Pyrrha fidgeted with her hair as she sat on the airbus towards Argus, with her partner Jaune Arc, sitting by her side. Her blond lovable partner looking out at the snow-covered trees as he smiled at the passing images. Pyrrha herself was avoiding looking at him as she was a blushing mess while asking herself…
'How on Remnant did this happen!?'
Well, it was summer break at Beacon Academy and Pyrrha had decided to return home to Argus for a bit. Ren and Nora were staying at the school, seeing as they had nowhere else to go, and Team RWBY were off on their little summer adventures. Pyrrha was going to use this chance to sort out her feelings for the blond Arc. Little did she know, her partner was also coming with her. Apparently, he had family in Argus and wanted to visit them. She didn't find out until they got on the same transport and were seated in the same seats…
What are the odds?
"Man, I can't wait till we get to Argus, it's been ages since I've been here," Jaune said as he looked to his partner. "I was kind of nervous going back, but I'm glad you're coming along too, Pyrrha." He said with a smile.
She felt her cheeks redden at his smile as she waved her hand. "Oh, it's nothing! I'm just surprised we're going in the same direction. I didn't know you were born in Argus as well?"
"Well, actually I was born in Ansel, a few towns over." He admitted while rubbing a hand through his hair. "One of my Sister's and her partner, on the other hand, live in Argus. They recently adopted a child together and I wanted to come and see my new nephew." He brought out his scroll as he showed a picture of two women, one Jaune's sister and another holding a small child in their arms.
"His name is Adrian, and they just finalized the paperwork, isn't he cute?" he asked as she nodded.
"Yes, he's very cute…" she said, her mind suddenly replacing the three with older versions of themselves, and a child of their mixed heritage in their arms as she blushed. She shook her head as she banished the thoughts, even though they cling deeply into her subconsciousness. "So, I guess this makes you an Uncle, correct?"
He nodded with a grin. "Yep, I'm officially Jaune Arc, Worlds Best Uncle. And it's my job to teach him all the manly things he'll need to survive in this world!" he said with a grin.
"Like how to wear a dress?" she asked with a smirk, as his eyes widened and he bowed his head, hands pressed together in a begging like motion.
"Please~! Don't mention that! I got one shot to be a manly uncle in his eyes! And I can't ruin that for him!" he begged. "I'll do anything for you! Anything at all!" he begged as she blushed.
'A-Anything?' she mentally imagined something that caused her cheeks to flush before she shook her head. "O-Okay, I promise." She said as Jaune sighed in relief. "But wouldn't your family have other embarrassing moments about you to tell him?" his face suddenly paled as he slumped over in his seat.
"Argh…So much for being a 'manly uncle,' huh?" he groaned as she giggled at him.
The shuttle soon arrived at Argus as the pair got off. They looked around at the cobblestones streets and transit like cars running all through the town. In the distance, they could see the Atlas Military Base that was responsible for the protection of the town and its trades with Atlas.
The pair got on a streetcar as they rode the car down one of the many hills. "Are you sure you want to visit my family first? Didn't you come here to visit your own family?" Jaune asked as they sat on the streetcar.
"I'm sure. My mother just texted me and said she would be busy for the next couple of days. I told her I would be staying at my partner's place and she happily agreed to it." She told him, although she neglected to tell him of the small winking emoji her mother replied. "If that's okay?"
"Of course, you're my best friend, Pyrrha. My sister has plenty of space and would love having you over." He said as she smiled at him. "And hey, I can also introduce you to my parents!" he said with a grin as she stared blankly at him.
"…What?"
"Oh, didn't I mention? My parents would be here as well. They wanted to see their new grandson, so they decided to come to visit at the same time I arrive. They should be at her place already." He said, not notching the increasingly panicked look on his partner's face as they walked up to a tall brick building.
'P-Parents! I'm meeting his parents!?' she suddenly began to panic and adjusted her clothing. 'This is all too sudden! I-I'm not properly dressed! My hair is a mess! Gah! They're going to think badly about me! …Wait? Why am I worrying? It's not like Jaune and I are dating or anything…' her shoulders then shagged into depression.
'That's right…we aren't even dating…'
Jaune didn't notice as he knocked on the door, the door soon opened as a dirty blond-haired woman with dark blue eyes opened the door. Her eyes widened in recognition as she smiled brightly. "Jaune!" she yelled as she embraced the boy.
