Chapter 29: The Fate of the Panganibans

"You became unfazed after the old guy had attacked you by a katana and a gun. He's got the nerve..." Asuka remarked about Victor's actions which Rhima didn't mind.

"I blocked his attacks because of my instinct who told me to dodge and avoid. He really thinks I'm pretty clueless since I easily knew his fighting style."

Therefore, Jin and the others arrive to see them they are okay and comes to Rhima's side.

"You make me worried out there. I've never seen the UN Founder would even attacked you on purpose."

"He was only testing me to see if I can block his attacks. He's got the moves of a super agent like other ninja agents I've met." Rhima said clarifying about Victor as well as his current fighting style.

"I believe Victor is known to use Super Spy CQB, it is a close-quarters fighting style involves on using various weaponry." Lars said knowing of his current fighting style and Lee was amused in how she can dodge Asuka's Three Ascension Kicks.

"That dodge on Asuka's kicks amused me so much despite the first hit had almost struck on you."

"I really wish if you can beat Kazama with that kind of a move you got, Rhima. He was way too slow to catch on." Hwoarang smiled while teasing his rival for being slow causing Jin to raise his brow.

"Shut up, Hwoarang!"

Raven appears as a shadow clone of himself to surprise the fighters and informs Rhima about to meet Victor at his office.

"Rhima, our founder is waiting at his office."

"I don't know what he wants to show me something. Since you were aligned with them, I think they already knew about G Corporation's movements. I must be going now."

Rhima leaves as the shadow clone disappears as Roderick arrives too late.

"Oh great... where is she going now?"

At Victor's office, Rhima discovers that he was a former French navy since he had moved to the UN and he had founded the Raven unit after establishing as a leader of the independent forces.

"Seems like your family lineage is from medieval times and you seemingly trained many of them during your spare time."

"Of course... And I will show you something." Victor said as he shows the cameras where he had watched every movement of what G Corporation was up to. Rhima learns that Feng serves as a accomplice to their cause while Kazuya was angered to see their failures and reprimands them.

"He won't stop until I got caught by them. I've never seen you made these cameras to monitor them."

"Yes, he was mainly responsible for all those carnage in the world. I also trained the Raven unit so that to take counter measures against them." Victor said confirming of their plans. "I'm known as the codename "Phantom Raven" and the military was really afraid of me."

"Is the Philippines got involved in the war too?" Rhima asked which Victor confirms.

"Yes. When our world was in a brink of being taken over by the huge conglomerate, I heard the Mishima Zaibatsu had given relief goods to anyone and that includes us when I decided to help them those in need."

"I see... and this is what Josie wanted to become a soldier from the Tekken Force. But it's not going to happen either since the Zaibatsu was destroyed by Mr. Mishima by destroying their satellite orbital laser." Rhima said and mentioning Josie's backstory in the seventh game and Victor finally tells her.

"Your surname was Panganiban, right. I think I saw this when I finally directed the Raven unit. During that carnage caused by G Corp, most people living in many cities from all over the globe became their casualties."

After the personal meeting between them, Rhima arrives to see Jin and the group and soon emotionally cries while running away.

"Rhima-san!"

"Jin, let's follow her, quickly!" Lee said alarming over Rhima's break down which they followed her. Lars was wondering what just happened.

"What happened to Rhima, she eventually cried all of the sudden?"

"Victor had told her something since she was our top secret, she was under protection by us." Raven said informing Lars about Rhima's break down.

"You mean to tell me that the Panganibans in our world was-..."

"Yes... since Kazuya had already continued the global war, many people became their casualties. The Panganibans who lived here was among the casualties and they are not involved like you've seen them in the real world."

At the volcanic island within the Taal Volcano, a scene where a perverted teacher kidnaps the mentally challenged female student and was met by her old godfather and the other being her fellow teacher who humorously laughs at him from getting bitten by the student who briefly fought back at him. In fact, all three men are about to execute their crimes of gang rape with homicide towards the student they had kidnapped and to threw her into the old well where she died from drowning. Jang-geum had watch the entire scene of their current deed on his large tablet and he looked to see his mercenaries guards most of the inhabitants living in the island and he carries the time bomb he used to implant on its main crater as he mumbles in Korean language.

"Hee hee hee... Looks like that no good vigilante would get any closer here in this island. He may come here but he will be killed by my own hand."

On the way to the volcanic island they are racing against time to find Jang-geum to stop the last and final bomb and Hunyo was serious in wanting to save the inhabitants living in the island and knowing of the danger living in the active volcano as he thought.

This is just like some people living around the provinces in Albay who were aware of the danger of the volcano's eruption. But here, they're going to die once Taal Volcano will be exploded and that included the horses they currently taken care of.

Outside of the UN, Rhima continues to break down her tears after hearing about what Victor said about them. Both Jin and Lee had watched her from afar.

"Seems like Victor had a poison tongue to tell her about this."

"I don't understand... I feel her pain within her. Much like how I believed my mother was killed by Ogre when I was a teen." Jin said sadly over her pain which Lee tells him.

"The Panganibans from the real world which is Hunyo and his family they are alive. But here in our world they became casualties at Kazuya and G Corporation's hands. I think the only living person who is knowledgeable about this entire incident was Keiya Cashimiro."

