A/N Before we really get going on this story I'm doing to address a couple of potential issues. A reviewer asked if they are the Alterans or Lanteans given that Alexander and Corda are from what we call the Pegasus Galaxy, in canon, what they called that galaxy is never addressed. I'm uncertain, Lantean could just refer to the ones that lived on Atlantis itself, given that the humans in Pegasus called them the Ancestors. As for the name I gave the Milky Way Galaxy, Avalon. This comes from the first episode of the ninth season, Avalon and Merlin's (Moros, an Ancient) treasure. As for a long life, I've seen this speculated about in other fics and it makes sense. Their civilization existed for millions of years, a long life would be a natural result of that. Just in case anyone has any questions. Also this does not take place in any of my established aus, but these Alterans will also be familiar with what we call demons and vampires and Magic. Just under different names. And now, on with the story.

Willow stared, horrified by Alexander's declaration that Cordelia was his wife. "You're not married! Especially to her! You hate her! You fight all the time and you're too young. You're not Alexander, you're Xander. You just think you're Alexander because of whatever caused us to turn into our costumes!"
"My name is Corda, not Cordelia. And I am married to Alexander and have been for more then 450 years. I can remember those years. And we don't fight, we bicker, it's a type of flirting and a great deal of fun."
"Which can lead to other kinds of fun." Alexander said cheekily.
If Willow had breath, she'd be gasping.
"Man, it is chaos out there. Are you alright? Where's Buffy?" A voice asked.
Alexander frowned, he'd set his scanner to alert if anyone entered the dwelling, why hadn't it alerted? Both he and Corda grabbed their weapons and leveled them at the newcomer.
"Guard him, Corda. I had the scanner set to alert if someone entered, I need to scan him." Corda just nodded and steadied her grip. Good person to have in a crisis, she'd stay steady under nearly any circumstances. Alexander aimed his scanner at the newcomer and then swore. "Daemona!" Corda didn't hesitate, she pulled the trigger and in a flash, the creature was reduced to dust particles.
"What did you do?!" The incorporeal girl screamed. "You murdered Angel!"
"That was a blood daemona animating a dead body, they feed on the living! They're as bad the Wraith!"
"Angel had a soul!"
"You knew that creature was a blood daemona?" Alexander questioned.
"She'd have to, they need to be invited in remember? Psychic reinforcement of a individual dwelling keeps the creatures from entering. Inviting them in, allows an opening to form. Why would you allow such a creature in your home?" Corda asked.
"He had a soul!"
"If the original human consciousness had been restored, it would be suffering greatly just by the presence of the blood daemona. They feed psychically on negative human emotions, as well as on the blood they use to maintain the body. A merciful end is better then forcing such suffering. Whoever caused it better pray the gods are in a good mood on the day they reach the after life and give them oblivion, or they'll be tortured for such a crime." Alexander said grimly.
Willow stared, now confused. It was not a feeling she liked. "This is a nightmare. That's what it is, it's a nightmare. I'll wake up any moment and everything will be back to normal." She squeezed her eyes shut, trying to block it all out. Then she opened them to find Xander and Cordelia or whatever they were calling themselves, looking amused. "Giles! Giles can fix this. I'll go find Giles. You stay here."
"Bossy little thing isn't she?" Corda said, amused as Willow walked through the wall. "And who are you?" She addressed the other young girl.
"I am Elizabeth, I am uncertain how I arrived in this strange land and wish to return to my father's estate. Why do you dress as a man and carry a weapon?"
"I'm not dressed as a man, I'm dressed as a soldier, because I am one. I carry a weapon because it is required for soldiers to carry weapons."
"Are your men too feeble to defend you?"
"I don't need a man to defend me, I am quite capable of defending myself, most woman are. And we are at war, if you do not defend yourself, then you die."
"Who are you at war against? I have heard nothing of any war in my homeland."
"We battle the Wraith, like the creature I just shot, they feed on human life."
"A demon?"
"No, daemona come from another dimension, the Wraith come from another world. But where they come from does not matter as much as the fact that, they feed on humans and we must defend ourselves from them. They do not care if you are young or old, male or female, all are food to them."
"No wonder you fight. If you are to survive, it is necessary."
"Exactly. Hopefully that girl and this Giles she spoke of will figure out what has brought us all here and then we will be able to return to our homes. Alexander, what is the last thing you remember?"
"I was about to enter the healing stasis pod. I'd been injured too badly for the healing touch."
"That's the last thing I remember too. I was watching you climb into the pod, then I was here, facing that creature out there. That is not your body. I recognize your mental touch, but not the body."
Alexander frowned as he realized she was right, her body wasn't as he remembered either. "Perhaps our consciousnesses were transported? But I've inventoried the equipment I am currently holding and there is no communication stone, so some other method of transporting a consciousness."
"That would make sense. But speculation does us no good if we can not prove or reverse it."
"This Giles the girl spoke of, she seemed certain he would be able to, so I propose we wait a time and see if they can succeed, if it continues, then we should venture out and determine for ourselves."
"I agree."
