Chapter 16: Pre-Teen Bonding – Part 5

"Oh god! No! This can't be happening!" Lily said, fingers clutching her hair frantically. "This can't be happening! This wasn't supposed to happen!"

Music blasted and thumped as Kwan turned the beat up once more, trying to get the party energetic again. The dancers began flooding the dance floor once more, their body's shaking as the ground thumped with each sound beat.

As a pair of girls ran past them, excited to continue their fun, Jake looked to his date and said, "Whoa, hey, Lily, it's ok! It's not your fault."

"Jake, we need to find that necklace!" Lily stressed with wide eyes. "Bad things will happen if we don't!"

"Lily, you need to calm down," he stated, grasping her shaking shoulders to try to calm her though he could feel his own panic starting to escalate. "What's got you so freaked out?"

Before she could speak, her eyes shifted over his shoulder, before a small, terrified squeak came from her, startling him. Her voice came out in a shaking quiver as she whispered, "D-Da-Dani?"

Jake felt a strong wave that set every nerve in his spine on fire, and suddenly he also began to shake. The look on Lily's face alone was enough to tell him what he was in for, but unlike her, he could actually sense Danielle's ghostly energy behind him, making the feeling far worse.

And it was terrifying.

Slowly, Jake turned, his eyes wide in fear as he looked at his best friend, her head hanging, and eyes shadowed from his view. Her breathing was heavy, and her fists were clenched, but the thing that really terrified him was the small white glow, that only he could see, outlining her body.

"Uh," he uttered nervously, stopping to swallow the lump in his throat and shifting to put himself in front of Lily. "Hey…did you get the punch?"

"Jake…" Danielle said, her voice low though she didn't move from her spot. "I…"

"Whoa, ok, easy," he said, heartbeat starting to race as a sweat began to gather on his brow. This was gonna be bad! "Look, just take a deep breath, and let me explain."

"We…don't have time…for talking," she replied, still refusing to look at him or unclench her fists. Danielle's coherency was teetering on the edge, though Jake knew nothing of this, believing she refused to look at him out of anger. The walk across the room, something that couldn't have taken her more than 60 seconds, felt like hours as she trudged past people, occasionally bumping into someone as she swayed to keep her balance.

The sound of a chuckle rang in the back of her mind; was that her laugh? Why would she be laughing? Maybe it was the fact that had any of the teachers seen her, that'd probably assume that she had consumed alcohol and was stupidly stumbling her way into the crowd. She knew for fact that there was no force on earth or the Ghost Zone that could save her from Jazz's wrath if she got THAT phone call, and so as panic inducing as the crowd made her animal senses feel, Danielle knew which she preferred.

"You – "

"Lost the necklace, I know, and I'll find it, I swear!"

The words tumbled out of his mouth quicker than he realized, and he was once again reminded of the fact that he was always putting his foot in his mouth. His heart stopped as the realization of what he had just said and done hit not only him, but Lily and Danielle, both of whom were now staring at him.

His pupils shrank as he stared back at his partner, her irises a muted pink that was just bright enough for him to see but dull enough that if you weren't looking directly at her, you'd never notice. Jake could feel his throat grow drier as he remembered their fight from earlier and how it happened then too; first white and now pink? What was going on with her?

"What?" Danielle asked quietly, her breathing picking back up as Jake realized now that she had stopped as she tried to process what he said. Her face started to change, scrunching up as she narrowed her gaze onto him. Danielle's chest began to heave as she began to take large gulps of air, and Jake felt his throat close as he could see the signs of her preparing to roar.

If she does that, not only will our cover be blown, but she'll probably bring the whole place down! Jake thought as he felt Lily grip the back of his jacket while peering over his shoulder at Danielle. Her eyes went from Jake to Danielle, repeatedly bouncing back and forth in anxiousness while more of the crowd began to rush to the dance floor. One by one, Lily could see them in her peripheral vision, not even giving their small group a glance while person as person melded into the mass.

Danielle could feel her grip slipping; she KNEW she couldn't trust him! He screwed this up, again, and lost the damn necklace!?

"This is all HER fault!" the voice said, and Danielle couldn't help but agree as she centered in on her. If Lilith hadn't been there, none of this would have happened! "There will be NOTHING left of either of them when- "

"The necklace!" Lily shouted in disbelief as she looked toward the crowd.

