Chapter 81: Our Ambush
Before Chapter 81 I wish to thank TMCraze for his review and inform you readers that this chapter may be a bit gory.
As promised the supplies have arrived and it was such a wonderful sight, as it's full of delicious food and drink fresh from the Lastation atom manipulators, clothes of various sizes, brand new tents, medication to heal all of the sick and injured we have here, as well as guns and plenty of ammunition for them, and of course the perk a colas our most useful drinks in the field of battle. There are even a few Nintendo handhelds consoles in there to bring morale to the Loweeans living here. It was nice to see the look on everyone's faces as their faces lit up to see their salvation arrive from the air, as an invisible crate is lowered only to then reveal itself when it lands on the ground. I even hear them cheer as they see plenty of supplies to go around, not just for us but for the allied camps that we hope to visit.
While we ensured that we share the supplies around, we took them quickly and with much enthusiasm. It's not long before we have packed them as well as consuming the perk colas, and putting the medication we have received to good use. Soon afterwards we consumed our breakfast and its nice how everyone enjoyed it, as they eat with much joy. I myself enjoyed eating this meal as I always enjoy eating the gourmet food from Lastation.
The food consisted of bacon, sausages, tomato, fried eggs, mushrooms, hash browns, fried potatoes, baked beans as well as toast, pancakes, rice, maple syrup and omelette. There were also various fruits, fish and cereals, and I couldn't help but notice how the foods remind me of foods that I had before coming to Gameindustri, more specifically they reminded me of specific places that I believe myself and the CPUs were actually from. I did my best to enjoy each mouthful I had and it's great how I got to try a reasonable amount of each food. As much as I enjoyed eating it, I can't help but feel slightly homesick as already I miss my friends and family, as well as seeing how heavenly Lastation is. It's a bit of a shame that this could be my last breakfast unless my brainwashing gets fixed. Still it was very nutritious and I feel fully alert and refreshed, but what concerns me is will there be lunch or dinner? While it may not be good to be concerned about eating food when we're in enemy territory, the thing is I need energy to keep me alert and food and drink provides this, and while I know my allies in Lastation are doing their best providing us with this, I'm unsure if they're able to. I just have to hope so and I am confident that since their supplies have been good and reliable, I'm sure we'll be having lunch and dinner as well.
But still as I finished breakfast and ready myself as the troops here do the same, I told myself that I must focus on the task at hand. After a short while we've finished breakfast, made the supplies to good use, and we have prepared ourselves and are ready to go. To be honest it was so nice to see all the troops assemble before me. I see dozens of our own loyal troops that are in much better shape than last night, all of them alert and feel able to fight today. I just hope many of them can survive and I'm able to lead them to victory like last night.
After informing the troops of our plan, we set off but not before ensuring that there is no evidence of a camp here. It is now I look ahead in this forest to see nothing but trees of various shapes and sizes with different leaves. There doesn't seem to be anyone here even with my different visions.
"It's nice to see everyone here looking so much better and refreshed, after being on the brink of survival here for who knows how long. Hopefully we can spread this to more of the Loweeans in the nearby camps." Uni speaks via mind talk sounding rather pleased.
"Oh yeah, it's nice to see that these guys that were starving, injured and close to death are now well fed, well clothed, healed, and ready for battle with more clips and weapons. The breakfast was very delicious by the way; it's nice how you've brought the wonderful mouth-watering food from Lastation. In fact thank you so much for all of the supplies it's much appreciated." I reply to her in a similar tone.
"You're welcome, any time you deserve it. Okay the allied camp shouldn't be too far from your position, but nearby there is an enemy patrol heading for your location." She informs me.
After hearing her say this to me I then thank her for the information, before I then switch to a scoped Arisaka with a bayonet that I've picked up from the supplies. I order a few snipers to join me as I rush forward for a short while, before climbing up a nearby tree overlooking where we're heading. The other snipers who have joined me have also climbed up a tree of their own.
As I look ahead with my scope I then see a team rocket grunt carrying an Arisaka with a bayonet attached, moving cautiously. It's not long before I then see more of them following him, all carrying the same weapon with the same attachment. There must be about a couple of dozen of them, while they pose no threat to our superior numbers, ideally I'd like them taken out before they're able to find any of us.
