Chapter 98: Stealth
It's not long before the container arrived and we drive our 3 jeeps inside, only for the door of the container to close and for the container to be lifted.
As we're being lifted right now, my mind wanders again like it does from time to time, I guess this is down to there being a lot of things to think about right now, due to the various things that matter and have happened recently. First there is Stealth and I find myself to be very curious as to how come he has arrived here at this point in time, I am guessing he'll have no idea what so ever as do I when I came here, in fact I still have no idea, but I do wonder if he'll gain memories of his past as he spends time here, like I did. I am confident however that he will have enjoyed seeing the wonderful technologies that Lastation has, and he'll be impressed by all the things he would have seen since arriving here.
But even though I know Stealth has agreed to join us in our noble cause, and though I do not remember him I know that he will be a very good fighter, what concerns me is that will I get to fight with him as my ally, being as how I will face my nightmares tonight? I mean will I find out the truth about what happened with regards Arfoire? In fact I do wonder that considering how I don't believe a single thing I've seen in those nightmares of mine about Noire and Blanc, and their collaborations with people who were villains from the series. Though it does make me wonder what did actually happen back then?
Furthermore just as we got in the container, they have mind talked to me and White to say that they have no idea on who the mysterious people who appeared as Arfoire and Ganache in our nightmares really were, and that's after speaking to all of the Planeptune refugees.
It is now I look to see Oichi, the ally we have rescued in our fight against Noh and Nobunaga, and it pleases me to know that we have saved her from her brother and evil sister in law, but even though she's alive despite all the odds, I am worried about whether the lady of Azai will not actually be the key to the nightmares, as all I have right now is just that Oichi represents the good side in her feud against the now deceased Noh, who's evil I'm pleased to have seen come to an end at last.
While I like to think she will and I hope that she will, I'm deeply worried that she may not be able to help, or in fact be the answer to the brainwashing. I fear that I will face more nightmares and perhaps face tougher challenges and what's more, that I will be brainwashed for good and yet all I have is Oichi to help me, who I look forward to finally speaking to about the nightmares I've had, my will power to not give in to it, as well as how I would like to continue to fight for Lastation for as long as possible.
But even if the situation looks bleak, I cannot give in as that will just satisfy the vile cruel Neptune, and that I do not want to do. No I need to keep fighting as I do get satisfaction in stopping her plans, and if I can continue to fight then at least there is hope, hope that we will eventually defeat her and free this world from her tyranny.
I suppose even though it's inevitable that I will face unpleasant nightmares tonight, I do have some slight curiosity as to what will be in the nightmares. But in any case I know that she will do her worst while I will do my best in them, as will my allies like we have done before, in fact since we've defeated our enemies both in our dreams and in times when we're awake, I'm sure that we will win again because that's what we do.
Even so I know I need a clear head and to try and make the most out of these wonderful moments we have, as because of these difficult times, these moments are rare indeed, but when they do come I always enjoy them. And so as we have risen in this container for a short while now, which suggests to me that we're nearly in the plane, I become excited about what we'll be having for tea and what will we be doing tonight for fun, but I know it will definitely be wonderful and I look forward to seeing the sun set in the Lastation capital city, as it's so great how it's a combination of two of my favourite things to look at: the Lastation skyscrapers, and the sunset.
But from looking at the sky while waiting for the container to arrive, though I notice the sun is setting, I don't think it will set for a while yet, and so my guess is that by the time we've done in loading the supplies to the plane, taking them to Lastation, unloading them and then coming back here to pick up some more, and repeating this process until all the supplies have been delivered, the sun will be ready to set, though until that time it's nice how we'll get views of various landscapes from those in Lastation consisting of lakes, forests, hills, jungles, beaches and the skyscrapers to those in Viridian Forest who's trees are nice to look at from above considering how dense it is.
