Cybertron... Cybertron was the home to mechanical beings who transformed into any type of vehicle and once lived peacefully. Until the form of darkness took over their planet and separated the Cybertronians into two factions: the heroic Autobots and the evil Decepticons. This led to a deadly devastating war and destroyed their home planet. The Decepticons were planning to use their home planet core, the Allspark, to create a new army from other worlds' technology and weapons and rule over other planets for resources. The Autobots had no choice but to transport the core to another world, somewhere the Decepticons would never find it. Cybertron had fallen once the core was sent off the planet and every life was transported to seek a new home. The Allspark landed on Earth and was hidden for centuries... But sadly... the Decepticons have discovered it.
In the 19th century, soaring over icebergs, a derelict sailing vessel, lilting, trapped in ice. The crew works desperately to free the ship. The crew's captain, Archibald Witwicky, was walking past his men, encouraging them to work hard to free their ship. "Put your backs to it, or we'll be chopping our way back to the states," he shouted at them. "No sacrifice, no victory, lads!"
Suddenly, the snow huskies picked something up as the dogs rushed off into the snow. "Captain," the first mate informed Witwicky. "There's something out there!"
The captain and his crew followed the dogs until they found them digging through the ice as the group aided them. "There's something below the ice, Captain!"
Suddenly, the ice they're standing on starts to crack and a huge rift opens, sending both the captain and a husky sliding down within the surface. The crews gathered around the hole as they cried out for their captain but Witwicky shouted he was fine. Archibald starts to wander within the depths of the ice.
The captain was completely shocked by an unbelievable discovery. He found a deceased metal being half buried in ice as it bore a Decepticon emblem. Witwicky stood before the face of the decayed Cybertronian as he shouted to his crew, "Men! We just made a discovery! Come down here and see for yourselves!"
Archibald stepped forward and gently laid his hand on the frozen being's eye. Then, the robotic being system suddenly activates one last time and a laser blast sears the captain's eyes for a millisecond as he screams clutching his eyes. His men arrived and helped Witwicky up as he was trembling in agony. They found Archibald's eyes completely white, finding him blind. The blast from the frozen being left a Cybertronian carving within the captain's glasses.
In the present time, in the desert of Qatar, two V-22 Osprey aircraft heading towards a military base, carrying Captain William Lennox and his team of Rangers. The team chats with each other about what they're planning to do once they return home. "Oh, God, five months of this. I can't wait to get a little taste of home. A plate of mama's alligator touffe," Jorge Figueroa told his team.
"You've been talking about barbecued 'gators and crickets for the last two weeks. I'm never going to your mama's house, Fig," Epps told him, annoyed.
The two argue with each other over the subject as Figueroa starts speaking Spanish to him, and none of them understand what he's saying. Their leader, Lennox, ended the argument by telling his teammate, "I don't- I mean, how many times have we- we don't speak Spanish. I told you that."
"Why you gotta ruin it for me, man? That's my heritage," Figueroa said disappointed.
"Fine. Go with the Spanish. Whatever."
"Hey, do you guys remember weekends," Patrick Donnelly asked his team. "Huh? The Sox at Fenway. Cold hotdog and a flat beer."
"Perfect day," Epps nodded.
"What about you, Captain? You had a perfect day," Figueroa asked his captain.
"Nah, I just can't wait to hold my baby girl for the first time," Lennox told his team. His teammates started cooing about hearing about their captain's child and embarrassing him. "Shut up."
Soon, the team landed at the military base, SOCCENT Forward Operations Base. Lennox and his men relaxed and interacted with other soldiers by playing basketball and training. The captain went over to the pilots who flew the F-22 Raptor fighters. "Ha, Anderson," he greeted a female pilot. "Flying great out there?"
"As always, Lennox," she told him. "How was your daily patrol with you and your team?"
"Went well. All quiet and peaceful for now."
"That's great. Any mail from Sarah lately?"
"Yeah! Got a picture of her and my baby girl! Turns out I have a daughter... I only wished I was there when she was born."
"Don't worry, Len. She'll understand that you're here protecting her is all that matters. I'm sure she'll be happy to see ya when you get back home."
"Thanks. I appreciate it."
"Gotta go now. The colonel scheduled me and Malcolm for a night patrol. I'll see you in the morning."
"Understood. See ya later, then." Lennox waved goodbye to his best friend as the two pilots stepped into the F-22 Raptors and took off. The captain was approached by a young Qatari child named Mahfouz, who supplied him and his men.
Later tonight, Lennox and Mahfouz stared at the night sky gazing at the stars while his team rested. "Jeez, I forgot how many stars there are at night," he told the child.
"I know," the kid agreed. "I love watching them! They're so awesome!"
"Definitely. You know that I won't be here for that long. You know that right?"
"I know, Lennox. I know you'll leave me and go back to your home."
"Yeah. I have a wife back home and... I have a daughter and... I want to hold her in my arms and be a good father to her."
"Ever since we first met, you've been like a big brother to me, Lennox. I'm sure your daughter would love you very much."