"Where?!" Jake asked in shock as Danielle's attention switched to the crowd behind her, once again focusing on the artifact. Luck seemed to be on Jake's side today because it had once again saved him the fate of being crushed to death by the building around them.

The two Rangers' sight followed hers, Danielle's former anger forgotten as she and Jake scanned the people in the area. Her gaze was still hazy, but the scent trail was clear enough for her to see as it snaked its way to the back of the room. The large exit sign above the door glowed, casting someone in the shadow as the gold shined and reflected, the scent engulfing them.

"There…" Danielle growled as she hunched forward, lowering herself a bit but, thankfully, remembering to stay upright and not drop to all fours. Jake turned to look where she was but was having no luck as the strobe lights continued to conceal the identities of the partygoers.

"I don't see it…" he mumbled in frustration as his eyes darted side to side. As good as his vision was now with his powers, unless he had eyes like Danielle's, there were limits to how well their senses could increase. If he had her senses, he'd just follow that weird green and yellow smoke trail across the room to the girl under the exit sign.

Jake blinked as he realized that the world seemed to be saturating around him, all the colors fading out to a dull grey before changing back for a moment. The blonde blinked, rubbing his eyes before looking again, watching as a trail of bright green and gold smoke formed above.

The smoke looked dense, much denser than the other ones that seemed to be drifting off the various people around him. As he followed it, his eyes fell upon a blonde girl, someone from their class by the look of it, whose back pressed against the large exit doors that lead to another hallway.

His eye strained, but it didn't seem to bother him as he looked over her Mint green dress, a black bow wrapping around her waist. Her skin looked cold as ice from the lack of color, and Jake could see scales patterned up her forearms and shoulders. Her form was stiff as her mouth hung open, a top and bottom row of sharp teeth presenting themselves over her curved upper lip.

Jake swallowed as he took a step forward, only to see the girl's head shoot up and stare at them from across the room. His skin crawled at the eerie emptiness behind her eyes before a nasty hiss came from the back of her throat as her snake-like tongue shot out. Somehow, over the pounding music and sounds of people around him, Jake was able to filter it out to hear it, and looking to the side he could see Ellie had as well.

Danielle's chest was heaving in and out rapidly as she stared down the dragon possessed girl, pink eyes watching carefully for any other sudden movements. Her own fangs had extended, though they were hidden as her head was dipped low like a lion watching its prey through the brush, while her fingers twitched in anxiousness. She didn't need her Ghost Sense for this as the very existence of this creature set every nerve in her body on fire with the urge to destroy it.

Danielle could feel the blood rushing to her ears as the grey around the room started to grow brighter, though remained a single color. The once dull background world around them became vibrant once more as a single shade of red consumed everything except the girl, her body outlined in the same green and gold glow as the smoke and drawing all Danielle's focus.

Danielle's gaze never left her, but she could feel her core burning at the thought of so much blood red color covering the room. The other creatures that had upset her were long forgotten; now was not the time for the pleasure of the hunt. First, she would need to deal with the lowly creature that thought it wise to encroach on her territory.

A low rumble built in her throat as Danielle looked up, preparing to activate her ring and give a battle cry, only to stumble as a splitting headache struck her, bringing her to her knees.

"Ah!" She cried out in anguish, grabbing the sides of her head. Her palms pressed hard into the sides of her temples as the fiery throbbing made her feel as if her head were about to explode. Her ears began to ring as she could hear allow growl, the sound only making it worse, while tears of pain started to build under her closed eyelids.

"Dani!" Lily cried out dropping to her right side while Jake came down to kneel in front of her.

"Ellie," he said, worry on his face. He tried to lay a hand on her, but recoiled as she let go of her head and slammed her fists on the ground. The floor, thankfully, didn't seem to cave or shake under her strength, which meant she was still in control, but it was clear that the pain was getting to be too much for her.

Looking over his shoulder, the Green Ranger locked eyes again with the possessed person, the creature giving one more hiss before shooting off backwards into the hallway.

"Jake, we need to help her," Lily said as she tried to help Danielle sit up. Said girl refused, pushing Lily off her and grabbing Jake's jacket.

"Jake…" Ellie said, panting as her hand shook. Sweat was running down her brow and her complexion was extremely pale, worrying him, but he said nothing as she steadied herself before continuing. "You have to get that necklace, you hear me? I don't…I don't wanna hear any excuses this time…Please Jake…"

"But what about you?" he asked, not sure if leaving her in this condition was a good idea.

