The Console Wars

The CPUs are at each other's throats, but not in Celestia but in Gameinudstri. This is not done from Neptune's perspective or any CPU for that matter. A male arrives in Gamindsutri who appears to be from somewhere else. All is not as it seems as this is not from the Neptunia universe but a general gaming universe. This is a fanfic unlike any other. Rated M for violence.

147. First Day in Parliament

Chapter 147: First day in parliament

I become conscious again, an indication that I've survived, or not considering it's hard to know for sure what happens when one dies. I look around to see myself in a different place just as I figured I would be.

I'm in what must be parliament itself, more specifically the large room where members would debate to each other. The thing is while I do recognise the interior and it resembles something I remember seeing before, even though I couldn't say which parliament it's meant to be, I don't believe it to be the interior of the main chamber of the Britannian parliament.

I'm sat on a purple leather chair which isn't particularly comfortable at all, by a large incredibly long curved purple desk with enough room for a dozen people, and sat next to me is Noire and Uni, and nearby are people wearing Lastation clothes. This room is full of these chairs and desks in the same colour, in which there's rows of them and they're arranged in a circular shape, albeit there's gaps to allow people easy access to and away from them. In fact it forms most of a circle, with the side opposite having a long curved desk with chairs behind them just like where I'm sat, and behind that, are two smaller rows of these long desks and chairs with a gap in the middle to allow people to leave and access it easily.

I realise that this room is split into sections with each section representing a nation of Gameindustri, with ourselves being in the Lastation one, and there are others including Planeptune, Lowee and Leanbox and what must be Eden and Tari which I find curious considering I have no idea if they exist at all, let alone ever existed in Gameindustri, but this is her nightmare after all. There is also another who I don't recognise, in fact they appear to be blurry, almost as if censored out but I have no idea why?

I notice at the desk opposite by the wall are the flags of the nations of Gameindustri, but on the wall is a massive Planeptune flag. This is Neptune's parliament all right. To hammer this point home even further, I notice at the desk opposite are people who are supposed to be in charge and they are our enemies from this badly run nation including Plutia, Anonydeath, Nisa, IF, Compa, Neptune, Nepgear, Peashy and Histoire the oracle of Planeptune. In fact I notice Histoire to be sat at such a position by that desk, as if to say she's a big player in all this, rather than being someone reluctant like I thought Nepgear was. Along with this I notice how they're all in purple suits in a pathetic attempt to look the part.

That is something I as have the rest of us have wondered, is Histoire a genuine enemy, or a reluctant one, and wishes to defect if given the chance? Perhaps she could be the key to ending this nightmare, though it's hard to see how considering how the session will begin soon, and this should surely be a big indication that we've lost, and yet we haven't. Maybe we've done enough before and this is the next bit.

More likely though this is a mere formality of Neptune's to show she's triumphed over us, and after boasting about this fact and the session is over, we'll be executed in a place where we'll have enemies to the front, the back and the sides. We need to survive this, and then take them all down as quickly as possible.

But how to do this, especially as we have no weapons unlike them no doubt, and there's a limited time to get them if it is at all possible to get them, as this charade will begin in a few minutes.

Worse still, is that I and Noire are forbidden from leaving the chamber to attempt to get weapons, and so it just leaves us to get the members representing Lastation who can leave to go get them.

The thing is, there are of plenty of concerns running through our heads right now, as to whether they can get them, whether they'll be able to return, and even are the members with us on our side, or really Neptune's goons put there to ambush us since it's her nightmare. Though it is most unfortunate that nothing can be done to allay those concerns, and we can only deal with those problems when they arise.

I quickly realise though that this is the point, we go through all that carnage, just to be put in here, our potential doom to try and break us. That we had a small amount of hope and it lead to us getting so close to parliament but then end up here. We're surrounded by despair, us being in parliament that's controlled by that nasty Neptune, and everything says it: The colour scheme, the flag, who's sat there at the desk that screams control, and there'll be more to come. All of it to try and break us down, that all is lost, that we'll die surrounded by the enemy, that we'll die with the last thing we see being her parliament, the last thing we hear being their speeches, and the last thing we know being her policies and maybe seeing footage of it in action.

