Good Morning lovely people! Next week I start my new job, and I doubt I'll be able to post while I'm there, so expect it in the later afternoon MST. Though who knows, maybe they'll totally let me and I'll be good. We'll see.

I have one thing to say about the latest Bad Batch episode. And it is: GONKY MY BOOOOOOOOY

OneLittleSpark18: It was so wild! I'm glad to be here to share how great animated Star Wars is!

SWFan4Life: I like to imagine that Crosshair was sitting there, eating his food when Rampart was arrested and then he finished the meal and he just goes 'wait...something's wrong...' Kid Boba Fett is so sad to me. But yeah he's also a terror. Here he just has an earlier opportunity to become the man he is later. I DIDN'T MEAN TO HAVE IT OUT FOR BO KATAN IT JUST KIND OF HAPPENED. Like it's where the story took me. I like Bo Katan, I swear! I dunno if anyone is buying the 'Mandalore wants to join the Republic thing.' Aw that's such a great comparison! YES THE PONCHO. It's so cute! Thank you so much!

Venomizer: Rex is getting better, slowly but surely! Also, same. I get such bad second hand embarressment from movies and stuff. I think the actual situation would kill me. Thanks so much!

4thwallbreak: Thanks so much! This one is a bit more intense.

All right, let's get going!

Mando'a translations at the end!

"He's doing well enough." Fives' voice said from Ahsoka's comm. "At least from what I've seen. He's been visited by one little or another a couple of times."

"That's good to hear." Ahsoka said. She glanced over at Padme, Echo, and Omega, who were talking seriously about the newest iteration of the relief bill. Senator Minx, Chuchi, and Organa were there too. "How about you?"

"It's boring as hell." Fives said bluntly. "But- it's good to be out of the house."

"Hang in there." Ahsoka said with a smile. "I'm sure you'll be out teaching the littles in no time."

"I don't know if that'll be any better." Fives said. "Tell Tech and Echo I say hi."

"I will." Ahsoka said. "See you at home."

The comm clicked off. Ahsoka moved back towards the desk where the senators were talking.

"We can only present it a few more times before the bill is automatically rejected." Echo was saying. "We need to stop pushing it after only a few changes."

"I'm not willing to make more than a few changes." Padme said. "Otherwise the bill is useless."

"From what I'm hearing from the other senators, their biggest issue is the education section." Senator Minx said. "They protest the setting up of whole education systems for every planet in the bill."

"Those planets are in disarray!" Padme said. "I will not condemn the next generation to ignorance and poverty because of the selfishness of the Senate!"

"To be fair, Chancellor," Riyo said slowly. "Setting up a quality education system would be difficult and expensive. Do they have to be on the planet themselves? Would it cost less to send the most disadvantaged to nearby planets with already established schools? And even if that is not possible, surely we can set up holo education?"

"Alderaan would be willing to take in as many as we can hold." Senator Organa said.

"We'd be willing to share some of our resources as well." Omega said. "It'd be good for the younger clones to spend more time around nat borns."

Padme was silent for a moment. Then she sighed.

"It's a good compromise." She said. "I'm just tired of having to compromise for selfish people."

"It's what we have to do." Echo said. "No matter how distasteful it is."

Ahsoka hoped that this would be the final change in the bill as the senators gathered closer to make the adjustments. They'd tried five times before and the Senate had voted for revisions every time. Ahsoka knew it weighed heavily on Padme and the senators that supported her.

Padme's holo went off.

"Chancellor, Mandalor Kryze's representative is here." One of her assistants reported.

"Good." Padme said. "Send them up immediately."

"Chancellor," Echo said. "Should we leave? We don't know how this Mandalorian feels about clones. We could make things worse."

"Nonsense." Padme said. "If they truly want to be part of the Republic, they will have to accept the Tal'solus as valid."

"If you're sure." Echo said.