"Outside…" she grunted as she forced herself to look at him. Her vision was fading, getting blurry as she tried to focus on him. "I have to get outside…have to find Tucker…"

"Outside…" he mumbled, blinking before looking to Lily. "Lily, I'm sorry for what a crappy night this has been, but I need your help. Again."

"Anything, Jake," she said sincerely.

"I need you to help her get outside into fresh air. Once you do that, I need you to come back inside and find me," he said. Lily nodded, turning to Danielle, as did Jake. He stared for a moment, taking in her pink eyes, before adding, "Just hang on a little longer, ok? I'm gonna take care of this."

Jake didn't wait for either of them to say anything else before he stood up and turned, taking off full speed across the room. The adrenaline in his veins was pumping as it fueled his muscles, and Jake made quick work of making it through crowd, never letting the smoke out of his sight.

As he cleared the floor, he darted forward, shoulder slamming through the door and coming to a skid in the hallway. The lights were completely off, leaving the unused area shrouded in darkness, while the door closed, cutting off all sounds from the dance to leave a deafening silence that rang Jake's ears. As his head hung, he turned in the same direction the smoke led to, tracking it to his target.

Jake looked up, his eyes locking with the Her's as she stood silently at the other end of the hall. The green and gold smoke he had seen earlier coming from her had taken on a different shape now, forming a weird energy that was spread from the necklace as it hung around her neck and across the rest of her body.

Jake took a deep breath, feeling the smoke as it flooded his nostrils before letting out a breath, blue smoke coming from his mouth in the form of his Ghost Sense. The smell coming from this girl was like nothing he'd ever experienced before. While it was true that they had come to learn that Ghosts do in fact smell (quite unpleasantly for most part, might he add), he'd never smelled something so intensely. The smell of fire and burnt ash was heavy in the air as it mixed with the scent of the human exuding it, combing with the scent of Ghost and metal.

Staring into her red eyes, Jake flexed ring hand before clutching it into a fist. He could feel his hands shaking and grit his teeth as he felt his anger flooding every pour of his body while his ring gave a bright glow that illuminated him, shadowing the left side of his face.

"Listen, and listen good, you undead decorative doorstopper; You have been nothing but a pain in my ass all day! First, you ruin my day at the skate park, then you get me in trouble with my friends, and now, on top of possessing one of my classmates, you're hurting my best friend!" he said, narrowing his eyes at the jewelry.

The object in question gave a glow, and the possessed girl hissed as she crouched, eyes glowing fierce red before she lunged at him, claws growing from her nails.

Jake raised his hands, catching hers as she pushed him backwards, tearing up the carpet under his feet as he tried to brace himself. As he finally slowed to a stop, Jake growled, tightening his grip on the creature who tried to pull away, but found his strength more intense than expected.

The necklace glowed again, and the girl recoiled, trying not to look into his eyes as if doing so would cause pain, giving Jake an opening. Using his grip, Jake turned her hands and with a loud grunt, pulled her off her feet, startling her as she found herself lifted over his head. Jake gave a slight jump before throwing all his weight into his back, allowing him to flip her over him, and into the ground.

The floor gave a loud thud as her body impacted, and the girl gave a cry of pain as everything from her head to her tail bone hurt. Jake stifled his own groan of pain as he finally let go, turning over and lunging for the necklace, but the attempt was wasted as he was sent rolling sideways. Jake's head spun as he turned to look at her, more energy pouring off her as she brought her hand that she had used to backhand him down to help push herself up.

Getting to her feet, she hissed as she kicked her shoes at him, forcing him to jump up and back away from her. Wiping the blood from his mouth, Jake narrowed his eyes, the white glow of his irises shining in the dark as his ring continued to glow.

"I'm just getting started. And I swear, you're gonna be dust by the time I'm done!" he shouted before charging forward.

Everything hurt like hell, and she hated it. Her stomach clenched as she steadied her vision, wondering what was going on, while at the same time trying to resist vomiting from the migraine she had. Was she getting sick? Was this her body rejecting the powers of the ring all of a sudden?

"Quite the opposite, actually," a voice said.

"Who's there?" She called out, looking around her but seeing no sign of whoever she was looking for. "Come out and show yourself."