Finally we arrive inside the plane and the container opens to reveal the interior of the large hanger and there I see Blanc, Uni, Rom, Ram and of course Stealth and Noire. Noire looks incredibly attractive as usual with her long shiny silky royal blue hair covering her back like a blanket, and her sexy black and blue plug suit which compliments her flawless goddess body very well, though she's also wearing aviator sunglasses as well as a large black cape, which goes to the feet of her high heeled thigh length boots.
She's standing there smiling like the rest of them, and it is then both herself and our younger sister rush towards me to give a hug which brings a huge smile to my face, while the CPU of Lowee and their younger twin sisters rush towards White and give her a hug. The goddess empress of Lastation then motions for Oichi to join in the hug, and the blue haired beauty then hugs me and the lady of Azai.
"Welcome back Black and welcome back everyone, it is such a pleasure to see you all safe in sound and in one piece, and it's also a pleasure to see you again Oichi. I'm ever so pleased to see you have survived after all of this time." Noire speaks to us sounding very pleased and ever so friendly.
"Yes it is relief to have been able to last this long, but I'm sure had it not been for the physics of this world, that dreaded witch Noh would have killed me as soon as possible, though she did make my life as hellish as possible. In fact had it not been for the assistance of the likes of Black, White and Zhen Ji, Cao Cao and Cai Wenji, I may never have been free from the clutches of my brother and vile sister in law. Thank you very much guys, you have saved my life." Oichi says in her native tongue sounding really grateful for being rescued.
I always enjoy Noire's hugs very much as it makes me feel ever so warm and she feels ever so soft and comfortable, and it's also ever so wonderful to see her again as it reminds me of how much I love her and what she represents, and it brings me so much excitement to see what we are going to do tonight together, after spending a fair amount of time fighting the Team Rocket grunts, and capturing Viridian Forest for Lastation and Lowee.
After a short while we then stop hugging and smiling at each other while we have our arms on each other's shoulders, and turn to see a man who I can only assume to be Stealth, the very person who has arrived today.
He's about my height and my age, and he's a slightly muscular Caucasian. He wears a sleeveless grey shirt with dark black shorts and a black belt with a black square tilted on its side. He also has black wristbands on each of his wrists and a couple of trainers with what looks like a tick on them, which are in black which match his socks. His eyes are grey and his mid length hair is black, the same shade as mine.
After looking at his appearance, I find it interesting how he looks like someone from Lastation, just as I did when I arrived with his colour scheme of black and grey and judging from his body language, although he hasn't been here before he does look excited and confident and he does feel certain about what he wishes to do right now, which is to help Lastation even if he may not know about his origins.
I think it would be interesting to see what has inspired him to fight for us despite not knowing much about us, or is that the case? Mind you I immediately agreed to fight for Lastation but then again the moment I saw Noire, I knew I have seen her before and right there and then I knew exactly why I needed to fight for Lastation, because Noire was my sister and I knew before we were fighting together against evil, and Neptune was on the side of evil, and my flashbacks in my dreams confirmed this. In any case I can tell how much he is enjoying this and enjoying our company, and he's clearly looking forward to seeing what this universe has to offer.
After seeing him standing there smiling, I then look to see a small group of soldiers disguised as Loweean troops operating a black high tech crane, which is a reasonable size but small enough to fit in the hanger. They use this crane to pick up the crates out of the jeeps and place them at the sides, and they're able to do so very quickly and efficiently. I guess it's safe to presume that after that they'll get in the jeeps and then into the container, where it will be placed onto the ground below.
After we see them get into the jeeps as soon as they've finished unloading the crates with the crane, while smiling at our satisfaction of getting the crates out of here despite all we have went through, Noire then gives me a very affectionate kiss before making an announcement to us.
"Well it looks like you have finally done it, the first of the crates are now in this plane and now thanks to your efforts, we will be able to take the rest of these crates away from Viridian Forest and into Lastation where there'll be in safe hands.