"It's so good to see you again!" she said as Jaune smiled and returned the hug.
"It's good to see you too, Saph." He said as he hugged his sister. "I came as soon as I heard you got the adoption papers sorted." He said before he broke about the hug. "How is he?" he asked.
"He's asleep right now, but he'll be up in an hour or so. And who is this?" she asked as she spotted Pyrrha standing behind them.
"Oh, that's Pyrrha, she's my partner at Beacon." He explained as she looked over the girl.
"U-Um, it's nice to meet you," Pyrrha said as she held out her hand for a shake. But was surprised when she was embraced in a hug.
"Oh no, none of that! If Jauney vouches for you, then you must be good!" she said as she patted the redhead on the back. "So, you must be the Pyrrha Jaune talked about," she said as they separated. "I thank you for looking after my brother. He can be a bit of a handful,"
"Hey~" he groaned as Pyrrha giggled.
"It's fine, Jaune has been an excellent partner and a good friend." She said as Jaune smiled at the praise, while Saphron raised an eyebrow. A small knowing smirk grew on her face, as she could instantly tell what the young champion thought of her little brother.
Something their mother would be quite interested in.
"Well, it's very nice to meet you. And don't worry, I'm sure mum and dad would love to mee you." She said, sending a small subtle message to the champion who blushed, as Jaune sighed.
"Speaking of which…are they here?" he asked, as she nodded and turned to the door. Which soon opened to a sight that made Pyrrha shiver slightly. In front of them was a large intimidating blond-haired man, almost three heads taller than Jaune. With broad shoulders, a chiselled chest, huge biceps, a handsome face and Accompanied by a glorious beard to boot.
"Hey dad," Jaune said nonchalantly as Pyrrha flinched.
'DAD!? That's his father!' she mentally screeched as the tall man looked down with an almost scary look on his face as Pyrrha shivered on the spot…
Right before the man grinned with a gentle expression. "Jaune! It's good to see you soon!" he wrapped his large arms around his son and brought him into a hug. Pyrrha flinched a little, afraid that the big man was crushing his spine. "You haven't called us since you went off to Beacon. Your mother and I were starting to get worried!" he said as he released a hearty laugh.
"I am fine, dad! But…if…you don't let go! I'm…going…to…die!" he managed to say in between breaths as the large man dropped his son.
"Whoops, sorry son. Didn't mean to hurt ya," he said before turning to the hallway. "Diana! Come quick! Jaune came to visit!" he shouted as suddenly a smaller woman, roughly a head taller than Pyrrha came rushing to the door.
"Jaune!" she yelled as tackled her son, grabbing him with a surprising amount of strength, considering her smaller body. "Oh, my baby! Why haven't you called us! Don't you know how worried we were about you!?" she yelled while hugging and kissing the boy on the cheek, much to his embarrassment.
Even Pyrrha had to giggle at the sight.
"M-Mum! I'm fine! I'm sorry I forgot to call! But I've been very busy at Beacon! Now please stop! You're embarrassing me in front of my partner!" he managed to yell out as that managed to get her attention.
"Partner?" she asked as she shifted her gaze to Pyrrha, who flinched at the sudden analytical like glare she was receiving. The woman before her had long brown hair, blue eyes and a rather impressive figure. She then dropped her son and walked right up to her as she eyed the red-haired girl, who cowered slightly under the intimidating glare the Arc Matriarch was giving her.
"U-Um…Hello, Mrs. Arc, U-m….my name is P-Pyrrha…" she stuttered as Diana glared at the champion before a bright smile spread across the Arc-Mama's face.
"Oh, it's very nice to meet you!" She said as she embraced the four-time champ.
'Hugging must be a family thing?' Pyrrha thought as she felt her bones ache from the strength of the woman.
"It's an absolute pleasure to meet you, Pyrrha. My name is Diana, Diana Arc. And over there is my husband, Roland." She thumbed over to the large man who waved. "Our son is so lucky to have you as his partner. He can be a bit of a handful, ever since he was a kid." She said as she smiled.
"I was not…" Jaune mumbled as he crossed his arms while Pyrrha chuckled.
