Hey everyone!

I got to meet Dee Bradley Baker and go to his panel and he was AMAZING. He's actually a huge goofball. He talked like Tech at me, was just so nice, and REFUSED to let anything slip about season 3 to my sister. I got a print of the whole Bad Batch signed!

Anyway!

If you didn't see last time, I was invited to the awesome Emerald Library Discord server and have my own little channel! So come hang out and chat if you're up to it! Here's the link: discord . gg / elibrary(without the spaces because fanfiction . net is dumb) (also I'm not super familiar with how the server works yet but I think what you're supposed to do is say you're a reader when it asks and then my channel is under the misc fandoms/superhero section for some reason)

ZabuzasGirl: you'll have to remember that 1. She's in a really crappy situation right now and 2. Fives isn't a reliable narrator at the moment and you can't exactly trust his thoughts.

Bvadams: I'm glad to be back!

imaginationflies: Thank you so much! I always try to write the characters the way they deserve. And maybe you'll get a wedding scene… Poor Fives. He needs an intervention. Or therapy. Or both! I'd say yeah, we're starting to get into the season finale, but it's still going to take a lot more chapters to resolve.

Venomizer: I mean, if we get to the point where they're fighting. Maybe that won't happen? Also, I'm sorry you've had to deal with dumb thoughts like that. And yes. Yes he does.

RubenAssassinRose: Thank you! I'm trying so hard to keep it slow. I just want to jump in and get them together but that's not what they're like, unfortunately. And I hope so too!

I really like this chapter. It has some good stuff in it.

Mando'a translations at the end!

Rex had never been to a wedding. The only idea he had of one was the Mandalorian marriage vows that the clones had taken a liking to. He hadn't known any married clone outside of Cut, but he knew that many of the vod'e secretly dreamed of having someone to say the riduurok with.

The riduurok was simple. Merely saying the words and having them repeated back was enough to make the marriage official. It could be said anywhere: on a battlefield, in a bed with a lover, even sent over a message. Rex always imagined it to be a private affair.

The event Rex currently attended was not much more than that.

He, Fives, Echo, and Wrecker had arrived at a small building decorated in white, silver, and gold. Rhys had told them it was a place of worship for her people and that weddings were often held there. They were ushered in by a squat Pantoran woman in shining robes who Rex guessed was some sort of priestess.

The inside of the building was dimly lit, save for a large, intricate chandelier at the front that shone with a silvery light. The room was draped with silver and gold hangings and filled with rows of low benches.

Rex immediately spotted the small group of clones apart from the Pantorans already seated. He could see Kix, Appo, Coric, and a few other 501st veterans. General Skywalker and Chancellor Amidala sat with them, bouncing the twins on their knees. All in all, it seemed that Jesse had around a dozen guests.

Rhys didn't have much more. Rex thought he recognized her immediate family, along with a group of five or six more Pantorans. With them was a Twi'lek, a couple of humans, and a Duros. Rex assumed them to be friends of the family.

If not many more people showed up, there would be around thirty guests. The room could have held hundreds.

So different from the plans from yesterday.

Rex felt his throat constrict as they made their way through the room. Ahsoka would want to be here. She deserved to be here. She loved Jesse as fiercely as any of their brothers. There hadn't been time to tell her. He knew it would hurt her to be told after the fact.

"You're nearly late." Kix told them as they approached.

Rex glanced at Echo and Wrecker, the reason they were running behind. Both wore worried expressions and dark shadows under their eyes. They'd been trying practically all night to contact Hunter, Omega, and Tech. They had failed.

"We're here now." Rex said. He didn't want them to have to bring it up, for their own peace of mind. "Where's Jesse?"

"He's getting ready." Kix said. "I don't know why it's taking so long. Rhys' dad is in there helping him, I think."

"I don't get it." Fives said. "Aren't weddings just saying the vows? What does he need to get ready for?"

"Pantoran weddings are a little different from Mandalorian ones." Chancellor Amidala said. "You'll see when it begins."

By that time, Leia had stood up on Chancellor Amidala's lap.

"'Ex! 'Ex! 'Ex!" She chanted, holding her arms out to Rex.

Rex picked her up with a smile. She gave him a sloppy kiss on the cheek. Some of the turmoil he'd been feeling since the day before subsided.

"How are you, verd'ika?" He asked.

"Happy!" She said. She cocked her head, and then poked Rex's chest. "'Ex not happy?"

