Author's Note:

In terms of the word count (not including this author's note), this is the shortest chapter I've written since 265. That was in early 2021 - over a year ago! Felt oddly compelled to mention that. Hopping right into the reviews:

"Kirby's Dream Buffet is coming on August 17! Just wanna tell you that. Maybe you can have some inspiration from it."

The Dream Buffet is finally on the Switch! Frankly, I couldn't think of a Kirby-related subplot for this chapter. Another anonymous review:

"Is Pit gonna be less dumb or will he stay dumb?"

He will be less dumb. Trying to limit the dumb moments from him going forward. One more anonymous review:

"Will the cast of multiversus and all star brawl appear in the story as the neighbors to the smash cast?"

I'm afraid not. A JRPG enjoyer has a question about Ocotpath Traveler:

"Glad that you started having the Octopath guys. It's only Primrose and Alfyn, but a good start. So I'll take it that you'll be having the three other groups in the future? Therion and H'aanit, Tressa and Olberic, and Ophilia and Cyrus? Hope you do well with them."

Yes, I'll gradually introduce the other Octopath characters in the future, but as duos. It'll be much easier for me. David with questions:

"Has the Happy Mask Salesman made any appearances? Are the Metal Slug characters gonna appear much later due to Metal Slug Tactics being delayed until 2023? Any Majora's Mask characters like Cremia and Romani showing up to hang out with Young Link? A scene of Alm and Celica hilariously apologizing to Chrom for their descendant Walhart causing problems? (He took Alm's ideals way to the extreme). Will Terry and Blue Mary ever confess their love to each other? And finally, with Kevin Owens burying Ezekiel, do you think we'll see Elias return? And do you think Roman Reigns being part time and missing events is a repeat of what Brock Lesnar did? (Eat. Sleep. No show. Repeat)."

He has not made any appearances. Metal Slug characters may appear much later. No plans for any Majora's Mask characters as of now. Alm and Delica may apologize to Chrom. Won't be much romantic action between Terry and Blue Mary. We're definitely getting an Elias return. As for Roman Reigns, I don't think his part-time schedule is nearly a repeat of Brock's, but at least he has the Usos around to remind people of his existence. Last is The Reader:

"Well, we got our official release date of Life Is Strange: Arcadia Bay Collection. It's September 27. Maybe it's time to bring Max back, and also you can try and have Chloe (who isn't actually dead) appear too. Because you can't have Max without Chloe!"

I feel so foolish for thinking that Chloe was dead. But since she's alive, she'll pop up in the September 27th chapter. Time for another trip to Arcadia Bay!

Episode 348: Shelter

Believe it or not, Bowser Jr. harbored a small crush on Yukiko. A very small crush. It was something that for some reason irked Bowser, who - believe it or not - attended a Valentine's Day party with Yukiko as his valentine. Futaba was the other Persona gal unfortunate enough to be Bowser's Valentine's Day "date".

Now that isn't to say that Bowser Jr. is public with his love for Yukiko, per se. Deep down the young Koopa knew about the stigma that came with a turtle creature being in love with a human. Bowser did little to improve that stigma, thanks to his own misguided actions. But whenever the chance to hang out with Yukiko ever presented itself, Bowser Jr. was always there to take a hold of it.

Such as was the case when Yukiko was in her room watching television. Although the young woman didn't ask for any company over, that certainly didn't stop Bowser Jr. from stopping by her room and spending some quality time with her. Yukiko, who didn't mind Bowser Jr. as much as his siblings, didn't say a word.

"What do we do, Chadley?" the female protagonist of the movie that Yukiko was watching (whose name was Trixandra) said to the male protagonist, Chadley. "I thought they were dead!"

"Far worse, Trixandra!" replied Chadley, with a remarkable amount of fear in his voice. "They're...Nearly Almost Dead But Not Quite!" Trixandra let out a scream fitting for a horror movie, as the title card "Nearly Almost Dead But Not Quite" appeared on the television screen.

"Man, these movies are a lot less scary when you've actually fought real zombies," Bowser Jr. said to Yukiko, as he had fond memories of battling the zombies that wreaked havoc in episode 178. Also remembered the Mario Bros' karaoke session just as fondly.

"They're slow! Just power-walk away from them!" Yukiko shouted at the television screen, not a fan of how Trixandra and Chadley were dealing with the slow-moving zombies. Characters in horror movies weren't exactly the most intelligent creatures in fiction.

"How much you want to bet that guy dies first?" Bowser Jr. asked Yukiko as he poked her with his elbow - and soon enough, the sound of a zombie chomping away was heard. Bowser Jr. must be right on the money.

"Aah! My face is being eaten a lot!" screamed Chadley, whose face was being eaten by a zombie, as Bowser Jr. and Yukiko both laughed at his plight. Laughing at a man getting his face eaten...such heartless monsters.

"Chadley isn't pretty anymore," remarked Yukiko, as she heard her phone buzzing away. "One second." The young woman pulled out her phone and groaned when she saw the text message. "Ugh, another text from Yu!"

"Oh, yeah! Yu. How's, uh, how's all that going?" asked Bowser Jr; if Yu was still dating Yukiko, Bowser Jr. would beat the young man to a pulp just to get one step closer to the woman of his dreams.

"Ugh, I'm over him, I just wish that he would leave me alone! Just look at these texts." Yukiko showed Bowser Jr. her phone, showing Yu's text which consisted of a semicolon and a parentheses bracket. "Winky frown? What does that even mean?"

Yu: I know that Yukiko and I have broken up and all, but every now and then I send Yukiko a text message to ease the awkwardness between us. Anything to get our friendly bond back to where it used to be. *looks at the text message he sent to Yukiko* I just hope that I'm doing it right...

"And you're not..." said Bowser Jr before pausing as he made a small cough, ready to shoot his shot. "...not like seeing any other guys or..."

"Of course I am," replied Yukiko, as Bowser Jr. was devastated beyond words; his dreams were crushed in an instant. "Meet my new boyfriend." Yukiko pulled out a plush walrus and hugged it tightly, as Bowser Jr. laughed his devastation away.

"Right, right." Then Bowser Jr started to laugh nervously, as he was ready to shoot his shot a second time. "So, I was wondering if maybe you wanted to maybe if, you know, you and me, whatever. I mean if maybe you...wanted to join me and the bandicoots on a scavenger hunt today? Looking for stuff and all that? That's all."

