Later that day, I finally returned home after exploring the forest for a bit. The sun was setting and after having that encounter before, I didn't want to risk it and just returned before dark.

So after returning to the town as the sun was just beneath the shoreline, I walked home.

Not many were out as I opened the door to my housing unit and walked in to see my team. Scorch was already passed out along with everyone else other then Cloud. She appeared to be working on some kind of crossbow. This confused me since I hadn't seen any weapons here until now.

Shaymin: Uh… Cloud…?

I didn't get much of a reply. She just simply grunted.

Shaymin: Where did you get that?

Cloud: Bought it… Why do you care?

Looking the side with my ears lowered, I just mumbled softly and walked to my room. Cloud had quite an annoyed tone in her voice, so I didn't want her to get angry. I just decided to leave her to work on that as I laid in my bed and stared up.

Shaymin: So the festival is in a week… I kinda wonder what it'd be like. Sounds… Like a lot of Pokemon will be around…

Shivering softly, I turned to my side and closed my eyes.

Shaymin: O- oh well… I guess I'll just try and deal with it…

I closed my eyes slowly and drifted off to sleep.

Cherry Blossom Lake

Laying on the soft grass, I stared up as cherry blossoms rained gently down. It was quiet. Far away from anything. It was so peaceful as I kept looking up. I slowly reached my paw out and took a single pinkish leaf.

Shaymin: Mew always loved these types of trees… Maybe I can use my gardening skills to try and grow a tiny one for her…

Letting go of it, I watched as it blew away with the wind. As I watched it, I heard something from behind. Soft rustling. I quickly looked back and noticed Xerneas. He rolled his eyes upon seeing me and walked up closer.

Xerneas: You are still here? I don't mind visitors in my garden, but it is getting late and I must be cleaning.

Shaymin: S- sorry…

Xerneas narrowed his eyes and groaned, stomping up to me. After getting three or four feet away, he pretty much towered over me as he glared down at me.

Xerneas: What is up with you? You hadn't been the same for a few months already. Is it because of Mew?

Shaymin: Huh?

He lowered his head and using his horns, he picked me up and flung me onto his back. He then turned back and started walking towards the entrance.

Xerneas: Is it because of Mew? I've noticed you act odd around her every time I see you two together.

Sighing softly and laying on his back, I spoke.

Shaymin: I'm…

Stopping, I looked to the side. This made Xerneas sigh and shook his head.

Xerneas: It certainly looks like you are into her.

Tensing gently, I shook my head.

Xerneas: Don't deny it. How about you just tell her your feelings? At least it will stop daily visits from here I bet.

Shaymin: N- no. It's… Not like that…

Xerneas: Are you sure? Ugh… Here, take this.

He went to a nearby tree and took something from a branch. He then gave it to me. I slowly took it and looked at it. It was a solid gold bracelet.

Xerneas: I remember Cobalion giving me this. And I heard Mew enjoy stuff like this… So just give it to her, alright?

Slowly nodding, I kept the bracelet close and was still slightly confused to why he gave me it. I didn't really question it though. I just kept it close to me as Xerneas reached the entrance of his garden and placing me down.

Xerneas: Now, go and leave for tonight. I have much needed work to get done.

Shaymin: O- okay… Thanks…

Turning around, I walked out and after leaving the garden, I took the bracelet out and stared at it. Inhaling, I looked forward and started walking home.

Current Day
10:00 AM
Outside Plaza

The next morning was here as I explored the plaza zone. It was already decorated with all kinds of festival stuff. Streamers, carts full of goods, and all kinds of stuff.

Despite the festival being six days away, they were already working it out. This also went on for the next few days.

Each day, more and more stuff was put together. It looked very nice honestly, but there was so many Pokemon. It did make me nervous, but I tried my best to keep my composure.

So after three days remain, I was sitting at the bar. Saz was quite busy with Pokemon and I just sat in a dark corner, away from everyone while eating some cake that they gave out to celebrate the upcoming festival.

While sitting there, I saw Nira walking up to me. He sat down and yawned.

Nira: Damn, I'm tired. But, err, I have something to ask you.

Tilting my head, he motioned towards the piano.

Nira: I think the festival can do with some music. Since you are pretty good with piano… How about you give a performance during the festival day?

Shaymin: U- uh…

Nira: Oh, right. You don't do good with crowds. Don't worry, I am sure you can do it. I'll be playing my own keyboard piano as a backup. So I'll be there for you. Since, err… This is a duo and I didn't find anyone with piano skills.

Shaymin: Well, um… I- if you can't find anyone… Then, yeah, I'll try and do it…

Nira smiled and nodded and got up.

Nira: Sweet. I'll try and get something set up for our performance.