I would like to wish you all a big congratulations and thank you in your efforts in rescuing Oichi, as well as in liberating Viridian Forest, and of course in capturing these supplies so that Team Rocket will not be able to cause an official war between us and them, which will prove to be very disastrous. This is a significant step in our fight to take Lowee, which is a significant part of our plans to save this world from destruction, tyranny and chaos.
As you may know, our capture of Viridian Forest will mean that the route between Pewter City and Viridian City is now cut off, meaning that we have achieved a significant part in liberating Viridian City and Pallet Town, but even if we've achieved a large victory, we cannot relax just yet as even though you have managed to wipe out thousands if not tens of thousands of enemy Team Rocket grunts, there are still plenty more where that came from, and they are sure to try and take back Viridian Forest.
But we must not worry as we have planned and defeated them before, and we will plan again and defeat them again, this time achieving the next step in our noble goal, but before I show you with our talented Stanley Hargrove our plan, I wish for us all to have dinner as it must have been a long day fighting for our lives out there, and for what you have done in these days, you deserve to have the finest food you like possible, as well as to have a wonderful enjoyable evening tonight, for tomorrow we will be at work again, fighting for our lives and for the fate of Lowee.
You have done very well my friends, and together we will succeed because we only do everything and that includes winning battles and defeating our evil enemies, and we will defeat Neptune and bring her to justice!" Noire speaks with much passion and pride, believing in every word she says as we give her our applause after her speech.
"Yes you have my utmost gratitude with how well you have performed in Lowee these last few days. While every city in Kanto may not belong to us right now, we have Viridian Forest meaning we at last have a foothold that has been ours after much conflict. Furthermore I am pleased to see Oichi here after all of this time of her being a slave to Noh, who's subjected her to all sorts of horrific unimaginable cruelty to Pokémon and innocents alike, which is quite alarming considering her associations with Plutia who we hope to bring to justice soon.
I cannot begin to imagine what it must have been like for you to have witnessed all of that horror in Lowee, to see it fall into chaos and tyranny and not to be able to do a thing about it, that must have been torture and I only hope that we can fix this and make the people responsible pay for what they've done, for the people here and the Pokémon who have represented the best of Lowee.
You'll be pleased to hear that your Pokémon Wigglytuff, has been airlifted in this plane and she has been revived back to full health and is eager to see you. Furthermore we have news regarding your husband's whereabouts, and it will be covered in tonight's mission briefing. Hopefully you'll be seeing your Lord Nagamasa Azai tomorrow as well as your good friend Katsuie Shibate. But for now we would all like to welcome you back, as it's such a relief to see you in one piece and it brings me such joy to see that pathetic excuse of a woman Noh, finally get the death that she deserves, and I only hope that soon, one day we can do the same to that slut Plutia, and to that vile moron Neptune." Blanc says in her own speech speaking in a rather similar tone to Noire.
After hearing her speech we clap and cheer as well as chant their names before we all head for the dining room to eat dinner. Though I know the dinner will be very grand and delicious, and I know we'll have lots of fun eating and drinking, I cannot help but feel bad for those in Lowee who are struggling to survive, or even those in Planeptune who I'm pretty confident are starving and are lucky if they get little to eat, while no doubt Neptune and her cronies have the entire food supply of the nation at her table. It's ever so sad that Lastation has plenty of food and drink for both its citizens and refugees alike, who we treat so well, and not just the quantity of food and drink but the quality as well is just so amazing, and yet this is the opposite in Planeptune.
I just wish more people in the world can have access to our quality and quantity of food and drink, but at least if we continue to fight and if we can continue in making successful steps in our liberation of Lowee, then our prosperity can spread, but even then it makes me wonder how many more Loweeans are in Lowee right now, or whether the majority of the Loweeans live in Lastation and we've seen the last of the refugees with Blanc, after all I don't think we've seen any more new people lately to come to Lastation, the land of future proof technology and prosperity.