Rex swallowed. The Force wasn't fair, he decided, with allowing his bavod'e to see emotions they shouldn't have to deal with.

"I'm happy to see you." He told her, which was the truth.

She gave him a look far too discerning for such a small child. Luckily at that moment, the squat priestess came to the front of the room.

"Please take your seats," She said. "The ceremony is about to begin."

Rex sat down hastily with Leia still in his arms. The soft chatter of the room fell silent. The priestess tapped a gold tinted crystal with a small hammer and a soft, pure tone shimmered through the room. For a moment it reverberated. Then, two of the drapings at the front of the room shifted, and Jesse and Rhys came through. Rex blinked as he realized both were blindfolded. They were quickly followed by Rhys' parents: her father with Jesse and her mother with Rhys herself. The two older Pantorans took their arms and guided them to stand across from one another with the priestess in the middle. Then they left to take their seats, leaving Jesse and Rhys alone.

Rex now understood why Jesse had needed time to prepare. His face, arms, and legs, bared by the loose robe he wore, were covered in intricate golden markings. Rhys wore an identical outfit with similar markings painted on her blue skin.

Rex could tell that Jesse was tense, unsure. He didn't blame or envy him. He was sure that Rhys would have explained this to Jesse before, but still- this was unlike anything the clones had experienced.

The priestess took Jesse's left hand and Rhys' right.

"We are born into light." She said in a voice that seemed bigger than her. "The light of our Mother Moon and the light of those who love us. They come and go."

She continued in this manner for some time, speaking of what the 'lights' did for people: helping carry burdens, caring for their needs, making life brighter and happier. Rex couldn't help but think of Ahsoka.

"Mother Moon blesses many with the light that makes our own the strongest." The priestess continued. "Do you swear to be that for one another?"

"I do."

They spoke at the same time, their voices both trembling with emotion. The priestess guided their hands together. As soon as their painted fingers touched, the markings began to shine. Murmuring and gasps came from the clone part of the audience as the glow spread up the markings on their arms, legs, and face. Then the priestess lifted Jesse's hand to Rhys' blindfold and Rhys' to Jesse's.

"Behold that light." The priestess said.

Nearly in tandem the two pulled the blindfolds from the other's eyes. Jesse's face lit up in a grin as bright as the glowing markings. The shining paint made the tears running down both of their faces obvious. They embraced and Rex could see the desperation with which they clutched at each other.

Jesse began to speak.

"Mhi solus tome, mhi solus dar'tome, mhi me'dinui an, mhi ba'juri verde."

And Rhys replied, saying the words as she had been born speaking Mando'a.

"Mhi solus tome, mhi solus dar'tome, mhi me'dinui an, mhi ba'juri verde."

And then it was silent. Rex didn't know why, but he expected cheering from at least the clones. Instead, there was only the occasional sob.

This- this was wrong.

This was supposed to be happy. Jesse had found someone that loved him, a family beyond the clones. This was something they barely dared dream of during the war.

But it wasn't.

It was a shadow over them all, the fact that Jesse would be going back to war. That so many clones would go back to war. Rex could hear Chancellor Amidala's sobs at his side. He felt Ahsoka's absence so keenly that his own eyes began to burn.

Fives' words from the day before seem to hiss in his ear.

What were we doing, hoping for better?

Was his brother right? Were they barred from joy and life just by the nature of their creation?

7567's insidious voice spoke up, louder than it had been in days.

Yes. It told him. You fight against your purpose. Be what you were created to be.

Rex swallowed and clung to Leia. She snuggled against him and he gripped to the anchor she provided. No. Fives was wrong. Rex was loved, Jesse was loved, Fives was loved, even if he didn't realize it. That made them so much more.

People moved around him, but he barely registered it. Then, someone touched his shoulder. Rex looked up to see Appo standing next to him.

"Hey, Captain." He said. "If you've got a few hours, I think it's time for a visit."

Obi Wan sat in the safe house's living room, listening dully to the quiet talk coming from the kitchen. It was Cody's day to prepare the meals, but Oddball and Kor were helping him. Ahsoka and Crosshair were on the opposite couch, watching a holofilm. Crosshair seemed to delight in making snide comments about the quality of the production.

Obi Wan would have preferred to take his meal away from the others, or at least wait until it was finished to join them. Cody and Kor, however, had pestered him until he had left his room. He didn't know why. He knew he hadn't been pleasant company as of late. He had too much on his mind.