"W-Well, I'm lucky to have him as a partner. He's been a real true friend to me since we started Beacon." She said as Mama Arc looked over to her daughter and they instantly seemed to communicate with each other.
"I see…Well, how about we all get inside? This weather is too cold to be standing around, and I'm sure you all came to see Adrian, right?" she asked as Jaune nodded. "Plus, you can tell us everything that's been going on at Beacon since you left." She said as they all walked back inside.
As they walked Diana was observing Pyrrha as she took note of the young maiden's physic.
'Ample breasts, a nice waist, good birthing hips, modest, and clearly has a crush on our son…' she suddenly smirked as a dangerous glint shined in her eyes. 'She'll be perfect.' She grinned as Roland felt sweat running down the back of his head.
"Honey, you're not thinking of-"
"Hush dear!" she placed a finger on his lips. Despite the height difference, as she walked back into the house. "It's time Mama-Arc started playing matchmaker…" she grinned as she cackled back to the house as Roland sighed.
"I'm sorry Jaune, but it looks like your mum has grandbabies on the brain."
Cotta-Arc Residence – Living Room
Pyrrha starred with awed eyes at the small child in front of her as she admired the adorableness of the toddler. The little toddler playing with his dust ship toy as he laughed and giggled at the toy.
"He's quite adorable, isn't he?" Saphron asked as she sat with Jaune, Diana, Roland and Pyrrha on the couch.
"He is," Pyrrha said as she used her Semblance to pick up the toy and hover it around the child's head, who only laughed and tried to reach for the toy. "I heard adoption wasn't an easy thing to apply for. It must've taken a long time do it?" she asked as Saphron nodded.
"It took us a long time to get the adoption papers in order, but Terra and I are happy to finally have him in our home." She said as she sipped from her tea. "It was a long and grueling 18 months, but it was totally worth it." She said with a smile.
"Well, I am happy for you sis," Jaune said as he smiled down at his nephew. "And I can tell he's going to be well-loved."
"Oh ho, what's this, getting the family bug, little brother?" Saphron asked with a smirk as he blushed.
"No, not anytime soon. I'm too young for that." He said as he sipped his tea.
"I don't know son, when I was a little older than you, I was happily married and had two children by then," Roland said, his massive size being comical on the couch. "You may never know Jaune, the right woman could be right under your nose." His wife smirked and stealthily raised her thumb to her husband.
"I don't know, I don't think there's a lot of girls that would be interested in me." He said as Pyrrha slumped her shoulders slightly.
'…Our Son/Jaune is an idiot!' the other three Arc's mentally yelled.
"Anyway, Pyrrha, tell us a little bit about yourself," Saphron said as she tried to cheer up the poor girl. "I feel like I've seen you somewhere before?" she asked as Pyrrha shyly blushed and rubbed her arm.
"Well, I may have won a few tournaments in my life, but they're not important." She said as Diana snapped her fingers.
"Ah, now I remember. You broke my record and won four Tournaments in a row! That's pretty impressive." She said as Pyrrha blinked and stared at the woman.
"Wait…are you, Diana Trevor? The Diana Trevor 'The Goddess of War' that won three tournaments in a row! Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry I didn't recognize you!" she apologized as Diana laughed and waved a hand at her.
"Oh, I haven't gone by that title in years. Nowadays I am but a simple housewife, looking after and raising my eight children." She said as she snuggled up to her husband. "And I honestly couldn't be anymore happier, epically while I've got my darling husband by my side!" she said as Roland blushed.
"Oh, honey!" he said as they embraced each other. Love and hearts radiating off their forms, literally, as Saphron and Jaune cringed at the lovey display. Little hearts bounced off their heads, while Pyrrha blushed at the display.
"Well, that's different for you guys, but right now I just need to worry about being the cool manly uncle he can look up to," Jaune said as he took a sip of his tea.
"Not if I don't show him the photo album," Diana said with a grin as Jaune suddenly spit out his drink.
"Photo album?" Pyrrha asked with more curiosity than she let on, much to Diana's amusement.
"Oh yes, when Jaune was little his sister used to use him for dress up. Putting him in cute little outfits and making him play dress up, oh it was so cute!" she suddenly wiped out a large photo album, with a golden design as it almost shined like a holy relic in Pyrrha's eyes. "Would you like to see them?" she asked.