I suppose even if there aren't many people left alive in Lowee who isn't a member of Team Rocket, or anyone left in Planeptune who isn't brainwashed, then I'm certain Noire will try and find a way and will not give up, until she succeeds in reviving all of those fallen people who died under tyranny, and repair their bodies so that they are as they were before they died. That I believe will happen if we keep trying, and so I along with our friends head for our luxurious dinner to celebrate the progress we've made, as well as to show our hope that the world will get better soon.
It's not long at all before we reach the room where we are about to have dinner, and on the table I see plenty of food that looks appetising. The interesting thing is that although I notice how there are lots of food for us to eat, they're all different varieties of burgers, chips and milkshakes and sodas, the different varieties of the food are on each of our plates. It's as if they know what sort of meals we like, as I can tell from Stealth's body language, that he's very excited to be having a crispy bacon cheese burger, with hot potato shaped fries for dinner, and a nice ice cold pineapple soda to drink. He then remarks about how this is his favourite dish to eat in the whole world, and he's amazed with how the atom manipulators we have can make anything and everything.
I can also see the look on Oichi's face as well when she sees that she'll be having sushi burgers with noodles, sea weed and for side she has plenty of rice cakes and she's also happy to see that she's having grape soda to drink. I think it's fair to assume that she's pleased to finally have something she likes, as I can't begin to imagine what she must have been forced to eat, as although she appears to be reasonably well fed, I don't think she had anything decent to eat with Noh. I also notice that next to where Oichi's food is, is her Pokémon Wigglytuff, who is happy consuming soda, berries, honey as well as other fruit.
As I look at the rest of the dishes that we'll all be having, it does amaze me with regards the food in those burgers, as although I've seen them before, I've never seen them in burgers. They're so creative as I see what appears to be lasagne burgers, burgers with various meats in it like battered chicken, beef, pork, as well as plenty of chips and salad, there are also burgers that have buns in different colours, containing beef burgers with a large mushroom with melted cheese on it, and I couldn't help but notice how that type of burger impresses the female Lowee leaders the most.
There's even more different variety of burgers, there are turkey burgers with cranberry sauce on top, bacon burgers which consists of bacon sauce, bacon patty and plenty of bacon, there are a few burger stacks with a few different burgers inside, there are cinnamon roll burgers, doughnut burgers, burgers with cheese sandwiches as the cobs, burgers with nut spread on them, burgers with funnel cakes as the cob, burgers with spaghetti as the cobs and finally which is the burger I'm having, a large pizza burger in which it consists of a large beef burger, but there are two pizzas which acts as the cobs.
The toppings of these pizzas consist of sliced sausages, spicy chicken, small pieces of battered fish, bacon and tomatoes. The burgers come with various side orders varying from bread crumbed chicken pieces, chicken goujons, battered chicken breasts, chicken bites, onion rings to calamari rings, and there are various fries too including sweet potato fries, steak cut, thin fries, curly fries. There are even noodles, rice cakes and different rice as well.
All these burgers as well as the sides are incredible, and we're all amazed at the sight of all of these different ones, there's even novel burgers for desert as well, and these consist of burger cupcakes with cupcakes stacked to look like burgers, as well as ice cream burgers consisting of cones with meat on it and chips stuck inside it, though there are burgers with cookies as the cobs and ice cream and sauce as the filling, and I can't help but notice how Stealth is excited to see that there is chocolate ice cream.
The drinks are amazing as well as there are different sodas for us to try from ice cream sodas, to sodas of various fruits including tomato soda, banana soda and apple soda, there are even ones with chocolate and toffee and caramel.
I find it unbelievable how this is all possible thanks to the wonders of the atom manipulator, which is able to create any food and drink imaginable, have it taste like any food and drink imaginable, and give it the same health and benefit properties as any food and drink imaginable. This means we can eat burgers all day, every day and it would be healthy for us, and this is all thanks to the ability of manipulating the atoms with advanced knowledge, so it can create anything we desire. It's incredible and I'm proud of Noire for having this wonderful technology, which I hope everyone can benefit from when this terrible war and tyranny in the rest of the world is over.
