Chapter 65: Preparations
It is now we all have breakfast in bed together made from our atom manipulators, while we watch the picturesque sunrise over Lastation. It's a very beautiful sight indeed
Like with our previous breakfast together, the food does remind me of the food we had before coming here. In fact I remember the different foods to be associated with the different places that we were from, before coming here. Though as frustrating as it is, I have no idea where we were originally from.
For me I have a fry up with different items: I have various eggs, various bacons, top quality sausages, baked beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, hash browns, fried potatoes as well as waffles and even some fish with a large Pepsi to go with it. Both my sisters have the same delicious food.
The Loweean family of CPUs and Candidates have a large stack of pancakes each, with maple syrup, ice cream and plenty of bacon and egg in between the layers of pancakes. They all have large milkshakes to go with it of varying flavours from vanilla for Blanc and White, to Blueberry for Rom and Strawberry for Ram. There's even plenty of various tropical fruit which is provided by Blanc's magic. As I look at all of our breakfasts that are on a massive tray that spans the entire bed, I do feel the nostalgia. Especially when we eat our breakfasts that are massive and so delicious that we consider them to be the best breakfasts we ever have. They are even presented in a nice way. I wonder if it's extra special because of the possibility of me and White, not being able to eat this gourmet dinner or any other meals like this ever again. Though knowing my CPUs I'm sure they'll have a way of keeping our troops in Lowee well fed and supplied, especially with their finest stuff.
"This food is yummy and watching the sunrise over Lastation with you guys is so cool. I wish it was practical for me to go to Lowee. I'd like to be down there fighting with you, I want to do my bit in this war and have a role in this story." Ram spoke with passion even when breaking the 4th wall.
"I agree I don't want to be irrelevant like in Neptunia." Rom added.
Both of them make a valid point. Neptunia has never been good to any of the CPUs sat with me. I honestly felt they've all been portrayed as little more than jokes who were often fought, and had little appreciation from anyone but their own families. The bad part is is the idea that the party's success was solely down to one Neptune. The irony of it is this is the very Neptune that has treated my friends very poorly and has defeated them countless times. It's also the very Neptune I know of that has been a tyrant to her people and other people. She also has the audacity to try and brain wash me into destroying the very things, that we treasure the most: each other and our people. Yes, she's done very bad things as a leader and as a person, from torturing to starving to neglect to killing of innocent people. It makes me sick to my stomach.
"I appreciate your concerns, though you two have nothing to worry about. This isn't Neptunia, Blanc isn't a foul mouthed tyrant and Noire is not a cynical tsundere. Our success is down to each of us and not one person especially one that is evil, pathetic and a joke like Neptune. I may be the main character and I may have helped save Lastation a few times, as well as helped to take down Leanbox's nukes. And as you said I'll be leading the liberation of Lowee. But I alone will not be responsible for our future success, and I do not consider our success to be solely down to myself.
White has helped me in defending Lastation as well as in the destruction of the nukes, not to mention she's also coming with me to liberate your homeland.
Noire herself is the only CPU of Lastation in it's entire history, she has done a wonderful job and still does in making Lastation one of, if not the best nation of Gameindustri right now. She has made Lastation the most technologically advanced, as well as providing the best care and quality of life to her people. And it brings me great pride to know that even with Leanbox at our doorstep, she does such a tremendous job in organising its defence. As well as in keeping our nation prosperous and the people's morale at an all-time high.
Uni also does a tremendous job as the CPU Candidate, in assisting Noire with her noble goals. She's also responsible in organising the surveillance and the intelligence of our operations and defence. She's also the best sniper of the land if not the world.
You both can be proud of your older sister Blanc. Before her brainwashing she has made Lowee reach great heights and has been a magnificent place that is very magic and child friendly, full of prosperity and happiness. Even when she has been brainwashed, I think she has done very well in fighting it and avoiding any conflict with Lastation. Since we have managed to bring you guys back here, ending that silly war between us and re-declaring our alliance together, she has done a great job leading her forces here. And she even did a magnificent job driving Noire's impressive battle tank. And when the time comes she will be leading her forces when we liberate Lowee from our enemies once and for all.
As for the both of you, you already have unique talents. You have very good platforming skills, and your skills as acrobats is simply amazing. When the time is right I know you both will have a significant role in ending this chaos. We all do and we value your help greatly in this. I'm sure you'll be useful in helping Blanc leading your troops. Tell you what if you want why not be in charge of delivering supplies when and where appropriate in Lowee to our forces there." I explain to them.
