Chapter 11: Meeting Heihachi
Note: Readers please start listening to WWE Yokozuna Theme while reading this bit.
We are now in a large room, I've no idea what room it is but I'm guessing it's the dining room, as there is a low table and lots of low chairs. The room has some sort of wooden floor, and is decorated with cabinets as well as suits of armour from the era, there are also a few paintings as well as plates which depict Heihachi in all his might. I like the place as I like seeing architecture and culture of different eras as I find it fascinating and beautiful, and it's interesting to find that here they don't sit up high like I'm used to, instead they sit on the floor.
Myself, the man in the painting and Noire are sitting at the table along with a few guards, we are all talking about different things having dinner together. It's nice as I've had sushi, rice and other different foods from meat to fish to vegetables, and it's cooked in a certain way called Teppanyaki which is very nice. I'm not really familiar with this food, but it is rather tasty and nourishing, and I'm thankful we'll all had a fair share and not have to be quick with chop sticks, like in a certain ending of a certain character in a certain game.
As we dine together I have more memories of our host here Heihachi. If I'm honest I never liked what he did to his son throwing him off a cliff, for the purpose of toughening him up. I'd never do that to a sibling of mine as I'd train with love, understanding and show kindness, along with pride in their achievements and encouragement when they are not doing so well. It's no wonder his son became an evil devil consumed with rage. Yeah he even threw his grandson off a helicopter. But despite being the one to start all of the trouble off, he at least has some good qualities.
For some reason I find him particularly funny, not least with his appearance. I suppose it's because I liked his voice, his laughter and how he was involved in some humorous situations, in which because of my amnesia I cannot recall any despite playing the game before, though I'd know it when I see it. Then there is the fact that he has survived from stuff which would kill regular people, by sheer will power alone. But with those thoughts it makes me wonder what is Heihachi doing in Lastation? And whether he's similar to how he was like Parasoul, or is he different and perhaps a nicer person like our CPU Noire?
"..I'll happily dispatch some of my best engineers to begin work on constructing additional SAM sites, as well as a new gate along with Prism Towers at PS3 City. They are the best I have and they should be done in a couple of days." Heihachi says with a distinctive chuckle which I find funny.
I notice how he spoke in a different language, but my HUD showed me what he said in the language that the rest of us speak. It's really baffling that despite recognising his language, and being able to speak fluently in my language, I don't know what the languages are called. I suppose again it's the way my amnesia works.
I remember the Prism Towers from the video game Red Alert, as well as how powerful they were. I'm guessing they'll be able to take out enemy vehicles with one shot, like they did in the game. They'd be very useful in our defence, and hopefully with an excellent defence we can eventually take the fight to them.
"…Not only do we have some troops ready to arrive at PS3 City tomorrow, but we have also made some new weapons, if you are interested in having a look." Heihachi continues in the same tone.
"Sure where are they?" Noire asks him in a friendly manner and with a smile.
This I do find interesting how they both understand each other, despite speaking different languages, it definitely reminds me of the Tekken universe.
"My guards are bringing them to you now." Heihachi explains before chuckling again.
I hear marching footsteps approach as they walk on the wooden floor, and I eventually see some guards enter the room carrying weapons. I see what looks like a Tekken Force soldier, bringing in what I soon recognise to be an XM25, as well as other soldiers each carrying a weapon which consists of: A FGM-148 Javelin, a heavily customised ARX-160 assault rifle, a heavily customised P90 submachine gun, a double mini gun with a huge attached shield, a Recon drone and I notice a person who becomes invisible, due to him wearing an optical camouflage suit covering every part of his body.
I'm impressed with the weapons, especially with how futuristic and powerful they are. I know the XM25 to be a large launcher that includes a scope, and can fire multiple rounds before needing to be reloaded by a clip. I remember how The Javelin is a portable but large launcher with a special scope, that can shoot at targets from very far away using a fire and forget missile guidance system. The fire and forget missile guidance system allowing no requirement for further guidance after launch, and can even hit targets without the user seeing them. I can see the advantages of that as that allows the user to hide immediately, and to do other things.
