Alrighty on to the happy chapter! And it's another chapter made by Blaiseingfire and it is a possible future event in the main story of Puppy Arc but even blaise is unsure so bonus puppy arc content regardless!

Semblances were an odd thing. They could make you do so many cool and unique things or they can help you fight Grimm. But in Jaune's case, his semblance was almost useless. Nora can turn electricity into inhuman strength, Ren can hide him and others from the Grimm, Pyrrha can control metal objects. Jaune… Jaune can turn into a puppy. A cute, little, adorable puppy.

He doesn't even have control over it either. Seemingly at random at least once a week, he'd turn into a dog and be stuck like that for 12 hours. It was ridiculous, but he and his team learned to live with it… and then his semblance evolved. His semblance can now turn other people into dogs if they were close enough.

No one could really understand how his semblance reacted in such a way, not even Ozpin. Most have just accepted it for what it is, but have tried to keep their distance just in case. Unfortunately, this didn't stop some people from being turned into a dog for a day. Notable, all of team JNPR had that happen to them

Nora was the first (well, second if you count Jaune) and turned into a Chihuahua. When she got in an argument with the rest of her team (about something no one could remember, she stuck her tongue in an electrical outlet to spite them. She ran for 3 hours straight before collapsing and spending the rest of her dog time resting on Ren's lap.

Ren was the next victim, turning into a Bloodhound. Unlike everyone else that had this happen to them, he took it rather well, just opting to rest and nap when he wasn't in class. Nora was with him the entire time, unable to take her hands off of his adorable form. Ren didn't seem to mind and seemed to be happier than anyone has ever seen.

Pyrrha, Jaune's girlfriend that he's still not sure how he got, was safe until just this morning. She went to give Jaune a morning hug and moments after she made contact, the room was familiar POOF sound. Everyone turned to see Pyrrha's pajamas crumpled on the floor and then the head of a red-furred and green-eyed Shepard poked out of the hole.

"Ok, see you guys later," Jaune said. Ren and Nora then closed the door and left for their prearranged day.

Jaune laid back down on his bed and after a minute he turned to the occupant in Pyrrha's bed. Pyrrha. "So… how are you doing?"

"Arf," Pyrrha said as she rolled onto her belly.

Jaune couldn't help but let out a chuckle. "Sorry, but you just look so cute."

Pyrrha whined and hid her face behind her paws as best she could.

"Hey don't do that, it could be worse."

Pyrrha dropped her paws and looked at him with a 'are you stupid' expression.

"Well for starters, you're cute as heck." Pyrrha's tail wagged at the compliment. "And two, you could have been a Dachshund, the wiener dog." He adopted a Yang-like grin

"Grrr," she didn't like that, and Jaune knew why. It was revealed that when she was little, she really liked a Dachshund onesie and would run around the house screaming 'I'm a wittle weenie!'

Pyrrha failed at looking intimidating and just looked adorable. Jaune thought about stopping, but with all the teasing he got when he was a dog… a little payback wouldn't hurt.

"Oh come on Pyrrha..."

"Grrrrrrrrrr."

"...quiet being a wittle weenie."

Pyrrha let her anger be known and pounced towards Jaune. Her jump only made it halfway so she fell to the floor. That didn't stop her from jumping on the bed… well she tried to. She got to the edge and then fell down because she couldn't climb up. She tried again and failed. After the fifth time, she stopped.

"...need a hand?" He asked.

Pyrrha growled.

"I'll take that as a yes." He went to reach down but paused. "Will you attack me if I let you up?"

Pyrrha let out a low growl pout.

"How about if you don't attack me, I'll scratch your ears." Pyrrha tried to look nonchalant but interest broke through. Dogs always liked ear scratches, so she was curious about how it felt. "I'll take that as a yes." Jaune picked her up and put her on his bed. He gave her a few seconds before he started scratching behind her ears. "How's it feel?"

Pyrrha tried her best to show a neutral face, but her wagging tail betrayed her. She was enjoying it. Her head leaned towards his fingers. Jaune increased the pace of his scratching, and in turn, Pyrrha's tail wagged faster and she panted happily.