Therefore I order my snipers to open fire on them, when we've fired our first shots they grow confused as they're unsure where it's coming from. We quickly fire again and before we fire the third shot, they try and fire back but they have no idea of our location. We fire again and as we wipe out another group of them with our fifth bullet, they try and hide in the nearby trees by which time we had to reload, which took quite a little bit of time due to having to load one bullet at a time, despite the perk a colas. By the time we've reloaded our rifles, they have managed to run forward before hiding again, of course it made no difference because as soon as they have poked their heads out, we shot them down. As soon as the final one has died, Uni then informs me of how there's a group of them nearby, who are a bit off the path and have a machine gun. We then climb down the trees and regroup with our main force.
I decide to get a few sub machine gunners to join me, as we follow Uni's direction in taking down the enemy group that's close to my position, while I equip a Type 100 with extended mags. It's a good thing Uni is watching us as there's nothing but trees and plants, it's difficult to find where I am due to how there's no distinctive landmarks for me to remember. It is then I start overhearing a conversation from Team Rocket.
"I get the feeling that we're running late, we're supposed to have those supplies by now. We need more troops in the area considering how some of the Loweean resistance have had the guts to attack us last night." A male speaks with concern.
"Yeah I know, it appears we have suffered many casualties. If they get their hands on it, it could prove disastrous." A female member shares the same concern.
"You two should relax not like I care or anything. I mean this could be a last ditch attempt, I highly doubt they're getting outside help. Besides we are in control of every town and city, we patrol all of the routes and I've rarely heard reports of Loweean attacks, many of their bases have been found and many of them have been wiped out." A female replies harshly in her distinctive tsundere tone.
Despite hearing the tsundere speak annoy me, as it reminded me so much of how Noire was in the series and how she was mocked so badly for it, I do my best to ignore it as I focus to see how many of them there are, so I can plan my attack accordingly. Like with last time there are about a couple of dozen with them armed with Arisakas, and I can assume that one of them is a boss who happened to be a female who has long haired pig tails carrying two Nambu pistols, one in each hand as well as a katana which is holstered on her back.
I then order my troops to encircle this group, if we can attack in multiple directions then it may confuse them a bit. As soon as they're in position, we open fire against them.
Because of how we've caught them off guard we've managed to wipe out the majority of that group, but the boss remains unscathed after our attack. Because we've had to reload even if it's quick, they had a chance to return fire and that's what they do. By the time I've reloaded I then notice that a couple of troops do a banzai charge at me, as well as the boss after she's fired all of her bullets from her dual wield Nambu pistols.
I notice the boss is ahead of the two, so I decide to mow her down as best I could. I fire my entire magazine and despite each bullet harming her, it doesn't take her down though she does receive a good number of bullet wounds now, which are causing her to bleed quite a bit. Knowing that switching weapons is faster than reloading, I switch to my rifle and stab her before she can strike me with her katana. Soon afterwards unfortunately, I get stabbed by the two enemy infantrymen. I'm forced to let go of the rifle though at least this hurts her as she's forced to stand and take out the bayonet, as it causes even more of her blood to gush out, especially at her guts where the bayonet pierced her. She's yelling a lot though so am I and I'm losing a bit of blood, as the two soldiers are franticly stabbing me in various parts of my torso. I manage to draw my pistol and shoot at them but due to the number of stabs, my health is not high anymore.
By the time I've dealt with the two enemy soldiers, the enemy female boss has managed to pull out the bayonet, though I now see a large hole where it's struck her and it's full of blood gushing out of her body. She's constantly screaming and even yelling: "it's not like it hurts or anything". But despite the immense pain she's in, she holds her katana ready to strike me down. I quickly get out my Type 100 submachine gun and reload it while she charges at me. Fortunately the reload doesn't take too long and I'm able to fire away at her. Because of how fast I can fire my gun, I'm able to shoot her down before she's able to strike a blow with her katana. Eventually the damage proves too much for her, as she drops her katana down before collapsing on her back, as her torso is completely covered in wounds and her blood comes out, covering where's she's been. By this time my allies have finished off the rest of the enemies.
I pick up my sniper rifle and regroup with my fellow submachine gunners, I feel pleased that while I'm a bit injured and my wounds ache a bit, I'll heal up over time and it's nothing to concern me. We then head back to our main group only for Uni to inform me via mind talk, that on the route is a fairly large force of enemies heading our direction.
