Chapter 3: Noire's Mansion
As we enter Noire's magnificent mansion and after passing a few armed guards, I notice we're in what looks like a massive multi story car park with lots and lots of cars parked all over the place. The car park looks rather elegant, new and grand, while at the same time looking rather futuristic. There are plenty of cars of immense varieties parked all over the place as well as other vehicles like bikes, vans, coaches and even limousines, and there are even vehicles that are amphibious.
She's also working on cars that can fly in the air at such a fast speed, for an excellent length of time and at a high height, along with great acceleration, deceleration, ascension and descending speed. With these flying cars, it will allow even cheaper more personal flight and can even be useful for military purposes, allowing deadly air strikes before switching to the ground to help avoid enemy anti air fire, and going underground or securing certain levels.
All of the cars, the vehicles here along with looking brand new look incredibly expensive due to the finish, and there's also the fact that they're all highly customised and have pleasant exteriors. They are all nicely decorated in the Lastation colours with different types of paint including metallic paint, glitter, and there are also cars with different colours in different parts of the car, in which at the middle the colours fade to the other colour, that are full of various designs of all things Lastation be it the CPUs or the characters, or the consoles or technology. Some of the vehicles don't appear to be from the modern day rather in the past, though they're from every era. It is indeed impressive, and I wouldn't be surprised if this car park of hers also serves as a museum from time to time, and attracts lots and lots of people and the different cars that people have.
She must be unbelievably wealthy to own all of these impressive top of the range high tech vehicles, along with all of these antique vehicles individually being worth lots and lots of money. I wouldn't be surprised if she's the richest CPU by an amount of money that is hard to imagine such a person would have, as a result of the cars, the mansion and from her businesses, which she explains to me she runs to help pay for running the glorious nation. I bet she lets her people borrow them or rent them, she must be the luckiest CPU to have all this cool stuff. Mind you I actually believe she has beyond deserved it for being the leader I see before me, and she certainly puts them to good use with races and shows and other events.
There's something that I really enjoy about being in a multi-story car park which for me I see as a building for cars, but there are other things I like about being in them. One of them is how as Noire drives around, the engine makes a beautiful noise and the interior of the car park help make the noise really echo, like a cathedral amplifying an instrument being played. It's awesome to hear the booming music from the Bugatti's engine. Another thing is how I love the smell of the petrol that lingers inside car parks a lot, and there's loads of it in here. Although I assume this to actually be fuel that is renewable and environmentally friendly, not to mention not producing any side effects like radiation or other nasty surprises.
With this said I do find the fuel to smell like petrol, and I do find it hard to describe why I love the smell of petrol. I think it's most likely because petrol to me reminds me of the modern day, and I suppose in a way it also reminds me of technology, because the car is a modern invention, plus which it is the same colour as Lastation. Although I love the smell so much, I know that I shouldn't smell it up close and just stick to smelling it in the air when I'm in car parks or petrol stations.
After seeing what Noire explains to me is a portion of all of her magnificent vehicles in this car park, in this fantastic mansion of hers, the Lastation CPU then drives into the outside lift big enough for a couple of cars via a ramp. Once inside the lift she gets out and pushes the button to take us to the 10th floor, after which she gets back in. If that is just a portion of her multi story car park I have seen, just how many vehicles does she personally own? No doubt it's a massive number of them.
I then have a look inside the lift and like that not only is it futuristic and grand as well as it being gigantic, it also has a nice clear view of her capitol. PS3 City looks so beautiful with the architecture, and all of those lovely features of the beautiful wonderfully designed buildings, the parks and the lakes, just everything about it looks so beautiful. The lift ascending helps in us seeing more and more of it, and we also see different decorations of these monumental skyscrapers, while we go up and up. My tour guide Noire enjoys this ascension as well as the view too, she stares at the view with me for quite a while with a smile before turning to face me.
"My gut feeling is that you may have a few questions you want to ask me, go ahead I'm an open book." Noire said to me with such a caring smile on her face, her body language reinforcing what she said to me.
Can she read my mind? I have plenty of questions like what technology does she have? What would she recommend showing me in Lastation? What abilities does our CPU have? What abilities do I have? How is Lastation faring in the war? What can I do to help them win? What sorts of characters live in Lastation? It would be awesome to meet some of them. But the most important question I have is what does she know about my origins?
"How did you find me Noire?" I ask her with much curiosity in my tone and body language.
