Chapter 51: Time for a Dynasty Fight
I find it kind of cliché that the main boss had to show up after I took out their nukes, but I guess it's also cliché that we'd come so far and blowing up both their nukes only to die now. I wonder what would happen if we were to surrender? Would Vert spare us considering how we've fought so well, or would she wish to torture then destroy us for getting in her way of dominating my nation? I'd much sooner die than surrender, or at least pretend to surrender and strike whenever we can, rather than just give in to the brainwashed Leanboxes. How tragic that my tale of fighting for justice would end here. It appears our fate has been sealed….
Or has it as I see a few sports cars rush towards us. One which is in black stops near the Leanbox snipers, with which they board the car. I'm pleasantly surprised to find they're still alive after all this time, when they all get in the car speeds away.
The other 2 head for the catwalk, one of them is in black and has a carbon roof on top. The other is a royal blue Ferrari convertible consisting of phoenix drawings all over it. In the front seat I instantly recognise to be Zhen Ji, Xing Cai and Da Qiao all of whom to be characters from Dynasty Warriors.
From what I see Zhen Ji wears her DW6 costume which is somewhat similar to Blanc's HDD costume which consists of: a white halter neck dress which covers the front, her hips and the legs, although from memory it actually opens out at the waist in the front, the dress appears to be fastened at the front and does not cover her back. In fact the top of the dress is such that I can actually see a good amount of cleavage, under her attractive white dress full of various patterns, is a royal blue under dress which covers her front and upper thighs, but not her back. For her arms she wears long white opera gloves that go up to her shoulders, although these ones consist of a pattern at the upper arm as well as light blue bracelets. The glove does not cover her finger and like Noire's original gloves Zhen Ji's gloves only cover the top of her hand and middle finger, like a triangle which shows her blue nail varnish. As for footwear I remember her shoes to be royal blue high heels with some sort of blue fur on the toes, and she wears a blue thigh bracelet. For head wear to the right side of her head she wears a blue jewelled head piece with feathers on it, which stretches out like an octopus. On the back of her head is another blue headpiece, only this has patterns on it and is in a star shape with many points. She's wear blue sleepers and her long hair is black, styled in a way that it's all curled and held up at the back, only to end and curl around her right shoulder. She also has hair that goes around her left eye which has a beauty spot underneath. Her eyes are brown and her eye shadow is blue.
Again from what I see Da Qiao wears her DW7 costume, which is actually similar in style to Blanc's original human costume. Only hers is a dress in red with gold and white trimming with a gold flower pattern, and some blue by the "skirt part" of the dress and a few chains on it. Her clothing covers her arms, her shoulders, her body and goes to her knees. Her hat is smaller than Blanc's and sits to the side of her head, like her dress it's also red with white and gold decoration. For footwear she wears ankle boots that are red with gold pattern. While her eyes are brown, her hair style is similar to that of Ram's, which is fairly long that goes past her shoulders with a fringe, and her hair going down to the front of both of her shoulders. The only difference is her hair is black.
Unlike the other two, Xing Cai's costume is more modern though it does resemble her original costumes from the games, as she wears a green bullet proof vest, black fingerless gloves and a visor which covers her face. Though I do remember her hair to be black and short, and her eyes to be brown.
"Jump guys hurry, come on!" Da Qiao urged.
"Say goodbye imbeciles." The enemy boss Sima Yi said.
It is then he launches the missiles from his VTOL. At the exact same time all of us jump from the catwalk. I notice while Landon is falling next to me, the other 3 ladies with us: White, Tanya and Haruka are falling next to each other, though they're far away from us. It is then we both land in the back of the Empress of Wei's sports car. I then see our girls land in the back of a different car; they speed off eager to get away.
The moment we land, the Empress of Wei: Lady Zhen drives off as fast as she can.
"They're on our tail, gentleman there's some weapons in the backseat!" Da Qiao spoke with concern.
We end up drawing our weapons ready for it. Me and Landon take Da Qiao's advice, in the backseat we find two TAC-45s which has 9 bullets per clip, two MAC11s which have 200 bullets, two Spas 12s which have 50 bullets and two grenade pistols which have 5 bullets. Meanwhile Xing Cai gets out her Spas 12, Da Qiao equips her Uzi and Zhen Ji arms herself with a Desert Eagle and some whip, which I'm curious to find out what special powers it has.

