After the fireworks show, we returned back to the town. I looked out at sea where Sky flew off at. It was just a black void it felt like. The moon glittered across the water and there were no sight of Sky. I shrugged and turned back to follow my team back.

Scorch: That was an awesome display. I'm just wondering who brought in that massive firework.

Shaymin: Y- yeah…

Looking to the side, I didn't really want to tell them about Sky. Scorch smiled and suddenly ran up to the town while the rest of us kept walking normally.

Cloud: Hmm… I guess it was pretty impressive. Better then last year.

Shock: Yep. Though I feel tired… I might just end up going home.

Ember: Sounds good. Guess I'll stick around the plaza for a bit then return home too.

Shaymin: I'll join everyone soon. I, uh, kinda want to visit somewhere first.

Shock: Alright. See you later then.

I broke off from the others and started walking along the dark beach. Torches only lit the way. I ended up pulling one from the sand and began walking with it for a constant light source. With torch in paw, I started walking up the path to the mountain once more. I had something I wanted to give Sky. If it is true, then I should get good luck. Maybe some luck with finding Mew once more.

So once I got to the top, I walked to the shrine and noticed Sky laying on top of it. He was staring at the stars above until I made some noise and he looked to me.

Sky: Hmm? Quite late to be making visits. Don't you know that it's dangerous at night? Especially for someone like you.

Shaymin: Sorry… I always enjoyed walking at nighttime when I lived alone.

Sky nodded and stretched. I walked up and pulled out a bag. He gave me a quick glance and tilted his head.

Sky: What's this?

Shaymin: Oh, um… It's some kind of candy mix.

Sky got down from the shrine and took it quickly.

Sky: Sweet. Looks like there is even caramel, even better. Um, thanks.

He then stashed it away in a nearby tree trunk or something. He then walked up to me and looked down to the town that glowed like a beacon. It was pretty nice to look at but Sky sighed and shook his head.

Sky: Hmm… Would be nice going to my own festival. But I rather stay hidden… Dealing with dangers. Guess I kinda owe them.

Looking to the amulet that hung from his horn, I tilted my head. I didn't want to really ask him about his past since it seemed to make him sad. So I just kept quiet as he stared down for a bit. After a bit, I decided that I should return. Sky agreed with this and walked back to the shrine. When I looked back moments after he left my vision, he was just gone. Disappeared without a trace.

Shaymin: How… Does he do that so silently…?

Slowly turning back, I walked down the mountain and returned to the town and was stopped by Nira. He smiled at me and lead me to the plaza.

Nira: Perfect timing. I just set up our little stage for some music. You didn't forget, right?

Shaking my head, he smiled again and walked me up to the stage.

Sitting down in front of the piano, I stared at it and closed my eyes before inhaling. I felt half of the town stare at me. It made me feel so nervous but I tried focusing on the piano. I reached out and started playing. Nira played alongside me.

We started playing together as the night went on. I continued to play for a good while. It was soothing but still felt myself shake gently from it. So many were looking at me, but I kept playing and tried ignoring it. When we finished about 30 minutes later, I sat there and everything seemed to enjoy it, hearing clapping and soft voices.

Sitting there, I had my eyes closed but was gently shook by Nira as he chuckled.

Nira: Not bad, eh? Thought I was the only pianist for the longest time.

Shaymin: Yeah… I- it was fun…

Nira nodded and smiled. Autumn then walked up and looked at me.

Autumn: Hmm… That wasn't half bad. But I kinda need to speak to you.

Shaymin: Me…? O- okay.

Autumn: Actually, both of you. Lets go somewhere more quiet.

We both followed Autumn as he lead us towards an empty part of the town. When we were out of sight of everyone, he turned back to us and stared for a moment.

Autumn: Okay. Now, there is a slight issue that I need you two to handle.

Nira: I think I already know what this is about. What happened to asking Saz?

Autumn: He is too busy… You two seem to be able to handle it however.

Nira rolled his eyes and looked over to me.

Nira: Looks like we're going on a trip tonight…

I was a little confused. Nira just motioned to the side and shrugged.

Nira: Eh, it shouldn't be too hard… Autumn just needs us to check something.

Nira walked me to the bar and soon came out with a flashlight.

Shaymin: Um… I thought you can glow using your rings.

Nira: Heh… This is why this flashlight is for you.

He handed me the flashlight as I took it. He then motioned to follow as we left Hexa and entered the pitch black forest. I somewhat stood behind Nira with the flashlight shining through the darkness. Nira didn't really speak while we walked. I was still confused however to why we were out here. Last time I was out here, some weird stuff happened and I didn't really want that to happen again.

Shaymin: So, um… What are we suppose to do here?

Nira: Don't worry about it. Autumn just has some stuff nearby that we need to check.

Nodding slowly, we continued to walk in silence. Nira stopped after a moment at a rock and crouched down. I stood by while he checked around it. The wind blew softly as leaves rustled.