"Yeah. I love doing stuff with friends." Did Yukiko refer to Bowser Jr. as a friend? Bowser Jr smiled, as Yukiko turned her attention to the television. "Chadley, watch out!

"Yeah, 'cause that's what we are. It's all we'll ever be. Friends..." Bowser Jr. took out a note - one that he had written about confessing his crush on Yukiko - as he took a look at it. The young Koopa then crumpled up said note and stuck it underneath his bib, as he laid back on Yukiko's bed.

"Um, Bowser Jr? you're laying on my bra." As soon as Bowser Jr. noticed, the young Koopa screamed and hopped right off of Yukiko's bed.

Samus: Welp, it's now official...Master Hand's aware that Dimentio's back. Showed him the security footage from a few weeks ago, and now he's on alert. Not on high alert, but just on alert. Got no clue when he'll take it seriously.

Going through the security footage late last night, Samus saw Magolor lurking around the mansion. The bounty hunter was convinced that Magolor hadn't left, so she asked Link and Zelda to find the alien. And Link and Zelda, well, they delegated that task to someone else.

"Thank you all for your willingness to search for Magolor," Link offered his thanks to the group of Mario, Spyro, Hunter, Fox, and Falco. The five were standing in the hallway, tasked to hunt down Magolor.

"Hey, when you need a job done, you can count on Star Fox...dun," said Falco as she tried to make a rhyme, only to fail. It was an A for effort, as Fox gave Falco a high-five.

"That's an amazing rhyme," laughed Hunter, who wanted to show off some of his own rhyming skills. Here goes nothing. "When you want some, good...when you need a Hunter, you...aw man, I don't know."

"Don't be such a tryhard," Spyro said to Hunter, as Link and Zelda both walked away; Hunter's crappy rhyme most likely prompted the couple to leave. "Ready to get started, Mario?"

"You betcha!" replied Mario, as he looked at Fox and Falco and saw that they were equipped with their Blasters. "Do I get a cool-looking gun-a too?"

"Um, sure...depends on how much you're offering," replied Fox, willing to drive up the price as much as possible. Mario started off small as he offered Fox his credit card. "Oh, we don't take credit."

"Oh it's fine, this credit card's past-a expired. Just need some-a one to cut it up for me."

A few episodes ago, a group of six folks from Aionios was at the beach while the residents were vacationing. Those six individuals? Noah, Mio, Eunie, Taion, Lanz, and Sena, all of whom were vacationing themselves just to get away from the conflict taking place in their homeland.

The six mingled with the residents for a bit while they were down at the beach. For instance, Mio spoke with Leaf, who revealed that there was a Gormotti living at the mansion in Nia. That conversation Leaf had got the Pokemon trainer thinking, as she entertained the thought of giving Nia a big surprise.

"I'll never understand why she wanted us to be here," Nia said to Dromarch, as the two were inside Cafe Leblanc sitting at the counter. Other than Dromarch, Nia also had Rex, Pyra, and Mythra to keep her company.

"Whoever's coming to see us, I hope that it isn't Zeke," said Mythra, fingers crossed that she wouldn't see the face of the Crown Prince of Tantal for the rest of the year. She couldn't stand Zeke's shenanigans during the Canada Day festivities.

"Anyone care for a cup of coffee?" Pit asked Mythra and company as he offered them a piping hot cup of coffee. "It's peppermint-flavored!" For the most part, the coffee didn't look suspect...which didn't say a lot.

"Eh, worth a shot," replied Rex as he took the coffee from Pit and drink it...only to spit out the contents literally seconds later. "Blegh! This is some awfully bitter peppermint!"

"Oops, I meant to clarify...it's pepper mint-flavored, hehe." Clearly, Rex was not a fan, as he wiped his mouth and gave the cup of coffee back to Pit. Pit accepted the coffee and drank the entire gulp without hesitation.

Bowser Jr. was ready to embark upon his scavenger hunt, as he stood with Sonic, Conker, Crash, Coco, Crunch, Aku, and Tails in the mansion's backyard. Everybody was preparing for the hunt, with Sonic and Coco stretching their arms and Crash...picking his nose.

"Wish that Knuckles could join us," said Tails, believing that the scavenger hunt would be a more fun experience if Knuckles was involved. "But you'd make for a great substitute, Bowser Jr!"

"Thanks, Tails, I sure do appreciate it..." replied Bowser Jr, who was on the lookout for a certain someone as he held his hand over his eyes.

Sonic: Knuckles is busy recording a new rap song...hopefully without any vocals from Alucard...so we asked Bowser Jr. if he could fill in. Conker was invited just to get him chummy with all my friends. Having him give up his chainsaw was almost a dealbreaker for him.

"Bowser Jr, I'm here!" shouted that certain someone, Yukiko, as she arrived at the backyard wearing a very summery attire. Bowser Jr. was easily a fan. "Thanks for the invite."

"Of course, anytime you wanna..." said a flustered Bowser Jr, pausing mid-sentence as he was losing his trace of thought. Yukiko's attire had him entranced. "...I'm, we're always...us."

"Uh oh! Inviting Yukiko on the scavenger hunt?" cooed Aku, as he was aware of Bowser Jr's love for Yukiko after how the young Koopa was acting in episode 202. The bandicoots and Sonic were aware too, as they were all smiles. "I think there's romance afoot!"

"No, look guys..." Bowser Jr brought Aku and the bandicoots away from Yukiko, speaking with them in private as he looked over his shoulder to see if Yukiko was listening. "I've thought this through and I'm over Yukiko. I've looked at it from every angle, and that thing was going nowhere."

"Ha! You're over Yukiko?!" snorted a skeptical Sonic, knowing that Bowser Jr. was bluffing - and Bowser Jr. was doing very little to hide it.

"I've moved on, Sonic. The rest of you should too." Move on, Sonic and the others would not do; they were going to be on Bowser Jr's case during the entire scavenger hunt.

"Hey, is it just me, or does that branch kinda look like a lever?" Yukiko called out to Bowser Jr. and the Crash clan, as she and Conker were looking up at a tree. The young woman was pointing at the branch in particular, as Bowser Jr. and company joined her at the tree base.