Jaune decided to go further. He flipped her on her back and gave her tummy a 10 finger assault. Pyrrha wiggled and tried biting his fingers to get him to stop but it was too much. Jaune smiled evilly. It felt good being the one in charge for once instead of the one at his friend's mercy. He kept at it until his fingers grew tired.

Jaune then decided to watch some videos online. He laid on his back and Pyrrha copied the move on his chest. He allowed her to pick some videos as well, though it was hard for her to type with her paws. They stayed like that for a little while.

"Hey Pyrrha, do you want to head into Vale later?" Jaune asked.

Her head shot up to his.

"Well I mean, I don't think any of us want to be cooped up in here all day."

Her tail wagged excitedly.

"So, I'm asking… if you… want to go on a walk."

Her tail stopped wagging and she narrowed her eyes. 'Walk' was not the right word and he knew it.

"So, is that a yes or a no to going to Vale?"

Pyrrha licked his chin.

(linebreak)

"Why, yes officer, I am aware that walking your dog without a leash and collar is against the law," Jaune lied to the nice policeman and angry woman who was harping at him. "That is why I am not walking my dog, but giving her a piggyback ride."

The woman then went into a tirade about how Jaune was lying and how he was breaking that law, but as far as the officer knew, he came up to a woman yelling at a kid who had a puppy wrapped around the back of his neck. Pyrrha let him ride on her like that several times so he returned the favor, the only difference was he didn't have long hair she could use as a blanket.

When the cop turned back to the angry woman, Jaune backed away into an alley and escaped.

"Man, she just didn't shut up," Jaune said. Pyrrha whined and covered her ears. "I know right," he gave her reassuring head pats. "Ok so, in case we run into someone else like that, I think we need to get a leash and collar."

Pyrrha made a disapproving growl.

"I know, I know. But better safe than sorry."

It didn't take them long to find a local pet shop.

"Alright, this one is adjustable for all dog sizes, but it shouldn't be uncomfortable," the employee said as he handed Jaune the collar after adjusting it. "You can put it on her now and see if she likes it."

Jaune nodded and held it out to Pyrrha. "I'm going to put it on now. Let me know if it's too tight."

Pyrrha nodded and held her neck out for him.

"Smart girl," the employee said as Jaune put it on her.

"And… there," Jaune took his hands away. "That feel ok?"

Pyrrha looked around and wiggled her neck. "Arf!" She wagged her tail.

"Perfect," the employee clapped his hand. "Now if you may, I need you to fill this out and then you can pay." He handed him a sheet to fill out. Jaune filled it out and paid the man for the collar and leash. "Perfect."

"What's that?" Jaune asked as he heard something printing and the employee grabbed something.

"A tag for the collar," he said. "Well not really a tag but it has all the info in case she gets lost. She trusts you so could you put it in the plastic slot please?"Jaune put the paper in. "Alright," he brought a small mirror and held it in front of Pyrrha. "What do you think lil guy?"

Jaune looked at the mirror as well. Pyrrha looked adorable, but he believed her wagging tail was because "Jaune's" was the most visible word on the tag.

...though to be fair, if he had a collar that said he was Pyrrha's, he'd probably be a happy boy too.

They soon left and Jaune allowed Pyrrha to lead them. Pyrrha just seemed content with walking around the city and Jaune couldn't blame her. The perceptive difference is definitely a curious one to experience: enhanced smell and hearing, a different field of vision, and you didn't have arms just to name a few. Plus, it was good to burn off energy.

They stopped at a crosswalk and waited for the light to turn green.

"Awwww," a young woman next to them cooed. "Your puppy is so adorable."

"Oh, thank you," Jaune said.

"Can I pet her?"

"Uh… Pyrrha, would you mind?" Jaune asked.

Pyrrha tilted her head in thought for a moment before taking a few steps towards the woman

"Thank you," she crouched down and petted her head. Pyrrha panted happily. She wasn't as good as Jaune, but head pets were head pets. "So cute~ How long have you had her?"

"Um, 3 weeks," Jaune said. It wasn't really a lie, that was when they officially started dating.