We all applaud in amazement at the wonderful meal we're about to have, as we then sit down where our favourite food is and tuck in.
Not only does it look marvellous with the size of it, as well as how it's quite a spectacle to see, as I eat it slowly and enjoy every mouthful, I find myself believing this to be one of the best meals I've ever eaten, as it's just all of the wonderful flavours working together to make it incredibly delicious. I then drink my caramel ice cream and Pepsi drink and that tastes very nice, along with the chips and salad that I eat, it's all fantastic.
Yes it's fantastic to be eating Lastation food again, the best food I've ever eaten, in fact they've become my favourites and it is my dream that the food gets shared by everyone including those in Planeptune, who I hope we can liberate eventually from the tyranny of Neptune. I guess at least this technology is available to all the great citizens of Lastation, as well as the refugees from Lowee and Planeptune who contribute well to our society. It is then we begin talking about the food, as it is clear that we all enjoy this food very much.
"Wow, this food is incredible, unbelievable. This is definitely my favourite food this is amazing, I would love to eat this every day. In fact I wish I could eat this all day, every day. Thanks a lot for this delicious meal Noire." Stealth speaks in amazement as he eats his gourmet burger.
"You're very much welcome my friend, it's these machines that help make this food possible, and it's one of my favourite creations that Lastation has. I'm very proud of them and it's unbelievable the amount of positive reviews these things have had, and I've not had one negative review or any problems with these machines, and they've changed lives in Lastation for the better. I was even planning on installing these machines in vehicles so that people can eat this delicious food while travelling and on the go." Noire speaks with much gratitude for the compliment as well as pride in what she has.
"Oh yeah this is incredible food, the best food I've eaten in ages, it's an infinite to the power of infinite times better than the awful barely edible food that I had from Noh. It's also good to eat with my friends instead of my enemies for a change, and I hope to do this more often." Oichi adds speaking with much joy in her native tongue.
"I couldn't agree more, these mushroom burgers are so nice, and very Loweean. It reminded of me that wonderful plumber Mario who couldn't get enough of those mushroom burgers." Rom says in agreement after eating another bite of the burger, making me smile as I know Mario to be the famous plumber who was the mascot of Nintendo, he's a good person and it would be interesting to see if I meet him someday.
Ram, White and Blanc then nod and agree to what their sister says, only for Noire to answer them.
"Indeed it is really great to eat together, and I wish we could do it more often as you're such great people helping me out in trying to make the world a much better place. Speaking of which I wish more can be done to make that dream a reality, but at least we can be proud of the progress we have achieved so far, and we have confidence that it will happen." Noire replies while taking a drink out of her Pepsi with vanilla ice cream which she enjoys very much.
"Indeed. Just so I understand this correctly, this machine is capable of making any food, and any drink a person desires, purely from the manipulation of atoms?" Our new friend Stealth asks trying to understand this world, just as I once did.
"Yep, anything. In fact not just food and drink but different products, though any new item needs to be programmed first, but because of the time they've been out as well as developed beforehand, there are lots of things that the machine can make. The machine is also capable of turning waste into atoms, meaning we don't have any problems with waste at all." Noire nods while smiling, as she speaks more in her same wonderful attractive, kind voice.
"Amazing, just amazing. I can't wait until I'm able to have tried everything that the machine has to offer, the possibilities must be endless." Stealth says as he wonders about what other food he'd like to eat as soon as possible.
"I too am in awe of their food, as I always look forward to eating it as well as trying all of the different foods in existence. It will be a long time before we will have tried all of the possible foods we wish to try, and this is without the new foods that Lastation discovers and experiments with to make new foods.
When this conflict is over which I know we'll do our best in to make it happen sooner, I think much time can be spent on consuming and making new foods, as well as to ensure that the atom manipulators feed everyone in the world so that not only will they no longer go hungry ever again, but they'll eat the best quality and the most variety of food possible. I look forward to the day when that happens because it would be perfect if everyone in the world can prosper, and the luxuries and wonders of this world can be shared equally." I say with pride to my friends, with much hope for the future.