Crosshair and Wrecker seemed tense as they waited for the representative. Ahsoka figured they believed the same as Echo and worried things with the Mandalorian would get ugly. Her suspicion was confirmed as Tech returned from his normal sweeps. Crosshair wanted all of his men here.

Finally a chime sounded at the door.

"Come in." Padme called.

A Mandalorian in dark green and navy armor came sweeping into the room, a large cloak billowing behind. The averagely built man was followed by two other Mandalorians in red.

"Chancellor Amidala." The man said in an even voice. He removed his helmet, revealing short, greying blonde hair, brown eyes, and a deeply scarred face. "I am Tor Mirshkata. Mandalor Kryze has sent me to represent Mandalore in our discussions on joining the Republic."

"Greetings, Representative Mirshkata." Padme said. She quickly introduced the other Senators in the room. Ahsoka noticed a slight narrowing of the man's eyes when she got to Omega and Echo. "I must ask, Representative. I had thought that Mandalor Kryze was not interested in joining. What has changed her mind?"

Ahsoka studied the Force as Tor responded. She was sure that whatever reason he gave would not be the truth.

"We are not the Mandalore of the past." Tor said. "After Maul's reign, we are divided. Mandalor Kryze recognizes that the Republic could provide much needed stability as she secures her reign."

Ahsoka glanced at Padme. This was some clear bantha poodoo.

"I see." Padme said. She clearly believed Tor as much as Ahsoka did. "And what does Mandalor Kryze have to say about the half dozen attacks on senators and our families that have happened in the last months?"

"You should know as well as anyone that the Mandalorians are a fractured people." Tor said. "We do not control every faction."

"Fair enough." Padme said.

Tor accepted a data pad from one of his attendants and placed it on Padme's desk.

"Our terms." He said.

Padme picked it up. The other senators sidled closer to read over her shoulder. A few minutes passed in silence. Ahsoka tensed as several of the senators stiffened and Echo looked sharply up.

"What is this?" He demanded. "You want us to change the name of our faction?"

Ahsoka took in a sharp breath.

"You are not Mandalorian." Tor said. "You have no right to use Mando'a as your title."

"Jango Fett was Mandalorian!" Echo said. "We have every right!"

"If I recall correctly," Tor said in a cold voice. "Jango Fett adopted one clone and even that adoption is brought into question. You merely share his DNA."

Echo stood tall, eyes flashing.

"We were raised with Mando'a." He said. "We learned it from the moment we were decanted. We may not be Mandalorian, but it is part of our culture and heritage!"

Ahsoka hated the skepticism on Tor's face.

"This request is hardly reasonable." Padme said. "I would recommend speaking to Mandalor Kryze regarding it."

Tor's eyes narrowed, but he didn't respond.

"I will review this in its entirety within the next few days." Padme promised. "In the meantime, please see my attendant for your office and quarters."

Tor nodded, replaced his helmet, and left the office.

"It was too much to hope Kryze sent Kal as representative." Ahsoka muttered as he left.

Padme smiled wanly.

"I don't trust him." Echo said. "Since when do the Mandalorians rely on others for their own problems?"

"Believe him or not, he's here." Padme said. "And I have to give them a fair chance. Maybe there are some Mandalorians who do wish to be part of the Republic."

Ahsoka could feel the disbelief of everyone in the room as she spoke. Whatever Kryze wanted, Ahsoka doubted it ended with Mandalore joining the Republic.

Obi Wan waited next to Cody and Oddball in the cockpit as their ship approached Serenno.

"This is Dynamic-class freighter Dawnbreak, transporting representatives of Chancellor Amidala of the Republic." Oddball said into the comm.

"Acknowledged, Dawnbreak." Came the response.

Obi Wan was reminded of the mission to Naboo with his Master as the ground control gave landing instructions. Hopefully this mission would go better.

"It will be nice to see the capital." Obi Wan said. "I didn't have the chance the last time I was here."

