The camera then went back to Drake and Ashley grinning.

"Welcome back!" Ashley smiled. "If you are just turning in, we are about to reveal the last ten fighters!"

"Let's see if the best is for last!" Drake said.

KEN "GODHAND" MISHIMA

NODE: EHRGEIZ

Ashley raised an eyebrow. "Huh? Mishima? Forgive me but thanks to Tekken, whenever I see Mishima, I can't help but to think of the Mishima family."

"That's because he IS a Mishima!" Drake pointed out.

Ashley jumped at this. "Wait… WHAT!?""

"Yeah, I don't know the direct relationship to them but they are related." Drake pointed out.

"...Is it bad that I am suddenly glad that he hasn't made an appearance since his debut game?" Ashley asked. "Tekken already has enough Mishima drama."

Drake chuckled nervously. "Also true. But yeah, Barry, Rinky, back to you!"

The camera then went to a nodding Barry. "Alright. Ehrgeiz or Ehrgeiz God Bless The Ring is a fighting game developed by DreamFactory and published by both Namco AND Square."

"Thus why Godhand is related to the Mishimas AND having Final Fantasy characters." Rinky pointed. "However, unlike most fighting games, especially at that time, Ehrgeiz allowed full 3D movement around an arena which often had several levels and/or obstacles."

"And before you ask 'like Super Smash Bros', actually Ehrgeiz showed one year BEFORE Super Smash Bros for the Nintendo 64." Barry explained. "That's right. Despite being the poster child of platform fighters, it wasn't actually the first."

"Hell, Ehrgeiz isn't the first as shown when at the third Battle of the Luminaries…" Rinky started.

"Rinky, Section SIXTEEN, remember?" Barry scolded, glaring at Rinky.

The ghost winced. "Oh, right, sorry… My bad…"

"It is fine. I suppose things like that are okay here and there. Just be more careful." Barry sighed. "Anyway, like Rinky said, the game is notorious for having Final Fantasy characters. Particularly VII due to the large success of that game."

"In other words, it was the first of many for the Final Fantasy VII Cash Cow Train." Rinky smirked. "Moo Choo!"

Barry chuckled. "In the original game, they had Cloud Strife and Tifa Lockhart as 'Guardian' and 'Summoner' respectively and the final boss resembles Red XIII."

Rinky blinked twice. "But isn't the Red Scorpion the final boss?"

"It… Depends on how you look at it. Sure, the Red Scorpion is always the last opponent you fight, but it doesn't have a health bar and you can't lose unlike with Django." Barry reminded.

"Also true." Rinky shrugged. "Well, there was an updated version that invited Sephiroth, Yuffie, Vincent and Zack. In other words, there is no way another would forget Zack NOW."

"Indeed." Barry laughed. "However, there is more than just fighting. There are several minigames and also Quest Mode, a sort of RPG-Lite as shown in DreamFactory's previous Tobal 2 starring two side characters and invoking many Final Fantasy VII mainstays including materia. Many of the RPG section's game mechanics were later re-used in Vagrant Story."

"I am still stunned that Orange-Ratchet not only KNOWS about Ehrgeiz but also invited them as a main node." Rinky said in awe.

"I know, right? I was stunned to find out that Drake actually invited Yoko, unaware that he was helping her prepare for the second Tournament of Kikai!" Barry smiled. He then faltered. "Do you think they would end up like Battle Arena Toshinden?"

"I am not sure. On the other hand, Yoko tied for THIRD place in the votes in her debut section in the third Battle of the Luminaries." Rinky reminded. "And while this isn't much of a consolation, the Final Fantasy character should help them from getting a poor score."

"Even still, the original characters should know that they can't rely on them forever." Barry frowned. "Regardless, back to you guys."

The camera then went to a nodding Ashley. "Thank you, guys. You are doing great as always!"

"Now I don't know how strong Godhand is compared to his fellow Mishimas, at the end of the day, he is STILL a Mishima, Mishima-ryu Karate." Drake reminded. "If you are familiar with the Mishimas in Tekken, you should see those moves."

Ashley nodded his head. "That sounds about right."

"However, unlike the Mishimas, he isn't afraid to use cheap tactics instead of his raw strength." Drake said. "By using grenades, mines and his gun arm."

Ashley jumped. "Wait… A GUN arm?"