I nodded gently and sat back into the seat for another hour or so before getting up and leaving.

The town was so busy with a lot of foot traffic. I actually didn't know this town had so many Pokemon in it. I only saw a max of 50 or so around. Some Pokemon had to be from other towns or nearby since it felt like there were well over 200. It was pretty tough to move in certain places and it didn't help that I got looks of surprise and all.

But while continuing to push through the crowd, I finally got to a less populated area. But while walking, I was stopped by someone placing their paw on my shoulder. This made me tense slightly as I turned around, however I sighed in relief when I saw Bolt.

Bolt: Glad I found you. It appears that Autumn requires you to stop by. Your team along with two others were already notified.

Shaymin: O- oh, um. Okay.

Bolt started leading me to the guild house and upon entering, I noticed my team and two other just like she said. A few minutes later, I noticed that these two teams of five were Team Crystal and Team Space. For a bit more info, Team Crystal's leader was a red Buizel. His members were a Vaporeon, Dusk Lycanroc, Purple Meowstic and a Nickit.

Now for Team Space, the leader appeared to be an odd colored Raichu. By this, I meant he was splashed with colors. Red ears, blue eyes, orange markings, purple tail, pink feet and paws and most of his body was cream, gray and green. It was very strange but looked pretty cool. But his teammates were somewhat normal. A Lucario, Vulpix, Zigzagoon and Persian.

So as I walked up to them, Autumn stared at me and nodded.

Autumn: Ah, perfect. The entire squad of three is here. Now, don't worry… I requested teams of three, so it's isn't just you. I just found it easier to request three teams at a time instead of trying to make an announcement in such a crowded area…

Autumn walked to the side and opened some cabinets. He searched through it for a second before pulling a folder out and walking back, placing it on the table.

Autumn: Okay… Now, the festival is just about here. You three did your required objectives, so thanks for that. But there is one more task for the three of the leaders here.

Opening the folder, he proceeded to remove three different papers assigned to us. The three of us picked them up as I looked at it.

Autumn: You only have 24 hours. So try and get this done. But that is all. I shall seek you three out tomorrow at the same time.

We accepted this as he dismissed us. The other two teams left as my team walked up.

Scorch: Huh. I wonder what this is.

I looked at it and tilted my head.

Shaymin: I- it says… We need to make a special banner…?

Cloud: Ugh… Figured… This was our final task the last few times…

Shock: Yeah, um… Sorry. I make banners for fun.

Shaymin: Didn't uh, tell me about that.

Shock: Sorry about that. I don't often make them other then this festival. But don't worry…! I can make it quickly and have it done by tomorrow.

I nodded and gave him the paper. He looked over it and nodded.

Shock: Yep, this should be easy.

He then quickly left, leaving us there.

Cloud: Hmm… Alright, I'm going to sleep.

Cloud then left.

Ember: Well then. I'll be off then as well.

Soon it was just Scorch and I. He looked at me and gently shrugged.

Scorch: Eh, we don't gotta worry. Shock works very quickly on these projects. Anyways, I'm gonna go out and play a sports game with some others.

With no one left around, I decided to just take a walk. There was a nice beach nearby, so that's where I went.

When I reached the beach about ten minutes later, it was pretty nice. The sun was bright and pretty warm and I found a nice spot to sit and watch the ocean. I sat there for a few minutes before noticing something glittering on the shore. This interested me as I crawled up to the shimmer. They were seashells. I took a couple and smiled softly.

Shaymin: Been a while since I saw seashells… Guess that's one thing I miss while living in the mountains. I hope Mew still has that seashell charm I made…

Smiling still, I started collecting them around the shore. All kinds of shapes and colors.

While collecting them, I noticed some fishing line. It appeared to be discarded there so I took it and continued collecting some more seashells. After finding enough, I sat back down and started making myself my own necklace. It took about half an hour, but I managed to make it with the same skills that I had all that time ago. At least I still knew how to craft such a necklace.

I slowly placed it around my neck and smiled lightly. I stared out at the massive ocean, soaking in the sunlight.

But after a bit of time there, I decided to get up and return to the town. It was starting to get a little late at this point and the town was still packed full of Pokemon just enjoying themselves. I gently took a hold of my necklace, feeling a little more at ease with it. I don't know why, I just feel a little better with it. Maybe it made me feel closer to Mew. I don't know. But after getting through the crowd, I walked into the house. Shock was hard at work, already designing the banner.

Shaymin: J- jeez… He is fast…

I didn't want to bother him since he looked so focus. So I just went and did my own things for a bit. The day continued and once night fell, I got into my bed and stretched out and I closed my eyes to fall asleep...