I suppose we have a small amount of hope now, but with the time remaining, there's no way we can know for sure if they'll have brought back enough weapons, would we even notice our guys returning? I doubt it, but I realise that while there is the doom that is upon us, that contrasts with last time with this being more mental and psychological, as I've yet to see a single weapon or even a guard despite there no doubt being nearby, we must always be defiant to the end in the hope that at least we can give them grief in that we've gone down fighting, even if it's with mere words. We will not have given them the satisfaction of despair or of begging for our lives. Plus which there is nothing to suggest we have lost just yet despite our predicament, so we will have to wait for the right moment to strike, and perhaps we'll be able to get out of this nightmare with victory just yet.

"May I have your attention? The Neptunia parliament has now begun, and as the former Oracle of Planeptune who is now the Oracle of Gameindustri, in which the true goddess of this land is Neptune Purple Heart, and the main character living in this place is now Neptune, just like in our wonderful series, I would like to begin this session with our glorious anthem: The Planeptune theme from the game that kicked off this wonderful series, and this will be played by a live band." Histoire announces in her distinctive voice.

I couldn't care less what they call themselves considering this is their nightmare, though if this was to be real, I'd know that they'd have no legitimacy. Interesting considering that parliaments are supposed to be democratic, and yet clearly this isn't, who would vote for these morons to be in charge when they don't do anything for their people?

We notice that every group including Lowee stands up except for us, which I can understand since this is Neptune's nightmare, though seeing them makes me wonder that since Neptune knows about Blanc being with us after the nightmares we had together, do our other enemies know, and that our plans of tricking our enemies into thinking the Loweean CPUs are dead by our hand hasn't worked? It is odd how the attacks we experience when awake haven't appeared to have gotten more difficult, especially as how Neptune's attempt to get us in our sleep repeatedly fails. Then again is this intentional for only Neptune and her cronies to know, and not our other enemies considering the minimal difference it makes as Lowee has fallen, and only a relatively small number of refugees in Lastation remain?

From her perspective she could just torment us all together, and keep challenging us with seemingly impossible nightmares and torment us that Lowee has fallen, our previous world has fallen, and that Lastation is all that's left, and it doesn't look like our remaining nation can triumph against the odds. With this revelation it makes me wonder if we've shouldn't have bothered fooling any of our enemies, but if we didn't gain much, and nothing seems to have happened as a result of this deception, what difference does it make? Besides what choice did we have considering our need in rescuing the Loweean CPUs if Lowee is to return to its former glory in future? It's hard to know how many of our enemies know about the nightmares we have and how they work, it all depends on whether they coordinate against us, or if they don't and Neptune has something else bad in mind?

There is a lot of odd stuff going on to say the least, but nothing can be done about that right now, and all we can do for now is to endure this horrible music and showing defiance to it.

I hate this music so much, not just because it's Planeptune's theme but it's because it tries to portray the nation as though it's good, advanced and happy despite the fact that how can it be? How can it be any of these things when the CPUs there do absolutely nothing for their nations? As we're forced to listen to this rubbish, this nails on the chalk board of what they call music, it reminds me of the theme of Lastation from that same awful game, where the music of that made Lastation sound antagonistic, up to no good, dirty and dark, which again how can that be the case, considering that Noire worked a lot? Then again it's the series for us.

In response to this nonsense we show defiance whether it's calmly putting something over our ears so that we can't hear it, seeing if we can listen to something else that sounds better, or going to sleep hoping that we can't hear the music while we sleep for a few minutes or however long they wish to play this racket. At least this buys us time to think, to think what to say to get under their skin or a strategy to take down these frauds, these vile villains who would dare cause such destruction to our nations.

Predictably, someone comes up to us, telling us that we need to stand to the anthem and hum it's tune, otherwise we'll pay a severe penalty, though considering what they're doing already what are they going to do that they wouldn't have done anyway?