"Yeah, after finding out that Red Scorpion, the group that he was a mercenary for, was looking for immortality, he severed his OWN ARM just for an excuse to retire without suspicion and got a new one." Drake explained.

Ashley winced. "He IS a Mishima. Only they would do something so… Drastic?"

"Yeah, even more I consider Yoko more the protagonist than him, Godhand is still the Player 1 character and not for good reason." Drake nodded, sternly.

CEREBELLA

NODE: SKULLGIRLS

"And what better person to hype up the crowd for Skullgirls than the circus strongwoman herself?" Drake grinned.

"Indeed. Especially since the node has done surprisingly well in the first tournament." Ashley nodded. "I was worried that they would not come back because they didn't want to risk bringing the Skull Heart just like Soul Calibur IV did in the second Battle of the Luminaries."

"To be fair, while nearby, the Skull Heart didn't destroy the Crossover Dome just like with the Megamix Dome." Drake reminded. "If Claire from Tales of Rebirth wasn't in the crowd, who knows what could have happened."

Ashley winced. "True… Well, this isn't the time to be thinking of negative stuff and focus on the positive. Right, Barry and Rinky?"

The camera then went to a grinning Rinky. "Right, Ashley? Skullgirls is a fighting game with a mostly-female cast, not unlike Arcana Heart. The game's art style is notable for combining wacky anime-like character designs with a Golden Age film motif and having 'Dark Deco' stage backgrounds and a cinematic presentation."

"In the Canopy Kingdom, female combatants fight in an attempt to control the enigmatic Skull Heart, a mysterious MacGuffin with the power to bestow wishes, but not without a substantial price." Barry explained. "Thus why most of the roster are women. Should the victor possess an impure soul, the Skull Heart corrupts both her wish and her physical body into a living nightmare that haunts humanity: a monstrous entity known only as the Skullgirl."

"...He's not exaggerating. Did you not see Junko when she had the Skull Heart?" Rinky winced.

"In the middle of a war with two other nations, the Canopy Kingdom's queen won the Skull Heart and wished for peace." Barry explained. "In a way, she got her wish: after transforming into the most powerful and dangerous Skullgirl in history, all three countries agreed to stop fighting each other in order to save themselves from the Skullgirl."

"Skullgirls' gameplay carries the feel of old-school arcade fighters while providing a high-definition twist. It features a 'ratio system' like Capcom VS SNK that allows each player to choose to fight with one character or a team of up to three characters, resulting in different combinations for a particular match." Rinky explained "The game also features a special combo detection system: if a player begins an infinite combo, the damage strikes change colour, and the game will allow the opponent to "burst" out of the infinite and knock the offensive player away."

"Along with the artstyle, the main draw were the characters like the girl with a parasite for hair, the cat girl that could decapitate her own head and limbs and a living tribute to the classic cartoons." Barry explained. "And now the roster is growing. With it gaining three new characters and even a proper fighting game appearance for the final boss."

"Again, just like with King of Fighters XV, I think at least one character would be missing the cut. But what are you going to do?" Rinky shrugged. "At least the latest character is Marie so if she has an early draw, she could just default to her final boss form."

"Indeed. Regardless, Skullgirls is a classic and even after all of these years, it is still seeing support so relevance is not a problem." Barry said. "Back to you guys!"

The camera then went back to a nodding Ashley. "Thanks, guys."

"Now her 'weapon' is Vice-Versa, a hat that could grow giant arms." Drake explained. "As such, she is a grappler with heavy-hitting moves and long-range grabs."

"But don't think she is a mere Mighty Glacier! After all, she IS a circus performer so she is also quite agile." Ashley pointed out.

"Plus, she already got an elimination in the first Tournament of Kikai so she may have a decent shot, even if the competition is more tight this time around!" Drake nodded.

LANDIA

NODE: KIRBY

Drake blinked twice before smirking. "I heard of two heads being better than one, but this is ridiculous!"

Ashley looked at Drake in disbelief. "Really?"

"Aw, come on, how could I NOT do a multiple-head pun?" Drake laughed.

Ashley rolled his eyes. "Over to you guys."

The camera then went to a snickering Barry. "Kirby is a Nintendo platformer, created by THE Masahiro Sakurai. It is about his young, innocent puffball that has the power to suck in people and take their powers along with the ability to infinitely fly."

"He may seem like a cutesy game series and in most cases, they are even with the enemies. But HOO BOY, just wait until you get to the final bosses!" Rinky laughed.