I also know the ARX-160 is a futuristic assault rifle that I remember from the video game Ghosts, and I'm guessing this must be even better than the M8A1 rifle in numerous aspects. And finally I remember the P90 being a futuristic looking sub machine gun, that is capable of holding large magazines horizontally, and I can imagine them holding even more bullets than what I remember. All the weapons have a black colour scheme, and it intrigues me to know how powerful the Lastation versions of these high tech weapons are.
"I must say the weapons do look impressive." Noire says with a look to match.
Heihachi appreciates the compliment by giving a smile and then a warm hearty chuckle.
"The XM25 is simply a grenade launcher with a scope, but it's capable of holding 30 grenades in one clip." Heihachi explains to us in his booming voice.
It's impressive and what's more so, is how I notice the clip doesn't even look as though it could hold 30 rounds. I wonder how it's possible as I remember from Cod that it can only hold 4 rounds.
"How do you manage to get the clip to hold 30 rounds?" I ask Heihachi with much curiosity in my voice, as well as amazement.
"Simple we have found a way of making smaller bullets and smaller rounds, but they can still cause the same damage as its regular size, and have the same weight as a conventional clip. With this technology we can make weapons with extended magazines, without increasing the dimensions of the clip, only the capacity of the ammo. We're able to use it for all the weapons we have, increasing fire power and the chances of survival by a massive amount.
Thing is, these weapons will be specifically for you two, because these bullets are expensive, but we are trying to make them cheaper though. For the rest of the troops we have made bullets that are slightly smaller than the original, but are nowhere near as small as the bullets for you." He explains smiling before distinctively laughing again.
"Interesting." Noire says with a smile sounding and looking rather pleased to hear this.
Hmmm that is certainly useful, more ammunition without the weight. But it is then I am intrigued to find out about their ability to make people invisible.
"Yeah, how does the optical camo suit work?" I ask him with much curiosity in my voice.
"Nano bots, the suit is covered with Nano bots. They have special properties which can film what's behind you and then play what's behind you, allowing other people to only see what's behind the person no matter where they look. It happens all over your body and it works no matter what position you're in, or even if you're running. However I have yet to make it bullet proof or stain proof, but it will repair itself over time. I've got more to show you. Follow me; I will take you to them." Heihachi explains to us prideful of the technology he has to show us, and continuing his trademark chuckle.
We all leave the dining room and follow him; he leads us to a corridor full of the same yet beautiful architecture and furniture, though I see racks of different weapons of the era including swords, bows and spears. I also see distinctive ornaments and more paintings, in which I have seen the like before but I wouldn't know where from.
Eventually we head to a lift in a small room; it looks out of place as the room keeps up with the theme of this estate, but only in the sense of there being a lift, as it has a design which blends in with the décor of the place. Heihachi then presses the basement button.
The lift interior appears to have the same theme as the dining room and corridor with its floors, walls and features on them. It is very quick and we get out soon enough. I notice we're in some futuristic lab full of machinery and robotic arms, as well as various flat screen computers that appear to be touch screen. The interior is similar to that of Lastation with its black and whites.
There are a few fancy vehicles here which make my jaw drop completely, and whistle in amazement. The vehicles in question include a rather large gigantic black robot, which consists of a torso, a head, two arms and two legs like that of a human. I remember seeing it in Krazy Ivan and it's the Steel Cossack Power Suit, and it's very big indeed. Just as well the lab is very big as well. It's really hard to imagine the scale of these places that Lastation has but it is impressive to see.
I also see a large black tank with twin turrets, as well as a couple of mounted mini guns and two SAM Launchers as well, making me smile as I'm a big fan of tanks, especially large ones that are well armed and armoured. It even has optical camouflage which is amazing.