We choose to stand up but we then show our backs to them, no doubt angering them though they'll try not to show any emotion. Perhaps they're loving the music being played of their own nation, and how they've won, enjoying the humiliation they inflicted on us, but it won't be long hopefully. I say this especially as I can see my Lastation allies coming back to us showing disgust at the music. Annoyingly, there's no way of getting any weapons that they've acquired off them if they've managed to do so yet, but hopefully we'll get a chance to do so soon.

Though it felt like this horrible piece of music has gone on for a long time, driving us nuts, it's finally finished, and predictably everyone except for the Lastation group, applaud the music with much enthusiasm, before we then all sit down and be forced to listen to their droning.

"Thank you all for the applause, I'm glad you all enjoyed it. It's a pity Lastation didn't enjoy it but I know that Plutia can provide the appropriate discipline, and ensure you'll love it with the same enthusiasm as the other groups here." Histoire says in her usual tone but with a hint of menace.

Yeah that's a good thing to say, really shows legitimacy having a go at the opposition like that which your parliament needs ever so badly, considering the nonsense you've spew out and will spew out. Also did Histoire just imply that they torture political opponents for such displeasure as showing no enthusiasm to a piece of music?

"And now with that out of the way, I wish to say that as the Oracle of Gameindustri, I thank you for the position that I have now, and I will use this position to the greatest extent I can. I will also be involved in the continuing development of projects for our series, so that people can see the true goddess in action in her true position, the main character. Finally I will run this parliament chamber as I see fit, and ensure that no one breaks any rules that this house provides for you all. You've all been chosen to be here so I expect you all to behave." The Oracle drones in the same tone.

Oh she couldn't scream villainy if she tried. For starters she doesn't seem to understand about responsibility with regards having such highly significant positions as that, which I imagine is being their equivalent of a speaker and to ensure calm, and that both sides get heard and are respectful to each other. Then there are the games in which they're a complete waste of time, and finally the patronising is she aware of how old we are?

The thing is while I find myself disgusted by what she says and look forward to giving them a speech that explains why they suck for a life time, I find myself thinking about more things to do with her. I say this as though I increasingly see her in the same way as I see Nepgear, it would be nice to confront her properly to see for sure where her loyalty lies, even if it's a nightmare just for curiosity sake, even though what difference that would make. I suppose it's from what I remember of her, her trying to steer Neptune straight despite it not working, while supposedly being the best oracle.

She ends her speech after what feels like a long time which I'm sure is the point of it, only for everyone except our group to applaud with much enthusiasm. Next is the Planeptune CPEwwwwww, Neptune and no doubt her speech will just be as awful to listen to, and makes the applause she is getting now by everyone but our group sound like music to our ears.

"This is sooo super-duper awesome sauce, to be in my well-deserved position of true goddess and the main character, as I should always be these things wherever I go. It's also nicey dicey to see most of the guys here applaud us and support us, it's always nice to have friends and fans who see me as the strongest since I am the strongest, to appreciate the work I do which is to defeat the evil bosses which excite me very much.

It is most boo boo that Lastation doesn't share your enthusiasm for us, but since it's led by tsunderes and meanies I'm not surprised. They'll be dealt with appropriately of course and get what's coming to them for their lack of respect.

As the true goddess of Gameindustri and the main character, I intend to go out and find any bad boss I can find and kick their but, with my strength and my power as a well-loved main character, who'll always triumph in the end. No evil villain will be safe with me around, and you can count on me that they'll be sorry dory for their very existence.

Because defeating bad guys can be super-duper exhausting and make me very very hungry, I'll need to spend the remaining time playing video games, eating lots of yummy food especially pudding, and taking naps, for it's those things that help me to win. Yay.