Everyone then claps at my speech and cheers in agreement, as we then talk about how delicious this food is and we have so much fun together eating this delicious food, making the most out of this moment while watching the wonderful views of the outside, showing clear blue skies with the sun lowering at a fair pace, as well as the change in scenery from the dense forests and jungles of Viridian Forest, to the massive beautiful hills, lakes, gardens, mansions and different beautiful houses that are large and offer different types of character, which resemble different themes and eras which I recognise from before coming here.
Of course we eventually get to my favourite view of the capital city of Lastation, full of numerous skyscrapers and billboards as well as lights which look really cool. I love this capital city because of how futuristic and optimistic it looks, as well as how sophisticated it is with its tall buildings, monorails, statues, fountains, not to mention how clean and healthy it is and how it's also wealthy and new.
This moment we make the most out of because we're all too aware that myself, White, Stealth and Oichi we'll be back into enemy territory again tomorrow, and though the meal lasted for a nice pleasant while as well as the conversations and views, it's time for our briefing, the briefing in which hopefully it will lead us to more success, and hopefully with each success we will get closer and closer to achieving our goal, which will be world peace and prosperity for all, and when we have helped everyone we can prosper, we can look back and enjoy ourselves with more moments such as this, but with more people enjoying them with us.
I look forward to this meeting as I'm excited to see what plans they have in motion, and I have full confidence that we will succeed considering what we have achieved so far and so not long afterwards, Colonel Hargrove enters the room though before he starts, he says a few things first.

"Good evening everyone, and I first of all would like to welcome Stealth on his first mission, and I appreciate how you wish to join our noble cause and I wish you and the team good luck on this assignment. Second of all, I would like to say that it is nice to see you again Oichi, and I'm pleased to see you safe and sound as well to say I have some good news for you, and finally I would like to say well done to you all involved in the Loweean campaign so far, as not only have you rescued Oichi, but you have managed to defeat Nobunaga and Noh, as well as not only in capturing Viridian Forest, but in preventing the supplies from being delivered to Viridian City, and this meant that they could not launch them and therefore provoke war.
The thing is we have learned that Team Rocket after failing to use the missiles against us, have attempted again to start an official war between us and them, and if they succeed it will prove disastrous…" He informs us only to then signal the projector to show a different screen.
The screen then shows what appears to be an image taken from the air of troops heading to a camp that I'm assuming is within the Loweean border, and I'm guessing it's fairly close to Lastation's border.
"…Intelligence indicates that they're trying to set up camp a short distance behind the Loweean border, and by tomorrow afternoon they intend to invade Lastation. The thing is, is that while Oichi's husband Nagamasa Azai along with her friend Katsuie Shibate will be at the camp tomorrow morning, they will be joined by a small group of famous faces who are quite deadly in combat as well, they are: Tokugawa, Tadakatsu, Ina, Magoichi, Mitsunari, Ginchiyo, Okuni, Ranmaru Mori, Koshihoso, Nene, Hideyoshi and Hisahide.
They all must be defeated at all costs, though while Nagamasa Azai and Katsuie aren't brainwashed anywhere near as the others, I'm afraid like with Oichi, it's a case of having to knock them out, providing them with the perk a colas, kill them and then revive them, but at least once that happens you will have them both on your side, and I'm sure that Oichi will be very pleased to see this." The colonel explains in his usual professional manner.
Though I sense from Oichi's reactions that she's pleased to hear of her husband and friend being safe, and their current locations finally being known to us after all of this time, I also sense her concern that rescuing them will be difficult, especially with how there's so many enemies to defeat, in contrast to the numbers that we'll be able to send in.
I understand completely and I'm keen to learn more from our colonel, though I couldn't help but notice how I'm quite familiar with a lot of the names he's mentioned and other than Nagamasa and Katsuie, they're all people I don't like very much, because of how some of them I remember them not doing very good things in their lands, especially Hideyoshi who I remember invading another land, as well as being responsible for Oichi's and Katsuie's demise. I mean Hishahide is a proud villain, and Hideyoshi isn't that far off, and I have a feeling the other two are as well.