"Ironic that you'd say that" came the reply as a set of pink eyes shot open in front of hers, startling Danielle. The eyes squinted, moving about freely in the space, circling her as the world once again went dark. Danielle watched the eyes carefully, wondering if this was some kind of trick of the necklace, but was off put by the echoing laugh she heard. "HAHA! Oh, how precious you creatures are! Though, I must say, you do seem to catch on quick."

"The why don't you come out of the shadows and show yourself?" Danielle challenged. The pink eyes vanished, sending the hairs on the back of her neck standing, before a loud roar echoed around her. Danielle searched, her defiant attitude forgotten while she tried to find whoever was there. "I said show-"

A pink Jaguar lunged from the dark, a mighty glow of energy swelling around its body. Danielle jumped back, screaming in terror as-

"Danielle!" Lily shouted, shaking her shoulders.

Her voice caught in her throat as she looked around hysterically, sweat running down her face and leaving her exposed skin feeling clammy. The darkness she had seen before had been replaced by new darkness, expect this darkness she recognized. Her erratic pulse slowed a bit as she realized the sound of the music was…lower?

"Wh-wha happened?" she stammered out, shaky hands reaching behind her to feel the tree she was leaning against. The smell of the lake swept up past her, giving her a sense of something to latch onto, thankfully.

"It's ok," Lily said, letting her shoulders go gently so as not to startle her. Looking into Danielle's frightened pink eyes, she said, "After Jake took off, you were in a trance or something and you weren't responding to me. I brought you out here like he said, but then you looked like you were panicking and then you started screaming." Looking at her classmate in worry, she asked, "Dani…what's going on?"

"I…I don't know…" she said honestly. Her lower lip began to tremble as a few tears came to her eyes, which she quickly shut, pulling out of Lily's grasp. Lily looked at her, slightly hurt, but said nothing as Danielle attempted, poorly, to not look weak. "I just…"

Lily said nothing, giving Danielle a small smile as she turned around and stood up. The pink eyed girl looked up, wiping away some tears, but watched as Lily began to make her way back toward the building, only stopping to look over her shoulder and say, "I'll go and get you some water and find Jake. Just hold tight."

Danielle watched as she dashed off, making it to the building in no time, and turned away, looking at the ground sadly. Why was being so nice to her? And why did Danielle feel so guilty about it?

"Because you're weak!" the voice roared, sending a bolt of pain into her head. Danielle grabbed the sides of her head again, groaning as the world around her darkened once more.

"No! Not again!" She shouted, looking around frantically. Instincts kicking in, Danielle looked to her hand to morph, but felt a dread of disbelief as she realized her ring was missing.

"Awe, what's the matter? Where was all that bravado from earlier, girl? Don't tell me that a stupid, shiny trinket was your only source of confidence," it called as the pink panther reappeared. Its tail swayed back and forth as it walked around her in a circle, eyes watching her with careful closeness. "You certainly are a loud little meat cub, aren't you?"

"What do you want with me? And what is this place?" Danielle asked shakily, trying to stay calm though that was nearly impossible with the amount of fear she felt as well as the fact everything hurt.

The panther smirked, saying, "The pain you're feeling will subside…so long as you do as I command." At the startled look on Danielle's face, it said, "And no, we are not in the realm of that ticking time tinkerer. This place is much more…private."

"What do you mean?" Danielle asked, taking her eyes off the spirit to look around again, but still seeing nothing in the darkness, completely missing the presence of the newcomer as they floated from the forest and landed before her.

"Ellie?" Sam called, looking at her in concern as she watched the younger girl's body folding in and twicthing, clearly from pain. Kneeling, she placed a hand gently on Danielle's back, feeling her shaking even through her gloves. "Easy there, kiddo. I've got you now." Raising her left hand, Sam focused her energy, allowing it to begin to glow green. "Alright, let's see if this power is a two-way street."

Gently, Sam laid the glowing hand on the top of Danielle's head, closing her own eyes as she focused, trying to recall the feeling and force it from her hand into Danielle. The younger girl's form began to glow as the pain seemed to begin subsiding, and Sam could feel her muscles starting to relax.

Danielle blinked, the darkness around her starting to clear, brightening up and allowing her to see-

"Sam! You're here!" Danielle called out, but was cut off as the panther laughed, jumping away from her and into the tree above them.