"That's a very good question Black. I knew you'd be coming. One of my abilities is that I know a lot of the stuff that goes on in this landmass, which is a tremendous help for me. I can sense that you have a similar aura to what I have, I mean you look like a male version to my other form. You could be my brother, but all I know is that you have similar abilities to me, and I remember you being very close to me. It's just unfortunate that I don't know when or where, and I wish I did, and I can only hope that that wish comes true soon." She explains to me. Though she spoke in her usual tone I can sense the disappointment and frustration in her voice, that she couldn't answer my question as well as she liked. But she didn't sound annoyed or aggressive at all however.
That could explain why my absolute faith in her is very powerful to say the least. I wonder whether I had any previous influence in making my CPU as flawless as she is. I'd be ever so honoured if that was to be the case.
"It's alright Noire it's a good answer, and I'm sure there's good reason for you not knowing I mean look at me. The thing is do you know if I was born in Lastation or anywhere in Gameindustri for that matter?" I ask her with a puzzling look on my face and in a curious tone, while very appreciative of the answer she has managed to provide me.
"Thank you, I appreciate your understanding very much. As for your second question, nope you're from another planet maybe another universe. It's hard to explain and it's hard to understand, I mean I'm not sure why myself. Before you came about yesterday I "sensed" your presence and your profile showed up on my PS3, that was when I figured out you would arrive at Lastation today at that exact spot. But for some odd reason it's only up until that point that I remember you, but even then I don't have that many memories of you at all. I can only hope that they'll come back no matter how long before that happens." She explains further. I can still sense her sounding a bit glum with being in the dark as much as me, though it is less apparent than before.
It is weird that Noire knew of me after my profile showed up on her PS3. I can't help but wonder whether Noire came from the same place, and experienced the same amnesia as me. This amnesia being the kind where it locks our memories for good, and the only way to unlock them is to be shown certain stuff that triggers our memories. Though what it unlocks and not, makes no sense whatsoever, but at least I should be glad that it's possible for them to recover, and I have a feeling that memories will come back sooner than I think, even if I am unsure on the percentages.
"Interesting how I'm not from here, what about you? Are you from here and if not do you know where from? Also have you ever had amnesia?" I ask her still sounding curious, as numerous thoughts about all this flood through my mind.
"I do know you from before, that's for sure but where or when I'm not sure. However I remember you having a similar relationship to my younger sister Uni. The thing is I don't remember life before a certain point.
My first memory here was during the Console War 5th Generation. I can remember taking the role of being the leader here along with Uni. I also remember being able to use special skills such as driving, flying, shooting with flawless accuracy, knowing everything in this landmass, being able to work unbelievably hard, and doing a wonderful job of keeping this place afloat.
I also have a HUD that tells me my ammo count, weapon I'm using, grenade and tactical grenade count, friends, enemies, etc. and I can change my vision to mimic night time, heat, magnetic and I'm also immune to flash bangs and stun grenades. It's a mystery though as to why I'm here and how we got here but I'm keen to learn more.
I do happen to think that I came from the same place as you, though I don't know where." She explains with more joy this time. I can tell from her body language she enjoys speaking about the things she's proud of like her people, her possessions and her abilities, and I don't blame her considering how she wants to do well, and there's plenty of evidence to suggest that she has.
I think I can confirm now for sure that I'm not in that horrible nonsense Neptunia, but a more general universe that involves gaming. I wonder whether I'm in a Gamer's Heaven because I, like you have noticed some differences between the Noire we remember and the one we see right now.
Either this is a different Noire who looks like the one I remember from games but is a completely different person and a much, much better personality, or maybe one of my abilities is to have certain characters portrayed in a certain way. This is because I didn't want Noire to be a tsundere, I wanted Noire to be friendly and caring.
Another reason could be that she's acting like the typical character that falls in love with the player, which I've seen that before, though come to think of it there's nothing to suggest that's the case and her actions and body language are genuine. Or maybe she could actually be someone I knew from before face to face, and perhaps we had a relationship together. Which leaves me to 2 other questions: Who exactly is Noire and who exactly is me? I'll explain what I mean:
Maybe we're gods/goddesses of Lastation, maybe we're gamers who are powerful because of the way this world works. Perhaps we're both really from somewhere else which I'm totally convinced to be the case, and have learned our skills there. Though maybe we really are from this place, and there's a reason we suspect it to be false. It might be a combination of the 3 possibilities. You're asking me I don't even know. Maybe I'll find out later, I hope I can get more information, there has to be a purpose to life, a purpose to a story. Oh well at least sometimes ambiguity can be fun right?
