As the sun sets over the dense canopy of trees, a group of mercenaries quietly move through the jungle, scanning their surroundings for any potential threats. Suddenly, they come across a clearing where several businessmen are waiting for them. The leader of the mercenaries steps forward and shakes hands with the businessmen, exchanging nods of acknowledgment.
One of the businessmen then steps forward and presents a metal suitcase, emblazoned with the distinct logo of the ZOO corporation. With a grin, the mercenary leader eagerly opens the case and looks inside, revealing a product that would earn them a substantial payout.
However, as he reaches inside the case to grab the item, a sudden jolt of fear runs through his body as a cold, metallic object is pressed against the back of his head. Turning his head slowly, he sees one of the businessmen holding a gun against him, a sly smile on his face.
Their associates look on in shock, calling them out. "Takumi! What's the meaning of this?"
They just continue smiling, keeping the gun fixated on the leader's head as they reach out for the suitcase. "Sorry boys, but I cannot allow you to walk away with the goods. You'll have to come with me."
Before they can take the case away, the businessman holding it, snatches it back from the leader, freeing their hand. The leader gets into a struggle against the traitor in the group, smacking the gun out of their hand with the back of their fist. The rest of the mercenaries come through the trees and try to assist, their leader making the order, "Grab him. I want him alive!" The traitor gets tackled by one of the mercenaries, but they get quickly tosses over their shoulder, and thrown into the businessman with the suitcase.
It falls out of their hands, and slides on the ground to the traitor's feet. The reinforcement mercenaries try to take it from them, but without lifting their foot off the case, the traitor easily disarms and subdues them, showing off their flexibility.
"You're not Takumi!" One of the businessmen calls out. "He couldn't even bend down to pick up his keys! Who are you?"
They pause for dramatic effect before answering. "Strawberry," Their voice changes, going from gruff and low, to a higher pitched and feminine. They grab their face and rip it off, revealing it to be a rubber mask. With the mask, they tear off the suit, discarding the disguise. Standing there in place of the fake businessman is a tall, beautiful woman with short brown hair and green eyes. She's wearing tactical gear on top of a pair of cargo shorts and a tank top in the same vein as Lara Croft. "Agent Strawberry," she continues, pulling out a sawn-off shotgun from the now accessible holster. "That's ZOO Corporation property, and I'm going to need to relieve you of it."
The mercenary leader finds it amusing, unable to contain themself from laughing. "Well, my dear. You've certainly made an introduction, haven't ya?" They pocket something before slowly reaching behind them for their gun. "What would you say to maybe handing that there over? And then maybe we could do some business. Whatcha say?" Before they could pull their gun, the woman flings a throwing knife from her wrist at the gun, knocking it from their hand, and cutting them.
"No thank you. I already have a nice paying job. With benefits. I doubt you could match." The leader's hand heals from the cut.
They all get into a standoff of sorts. Strawberry is the one holding a gun, while also being the one with the goods. Two of the mercenaries charge for her, but at the slightest twitch, she opens fire, shooting both point-blank. However, instead of a shotgun's usual projectile, it fires two small devices that latch onto its targets. It opens up like a spider, and shocks the mercenaries, stunning them like a tazer before they collapse down on the floor.
Strawberry cocks her gun, releasing the fired capsules to reload. Unprompted, the remaining mercenaries jump her. The leader hangs back with the businessmen. Strawberry reloads the shotgun and fires off two more roads, but only hits one of the men. Using it as a club, she smacks back against the mercenary she missed.
She grabs the suitcase and uses both as tools to fight off the untouched mercs. Before they can surround her, their attention is pulled elsewhere, behind the bushes. Everyone turns and watches as a masked figure emerges from the trees riding a modified dirt bike. The black and gold vigilante drives their bike toward the group, getting between Strawberry and the mercs.
Kamen Rider King has entered the fight. Looking like a knight, King has a black undersuit with gold padding armour around the limbs and torso. His helmet is that of a lion with a stylized mane beside the back, and a pair of red buggy eyes. "Sorry, I'm late, Agent Strawberry. Traffic was a nightmare." He gets off his bike and stands before the shady men. The mercenaries are equally parts confused and intrigued, while the businessmen try to step away to make a retreat.
"I'm just happy you showed up. I don't know how long I would have lasted. That is before I had to put these boys down." The businessmen try to flee, something that King notices. "You've got the salarymen. I'll take the jocks." As fighting words, King springs into action, leaping over the mercenaries, he does a roll in the air and lands behind them. Catching them off guard, he makes quick work of the lackies. Already unarmed, King grabs one by the arm, and flings them out of the way, smacking into a tree. Another he just kicks in the chest, knocking them back a few feet.