Cody glanced at Obi Wan.

"You've been on Serenno, sir?" He asked. "When?"

Obi Wan hesitated. He had spoken without thinking.

"While I was undercover." He said lightly.

Cody's expression immediately darkened.

"I see." He said.

"Undercover?" Kor asked.

"General Kenobi faked his death." Cody said shortly. "Then he posed as the bounty hunter who 'killed' him. There was some plot against Palpatine."

"I believe I know of that incident." Kor said. "My mother went to the funeral."

Obi Wan felt a spike of shame as Cody looked away. He had been pained to hear that Cody, Rex, and any clone who would have cared had been barred from his fake funeral. It hadn't been fair. Looking back, the whole affair hadn't been fair for anyone involved.

He was lucky Anakin, Ahsoka, and their men had forgiven him.

The capital, Carannia, gave a serene feeling as Obi Wan stepped off of the ship. He was somewhat surprised that they had not been directed to Castle Serenno. A small entourage was waiting for them. A shockingly young man stepped forward.

"Greetings, Master Jedi." He said. "I am Count Goraan of House Serenno."

Obi Wan could see traces of Dooku's features in the young man's eyes. The connections were furthered by the Count's fine clothing and slicked back dark hair.

"Greetings, Count. I am Obi Wan Kenobi." Obi Wan said with a bow. "Though I must inform you that I am no longer a Jedi. I am here as a representative of the Republic."

Goraan raised an eyebrow.

"Interesting." He said. "In any case, the Chancellor has informed me of the reason of your visit."

Obi Wan nodded.

"I wish we were meeting under different circumstances."

The young man's expression tightened.

"Indeed." He said. "Master Kenobi, may I have a word with you alone?"

Obi Wan hesitated. He had not missed the venomous looks Goraan's guards were giving Cody. Cody stood staring ahead, as if he didn't feel the loathing being directed at him.

Goraan followed Obi Wan's gaze.

"My men won't hurt the clone." He said with a dismissive air. "Though I still wonder at the Republic using those- things."

Anger curdled in Obi Wan's stomach. Cody had stiffened further. Kor was studying Goraan with a cold look.

"I do not know what propaganda you experienced," Obi Wan said coldly. "But you will find that most, if not all, regarding the clones is false. Cody here is one of the best men I have known."

Goraan glanced at Cody and Obi Wan did not appreciate his dismissive air.

"I'm sure." He said. "But please, Master Kenobi, I must speak with you before you meet with my cousin."

"Very well." Obi Wan said.

He had known that Dooku would be related to whoever ruled Serenno now, but it had been odd for Goraan to refer to him as 'cousin.'

Obi Wan let Goraan draw him to the side. The young Count seemed nervous.

"This affair is unsettling to me." Goraan said. "You believe that my aunt and cousin worked together for this attack on the Senate."

"It is a possibility." Obi Wan said carefully.

"Aunt Zora despises Dooku." Goraan said quietly. "They have not been in contact since before I was born."

"That you know of." Obi Wan said, but it was an automatic response as he digested this new information.

It made Obi Wan even more uncomfortable. He couldn't tell if it was the Force or his own feelings on the matter.

"I cannot imagine a scenario where Aunt Zora would willingly work with Dooku." Goraan went on.

"Do you believe she was coerced?" Obi Wan asked.

Goraan hesitated.

"My aunt is strong willed." He said. "I do not believe she would ever collaborate with Dooku. She likely thought his punishment at the end of the war was far too lenient. She wishes nothing but his downfall."

Goraan met Obi Wan's eyes.

"I see." Obi Wan said.

He did see. Goraan believed that Zora was trying to frame Dooku. It made sense to Obi Wan. It seemed sloppy of the Count to send someone from his home planet, not to mention a member of his own family.

But if this was true, then who was truly behind the attacks and the attempt to activate the droid army?

There was one way to find out.