Since I know how much you all love me as the true goddess and main character, as true goddess I wish to enact policies so that you can live just like I do. I desire for policies to be enacted so that it's illegal for anyone to make a living, and for you all to eat exactly the same amount, the same type of food, and at the same time I do. I also wish for all the money to come from our enemies which will hopefully encourage them to become friends, and to see me for the truly strongest CPU that I really am. Not only that I also wish for those places to house all the villains and criminals, so that they'll eventually learn why it's important for me to exist and to live as I do.

Along with this I, want the histories of the nations to be rewritten so that instead of it being about them, I want it to be about me, my birth nation and my friends for we defeat the villains that come to Gameindustri. There is to be no statues of anyone except for me and my best best buddies, no names from famous people apart from me and my awesome birdies, no media about anyone except for me and my friends. I also want people to wear the same clothes we do, to have their buildings to be the same colour as the colour scheme that we have, as well as for the only flags to be flown and the only anthems to be sung to be ours. That way the people there can learn about why I am so very truly great.

As well as this, I demand for those that are models to have surgery so that they are no longer models so that they are no longer required, unless I approve of you, and even then there is to be strict regulations regarding your entire looks. Those that refuse will not only have it done regardless, but will be punished severely. As I am to be the one to defeat villains and need to be able to defeat them, I cannot be distracted by any potential people who are better looking than me, for they can have more attention and more fame, and that is something I cannot bear to have. As your main character and true goddess no one can challenge me, and no one can be smarter than me, which is why those with knowledge are to do all they can to forget that knowledge, those who don't do enough will be punished severely as well.

As main character, I demand that on behalf of my friend and talented medic Compa that you will all with much enthusiasm, be involved in any medical test/procedure or experiment that she puts forward for I need medicine in case I get injured in boss fights, or if I need special abilities to take them down. Meanwhile on behalf of my friend Plutia, who specialises in getting people to do what is needed, I will need you all to be involved in any experiment that she does to help her perfect her skills, as sometimes I need villains to talk to be able to defeat them. In fact I know she needs to do lots and lots of experiments even those just for fun, as she needs to have her desires and fulfilments to be met, and I'm sure you can appreciate that and will oblige with great enthusiasm.

As for my friend Gust, she is running a business and this involves experimentation with items that perform different things, different things that help me in the quests that I do to get better weapons so I can take down villains easier, and so it's important that all of you buy her products so that I can defeat the baddies that try to harm Gameindustri. Then there is Peashy, who likes to have fun and is a friend I have much in common with, and I enjoy spending time with her, and this helps me to recharge my awesome sauce batteries which get used up defeating villains, and so to help in this regard you are all to design toys, games, anything that she and myself enjoy so that with myself being refreshed regularly, I can perform my role as main character and true goddess of Gameindustri. Yay.

For Annonydeath who loves Noire ever so much and would make a great husband for her, and would make Noire a better person, I demand that Noire dumps Black, does not see him ever again and for her to marry Annonydeath instead and to agree to do everything he says and not to resist in any way for her own protection.

I would like to add that Nisa is a passionate lady who's against injustice, and so she'll be our main enforcer of those rules, and it's important that to help the running of Gameindustri you are to report any of the crimes I've listed that occur, as it's important that the rules I have are respected so that I am able to perform my role to the best of my ability as CPUUUU. The superheroine will also need recruits so she can practice taking out criminals, as well as her trying new techniques to find and catch criminals…" Neptune drones on and on in her usual cheery annoying voice.

Her voice is sure annoying and it's ever so awful to listen to it, but what's worse is what she is saying. It's complete and utter insanity, while this is a nightmare and this is done to try and break our wills, who can genuinely support this? If no one worked there would be no money, no services would be provided, and no products can be made, and as a result, there'd be nothing to pay for what the people would need to survive and prosper. Hell Neptune herself makes a big thing about how big of an eater she is, who would pay for that food, or for the energy needed to power heating, lighting and the electricity to power her gaming? Does she not understand the responsibility of her role? What about running the country, ensuring policies are implemented and that any problems that come get taken care of? What about addressing concerns especially as people will be starving and have nothing, and won't be able to buy Gust's products in which no doubt they'll be of bad quality, especially as there's no incentive for her to improve them?