"Huh, yeah. But how do we get up there?" wondered Tails as he had his back turned towards the tree, which Conker climbed up on. "It seems we'd need like a ladder, or like, ladder shoes...yeah, ladder shoes. I'll draw up a prototype."

"Boosh!" exclaimed Conker, who was at the lever branch as he smacked the lever with an ax. The others down below marveled at Conker's initiative.

Conker: Sonic never said that I couldn't bring an ax with me... *pats ax into the palm of his hand* ...don't mind the blood.

"Whoa, whoa, what is that?" questioned Conker, as the tree suddenly began shaking; the bandicoot screamed as he fell down. The ground and tree sink down, taking Crunch with them as the others pull him out before she fell in. A staircase to the middle of the tree appeared and subsequently, a door inside the tree opened.

"Cool, a secret passage!" marveled Bowser Jr, his curiosity taking hold of him as he desired to know what was behind the door. "Whatever happens down there, we tell no one." Crash did a thumbs up, while Yukiko zipped her lips. "So who wants to go first?"

You might be asking yourself - why wasn't Lavenza with Sonic for the scavenger hunt? The young girl was away from Sonic for the time being, for she was at Cafe Leblanc with her older sisters Elizabeth and Margaret. Wanted to get them out of Mini Mementos.

"So happy that you could join me for a cup of tea," Lavenza said to her sisters, as the three Velvet Room attendants were seated at a table drinking tea. Always great to spend time with your siblings.

"We sure do appreciate the vesture, Lavenza," said Elizabeth as she sipped her tea, only to realize that she had used the wrong word. "Or is it lecture? Texture?"

"Joker!" Mario called out to the young man, as he stood at the cafe entrance with his posse. The plumber went to the counter as Joker drew near. "Do you know-a if there are any aliens afoot?"

"If I did, he would let me know," replied Joker as he looked over at Pit, who was fixing another cup of peppermint coffee...erm, pepper mint coffee. Pit offered the cup to Mario.

"No thanks, I've already had my fix of coffee this morning." Valuing his taste buds, Mario gently pushed the cup away from him, as Pit lowered his head in sadness and walked away.

"But you only had orange juice for..." Spyro was about to say, only for Hunter to cover the purple dragon's mouth. Big ups to Hunter for looking out for Mario.

Mario: Fox and Falco didn't have a spare Blaster on-a them, so I had to use THIS instead! *whips out a slingshot* Behold, the mighty slingshot. With-a this, I'll be unstoppable!
Villager: Um, Mario? *taps Mario on his shoulder* Can I have my slingshot back, please? I have to shoot down my package from the sky.
Mario: *frowns as he returns the slingshot to Villager*

"We'll let you know if we see an alien," Joker said to Mario, who had Joker's word as he led his posse out of the cafe. Once Mario and his gang were gone, Joker turned to Kirby and said, "Looks like your friend Magolor is up to trouble."

Bowser Jr. and company were supposed to go on a scavenger hunt, but now they were going down a long-winded staircase as they walked into a room. The room looked like a fallout shelter of sorts.

"Whoa!" exclaimed Crash, as he and the others were amazed by how the room looked. All sorts of trinkets were littered about, as well as a bunch of posters hanging up on the walls.

"It's like a fallout shelter or something," observed Bowser Jr, who was using a lit torch to guide everyone through the darkness. "It must belong to Vault Boy or something."

"This is going over my bed," said Yukiko as she claimed a metal fallout poster off of the wall. Yukiko dusted the metal poster off, while Coco placed her face inside a barrel.

"Haha! My face feels fuzzy!" smiled Coco, pulling herself out of the barrel with a bunch of large black caterpillars crawling on her face. Let's just hope that those caterpillars aren't poisonous...

"This is awesome!" exclaimed Sonic, as he was looking up at a shelf with dated boxes. The highest was labeled 2070. "It's like whoever built this place was preparing for a disaster. But what kinda disaster would need supplies for over sixty years?"

"Sweet!" exclaimed Conker as he opened a weapons locker; clearly there was a trinket inside there that captured the squirrel's attention. And it was...a Smez dispenser, which Conker pulled out of the locker. "A Smez dispenser! I remember these things." Conker held his ear close to the Smez dispenser, as he heard it speaking to his soul. "What's that? Yes, I will have some of your old-timey face food." Conker ate candy from the dispenser, only to spit it out due to how dusty it was.

"Wait everyone, I think this can was opened recently," Crunch alerted the others, as he saw a dripping bean can lying on the floor. "We must have some company!"

"Wait a minute..." said Yukiko as she saw a map of Washington hanging on the wall; the young woman pulled the map down, revealing an open hatch cover. "...I think I know where they might have gone."

Yukiko crawled in through the open hatch cover and was leading everyone in crawling through a tunnel. The group eventually reached the end, as they crawled into a room made of metal cubes.

"Wow...was this place built in the past or the future?" wondered Yukiko, taking note of how futuristic the room looked.

"This room is way creepy," observed Crunch, creeped out by the many mysterious symbols that were on the cubes.

"Not as creepy as Tails' internet history," quipped Sonic, as Tails looked around guiltily; the blue hedgehog shoved Tails, who stepped onto a square with a design on it. The square depressed, causing the hatch to slam and lock as the symbols on the other wall squares glow red. A buzzer sounded and the room started to shake, as some squares start to poke into the room.

"What's going on, man?" asked a panicked Crunch, as everyone was pressing up against the wall. Everyone for the most part was panicking, except for Coco.

"Ha, it's hard to be scared with caterpillars on your face," smiled Coco, while everybody else was freaking out and looking for a way to escape. The room for escape was almost nil.

"It won't stop!" shouted Yukiko as she tried to push the blocks back in, but to no avail. The others followed up on Yukiko's lead and were just as unsuccessful.

"What do we do?!" wondered Conker, as the group was on the verge of being crushed to death. Bowser Jr. looked through the moving blocks and saw an opening in the distance.

"There's an opening!" the young Koopa shouted as he pointed at the opening. "Run for it!" Bowser Jr. led everyone to the opening, as he and the others ran out of the room just as the blocks closed in. Bowser Jr's bib got caught in a block as he slipped out.