After speaking to the pair of them, their faces light up with happiness as they hear how everyone here plays their part in our goal to bring peace. Their morale is especially high when they hear about what role they will have in this. The CPUs appreciate my speech too as they place their hands on my shoulder as well as kissing me, nodding as well.
"Ahhh you mean that? Thanks Black you're awesome." Ram spoke with much enthusiasm.
"You're great, thank you very much." Rom added nodding in agreement.
By this time we have eaten our mouth-watering large breakfast which fills us very well. I now think about the training we'll do for the day. Though my gut tells me we'll probably just familiarise ourselves with the weapons. Even then it won't be long as we both know ourselves to be expert soldiers, as well as having our abilities as important characters and the perk a colas at our disposal.
"I wonder what Pokémon we'll get to use, oh I've always wanted to be a Pokémon trainer. To be able to use them in battle as well as to look after them. I can't wait; it'd be so awesome for me." White spoke with excitement at the thought of being a Pokémon trainer.
I too would like the idea though I think White seems to be more of a fan than I do of this. The thing is I'm not sure if we'll get to be them just yet due to practicality.
"I would happily let you have some for when you go to Lowee as part of our reward to you. But unfortunately it's not practical. It's because we don't have any Pokémon of both that kind and level for the Pokémon that they have. Even the Pokémon there, there isn't that many at all. They don't even have many supplies for Pokémon or even a centre for them in Pallet Town. While we have plenty of supplies we can ship over, it would be difficult to do so without arousing suspicion.
With that said Team Rocket carries with them 6 Pokéballs per person, to capture any Pokémon in their area as part of their duty. So you'll be given 9 Pokéballs per person yourselves and these are no ordinary Pokéballs, these are master balls disguised as Pokéballs so you'll be able to capture any Pokémon with ease. Though once we've recaptured a Pokémon centre and we've regrouped with some allies there, we'll be able to give you any Pokémon of your choice within reason." Blanc explained coming across as apologetic for having to deny White her request.
9 master balls I remember how powerful they were, but to be able to have that many as opposed to just one per game is incredible.
"It's alright don't worry. It's probably for the best anyway. I dislike the idea of carrying Pokémon that are in need of medical supplies and that can't be healed for unknown amount of time." White nodded understanding exactly where Blanc is coming from.
"I agree and fair enough. It brings me grief to see the poor creatures get mistreated and abused by Team Rocket, they must be stopped. Out of curiosity what weaponry and equipment do you have for me and White?" I ask Noire.
"Well to be honest, they're not as impressive as the weaponry and equipment that Lowee has, and they're not as advanced as Lastation's. But this is due to the Team Rocket troops in the area having such poor weaponry and equipment. We don't even have many weapons and equipment of that sort and it doesn't sit well with me; sending some of our troops unarmed and relying on them to steal their stuff. We can't risk using our own weaponry as they'd know Lastation has invaded." Noire said as she got up.
"I'll also let you train with my Pokémon too, so you can familiarise yourselves with using them." Blanc added also getting up.
After which both Noire and Blanc get out of bed, leading us both to a room in the plane.
As we follow our sisters, our CPUs, thoughts race through my mind due to the observations I have made. One of them being is how come the Team Rocket we'll deal with will be weak and have poor weapons. It reminds me of having to deal with low level Pokémon in that area in playing the game. Then again it's like this with most games, how in the beginning your enemies are weak and have poor weapons, and as you progress they get stronger and harder. Perhaps it will be the same case here when as we go deeper in their lines; their weaponry will be more advanced.
It is sad for me that I will be traded my high tech Lastation weapons that are super powerful and have all the useful attachments to make my job easier, to more primitive and basic weapons of Team Rocket. Though I'm sure I'll be just as skilled with them, and I'm sure they won't let me down. With that thought it does baffle me that considering how it's clear that our weapons are more advanced than theirs, how on earth did they manage to take Pokémon province? Though these very thoughts seem to occur with other things, like with how come Leanbox is at Lastation's door step? Perhaps these questions will be answered eventually, even if it isn't soon enough.
It is now we enter the room and it is definitely large, though its appearance is similar to the other rooms regarding colour and decoration.
The room itself is a firing range consisting of a table full of the fire arms in question, along with the equipment we will use and the uniforms that will act as our disguises. The uniforms are basically Team Rocket grunt uniforms, one for male and one for female. In the room there is a row full of various targets of the usual characters we both despise as well.