What about giving Plutia, Nisa and Compa having free reigns to do what they wish to the people in which no doubt none of it will be necessary? How is it going to help the people, who'll be tortured in unimaginable horrific ways with impunity, to be experimented on, and suffer horrible side effects and to be treated like criminals and no doubt be crippled? How is it helping Nisa to do what's supposedly needed? It won't, in fact they're not interested in murderers, thieves or rapists etc., they're only interested in crimes against Neptune and her ego in that she cannot bear alternative nations or ideas or values. What happened to body autonomy where people have a right to determine what goes into their bodies, which helps forces anyone in the medicine business to produce medicine that are necessary and of benefit? It ensures no one is at the risk of harm that they didn't consent to; especially considering who knows what would be in Compa's so called medicines. Then there are all the victims of Plutia's in which she'll be able to torture to her heart's content with impunity and for no benefit to anyone but her selfish desires. Not to mention the things Anonydeath will do to Noire, perhaps he'll work with Plutia to make Noire's life a living nightmare, turning her to a slave in different ways, abusing her in different ways as well in which there's no way out.

Neptune says it's for helping her to defeat villains that threaten Gameindustri, no doubt fictional monsters that wish to destroy the world led by a powerful villain that requires super powers to stop, but what villains has she even defeated? The only ones she has defeated are in her stupid games to make her look heroic without lifting a finger. She just wants the glory to be powerful and worshipped without a care for its people, to be a warrior ruler but not do any leading which is important since why should we cheer for her victory? Why should we desire her to rule Gameindustri and defeat bosses that threaten destruction, when she does nothing to make the world prosperous and does the complete opposite? It's all pretence to legitimise her rule, the only thing she can be bothered to do that's considered productive to civilization, and yet it never truly existed.

I know that as I repeatedly say this is part of the nightmare that I'm in, to gloat how she's won and how bad it would be for all of us, and at least for now it's only a reality in Planeptune and not the entire world of Gameindustri, or where we came from, that is assuming she has no control of that place what so ever, and how it won't be long before we get killed and perhaps see the devastation unfold everywhere, yet I feel rage inside me.

It reminds me of how she always intended death and destruction for every place she knows exists, for no reason other than her own selfish ego, so that she can get respect without putting in the effort to earn it. It's why we fought so that people wouldn't suffer through such tyranny and get nothing in return, and instead can make their own wealth, keep it, spend it how they wish, to be safe and protected, and to live freely, to be able to compete, to improve, to challenge, and in return they give money to Noire despite her seemingly infinite wealth as charity. They see her perform, entertain, and buy her merchandise, her cosplay photoshoots and videos as well as fight for her and work for her.

As much as I wished to scream with much rage about how wrong she is, and debunk her and show defiance as well as show her up for the fraud she truly is, only for us to if possible kill them, we'll have to bide our time as we wait for our turn to speak. We cannot show anger towards her, for that's what she wants to provoke us, to scare us into dreading the consequences of her victory, to defeat and humiliate a broken, angry opposing side. For one thing despite the parliament that we're in, and her supposedly being the true goddess and main character, the nightmare I'm in doesn't say she's won yet, and there is the possibility however slim of us having weapons and us being able to assassinate the lot of them, before fighting our way out and finally being able to leave this nightmare for good.

Furthermore, if I can think of what to say and calmly make fun of her and show her up for who she really is, it'll be her that gets angry knowing that even in victory, I won't give her the satisfaction of being bothered, grieving in supposed defeat. At least I've got what feels like a long time to think of what to say and what exactly to do next when it all kicks off, after how long I found the speeches already to be from the Planeptune leaders, and now there'll be the speakers representing each group in this parliament, which represents each nation that would no doubt be abolished under Neptune, and they'll all be kissing the ass of that rotten CPEwwwww, saying how great is that they're in charge, and look forward to her defeating non-existent villains that supposedly threatens us all.