The VTOL closes in from behind; I notice at the front in the centre a mini gun firing away and 2 missile launchers, one on each side of the aircraft. All 3 weapons try to shoot us down, but I decide to switch to the grenade launcher and fire at the mini gun first. It'll only be a matter of time before the chain gun rips us to shreds with its bullets if we're not careful, so with a couple of shots from our grenade launchers the chain gun gets destroyed and with a couple more shots so does their missile launchers leaving nothing but black smoke from where they once stood.
With that threat taken care of, the VTOL flies over us and it is then we turn around in front to see a few Leanbox jeeps chasing us, although rather than being the usual green they are a light green blue shade. The soldiers are the same story; instead of them wearing woodland green they wear the same shade as their vehicles. We must be fighting the entire Jin Dynasty and their troops from Dynasty Warriors, who have clearly aligned themselves with Leanbox. In response me and Landon switch to our MAC11s with their whopping 200 bullets.
Though there are many jeeps in front with a lot of soldiers trying to shoot at us who at this point appear healthy due to us being away from the radiation now, we manage to take them down with ease. And yet as odd as it is when we shoot the driver or the jeeps themselves, the vehicle always spins around, screeching its tyres and blows up. Unrealistic but it does help. Another odd but useful thing I have found, is that shooting yellow enemies gives me extra ammunition for our Uzis, Spas 12s and our grenade launchers without even having to go to them. I'm pleased there's no 40 second time limit though.
Even though a few vehicles try to sneak around us they still get shot by us. In fact no matter where they are be it front, side or the back they all get killed by one of us. Not even their troops that wear decent body armour carrying their latest sub machine guns are a match for us.
Eventually after a short while the VTOL flies over us and so I switch to the grenade launcher along with Landon. The aircraft opens its side mini guns though as soon as they do open I fire a round, and that alone destroys all 3 of them that do open. After which in retaliation two guys come out, one of them I recognise to be Zhong Hui a Jin officer with the brown curly hair, though he's wearing full modern day armour in cyan covering, everything but his smug face and head. He is carrying the Sniper Rifle from Halo 1 in prone position. The other guy who's muscular with long black hair, I recognise to be Deng Ai another Jin officer only his clothing is modern day. He wears a large green bullet proof vest and combat trousers, along with green combat gloves. His weapon of choice is the Halo 1 bazooka, before they can get in position let alone fire their weapons, Landon takes them down with a round from his grenade launcher.
Thankfully that round alone was enough to make them retreat. I even hear this from them:
"You lot have blemished our records as well as our pride. Next time I won't be so lenient on you and next time I won't bring the imbecile Deng Ai with me!" Zhong Hui retorted in his typical arrogant tone.
After which our sexy Wei driver then drives under to the other side of the VTOL. It is then the aircraft activates its side mini guns for the other side, though like before as soon as they come out I just shoot them with my grenade launcher. As if on cue a couple of their soldiers with rifles try to engage us, but they get shot down. It is then the hatch to the back of the aircraft opens, and out comes none other than Zhuge Dan with short black hair. He wears the same stuff as Zhong Hui though his weapon of choice is a Plasma Rifle from Halo. He is constantly trying to shoot us with his gun but he mostly misses, and when we're sure he'll hit us we just duck anyway. Though it takes us a short while our shotguns manage to deplete his health. After being shot a few times he then runs back into the aircraft, like a coward with a tail between his legs with which he has no shame.
A few of their regular troops then try to engage us, one of them even has a riot shield but they get shot down quickly by us. It is then Zhuge Dan comes back for round 2, though this time he is armed with an XM25 missile launcher. He is also accompanied by Zhong Hui who is armed with some laser pistol and a futuristic riot shield. I would have used a grenade launcher on Zhuge but I have run out of grenades, unfortunately so has my buddy Landon. The cowardly Jin officer then fires a grenade at our car, after aiming through his scope.