With this knowledge I order my troops to advance slowly, until I'm able to see them with my scope from my Arisaka rifle. Eventually I see for myself that there are dozens of them heading for us. They're all riflemen armed with bayonets with a couple of them armed with more advanced rifles, who I can only assume to be bosses. Upon seeing this I give the order for all of us to go prone and wait until we see them all.
At first I see nothing but trees in front of me, though I realise that they're moving cautiously rather than just marching or rushing towards us. Eventually after a bit of time has passed, we then see an army of about a hundred enemies approach us. We mow them down and after firing an entire clip at them from all of our guns, the enemy army is defeated and even the enemy bosses don't stand a chance against us.
"Excellent works guys this is amazing we haven't lost a single life yet. Anyway there are just a few machine gun posts and an army of about 100 strong between here and the allied camp. Unfortunately a fairly large army of a few hundred strong, led by Team Rocket are heading towards that camp. I don't think they'd be able to hold out, not without sufficient numbers or them being in a state to fight." Uni praises us.
"Thanks a lot, I'm not sure if it can be done without your support." I reply to her.
"Ah you're welcome anytime my big brother. Unfortunately intelligence indicates that another large Leanbox invasion force is heading our way, and I'll be needed to deal with that situation when they arrive." She informs me via mind talk.
"Fair enough, I wish you the best of luck." I reply to her sounding hopeful that she will succeed.
Hmmm this does concern me, I just hope that by the time she has to leave I won't be needing surveillance to guide me. I also hope that we can get to the allied camp on time, I guess all I can do for now is deal with the enemies that are in front of me.
I order my troops to head out, still following the route to the allied camp. It's not long until with the help of my sniper scope that I see a few machine gun nests in the distance. With the help of my good allies, I snipe the gunners knowing that I'm out of their range. This causes more of them to mount their guns but they too get shot down by us snipers. Just as I anticipated the rest of their troops decide to move towards us, in hopes of getting within range. This tactic however proves to be their undoing, as they walk straight into our fire and I'm then able to order the rest of my troops to wipe them all out with a few shots from our rifles.
"Nice, very beautiful ok there is another line of gunners and enemy soldiers there, though not as many. It's just them between you and the camp now, but the enemy are charging towards the camp at this moment. They are some distance away but I don't know if the allies there are able to hold out for much longer." She informs me sounding quite concerned.
"Thanks for the information, I think it's best that I take a fair amount of troops around and attack the enemy that are after the camp." I reply to her via mind talk.
"White I'll need you to take out the remaining enemy line, I'm going to flank it with a portion of our troops and attack the enemy army en route to the allied camp. Once the enemy line is taken care of, head to the camp and reinforce it should my force fails to defeat the enemy." I mind talk to her only for her to nod.
"Paula you stay and engage the enemy gunners, I want the submachine gunners and a portion of the riflemen to come with me and attack their flank." I order them.
As the snipers kill the gunners, I lead my force away from the gun fight. We're all running as fast as we can which is very fast thanks to the perk colas, towards the direction that Uni tells me to. With my vision I'm soon able to see the enemy in the distance charging towards the camp, I just hope I can set up the ambush in time.
I order my troops to hide behind the trees which are next to the path that the approaching enemy army is currently using. We manage to get into position before they run past, but I find myself trying to think of the best time to trigger my ambush. I decide to do so when the first person runs past me, as we're all in a line and I'm closest to the allied camp.
As I wait for the right moment to strike, I can't help but feel concerned that we might not be able to wipe them all out. I hope it doesn't come to that but if so, I hope White will be ready for the remaining enemy force should that happen.
It's not long before the enemy rushes past us and so we lean from our hiding places and strike. A good number of the enemies die from our ambush, but there are still plenty more of them there. At least we've stopped them from entering the camp, as the remaining enemies are either hiding in nearby tree, trying to shoot at us, or forming a defensive position from the camp as they believe that the camp will attack them.
We do our best to fight them and for the most part we're able to wipe out a fair number of them, but then it becomes clear that there are about half a dozen bosses here, with some of them male and some of them female. The thing is I hear one of them laughing manically as she's hiding behind a tree. I notice her hair being really long and tied in pig tails, and how she carries two Type 100s, two Nambus, a Type 5 rifle with a bayonet, as well as a belt full of knives.