"Thanks, kid."
Suddenly, the two spotted seven shooting stars in the sky. "Whoa! Look, Lennox! Shooting stars! I've never seen those before!"
"Wow. I've never seen those here before. This is a first for me." The soldier stares closely at the stars and realizes that something is wrong. "I don't think those are stars."
"What do you mean?"
"Shooting stars are supposed to go across the stars... these are heading... towards us!" Lennox immediately gets up and wakes up his team as he rushes to the command center. He rushes inside and warns Colonel Sharp, "Sir, we got a situation."
"Captain, you and your team are supposed to be resting," the colonel told him.
"Sir, you need to see the stars. Something is coming towards us."
They all rushed to the windows and noticed the seven meteors were getting closer to their base. "What in the... Okay. Alert the troops. We need everyone to be on alert about this."
"Sir," one of the soldiers warned the colonel as the meteors just crashed outside of the base.
"Lieutenant, you and your men take arms and investigate the crash. We don't know what we're dealing with. Lennox, you alert your men about the situation."
"Yes sir," Lennox nodded as he rushed off to inform his men.
Several armed humvees drove towards the crashed metal meteorites as a few troops got closer to them to investigate. "Sir, I don't think these are meteorites," the lieutenant informed his superior officer. "These orbs are all metal. I don't know what these things-"
Suddenly, the orbs slowly start to transform into giant robotic beings as the troops stood there speechless at the sight of the seven aliens. "Sir... they're not meteors... they're aliens..."
"Oh my god," the colonel gasps as he can see them from the command center.
The leader of the Cybertronians, Megatron stepped forward and greeted the soldiers with open arms, "Organic creatures of Earth. We come in peace. We come to you to preach the message of unity. Co-operation. And goodwill between our races... we are here to bring kindness and happiness..."
Suddenly, the Decepticons looked at their leader as Megatron did the same to them and all of them started to laugh. The evil tyrant formed a deadly cannon and blasted the lieutenant's humvee, killing him and a few soldiers. The troops open fire at the invaders but to no effect as Starscream and Soundwave start gunning down the earthlings. Blackout slammed to the ground releasing a deadly wave that killed the remaining troops in their area and shattered all the windows within the base.
Lennox and his men rushed to every barracks and woke everyone up so they could escape or fight back as the invaders were easily destroying anything in their path. Megatron used his flail to brutally destroy the military vehicles while his Decepticons were firing upon the humans. The colonel and his men in the communication room were trying to warn other military bases until Blackout ripped the rooftops while Soundwave fired multiple metal tentacles attached to the base monitor, downloading their secret files.
The colonel realized what the Decepticons were doing and immediately ordered his soldier, "It's going after the files! Cut the hard lines! Cut it now!"
"I need a key, it's locked," the soldier cried as he tried to open the breaker box. The colonel grabs an ax and uses all his strength to cut the line multiple times, shutting down their monitor completely. Soundwave gathers as much information as he can gather and separates from the building while Blackout eliminates the center with a single blast.
Soon, two F-22 Raptor fighters returned to the base from their patrol as they were trying to contact their base until they spotted the Decepticons destroying their base. "What the hell are those things," Anderson's partner, Philip, radioed her.
"I don't know but they're killing our men! We need to take them down," Anderson radioed back.
The two jets fired a few missiles at Megatron but to no effect. The leader of the Decepticon aimed his cannon at the fighters until Starscream stopped him by telling him, "Lord Megatron! I got them!"
The Seeker scans the F-22 Raptors as his body changes and transforms into a fighter. Soon, the other Decepticons took the opportunity to scan the military vehicles and transform them into them. Only Megatron and Soundwave kept eliminating the soldiers on the ground.
Lennox witnessed one of the aliens transform into a jet and head toward his best friend. He immediately found a radio and tried to contact the pilots. "Anderson! You got a rogue fighter on your tail," he radioed them.
The two pilots try to shake Starscream off but the Decepticon locks onto one of them and fires his missiles. It hits Philip's fighter and the jet begins crashing down as the pilot tries to regain control but it's heading toward Megatron. The leader of the Decepticons uses his flail to destroy the fighter before it could hit him, killing the pilot.
Starscream fires missiles at Anderson's jet as she tries her best to dodge the attacks. "Anderson! It's on your tail," Lennox contacted the pilot.
"I don't think I can shake him," the pilot radioed while she locked back.
Suddenly, Blackout scanned a military helicopter until he spotted the F-22 Raptor and began firing its minigun at her fighter, hitting her wings as she was losing control. "Nononono Anderson," Lennox cried. Starscream transformed and flew above her as he formed his buzzsaw then struck her cockpit, exploding the jet and killing her. "NOO!!!"
"Lennox! We need to get out of here," Epps yelled as he dragged his captain out of the attack. "She's gone! There's nothing we can do! We need to go or we'll die too!"