If you were to ask me though, I reckon me and Noire have gaming like abilities as opposed to god like abilities, considering where we are, and perhaps have learned skills before coming here in things like driving. That's probably why she's a pro driver, but she used a car instead of teleportation. It doesn't bother me though, who cares? I honestly prefer seeing Noire driving a car like an experienced racer, than seeing her flying around. Perhaps it's because it's more realistic and I prefer things to be more logical. It might be that Noire is able to fly but in a different way considering the futuristic technology that it has.
It is then I come up with another question to ask her.
"Noire, when I asked why you wanted me here you said it's because I had skills that will help us prosper, what skills did you mean?" I ask her wondering what I can do, especially since it'll be useful to bear in mind for the future, just in case.
"Good question Black. You can drive really well at high speeds, you're an excellent shot, able to handle any weapon. You are also an excellent leader and a strategist, not only that but I have reason to believe you are what I call a gamer." She explains to me with passion taking pride in explaining what I can do, her body language reinforces what she says as well.
I think that makes sense ish. Think of it this way when you play a video game, the game in most cases is rigged for the player to win. Now being as I must be a decent gamer because Noire says so, and I recognize characters, not to mention I'm in a gaming world. With that considered, then it must be safe to say that I will win and whoever I support will win, maybe it's similar to movies and novels and other fictional media despite sometimes not being realistic. In other words, the skills I have performed in video games, are transferable to the skills I can do here.
"It makes sense, it's too bad I have amnesia. But it is weird how I can remember certain stuff, that's probably down to being introduced to it though. I just hope my amnesia does not affect the skills I am able to do." I say to her, my voice and body language suggesting very much that I am trying to take all of this in.
After seeing her nodding in agreement, taking in what I say to her. I then notice my driver looking as though she's thinking, recalling long term memories that she has.
"I must have had the same amnesia as you. I definitely think with this amnesia you start with not remembering anything, then as you're exposed to certain things if you knew something about it in the past, you'll remember it. But unfortunately you will not know when or where it will happen. This explains why neither I nor you have any recollection of life before being here, despite remembering certain things. This could explain why I trust you enough for you to get in my car, and for you to live with us even if my memory of you isn't as flawless as I'd love for it to be." She replies to me smiling, though at the end she sounds a bit regretful for not remembering me as well as she would like, and her body language reinforces this as well.
And maybe that's why she's not a tsundere to me, because this Noire never was and the one I remembered as a tsundere must have been seen from somewhere else, probably a game. It is now after the discussion and thinking that we arrive at the 10th floor, our destination. The door opens and she slowly drives out. Noire finds a parking space and turns to face me, her face tells me that she has something important to say perhaps a proposition.
"Tell you what, why don't I give you a little test, to prove you're my equal and so you can see that your talent is still there." She says smiling playfully, her mouth and body language indicating to me that she has absolute faith in me.
Suddenly, I become concerned in response to what she says, as I hope it ain't what I think it is. I mean, I hope I don't have to fight her or anything, considering my previous memories have come back of me fighting her, even if that Noire is probably different to this one here. Oh god that would be really awful, especially after only just meeting her and her showing me her city and part of her mansion, her palace. I just cannot bear to fight her and I remember it being so awful to fight her, my own goddess.
"Test? What kind of test?" I ask with curiosity concealing my concern as best as I can.
Well I try to conceal my concern, my depression at the thought of fighting her, as even if the circumstances are different and there's nothing to suggest she's the same one, the experience makes me uncomfortable with that idea, even if I extremely doubt it'll be a repeat. But I think she can sense it in my voice. I knew if this was the tsundere I remember seeing before, she would probably bite my head off and lecture me about the importance of training.
I guess this Noire would also value the importance of training as well. But this is a Noire who's more understanding and I think she would know that I'm also a fan of training, and that I would never be reluctant without a very good reason. With her body language reassuring me, as does her smile showing care and compassion, once again I am calmed, and no doubt this is not what I think. It has to be bad memories, bad memories of her person, her place and the events with her, none of them repeated here, and every bad memory I had is groundless here. I just have to take this attitude every time a new supposed bad memory comes along, otherwise it could be a weakness that Lastation's enemies could potentially exploit.
"If you don't mind me asking are you alright Black? I'm concerned you may not like the idea of me giving you a little test. Is there something wrong?" She asks in a reassuring, caring, friendly voice, reinforcing what her body language has been saying to me for a while now.