I was worried what would happen if his grenade were to hit our car. My worries are confirmed when his grenade connects to our car. An explosion occurs, fires shaped in a ball expanding as well as smoke lifting it. But to my surprise the car just spins around a few times making us temporarily dizzy briefly, and the flames and smoke soon disappear after holding on to the spinning car for dear life. It's also a relief that neither the car nor its passengers are damaged or wounded respectively, but it was still quite an ordeal. Though my HUD does say we have lost some health, we still have plenty left where that came from, still 50% health is better than being goners, good thing we're main characters not minions. After asking each other if we're OK from the spin, our driver then taunts to the enemy.
"My, my, you're quite persistent, allow me to whip you into shape." Zhen Ji said. Despite being enraged she sounds quite calm and she is also her usual self.
She then manages to regain control of the car with one hand, while with her whip in the other hand; she uses it to coil around the grenadier's wrist. As soon as the whip connects his flesh, the whip electrocutes him causing him to drop the grenade launcher as it falls to the ground. Sensing his ally is in danger; from hearing Zhuge being given a nasty electric shock and his cries of pain, he shoots at Zhen Ji a few times. Due to being shot at she is forced to release Zhuge with her whip, she tries to shoot back in retaliation with her Desert Eagle but her shots get blocked by Zhong's shield. Despite Hui saving Dan, Zhuge is still literally stunned from the electrocution in fact I see his body surrounded by sparks of electricity.
"Ah Lady Zhen, you may be good but you're not as good as me." The arrogant young man with the shield taunted.
We leave the electrocuted man be, to deal with Zhong. Me and my buddy decide to switch to our MAC11s and shoot him in the head, the only part that's exposed. Although it takes a lot of our magazine as his health depletes quite slowly, it is enough to send him back to retreat. By this time Zhuge is now back to normal and he gets out a revolver, which he constantly fires at us with varying amounts of success. We switch to our SPAS 12s and he's no match against the 5 of us, with a few slugs from our guns he is then fleeing without shame, with a tail between his legs once again.
It is then the VTOL speeds off and we hear engines of jeeps roar from behind us.
"We will make Zhang He proud; we will attack with grace and beauty." One of them said in a distinctive voice.
As all of us except the driver turn to face the rear to greet them, it is then we see a couple of Jin jeeps behind us, with a few troops dressed in light blue combat gear armed with claws. The jeeps try to close in on us, but we just manage to shoot the claw guys one by one with our shotguns. There are quite a few jeeps we have to deal with here, and even when their cargo of claw men are dealt with, there's still the drivers we have to deal with who armed with sub machine guns. It doesn't take much effort or time to take them all down, though after the first wave of them are dealt with a second wave of them approaches, only they split into two groups with each group approaching our side.
This gets quite precarious as one of their jeeps drive so close to our car that one of their claw men tries to strike me down. It's only down to me ducking that they miss. After ducking I quickly shoot the drivers with my shot gun, and then all of their claw men afterwards while ducking when they strike.
When I have dealt with my side I look at Landon's side only to find the jeeps are not there anymore. I'm pleased he is able to take out the enemy like I am. We look up to find the VTOL still there, only suddenly a car comes out of the hatch in reverse. We concentrate on the car as it lands. The vehicle is a cyan sports car only it's some fast convertible, the likes I've never seen before. Two of its passengers stand up with their machine guns in hand; ready to engage us in full body armour. They then fire at us causing us to duck a lot. Due to the ferocity of their accuracy and constant firing, it is only when they have to reload that we return fire with our shotguns. Even then they do take some punishment.
Thankfully we manage to shoot them both down, though we have used up a lot of our shotgun rounds. As if on cue a man who I instantly recognise to be Sima Zhao, then stands up with a rifle as he tries to shoot us down. I remember how he was Sima Yi's youngest son, though this time he wears a light blue tropical shirt.
Fortunately for us despite him trying with a lot of effort, his gun doesn't fire as accurately and he's having to reload more often compared to the two gunners from before. Unfortunately though due to him being a main member of Jin he does have a ton of health, in fact more so than his 2 car buddies we just took down.
It takes a lot of rounds from us all, and all of what's left of mine and Landon's ammunition for our MAC11 and SPAS12 to damage the Jin boss. Even then he merely switches from his rifle to just lobbing grenades at us one at a time, though me and Landon take it turns to shoot them in the air with our TAC-45s.
"Do you guys have spare ammunition for us?" I asked them.
"Unfortunately not my loves but it is an honour to fight by your side." The Wei beauty replied in her flirting tone.