"Indeed, the final boss is a major contrast between it and the regular game levels." Barry said before smirking. "Despite this, the little guy always manages to find a way to succeed and come up smiling at the end!"

"Kirby has spawned so many games. Even though he has so many, out of all of the mainline games and even the spin-offs, I don't think he has a poor game." Rinky said before pausing. "In hindsight, it is a surprise why we didn't get a main Kirby game until now."

"Especially since Star Allies gave us a lot of potential fighters in both common enemies, bosses AND Dream Friends." Barry added. "I wonder how come there aren't any characters from the new game, The Forgotten Land."

"I was thinking that as well." Rinky noted. "Especially with how popular it was. Still, I don't think there is much complaint about what we got. Back to you guys!"

The camera then went to a nodding Drake. "Thanks, guys!"

"Now Landia may not be the final boss, they are still the protector of the Master Crown." Ashley explained. "They were able to keep it away from Magalor and the latter had to trick Kirby and his friends into beating him."

"Yeah, not that many people could be a match for Kirby." Drake said, chuckling nervously. "Landia could fly, breathe fire from each of their heads, tail whips, do a swooping attack and even flap their wings to send out a strong current of wind AND several wind wave projectiles."

"And that is in its normal form. If pushed into a corner, they will split into four to divine and conquer, even gaining a new move where they would summon electricity around themselves and cause them to zap the area they are surrounding." Ashley added.

"I was not expecting Landia, but the more I think about it, the more it makes sense for him to be the first Kirby character, especially with Return to Dreamland getting a Remaster." Drake noted.

INFINITE

NODE: SONIC THE HEDGEHOG

Drake immediately grunted in disgust while Ashley just… Frowned.

"Ugh… Well, I guess I can't complain TOO much." Drake muttered. "We need the fodder so other people can get a chance."

"Um, yeahhhhh, about that." Ashley frowned.

"What is it, man?" Drake asked.

"Remember when I said that I skimmed through the votes and saw that Berry actually got a few votes?" Ashley asked.

Drake's pupils shrank at this. "Don't tell me Infinite got a lot of votes as well?"

"Okay, I WON'T tell you…?" Ashley asked with a sheepish grin.

"WHY!?" Drake exclaimed. "Carver said it himself, he is the worst-written Sonic character in the series! And that is no small feat to put it mildly! He is everything that Shadow haters THINK Shadow is!"

"I don't make the votes." Ashley scolded. He then paused. "Well, technically I can, seeing that I am an extension of Tinyhammer but even then, it is only ONE vote."

Drake groaned before slumping in his chair. "Ugh… Just cut to Barry and Rinky."

The camera went to a frowning Barry. "Oof… Just oof… Sonic the Hedgehog is no stranger to the gaming world, debuting all of the way on the Sega Genesis in 1991!"

"It is about a blue-furred hedgehog with super speed and ATTITUDE who is going after a mad scientist from taking the world by kidnapping tiny robots and turning them into robots." Rinky explained. "Basically what 'Awesome' Possum is doing without being in your face about it."

"To say that he had some… high highs and low lows is an understatement" Barry grinned. "Fortunately, with the live-action movies, Sonic Frontiers, Sonic Prime and even that April Fools' visual novel, Who Killed Sonic? It looks like he is going to be on a high for a while!"

"And on a high he is!" Rinky grinned. "Now the roster hasn't changed too much. But Xero DID added Gemel and Zavok because Drake wanted to invite them himself but Drake copied and pasted and forgot to add his new additions."

"I don't blame him. The Game Boy Advance era of Sonic games were a part of Tinyhammer's childhood and it IS kinda hypocritical to have Infinite and not have Zavok." Barry admitted. "Especially since Zavok has been in more games."

"For better or for worse." Rinky spat.

"But look on the bright side." Barry piped up.

"What bright side?" Rinky asked.

"If Infinite DID somehow end up getting an elimination, that means Sonic the Hedgehog has a better chance to mount a comeback." Barry pointed out.

Rinky blinked twice. "That's… Not a bad argument. Back to you, guys."

The camera then went back to a stunned Drake. "Um, yeah, thanks, guys."

"Now just like in the third Battle of the Luminaries, due to being the only original character from Sonic Forces besides the Avatar, of course, Infinite's moveset is most likely based on the gameplay from Sonic Forces Speed Battle." Ashley explained.