Obi Wan had been unable to escape the grip of the idea of Dooku's research. The prospect of the Republic plunging into another war made it worse. So many more would die.

But what if he could reverse that?

He had no chance of finding out here. Mere meditation could not bring him to the answers he sought.

"Oh please," Crosshair's sharp voice cut through Obi Wan's thoughts. "A blaster powered jetpack? I don't think the writers knew what a blaster was when they wrote this."

Ahsoka snorted.

Obi Wan glanced at the two. He wasn't going to get any answers with so many distractions here, either.

A soft beep sounded outside the front door. Obi Wan immediately tensed. Crosshair and Ahsoka snapped their heads to look to the entrance.

The beeping continued, the familiar cadence of the code that Appo used to gain access to their haven. Obi Wan did not relax until the door opened to reveal the clone Commander.

"Oh, Appo." Cody said, poking his head from the kitchen. "Good. We're running low on a few necessities."

"Not just bringing supplies this time." Appo said as he came in. "I've got a bit of a surprise-"

Ahsoka had stood, a wide eyed expression on her face. The moment that the next figure stepped into the apartment, she threw herself at it.

Rex caught her and Obi Wan was shocked to see him pull Ahsoka close to his chest and kiss her head. Ahsoka nestled her montrals under Rex's chin.

Obi Wan stared at them. He had known of their rather obvious feelings for one another, but Obi Wan had thought- Well, clearly Rex had recovered enough to engage in a relationship.

"Move, you two." Fives' voice said in a flat tone.

Rex pulled Ahsoka with him to the side to allow Fives, Echo, and Wrecker to come in. Wrecker's face split into a wide grin.

Crosshair just stood there as his brother grabbed him into a tight hug. After a moment he finally squirmed.

"Get off, Wrecker." He said. "What are you doing here?"

Wrecker let go of Crosshair with a watery laugh.

"Well, I had to come drop off your things today," Appo said. "And these four were with me."

"Is it safe?" Cody asked as he, Oddball, and Kor came into the room.

"Who cares?" Crosshair muttered.

"We were careful." Echo said. "We doubled back several times and we weren't followed."

For the first time in a few days Obi Wan tuned into the emotions of the apartment. A pervasive loneliness and anxiety was draining away. Relief and even joy were replacing them.

"We miss you." Wrecker said.

"How touching." Crosshair said.

His voice was dripping with sarcasm, but Obi Wan did not miss the way he kept himself close to his brother.

"'Scuse me, Commander." Cody said as he approached where Rex still held Ahsoka. "That's my brother you're smothering."

Rex exchanged Ahsoka for his brother in the embrace, pressing his forehead against Cody's.

Obi Wan watched the reunions with determination growing in him. There was so much happiness and comfort from this meeting and they had known that they would see one another again. Obi Wan could not imagine the exultation from being reunited with those lost to death.

Cody let go and Rex drew Ahsoka back into his arms. He leaned down and whispered something into Ahsoka's montral.

Ahsoka looked sharply up at him.

"Today?" She asked.

Rex nodded.

"I'm sorry." He said.

Ahsoka stared at Rex for a moment.

"Why now?" She said.

Obi Wan could see Rex swallow.

"The Serrenians have declared war." Rex said. "Along with a good part of the CIS."

The room seemed to freeze. The happiness grew a long, dark shadow that engulfed it.

Obi Wan felt cold. More war. More death.

"What?" Crosshair hissed. A wave of expressions crossed his face. "Where are Omega and the others?"

Echo hesitated and Crosshair narrowed his eyes.

"Where are they?" He said in a low, dangerous voice.

"We haven't heard from them since they left Ord Mantell two days ago." Echo said.

Crosshair stared at Echo before whipping towards Appo.

"Let me out." He snarled.

"I can't do that." Appo said.

"Let. Me. Out." Crosshair repeated. "I don't care if they catch me. I will not stay here and do nothing."

"Crosshair's right." Ahsoka said. She was clinging to Rex with only one arm now. "If my men are going to fight again, I need to be with them."

"Indeed." Obi Wan said. "We all would be of great use in the war effort."

Normally Obi Wan would have suggested caution, but not now. He needed to get out of this apartment. Now that the war had started, his quest could not wait. The power that Dooku had been searching for could change everything.

Especially if he could bring Dooku himself back to explain things.

"No." It was not Appo who spoke, but Rex. For the first time in months, Obi Wan fully saw the Captain he had served with. "The Serennians want you for crimes you didn't commit or for doing the right thing."