Strawberry uses her surroundings to close the distance between her and the businessmen. First jumping off King's bike, then grabbing an overhanging branch. With her acrobatic abilities, she lands in front of the three suits. "Sorry boys, this is just business." She pulls out a taser rod from another holster on her person. They lunge for her, hoping to overpower her, but instead, one of them just lands on the end of the taser and gets stunned. She backhands another with it, before purposely hitting the third between the legs, taking them out in less time than needed.
She turns back to see the last of the grunts dealt with, leaving just the leader. "I hope you understand the situation you're in. Surrender now, and you'll have an easier time." King stands proud over the mercenaries as they roll around licking their injuries.
The leader scoffs, pulling his collar, he reveals a chocker-like band around his neck with a small button around the side. "I think it's time we test your merchandise, Kamen Rider." Pushing the button, the three remaining hostiles become injected with foreign cells, once that awaken abilities within them. Their veins flare up as their eyes become bloodshot. Cracking his knuckles, the leader pulls out a knife from his boot, "Bring it on."
They put up more of a fight with King. Matching him in speed, they throw their hands up, catching and dodging his attacks. He spreads the leg, trying to knock them down to the floor, but they jump, missing the kick. Using the knife, the leader slashes across King's chest. Sparks fly off him as he's hit several times, pushing him back into a tree.
"I'm starting to think ZOO's products are up to snuff. But I'll be taking them anyway." The merc leader goes to stab King, but he catches it in his hands. King's grip shattered the blade. The momentum carries the leader forward. King throws his head forward and head-butts him before lifting his knee to kick them in the gut.
Disoriented from the attack, King uses this chance to start railing on the leader with a barrage of punches. Each punch feels like he's hitting against solid brick. King jumps up and grabs a hanging branch. He kicks his legs out, and knocks the leader back, making them trip over a rock.
Falling onto the floor, a smartphone-like device falls from their pocket. A ZoPhone. King clocks it as it falls. "So that's what you're after." King puts his hand on his belt, the RiderLink system, with his own ZoPhone connected to it. "You wanted a taste of being a rider."
The leader grabs the dropped ZoPhone, only to find their skin changing colour. They can feel something in their veins. Like an allergic reaction to King's attacks, the leader's body is rejecting the new cells. Desperate, they put the power button on the ZoPhone. "Spider!" The screen lights up, showing a silhouette of a spider. They rip open their shirt to flash their chest. He forces the port of the ZoPhone into his chest. It digs itself into his body. Combined with the cells, he starts to morph, his skin turning purple as he grows extra eyes.
King just watches this all play out. Shaking his head in disappointment, he lets them get back on their feet. The leader's mouth splits open as he screeches, unable to speak. They charge at King, sprouting out spider legs from their back. They swing at King, but he's able to dodge the attacks full-on, receiving scrapes by the talons. Despite the change, the leader's attacks are slower and lack the efficiency of their previous swings. They throw a regular punch, which King just takes to the face.
He's knocked back but isn't as phased as he was before. "All of that, for a downgrade," King says, wiping the green good off his mask. He throws a punch of his own into the leader's chest. As if hitting the reset button, the legs collapse back into the leader's back. Again, their body reacts negatively to King's attack. "I'll make this quick. I promise." King touches his driver and pushes the ZoPhone back into it. A voice calls out "RoaringConnect!"
The gold on King's suit glows as a large transparent lion appears behind him. King's right leg burns bright as all of the energy is put into the foot. The lion roars, lifting King into the air and firing him like a bullet into the leader. "RoaringConnectionKick!"
The leader takes the attack and explodes on impact. Their body remains, however, at least for a short time. King stands behind them, holding the SpiderZoPhone in their hand, having taken it from the leader during the finisher. He watches the leader's body dissolve, leaving behind just their band. He picks it up off the floor, it's still smoking, and examines it. "This needs to be seen to. Agent Strawberry?"
Looking up, he finds Strawberry sitting on a tree trunk beside the knocked-out mercenaries and businessmen, having pulled them from the fight and tied them up. "My sister is on the way. She'll be able to take back the stolen ZoPhones." She opens up the case, revealing five slots meant for ZoPhones, with one of them empty. She takes out a ZoPhone, a green one. "It's good that we arrived when we did. We can't have this equipment fall into the wrong hands." She presses the power button, and the name it calls out is "Grasshopper!"
