I had this part done since August but well I was editing it. And well the anime for season 3 started. I got hooked on the anime. After the series finally, I was burned out. I had stuff and ideas but I just was not up for it. I was worried about the fandom and the 'what if's'. The only reason I can keep writing now is that people have been following my story or favoriting it for the last few weeks. So I'll continue for them. So thank you and Merry Christmas.
Mrs. Hikigaya's POV
"Hikigaya-san, are you alright?" Asked Akiba-san.
"I'm f-fine," I replied.
"That can't be true. Since you have several picture-frames on your desk of your son when he was a child." Said Akiba-san.
"Hachiman is my baby boy. I don't see a problem with that," I replied.
"Geez. You are acting like a mama bear," Said Akiba-san
"I'm a mother!" I replied.
"So what happened?" Akiba-san asked.

"She wants to take my baby away from me," I finally replied.
"Oh my, so he has a girlfriend," Akiba-san asked.
"Yes!" I cried out.
I pulled out my phone to show my boss that minx's photo.
"Oh! Is that Hachiman?" Asked Akiba-san.
"Yes that my baby boy," I replied.
"Well he looks so different," Said Akiba-san.
It was the eyes, right? Well, I thought it would not be a problem for his future. It might scare away those girls that just gold diggers.
"Well yes"
Why does she sound disappointed? I show her the next photo. It was him wearing glasses.
"Oh my, he does look handsome"
"Yes, he cleans up pretty nicely," I replied as the proud mother I am.
I show the next photo, that minx standing next to my Hachiman. Why? His eyes should have scared those girls. Only the best for my baby. So why her?
"Oh my! She's beautiful," Said Akiba-san.
"M-maybe she is," I replied.
I mean it is Hachiman. He is good looking if it was not for his eyes. And with a beautiful girl next to him stands out more.
"Oh, Is that not the youngest daughter of Yukinoshita?" Said a co-worker that was sneaking peeks over our shoulder.
"W-well yes, she mentions her father is part of the National Diet," I replied to my co-worker.
"Oh! How did he catch someone like that?" Asked Akiba-san.
"I'm not sure, Yukinoshita-kun was the one to confess to Hachiman. It seems like they have been dating since the end of March." I replied.
Yes, I also want to know how he caught a big fish like that.
"Wow! That's surprising," said my co-worker.
I show the next picture, a group picture of Hachiman and his friends.
"Oh my! He is in a field of flowers." Said Akiba-san.
Yes, I was surprised by that too.
"I'm not sure if it true since Komachi said it, but the majority of those girls actually at one point had a small crush on Hachiman," I replied.
"I can see that. Look at all those youngsters with rosy cheeks. Those are all maidens in love," said my co-worker.

I don't need to hear that. That doesn't make me happy at all. One minx was enough already, I don't need a group of them to try to take my baby away. Why God? Is this a joke to you, turning my son into one of those romcoms protagonists?
Yukino's POV
"Yukinoshita, I guess I have a date with Haruno,"
"Oh my, I didn't think you will have an affair already Hikigaya-kun," I replied as I pinch his arm.
"N-no, I. Remember what Haruno said. If we ever start to date, she and I should go out for tea," Said Hikigaya-kun as he rubs his arm.
"I see. I guess you do," I said.
"Oh! That reminds me I need to tell Komachi too," Said Hikigaya-kun.
"Y-you have not told her yet?" I asked.
"N-no, it been a stressful couple of months. Also, I think Komachi might know. With our current atmosphere," He replied.
It has been since March, I think we are past the point that they already label us as a couple. Wait! Since he going to be with nee-san then I should follow his lead.
"Then I should tell her since you'll talk to nee-san,"
"Why do I feel like you have a better deal," Said Hikigaya-kun.
I got up and bag my half-eaten lunch. I walked toward Komachi's classroom. I slide the door open. Everyone's eyes landed on me.
"Is Hikigaya Komachi here?" I asked.
"Ah! Yukino-senpai, what's up?" Asked a cute girl heading toward me.
"I have something to discuss with you. Why don't we finish our lunch together," I told her?
"Yes," Replied Komachi.
Komachi returned to her group of friends and started to pack up her lunch. As she does that I can hear the whisper filled the classroom. Most of the whisper was about how beautiful I am, how I'm the top student of the school, the wonders of I was into younger guys or girls or was taken or single. I'm sorry to inform you but I have a charming partner.
We decided to sit at the stairway. As the young girl eats, I notice that cute cluster of hair that she and Hikigaya-kun share. I believe Hikigaya-kun mention that it is called an ahoge, a type of trait found in manga and anime.
"Komachi, about your brother."
"Yes," She asked.
"Your brother has been busy and with previous events, he was not able to inform you at all. T-that is Hikigaya-kun is my partner." I told her.
The confused face of Komachi was cute but I guess I have to clarify. This the fastest way I know for her.
"In other words, you can call me Yukino-onee," I told her.
I think she understood now, "Yes Komachi, your brother and I are in a romantic relationship."
That memory of that cute girl crying because she was happy for us was fleeing. What I see now is of that cute girl pulling a woman toward us. A bringer of death. Hikigaya-kun and I were at a corner of the living room. The woman has the same Hikigaya's ahoge, dark rim glasses. This has to be their mother. I grab onto Hikigaya-kun's sleeve. I think I might have made it worst, after all, I saw their mother's eyebrow twitch. This made me even more nervous.
