"I think he lost focus because the young lady just left when I mentioned about her dad."

Jin remembers that he and Rhima had accidentally traveled to the real world with her powers and Hunyo had already given advice to her to deceive and outsmart the enemy as he thought.

She became much more disturbed after we came back last night. This is probably because of her father's advice. I lost focus because I was more concerned about her.

As Rhima decided to leave them be, she was confronted by Asuka who is now wearing her Aikido uniform, ready to face her in a sparring match.

"Rhima-chan... are you ready for this? This is your moment."

"Sorry Asuka... I won't fight you."

Asuka was surprised about her rejection to fight as she raises her brow at her.

"What is wrong with you, Rhima? You look like you don't want to face me. You already fought Xiaoyu when she makes it personal."

"She just forced me to fight her because she has feelings for Jin and she's literally obsessed with him."

Not realizing that Jin had overheard their conversation and knowing that Rhima doesn't want to fight and Asuka easily knows her problems with her father Hunyo.

"Is it because of Mr. Panganiban, right? If you still troubled about your dad, you need to move on with it. I really want to bring out your high spirits once we spar."

"..."

"Asuka was right, Rhima-san..." Jin arrives after hearing their conversation and soon states. "Just focus on the fight not being stick in the mud all the time because of Mr. Panganiban. I lost to Lars in our second sparring match because I wasn't very focus because I was very concerned about you and I knew you would be leaving."

"I really wanted to think about all this. I'm just being my dad's shadow because he always enjoy the fight." Rhima remarked coldly until she heard Lee's smug remark on her.

"You're not Hunyo's shadow, Rhima-san. You were only saying this because you're not interested to fight them."

Rhima was surprised to see Lee as Lars was accompanied him to see them.

"Don't get me wrong, Rhima-san. You're no better than your father Hunyo. You have a marvelous large head which is about to cook it up for all of them."

"Mr. Lee..."

"Thanks for bringing Lee Chaolan with us, Lars. I would expect he will be here to find us." Jin said thanking Lars for bringing Lee to see Rhima.

"The truth is, Lee and Alisa had been searching for us in the rebel base. At least, he found us staying at this main headquarters at UN." Lars smiled nicely as Lee tells Rhima about the UN Founder.

"If you keep leaving us behind, you don't even noticed the UN Founder had been watching you. You already knew that both Raven and Master Raven are here. But the UN Founder is also their leader of the Raven Unit. Their leader and founder of UN was a French man named Victor Chevalier."

"Victor Chevalier?"

"Since I'm a staff officer within Lars's rebel army and has connections with the UN to make alliance. I know about Victor. And Rhima... you have to show Asuka how smart and strong you were. Besides, you even spar with people including Jin to know that you are strong." Lee said giving Rhima some thought and advice.

Back at the stage, Rhima decided to spar with Asuka to bring out her high spirits and her motivation to fight. Jin, Lars, Lee, Alisa, Dr. Bosconovitch, Lili, Leroy and Hwoarang are present to watch while Raven, Master Raven are with Victor.

"So she was the girl being targeted by the same large conglomerate. She must be a fighter."

"Confirmed... she was a fighter. But her opponents will never underestimate her high intelligence." Raven added about Rhima's intelligence and Victor decided to watch her fight with Asuka.

"I want to see how she can fight them first, Raven. If she defeats this Aikido practitioner, then I will gladly to meet her personally. She must be a very gifted fighter."

"Okay, Rhima-san... get ready. I won't be easy on you." Asuka said showing her confidence to fight which makes her sigh.

"I had no other choice but to face you, Asuka. If you wanna fight Mrs. Kazama then you need to prove yourself that you were stronger than her."

Asuka smiles and soon charges with her punches and both girls are exchanging their blows. Asuka attempts to execute her Burning Lantern but Rhima manages to grab her arm with a blow following with a roundhouse kick.

"That was Wing Chun..." Leroy commented in excitement and Hwoarang reacts to her moves.

"Did Kazama retrained her or something? She can take her down."