"No! Don't show her those!" he leapt for the book, only for his mother to use his body weight against him and flip him into the wall.
"You're still too young to beat me, son." She said with a serious tone, before turning back to Pyrrha with a bright smile "You want to have a look?" she asked as Pyrrha internally fought within herself and shook her head.
"I-I couldn't Mrs Arc, those seem like precious family pictures, and it wouldn't feel right to do so." She said as Jaune got back up with a happy smile on his face. Before it turned to dread as his mouth grinned like a Cheshire cat.
"There's plenty of baby pictures in here~"
Pyrrha's internal walls were beginning to breakdown as her fingers itched and inched towards the book. "I…I'm sorry Jaune!" she took the book and looked through them.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Jaune yelled as he jumped towards the book, only to be grabbed in mid-air by his father.
"Come on Jaune, you know once your mother sinks her teeth in, there's no stopping her." He told his son, despite the struggling teen in his arm. "Let's get dinner started." He said as Jaune continued to struggle, much to the amusement of his mother until they were out of the room. Saphron then looked up to the clock as she saw the time.
"I'm going to go pick up Terra from work, you going to be okay here mum?" Saphron asked while she picked up her son, as Diana nodded.
Soon it was only the matriarch of the family and Pyrrha as they sat on the couch. Pyrrha was engrained with pictures of Jaune from when he was a child. Something that made Diana smile. She silently drank her tea as the two-women sat in silence.
"…How is he?" Diana suddenly asked as Pyrrha snapped out of her trance.
"Excuse me?" she asked.
"Jaune? How is he at Beacon? He hasn't told us much of his time there, only about you and his friends." She explained. "Has he been doing well?" she asked as Pyrrha sighed and put the book down.
"To be honest, at the start Jaune struggled a bit. He had a hard time catching up to the others, which was why I offered to train with him initially…but…"
"He turned you down?" she asked as Pyrrha nodded, the memory was bittersweet. "That sounds just like him, my son can be stubborn at times. Just like his father. Always had troubling of asking for others help, until he'd get a kick in the pants."
"It did take him fighting an Ursa Major to realize he needed help," she admitted as Diana widened her eyes at that. "After that, he asked for my help and we started training together." She said as a small smile grew on her face. "Since then, he's been improving leaps and bounds. I think he'll become a great Huntsman someday." She said as Diana smiled sombrely at that.
"That's…good…" she said as Pyrrha felt confused.
"Mrs. Arc?" Pyrrha asked as the woman chuckled.
"You don't have to call me Mrs. Arc, dear. Call me Diana," she asked as Pyrrha nodded.
"Right, Diana…why wasn't Jaune trained before?" she asked as the older sighed.
"…I guess Jaune hasn't told you, huh?" she asked as Pyrrha was even more confused and shook her head. "Figures…okay, so as you know, Roland and I were former Huntsman. Roland from the famous Arc Clan, and I was raised by Nomads. We both enrolled at Academies and trained to be Huntsmen. Eventually, we meet, fell in love, got married and had kids." She reminisced.
"But during our earlier years…we saw some things, things that had hardened us, scarred us…" she rubbed a hand over her stomach. "Some in more ways the others. So, when we had our first Daughter, we realized that we didn't want that kind of life for our children. We decided it would be safer for them if they never were exposed to the dangers and expectations of being a Huntsmen. We wanted them to be safe…"
"Forgive me for sounding disrespectful Diana, but…that sounds…"
"Naïve?" she asked as Pyrrha nodded. "Don't apologize, I understand, it does seem like a naïve thing to wish for considering the Grimm and the bandits. But we were determined to give our children a better life, let them know that others could take up the mantle instead of them. But Jaune…" she sighed as she shook her head. "Jaune wanted nothing more than to grow up and be like his ancestors. I guess we told one too many bedtime stories and it got stuck in his head." She sighed.
"Of course, we were against the idea, told him over and over that he wasn't allowed to become a Huntsman. But you can only stop children for so long before age catches up and they're allowed to follow their own path. I guess we just hoped that he'd changed his mind by then. But…" she said as Pyrrha chuckled.
"But he's too stubborn?" Pyrrha finished as Diana chuckled.