"Lastatshu is some distance away but we will get through this, we must keep fighting everyone." The Shu Warrior Xing Cai rallied.
"The fighting…does frighten me, but for Lastatwu and as the Lee Sisters we will keep fighting." The Wu young lady Da Qiao said quietly but she sounded determined.
I know they really meant Lastation, I can only hope that we do get there, it would be horrible to die now after going through so much. I couldn't help but be intrigued when Da Qiao said about Lee sisters: Da Qiao, Xing Cai and Zhen Ji. Are they aware they're voiced by the same Voice Actress? I'll have to ask that later and deal with the current situation at hand.
Though me and Landon only have pistols, I'm relieved the 3 attractive ladies with us appear to have plenty of ammunition for their small arms. Though Zhao still has a lot of health so do we, but what would happen if they were to discover that me and Landon are just as powerful if not more so than the Lee Sisters?
After what felt like minutes of shooting him and his grenades and a lot of fast reloading, he eventually retreats due to losing some health. Only soon afterwards the driver of the car stands up and tries to shoot us with his pistol, amazingly when the Shu lady shoots the driver with just 1 shotgun shell the driver dies, though sadly it does not destroy the car or even spin it as Zhao takes control of it.
"Whoa you must be real persistent you remind me of someone." Sima Zhao spoke in his usual tone.
"Quiet! I have no time for comments like that." The Shu fighter snapped.
"Don't worry I'll put him in his place, he just loves to be severely punished." The Wei beauty laughed.
It is at that point she stands up and turns around, and with her whip she cracks Zhao's fast car sending sparks all over the car and causing it to grind to a halt. The car has lost its power, it has been EMPed. Although we'll have to fight him later, I'm not sure we have enough ammunition to deal with him. At least he's now out of this battle, well we hope anyway.
It is then we turn to face the VTOL that still hovers above us, it is now they send a few regular troops through the hatch, though only one member of a single group jumps down to our car, while the rest of them stay there trying to engage us. The one who jumps down has a flame thrower though before he can actually switch it on, he gets shot down causing him to fall over to the road where he's quickly run over. The other guys are armed with pistols and riots shields, there was even two yellow guys. We managed to defeat them with speed, and me and Landon were able to acquire about 50 bullets for our MAC11s and a grenade for our launchers.
Suddenly out of the blue a male approaches armed with a large mini gun which obscures my view of him. From what I can make out his face is very pale and his hair is long and black. For clothes he wears a cyan cape and overalls.
"I am Guo Hai and I will show you no….mercy." He wheezed as if he's ill.
He then spins up the mini gun sending bullets flying all over the place only for him to then aim at our car. We're forced to duck worried for our safety. Though we must have been hiding in our seats for what felt like minutes if not hours, I'm pleasantly surprised the bullets don't hit us though I now realise our car is taking quite a pounding, I'm not sure if our car can take constant fire from his gun. It'll only be a matter of time before the car's health becomes critical; I only hope the car will still be ok after all this. I then see Xing Cai pick up a riot shield from her seat as she then holds it up with her left hand, while trying to fire back with her right hand but it is of little effect; the riot shield may be able to withstand bullets of Huai's magnitude but her shot gun does little to stop the Jin mini gunner from firing.
Thankfully he runs out of bullets now and that thing has got to take a long time to reload, this is our window of opportunity. We then come out from our hiding places and engage with everything we got. Me and Landon shoot him with grenades and then what ammunition we have from our sub machine guns, we do manage to do a fair bit of damage to his health, but it was then I realised it was a trap, as he actually didn't run out bullets, he just stopped firing. As he gets the guns spinning up we hide again, while Lady Zhen tries to steer the car without being able to see the road from where she's hiding.
I just hope we can drive through a petrol station and that would heal our car instantly like in many racing games, or at least I hope that our car can survive this. With my magnetic vision I try to fire from my cover with my pistol, and Xing Cai uses her technique again with the riot shield, but despite it taking lots of precious time, it does work. It is then he lifts up the mini gun with both arms and with sheer unbelievable strength he throws the weapon at us, our sexy lady at the wheel manages to steer away. With frustration he then retreats back into the aircraft.