Looking at the table itself the firearms are definitely more primitive and disappointing compared to, the awesome firepower we had from our own guns. With that said they could be worse and I couldn't help but note how I'm already familiar with these Team Rocket weapons, though it interests me to know these guns are what Team Rocket has.
There are 2 Arisaka bolt action rifles on the table. While they both have bayonets attached, one of them has a scope as well, though it's on top of the ammo feed meaning the user would have to load 1 bullet at a time. When I equip the scope-less version my HUD tells me the name of the weapon as well as 5/50. At least the 50 extra ammunition isn't bad considering the circumstances and the 5 bullets for the rifle was standard for that era, but it's certainly a big jump from having hundreds if not thousands of extra ammo and perhaps a couple of a hundred bullets per magazine.
There is also a double barrel shotgun on the table as well, made of mostly metal with a wooden stock. As soon as I pick up the gun my HUD tells me that I have 2/20 for my ammunition.
Finally for sidearms there are 3 Nambu pistols, with which I pick up one of them, lying there. I become pleasantly surprised to know this pistol has the extended mag attachment, giving this gun 12 instead of 8 bullets and it's nice that it comes with 120 extra bullets as well.
The weaponry on the table aren't just firearms but there are also some knives. Though there's only 7 of them. I take one to go with my new pistol, allowing White to take the rest so she can use them to throw against her enemies.
The equipment there is merely 18 Master balls disguised as Pokéballs. There are also some supplies to help us survive in our fight in Lowee, from food and drink to spare clothes and toiletries. There's even a sleeping bag, all of the equipment look like the sort of stuff that Team Rocket has, judging from the logos and the quality of them. It will be an interesting experience for us considering how we've always slept in some of the best accommodations our landmasses have to offer. And now we'll probably be sleeping outside in the stars, with nature. Though we've nothing to worry about as I'm sure we'll still get to eat their high quality 5 star cooking from their supplies.
We try out our weapons, getting used to the guns and knives that we now have.
I expect the Arisaka to have a very slow rate of fire even for its class and era. But to my pleasant surprise the perk a colas help increase the rate of fire. It's almost to that of a pump action shot gun. Like with my memory of the gun the noise it makes is fairly quiet for a bullet firing weapon. It's a pity that we do not have silencers because of the area not having any. They'd be useful and it will be quite the challenge relying on our knives, and the isolation of our enemies regarding going stealthy. We both fire a clip and it's good to know that we can maintain 100% accuracy with our weapons. White even manages to throw 3 knives at 3 different targets that are wide apart, hitting them all at the same time. Very impressive and very useful for taking out groups of enemies. I wonder if she's ever played Assassins Creed?
Satisfied with our skills in operating these old weapons with ease, as well as us being happy in knowing their strengths and weaknesses, we decide to holster all of our weaponry.
"Nice you guys always manage to have 100% accuracy, your knife throwing skills will be useful White. I am confident that you both will be able to take Pallet Town with no trouble." Blanc spoke with confidence in our abilities.
It is then Blanc passes us each a Pokéball. We both throw them out only to find that they appear to be none other than Kyogre and Groudon. Ah I remember them both, they were the legendary Pokémon from the 3rd generation series.
It amazes me how massive they both are compared to us, and how they fit perfectly inside this plane. Though I guess this could be video game magic.
Yeah Kyogre looking like some large blue creature from the sea, and Groudon looking like a red large armoured creature full of claws and spikes. They certainly look massive and they certainly look powerful. They're even level 100 and they'd probably be difficult to beat in battle. It's only right that someone such as the CPU of Lowee Blanc White owns one of these legends. And now we'll get to use these in our training, it's so thrilling that these powerful pocket monsters are ours to command even if it's temporarily.
"It's kind of you to lend me your Kyogre, he sure is powerful. Wouldn't I need 8 badges so that it will obey my every command?" I asked her.
"Like wise with your Groudon. Where did you get such Pokémon? You must be arguably the most powerful Pokémon trainer in all of Gameindustri." White asked.
The compliments make Blanc both smile and laugh.
"Well back then throughout my free time, as one of my hobbies I explored all of Lowee in an attempt to capture all the Pokémon just like the old saying "gotta catch em all". While many of them I've captured myself, some of the good people of Lowee donated some of theirs to me for being a good CPU for them, in fact a few of them were even legendaries like these ones.
As for badges don't worry about them, I've discovered that they obey you regardless and they'll obey anyone else that the owner authorises. So don't worry, because I've lent you these Pokéballs they'll obey your every command.