"Yes, just like his father and his father before him…and maybe a little bit of me." She joked as Pyrrha chuckled. "When the day came for him to go to Beacon, and he got accepted in despite no training." Pyrrha gulped at the knowledge of his fake transcripts. "We got a little worried. We had spent so much time keeping him away, we feared that now we didn't prepare him. It made us regret no helping him, we even told him that if it got too difficult, he could always come home…I don't think he took it too well." She said remembering the glare he gave after they said that to him.
"We didn't mean to hurt his feelings, we just wanted him to know that we wanted him to be safe. That's all we cared about…but I think he thought that we didn't believe in him, or that we didn't think he could handle it?" she sighed. "We love our son, and we want what's best for him…but maybe…we should've thought about what he wanted. Maybe things would've been different?" she asked herself as Pyrrha placed a comforting hand on hers.
"Mrs-Diana…Jaune loves you, he truly does love you. He can be stubborn and hard to express his feelings, trust me on that one, but I don't think he hates you. He just wants to prove himself, like anyone else. Maybe things could've been different if you trained him, and then again maybe they couldn't be. But always know that Jaune will always love his family, no matter what. And I promise you I will always watch out for him and keep him safe. You have my word." She said as Diana stared into the eyes of the red-haired girl.
"That's…very nice, thank you Pyrrha." She said with a smile, as Pyrrha smiled back at her. "I can see why you have a crush on my son."
Pyrrha's face exploded in a bright shade of red as she nearly jumped off the couch. "I-I! I don't know what you're talking about! I-!" she tried to convince as Diana just raised a brow at her skeptically. Pyrrha sighed as she slumped her shoulders.
"…Is it that obvious?"
Diana chuckled. "Oh, you're just like me when I was your age. And Jaune is exactly like his father, believe it or not. Can't tell a good-looking gal has a crush on him if it smacked him in the face…which I did to Roland once…" she said as Pyrrha raised an eyebrow. "Don't worry, I won't tell. But you need to be the one to tell him. Take my advice and don't wait any longer than necessary. Arc men need a good kick in the backside before they get it through those thick bones, they call skulls." She said as she smiled.
"And if you're worried about him rejecting you, don't. Jaune speaks the world of you, I think he may care about you more than he realizes. Just keep a strong chin up and don't hesitate when the time is right. Trust me." She told the young maiden who was a blushing storm at this point. "Besides, you're a cute girl who generally cares about my son, I would be honored and proud for you two to date." She told her as Pyrrha blushed brighter.
"…Thank you," she said in the smallest voice possible as Diana chuckled.
"No worries, but I do have a request. if you two date and eventually marry." She said as Pyrrha turned to the woman who held her tea to her lips.
"I expect no more than ten Grandchildren."
…Steam exploded off Pyrrha's head and anything metal suddenly went flying as she lost control of her Semblance. Not that it seemed to bother Diana as she easily avoided the objects as if they were nothing.
"T-T-T-T-T-TEN! I-Isn't that a but much!?" she asked as Diana blinked.
"Hmm…not really, I managed to have eight children, mostly because I wanted to have many children, and then many darling grandchildren in my old age. So it should be no problem for you, seeing as you broke my Tournament record," She said as she set her cup down. "Besides I think you will be up to the task. I mean…" she then pointed to the girl's hips as Pyrrha blushed more.
"These are some very impressive birthing hips, and a beautiful physic; my boy must be blind not to notice them." Pyrrha was atomic red at this point as the older woman compliment her physical being. "So, when you do get together, ten grandchildren are all I ask for." She said as she let go and Pyrrha was left a blushing mess.
"…I'll…I'll consider it…" she muttered as the Arc Matriarch grinned.
"HAHAHAHA! That's what I want to hear!" she laughed slapping her on the back. "But seriously, my son would be blessed to have you as his girlfriend, and you have my full support." She said as Pyrrha blushed but smiled a little.
"Hey, we're back!" Jaune called out, finally calming down from being embarrassed. He looked on in confusion at his blushing partner and grinning mother. "You guys okay?" he asked as Pyrrha squeaked in surprise.
"W-We're fine! Really!" she yelled as Diana chuckled before giving Pyrrha a nudge.
"…Mum what did you do?" he asked dreading that she told Pyrrha something embarrassing.