I start to think of a strategy to get through this and take a look at our situation. Though we have managed to hold them off, I don't know if we can keep holding them off. Our car's health is not great and Lastation is still some distance away. My gut is telling me that this aircraft has still more cards to play, we haven't even had a gun fight with Sima Yi yet, and we haven't really killed any of his officers. There's only one thing for it we have to destroy the VTOL, at least then they'll be forced to give up the pursuit, there's no way we can kill them here, just hold them off.
"Zhen Ji could you drive to the side of their aircraft? We need to take down their rotors." I asked her.
"A good tactic my love, let us take their monstrosity down the sky." She smiled.
Second time she called me my love. I thought she only loved Cao Pi her husband and Cao Ren a loyal Wei officer who saved her a few times. Then again she always fancies the player and I do wonder if I'm Player 1 while Landon is Player 2.
To my surprise there were a group of them scattered all over the top of the aircraft, with various weapons trying to shoot us down, but even with their assault rifles and machine guns we still manage to pick off different targets with our own guns. She then drives us to where the engine for the right rotor blade is.
With much speed our Wei beauty gets out her whip and with one strike, her whip connects to the engine causing it to stop working. A few sparks came out followed by black smoke and then flames, the rotor blade rapidly slows down until it stops moving. Despite this though the VTOL is still airborne. She then drives around to the other side which is guarded by a few more guards, which were no trouble for us. As soon as they're taken down Zhen Ji uses her sexy whip against the rotor blades themselves. One lash was all it took for the blades to slow down to a halt. After seeing them slow down a minor explosion occurs around the blades, causing smoke to appear followed by fire from where it once stood.
By now both wings of the aircraft are now burning, and we can now see bits of metal coming off them. While it is definitely slowly descending it's still airborne. The airplane slows down to a point where we're now ahead of it, and it is then we see a few jeeps and enemy bikers to deal with. They move around a lot making it harder to actually hit them accurately. They constantly swerve screeching their tyres as we try to shoot at them. I kinda half expected to be told to reload frequently, and to have to pay attention to a 40 second time limit that would beep away when it's close to 10. The good thing is that it's difficult for them to hit us, the fact that they're appear to be lousy shots go in our favour. Realising that their cars don't have too much health we decide to go for them, their size makes it easier for us to shoot. When we change tactic it does not take long before the jeeps get taken down, causing them to spin in their explosion as well as the occupants to fall out dead. Though it takes longer due to their size the bikers get shot down as well.
With that threat dealt with our driver then drives to the back of the VTOL, my gut says we're nearly there but I still hope that we don't fall at the last hurdle.
I see a few guards charge out, one with a flamethrower manages to jump down to our car, but we manage to shoot them quickly before they can even shoot us. After which I then see two women who I recognise to be Wang Yuanji and Zhang Chunhua, the latter is Yi's wife both are from the Jin faction.
Wang Yuanji unsurprisingly bears a lot of resemblance to Vert more than she did in the original games. Though her eyes are brown, her hair is blonde, long and untied. To my disgust her clothes are exactly the same as Vert's human Victory clothes, only instead of them being in green they're a cyan to match Jin's colour scheme. Her shoulder dress covers her arms and also goes to the back of her thighs, which is split into two oval shapes at her waist. Her dress also covers her neck but not her busts, although thankfully it is covered with a cyan shirt. On her dress are logos of Jin which are on her neck, on each of her wrists and there are 2 one on each side of her waist. For foot wear she wears high heels with ballerina like straps around her ankles.
Zhang Chunhua meanwhile with her long brown hair, in which some of it is tied up with flowers and is covered by a small hat to the side of her head, is dressed exactly like her downloadable costume from Dynasty Warriors. She wears a purple bustier with cyan pattern and buttons along with a choker around her neck; she also wears a mini layered skirt along with purple stockings with gold pattern on the outside. Her footwear consists of black heels and she wears short black fingerless gloves.
While Yuanji's weaponry is the throwing knives a la Dynasty Warriors, Chunhua's weaponry consists of dual pistols. It is then the Vert wannabe speaks.
"I am Wang Yuanji, why don't you guys do the right thing and join Leanbox right now, my idol: Lady Green Heart will treat you fairly. What about you Xing Cai? I have heard that you serve such an imbecilic leader in Liu Shan, the person I serve maybe lazy but he is much more intelligent than him." She sounded cocky as if to taunt us.