"That's so adorable that you can take care of something so small and young," the woman stood back up and leaned a little closer to him, batting her eyes. "Really fatherly of you."

Before Jaune could process that she'd just hit on him, the woman jumped back as Pyrrha angrily barked at her. She then retreated and laid on Jaune's feet protectively while growling at her.

The shock wore off quickly and the woman laughed. "That's so cute, how protective she is," she cooed. Pyrrha got angrier that her adorableness wasn't scaring the tramp off.

The light turned green and they continued their walk and parted ways with the woman.

"You ok Pyr?" Jaune asked. "Didn't take you for the jealous type."

Pyrrha huffed embarrassingly, causing Jaune to chuckle.

"You hungry?"

Pyrrha's tail wagged.

They went to a diner that was pet friendly and got a booth. No sooner had Jaune ordered for them, Pyrrha got on his lap and demanded belly rubs and hugs and kisses.

"So needy," Jaune commented as she gave Pyrrha what she wanted. Their food came a few minutes later. "Thank you," he said to the waitress. Jaune got a lunch special and he got a burger patty for Pyrrha.

As he was about to dig in, Pyrrha hopped onto the table and started to tear into the patty.

"... uh, Pyrrha?" Jaune watched Pyrrha try to tear a chunk out of the burger, and struggled to do so. "Do you want me to cut it for you?"

Pyrrha growled and tore a piece off. "You sure you don't want me to cut it?" Pyrrha ignored him and tried to bite the chunk into smaller pieces so she could swallow it. Seconds later, she gave up and slid the plate to him, admitting defeat,

Jaune cut the burger into pieces a dog of her size can swallow. She licked his cheek in tanks and the two enjoyed their food together.

On the way out, they noticed a pastry bar at the exit and just had to get something from there.

"Do you want anything Pyrrha?" Jaune asked as the baker packaged his goods.

"Arf arf!" Pyrrha put both paws on the glass as she looked at the most delicious treat she's ever seen.

"Ok, I'll take..." Jaune crouched to look at what Pyrrha wanted and then frowned. "Uh, Pyrrha."

"Aro?"

"...that's chocolate."

Pyrrha tilted her head.

"You're a dog. You can't have that."

Pyrrha used all dogs' ultimate weapon: puppy eyes. Jaune used all of his will power to resist and almost faltered.

"Pyrrha, that will literally kill you. No."

Pyrrha looked like you told her she was adopted. She looked back at the tasty treats and whined as her head pressed against the glass.

Jaune's heart hurt at the sight.

To try and take her mind off of it, Jaune ended up leading them to a nearby park and took the leash off of her. It was nothing special and he didn't bring her to play catch or anything, but he wanted her to get a different experience. Running through grass as a person was boring, but as a dog it was different. One of the main differences was the grass tickling your legs and belly as you moved. You also ran faster as a dog, so the wind in your face was such a thrilling feeling.

Pyrrha seemed to have picked up on that as well. Jaune couldn't help but smile as he watched Pyrrha happily run all over the place. Through the grass, around trees, between people, chasing a bird, it didn't matter, Pyrrha was having fun. She even managed to play tag with a young kid, which Jaune and the kid's parents found too freaking adorable.

After a while, Pyrrha retired to Jaune's lap and he pet her back and scratched her ears.

"Did you have fun?" Jaune asked.

Pyrrha painted happily and leaned against his hand.

"I'm glad you did. Now, ready to head back, or is there something else you want to do or do you want to head back?"

Pyrrha looked up at him and nodded.

"...yes to staying or yes to leaving."

Pyrrha barked twice.

"Alright," he stood up with Pyrrha in his arms, "let's- wow!" His legs got tangled on the leash and he tripped. He was fine. "I'm fine, Pyrrha-..." Pyrrha landed right in a muddy puddle. "Oh..." he winced.

Pyrrha narrowed her eyes. "Grrr."

"Sorry," his voice cracked.

Pyrrha seemed to sigh as she walked out of the puddle and rapidly shook her body. She got most of the water and mud off, but her fur and body were absolutely filthy. She took a quick sniff of herself and recoiled from the smell with a whine.