"Yes! Yes! That was, huh, that was pretty crazy," said Yukiko once she and everyone else were out of the room. The young woman had enjoyed the adrenaline rush, as she turned towards Bowser Jr. "You ruled back there!"

"Haha, thanks," smiled Bowser Jr. as he held his arm; he had never seen Yukiko so exuberant before, and he was taking huge credit for it.

"Get a load of this crazy surveillance room," said Tails as he checked out the room, finding it to be right up his alley. Crash found two beakers lying on a desk, and used them to make funny faces as he held the beakers in front of him.

"Crash...that is hilarious," Sonic said to the bandicoot, easily amazed by Crash's talent. Crash could literally juggle the beakers and break them both, and Sonic would still be impressed.

"Hey Bowser Jr, you forgot your bib," Coco said to the young Koopa, as she walked over to Bowser Jr's bib and pulled it out. When she pulled out the bib, a note fell to the floor, and she picked it up. "What the? 'Dear Yukiko, I've always had a crush on...'" That's when Coco gasped and covered her mouth. "Hey, Bowser Jr! Look what I found..."

"What are you...?" gasped Bowser Jr, as he saw Coco running over to him with the note. "...give me that!" Bowser Jr. snatched the note away from Coco, putting it in his imaginary pocket. A much better hiding place.

"I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! You're not over Yukiko at all! And you were gonna tell her today?"

"No, I changed my mind; it's a bad idea. I'd just embarrass myself and then I'd be another guy she hates, like Yu."

"Bowser Jr, you should just tell her already. One way or another, you'll feel better afterward."

"Look, Coco, I can't tell her no matter how much I want to, so just drop it, okay?"

"Bowser Jr, you have to check out this weird metal closet," Yukiko called out to the young Koopa, as she and Crunch were standing in front of a metal closet.

"I am a robot, I have a metal closet," Crunch said in a robot voice, while also doing the Robot; perhaps he could teach the Mighty Gazelle how to perform the dance move.

"Coming!" Bowser Jr. shouted to Yukiko, before bringing his attention back to Coco as he told the blonde bandicoot, "This never happened."

"Bowser Jr, whatever happens, I just want you to know something..." Coco said to the young Koopa as she led him over to the metal closet, as Yukiko was taking a look inside. "...this is for your own good."

"What the...?" Soon Bowser Jr. was shoved into the metal closet by Coco and pushed into Yukiko as he brought her into the closet with him. Coco then slammed the metal closet door. The moment that he looked up at Yukiko, Bowser Jr. gasped. "...COCO! Let us out!"

"Oh, I'll let you out Bowser Jr - as soon as you tell Yukiko that thing you've been wanting to tell her. You'll thank me for this later!"

Coco: He wants to tell her but he's scared; maybe he needed a little push.

"What is she talking about?" Yukiko asked Bowser Jr, as she was trapped inside the metal locker with the young Koopa and a cameraman that happened to sneak inside before the closet was closed. Wanted in on the action.

"Nothing! Coco's probably eating raw sugar packets again," replied Bowser Jr, trying to play it cool as he was trapped with his crush. A favorable yet unfavorable situation to be in.

"That's beside the point!" Coco shouted from outside the metal locker, as she could be heard snacking on sugar packets. Had to get her sugar fix in.

"Let me out RIGHT NOW!" Bowser Jr. was pounding on the door, and not a single soul was letting him out.

"Where are the lights?" wondered Yukiko, only to look up and see a cord hanging from the ceiling. The young woman pulled the cord, and she and Bowser Jr. screamed as water gushed down. The gush of water was followed by a blast of hot air that pushed them together, as a red light flashed and a tone sounded. A sign reading "Decontamination Complete" flashed and the doors opened on a wrecked underground room.

"Whoa! A hidden lab!" marveled Bowser Jr, as the surprises kept coming and coming; the fallout shelter truly had all the works. "Maybe the guy who built this shelter did experiments down here."

"What do you think dug all these tunnels?" asked Yukiko as she and Bowser Jr. took a brief look around the laboratory, seeing nothing but wreckage at nearly every corner.

"Let's hope we don't find out." Bowser Jr. and Yukiko heard a growling sound, and they both screamed and run away as a dark figure approached them. "Coco, open up, for real! There's a monster in here!"

"Haha, nice try!" Coco shouted from outside the door, which Bowser Jr. and Yukiko were pounding their fists on. "The only monsters are your own inner demons, Bowser Jr!"

"That is so wise," said Tails, although Coco's words weren't that profoundly deep; Tails was just being nice because Coco was his girlfriend and all. It was standard boyfriend protocol.

"Bowser Jr, just say whatever Coco wants you to say, so she'll let us out of here!" shouted Yukiko, but Bowser Jr. couldn't bring himself to confess his love to his crush. He didn't have the stones to do it yet.

"Come on Bowser Jr! Now's the time!" Coco shouted to the young Koopa, refusing to let him and Yukiko out until he said the words that Coco believed Yukiko deserved to hear.

"Yukiko, I...I..." started Bowser Jr as he was looking deep into Yukiko's eyes, about to make the confession of a lifetime. "...I'm gonna find another way out!" The young Koopa grabbed Yukiko's hand and pulled her in the other direction.

"Wait, what? Where are we going?" questioned Yukiko, as she and Bowser Jr. ran down a tunnel. They both reach a dead end, as the shadow of the monster that they saw earlier cornered them. "What do we do?"

"I don't know!" Fortunately for the two, help was on the way as they saw a shadow of a man. The man and the monster fight each other, with the man taking the upper hand.

"Back, back you heinous beast! " the man shouted at the monster, before finishing him off. The man then walked forward into view, revealing himself to be a wizard wearing a red robe. "Well, I just ripped out a monster's tongue."

"It's, it's you! The guy who built this shelter," Bowser Jr. pointed at the wizard, who threw the tongue down on the ground. The tongue disintegrated in a snap.

"Hurry now, I scared it off, but it'll regenerate." The wizard led Bowser Jr. and Yukiko down the tunnel, guiding them to safety. "I wasn't expecting guests. Pleased to meet you! I am Agahnim."

"I've got, like, a jillion questions! What are you doing down here? Who was after you? Why did you build this bunker?