Another thing I see is a large black stealth bomber with a rather unique design, of being what I think is called flying wing shape. I'm sure it's very impressive, it definitely looks aerodynamic, and by the mere sight of this I am impressed just as I am with the massive tank and robot. The thing is I only see the bomber itself as well as its wheels sticking out, as it's parked on the ground and I am curious to know the interior of this thing. It'll probably be such an amazing sight as well, considering the facilities I have no doubt that it will have.
Heihachi then explains to us with enthusiasm about the robot.
"This robot called the Black Heart Robot is the best one we've ever produced. There is enough room to fit a person inside very easily. The robot can go 40mph and is very tough against shells and missiles; I believe it can even protect the person inside from deadly radiation. The sophisticated weapons include: 2 30mm cannons, 2 50mm cannons as well as 2 laser cannons. There's also plenty of homing missiles capable of taking out enemy hostile targets, be it air or ground. We just need to give it the green light and then you'll have it really soon." He explains with much passion and much excitement in his loud booming voice.
"Wonderful." Noire says with such a huge smile on her face.
I can tell she's excited to get her hands on more advanced weapons judging from her body language, I am too. It's interesting how the weaponry is similar to the ones from Krazy Ivan, hmmm. I do wonder if I'll even get to ride inside the big mech, it would be an awesome experience to do so. After seeing the powerful machine, we then head towards the tank.
"This tank called the Black Beast is built specifically for you, Uni and Black. It's possible to live in the tank as it contains a few small beds, an atom manipulator, as well as the means to clean yourself, and even has its own toilet and has a few spare sockets for recreational gadgets.
It has the ability of fooling magnetic vision, by looking like a car under that vision. The tank is capable of going 80mph, and it is very, very tough. Like the robot it can survive missiles, shells, bombs and I believe you can survive in the tank, even if the tank is surrounded by deadly radiation.
Weaponry includes 2 mini guns, 2 SAM launchers and 2 140mm cannons, all the weaponry reloads automatically rather quickly.
Like the robot we will be able to send the tank to you very soon." He explains in the same tone and with the same chuckle.
I take that theoretically I could live inside the tank, that's a really cool thing to be able to do, especially as that saves having to return to base and could effectively live behind enemy lines providing support or hit and run. The weaponry is most impressive too, as well as the ability to fool magnetic vision.
"Excellent, wonderful OK what is special about this bird over here?" Noire asks with much enthusiasm, still smiling, and taking it all in as she's in awe of the technology that will be ours soon.
"This Black 2 Bomber is a stealth bomber, but it's not just any stealth bomber. Its top speed is Mach 10, maximum altitude is 8000 metres and this thing can fly a week before it needs refuelling, and can carry over a whopping 50,000 kilograms of stuff.
It has all the facilities that you need to be able to live in the plane like a home, and has plenty of space for a gigantic bed, television, atomic manipulator, even a shower, a washing machine tumble dryer combo that can deal with loads of 100kg, and bath, which we've recently installed in the plane specifically for you, your sister and Black.
It's also invisible to radar and can even become invisible to the naked eye as well. Not only that but it's able to film from 8000 metres up, and has the means to record all the way down there for an unlimited time. You are also able to see and hear everything down there, thanks to the powerful computers on board. Plus which there are plenty of missiles and bombs as well as mini-guns and cannons all of which are of different types; in fact it can hold a massive quantity of ammunition.
The plane is capable of holding lots of paratroopers as well, should you decide to drop paratroopers down. It can also hold supplies and even vehicles. I mean this plane does everything involving planes: fighter, recon, bombing, Para trooping, it can even hover like a helicopter." Heihachi explains with the same pride and joy in his voice.
"I'm very impressed with your machines Heihachi. I definitely look forward to acquiring them." My CPU says smiling, filled with much joy as well, her body language showing not just interest but amazement as well.
Both I and Noire are amazed with all of those machines as well as their impressive abilities. I think neither of us can wait before we can put those useful weapons to use, and for them to make a difference on the battlefield and hopefully turn the tide in this war.