"Nothing you need to worry about Jaune." She said as she sipped her tea. "Nothing at all," she said as Jaune remained skeptical to this day. But hey, that's how it usually went when you visit future in-laws.
For those of you who worry, knowing the future that would come, fear not. For this is an alternate world. And in alternate worlds, things can take a surprising change…
A few Months Later – The Battle of Beacon
The beacon invasion was in full swing, as Pyrrha crouched on the ground, a glass arrow in her heel as she was defeated. Standing above her was the one who had set it all into motion. Cinder Fall, a woman that had stolen the power of the Fall Maiden and brought Beacon to its knees.
"It's unfortunate that you were promised a power that was never truly yours," She kneels and lifts Pyrrha's chin, staring into her eyes and smiling. "But take comfort in knowing that I will use it in ways you could never have imagined," she said as Pyrrha jerked her head away, then stares into her eyes as she says her final words.
"Do you believe in Destiny?" silence resonates in the tower as Cinder merely stares before nodding.
"Yes," she says with a final word as a bow and arrow form in her hands and she aims it. Ruby just appearing on the edge as she looks up in horror as Cinder pulls back the arrow, ready to drive it through her chest as she could do nothing but watch...
That was a large stone came flying at them and caused Cinder to tumble back before landing less than gracefully. "WHAT!?" she yelled as dust continued to drift from the stone.
"Phew, that was close. For a second I almost thought I wouldn't make it in time." A woman wearing black pants, brown boots, long brown hair, and long white-collared, button-up blouse was seen sitting upon the stone column that had been thrown at them as Pyrrha's eyes widened in shock. "Sorry about that, the elevator was out so I had to make my husband throw me up! It's a good his Semblance can alter gravity, otherwise, I wouldn't have made it in time!" she said as Pyrrha gasped in shock.
"D-Diana!" she yelled as the woman turned around to Pyrrha with a glare.
But before she could say anything a kick went straight to her face. "YOU IDIOT!" she yelled as Pyrrha gagged in shock, along with Ruby and Cinder. "What the hell were you thinking!? I thought I made it damn clear I wanted ten grandchildren from you! You can't do that if you're dead! Can't you!"
"N-No! I'm sorry!" she yelled with a panicked expression as Diana sighed.
"It's a good thing we were coming to visit, otherwise you could've died and then what would've happened to my boy? I know you want to protect him, but sometimes that means standing with him, not shoving him away!" She said as Pyrrha hung her head. "But the fact you got him away from danger is good in my books, so thank you Pyrrha." She said as Pyrrha smiled.
"Excuse me!" they turned to Cinder as she glared. "But what the hell are you?"
"Oh me, I'm no one, just making sure my future daughter-in-law, doesn't get herself killed," she said with a smile as Cinder raised a confused eyebrow.
"A nobody? Humph, well it doesn't matter. There's not much you can do, none of you will be getting out of here alive…Kill them!" she ordered the Wyvern as it roared and lunged for the woman, colliding with the woman and sending dust all over the place. Cinder grinned expecting to see a dead housewife, only to gape in shock as she stood before them, holding the beast in its track.
"Well, isn't that a little rude?" Diana said as the muscles in her arm bulged slightly. "lunging at us like a rabid animal, you Grimm sure do have some rude manners…" red aura began to circulate around her arm as she clenched her fist.
"Let me teach you some manners!" her fist collided with the Grimm as its head snapped back from the blow and tumbled off the tower. Cinder, Pyrrha and Ruby staring with wide eyes as the Wyvern fell from the tower.
"Honey! Come at you!" she yelled over the tower as Roland stood at the base, as dark purple aura radiated off him.
"Right!" he yelled as he flexed his muscles, and the creature came falling, only to be met by a large blond man as his fist slammed into the Wyverns face and sent it flying back into the already demolished school.
Cinder gazed with wide comical eyes as she stared at the strange man and woman. "W-What the hell!? What the hell did you do to my Grimm!" she demanded as the woman turned back and grinned.
"Oh, that was just me using my Semblance, 'Phantom Pain', it allows me to use previous pain that I've endured over my life to increase my strength ten-fold. My Husbands allows him to alter Gravity with himself and anything he touches, whether it be heavier or lighter. Although I'll admit we're a little rusty. It's been years since we've used our semblances and our bodies aren't what they used to be, But even we can hold back a Grimm like that, no sweat!" she said as Cinder ground her teeth.