"Mays Anne is the name or Annie if you want. I'd just like to tell you how much I love you Loweeans. I love you so much that I'd love to kill you all, so that no one else can have you. Sam, Jaw go invade the camp with your riflemen, I'll deal with these guys here. Come on ladies let's get them." She boasts.
I can't help but wonder what is it with some of these Team Rocket grunts and bosses that I have to deal with here. The thing is this isn't ideal and I only hope that by now, White and her troops are able to deal with these guys because if not, that camp will most likely be destroyed.
"White we're pinned down here but we've got enemy troops heading for that camp. Are you at the camp now?" I ask her via mind talk.
"We've just finished wiping out the enemy line, we're on our way to the camp right now." She replies to me in the same way.
I just hope that they can get there in time, meanwhile there is the matter of dealing with Annie and her troops, which has now become quite difficult as quite a few of our guys have either been killed or wounded, from either her knives or her guns. I decide to wipe out the enemy troops one by one through means of my rifle and my vision, as I know that this rifle can shoot through trees to kill its target. I eventually manage to wipe out all the enemy infantry with this method, but by this time a third of my troops (which are about a hundred) have already died and half of the remaining ones are wounded. At least my troops have done their best in inflicting damage against the bosses, but they don't even appear to be wounded. This isn't good. I decide to try and position myself away from the fire fight, so I can pick off the weaker bosses and lure them to me. With the same method I fire an entire clip of my rifle into the boss which is a female. By this point she's now wounded and I can tell she's not pleased, as she charges towards me with a Type 100 in hand. I quickly reload and fire again at her, wounding her even more.
The thing is as I fired my sniper rifle at her, she notices where I am. I switch to my SMG before we both fire at each other. We fire an entire magazine at each other before we both have to reload, after which while I'm still ok, she on the other hand is clearly close to her death as she's bleeding heavily, and she is even clutching parts of her body as she aches really badly. We both then reload our guns. She struggles to do so due to the immense pain of her body, though I on the other hand am able to reload at quite a speed before finishing her off thanks to the special drinks. With that it's now one down, two to go and at least now my troops are fighting even more cautiously, although there is still the occasional casualty. What does please me is knowing that Annie's other ally is now wounded quite a bit.
I decide to do the same trick again where I fire at her ally with my sniper rifle. Although she notices when I shoot her, I manage to shoot her with every bullet of my clip, as she tries to hide behind some trees. Knowing that her health is running out, she leans out and fires her weapon which is a semi-automatic rifle. This does little damage and as she fires at me, I fire round after round after round of my weapon at her until she falls to the ground dead.
Now it's just Annie to deal with, but she notices her friend being dead and like the yandere she seems to be, she's really angry now. To be honest I've never like the …deres I don't like the tsundere, the kudere or the yandere. Yanderes are probably the worse due to how violent they are, and how they desire to kill their loved one or anyone important just because they love them. In response I yell for my troops to assist White back at base, as I'm concerned that they'll die easily if they were to engage her.
She tries to attack me with her dual wield Type 100s, but by this point I'm hiding behind a nearby tree holding my Type 100, and ready to fire back at my window of opportunity. I realise that despite having dual wield Type 100s would make her powerful, it would take a long time for her to reload both weapons, so I only have to wait before she's finished firing that weapon.
It's not long before she's finished and it is then I lean out and fire my SMG at her, but in response she fires her dual wield Nambu pistols, only for her to then start throwing her knives at me. This forces me to hide behind the tree where I know that the knifes cannot harm me. I decide to switch to my sniping rifle and fire at her, only for her to switch to her rifle and fire at me in retaliation. I only manage to fire all of my rounds before she charges at me in an attempt to stab me.
After this it becomes a matter of using our bayonets to stab our enemy, our rifles then become makeshift spears as we spar with them against each other. While I'm pleasantly surprised to find myself being able to protect myself like this as she clearly knows how to fight with a spear, I'm concerned that she could eventually out manoeuvre me and then stab me repeatedly. I decide to make a run for it and try to climb the nearest tree, in hopes that she can't climb trees and then it'll just be a matter of shooting at each other, where I know I'll win.
As I hoped I manage to climb up the tree and she's unable to get to me. I manage to reload my SMG and fire an entire clip against her, as she tries to fire at me with her rifle, but oddly enough she then throws her rifle at me as though it's a javelin. The thrown rifle not only hits me in the chest where it hurts quite badly, I also get knocked off from the tree with this attack. Great my chest and back aches rather badly, I fear she has me now and she knows this.