"There is one more piece of technology we're working on, and its teleportation. We have managed to teleport a person but the thing is the person needs to be surrounded by non-living material. In which case, it would be ideal if the person was in a vehicle. The good news is that you don't need to be in a particular spot, and you are able to be teleported anywhere. Furthermore groups of vehicles can be teleported at once. The device is called the Chronosphere.
However we need to be sure it's OK before giving it the green light, and it requires significant power. We have plenty of it but it does mean that it has to recharge though that takes half an hour. It should be ready in a couple of days." Heihachi explains with much pride in his voice.
I remember the Chronosphere from Red Alert 2. Having the ability to teleport would be very useful, as we can just bypass their defences and even travel to anywhere instantly, and do hit and run attacks against the enemy and cripple their ability to fight.
"One more thing that is in development is a gun that can heal people as opposed to kill people, though it's still in development. It's not even close to being finished." He finishes off.
A gun that can heal people? That would be really cool and very useful if there is an injured person and there's no means to reach the injured, like in a building or a cliff or something like that.
"Yeah like with everything it all looks good, very impressive. But I will need to examine each of the stuff personally once more, before it gets the green light, though I'm confident it will. Your stuff always does, just like everything here. I'm so privileged to have such intelligent people in this glorious nation of ours." Noire says sounding extremely happy with what we've seen.
"Of course, I'm glad it was to your liking and hopefully this will help turn the tide, it's impressive to know how you held an entire army of Leanbox soldiers off who outnumbered you significantly, without a single casualty whatsoever. I wish you both good night my CPUs." He speaks with much appreciation. And I can tell how pleased he is that we like his cool stuff. I have no doubt that he works hard so with it, like all of us in Lastation.
It pleases me so much to know that it's not just reinforcements that will be coming and be of excellent quality but also, better weapons and new technology that will benefit us greatly on the battlefield. I believe that Noire must think that our victory, and my presence, helped to prove that this war with Leanbox could be won. That makes me feel happy to know that I have helped my CPU out tremendously and I am eager to help her out more, and achieve our ultimate goals: End the war, find Neptune, bring her to justice, find Blanc, end the war and find out about our origins.
I must admit, it is now getting late and even for my first day it has been rather eventful, though I imagine there'll be many more eventful days yet to come. I've had the pleasure of meeting my favourite CPU, who I find to be the best leader I've ever met, and to have a tour of what I now believe to be the best metropolis I've ever seen with her. Not just this, but for it to be full of the best sort of people being hardworking, loyal, smart, and kind who have the best living conditions imaginable. It doesn't stop there as I've had a fun time doing a driving test, and then meeting her sister who is actually a lot better than she ever was in the series. It's such an amazing day I've had indeed.
Although it was sad to have been in combat, where I along with our troops slaughtered countless enemy soldiers because of their refusal to surrender, I can at least say I helped save Lastation by doing that. It was nice to be rewarded together as a result of that victory, by spending time in such a magnificent pool, and having lots of cool novelties like wave machines, milkshakes that doesn't stain you and slides.
The fun doesn't stop there as I had a race in Noire's car with Noire driving, as I saw the futuristic lively high tech heavenly metropolis at night, a very long awesome tunnel and even had fun being drifted and driven upside down, not to mention being in a gigantic car jump, as well as seeing some of the awesome terrain there for miles upon miles upon miles. The food at Heihachi's was nice too and his technology that he showed us was very impressive.
If I'm honest as I said before, I feel as though I could live here in Lastation forever and ever, especially in her mansion. I can really enjoy this life style of high tech equipment, overall prosperity as well as to share it with people who I enjoy seeing, and I look forward to seeing more and more of them.
It is a lovely utopia, it's just unfortunate that there is a war on right now, but perhaps that's why I'm here, to bring peace to the rest of the lands and to restore hope and opportunity there. I'm not just cool with doing this but I'd love to do this, to be able to make positive changes, and to be able to help out other people, and bring them the wonderful life style that we have and all the technologies and ideas that come with it. Sharing our wealth, sharing our prosperity, sharing our peace, sharing our technology, that's what I like to do and that goal is shared with other people too which makes it even more pleasant.