"I will keep what you have told me in mind." Obi Wan said. "But I still need to speak with Dooku."

"Of course." Goraan said. "Follow me."

He gestured to his guards, who quickly followed him to a nearby shuttle. Obi Wan nodded to Cody and Kor, and they caught up.

"Don't mind them, Cody." Obi Wan said under his breath.

"I don't mind sir." Cody said.

Obi Wan raised an eyebrow.

"Really." Cody said. "It makes sense that they look at me like that. It's better than when-"

He trailed off, but Obi Wan understood. These people had been Cody's enemy. It was understandable that they would be distrustful and dislike him. But Cody and other clones had received the same treatment from citizens of the Republic, people that the clones had died for.

"They're not too fond of you either, sir." Cody said as they boarded the shuttle.

"To be expected." Obi Wan said. "These people believed the Jedi to be blind servants of the Republic."

And they weren't exactly wrong. He thought to himself.

It didn't matter anymore. Obi Wan and the Republic had both moved on. He hoped the members of the CIS would as well.

Soon they were out of the capital and in the wilderness of Serenno. The shuttle flew over a ragged trail through a dense forest. As they traveled along it, Obi Wan became aware of a slowly increasing- coldness. It became larger and larger in his mind and Obi Wan knew that feeling. It was the freezing presence of the Dark side.

His unease increased as the shuttle stopped in front of a checkpoint manned by commando droids and SBDs. It was only a brief stop before they moved forward.

The moment they cleared the checkpoint the Dark side slammed into Obi Wan. He suppressed a gasp. He clenched his hands on his lap as waves of nausea washed over him. He had felt something like this only twice before: on Mortis, and when the task force had confronted Palpatine. Dooku was clearly no longer attempting to hide the depths in which he had immersed himself into the Darkness.

"Obi Wan?"

Kor's voice cut through Obi Wan's thoughts. He looked up and saw Cody and Kor looking at him with concern.

"Obi Wan, what is happening?" Kor asked in a low voice. He looked sick. "I feel- wrong."

"It's the Dark side of the Force." Obi Wan said quietly. "As my son, it is likely you are able to feel it."

He didn't know why he hadn't thought of it before. Most likely that Obi Wan was used to Anakin's brightness in the Force, and Kor's comparative dimness was easy to pass over. But Kor would have some sensitivity to the Force.

Goraan came to them, his face oddly screwed up.

"We have arrived." He said. "It's a short walk to his cottage. I will not be joining you. I find it unpleasant to visit him."

Obi Wan nodded and he, Kor, and Cody disembarked.

They could see the cottage from the shuttle. It was small, nothing to Castle Serenno, but it seemed well kept. More droids patrolled the forested grounds.

Each step towards the cottage made the Darkness worse.

"Why did you bring me here?" Kor asked as they drew closer.

Obi Wan looked at him.

"I thought it would be a good opportunity to get to know you better."

"I appreciate that." Kor said. "But perhaps the lair of a Sith Lord is not the time nor place?"

Obi Wan blinked. He had not considered that this would be an odd time to bring his son along. That was how he got closer with Qui Gon, the closest thing to a father he had. And was it not the same with Anakin?

"I will admit that I know little other way." Obi Wan said.

Cody snorted.

"Sirs, I think we're looking at the three least likely people to know what a normal relationship with their father is like." He said.

Obi Wan smiled at that.

"True enough." He said. "I apologize, Kor. You may stay outside if you wish."

"No." Kor said. "I'm a trained Mandalorian, not a helpless child. You'll be better off with me with you."

"To be fair, sir," Cody said. "If Count Dooku is anywhere as powerful as he used to be, we won't be much help to General Kenobi."

"That's not entirely true." Obi Wan said. "Mandalorians are known for their proficiency in killing Force users. I'm sure you both would be able to be of assistance."

"Sir, they're known Jedi killers." Cody said. "There's a difference."

"How so?" Obi Wan said.