She stands there laughing and gloating as she reloads both of her SMGs. All I can do right now is to pull out the blade which is stuck inside me, and hope that I can get up again despite my back aching. This reminds me of last night.
Despite the agonising pain, I bring myself to pull out the bayonet which I do so with both of my hands. It isn't easy though due to the pain and how far in the bayonet is, but fortunately just as she's finished reloading her weapon, I have the weapon pulled out but not without a good amount of blood being lost, as well as me being just over half health after the combined stabbing and falling. Fortunately I have the medication for this, but I need to hold out just a little longer before I finish this fight. Although I've managed to pull the bayonet out of my chest, she opens fires against me before I can get up. Although I should be able to sustain this amount of damage even now, the bullets still hurt me quite a bit and I need to fight back against her, if I am to stand a chance.
When she runs out of bullets for her two SMGs, with all of my strength I manage to get up and throw the rifle at her, with the intention of its bayonet striking her torso which will hopefully force her into serious pain, and prevent her from attacking me. Luckily the rifle penetrates her in the chest as the bayonet punctures right through her body, causing her to stagger around as she tries so desperately to pull it out while she screams in agonising pain.
As she struggles to get the rifle out, I fire shot after shot after shot from my sniper's rifle hurting her really badly as I target specific areas of her body, which thanks to the thrown rifle isn't difficult as she's not moving around much, just spinning around as she's trying so hard to get it out.
Eventually she's unable to pull out the bayonet in time, as the damage I've inflicted against her proves to be too much for her. She collapses on the ground with blood all over her, and the rifle's bayonet still inside her.
"I've defeated the enemy here. How are things at the camp?" I ask White via mind talk.
"We've defeated the enemy here but not without a fair amount of casualties." She replies to me.
"Yeah my own men have suffered casualties too, worse I'm in quite the bad shape so I need to patch myself up before I can continue. I propose you get half our guys there to drop off their supplies, and then come and meet me where I am. Meanwhile you provide the supplies to them, heal any wounded and feed any starving allies." I reply to her.
"Good idea I'm relieved that this allied camp has been saved. I hope you're alright?" She asks me with genuine concern over how I am right now.
"Yeah same here, I just hope we can save the others and don't worry I'll be alright, nothing Lastation's finest medication can't fix." I reply to her.
"Nice to see you've saved that base, I'm proud of you for winning that boss fight. I hope you're alright though Black, it must have hurt really badly." Uni speaks to me via mind talk, sounding rather proud of me as well as being concerned over my injuries which I appreciate very much.
"I'm ok sort of, it does hurt to be honest. But I'm confident that if I am take some of your finest medication I'll be fine. Are there any enemies near my position right now?" I ask her.
"There are some but a fair distance away, you should be able to heal yourself up nicely without any enemies noticing.
I wish to inform you that your supplies include a special cream which I believe Noire has given you on your first day. Unfortunately only you have this cream for now but with this one I will be able to heal you, although Noire is still able to heal you when she sees you.
The thing is because of how there might be enemies that have seen you wounded, I think its best that you request to be healed and I decide whether to heal you depending on whether it would arouse suspicion. I apologise about that." She replies to me.
"Wonderful thank you very much Uni. It's alright they may recognise me as a boss, but they'll suspect I'm from Lastation if they find I have super healing abilities. It's rather unfortunate that it effectively only works when you're watching over us, but it can't be helped and at least I have back up medical supplies even if it's from Team Rocket." I say to her by mind talk sounding understanding.
After which I get to work on healing myself by applying the cream on the many wounds I have, it pleases me to know that the cream will always heal me no matter how many times I'm wounded. The thing is however I need Uni to do so as well as for the circumstances to be alright. It's not long before I'm done and Uni heals me back to full health.
I definitely feel so much better, nothing like a good recovery, my body feels able and alert, nothing hurts me and I feel so refreshed like I've received a long pleasurable massage from Noire.
"This cream is excellent at healing. It's so effective at getting rid of pain as well as the cuts, scars, bruises or any wound really quickly. It even makes me feel like I've had a massage or something relaxing like that. It's as effective as Noire's massage techniques." I say to her sounding very happy with the results.