"The Republic shouldn't go to war for six people." Ahsoka said. "And if it does, I refuse to have these battles fought for me."

"It's not just about you six." Rex said. "This was inevitable. There are elements in the Serennian and CIS government that are willing to send assassins to the Senate, have Dooku killed, and then falsify evidence against General Kenobi and the others. You think they wouldn't find another way to escalate things if this didn't work?"

Obi Wan had to concede the Captain's point. Someone was determined to spark hostilities once more between the CIS and the Republic.

"There's still time for Fett to find that evidence." Rex went on. "It'll be weeks, maybe even months before anyone engages."

Fives gave an angry snort.

"We're betting a lot of our brothers' lives on a pretty big if." He said.

Rex looked at him.

"If it does come to that, at least we'll have something of our own to fight for." He said.

Obi Wan did not miss the gentle look he gave Ahsoka as he spoke.

"What a load of osik." Fives snapped, anger searing his words. "You assume that we all have something to fight for. Some of us will still be dying for a Republic that doesn't care. Just like Tup. Hardcase. Hevy. Droidbait. Cutup. 99. Waxer."

Fives' words seemed to slap Rex. The Captain's eyes were wide and his expression stricken.

Such passion. Obi Wan thought. Such loss. How- interesting.

Meanwhile, Ahsoka had taken Rex's hand and looked at Fives.

"Fives." She started. "Most clones-"

Fives cut her off with an angry noise before whirling around and storming to one of the bedrooms. The room stared after him.

"Allow me to speak to him." Obi Wan found himself saying.

Ahsoka opened her mouth, likely to protest or question. Before she could say anything, Obi Wan had left the room, leaving the others to deal with the blow they had been dealt. Obi Wan had a rather important discussion to have with Fives.

Ahsoka drew Rex to the side, away from the others. He still had one arm around her waist, reluctant to let go. Ahsoka let him and bathed in his touch.

"Are you all right?" Ahsoka finally asked.

Fives' comment about Waxer had clearly rattled Rex. Besides, she wanted to hear from his own lips that he was fine. She was sure that they didn't have much time.

"Yes." Rex said before taking a deep breath. "And you?"

"I'm bored." She said. "Crosshair and I watch some holomovies sometimes, and I read your books, but you get tired of sitting around."

Rex snorted.

"I can imagine."

Ahsoka let another moment of silence pass between them.

"Are you going to enlist?" She asked.

"Yes." Rex said quietly. "If they let me."

"Why?" Ahsoka asked, though she knew the answer.

Rex tilted her head up.

"I told you that I would fight for you." He said. "And to protect my brothers."

Ahsoka closed her eyes.

"This is what I get for falling in love with a good man." She said. "I won't tell you not to. But please, be honest when they evaluate you. Don't hide anything. I can accept it if you're truly ready to go, but if you're not-"
She trailed off.

"I will." He said. He chuckled, but it sounded like it was caught in his throat. "If I am ready, it's your fault."

"Yes, because I should have let you stay broken on the off chance that we went back to war." Ahsoka said. "Just to make sure that you wouldn't be fit to rejoin the army."

"You missed your chance." Rex said.

Ahsoka snorted and held him tighter. Her touch now might have to last him for an entire war.

Fives didn't know whose room he had holed himself in. He didn't much care as he seethed to himself, pacing in the small space. Why was he the only one who cared that they were going back out to die? Why did his brothers accept this so easily?

Someone knocked at the door. Fives didn't respond, hoping that they would kriff off. They didn't. General Kenobi slipped in a moment later. Fives didn't look at him, though he was a little surprised. He'd expected Echo, Rex, or Ahsoka. He wasn't sure if General Kenobi was much better. He'd heard his lectures to General Skywalker.

"Sir, with all due respect, I'm not in the mood for a sermon." Fives said.

"I'm not here to give you one." General Kenobi said.

That made Fives look up. General Kenobi's expression was- determined? What was going on?

"Fives," General Kenobi said. "I believe that you of all people will understand. You have loved and lost as much as anyone. The Force- the Force wishes us to right the wrongs of the war."

Fives stared. He had no idea what the General was talking about. But there was so much desperation in General Kenobi's voice. Fives felt like he had to listen.

"I believe there may be a way to bring those we love back from the dead, those who died before their time. I need your help to find this way, Fives." The General said.