"He could either send out red cubes as a projectile, engulf himself in red energy before dashing or setting a trap of a Phantom Ruby image of him." Drake added. "If any of those attacks connect with someone, their vision will be impaired, making it easy for Infinite for a free attack."

"Speaking of attacking, due to having most of his powers nerfed since his game, Infinite has to rely on said ability from Speed Battle and his sword from his mercenary days." Ashley said.

"I do hope that other Sonic characters do better this time around." Drake admitted with a sigh. "If they do, I would actually not mind Infinite getting an elimination."

"Well, that's fine." Ashley said before looking grumpy. "I bet Carver would say otherwise…"

Then, a familiar alarm went off.

"Saved by the Mystery Fighter Alarm." Drake grinned.

"Let's hope that the second Mystery Fighter for this section will make up for what we just learned." Ashley said, chuckling nervously.

KITTY KO

NODE: SIDEKICK

Just like with Boyd, Drake and Ashley were stunned by the Mystery Fighter.

"...And already Xero is taking off-guard with a node that I rarely heard about." Drake muttered.

Ashley let out a deep sigh. "Barry, Rinky, you have both done your research so far. But it seems that your skills will truly be taken to the test here."

The camera then went to a stern Barry. "Very well, Ashley, leave it to us. Sidekick is a Canadian animated television series from Nelvana that was created by Canadian animators Todd Kauffman, the co-director of the first two seasons of Total Drama and later co-creator of Grojband, and Joey So.

"The show is about 12-year-old Eric Needles, the sidekick of the world's greatest superhero of his world, Maxum Man. However, Maxum Man just suddenly vanished." Rinky explained. "Eric now lives at Maxum Man's mansion where he is watched over by Maxum Man's supercomputer named Maxum Brain."

"The location takes place in Splitsboro, a town literally divided between superheroes and supervillains." Barry added. "When not messing around in the mansion, Eric goes to the Academy for Aspiring Sidekicks, a place where kids like him are trained by the school's headmaster Professor Pamplemoose to become the sidekicks of Splitsboro's superheroes."

"Now with his friends, the guy who actually wants to be a villain, Trevor, the popular girl, Vana and the Yandere Kitty Ko, they go on all kinds of misadventures, dealing with villains, along with Maxum Man's archenemy Master XOX." Rinky explained. "As well as rival superheroes, while surviving his school's intense sidekick training methods and keeping Maxum Man's disappearance secret from the rest of the world. "

"Unfortunately, Eric has… Average skills and even worse luck and he ended up getting into a lot of trouble whether it would be his own fault or not…" Barry frowned.

"Okay, okay, time out! I am sorry but I CAN'T find myself to be hyped about this show!" Rinky frowned. "Like, it has the exact same problem with Total Drama Island. Nearly everyone is a-hole!"

"Unfortunately, Rinky is right." Barry sighed. "Even Eric has his mean streak. Not helping is just like Total Drama Island, the cartoon relied a lot on toilet humour. On the OTHER hand, it is a cult classic."

"Why!?" Rinky exclaimed.

"Apparently because of the way it parodied the superhero genre, the numerous cool gadgets that appear throughout the show, the romantic relationships between the show's characters, the solid animation and visual gags, and the underlying satire of authoritarianism and classism represented through the relationship between supers and sidekicks." Barry said, reading off his information.

"Even if that is all true, they can't do that and make everyone a jerk!" Rinky scolded. "It is having your cake and eating it too!"

"I guess…" Barry frowned. "Look, I am trying to be nice because it is clear that Xero invited Kitty for a reason."

"Look, Sidekick isn't… The WORST cartoon I ever heard of but I felt like there are better Canadian cartoons to choose from." Rinky frowned.

"This is going from the guy who actually liked Angela Anaconda." Barry muttered, crossing his arms.

"Hey!" Rinky roared.

Barry let out a deep sigh. "Sorry… We could only have so much enthusiasm as our creator. I will send you Kitty's fighting abilities. Back to you guys."

The camera then went to a frowning Drake and Ashley.

"Oh, that is not a good sign." Ashley muttered.

Drake just sighed before reading the tablet. "Well, Kitty is actually skilled in martial arts and is good with gizmos."

"...So they made the Asian character with martial arts and the smart one. It is a good thing Catherine isn't here, she would have a field day." Ashley muttered.