I decide to explain this to her, as I have no wish to shrug it off or lie to her at all.
"If I'm honest, I've just had bad memories of how I had to fight you or at least someone that resembled you lots of times. I really hate the idea of having to fight you, it sickens me to no end. I'm not sure I'm making much sense to be honest with regards the memories. It's nothing to do with the test if that's what you're worried about, and I'm absolutely sure they won't be what I remembered. It's just bad memories that's all, I'm fine now." I awkward explain while trying to reassure her that I'm absolutely fine.
I wasn't sure how she would react to what I said, but she responds by placing a reassuring hand on my shoulder, massaging it gently with a caring friendly smile. I notice how although her claws on her hands are really sharp and I do feel them, they don't feel sharp at all to me. Instead they feel very soft, perhaps soothing and I find that to be very odd. I wonder what the reason can be, I'll have to ask her if she knows why at the appropriate time.
"It's alright Black, I completely understand. For some peculiar reason I also have memories of the series that happened to have featured me in it. And I was fought time after time, game after game and it made me sick to my stomach. Not least of which it was supposed to be available on my PlayStations, and yet my perspective has never been seen. My portrayal was absolutely awful, and I supposed you expected to see me like that. While the series was dreadful, I can at least appreciate how you object to the idea of fighting me, and I am very happy to hear that. I love that fact very much.
Rest assured Black, I will never make you or my loyal subjects fight me as that would be boring and that would be terrible and horrible. I would prefer for you to fight by my side, like a friend, an ally, a partner, so that we can end this war and accomplish my goal of peace and prosperity for all. I have much more fun fighting with my people in any battles they have to fight, for the good of Lastation as well as for the good of Gameindustri.
For one thing fighting me would be impossible for you or any of my people. This is because in Gameindustri it is impossible to commit friendly fire, which hopefully will explain why my claws don't hurt you at all, despite being in contact with them. Yep we cannot kill each other and we cannot harm each other, it's physically impossible but we can touch each other and heal each other. It's even impossible to damage or destroy any friendly vehicles or buildings. As a matter of fact why not try and shoot me? Don't worry it'll be alright, I've got an unbelievable amount of health. I'm a CPU." She explains to me in a soothing, caring, understanding voice.
Initially she sounded quite sad when she spoke of having to be fought, but afterwards she sounded more and more positive as she carried on talking. I found the order to shoot her to be quite odd, and I don't exactly feel comfortable in doing it. But none the less I know she knows what she's doing, and this is to prove her theory, and like the other bad memories this lack of comfort changes to comfort itself. With that said, I decide to go for her leg which shouldn't be too lethal. I quickly get out my gun and try to fire at her leg repeatedly, but no bullets come out. It's rather odd considering I know I did reload it.
All I can say is that her theory must be correct, friendly fire is in fact impossible. It brings a huge smile to my face that not only will I not be fighting my CPU, I cannot and instead I will be fighting with her, what I have always wanted since seeing her and learning what I can of here. For me I'm the sort of person who doesn't want to fight who they are, but be who they are, and I'm pleased that this is the case. This rule will help tremendously as I won't have to worry about firing at or worse, killing any allied people by accident or even causing any accidental damage especially considering how easy it is when one gets into fire fights.
After a few pulls of the trigger with no bullets coming out, I holster the gun bringing a really big smile to our faces, and chuckles of joy, only for Noire to then kiss me with even more joy.
"Yep friendly fire is impossible my friend. I know how happy it makes you feel to know that you won't be fighting me, you'll be fighting with me. It makes me feel happy too, now for your test Black; your driving test." The driver explains to me sounding very pleased with that fact, along with enthusiastic with what she's proposing, and her body language says this too.
I definitely feel relieved and excited as I enjoy driving, with the massive speed, the adrenaline and drifting. Even though right now, I feel curious as to what sort of driving test this will be?
"What sort of driving test Noire?" I ask sounding rather curious along with excitement at the idea of driving in Lastation after seeing the skyscrapers, the roads and the parks, all of them are so pleasing to the eye full of lovely and wonderful features.
This question puts a cheeky smile on her face as well as a friendly giggle, as we both think she's got an awesome test for me.
"One that I use to train professional racers so I can use them as escorts or in combat. It's actually a really fun test and you may perhaps be very familiar with this one." She explained with much enthusiasm in her voice and body language.
A fun driving test eh? Sounds awesome. I'd love to drive a car considering all the cars I've seen, both old and new and with this in mind, I can't help but wonder, what car she'd want me to drive and what sort of test it would be? I know it to be fun though.