Cody hesitated.

"With all due respect, sir," He said. "But the Jedi don't tend to have the same- intensity in battle."

"I think he means you aren't ruthless enough." Kor said.

"We pride ourselves in our merciful ways." Obi Wan said.

"Which gets you killed." Cody said.

They had reached the door of the cottage. Before Obi Wan could knock, it slid open to reveal an acid green protocol droid.

"I am K-T1." The droid said. "Please, come inside. I will inform Master Dooku of your arrival."

Obi Wan didn't want to step into the Darkness steeped house, but he had little choice. He shivered as he crossed the threshold. For the first time since they entered CIS space, he felt that he was in enemy territory.

The droid bustled off as soon as they entered the modest building. It was well furnished, Obi Wan noted as he looked around, but had none of the opulence the Count had become known for.

"I never thought I'd be inside Count Dooku's home." Cody muttered. "At least without my blaster out."

"I hope you have no reason to use it today." Obi Wan said.

They fell into an uncomfortable silence. Obi Wan was focused on keeping the Darkness from encroaching too much on his and Kor's minds. Cody was likely unaffected, at the most being unsettled. He would most likely be unsettled anyway.

It was only a few minutes before the droid returned.

"He requests that you meet him in his study." The droid said. "Please follow me."

One of the worst things about the Darkness around them, Obi Wan thought as they followed the droid, was how familiar it was. There were hints that felt like Qui Gon or Master Yoda, if they had succumbed to the Dark Side. Obi Wan shuddered to think of his Master turning.

The droid led them to a door, opened it, and gestured them in.

Obi Wan stepped into a fairly large room lined with ceiling high bookshelves. They were stuffed with old tomes that Obi Wan was getting an uncomfortable feeling from. The carpet was plush under his feet as he stepped forward. At the far end of the room, near a crackling hearth, was a desk with a large, lavish chair.

The creature in the chair looked up at them, and Obi Wan caught his breath.

He had heard of the distorting effects of the Dark side. He had witnessed it when Palpatine had shown his true nature. But Dooku-

It was if a face far more hideous than the one Obi Wan had known had aged a thousand years. The lines on Dooku's face were far more than what age should have given him. The skin was yellowed and drooping, the whites of the eyes nearly completely red. The golden irises seemed to glow at their group. Most disturbing of all were the green veins visibly pulsing under his skin.

"Master Kenobi." Dooku said. "It is good to see you without the shroud of war coming between us."

Obi Wan was taken aback at the warmth in Dooku's voice.

"I wish it were under more pleasant circumstances." Obi Wan finally said.

"Yes. The circumstances." Dooku said. "But before we discuss the matter at hand, let us exchange pleasantries. I do not often hear from the galaxy at large. How fares the Jedi Order?"

"I unfortunately cannot answer that." Obi Wan said. "I have left the Order."

There was genuine surprise in Dooku's eyes. And beyond that- interest?

"Then they did not send you." He mused. "And you have come at the behest of the Republic."

"I have." Obi Wan said.

"Interesting." Dooku said.

"The Republic has changed, Dooku." Obi Wan said.

He knew what Dooku was thinking, that Obi Wan was just a slave to a corrupt system. But he was wrong. Padme had done so much to purge the corruption.

"Has it?" Dooku asked. His eyes flicked to Cody. "And yet you still use the slaves the Kaminoans gave you."

"I'm no slave." Cody said. "Maybe I was, but me and my brothers are free now."

Once again, Obi Wan was taken aback by the surprise in Dooku's eyes. He didn't seem to have much knowledge of the outside world.

Obi Wan tensed as he felt something press against his mind. He knew it was Dooku as it probed at his thoughts lightly. Obi Wan pulled his mind closed, sending a message as he did so.

I do not appreciate being poked and prodded on an official visit.

Dooku's eyes seemed to gleam.

I merely wished to see if you had truly thrown off the burden of masters, as I have.