It's depressing and pathetic how it's worse than I thought, as not only do they praise those nasty morons from Planeptune to the rooftops, but along with their predictable contempt they have for us, for not showing any enthusiasm to the awful representatives of Planeptune, they offer suggestions that will help the Planeptune jokes out, such as coming up with new foods for them to try, offering to serve in their government, as well as creating weapons for them, all the while throwing their own people under the bus. These speeches are both seemingly endless and annoying.

I have absolutely no doubt that this is more of their dreadful attempts to break us down physiologically, with having everyone be against us, and contrast how it used to be in the previous world we came from where it was us, the Loweean CPUs and Vert and her allies, taking on Neptune and company, and defeating them countless upon countless times. It won't break us down though, even if it is annoying and awful, if anything it makes us more determined to defeat our enemies here once and for all when we get the chance. Not even the speaker that is supposed to represent Lowee bothers us, considering how Neptune has effectively annexed it, along with this being a nightmare. If anything it brings me joy inside that it will be my turn to speak, to speak the truth and with passion. They may represent the majority in the nightmare but they don't represent the majority in reality.

Eventually, and it couldn't come soon enough, it's my turn but Histoire as part of her role has to say a few words first.

"And now last and most certainly least we will hear on behalf of the corrupt, nasty, rotten, polluted and smelly Lastation Lord Black Lead." The Planeptune fairy says even her voice showing contempt.

I stand up and chuckle a bit trying to unnerve them that I'm not afraid, and torment them with the fact that I have no fear regarding this situation.

"Well hello there representatives of Planeptune, and a hello to Neptune, True goddess and main character my oh my. I know you desire for me like the rest of them to congratulate, to praise you for your new position, but considering we both know this is a result of your silly nightmare and your fantasy being a reality, there doesn't seem to be much point does it. Considering your track record and personality, I don't see how objectively anyone can select you for that position, and I'm sure we can all agree on this if we're to look at it fairly. Especially considering how this nightmare was about you becoming ruler of Britannia through a very violent coup…" I say this with wit and joy trying to unnerve them and I get chuckles from the members in my group.

I can see the purple haired witch having a stern look towards me but trying not to show any more anger, I can imagine her thoughts telling her to calm down.

"Once it's been made clear that you would be true goddess, I've been wondering all this time. I've been thinking what sort of true goddess Neptune are we going to get? Are we going to get a dignified, caring true goddess, who will protect the innocent and look after their needs, and will put herself above her biases regarding any arguments and disputes between leaders of different nations?

Someone who will treat everyone regardless of nationality etc. with respect and will be respected in turn and admired, adored and be remembered for all time. And since in your spare time you wish to make video games featuring famous people representing consoles, with you as main character will they feature the characters representing the consoles being portrayed positively and equally, and giving each one a chance to shine and prosper?

Or are we going to get the Neptune Purple Heart that we got to know ever since we've encountered you, and has the same attitude in the games which try to make you look good, you know the one I mean. Annoying, unpleasant, lazy, trying to make others look bad be it incompetence, or being a villain, humiliating, defeating even having them killed off at one point, and being repeatedly the victims of sadism by your best mate Plutia. Intolerant of people with alternative perspectives, and apparently has grudges over what happened in the console wars, who doesn't care about the innocent, happy to throw them under the bus for your dream of being at the top, purely defeating bosses, eating and playing games 24/7. Someone who is anti Lastation, anti Britannian to the very core hence the treatment of it, hates our ideology, everything we stand for, and has Noire the CPU of Lastation fall flat on her face frequently in different ways, I was wondering which Neptune would we get…" I say in the same tone.

It's at this point that the purple haired witch displays the same body language, of looking annoyed but trying not to show it. This time she has her left thumb and knuckle of her left finger closest to her left thumb on her chin.

"Well your opening speech, has helped a fair amount to settle this question for me, and it's pretty clear that we're going to get for who knows how long of political destruction, suicide and stupidity from the new rulers. And I have to say, I cannot think of anyone at all, anyone at all who would want to have such insane leaders with insane destructive policies because of pathetic grudges as a result of competition. I can't think of anyone whose policies would cause as much destruction as yours would, and yet this is what we've got.