They arrived, and we just stood there. It was not out of disrespect or anything, it was just awkward. I know how to greet others but it was different now. Introducing yourself to a potential partner's parents was an experience I thought I gain. This is different. With the Hayama-san it was an introduction but it was more of a business deal, two families gaining more wealth and influence. But I fell in love with Hayama-san, he was perfect, he had a charming smile, he played and care for nee-san and me. He was my hero. A hero that hurt me. When I needed him the most, I was abanded by him.
Now my love is aimed at a hero, who claims to be a regular citizen. A regular man that was able to defeat my mother in wits even though she was not trying. Now this man is tied to my family even if he doesn't like it. In the end, my mother will push either nee-san or me into marrying him. She doesn't want to lose a competent man like him. Enough of that let's focus on what is in front of me because I can't escape into my thoughts.
"H-hello, I am Yukinoshita Yukino." I stuttered.
"Oi, what's wrong?" Interrupted Hikigaya-kun.
"H-here," Said a meek Hikigaya-san as she give Hikigaya-kun a shopping bag.
Ah! I know Hikigaya-kun's distance from his parents is not as close as with Komachi but they are Hikigayas. Hikigaya-kun is a siscon and Komachi is a bro-con. That means that their parents also have a child complex. Right now, I'm witnessing the Hikigaya-san's son-con tendency. The shy attitude, the light blush on her cheeks.
This trait of theirs doesn't help much. Especially when I tried to feed Hikigaya-kun some karaage that has some tomato hidden with it. His mother tried to feed him gyoza that she had taken a bite from. She was in panic mode. I would not mind the gyoza if it was not for it being garlic since kissing each other would be tricky to hide. Also if it was not bitten into already.
"Senpai~!" Cried out Isshiki-san, our sly kouhai who wraps her arm around Hikigaya-kun's arm.
"W-what do you want?" Asked Hikigaya-kun.
With a big grin, Isshiki-san asked, "So senpai, where did you take Yukino-senpai on your date?"
"W-we just had tea..."
"No, no. Lying is bad senpai," Interrupted Isshiki-san.
"W-what?" Replied Hikigaya-kun.
"Yukino-senpai once mention that cats mark their territory with their smell." Said Isshiki-san.
Well yes, the domestic cat belongs to the Felidae family. Those mystical animals have long tails that make up about one-third of the animal's total length. Studies are still conducted on the behavior of clawing to this day. The fact that they are nocturnal with those beautiful large eyes of theirs, the retina that has a layer called tapetum lucidum that reflects light and give it shine when lights hit the eyes. And that cute way of their tail wagging movement when they are nervous. And those cute pads on their feet.
Wait! Where is Kamakura-san? The Hikigaya's majestic cat. I started to scan the room for him...
Wait! What did Isskiki-san say?
I can feel the heat on my cheeks now. I'm certain many don't know about perfumes. They are a mixture of fragrant essential oils, fixatives, and solvents. Because of this structure, they break down in contact with light and heat. In other words, they give off their smell on certain parts of the body where it conducts heat and where clusters of blood vessels are located at. This means that to transfer one smell to another. We have to be approximately close to each other within millimeters or embracing.
"I-Isskiki-san gets your mind out of the gutter," I spoke up.
"G-gutter... Hachiman, you didn't." Said Hikigaya-san as tears started to run down her cheeks.
Before we can say a word, she ran out of the room.
"Wait! Mom, I didn't do anything," Called out Hikigaya-kun.
The room turns silent. The face of awestruck girls surrounding us. I also notice a man stand up and appear to chase after Hikigaya-san. Hikigaya-kun just places his hand on top of Isskik-san's head. Why are you giving her a head-pat?
"Isskiki, are you planning to get me arrested? Do you know what the Yukinoshitas going to do to me if I ever touch her?" Asked Hikiaya-kun.
I just ignore the rest of their antics since it just Isskik-san rejecting him for the nth time. My family would not hurt him if anything they would be happy. Mother is fond of Hikigaya-kun, father well he doesn't matter. He just going to be weird with his range of emotions, I'm sure Hikigaya-kun would be fine. Nee-san is interested in him and does call him brother-in-law so, he is safe from her. Maybe.
Well, the party was a success. Currently, we are cleaning up or should be rather than for some reason, there is an overweight youth in a trenchcoat cleaning. Did the Hikigaya hire a cleaning service? I feel like I saw him at the party though. I have the best seat in the house right now. I was sitting on Hikigaya-kun lap. His warm arms around my waist.
"Hikigaya-kun, how was the birthday party?" I asked him.
"Well compared to the last one. Where I received corn."
"They tasted sweet and was delicious." Interrupted Komachi-san.
"Well yes, but back to your question, Yukinoshita. I'm happy with it." Answered Hikigaya-kun.
"I see" I replied.
I was happy too.
"You guys are not going to make out in front of me? Right" Asked Komachi-san.
"We are not, Komachi" Replied Hikigaya-kun.
"Really? It just that you two had a weird atmosphere there and staring into each other. I was worried that I might be interrupting something." Said Komachi-san.
"I guess we have more days to celebrate our happiness." Said Hikigaya-kun.
"Indeed," I replied.
Our future is not set in stone, but our journey together is far from over. The happy time, the sad times, and everything between, Hikigaya and I are just here for the ride.