She points to an old looking car which does look familiar, and I find myself thinking where I saw the car from. It's a vehicle I like that's for sure.
"You see that 192 Chevrolet Chevelle over there?" She asks me while pointing to the cool distinctive vehicle.
"Yeah?" I reply trying to think about the name but it doesn't ring any bells at all, maybe because I never knew the name but saw it before.
She parks the car next door to it, stopping the engine and turning to me and face me.
"You'll be driving it." She says with such a flirtatious smile.
We get out of the car and head towards it. I notice the car is black with a silver back bumper, consisting of two red lights on each side at the back next to each other. Hang on I now know where I've seen the car from before, it's the vehicle from the first Driver game, the one you drive in the car park. Ah the good old car park Driver test. I vaguely remember trying to do the test on the PS1 though it wasn't that easy, it would be interesting to see how well I'd do here considering the environment I am in.
As I get in with much enthusiasm, appreciating the interior of its era with its black leather seats and the speedometer being a sequence of numbers that go up in 10s. I notice on the top left of my hood is an old analogue stopwatch, and on the right hand side is a piece of paper badly ripped up with some writing on it. It says this:
Burnout
Handbrake
Slalom
180 °
360 °
Reverse 180 °
Speed
Break Test
Lap
Funnily enough we're in an area of this car park that resembles the one from Driver. The resemblance is particularly with the number of pillars, the locations and the number of parked cars there which is a lot less than in the other areas, and this must be due to replicating the challenge here. Though these ones are completely different to what I remember as well as the actual interior of this car park. I notice the steering wheel is actually a PS3 controller very nice, and I think it'll be easier since I don't have to worry about gear sticks and pressing my foot down.
"I'm assuming it's X to go, circle for burnout, triangle for handbrake and square for brake and reverse, right?" I look at her and ask her as if to be sure.
"Yeah that's right Black. Let me know when you're ready, I have faith in you. You can do it." She nods with a confident flirtatious smile even giving me a kiss for good luck.
I would have thought that I'd be concerned, nervous and I'd worry that I'll embarrass myself and let her down, because of me being unsure of even my own abilities. Instead, my confidence grows and grows, and my adrenaline surges due to the excitement of this test, and it's nice to know how Noire shares my increasing confidence and even has faith in me. I even think of a plan of how to do this. In fact right now, I'm so confident it's almost as if I'm on automatic as…
First perform burnout then break at last minute, reverse and do 180. Next do lap, go anti clockwise, end with 180 press handbrake as well. Slalom be quick and careful, finally do 360, estimated time of completion: 25 seconds. Chances of success: likely, test: passed with flying colours.
I turn to face Noire after thinking of my plan. It's weird that this would happen. I never knew I could do that, it's a good ability, and it reminds me of something familiar, perhaps elementary.
"OK Noire I'm ready." I say with confidence smiling at her while I think of my strategy consistently.
She smiles at me and nods in return, appreciating that I'm going to give it my all. I love her spirit, her understanding and how I find her to be such a morale boost. I wouldn't be surprised if I could come up with at least 100 reasons why she's awesome to me, during my time with her, who knows it might go up to 200 or possibly 300.
Note: Readers please listen to Driver Soundtrack 12 while reading this bit.
As soon as the test starts, I quickly hold circle which causes the car to do a burnout, as the tyres screech and the engine drones distinctively. I notice the car sounds exactly like the one from the game in the parking lot, especially the engine echoing in the car park and the tyres screeching. Before I hit the wall I break pressing triangle and square, It's quite thrilling as the car stops very close to the wall.
"Whoa!" Noire screams in panic that sounds fairly familiar.
I notice Burnout, Hand Break, Speed and Break Test are crossed out in red. Excellent 4 maneuverers in 2 actions, I have no time to waste though so I reverse, then I use the stick to steer causing the tyres to screech again, stopping when reverse 180 gets crossed off. After which, I do a lap going anti clockwise as fast as I can. It is very fun to be driving around like this, it does bring back memories of me playing Driver.
I finish off the lap with a nice 180 by holding triangle and steering, just slalom and 360 left uncrossed now go, go, go. I drive around the pillars being careful but quick as if I'm overtaking lots of cars left, right, left, right, while trying to make my route as short as possible to save time. When I reach the other side I then head back. As soon as I see the slalom crossed out in red, I hold triangle steering with the stick, until I do a full circle. The tyres really screech now as I perform a doughnut spinning the car, as I see the surroundings of the car park spin around.