I know that thanks to your stupid nightmare, we represent the smallest group in this parliament, but I can tell you if people thought freely, no one would be supporting your moronic policies that would cause untold damage to us all. It's only in your games where there is some love from some fans but even then that's declining especially with it being about 50/50 during the time of the relatively early HDN Victory, as to whether fans consider Plutia to be a good person or a bad person and that's only in that game, and it's funny how you don't display her in too many subsequent games is it, your games are being bought less and less frequently over time going down from over 400,000 in your first game which is no doubt due to hype of what it's about, to about 10,000, with having games only available in certain regions and in certain languages. Worse than that, you even have games that few people have played, with Neptunia shooter having less than 100 at the beginning playing it on the PC, and now where there many days where no one plays it at all. Maybe you should stop making those crappy games since fewer and fewer people play them, and have someone else be MC like Noire since that game was one of the highest sold you had, in which you could do a series about, and also step down and let someone with more experience, care and sense take over for everyone's sake.

What we represent is not anti-consoles, anti-having fun or anti-nation or its people, that is not what it's about. We believe in different consoles, and seeing the consoles represented as nations as people with its own culture, technology, architecture, heritage, music and landscapes and lifestyles. We want a Gameindustri of cooperation, of trade, of friendly competition, of sharing ideas and values. We want a Gameindustri that is fun, prosperous, free and fair and responsible. We don't want a Gameindustri that's run by someone who doesn't believe in other nations, we don't want Gameindustri run by you lot with your insane ideologies, and pitiful policies and gross grudges that will cause devastating destruction, despair and absolute hell. And we will do our very best to provide opposition to your plans, and you will give us a fair hearing, and you will be stopped.

Now as for your oracle, I was hoping that for this role we would see a real significant figure for the population of Gameindustri, the one that would represent all of us for in case we come across other universes, the one who's job was so important, you'd be the highest paid of all of us ever, the one who can show how awesome the concept of consoles being represented by nations and people really is, the one who has a presence and can be taken seriously, and deal with things quickly. Well it's such a tragic shame that what we've got is you. And I hate to say it but after the performance that you gave, and I don't want to be unpleasant, but, but you know really. You have the charisma of a dried leaf and the appearance of a level 1 fairy…" I speak with passion.

It's only now that they begin to boo and shake their heads in horror at what I've said.

"And the question that I'm going to ask that we're all going to ask is. Who are you to think that you should be in this role? You're supposed to make sure Neptune does her jobs, but you don't enforce it and the amount of times she gets away with being lazy, do you even get her to run her nation properly? And you're supposed to know all about history but why does it take 3 days to find out anything, why not just create backups of what you know spread it around and program it so things can be easily searched? That would be a lot quicker than 3 days. I've never heard you make the case, nobody in Gameindustri have heard you make the case. I would like to ask you oracle, who voted for you, and what mechanism? Oh I know democracy and fair representation isn't popular with you lot, and what mechanism do the people of Gameindustri have to remove you all, is this democracy in Gameindustri?" I continue on.

It is then that Neptune tries to cut me off but she fails and I keep going.

"I sense, I sense though that is deliberate that you are in this position precisely because you won't act on it, you are actually competent and capable and dangerous. And I have no doubt that all this is your intention to deliberately let Neptune do what she wants, or even assist her in this as she is from the same nation as you, and that ultimately it'll be the silent assassination of democracy and representation in Gameindustri, and the conquest of all the nations just like in the stupid conquest ending in mk2. You lot appear to have a loathing for the concept of the existence of consoles as nation states, perhaps that's due to being from Planeptune, which of cause do not make consoles anymore with some CPUs representing consoles that were never even released. I'd even call it a non-nation since it's effectively run by no one who serves the interests of the people there." I speak in the same tone while the response to it is all too predictable.