Nira: Hmm. Odd.

Looking at him, he stood up with a strange looking symbol.

Nira: This isn't suppose to be here.

He then looked closer at it.

Nira: Hmm… Sleek black steel. I've never seen this symbol either. This is certainly strange. Autumn won't be happy to hear this. He may know what this is though…

He looked at me.

Nira: Anyways, lets head back.

Nira and I somewhat jogged back as Nira looked around. He was somewhat acting strange but I didn't bother asking, I just kept following until we were back at the town. Once we reached Hexa, Nira looked at me and just told me he'll take care of it before running off.

With nothing more to do, I walked back home.

Mt. Platinum

The snow fell quite harshly as I tried keeping warm. This blizzard wasn't going to end anytime soon and it wasn't a fun time. I was laying in my bed and Mew came in after starting a fire in the fireplace. She sat on the bed and stretched.

Mew: I never really experienced such a snowstorm.

Shaymin: Y- yeah. First time it was this bad.

She nodded and grabbed a book before laying against me.

Mew: Heh… You still feel quite soft from that spa visit.

Shaymin: Yeah.

Mew: I'm just hoping the worker at the main counter is okay, heh. Seems like we gave him a heart attack just about when we walked in.

Shaymin: M- makes sense. Not everyday two legendary comes walking in.

Mew nodded and wagged her tail, laying her head on my stomach and started reading. She looked outside the window and the snow fell heavily still.

Mew: This sucks. But hmm… Lets hope it clears soon.

I slowly wrapped my arms around Mew and placed her on my chest, slightly snuggling her.

Mew: What's this? Hehe.

Mew smiled and sat there, starting to read while I watched the snow fall.

The next morning came and I awoke. I felt so tired from the long night. I stood up and stretched. Looking down, I grabbed my bag and yawned.

Walking out into the living room, I only noticed Scorch and Cloud working on their own things. I walked by them and went to the door. When I opened it, I nearly ran into Bolt who was just about to knock. Her sudden appearance made me jump back as she somewhat giggled.

Bolt: Perfect timing. I wanted to come ask you something.

Scorch walked up behind me and stared.

Bolt: Would you like to come with me to Crystal Falls?

Shaymin: Huh…?

Bolt: Autumn wanted me to take a few teams to this waterfall. Mainly the new teams.

Scorch: Oh, sure. That sounds fun. I remember hearing of this place. It's like a massive waterfall with many flowing streams and a large lake at the base.

She looked and nodded.

Shaymin: Uh… I guess it'd be nice… I'm more comfortable in the wilderness anyways.

Bolt: Perfect. I'll come by in a few minutes to collect you.

Bolt smiled and walked away as I closed the door.

Shaymin: W- well then…

Scorch: Too bad the others aren't here. They left earlier to visit another city for some kind of reason… Oh well. I'll just leave them a note.

He walked off a brought out a notepad. While he writes, I just walked around and stepped towards Cloud. She was working on something as she growled in annoyance.

Cloud: Stupid shit…

Cloud looked at me and narrowed her eyes.

Cloud: What?

Stepping back slowly, I looked away.

Shaymin: Uh, s- sorry… What are you working on?

Cloud: I'm fixing this phone…

Shaymin: Oh…

Looking down, I backed up and just sat at the table as Scorch finished the note and put it somewhere where it was visible.

After a moment upon doing so, I heard a knock from the door as Scorch opened it. Bolt walked in and looked at us.

Bolt: We're ready. Come on…!

She turned back and stepped out as I got my bag and followed Scorch into the busy street.

Bolt: Alright, good. We are all here now. Come on, follow me.

Bolt started walking off as we followed. We left the town and took about two hours to reach the waterfall. Those two hours were spent in silence as Bolt followed a map. Upon reaching the waterfall, she started looking around.

Bolt: Ah, perfect. This place will do.

Bolt started splitting us apart and we had four teams with three or four Pokemon each other then us as we were a team of two.

Bolt: Okay… Team Moon, Team Savior, Team Ivy and Team Xi.

She looked up and smiled.

Bolt: Autumn tasked me to bring you all here for training. With recent events… He wants to make sure newer members are able to handle things themselves.

She walked to the water and stared out.

Bolt: Some may already know that for some unknown reason… A strange new team appeared around Hexa. Luckily no previous members of Hexa, but err… They seem kinda dangerous. Just this year, many of our teams including randoms who visit were attacked and robbed. Sadly some were seriously injured. Luckily no deaths so far… Autumn of course wants me to teach you the landscape and all. Most of you were far from here, so… I just wanna make sure you know the lands in case this strange team attacks.

She looked up and tilted her head.

Bolt: Well damn. Dark clouds rolling in. That came out of nowhere… Oh well, lets get started, shall we?

We then started to scout the land...