In Your HUDs there should be information regarding the name of the Pokémon, the moves it can do along with the types of each move, the type or types of the Pokémon it is, as well as the status and health of the Pokémon. All you do is tell the Pokémon what you want it to do and it will do it. Thing is though there is no turn taking when it comes to the Pokémon here.
"Hmmm very useful, what about the types is it the same way as before, in that water beats fire beats grass beats water? Ground beats electric beats flying?" I ask her.
"Yep you got it. Intelligence indicates that the Pokémon you'll encounter as you advance through Pokémon province, will be mostly poison. But don't worry we have plenty of ground and physic Pokémon to counter this." Blanc explained.
"Hmmm very useful indeed, that'll probably be their undoing relying on only one type." I comment.
"Exactly." Miss Lowee nodded.
After which we then give our Pokémon various moves such as surf, hydro pump and earth quake. One thing I definitely notice is that while they're impressive and would cause severe damage in normal circumstances, despite the devastation of these moves they do no harm to us, or each other or the environment at all be it this plane. Impressive stuff though I reckon it's video game magic or friendly fire being physically impossible in this universe. After being confident in knowing how to use our Pokémon, we then spend some time looking at the maps of the area we'll be going into on the PS4, as well as looking at the surveillance of their troops. It'll probably be dark by the time we go in, though that's no matter being as how we have special night vision. And I'm sure our troops will have something like that as well. Team Rocket will probably only have torches according to intelligence, so this makes our stealth part of the mission much easier.
And so it's not long before we go through the surveillance of it, meaning that we are ready and determined to do it. I don't feel scared at all and we've done everything we can. It's almost as though I'm going to an exam feeling nervous, despite doing all I can to revise. I know on paper we'd walk it and I'm confident it will be the case, I just have some feeling that this may not run as smoothly as we'd like. Though what can we do about it?
It's interesting to know that while we're both ready to go and commence our mission, it's not time yet. Though we then realise that once we start, we won't be seeing our families face to face for who knows how long. Even if we can talk to them by mind talk and we'll keep regular contact and our mission is a noble one beyond question, we love our family very much and I've only seen my beloved Noire for a few fun glamorous days and soon we'll be gone again, it feels quite sad for me..
I then realise that we can kill both problems with one solution, and spend our remaining time doing one of the things we love to do: have fun together while we still can. By this time it's time for our lunch so we go back to bed, and have lunch there while watching the beautiful scenery that ceases to end.
When we go back, we find the tray being full of dishes for each of us, as well as our respective favourite drinks. These dishes themselves I admire them for how unique they are, they're certainly different to say the least and I'm sure it will be very tasty indeed.
For me and my sisters its beer battered fish, which is quite large in a burger with special chips. Though it isn't just a battered fish burger, there's also battered scampi in there as well as prawn balls, mussels without the shell and even some sushi and lobster (which is all completely edible mind you). To top of the burger there is layers upon layers of delicious fried seaweed and plenty of tartar sauce. A very interesting lunch to eat, and a nice lunch to have before Lowee's liberation.
For the Loweean family their dish is equally interesting. Theirs is a large battered hot dog with at least a dozen onion rings and plenty of cheese slices, as well as lots of lettuce, a few large pineapple fritters with tomatoes and layers of bacon. For the sauce it's a healthy mixture of mustard, brown sauce and ketchup.
"This is one of not if not the best lunch we've ever had yet Noire. You're so creative with your dishes." I comment while eating this delicious tasty burger of mine, as I make noises showing how much I enjoy eating this delicious gourmet meal.
"Thank you for the compliment and I'm proud to say that all of my food is highly nutritious and provides all of the vitamins and vital carbohydrates, protein, fibre and much more healthy stuff. And furthermore no animals or fish or any creatures were harmed, in the making of this food. All this delicious food and drink is from the atom manipulator. Speaking of which I'm also proud to say that when it comes to providing supplies, we'll be able to supply you with any food and drink you desire. As our technology can preserve the food and drink into any way you'd like, while keeping all the necessary health benefits." Noire spoke with patriotism and pride as usual which I enjoy very much.
"Thanks Noire, you're so benevolent always thinking of everything." I nodded in appreciation.
She then kisses me in response before eating her food again.
"I really like how the troops we're sending to Loweean have both soldiers from Lastation, as well as soldiers from Lowee. It's just like how we have both Lastation and Lowee troops fighting together against the Leanbox invaders. While it's all nice, I understand that disguising the Loweeans is playing it safe and not revealing to Leanbox our alliance, but I'm concerned that our enemies already know anyway. And I do wish that we can afford to actually not have to disguise our troops as each other, so we can show the world that Lastation and Lowee are back together as allies." Ram observed speaking with pride as well.