"My boy, I'd love to discuss this in time. But we have more pressing matters." The three arrived at the lab and walked around the wreckage. "There is a monster afoot; it broke free from a cage of solid steel! I've gone half crazy trying to catch the creature alone. But now you're here! Will you help me catch it?"

Meanwhile, Crash, Coco, Aku, and Tails were still checking stuff out in the other room. Crash was spinning around in a lab chair, while Tails was fiddling with a control panel.

"Sure are taking their time in there," said Crunch as he slipped on a lab coat he found atop a dashboard, before picking up a laptop. "Hey, do I look smarter with this coat and briefcase? I feel like I look smarter..."

"Look at this cryogenic chamber," said Coco as she pressed a button on the dashboard. A cryogenic chamber on the computer screen froze and unfroze every time coco pressed the button. "Frozen! Unfrozen! Frozen! Unfrozen!"

"What's this?" inquired Aku as he saw a note lying on the dashboard; Coco picked it up, and she and Aku took a gander at it. "'Note: keep tabs on shapeshifter.'"

"Shapeshifter?" uttered an overhearing Sonic as he stopped messing with the control panel, with fear in his voice. "Didn't Bowser Jr. say there was a monster in there with them?"

"I thought he was just joking!" replied Coco as she gasped, now feeling like a gigantic fool for not believing Bowser Jr. earlier.

"You know that Bowser Jr's jokes are terrible!" Sonic and company looked towards the locked metal closet door, as they were now fearing for Bowser Jr. and Yukiko's safety.

With Dimentio potentially lurking at every turn, Samus and X took it upon themselves to instill a few more security cameras around the mansion. The duo was at the bridge installing a camera, while Zelda and Cloud stood by and watched.

"You move that ladder, X, and you're a dead man," Samus said to the robot, who was standing at the base of the ladder while Samus was at the top mounting a camera into the mansion wall.

"Like I would even do that," said X as he rested his elbow on the ladder, causing it to move a bit. Samus nearly lost her balance as she frowned at X, who gulped nervously. "That was unintentional."

X: Being completely honest, not that many things scare me. But there is one person that I'll take exception to, and that's Samus. When you've worked with her extensively as I have, you start to fear that woman more than you would ever hope to do.

"Wonder how much those cameras took out of the mansion's budget," Cloud said to Zelda as he folded his arms, while X made extra sure that the ladder was fully stable.

"There were spare cameras Samus had - didn't cost a penny," stated Zelda, as she saw Mario and company coming down the bridge. "Any luck yet, guys?" Zelda asked the group.

"Still no sign of Magolor," replied Fox, with Mario nearly bumping into the ladder and almost causing Samus to fall. Samus was about to snap, only to hold her breath after seeing that Mario was responsible.

"Watch it, you almost go me in trouble..." X frowned at Mario, who had no time to respond as he took out his phone after hearing it ring. Peach was calling him - no way he couldn't answer this one.

"One-a moment," said Mario as he answered the call, saving himself from an earful later today in the process. "Hello, princess?"

"Hi, Mario, I've been doing some cleaning around the house," replied Peach, doing a few house chores for the first time since she gave birth to Lou. "I can't seem to find your Hyrulian tome anywhere!"

"At ease, Peach, the tome isn't lost. The cover peeled-a off, so I asked Researcher Zelda to find a new cover." Putting his phone down, Mario looked up at Zelda and asked, "Did she do it?"

"She did, but..." replied Zelda, bracing herself for the bad news that she had to share with Mario. "...she left the tome at the library, and someone had picked it up. She's still finding out who has it."

"Come in, come in!" Agahnim said to Bowser Jr. and Yukiko as he led them deeper into the lab. "I apologize for the state of things! I don't get many non-mole-people visitors. Now the beast must have some weakness that we can exploit. I used to have my research on him. But alas, I lost my journal."

"Did you say journal? Like this one?" asked Bowser Jr. as he took a journal out of his imaginary pocket, showing it to Agahnim. "Found this one not so long ago."

"What?! Could it be?" Agahnim took the journal from Bowser Jr, flipping through the pages to verify that it was his. "It is! I can't express my gratitude! Oh yes..."

Sonic and the others were running into the other room, hoping to reach Bowser Jr. and Yukiko in time. Everyone was panting, as it was pitch black.

"Oh, it's so dark!" said Aku, as he was sorely missing the torch that Bowser Jr. once had. "How will we ever find them?"

"Aku, aren't you able to light rooms and all that jazz?" Coco asked the floating mask, who was suddenly reminded of one of his many abilities. In a matter of seconds, Aku shone a bright light from his very face.

"Dearest me, I almost forgot! Although I must ask...since I'm made out of wood, isn't this a fire hazard?"

"Not in my book. It's a fun hazard. Just light the way."

Mario's troupe had yet to find Magolor, as the alien was nowhere in sight. No matter who they asked, they always got the same answer.

"No, we haven't seen Magolor either," Ness said to Mario, as he spoke with Ness and Lucas in the arcade room. Mario snapped his fingers in disgust. "Maybe he already left in his spaceship or something."

"Link and Zelda are making us look around-a for nothing..." grumbled Mario as he looked back at his troupe...who were all playing arcade games instead of doing their jobs. "...time to leave, boys."

"Not yet, after this round," Falco said to Mario, as he and Fox were playing a fighting game. Mario sighed, as Lucas pulled Ness away.

"So this plan of yours, are you sure about it?" Lucas whispered to Ness, slightly hoping that his friend would reconsider and turn back. "Sounds pretty dangerous."

"It does, but it'll be our way for us to fix our mistake," replied Ness, as he watched Mario try to pull Spyro and Hunter away from the arcade game that they were playing together. "Just gotta wait on the right person to show up..."

Lucas: Ness apparently has a plan that might nip whatever Dimentio is scheming in the bud. On paper, it sounds promising but putting it into action, though...

Bowser Jr, Yukiko, and Agahnim were down in the lab, as Agahnim was skimming through the pages of the journal. All the information that he once held was back in his possession.

"Yes, yes, it's all here," Agahnim said to himself as he flipped through the pages, soaking in all the information. Yukiko picked up a ripped page off the floor and gasped as she bit her lip.

"Bowser Jr! Look!" the young woman whispered as she showed Bowser Jr. the page. On the can was a picture of Agahnim...and next to it was an arrow sign, pointing to a picture of some kind of evil beast. Bowser Jr. slowly connected the dots.