"I don't know. She COULD do well depending on how other people see Sidekick or Kitty." Drake said. "And she IS one of the nicer characters even though that is not saying much."

"Plus, like Rinky said, she is a Yandere so she is the most determined person from her node to do justice, even if it is just to impress Eric." Ashley shrugged.

"ERIC X MANDY FOREVER! ERIC X KITTY OR ERIC X VANA NEVER!" Rinky chanted from off-screen.

"RINKY, QUIET!" Barry scolded from off-screen.

Drake and Ashley let out a sigh in unison.

BOWSER

NODE: SUPER SMASH BROS/SUPER MARIO BROS

Drake's eyes lit up at this. "Now THAT is a palette cleanser!"

"Especially since Bowser's popularity has gone up since the latest movie!" Ashley added. "Which is really impressive seeing that he was always popular!"

"I know, right? His song, 'Peaches' from said movie even made it to the Billboard Top 100!" Drake grinned. "I said it before and I said it again, Jack Black is PERFECT for Bowser!"

Ashley chuckled. "Would this segment also pick up your spirits?"

The camera then went to a grinning Rinky. "Will it ever!? Granted, not like we have to do so much because… Well, it is MARIO. You ALL should know about him."

"His early games revolutionised gaming as a whole, consistently getting good platformers in 2D AND 3D!" Barry agreed. "Along with a lot of spinoffs! Including parties, puzzle games, kart racing, RPGs and of course, the sports!

"He made playing tennis and golf fun! I didn't even know that was even possible!" Rinky agreed.

"There is so much to talk about Mario, but in a brief summary, what you see is what you get? We wouldn't be anything in the gaming world without Mario and no matter how things will turn out, he will ALWAYS be the face of gaming!" Barry agreed.

The camera then went to a nodding Drake. "It is more than alright! As long as you both got your spirit back from the last segment!"

"Now just like with the node description, what you see is what you get with Bowser." Ashley said. "He has super strength, super toughness, fire breath, using his spiky shell for offence AND defence. AND he is deceptively fast."

"Also, if we are looking at the latest games, he wields the Bowzooka, a bazooka that hits for heavy AOE damage!" Drake grinned. "He can also summon Rabbid Mechakoopas to increase his oppressive pressure or to distract someone!"

"Bowser may be with Asgore now. Now he hasn't lost his devilish nature and I have no reason to doubt that he will show that in the ring!" Ashley beamed.

DEMYX

NODE: KINGDOM HEARTS

Ashley's eyes widened before looking at Drake in worry. The vampire had a stern glare on his face before breathing in and breathing out.

"...I admit. Out of all of the potential first original characters from Kingdom Hearts, I think he is a more than a solid candidate." Drake said, finally.

Ashley chuckled nervously. "I mean to be fair, he WAS a major part of the story in the first tournament."

"Yeah and it was so weird because that aquamancer plan didn't go anywhere, thanks to Junko." Drake noted.

"Maybe Orange-Ratchet included the plan out-of-universe just to have more aquamancers in the eventual hero group because he likes them?" Ashley asked.

"Regardless, even though his only fight was in II, test me it was MORE than enough to give him a proper moveset." Drake said, chuckling nervously.

"Yes, with his sitar, Arpeggio, he could summon pillars of water, send out lots of balls of water and propel himself forward while leaving even more pillars of water." Ashley added.

"And of course, he cannot forget his infamous move where he could summon water clones of himself." Drake said before gritting teeth. "Thank Dracula there is no time limit on these things…"

"AND they are weak to fire." Ashley added. He then paused. "Yeah, please don't ask. I don't get it either."

"So yeah, love him or hate him, he is a good character to have alongside Sulley." Drake nodded.

GATO

NODE: KING OF FIGHTERS XV/FATAL FURY

"Wait, isn't he the guy who barely got cut in the roster for the third Battle of the Luminaries?" Ashley asked.

"Yes, maybe if I had the King of Dinosaurs on the Verse team instead of the Ash one, he could have made it." Drake sighed.

"Who do you think would have gotten the boot?" Ashley said, tilting his head.

"Alice." Drake answered. "But at the same time, if I did that, I would have had no newcomers in XIV that didn't make the cut in XV made it in. Even SYLVIE got in eventually."

The two then shrugged. And just like that, the camera went to Barry and Rinky who were both looking confused.