"I think Jin was the one who retrained her to fight because he knows that sparring matches like this would be messy." Lee said smirking as the latter closes his eyes in a sigh.

"It was my mother Jun Kazama, who told me to retrain her to fight."

Asuka was amused to see that Rhima is capable to defend herself as well as a combatant. She then executes her Exorciser to knock her out while unleashing her Heat. But she made Rhima sending distance away due to her blocking her powerful elbow. She then rushes to attack using both Yata Kagami and her new move Basho Upper and Rhima can only block and dodge the attack. As a last resort, Asuka executes her Heat Smash which is her Three Ascension Kicks as Rhima attempts to dodge but narrowingly got hit from first two kicks and the third and last kick causing her to dodge in three backflips and counters with by grabbing her to hit her gut with three left punches and a right uppercut to the face followed by a heavy blow."

"Wow... you've gotten improved, Rhima-chan..."

"I maybe the enemy's target, but a lot of you keep pushing me to show off my moves in the fight." Rhima said complaining over letting her to fight.

Asuka outsmarts her by hitting her with Falling Tower. But to her dismay she was countered by grabbing her and takes her down, not giving up on the fight.

"Excellent, Rhima-san! You beat her!" Lee cheers Rhima happily and Lili was happy to have her rival getting beaten.

"I guess she makes for my loss to Miss Asuka. Magnifique..."

"Sir Victor... looks like we-?" Master Raven wanted to inform Victor but he quickly disappeared. Her subordinate, Raven nudges to see Victor was now on the arena who is now armed to face her.

"Can you stand up, Asuka?"

"Yeah... thanks."

"You must be the girl. I appreciate your fighting ability and your higher intellect. I'm Victor Chevalier, the leader and founder of UN's individual forces as well as being the founder of the Raven unit." Victor finally introduces himself to Rhima in a French language and she wondered why he was present and she too introduced herself.

"I'm Rhima Panganiban... and I'm from the real world and I'm here to finish my mission to restore the link between your world and mine."

Victor was impressed and decided to test her fighting skills by taking her down with his modified katana which Rhima blocks it with both of her hands.

"Rhima-san!" Jin shouted and both Lars and Lee were shocked to see Victor attempts to attack her personally.

"Very good... you were a fighter indeed and with a high intelligence." Victor smirked happily and tries to attempt to shoot her with his pistol but Rhima quickly disarms him and lands a powerful forward kick, sending him into the distance. "Okay, that's enough for me. I was just testing you if you can handle my attacks in a quick succession."

"You're only just testing me to see if I can defend myself by those." Rhima easily pointed out on Victor's actions which he confirms.

"Exactly! You were qualified for the Raven unit and since you were the main target by the huge conglomerate that we are trying to defeat. From now on, you are our very own Top Secret."

"A Top Secret?" Rhima wondered in confusion as Asuka came to her aid after Victor tests her fighting skills which she points her index finger on him.

"Hey old man! You shouldn't attack a girl like that!"

"Meet me at my office, Ms. Rhima... Me and both of my subordinates are your allies just like Lars and Yggdrasil. We're going to protect you at all costs from that huge conglomerate we had currently infiltrated." Victor said calmly to Rhima and leave the arena.

Rhima became confused over Victor's claim while Asuka continues to complain about Victor as she thought.

Mr. Lee was right about Mr. Chevalier, he looks pretty serious at all. When he tests me like hitting a katana or disarming him with his firearms, he seems like his current fighting style is based on the style used by spy agents. And the old guy is more like a spy agent himself.

*From this chapter and onwards, most Tekken characters would sometimes wearing their default main outfits or their default third outfits in the game.

*Rhima also shares her dislike from Street Fighter 6's new character, Manon Legrand for being a "strong" person.

*When Rhima blocks the katana wielded by Victor is the butterfly technique used in the classic anime series, Voltes V and its live-action remake, Voltes V: Legacy.

*Victor Chevalier made his debut on this chapter with or without his weapons and firearms.