"Thank you so much for the compliments I'm definitely pleased, I know Noire and the inventors will be. It's definitely the best technology we have with regards healing people from injuries in battle. It's quick, has plenty of uses, its super effective and even gives the body the feeling of it being massaged. I just wish we were able to mass produce the cream so that every soldier on the field can heal themselves instantly without bandages, medicine or pain killers. I suppose that's the thing with having so many projects that we'd like to complete, so we can make the world a better place for every living creature that lives here. It's also a pity that you're incognito due to practicality, because then I could just heal you every time you ask." Uni says to me sounding so much like our sister, which I enjoy very much as it's nice to be reminded of her, and how much I love everything about her.
"Don't feel so bad Uni, the technology you have already does change life for the better. Just think how better it would be if the projects did become a reality. It's just a matter of time and I'd say we're doing rather well with regards progress, and how we're making a positive difference to those we affect." I reassure her with my speech.
"You're absolutely right Black, I thank you for your moral support. There are a group of enemies nearing your position. They're hiding amongst the trees in an attempt to ambush anyone who walks past." The Lastation Candidate replies sounding more confident.
I then thank her for the information before mind talking to White about how she's getting on at the allied camp. Although she still has more work to do with regards looking after the people there, it shouldn't be too long before allied troops arrive at my position, but I do feel I need to get to the next allied camp as quickly as possible. As soon as I see a good number of allied troops arrive armed with Type 100s and Arisakas, we move out.
As we head on out I inform my troops to be careful of a potential ambush. I then use my visions to track their location down. They're hiding amongst the trees and some are even at the top. I'd say there about a couple of dozen of these guys there.
Knowing full well of the potential consequences, I open fire against one of the enemies hiding amongst the trees. This alerts the rest of them and many of them are shocked as to how I managed to shoot one of them hiding there, without them seeing me. They then rush out in hopes of finding where I am but due to the lack of visibility when looking at the trees, they don't spot me though they all try and scan the area only to then patrol the area.
A group of them happen to walk past my tree, so I give them a surprise by wiping them all out with my SMG. Many of the members of the remaining group try to rush into the location of their fallen comrades, but I then wipe them out as soon as I see them. The guys in the trees try and look for me with their sniper rifles, but they still can't find me and one by one I shoot them all down. I suppose one thing that gives me an advantage over them is how thanks to the vision, I'm able to see them through the trees so I can shoot them without revealing myself to them.
It's not long after that before I've wiped out the group of enemy soldiers, but I am concerned with how long it's took and I am worried about how there's going to be a group of enemies heading for the camp. But still it's amazing how the camps have managed to survive this long without being spotted despite numerous patrols, lack of food, supplies etc. I wonder if Team Rocket instead starves them out and just patrols areas to make sure the Loweeans don't venture out of their enclosed areas, so to speak.
In any case I have no time to waste as I lead my troops further along the route, before Uni informs me of a few machine gun nests nearby, as well as another group of troops who are guarding them though this time there is a boss leading them.
It doesn't take too long before I manage to pick off all the enemy gunners from afar. Surprisingly enough the rest of them do a banzai charge against us, though this proves to be their undoing as we just mow them down, even the boss amongst them cannot withstand the damage that we deal them.
"Excellent work ok there's an enemy camp nearby that is fortified pretty well with plenty of machine gun nests, a few bosses and numerous troops patrolling around the various tents. Unfortunately as of this moment a large enemy of Team Rocket troops are heading for the allied camp, and unless they receive reinforcements it will be overrun. What's worse is that they're pretty close already and none of the troops in the camp are in a good shape to fight back." Uni informs me sounding rather concerned.
I thank her for the information, we then head to the allied camp, doing our best to flank the enemy camp without being spotted. Even with the perk a colas I am indeed worried about whether we'll make it in time, I'm also worried about coming up with a strategy to take out the enemy army, especially with how they'll have more troops than us and more bosses. Still if I can rescue the allied camp then I'm certain that we'll then be ready to take the checkpoint, though I'm pretty sure it'll be heavily fortified. Still capturing that area would mean we get their important supplies, and it could become a turning point for us winning Viridian Forest.
But despite the concerns of the high possibility of not making in time or defeating them, I do my best as for now we rush to the allied camp at the highest speed we can do, and at the most direct route we can take.