"Uh, you know what? We should probably get going," Bowser Jr said to Agahnim, as he was starting to have suspicions about the wizard. "Can I have that journal back?"

"You're not going anywhere..." Agahnim replied with a deep voice, as he turned his head around. Agahnim then crawled up the wall and turned into his true form...Ganon! Well, a boar-like Ganon. Bowser Jr. and Yukiko both screamed. "How do you like my true form? Go on, admit it, you like it!"

"You! What did you do to the real Agahnim?" Bowser Jr. asked as he pointed at Ganon, demanding answers right away. But he wouldn't get them so easily.

"That was just an alter ego of mine But I do thank you for bringing me the journal. So many wonderful forms to take!" Flipping through the journal, Ganon transformed into the Bokoblin, a Rito, and then a Redead, laughing each time. All of them Zelda creatures...how interesting.

"We've gotta get that journal back!" Bowser Jr. whispered to Yukiko, who knew what to do as she found a can flying on the floor.

"Hey, body snatcher!" Yukiko shouted at Ganon as she picked up the can and threw it at the monster. "Snatch this!" Ganon dodged the can before turning into a Zephos and lashing its tongue out at Yukiko. Yukiko held up a piece of metal to block the tongue, making it drop the journal.

"RUN! RUN! RUN!" shouted Bowser Jr as he and Yukiko ran through the tunnels. Ganon turned into a Goron, before rolling away as he chased the duo to a fork in the tunnels.

Once at the fork, Bowser Jr took his torch and threw it down one end, as Ganon rolled down after the torch. Bowser Jr and Yukiko then ran down the other end, and guess who they ran into? Crash, Coco, Tails, and Aku.

"Yippee!" cheered Crash, ecstatic that the whole gang was reunited; however, Bowser Jr. was convinced that Crash and company weren't the real deal.

"Wait! Careful," said Bowser Jr. as he backed away from Crash and company, bringing Yukiko along with him. "How do we know they're not Ganon?"

"Maybe I am!" replied Crunch as he puffed his chest out, showing off his abs. "Coco, inspect my shape!" Coco poked Crunch in his stomach, as Crunch giggled in response. "Do that again!" Then another poke, as Crunched giggled once more. "Even better the second time!"

"It's definitely them." Bowser Jr. looked at Yukiko and gasped when he saw blood trickling down her leg from an open wound. "Yukiko, you're bleeding!"

"It's cool, it's cool," assured Yukiko as she got down on one knee to assess the wound. There was a tear in her jeans, as the wound was exposed. "It's just blood; don't freak out."

"What happened?" asked Conker, as Yukiko took off her shirt and ripped off a sleeve to cover her injury. A perfect summer shirt ruined.

"We got attacked by some shapeshifting monster. He pretended to be a wizard, and now wants Bowser Jr's journal."

"Imagine if he escapes into the mansion!" panicked Bowser Jr, worried about the potential bedlam that Ganon could cause in a mansion chock full of all sorts of people. "He could transform into anything! We could never trust anyone ever again!"

"What do we do?!" asked Coco, as Yukiko wrapped the ripped-off sleeve around her wound. Yukiko seemed to know what to do, as the gears were turning in her head.

"Well, he took us into his home, tricked us, and tried to destroy us," replied Yukiko as she stood up, not letting her injury bother her as much. "I say we return the favor..."

Fiora was in love with her new laptop, super grateful towards Samus for her rare sign of generosity. The Homs was in the cafe using her device at a table, while Shulk was sitting across from her.

"Hey, Shulk, check this out," Fiora said to her boyfriend, as she did the unthinkable - she took the top panel off of her laptop as if she was taking a cap off a water bottle. Much to her chagrin, Shulk gave no reaction.

"Yes, I can see that your laptop is a two-in-one," Shulk said to Fiora with a smile, not sure who his woman was trying to fool. "You wanted me to freak out or something?"

"Fiora how could you, how could you break your new laptop?!" Marth shouted at the Homs from the adjacent table, as his wife Caeda facepalmed. The embarrassment was nigh. "You heartless monster..."

"Stuff like this is why I hate to be seen with you in public, Marth..." said Caeda, who was hoping for a simple day at the cafe with her husband; evidently, that was too much to ask for.

Caeda: Marth is still so technologically behind. I even fear letting him have a cellphone. Seeing how Chrom operates his own phone only confirms my growing fears.

"Alright, Nia, just sit tight!" Leaf said to the Gormotti as she poked her head inside the cafe, before looking back to see if someone was coming. "They're on their way."

"Why was she only addressing you?" Pyra asked Nia, who shrugged as Leaf momentarily left the cafe. All Nia had to do was wait and see what big things Leaf had planned for her.

"Right this way." Leaf returned to the cafe, bringing some guests with her - two individuals from Aionios. Noah and Mio were present, as the duo was the center of attention in the cafe.

"They're all staring at us..." Noah whispered to Mio, growing uncomfortable by how many eyeballs were on him. The person that drew the most eyes was Mio, due to her being a Gormotti.

"Looks like we got ourselves a Gormotti," Shulk quietly said to Fiora, as he recalled seeing Mio at the beach. The Homs never made any effort to speak with her, though.

"Hey, I remember you guys!" exclaimed Pit as he pointed at Noah and Mio. "Keves all day!" The angel raised his fist, as he showed solidarity for Keves.

"Well now..." said Dromarch, who saw Nia crinkling her nose as she looked at Mio. Mio locked eyes with Nia, as she drew closer to the fellow Gormotti.

"This almost feels like destiny..." said Nia, staring at Mio as she took the Gormotti's hands. Nia strongly felt as if she was supposed to know Mio. "...and what is your name?"

"My name's Mio," Mio introduced herself to Nia, perfectly understanding how excited the fellow Gormotti was. Nia's excitement was boiling over as she smiled with absolute glee.

"Look, everyone, another Gormotti!" Nia addressed everyone in the cafe as she pointed at Mio, while Leaf looked pleased with how her surprise turned out. "Told you that I wasn't the only one of my kind."

"Good for you..." commented Travis as he did a slow clap, only for Nia to grab an empty bowl and throw it at the otaku's head. "...yup, totally deserved that."