"She can't hear you in here. No one can. You're inside your own subconscious," the panther said.

"Wait, my subconsious?" Danielle asked, looking up at the cat. "So, you mean to tell me all this pain is just in my head?"

"Well, yes, technically. But also, no," it said, its form shifting and changing once more. The once ferocious looking cat was replaced by, to her shock, what looked like another her.

"What the hell!?" Danielle shouted, her voice echoing as she stared at this other, more animalistic version of herself. Her hair was white, but unlike Danielle while in Ranger form, this animalistic Her's hair was free, not bound in a ponytail. Her Ranger suit was shredded all over, most notably the fingers which also sported pink claws that she flexed as she cracked her knuckles. Her fangs gleamed as she gave a Cheshire-like grin and her pink cat slit eyes showed danger.

"Hell would be much more pleasant of an escape for you, child, but you're not going to be that lucky."

"Why do you have my face and look like me? Is this some kinda negative feedback from my brain that's rejecting the ring or something? And where is my ring?" Danielle asked, noticing that Sam had stopped moving, as had the world around them. "What's happening here?"

"It's really quite simple. I'm you. The REAL you. The you that comes out when you're angry, or sad, or desire to tear something apart. But you can call me, Id."

"Wait, you mean YOU'RE the reason my friends and brother think I'm an uncontrollable monster!? Danielle shouted, eyes suddenly glowing green. The grin fell from Id's face, and in an instant, her eyes flashed, and the world around began to rumble before a pink collar shot out from under Danielle. The girl had no time to react as the collar, formed of the same pink energy she'd seem coming from Id, clamped forcefully around her throat.

Two chains sprang up, gripping around her wrists as a force yanked her, bringing her to her knees. Danielle strained as she tried to lift her head or stand but couldn't as her muscles felt too heavy to even try.

"I can't move…" she mumbled as a pair of destroyed white boots came into in her sight.

"Look at me," Id commanded, and the weight was suddenly lifted from Danielle's neck, allowing her to look up though she almost wished she hadn't as she came face to face with a terrifying roar. As she quieted down, Id sneered at Danielle who shook in fright. Raising one of her sharp claws, she traced Danielle's chin, going up the side of her face to grab her head and hold it still. "You are weak. You don't have the stomach, the backbone or the drive to use this power. To use MY power."

"You…your power?"

"That's right. I'm the source of all the animal instincts, impulses and senses that have kept you alive. I've been the one doing it. I've been the one trying to push you to be strong, but instead, you tried to silence me at every turn. Well, no more." Id gave a turn, looking out into the world around them before her eyes gave a glow as the world seemed to start moving again, Sam coming back to life.

Danielle's eyes grew wide as she realized what was happening, shouting "Help! Sam!, Tucker! Danny!..." her voice caught as more tears began to run down her face, sparkling as they reflected the whites of her irises. "Jake…help me…please…"

"Jake…help me…please…" the echo rang, distracting him and resulting in a very painful smash into the wall.

Jake groaned as he turned over, holding his left rib cage and breathing heavily as he glared at the possessed girl. She was tough, he had to admit, and though this would be a hell of a lot easier if he morphed, they were told to hold off unless the possessed person turned into the dragon.

Said possessed girl crawled, her claws digging into the wall behind her as she roared at him. Jake stood back up straight, wiping the sweat from his forehead with the sleeve of his dress shirt. His jacket had long ago been discarded, and was now in shreds on the floor, but he figured Sam would prefer that it be the one in pieces instead of him.

"What the hell was that?" he mumbled to himself. "It sounded like Ellie…and she sounds like she's in trouble." His thoughts were cut short as the girl reared her head back, a green light building up in her mouth. Before he could react, a huge ball of fire engulfed the hall, consuming him as he cried out. "AHHHH!"

The dragon girl stopped her breathing to investigate, hoping to have been relieved of this pest, but quickly dashed off the wall, narrowly escaping a blue disc that exploded on the wall where she'd just been. Landing in a crouch, she looked around for the source of the attack, and pressed her back against the window as she caught sight of wisp of black smoke as it swirled around and passed over the fire. A reptilian hiss came from the girl followed by a crash as she launched herself toward the outside. The smoke gave quick chase, shooting out of the hole and into the night air.