"...I didn't understand ANY of that." Rinky said.

"...Maybe we have to be on an UVR staff from the start to get it?" Barry asked before shrugging. "Anyway, Fatal Fury is SNK's most iconic fighting game, besides the King of Fighters, of course."

"Indeed. It is where characters like Terry Bogard, Geese Howard, Mai Shiranui and many others originated from!" Rinky nodded. "The story is simple. Geese has killed Terry's father and now he, his brother, Andy and their Muay Thai friend, Joe joined them.

"As you could expect, the series spawned multiple games, including a future spinoff called Mark of the Wolves and is getting a sequel." Barry nodded. "Still no new news on that, but we DO know that Billy is returning."

"It would be interesting to see Billy seeing in the Fatal Fury timeline, Geese is dead." Rinky noted. "But regardless, Fatal Fury is still going strong with With Terry showing up in Super Smash Bros and both Fighting EX Layers, Mai showing up in Dead or Alive 5 & 6 and Geese showing up in Tekken 7!"

"Yes, that is…" Barry said before doing a double take. "Wait… What!?

"Yeah, apparently there is a new Fighting EX Layer in the mix. And instead of the 2D-ish game it was, it seems to be going back to its roots by being able to sidestep." Rinky noted.

Barry's eyes lit up. "That's great, Rinky! As much as I loved Fighting EX Layer, I admit that the stage movement went rigid compared to the original EX games!"

"Agreed! So far, we only saw Terry and Allen but…" Rinky started.

Suddenly, the two heard a whistle. Both Barry and Rinky's eyes widened before sheepishly sitting back.

"Back to you guys!" Barry said, chuckling nervously.

The camera then went back to a snickering Drake and an exasperated Ashley.

"I know that as an OC of Tinyhammer, we should promote any Fighting EX Layer stuff any chance we get, but not on SOMEONE ELSE'S segment." Ashley scolded.

"Still, I am definitely going to make a note of that." Drake said. "But yeah, you are right. Onto Gato's fighting style."

Ashley nodded before reading his tablet. "Apparently, Gato is a rushdown fighter that has… 'Demon Flips'. What in heaven and hell is a Demon Flip?"

"It is when a fighting game character does a forward flip and has so many offensive options for certain situations." Drake explained. "Akuma was the one who first had that move."

"Ah, so he is a tricky, offensive fighter." Ashley noted.

"Yeah, and he plays for keeps. No, really, he is one of the most brutal people in the KoF roster." Drake winced. "In terms of fighting style AND personality."

Ashley gulped nervously. "And with him barely missing out of this tournament, it seems he has every right to be even more mad."

BEAKY BUZZARD

NODE: LOONEY TUNES

Ashley raised an eyebrow. "Pretty shy for a buzzard."

"Yeah, he is considered the runt of the litter due to him being shy and slow-witted." Drake frowned.

"Sheesh, no wonder it took him that long to enter the arena." Ashley winced. "I haven't seen someone hesitate to enter the arena like that since Fluttershy in the second Battle of the Luminaries."

"To be fair, it is not that he is completely incompetent. Apparently, he once brought home a big-ass dragon for his family." Drake reminded.

Ashley jumped at this. "Wait, really!?"

"Yes, sometimes your biggest enemy is yourself." Drake shrugged. "Now as of right now, from what I could gather, the only variant Beaky has is the Undertaker one."

"Oh, he is a wrestling variant?" Ashley asked. "That should come in handy."

Drake almost fell off his chair. "N-No, as in the ones that deal with coffins."

"Oh. That explains the outfit he was wearing before entering the arena." Ashley said before doing a double-take. "Wait, if he is so shy, how come he came in that variant right off the back."

"Because his Undertaker variant got released before the original." Drake answered.

Ashley blinked twice. "...HUH?"

"Yeah, I don't get it either." Drake shrugged. "But yeah, sometimes it is okay to start small. But that doesn't mean they won't be prominent. Again, Beaky brought home a DRAGON."

LAUNCHPAD McQUACK

NODE: DISNEY TELEVISION ANIMATION ALL-STARS/DUCKTALES 1987

Drake and Ashley blinked twice at this.

"Umm… I know that this tournament is more focused on cartoons than video games but it is still odd for LAUNCHPAD to be the final fighter instead of Bowser." Ashley noted.

"On the other hand, I don't think Bowser will be as patient as Buzzy as Launchpad was." Drake shrugged.