"Sorry Pyrrha," Jaune apologized. "I can clean you when we get back to the dorm."

"Aroooo," Pyrrha whined and slammed her front paws on the ground.. Jaune could tell it she wasn't opposed to a bath, but that it would take too long to get back to the dorm. She wanted to be clean now.

"Ok, well I could find a public bathroom or..." he followed her gaze to the fountain in the middle of the park. He knew exactly what she was thinking. "Pyrrha, no."

He locked eyes with her. He saw a certain glint in her eyes. It was the same glint Nora had before she stuck her tongue in the electrical outlet, or when Zwei would purposely cuddle with Blake's books. It was also the same look he gave when he was about to do something mischievous to mess with his sisters back home.

"Pyrrha, no."

Pyrrha adopted an evil puppy grin.

"Don't you- no!" Pyrrha took off at full speed for the fountain. "Oh no you don't!" Jaune dove for the leash and caught it. "Got you...oh." He then realized the leash wasn't attached to the collar because he took it off so she could run in the park.

Jaune could only watch as Pyrrha ran and then majestically jumped into the air and splashed into the fountain, scaring a nearby couple. Jaune just shook his head, letting a small smile slip as he walked to the fountain. By the time he got there, a small crowd gathered to watch her swim laps in the fountain. Well, at least the mud seemed to have washed off of her.

"Pyrrha," he called as she swam by, causing her to turn and swim up to him with a smile and wagging tail. "Remember when I said 'don't jump in the fountain'?"

Pyrrha did, but choose to ignore him and keep swimming, earning a few laughs at his expense.

"Alright Pyrrha, come on, before we get in trouble." Pyrrha saw his point and finished her lap before hopping out.

Jaune saw another mischievous glint in her eye. He spotted it too late as she shook her body, getting his clothes all wet.

"Hey!"

"Arf!" Pyrrha then happily jumped to him. He caught her, and while she wasn't dripping wet, she got more water all over his shirt.

"You did all of that on purpose, didn't you?"

Pyrrha responded by licking his cheek.

Jaune kissed her forehead in return. "Love you too," he said as he carried her back to Beacon.

Once they got back, it was just a matter of waiting until Jaune's semblance to wear off. So they did what any normal person would: watch cat videos on the internet. Pyrrha panted in laughter as a cat was scared by a cucumber. Jaune didn't know why, but as a dog, seeing cats suffer was the most enjoyable thing in the world.

He took a glance at the clock on the wall and saw the time. He couldn't remember the exact minute, but it was close to the 12 hour mark where the semblance wears off. Pyrrha should be back to normal any mome-

POOF

With a familiar sound that everyone at Beacon knew, Pyrrha was now back to her normal, human self. It also didn't take them long to realize Pyrrha was naked.

"Eep!" Pyrrha leaped off of him "I'm sorry!" She scrambled to cover herself with a blanket.

"No no, it's fine!" Jaune blushed and looked away from her. "J-just let me know when I can look again."

"O-ok," Pyrrha then went to get clothes on. "Ok, I'm decent now."

Jaune turned to see her in a cute set of pajamas. "Wanna come back and watch cat videos?"

"...yes please," Pyrrha snuggled next to him and picked the next video.

"So, how was it?"

"Hmm?"

"How was it being a dog?"

Pyrrha was silent for several long moments. "It was… different."

"Yeah, I get what you mean." They snuggled closer. "Oh! I almost forgot."

"Forgot what?" Pyrrha asked as Jaune pulled out the bag that had his pastry in it and pulled something out. Pyrrha gasped as her eyes shined.

It was the chocolate dessert she saw in the shop, the one Jaune said he wouldn't get.

"I didn't want you to eat it when you were a dog, but I quietly asked the cashier for it since, well, you wouldn't be a dog for-" He was interrupted when Pyrrha smacked her lips to his. She pulled back after 2 minutes.

"Thank you," she said and then took a bite from the chocolate still in his hand.

Jaune just smiled. He didn't imagine any of this when he signed up for Beacon, but he wouldn't trade it for anything.