"I've seen that guy before. He was sided with my mother Jun. When I barely speak his native language and he responded to me. He was guiding Rhima-san during her travels here. He can reverted back to a blue metallic sphere which Rhima has been carrying it since." Jin said recognizing about Keiya's appearance and to Lee's surprise.

"That sphere... it was the same metallic sphere that Hunyo was accidentally time travelled to our world. And now he was here guiding Rhima for her mission. I must see him... and it's probably she had kept somewhere in her things."

While Rhima remains crying over Victor's words, Jin arrives to comfort her and sharing his pain to her.

"I know how you feel, it's like it happened to me before."

"..."

"I believe my mother was killed by Ogre and take vengeance for her death. I really missed her for a very long time after she went missing and it turned out that she was alive all along." Jin said sadly.

"I never thought that there's another me and my family are present here and they died at Mr. Mishima and G Corporation's hands. I've never seen how painful it is... just like I lost my older brother Jun Carlo from a car accident." Rhima whimpered sadly. "What he really did was a massacre."

Rhima continues to cry which Jin eventually hugged her by comfort as the chorus of the background song "More Days with You" has been played.

"Dry your tears, Rhima-san... Let's avenge their deaths. I already done this before, even after my late grandfather Heihachi had betrayed me and even I hated my own father Kazuya. We can do this together..."

Lee was relieved that Jin is able to calm her down by comforting her with a hug. Therefore, he saw Xiaoyu was there speaking to the woman in a hood which happens to be Zafina.

At Rhima's room, Rhima shows the blue metallic sphere to both Jin and Lee as Roderick is present to see them as the sphere glowed which she summoned her uncle Keiya.

"Keiya... you look dandy than the last time we see each other." Lee said remarking of Keiya's appearance which he replies.

"You haven't changed, Lee."

"Uncle Kei... is it really true that me and my dad from this world were killed here? You had said it yourself that you were alive in this world while you were long dead at my world." Rhima asked him in a serious tone and Keiya confirms.

"Yes... I was there when I tried to evacuate many people living in the Metro within the Philippines as I commanded orders in Silveria Corporation to do what I can to save many lives. I tried to warn Hunyo about the global war but he never listened to my warnings. I relocate my family somewhere to avoid getting a crossfire over G Corporation's war games. When I came back to save Hunyo and his family, it was already too late."

"..."

"So they are indeed killed." Lee said sadly over their loss and Keiya tells Rhima.

"Despite my death from natural causes in the real world, my spirit remains in that sphere. Your father in this world is much different than your father from the real world. Although he lives a normal life with his family, you and Jun Carlo are already had different jobs and Jun Carlo had a girlfriend in his side. But since they were killed, it was a living hell for everyone in their lives."

"Hmmm... my dad in this world had a different personality and he's not like my real dad in my world who is serious enough to save people's lives even for myself either." Rhima said realizing their horrible fates of her family living in the World of Tekken.

"Wow... I've never seen there was another Hunyo in this world but they were all killed." Roderick commented sadly and Keiya tells Lee.

"Please, look after Rhima. I wanted her mission to succeed and I want to get revenge on Kazuya and G Corporation for killing my best friend."

Keiya eventually disappears and reverts back into a sphere and Lee catches it.

"I'll keep your word, Keiya. We'll take care of Rhima while she was here."

"I'd better be going now... I'm sure Hwoarang was eager to face me in battle." Jin said smirking on both and soon leaves them.

"Mr. Lee... your face became pale all of the sudden?" Rhima wondered to know and Lee tells her.

"I'm sure Jin would never understand about this, Rhima-san. It's about Xiaoyu... I saw a glimpse of her speaking to the fortune teller who has a demonic left hand."

"You mean Zafina?" Rhima recognizes Zafina which is a fortune teller and Lee confirms it.

"Yes... I think it's about time to tell you what happened to that fortune teller. Since Jin destroys Azazel and ended up comatose six months ago. Zafina was the one who sealed Azazel's soul due to her family's lineage. So currently, Zafina has Azazel's demonic powers and she will unleash its powers if its necessary."

"!"

"Man that was rough for her." Roderick said and Lee continues to tell them.

"Seems like Xiaoyu has been sided with the leader of Archer of Sirius, Claudio Serafino and now Zafina was on their side to find Jin. They remained contact with each other whenever they meet."

Rhima realizes about Claudio's alliance with both Xiaoyu and Zafina as she had thought.

Claudio was glad he taught me to take full control of my powers. But his alliance with both women just to search for Jin, was very crappy. I guess I need to spar like them and I want to avenge me, my dad and my family living in this world from Mr. Mishima's devil hands.

*The world map where Victor shows it to Rhima was in fact the same map used in Arcade Quest Mode.

*Rhima mentions about Josie Rizal and her backstory in Tekken 7 since she is not playable in Tekken 8.

*The kidnapped and gang rape with homicide scene where Jang-geum was watching from his large tablet it was from the first part of the 1997 film, Calvento Files: The Movie which is Balintuwad (Upside Down).

*Hunyo also references the residence living in the active volcanoes in real life as well as the eruption of the Taal Volcano which was later erupted in the year 2020.

*Zafina makes her cameo appearance in this chapter talking to Xiaoyu to show their alliance with her and Claudio and Lee reveals it to Rhima about her backstory in the game.