"Hey Black, OK, OK, OK." Noire pleads distinctively after I do the 360.
I notice I did the test in an unbelievable 24 seconds just as I thought and without crashing once. I also notice that it felt like an actual video game, only I could feel the car move, and I still feel the adrenaline flowing in my veins even now, after the excitement of being in control of a very fast car that had great acceleration. Although we probably would have been fine even if we crashed thanks to the friendly fire test, I really wanted to ensure we didn't. Noire turns to face me with a playful smile on her face, she's even giggling a bit.
"You're the man Black. You passed the test just as I thought and even better you got the same time as me, it proves you're my equal beyond question." She explains with pride, flirting quite a bit.
"The thing is are you OK? I could have sworn I made you scream a few times." I ask out of shock and concern, placing a reassuring caring hand on her lap.
She chuckles lovingly placing her hand on top of mine.
"Oh I was faking it, trying to make the test more realistic and help bring back memories for you. I like your driving a lot, it's just like mine. Well done Black, if I am definitely your sister, I'd be proud to call you my brother." She says it so casually yet I genuinely believe her.
She's not a tsundere, so therefore she wasn't really scared of my driving at all, and when she praises me she sounds as though she's very proud of me.
I have to admit it I do love her not as in my waifu but more like my sibling, as she's so much fun to be around. Ah how lucky I am to have such a wonderful relationship as such a person as Noire and she's as competent as she is nice.
The CPU of Lastation then gets her high tech touch screen phone out as she makes a call, putting it on speaker.
"Hi Uni, good news, I've got Black with me. We're heading upstairs and he's got the same time as me in that driving test of mine." She says sounding jolly and happy, smiling a lot and giving me one as Noire talks to her.
"Nice, all of us got 24 seconds and no crashes, OK see ya later." Uni replies in a similar tone.
Noire hangs up as I drive along in the car park floor; I notice a free parking space between two parked cars, and I drive past it by the time she hangs up. I reverse gaining speed, only to reverse into the parking space at quite a high speed with good timing. I break hard when I'm in and turn off the engine. Coincidently it is the same spot as when we started the test, and for me it's good to be back there.
"Impressive parking, fast but no damage. Not that causing damage is possible." She says to me with a big flirtatious smile, and the tone in her voice reinforces that smile, and it also says to me how impressed she is with me.
We both get out of the car, and head for a lift in a corner with a ramp out for pedestrians to the top floor of the bigger skyscraper which is floor 2200.
"If you don't mind me asking Noire, do you have any more fun tests lined up for me? Because I really like doing them and I want to prove to us that I have the skills you speak of." I ask her with much curiosity.
What I say makes her smile, clearly liking my attitude to this.
"I like that and as a matter of fact I do have some more tests for you, though right now I figured you'd be thirsty by now and would like to meet my younger sister Uni. She's someone I'm very proud of, she works very hard and she admires and looks up to me. She's also very loyal and wishes to help me in any way she can. She's also in charge of our surveillance and is a very talented sniper." She explains. When she talks of her sister I can sense it makes her feel warm and proud inside.
"I'm really looking forward to it. Thank you ever so much, you're so benevolent Noire." I reply to her.
I must admit I am thirsty right now but I prefer not to say. I do look forward to knowing what sort of high tech drinks they have here, or if it's just they have advanced technology for food and drink, or even both. As for Uni, I am starting to have memories of her from the series. Particularly with how I remember her representing the PSP.
I liked Uni, I loved how she fought with guns and I thought she was rather cute. It's also great how she wants to be like her older sister, that's admirable to emulate older siblings if they are good role models like Noire is. I also like how she helps out in any way she can by working hard, and doing plenty of training too.
It's such a shame that like her older sister she was never portrayed well at all, and I wish she was a bit older too considering what happened in the series. To see her be defeated and for her to be disrespected by pretty much everyone makes me sick to say the least.
At least I have hopes that she'll be a much better person here, and is treated much better as well. After all Noire's description was more positive regarding Uni compared to how I remember her from the series, and look at how Lastation and its CPU turned out to be here.
As we go up the futuristic lift of black marble with glass around, which provides another wonderful view of Lastation with the sky, the clouds, the other buildings along with the features there and roads held in suspension, I look around especially at Noire standing there smiling and flirting at me. I think of the excitement of meeting Uni for the first time here as we approach our floor. I really can't wait for it to happen, to see how she is here in which I'm confident it'll be way better than in the series.