Lennox snapped out of it and ran off to his men until a blast sent him flying. His ears were numb as he witnessed soldiers being blasted by the Decepticons and crushed by destroyed military tanks. Suddenly, Megatron steps in front of the captain as the menacing monster stare down at the human and aims his cannon at him. Luckily, Epps fired a bazooka at the Decepticon so his leader could escape from him as the rest of the team fled among the tanks.
Megatron recovered and fired his cannon at the tanks, seemingly killing them. The Decepticons destroyed the military vehicles and erased the soldiers to leave no trace of their existence. After the invaders were finished eliminating the entire base, they regathered together after they'd scanned their new vehicle modes. "Well done, my Decepticons," the leader told his men. "I thought these creatures were going to put up a fight. They're nothing but weak pests. This world will be easy to conquer."
"Lord Megatron, I have gathered the data from the base's system before they shut it down," Soundwave informed his leader. "I have found the area that contains the glasses." The Decepticon reveals a holographic map to his leader, revealing within the suburbs in the United States.
"Well done, Soundwave!"
"Do you want me to go to the location and receive the glasses, Lord Megatron," Blackout asked while bowing before his master.
"No. Soundwave, contact Barricade to head to the location and receive the glasses. You shall rendezvous with him there."
"Affirmative."
"I congratulate you for your excellent plan of attack, Lord Megatron," Starscream bowed before his leader. "These vermin were no match against us. These creatures are easy to kill."
"Lord Megatron," Wreckage informs his leader. "I pick up fresh tracks. There are survivors."
"How is that even possible," Blackout asked.
"Possibly Starscream lets them live to ruin our search for the Allspark!"
"You're accusing me of letting these roaches live," Starscream yelled at his comrade. "How dare you-"
"ENOUGH," Megatron yelled. "You two were too busy having fun than focusing on our conquest! No one must learn of our existence until we find the Allspark!"
"Lord Megatron, isn't destroying their base already revealed our existence," Brawl asked.
"Have you read Soundwave intel? These creatures are already at war with each other. They will blame this tragedy on their enemies instead."
"And what about the survivors," Wreckage asks.
Blackout, deploy Scorponok. Let him hunt the organics."
"Yes, Lord Megatron." The giant Decepticon released a scorpion-like Decepticon as it went into the sands and dug underground.
"Decepticons! Move out! Blend among these creatures! Stay hidden until we find the Allspark! These weaklings have proven their technologies and vehicles are worthy to become my new army!"
"What will you do, Lord Megatron," Starscream asks his leader.
"I will head to our deceased Decepticon brother's last location. Hopefully, he still contains the map to the Allspark in case these worms destroy the glasses. Now go! Soon this world will be ours to conquer!"
Finally, the Decepticons transformed into their vehicle modes and spread out across the desert until they found a nearby military base. Megatron stood among the ashes and flames of the destroyed base until he found a burned soldier crawling away while screaming in agony. The evil Decepticon approached him and stepped on it brutally as he laughed before he transformed into his Cybertronian jet mode to take off.
Meanwhile, a Cybertronian enters Earth's atmosphere and crash lands within a forest near midtown Los Angeles. The being reveals to be Bumblebee as he wanders through the forest as he's being radioed by Optimus Prime, "Bumblebee, this is Prime. The glasses to the Allspark are hidden somewhere within the human settlement. The glasses are in the possession of a human named Sam Witwicky. You must reach him before the Decepticons."
Bumblebee entered a junkyard and found a damaged 1976 Chevrolet Camaro. He scans it and transforms into a better improvement vehicle until he spotted another pod entering the planet's atmosphere as it crashed further away. The Autobot immediately drives off and begins searching for the human before the Decepticons.
Within the hilltop, the Decepticon crashes into a forest. The being is revealed to be Barricade as he's wandering around the forest until he hears a police siren nearby, causing him to immediately hide. A Saleen S281 police cruiser drove up to the crash site and a police officer exited his vehicle as he approached it. While he was examining the crash site with his flashlight, the Cybertronian scanned the vehicle and formed the car parts onto his body.
"This is officer Thomson," the cop radioed in a report. "I found what appears to be a small hole in the forest. I don't know what caused it or who's responsible for it."
"It could be one of those damn teens trying to pull some sort of dumb park before the semester ends," one of the officers radioed to him.
"You want to come by the school in the morning?"
"Nah, just ignore it. If they do it again, then we'll deal with it. Just go home, Thomson. It's gonna be your day off."
"Understood. This is Officer Thomson. Signing off." When the policeman enters his vehicle, Barricade reveals himself and blasts the police cruiser, killing the officer.
The Decepticon transforms into a police car and drives off. "This is Barricade," he contacts his Decepticon allies through his communicator. "I found an Earth vehicle mode and began searching for glasses with authority."
"Excellent," Starscream responded through his radio. "We must stay ahead of the Autobots and get those glasses first. If you run into any Autobots, eliminate them."
"And if the humans have any resistance?"
"Crush them. Crush them all." Barricade obeys as he enters midtown and begins searching for the human.