Fives stared at him. Tup, Hevy, Droidbait, Cutup, 99, Hardcase. Dozens of other brothers dead because of the kriffing war. And thousands more would die now.

"How?" He whispered. "How do you know?"

"Dooku-" General Kenobi started, but Fives had heard enough.

"You think anything that demagolka said was worth anything?" He hissed. "He was trying to trick you, General."

"You don't understand, Fives." General Kenobi said. "I know there is some truth in his words, I can feel it."

Fives looked at the General, but only saw a desperate man clinging to a dream.

"I'll think about it." Fives finally said to placate the General. "But we have bigger things going on right now."

"That is precisely why we need to investigate now." General Kenobi said. "We could save millions in this war."

It seemed like a stretch to Fives. They didn't even know how this hypothetical resurrection worked. It could be a life for a life, or had a limit to who you could bring back. But he just nodded.

Luckily then, Fives heard Appo's call. They both returned to the living room to see the others giving their goodbyes. Ahsoka clutched to Rex as if they would never see each other again. Which, Fives thought darkly, they might not.

"You find them." Crosshair said as he fended Wrecker off. "You make sure they're okay."

"We will." Echo said, putting a hand on Crosshair's shoulder.

Crosshair stared at Echo with an intense gaze.

Meanwhile, Rex had peeled himself away from Ahsoka to give Cody another hug. Ahsoka took the opportunity to come to Fives. She embraced him.

"Are you going to enlist?" She asked.

Fives hesitated.

"I don't know." He said. "I doubt they'd take me."

As soon as he said it, he knew it was true. They'd think him too damaged to fight alongside his brothers. How was Rex more battle ready than him?

"Hang in there." Ahsoka said. "Hopefully this will be over soon."

Fives nodded mutely. If it did end, it would have nothing to do with him.

Useless. As ever.

Boba stepped off his ship into the hazy air of Daiyu. He grimaced. It was as if the undercity of Coruscant was made into a whole planet: layers of city, filth, and corruption. At least Daiyu had the gett'se to not hide what it was. Coruscant tried to cover its filth with a glittering crust.

Boba put his helmet on and plunged into the duracrete jungle. Luckily, few took notice of him. He'd painted his armor recently, and people didn't recognize him. Good. He didn't need word getting back to Bane, or this Tynar Rem. They'd be even more skittish, with this new war.

Boba felt his step falter. Renaar Ordo had commed him as he'd come out of hyperspace. Apparently, Boba was on a futile mission. The war had already started.

Renaar had wanted him to come back. Boba refused. Just because the war had started, it didn't mean that Boba couldn't bring peace by retrieving the stolen evidence. He still had time before anyone died.

Probably.

He was glad for his armor as he forged through the crowds of the unsavory and the unlucky. His helmet's visage was enough to dissuade most muggers and his vibroknife enough to deter the rest. Still, he kept his wits about him. Desperation, one of the prominent states of being on Daiyu, bred recklessness.

He got to the half finished strip of businesses without much incident. The line of buildings had been under construction when Jango had first brought him here six years ago. Jango had said that the project had been going during his first visit too.

Boba opened the door to one of the mostly finished buildings. The signs outside proclaimed it a spa, but Boba knew better. People here couldn't afford a massage, and those who could didn't come for one.

It was dim inside, though Boba was fairly sure it was on purpose. The low lighting, along with a few grimy water features and instrumental music playing over tinny speakers, were supposed to create a relaxing atmosphere. It didn't.

A small, scrawny Gran came loping from the back.

"Welcome, friend- oh, Boba!" Orp said. "I wasn't expecting you!"

Boba reached forward to shake Orp's stubby, three fingered hand.

"Wasn't really expecting to be here either til a few days ago." Boba said. "I sent you a comm, though."

Orp waved a hand with an annoyed air.

"You know Daiyu." He said. "It's a miracle if one of ten messages come in. One of these days I'm going to get out of here."

"You've been saying that since I was seven." Boba said with a smirk.

"And here I thought you trusted me!" Orp said.

"You're the only person I trust on Daiyu." Boba said.

Orp laughed and waved away the compliment, though it was true. Boba had several informants and trusted sources on most hub planets like Ord Mantell and Coruscant. He had one on Daiyu.

"Well, come to the back and we'll see what I can do for you." Orp said, beckoning.

Soon Boba was sitting in a parlor far cleaner than the front. He watched Orp pour a glass of cumber water. He grimaced to himself. Most of his sources offered a stiff drink, or at least a strong tea. Cumber water was for newborns or old women whose stomach would reject anything stronger.