Then there's Tokugawa an incompetent leader who brought ruin to his nation and caused it to decline during his generation, leaving it closed to other nations and was quite primitive for the time, there's Tadakatsu and Ina who served him, Ina being an unpleasant so and so who in Warriors Orochi was mean to Guo Jia, when he wished to have a female friend before his death that was quite close, there's also Mitsunari and Ginchiyo both of whom are arrogant, unpleasant and cynical reminding me of the wrongful portrayal of my CPU, my love Noire in the series, then there's Ranmaru Mori who was loyal to Nobunaga, and finally Okuni an annoying piece of work.
I do wonder what sort of things they've all done in this place, and what do they have to do with the bad things that has happened, and whether they blindly follow their leader, or do they follow by their own free will.
"You don't think that Team Rocket actually knows that Lastation is supporting the Loweean resistance unofficially do you, considering how it would make sense for us to do so considering the previous alliance we've had with Lowee?" I ask the Colonel.
"That is something we have been wondering, as although there's nothing to suggest that they know, they could suspect it purely from logic and assumption rather from any actual evidence, which they do not have. The thing is regarding officially is that although Lastation has been at peace with Lowee, more recently they've been at war though there has been no bloodshed from that war, and with Blanc officially leading the final assault after her landmass falling to the enemy, it would be fair to assume that officially Lastation has won that fake war, which Blanc was forced to declare because she was brainwashed.
I would have thought it would be safe to presume that since Lowee has a few remaining resistance members who were being mopped up by the Team Rocket grunts, and that Lastation was busy in its fight against Leanbox, that there'd be little point in going to Lowee right now as far as they're concerned.
In any case they have not declared war against us, although unless we stop this enemy attack on Lastation from happening, then they will." Hargrove responds to me calmly.
"I'm guessing that we have to be disguised as Team Rocket grunts and try to make it look like a few of their grunts have defected. Is there any particular way we can attack the enemy with the best chance of success?" I ask him as I am concerned about being outnumbered by a fair amount of enemies who have the same strength as us.
"Yes, it just so happens that while the enemy have set up camp right now, there aren't that many troops there and there's only Hideyoshi, Hisahide, Koshihoso and Nene with them right now. The problem is and as you said it's attacking them, but making it look like a few Team Rocket grunts have gone rogue and have teamed up with Oichi, in her quest to find her loved ones and punish those responsible for kidnapping them.
Although it is highly risky, the best chance we have is to wait by the route of the jeeps and trucks that are carrying the supplies to the camp, and as soon as we see Nagamasa and Katsuie in one of them, we ambush it to the best of our ability, capture them and then under the ruse of getting revenge, we can then go to the camp and defeat the enemy there.
Ideally I would have liked for us to have attacked the camp and ambush the enemy when they arrive at the camp, but if we do that they'd be suspicious as this is supposed to be top secret, and they'd know that we have found out by using our sophisticated surveillance, they cannot know we have this and so this assault has to be in disguise.
I know this is highly risky and this will be the hardest task ever, as we cannot even be sure what strength the convoy containing Nagamasa and Katsuie will be, and yet to keep up the ruse we can only afford to send in a few of you to do this, but it's all we have, I hope that you will succeed and I wish you all the luck in the world in doing this mission tomorrow." Hargrove says to us while briefing, aware of the risks and difficulties regarding this mission, but hopeful and confident that we can succeed.
"Thank you very much, I'm sure we'll do our best and if we're lucky and I like to think this will happen, they might just have the two drive in a jeep with no protection, which will be ideal and knowing the way that our enemies have treated you Oichi, they might just leave your friends without an escort, but we'll have to see and we still need to make it look like we're looking for your friends, and not like we knew they would be there the whole time." I say to them only for them to then nod in agreement.