"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY YOU FRIGGIN BITCH?!" Xing Cai roared with anger, resembling Blanc in many ways.
"My, my, such temper just like your idol the so called Lady White Heart; if she was that great she wouldn't send little girls who dress like her such as Da Qiao here to fight such a superior land." The female fool spoke.
"I fight to protect my home and my idol who cares about all of us; you will wish you didn't underestimate me!" The Wu youngster spoke bravely.
"Somehow I'm not convinced, just as I'm not convinced Lady Zhen supports her idol for her beauty, I know you yearn for satisfaction, if you were to join Leanbox you will get that satisfaction I promise you, she shares the same beauty and pride that you do, not like your idol gah. what do you lot see in her anyway?" The Jin female proposed taunting us.
"I get plenty of satisfaction from my idol knowing how strong and nice she is not like your idol, worshipping such a weak ugly idol must leave you somewhat unfulfilled I would imagine." Our Wei lady taunted back.
"How very disappointing none of you wish to join us, despite knowing our victory is inevitable, well I guess I don't have much of a choice, I will take you all down!" The blonde knife thrower spoke kinda yelling somewhat.
While I do get her allegiance towards Vert it's still tragic to see her this way. I remember her to be a lot more mature than this, how can she support someone that is so immature? I feel like she has become her. But if I have to fight her then so be it.
"Not if we've got something to say about it, come on guys let's take them all down!" I yell.
With that we open fire at them before they even made their move. I notice how we all aim for their chests; it's not long before each bullet takes its toll on them. They are then clutching their breasts as it hurts them.
"What nerve!" The Jin women yelled.
It is then in a fury Yuanji throws batch after batch of knives at us, while Chunhua fires her dual pistols. We manage to duck, but as I hide in the seat of our car I look at knives being stuck in various places, I then see Xing Cai trying to block them with her shield but her shield is also completely covered with knives and I see it taking its toll. I think her shield is starting to break and I also notice how the knives make her shield more and more heavy.
In an act of bravery Da Qiao stands up carrying a MAC11 in each hand. She then desperately sprays her bullets at the Jin knife thrower, hoping Da can cause enough damage to force her to retreat. While the constant shooting ceases the constant knife throwing on Wang's part, her partner just retaliates by firing both her pistols at our young girl. The brave Wu youngster then retreats in her seat but not before she gets shot a few times.
"Da Qiao! Are you OK my brave friend?" Our driver asks her, putting her hand on Da Qiao to sooth her.
"I'm….I'll be OK um uh….thank you." The youngster in red nodded.
"No worries take a little rest, I'll put that bully in her place, I'll make sure she is severely punished." Zhen Ji replied in her usual sexual tone.
With that the Wei beauty gets out her whip, and with one strike the whip coils around Wang Yuanji as if she's tied up. Not only this but the tight coil around her gives her electric shocks. Sensing danger her comrade tries to pick up a knife her friend was forced to drop. Though while she does this all of us but Da Qiao fires at Chunhua.
Thankfully for us it takes some time for her to pick up the knife, by the time she does get round to cutting the whip. Our Wei officer then pulls her whip back in an attempt to release, while causing Wang to fall out of the aircraft. Though Wang falls flat on her face it is not enough for her to fall out. At least she's stunned even if it's temporarily.
I can sense Chunhua's rage of seeing her ally fall to us, but I can also sense she's becoming weak as she has taken a lot of punishment from us. Despite this she decides to attack us, but she was unable to take us all on at once, and it wasn't long before she lost enough health to retreat, she decides to drag Wang Yuanji away though. Despite being stunned from the electric shock, my gut feeling is she's still alive.
It is then afterwards I see Sima Yi himself and his son Sima Shi though they're both dressed in modern day clothes. Yi retains his sunglasses, camouflage cap and his t shirt, but he also wears camo trousers and boots. His son Shi wears exactly the same clothes as him. As for weaponry they both have submachine guns.
"Now you've really made me angry for what you've done to my wife and family, let's wipe those imbeciles out my son!" Yi spoke with aggression.
The pair of them then roar with laughter as they try to fire their guns at us with deadly accuracy. Before we could duck Zhen Ji and Xing Cai got hit a few times, worse the hits have taken its toll on them as they don't feel they can fight back as they clutch their wounds.