"We have business to attend to." Obi Wan said aloud. "You are aware, Dooku, that we have connected your cousin to the attempted assassination of Senators?"

Dooku's eyes narrowed.

"Yes, I received a communication yesterday." He said. "Preposterous. Let me assure you that Zora would not suffer an alliance with me."

"That is what Count Goraan told me." Obi Wan said. "But you understand our suspicion."

"Of course." Dooku said. "But my focus has moved beyond the petty galaxy and its politics. My studies lead me to something far more grand."

He lingered on the last word, daring Obi Wan to ask. Obi Wan did not take the bait.

"When was the last time you were in contact with Zora?" He asked.

Do you not wish to know of my work? Dooku's voice echoed in Obi Wan's mind.

I have no intention of indulging in your abominations. Obi Wan shot back.

Dooku's eyes glittered and his wizened lips pulled into a small smile.

Abominations? Is that what you would call turning back the work of death?

A shiver ran through Obi Wan's body.

"That's not possible." Obi Wan said out loud.

Kor and Cody looked at him, confused. Obi Wan ignored them, focusing on barring Dooku completely from his mind.

"Is it not?" Dooku said. He seemed annoyed that Obi Wan was making him speak aloud. "The Dark side provides wondrous powers. Could this not be one of them?"

"It should not be possible." Obi Wan said. "We all return to the Force. Why undo its work?"

"You cannot believe that Qui Gon's death was the will of the Force." Dooku said. "Countless beings have died undeserved deaths. I merely wish to correct that injustice."

"Injustice?" Cody growled. He had caught on, it seemed. "Maybe you should have thought of that before you started a kriffing war!"

Dooku turned his gaze to Cody, looking as if he had forgotten that he was there.

"What does it matter what I have done if I can reverse it?" He said. "You would reject giving your comrades new life?"

Cody recoiled, doubtless thinking of the countless brothers he had lost. Obi Wan knew how he felt. The idea of Satine, Qui Gon, and other lost loved ones returning was frightening in its allure.

But how would the Dark side twist those it returned, even if it were possible?

"We did not come here to discuss your research." Obi Wan said.

"Of course." Dooku said. He sounded disappointed as he turned away. "You may search the transmissions received and sent from here, as well as my droid's memory banks. You will find no connection to Zora."

"Thank you for your cooperation." Obi Wan said. "We have companions waiting for us at the moment. We will return tomorrow for an extensive search."

"Ah, yes, my cousin Goraan must have brought you." Dooku said. "Be wary of him, Kenobi. He was born with a strong connection to the Force. His parents rejected the Jedi, but he has some control over his abilities."

Obi Wan did not let himself react. He merely gestured to Cody and Kor and left.

"What do you think, sir?" Cody asked once they had left the room.

"I can't help but think he's telling the truth." Obi Wan said.

Kor nodded.

"I agree." He said. "The man seems obsessed with his research."

"Not to mention he did not know about the clones being freed." Obi Wan said. "He clearly has no interest in the outside world."

They followed the droid through the house again. The sun was setting as they left.

"Sir-" Cody said as they made their way back down towards the shuttle. "What he said- is it possible?"

It pained Obi Wan to hear the hope in Cody's voice.

"I don't know." Obi Wan said. "I don't think we would want to know."

"Of course, sir." Cody said.

He put his helmet on. Obi Wan glanced at him. The idea of bringing his brothers back to life had affected Cody more than Obi Wan had realized.

"I'm not looking forward to coming back tomorrow." Kor said as they reached the shuttle. "There's something wrong with that man."

"I quite agree." Goraan, who was waiting for them outside the vehicle, said. "What did you find out?"

"He denied it." Obi Wan said. "And offered to allow us to go through his records."

He looked at Goraan, remembering what Dooku had said.

"He is not acting like a guilty man." Obi Wan said.

"Could be that this Zora was acting alone." Cody said.