Though, Boba thought as he took a sip, he'd heard stories of Mandalorian children rejecting the stuff.

"Last time you were here, I recall you vowing to never set foot on Daiyu again." Orp said mildly. "What changed?"

"You know the war that's going on?" Boba asked. "I might be able to end it prematurely."

Orp laughed.

"You and your dad always did like taking the big jobs."

Boba frowned. He'd expected Orp to take this a little more seriously. There was a kriffing war going on.

"Point is," Boba said. "I need to find either Cad Bane or a droid modifier called Tynar Rem."

Orp blinked his three eyes at Boba.

"I thought you dusted Bane." He said.

"Thought I did too." Boba muttered. "But like the pain in my side he is, he decided not to stay dead. Point is, I need to find him. Though you being surprised he's alive makes me think you haven't heard that he's around."

Orp shook his head.

"Not Bane, I'm afraid. But what's this other bloke?" He asked.

"Tynar Rem." Boba repeated. "Don't know much about him, other than that he apparently does the impossible. He's the more important target."

"Hm, rings a bell." Orp said, tapping his mouth. "Give me a minute, I'll see what I can pull up for you."

"Don't say it's me looking for him." Boba said.

"Of course, of course." Orp said. "You scare too many people and all that."

Orp disappeared into another room. Boba leaned back into his chair, dropping all pretense of drinking. He stared into the cumber water, thinking.

Renaar had told him that the Mandalorians were already moving out from Mandalore. Kryze was following through on her di'kutla promise to fight alongside the Republic. He still wasn't quite sure why. Sure, her nephew was technically involved, but from what Boba was seeing, Serreno was focusing on Kenobi and the clones. Kryze would likely be able to remove Kor from the situation without much fuss.

But no, she had to throw the still weakened Mandalorian people back into the fray. Boba knew that the Mandalorians wouldn't question the flimsy reason. In fact, Boba wouldn't have protested their involvement at all. The Mandalorians fought, that's who they were.

The problem was that the Mandalorians didn't quite know who they were right now. They needed time to work together as a people again and discover what they wanted. Not to mention that Boba suspected that Kryze had another, more sinister motive to this whole thing.

"Boba!"

Boba didn't jump, but Orp's voice still surprised him.

"Good news and bad news." Orp said as he came back into the room. "Good news: there's plenty about Rem floating around. Bad news: it's mostly rumors and hearsay. I've only got about three decent leads and they all point completely different directions."

"It's a start." Boba said. "See if you can't throw some more rumors in the pot, just to see if Bane will take the bait. What's the closest?"

Boba steeled himself as Orp gave him the info. He wasn't looking forward to this wild bantha chase. But if he wanted to help Mandalore, it was what he needed to do.

Mando'a:

Vod'e: brothers

Riduurok: the Mandalorian marriage vows

Verd'ika: little warrior, Rex's nickname for Leia

Mhi solus tome, mhi solus dar'tome, mhi me'dinui an, mhi ba'juri verde: We are one when together, we are one when apart, we will share all, we will raise warriors. Mandalorian marriage vows

Osik: crap

Demagolka: literal monster/war criminal

Gett'se: slang for testicles/balls

Di'kutla: idiotic

From the top!

We do get a marriage! Except it's sad. I did have a lot of fun making up the Pantoran wedding ceremony based completely on their tattoos and their belief in a moon goddess.

I should write more scenes with Rex and Leia. They're too cute.

Rex is strong enough to fight back against 7567, even without Ahsoka!

While writing this scene where Crosshair and Ahsoka are watching a movie, I realized that Crosshair is ONE HUNDRED percent that person that constantly pokes holes in the plots of movies and is super pretentious about the movies he does like. I have also decided that Crosshair and Wrecker are both Christopher Nolan fans, but for completely different reasons.

If Obi Wan feels slightly off in this chapter, it was on purpose. Also, it felt SO GOOD to write Rex as Captain Rex in this scene. He's leading again.

Ooh Obi Wan is looking for an accomplice. Fives is not on board…yet.

I didn't think much of this Boba scene until I read it out loud during editing. And dang it's tightly written. I don't even know where it came from.

Also, yes cumber water is basically space cucumber water. I made it up. Which is funny because I actually like cucumber water.

Man, I just really like this chapter. It's solid.

Anyway, that should be everything!

Stay safe, remember to review, and have a great week!