"There is another matter which needs to be dealt with regarding Team Rocket, as although we have captured Viridian Forest and have thus cut off a supply route between Viridian City and the rest of the cities in Kanto, there is still one supply route which is a water route between Vermillion City and Pallet Town, and right now as we speak…" Hargrove briefs only to then signal the screen to show a different image.
This image shows a picture taken from above of 8 medium sized cruise ships docked at what I'm assuming to be Vermillion City harbour, which is full of piers and has a good number of buildings some distance away, there are also a good number of small patrol boats.
"There is a small fleet of 8 former medium sized cruise ships who are being stocked with 24000 troops, 1000 bosses, as well as plenty of supplies to keep the besieged area stocked for a decent amount of time to say the least. If they should reach Pallet Town then they'll have more than enough fire power to retake Viridian Forest, and they will be able to solidify their power, meaning that attacking the enemy like we have been doing will be impossible.
The convoy of supply ships must not reach Pallet Town at any cost, but while they won't set sail until tomorrow night and that they have a fair amount of distance to travel before arriving, unfortunately we have no means of dropping off troops to use to smuggle into the ships, in hopes of attacking the enemy before they can reach their destination. Like with the convoy heading for the camp who plans to invade Lastation, we need to make it look like there a good number of people have gone rogue, and since we cannot be seen to have sent troops from the sky, and yet it's the only means of sending in allied troops, our plan will be as follows:
You will be dropped off by plane fairly close to the funnel of the leading ship, where you'll need to carefully assassinate the enemies there, and then you'll need to make your way to the bridge and to steer the ship, such that it crashes into nearby land. Unlike the camp at the border, we'll be able to offer reinforcements of about 1000 allied troops, but the thing is it will take some time to airdrop them into different sections of the area of operations.
These allied troops will hijack the numerous boat patrols in the area, and hopefully we can split them into two groups, with one attempting to hijack the bridges of the cruise ships and to bring them to a standstill, while the others trying to prevent enemy patrol boats from assisting the cruise ships, as it's clear that the moment we attack they'll be certain to call for reinforcements.
It's just as well that intelligence has reported that every boat has a rope gun for the purpose of bringing assistance to cruise ships that get captured, or else I don't see how this can be done. I know this will be very tough, very chaotic and you'll be heavily outnumbered, but those supplies cannot reach Pallet Town or else our hard work at Viridian Forest will be for nothing.
I know you've not got one but two very difficult but important assignments tomorrow, but if there's anyone who can do this it's you guys, good luck everyone and goddess speed, I am certain you'll do your absolute best." Hargrove speaks to us in a professional manner.
"We do indeed although at least if both of these assignments can be done then we'll have stopped their counter offensives, and hopefully we can come up with a strategy to finally retake a couple of cities in Kanto. Thanks a lot for the briefing, and even though the odds are indeed against us, I do believe we have the best strategies in place meaning we have the highest possible chance in succeeding and I believe we will. Thanks a lot for the briefing, I am confident that it will lead us all to victory." I say to them.
We all agree, only for us then to leave and to go and have some fun together. I must admit having two difficult missions at once concerns me quite a lot, and yet something tells me that there might even be a third mission to do tomorrow, but then again this is assuming I can survive tonight's nightmares, and find out the truth about the incident regarding Arfoire. I hope I can because I do feel that these missions rest on our performance, and if we end up getting brainwashed, then we'll become the very enemies that we wish to destroy.
I guess rather than just be concerned, I should make the most out of the small time I have left right now, before we face battle again and perhaps see if Oichi can cure my brainwashing. I hope so because it would be sad if we fall now and if my new mate Stealth's time here has ended before it has even begun. I just cannot bear the thought of it, I really can't. I just hope we can succeed because it would be nice when we can finally see our hard work pay off, but like with all things I guess it's a matter of waiting and seeing regarding this, though for now I should do what I can to relax and prepare for the tough day tomorrow, as well as the tough night tonight.