He still wore his helmet.

"My aunt has no great hatred towards the Republic." Goraan said. "She would not attack it."

"But in order to frame Dooku?" Obi Wan asked. "If she hates him so much-"

Goraan shook his head.

"No." He said. "To be frank, Zora is very- straightforward in her way of thinking. Someone else must have come up with the idea and then fed it to her."

Obi Wan shared a look with Kor and Cody. Goraan seemed so confident in his statements.

"I'm afraid we must impose on you for lodging." Obi Wan said. "We must return here tomorrow to perform our further investigation."

"Of course." Goraan said. "Please, back into the shuttle."

Obi Wan, Kor, and Cody climbed back onto the shuttle. Obi Wan heaved a sigh of relief as the coldness of the Dark side faded away.

The Force woke Obi Wan up before the pounding at the door did. He sat up straight in the plush bed provided for him and reached for his lightsaber. He slipped to the door, tense as the pounding continued.

"Open the door! Serrenian police!" A voice shouted.

Obi Wan furrowed his brow, but the Force whispered to wait. He unlocked the door and let it slide open. Several men in the Serrenian guard uniform were pointing blasters at him.

"Drop the lightsaber!" One of them ordered.

Obi Wan hesitated only for a moment before placing it on the ground. The Force still wished for caution. He allowed the guard to place binders on his wrists.

Shouting rang out nearby, from where Obi Wan knew Cody's quarters were.

"Cody!" Obi Wan said loudly. "Comply! Do not put yourself in danger!"

The sounds of scuffling stopped and a few guards dragged Cody over in binders. A black eye was blossoming on Cody's face, but he seemed otherwise unhurt. More guards returned, leading a cuffed Kor. The head of the guard gestured and Obi Wan found himself being pushed down the hall. He sent Cody a look and despite his obvious fear, Cody did not resist.

"Are we to know why we are being arrested?" Obi Wan asked.

The head guard glanced back, a stony expression on his face.

"You're to be brought in for questioning regarding the death of Count Dooku."

Mando'a:

Tal'solus: one blood, name of the faction of clones

From the top!

I like the idea that Rex just gets visited by his squad all the time when he tries to work. It's cute.

Padme and the others try so hard to do good. Unfortunately, people suck and are selfish!

Yeah right, Kryze. Like Mandalore would make ANY statement that would suggest that they are weak. Nobody's believing you. (I say as if I did not write this justification she sends with Tor) I have this idea in my head that the Mandalorians consider Mando'a sacred in some sense and some really hate that the clones use it. As shown here.

It has ALWAYS bothered me that they invited Satine, Obi Wan's maybe girlfriend that HE'S NOT SUPPOSED TO HAVE to his fake funeral AND NOT CODY OR REX OR ANY CLONE. It's such nonsense. Though it has given rise to clone angst and I will NEVER say no to that.

Goraan continues my new tradition of giving Serrenian royalty Zelda names. No, I will not apologize. I imagine the Seperatists were fed a metric TON of propagandaabout the clones and how awful they were.

Yes, Kor is mildly Force sensitive. Once again, I will not apologize. Obi Wan thinks that father-son bonding involves going into stupidly dangerous situations together. Given his experience, he is not wrong.

Anakin isn't including in the people who know the least about father-son relationships because he does not actually have a father.

Okay, I will admit that I don't know how well Mandalorians fare against Dark Side users. BUT. I wanted to make this interaction. So sue me.

Hey Dooku! He got uglified by the Dark Side. I really like the idea of Dooku kind of feeling bad about the deaths he's caused, but in a way that makes him go 'hey it'll be fine if I just bring them back to life, right?'

UH OH SOMEONE MURDERED DOOKU. And unfortunately our boys are right there to be prime suspects. Dun dun duuuuuun

Huh. I thought I'd have more to say about the chapter. Oh well.

Stay safe, remember to review, and have a great week!