"But as a result of you and your cronies, we've seen Leanbox and Lowee reduced to nothing more than jokes and may as well be your slave nations. You, you have no legitimacy in this role at all, none of you do, and I can speak with confidence that I can speak on the behalf of every person who isn't brainwashed in Gameindustri in saying. We don't know your qualifications that would make you suitable. We don't want you to rule here or anywhere. And the sooner you're no longer in power, and you're no longer free for what you've done, and the sooner your stupid games end the better." I say to them before sitting down.

After this a person from the Planeptune part of the chamber signals to the cronies sat opposite for them to speak in which they get granted permission.

"Whatever punishment you desire for Black to suffer for his outburst, I'll be happy to dish out on your behalf. It is not acceptable for someone in Black's position to not just criticise a person in the parliament, but call them a dry leaf. It is not right that this man should get away with trampling over the values of this house, and I suggest that rather than just executing these people, we should abolish Lastation completely since they don't produce people of integrity, decency and respect." The moron says with much applause.

I know I won't get an opportunity to speak back in the same way as he did, but I intend to stand and yell back so I can be heard.

"You may not like what I have to say, but maybe you should consider your behaviour. You said that our group by objecting their rule, have said that we've opened the door to villains, monsters and terror, you said that we're rude, disrespectful and we need help getting our thinking to be severely checked, and in fixing our actions that we do every day so it's in tune with you lot, and you treat us as though we're vile villains, even comparing our conduct to that of Arfoire's and the Seven Sages. We've been called by them to be nasty, rotten and smelly. Your whole point is that we shouldn't criticise Neptune and co despite, none of you managing to debunk our points, and yet the Planeptune leaders do that to us in which they're completely wrong, since the bad stuff we have is in their games to make us look bad. You criticise in a nasty way what we desire to happen to them, and yet they do much worse with things such as what I've already said, and even they themselves had admitted of intending to do ever so terrible things, hell even the games have them do such horrible stuff, but you look the other way. It can't be one way and yet it's all one way.

I know you're going to try and take us out Neptune, but you'll just prove to us what you really are, an insecure little girl who can't stand the fact that we've defeated you repeatedly and that our ideology of respect, hard work and caring about people works, where as your selfishness and laziness and only caring about your own stupid ego and foolishly thinking, that only defeating bosses will do doesn't work. We will defeat you in this nightmare, and we will defeat you for good in Gameindustri, wherever you show up it's going to happen." I yell in defiance.

I know it's only a matter of time before we get executed, and right now there's no way of knowing if we have weapons of our own, and even if we do, whether it'll be enough and if we can fight our way out of this place, and be able to kill every last one of them before they can do any more damage. At least I know now thanks to my HUD that we've not been defeated yet, but we need to survive and be free for as long as we do, they won't be able to enact their policies for even if they're in charge, acts have to be passed before they can be carried out. If we can chase them out of here, then they'll have to try something else.

It would be weird for us to be transported in this parliament only for us to be able to fight out of it, even if it's difficult but then again this is perhaps her attempts to torment us, that we can be in nightmares day in day out for us to push through, and seeing us on the edge of defeat, seeing our doom and trying to break us repeatedly is something she enjoys, especially as she's in no danger as Lastation is surrounded and the fight to liberate Lowee has just begun. I wonder if it's more humiliation, not to kill us in a nightmare where there's no chance, but one where there's a slim one to try and crush us, or it could be that she does desire us to fail and is just not competent enough to find a nightmare that has defeated us in a way that satisfies her, considering her desire for revenge after us stopping her so many times.

Whatever the case, maybe I'll find out one day, but now is not the time as I hear Neptune yell out for guards and this forces us to hide, in hopes of buying us time as we then look to each other to see if we have any weapons to fight them off, though my gut says it's doubtful, and any decent weapons be it in quality or quantity is a definite no. But no matter if we have to go down it will be fighting, whether it's by gun, wit or hand to hand combat, we will not give our nemesis the satisfaction of anything less than that.