Ashley raised an eyebrow. "Could have fooled me seeing how Bowser was with Lemmy in the third Battle of the Luminaries."

Drake chuckled nervously before shrugging. "Anyway, last one, boys!"

The camera then went with a big grin. "Ducktales! Woo-woo! Ending off big with explaining BOTH Ducktales!"

"Um, Rinky, you may want to look at the sub-node name again." Barry frowned.

Rinky blinked twice before turning to the side.

"Wait… 1987?" Rinky asked.

"In hindsight, we should have figured that out when we saw Launchpad's name period." Barry sighed, shaking his head. "The 2017 version is NOT a fighter."

"But… But Della Duck is in the cast!" Rinky pointed out. "What the heck is going on!?"

Barry just groaned. "Let's get this over with: Ducktales, or rather the 1987 version that jump-started the trend of Disney television cartoons."

"Wait a minute… I thought the Wuzzles and the Adventures of the Gummi Bears appeared BEFORE Ducktales?" Rinky asked.

"Yes and while I DO suppose that they have seniority, not many people talk about them much." Barry shrugged. "It is based off of Carl Beaks' old comics where it stars Donald Duck's billionaire uncle, Scrooge McDuck and his nephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie."

"...It is SO weird to see those boys basically as clones as each other after watching the 2017 version." Rinky muttered. "Anyway, the premise is that Donald Duck joined the Navy and his nephews are left with Scrooge. They then proceeded to go on various adventures AND misadventures in the pursuit of treasure."

"The cartoon was actually going to be a big risk due to a time when big budgets simply were not devoted to made-for-tv animation, but they pulled it off!" Barry grinned. "It's considered a breakthrough in the industry, paving the way for the higher-quality, higher-budgeted shows in western animation."

"With a whopping ONE HUNDRED episodes, DuckTales was one of the longest-lived of Disney's television cartoons!" Rinky grinned. "It spawned a theatrical film and two licensed games with one of them getting a remake from WayForward. I think it even inspired Shovel Knight to do his usual pogo attack!"

"Overall, it was a classic and paved the way for a bigger remake. BUT we will get to that soon enough." Barry said. "Until then, we are done."

Rinky plopped in his chair. "Finally! Man, this was fun but also so exhausting!"

"Be grateful that we took Carver and company's approach of splitting up the recap of the first section in three parts." Barry warned. He then smiled. "But yeah, this was definitely fun. I truly feel alive!"

"I know, right? I haven't felt this way since we were on Survivor!" Rinky grinned. "I hope that we will see more fun things to talk about!"

The camera then went to a smiling Drake and Ashley.

"Glad to hear it, boys!" Drake grinned.

"You two are doing great!" Ashley offered. "We are happy to have you with us!"

"Now onto Launchpad or rather the 1987 version of him." Drake said. "Like a bumbler, Launchpad is actually the Big Guy of the group just like Donald Duck, acting somewhat like a bodyguard for Scrooge and the boys."

Ashley blinked twice. "I could understand the boys. But Scrooge?"

Drake merely shrugged. "Even still, there are some moments where he is a badass! He is actually a skilled pilot!"

Ashley paused. "...We ARE talking about the same Launchpad right?"

"Yeah, he could pilot any vehicle just fine." Drake said before chuckling nervously. "He just sucks at the landing."

"...I mean Scrooge has to keep him around for a REASON." Ashley pointed out.

"And Darkwing Duck. He was his sidekick, remember?" Drake asked.

"Oh, yeah, I remember now!" Ashley realised. "And that show is just as action-oriented as Ducktales, right?"

"Yep!" Drake grinned. "Launchpad may not have the skills to be the big star, he has gotten himself to be a dependable guy, time and time again!"

"Well, that is everyone!" Ashley said. "Fuzzy, Spike and Bowser are Big Guys for eighteen people will be eliminated."

"Also, the Side Battle will be Mike Wazowski from Kingdom Hearts versus Mac & Bloo from Cartoon Network: Punch-Time Explosion!" Drake explained. He then paused. "Huh… Weird to see a first Side Battle that DOESN'T involve a villain."

"And over a prank too." Ashley asked, rolling his eyes. He then brightened up. "Voting ends June 14th so get your votes in!"

"And we hope that you will give the second Tournament of Kikai the love it deserves!" Drake grinned.