"I completely agree and I have my suspicions as to whether we're merely pawns in their game, and what do they know about our plans if at all? But as you said it's better to be safe than sorry. I would also like to see the day when our alliance is official, not just a reality that's kept a secret.
I'm guessing that there has been no Leanbox activity on the border, or any signs of them mounting an attack has there?" I explain while doing a lot of thinking.
"Yep you're correct, there are no signs of Leanbox activity. We also have advanced surveillance and we're able to break their codes and hack the necessary equipment. All of this with no difficulty thanks to our black giant super computers. We'd know when an attack would be coming long before they do it, and we've heard nothing from them at all. Ever since that incident after coming back from Heihachi's, we've improved our surveillance and we're sure that every person in Lastation is accounted for and we know them all to be loyal. I only hope they don't know we have that advantage. Though we've done everything we can in using our advantage without over exposing it." Noire confirmed my thoughts.
"I have much suspicion with our enemy, and I wonder if they're waiting for me and White to go to Lowee. Do you know if they're able to crack any codes you use or hack any of your equipment?" I ask with curiosity, basically thinking a loud.
"It's a good idea fooling the enemy into giving them false information, but I know for a fact that they're unable to crack our codes or hack our equipment. There's no way they can find out any sensitive information about my plans. We've always had this advantage over them, which as much I hate to admit it, makes it even more baffling as to how they've reached our doorstep despite our intelligence being very accurate. I'm pretty sure we won't get any nasty surprises and I'm confident in our surveillance, considering how we've never been attacked without knowing beforehand." Noire explained. It's awesome that our great minds think alike.
"And for someone like yourself to make a deliberate mistake, they'd get suspicious. I completely understand. There's nothing to worry about you've got your technology, the help of the Loweeans, we have various crack troops of high quality. Even if they're to invade in my absence I'm sure you'd be able to keep them at bay." I reassure her.
We both then have a quick hug and kiss afterwards, as a sign of love and security as well as comfort.
We all continue eating our delicious lunches together as a family, and despite us enjoying each mouthful getting as much of the amazing taste as possible we eventually finish our food filling us up rather nicely. For me as delicious as the food was, not to mention how nice and appetising it looked. It does sadden me when I have to eat such a tasty work of art. Though I should think that Noire would have catalogued, and recorded every delicious meal she has created from these atom manipulators. I know she would have distributed them to her people so they can share in her delicious food. I'm sure I'll get to eat her delicious meals again, they're so tasty and unbelievable.
"I appreciate you guys enjoying my lunch, and it brings me great pleasure that between now and dinner in which afterwards you'll be dropped into Lowee, that we're going to give both Black and White a massage of a lifetime." Noire spoke with pride, smiling.
"You're going to love this White, thanks Noire I always appreciate an encore of your talent." I reply.
The tray full of dishes is cleared only for both me and White to lie on the bed on our fronts, with legs together and our arms by our side.
The 2 CPUs and the 3 CPU Candidates then split themselves into two groups. My family, my sisters and wife: Noire and Uni massages me, White's family, her sisters: Blanc, Rom and Ram massage her.
Both me and White look at the skies watching the landscape of this beautiful land of ours, as well as the cloudless sky on top of these lands. It's not long before both my sisters sit on my back, back to back as Noire massages my arms while Uni massages my legs.
While it's great to feel the comfort from Noire's work, as well as her kisses and cuddles from time to time. Uni also happens to be a talented masseur too and I'm pleasantly surprised how comfortable she is in doing this. Though perhaps I'm thinking of the awful Neptunia version. Ahh I feel so relaxed now. I could just lie there and let them do their thing as I watch the sky go by, Kenny G's songbird is being played again in the background, awesome background music.
"I never knew you to be talented masseurs guys." White replied sounding very relaxed as she enjoys the massaging given by her sisters.
"Well I must admit I don't often do this, but I've learned from a book and became good at it. We CPUs would like you both to have the best time with us as possible, and we also wish for you two to be as comfortable and as relaxed as possible before going on your brave noble mission. We're very proud of you." Blanc replied, though it's interesting how she also sounds relaxed almost as though she's flirting.
It's another awesome moment together that we both enjoy, though I'm curious what will our dinner be as I consider myself to be a fan of different tasty food. I just relax and enjoy the afternoon with all of these beautiful benevolent bright women from heaven. It's just perfect as I enjoy everything that's happening right now: the music, the view, relaxing and their talents, everything.