Ganon was now in a different tunnel, reverting to his Agahnim form. He was on the prowl for Bowser Jr - or more specifically, his journal.

"Bowser Jr, my boy! Come out!" Ganon shouted before momentarily losing his form, as he morphed into a Lizalfos. "I must speak with you! REVEAL YOURSELF, YOU SINGLE-FORMED TURTLE WEAKLING!"

"Oh boy, Crash - that book sure is full of some great monsters!" Coco was heard speaking with Crash, as the bandicoots entered the room along. Crash captured the attention of Ganon as he held the journal.

"There's that journal! Ooh, and some new strangers." Ganon turned into Crash... "Should I be one..." ...and then turned into Crash. "...or the other? How about both!?"

Ganon turned into a six-legged creature, with the top half resembling Crash and the bottom half resembling Coco. Both halves had a large mouth with many sharp teeth, as Ganon roared. Crash and Coco both screamed and ran away as Ganon chased after them, with Sonic and the others seeing the bandicoots headed their way.

"Guys, he's coming! He's coming!" Sonic alerted Crunch and Yukiko as he was inside a room, with Crunch and Yukiko holding onto the valve of a pipe. "NOW, NOW, NOW, NOW!" Once Crash and Coco drew close, Crunch and Yukiko started turning the valve.

"It's not working!" said Crunch, as the valve wouldn't budge; Ganon caught up to Crunch and company and tried to grab the journal from Crash with his tongue.

"Hey, let go!" Bowser Jr. shouted at Ganon as he held onto Crash for dear life; both the young Koopa and Crash were struggling mightily.

"You leave him alone!" shouted Yukiko as she helped out Bowser Jr, holding onto the young Koopa tightly. The young woman got pulled away with the journal, as Bowser Jr. and Crash were left behind.

"Yukiko!" Bowser Jr. watched in peril as Yukiko was pulled towards Ganon, only to jump on top of the creature ready to attack. Yukiko was about to show everyone what she was made of.

But then Crunch successfully turned the valve and a strong stream of water burst from the pipe, with Yukiko and Ganon knocked back by the water. The others got caught in the flow as well, and Yukiko struck a rock under the water as the water eventually subsided. Everyone was gasping for air as the water drained, and that's when Bowser Jr. saw a soaking red hairband lying on the ground next to Conker's ax...

"YUKIKO!" shouted Bowser Jr, as he saw that Yukiko was missing from the group. Grabbing the hairband and the ax, the young Koopa ran through the tunnel and soon found Yukiko laying on the ground. "Yukiko! No, no, no-no-no! Can you hear me? Oh, please be okay, please be okay!" Bowser Jr. shook Yukiko silly, but she wouldn't wake up as there was no response. "Oh no, oh no! This is all my fault! If I had told you when we were in the closet we wouldn't be in this mess. But I was too scared and now you could be hurt or worse, and I never even got a chance to tell you I'm, like...in love with you, Yukiko!"

"Uh, Bowser Jr?" Yukiko said as he was standing behind Bowser Jr. while holding the journal. Bowser Jr, who was tearing up with his face buried in his hands, looked up and turned around as he was all sorts of confused.

"Huh...what...Yukiko?! W-wait, then who's...?" Bowser Jr. looked at the Yukiko that was on the ground, who suddenly got up looking angry. "Look out!" The Yukiko on the ground (we'll call her Yukiko #1) attacked the other Yukiko (who we'll call Yukiko #2).

"Give up that journal!" Yukiko #1 shouted as the Yukikos were caught in a tussle; Yukiko #2 wouldn't give an inch as she kept the journal out of reach.

"Never!" vowed Yukiko #2, only for Yukiko #1 to push over the young woman and land on top of her. "Get off me!" Yukiko #2 kicked Yukiko #1 away, as the two fought. A real cat fight going on. "Give it back; it's not yours! Bowser Jr, hit her already!"

"Don't listen to her, Bowser Jr!"

"She's Ganon!"

"Uh, uh, I don't know who's who! Give me a sign!" demanded Bowser Jr, unable to make up his mind; Yukiko #1 did a smile and wink, while Yukiko #2 zipped her lips. At that moment, Bowser Jr. knew who the crook was...

...the young Koopa took the ax and threw it at Yukiko #1, nabbing her in the eye and causing her to scream in pain. Yukiko #1 roared, returning to her proper form...Ganon. The tube that Coco froze and unfroze earlier flashed "READY", as Ganon ripped the ax out of his eye.

"Push him in!" shouted Bowser Jr as he and Yukiko pushed Ganon into the tube. The door closed and the tube began freezing Ganon.

Coco: *pressing the button to activate the tube* Frozen!
Tails: Boosh! *fist bumps Coco*

"No! Let me out!" Ganon screamed, turning into all sorts of Zelda monsters before returning to its true form and roaring as the tube began to freeze. The others rejoined Bowser Jr. and Yukiko as the tube was now completely frozen.

"Let's get out of here," suggested Sonic, as the group calmly walked out of the tunnel. But then Ganon laughed evilly, as everyone gasped and looked back at the tube.

"You think you're so clever, don't you?" Ganon asked the group, as he was going out on a last laugh. No better way for a bad guy to go out on. "But you have no idea what you're up against. Dimentio is coming for you! If you don't act now, you'll meet a fate worse than you can imagine. And this will be the last form that any of you will ever take!" Ganon turned into Bowser Jr. and screamed while being frozen, as Bowser Jr. and company looked in horror.

"Good luck sleeping tonight!" Aku said to the group, fortunate that he didn't have to worry about nightmares. Guardian masks like him never sleep on the job.

Everyone that was in the bunker was back outside, as the tree returned to its default position. Save for Aku, every person that was in the bunker was exhausted.

"I think I'm kind of adventured out for a little while - too pooped for a scavenger hunt," remarked Conker, totally forgetting about the scavenger hunt due to all the chaos that unfolded. "My face hurts from doing this all day." The bandicoot made a screaming face, as Coco laughed.

"Yeah, but you gotta admit we're all total heroes," said Coco as she checked the time on her phone, seeing how late it was. "It's almost time for dinner. What you got cooking, Tails?"