"Uh, Pyrrha, who is that?" Ruby asked as Pyrrha swallowed her fear.
"That…is Jaune's mother…my future mother-in-law…apparently?" she said as Ruby's eyes widened in shock.
"You…" Cinder snarled as she summoned her glass blades and charged at the woman. "I'll kill you!" she yelled as she lunged at the woman. But Diana merely threw her over her shoulder, using her own body weight against her, slamming into one of the many gears of the tower as she gasped in pain.
"I've heard about you, my son said you had some sort of strange power. But clearly, you're not fully used to it yet. And honestly, your moves are a little sloppy. All style and now skill, how was it that Pyrrha got beaten by you?" she asked as it only served to enrage her.
"Y-You old hag! Who the hell do you think you are!?" she demanded as Diana felt a blood vessel on her head as she grinned wickedly with a twitching eye.
"A hag huh? You think me a hag, well, that's rich coming from someone clearly trying to relive her youth by pretending to be a high school student. but okay…if you truly want to know who I am, I'll tell you…" she pointed to her chest with her thumb, took a deep breath and yelled at the top of her lungs.
"A HOUSEWIFE!" the tone of her voice and the force of her yell made her stumble back a bit, even Pyrrha and Ruby were slightly taken back by her.
"and if you think I'm going to let you kill my future-daughter-in-law, then you've got another thing coming you delusional old hag!" she yelled, she pointed to her as if she was a mother, which was, scolding a child.
Cinder's eye twitched this time as she brandished her glass swords. "Okay, you hag!" that enraged her more, as Cinder summoned the power of the Fall Maiden, fire dancing around her form. "Let's see how you deal with the power of a Mai-DEFUQ!" a fist was suddenly thrown into her face as she held her nose.
"ARGH! OH MY GOD! YOU PUNCHED ME IN THE FUCKING FACE, YOU CU- GAH!" another fist landed square in her face as Diana moved swiftly and without mercy. "YOU DID IT AGAIN! ARGH! I THINK YOU BROKE MY NOSE!" she prepared to summon a torrent of fire, before Diana grabbed her by her arm and surged her semblance into Cinder, causing her body to be racked with pain.
"ARGH!" she screamed outright murder as she fell to the floor. A dark yellow stain forming near her crotch and a foul odour lingering from her breeches. "W-What the hell was that!?" she yelled as Diana grinned.
"Oh, did I forget to mention? My Semblance also allows me to transfer their pain to boost my own And I can also transfer any pain I've experienced in my life to another. What you just experienced was the pain I felt when I gave birth to my son," she explained as Cinder's eyes widened. "But did you know, I've given birth eight times in my life?" her pupils dilated in terror as the woman cracked her knuckles.
"And seeing as you've clearly never had children before…" a dark malicious grin formed on her face as Diana seemed to tower over her. "How about I show you what it's like to give birth eight times at once? The last man I did it to, ended up as a vegetable…"
Pyrrha and Ruby were shaking with fear as Cinder felt her legs quake with fear.
"That…that…" she began…Before bolting for the edge of the tower. "THAT'S TOO OP OF A SEMBLANCE!" she yelled jumping off the tower and flying away with her flames. Diana staring at her retreating form, as she scoffed at the woman.
"Pfft, wuss," she said as she turned to Pyrrha and Ruby as they flinched.
"Now, come along you two. I'm pretty sure my husband has gotten the rest to get their act together and killed that Wyvern by now. So, let's get you to the medics, okay? I'm pretty sure my son is worried sick about you." she asked as they dumbly nodded.
"Hey, Pyrrha…" Ruby said as she turned to her. "I am totally not envious she's going to be your mother-in-law." She said as Pyrrha swallowed her fear and nodded.
"Yeah…I know…"
And so, the Invasion of Beacon was halted. All thanks to the unlikely arrival and random appearance of a Housewife and a Husband. Over time they found a way to defeat Salem and ended her curse once and for all, bringing peace to Remnant. Jaune and Pyrrha eventually got married and as promised, gave birth to ten beautiful grandchildren all who grew up to become great Huntsmen and Huntresses like their family.
And nothing bad ever happened…EVER…