Tucker popped back into visibility, taking his eyes away from the window to look at the large amounts of green fire.

"Jake, you ok?" he called. A green vortex popped into existence before him and Tucker watched as all the fire around it was sucked into it, collapsing into Jake's ring as he held his hand open in his starting morph pose. As the fire cleared, he heaved a sigh of relief, hands dropping onto his knees.

"Yeah, barely," he said. "You guys sure took your sweet time getting here after I called. Good thing I'm basically fireproof with my ring, or else I'd have been cooked." Looking around, he asked, "Where'd she go?"

"Danny just chased her outside, so we need to go help him-"Tucker stopped as their Phantom Phones began to ring, Sam's tone reaching them. Both Rangers activated their communicators as Tucker said, "Sam? What's wrong?"

"Danielle's lost her mind, that's what wrong!" Sam shouted, a roar echoing in the background before a loud crash could be heard. "Tucker, is there any way to know if that ID thing you were talking about earlier took over?"

"ID? What are you guys talking about?" Jake asked, looking at him. "Did you guys know this was gonna happen and not tell us?"

"We'll have to give you the details later, but the short version is, Danielle's powers are going out of control and-"Once more, he was cut short as the ground began to rumble and another, louder roar could be heard as well as a large beam of light shooting up into the sky, growing by the second.

"Oh, you better be joking right now…" Sam said before a chime came and Danny's voice could be heard.

"Ok, so worst case scenario has now become a reality!" The Black ranger said, flying up to meet the dragon in the face as it finished transforming. "We need to think of a plan people, or else this is about to get a whole lot worse."

"Well, I'm all ears, but I'd also prefer a solution be thought of quickly because this is getting a bit out of hand!" Sam replied as she deflected another pink ecto blast with her whip as it shot from Danielle's mouth. Sam stood on guard as she looked at the torn dress she had bought, as well as the ruined hair and make-up on her young teammate. Her heart hurt for Ellie as she watched her dig her clawed hands into the dirt, using the grip to charge again. Jumping up into the air, Sam said, "We can't fight Ellie and this dragon at the same time, so one of them is gonna need to be dealt with ASAP."

"Looks like we've got no other option," Danny said. "Tucker!"

"What's the plan, dude?" the Blue Ranger replied, visor coming to life.

"Give Jake all the information you have on controlling Danielle's impulses and then get to work on evacuating the building. Jake, I know this is gonna be asking a lot right now, but we need you to figure out how to stop Danielle, at least until Sam and I can deal with this dragon."

"Wait, what are you guys talking about? What do you mean "control" her? Do you know who you're talking about?" The blonde boy said, though his questions we ignored as Tucker typed a few buttons on his PDA and Sam and Danny's voices cut out. Jake's Phantom Phones gave a green glow before his phone beeped, prompting him to pull it from his pocket. Their logo flashed on the screen before the words "Hello Jake" popped up.

"That's all the information that I could find on such short notice. I haven't been able to go through it, but I'm sure there's something in there about it," Tucker said, preparing to make his way into the main hall. "I'm gonna find a way to get everyone out of here."

"Oh, I think I've got an idea…" Jake said, looking to his right. Tucker followed his line of sight, smirking as he saw and gave him a thumbs up before vanishing. Jake, hoping over the remaining flames, rushed for the main door to the dance, opening it forcefully. A few kids turned toward the noise as the door was opened, looking at him in confusion. Jake took a deep breath before cupping his hands and shouting "FIRE!" as loud as he could. With a swift turn, he gave the fire alarm next to the door a yank, sending the entire building into a frenzy.

White strobe lights flashed as a loud alarm blared, cutting off the music that had been playing. Water descended from the sprinklers above, dousing the party as well as the guests who all screamed as they rushed to cover themselves as well as reach the exit.

Jake had taken off long ago, already having phased through the wall and broken out into a full-on sprint toward the forest. Pink explosions fired off as the ground shook from the dual battlers going on and almost in tandem, he could hear two mighty roars, but ignore the closer, louder one behind him.

Jake grit his teeth; Ellie needed him now more than ever and he wasn't gonna fail her.

As he passed the tree line, the building disappeared from behind him, and with a cry of "Ancient Spirit, hear my call, ARISE!", Jake was engulfed in green fire, shooting forward like a bullet, eyes glowing white as he flew off to save his best friend.

To be continued…