"We're having breakfast for dinner," replied Tails, ecstatic to be having dinner at the mansion with his girlfriend. The yellow fox was reading a text message that Cloud sent him earlier. "Wario gave away the original dinner food to charity."

"Sounds fine with me! Syrup on cereal, here we come!" So the Crash clan followed after Tails, as Coco hoped to make her syrup on cereal dreams come true.

"Coco, you're a visionary!" Crunch said to his little sister, hoping to follow in her steps one day. Soon Bowser Jr. and Yukiko were all alone, as the former had a confession he had to get off his chest.

"Look, Yukiko, about earlier..." Bowser Jr. said to the young woman, deciding that now was the right time to man up. "...in the heat of the moment, I might have said some dumb things, and can't we just pretend none of that ever happened? Please?"

"Look, it's okay...I always kinda knew," Yukiko confessed to Bowser Jr, who had his back turned away in shame. That shame didn't last very long.

"Wait, you did?" Evidently, Yukiko did, as she did a slight giggle.

"Of course! You think I can't hear that stuff you're constantly whispering under your breath?"

"Oh, man!" Bowser Jr. now felt embarrassed, groaning as he sat down on a log.

"Listen, Bowser Jr - I'm like, super flattered, but...I'm too old for you. Also, you're a turtle. I mean, you know that, right?"

"Coco said confessing would make me feel better."

"Well, how do you feel?"

"Anxious. Scared. Kinda itchy."

"Don't be itchy! Let me tell you something. Compared to everyone else that I wasn't friends with before joining the mansion, I have had more joy spending time with you. And if you ever stopped hanging out with me...I'd have no one else other than my closest friends!"

"So things won't be too, awkward, now?"

"I just wrestled myself. That was awkward. If you can handle that monster, you can handle a little awkwardness."

"Friends?" Bowser Jr. held out his hand to Yukiko for a handshake, which made him feel pretty awkward already.

"Yeah, friends!" Missing the cue, Yukiko pushed her hand out towards Bowser Jr. for a high five, accidentally shoving him backward off the log. Both Bowser Jr. and Yukiko laughed, as Yukiko pulled Bowser Jr. back onto the log before leaving. "Oh, and Bowser Jr? See you after dinner for movie night. Your room this time, okay?"

So Yukiko returned to the mansion, as Bowser Jr. by himself on the log. As Bowser Jr. watched Yukiko walk away, Crash and Coco popped out of the bushes.

"So? How did it go?" Coco asked Bowser Jr, who was startled by the presence of the bandicoots. Was about to fall off the log a second time.

"Wha...what did you hear?" asked Bowser Jr, wondering how much Coco and Crash were eavesdropping on his conversation.

"We heard everything," replied Sonic as he too popped out of the bushes; now Bowser Jr. was expecting Crunch to make his grand entrance next.

"I'M NOT HERE!" Bowser bellowed from behind the bushes - not the kind of company that Bowser Jr. expected.

Bowser: It's over, it's no more! Browkiko Junior is no longer a thing! *groans* Why did I give them such a lousy pet name...?

"Coco, how can everything be so amazing and so terrible all at the same time?" asked Bowser Jr, as Crunch finally appeared from behind the shrubbery still wearing that lab coat.

"I'm so sorry for being so pushy," Coco apologized to Bowser Jr, regretting the uncomfortable situation that she put the young Koopa in. "If it's any consolation, we can have Wolf on your list of potential rebound crushes. Or better yet, an actual matchmaker..."

"Wonder how that shapeshifting dude knows of that Dimentio guy," said Crunch as he sat on the other end of the log while holding up his laptop. "At least I got his science-y coat and briefcase!"

"Crunch, that's not a briefcase, that's a laptop," Aku informed the bandicoot, who was amazed as the laptop flopped open. Crunch wasn't feeling so smart anymore.

Ganon remained frozen in the tube as Bowser Jr, unlikely to thaw out anytime soon. Why are we returning to the bunker, you ask? Because Conker had returned to retrieve an item of his.

"There's my ax!" squealed Conker as he found his ax in the cryogenic chamber room, picking it up and kissing it as he walked away. "Once I get that house, I'm gonna make you look good as new!"

Shortly after Conker left, Magolor passed by eating from a can of beans with a spoon. He didn't bother pulling his cape down, so he was making quite a mess.

"Who knew that Vault Boy had such good grub in his fallout shelter?" said Magolor, only to gasp and drop his spoon to the floor when he saw the frozen Ganon in the tube. Magolor assumed that it was Bowser Jr. in there.

"Did you and Ganon acquire the tome, Magolor?" a voice called out to Magolor, who shivered in fear as a portal appeared. Magolor looked back at the portal - which was a Twilight Portal.

"Uh oh..." Magolor watched as a Twili stepped out from the portal...the king of Twilight himself, Zant. Accompanying Zant was Astor, who was with the Twili during Link and Zelda's wedding festivities in Hyrule.

"Was this Ganon's fate?" Zant took a gander at the tube, rightfully deducing that Ganon turned into Bowser Jr. and was frozen. "Then I take it that you failed at your job at acquiring the tome."

"What were you even doing this whole time?" Astor asked Magolor, who turned his head away as he feared that Astor might cast a spell on him. "Don't tell us that you made Ganon do all the dirty work."

"Totally wasn't eating canned beans or anything!" replied Magolor, as Zant took the can of beans from the alien. Zant saw Vault Boy on the can, with his patented smile and thumbs up. "Also, I thought we were looking for a journal."

"You really messed up this time, Magolor..." said Zant, coming off as a disappointed father as he tossed the can away. "...we need to keep that tome out of their hands."

"Yes, just to prevent them from countering our plans," added Astor, hoping to get his hands on the tome in the near future. "You're on thin ice, Magolor...those two newcomers Dimentio found may surpass you!"

"Bet that you guys are on thin ice too," Magolor said to Zant and Astor, trying to be funny with the villainous duo. But neither Zant nor Astor were amused.

"Far from it - we'll be with Dimentio for the long haul," stated Zant - yet another villain that was working with Dimentio. "Let's just say that we needed a little convincing...a lot of convincing."

Mario went back home with Spyro and Hunter a defeated man, as he and his troupe were unable to locate Magolor. As it turned out, Magolor was hiding in Valt Boy's fallout shelter the whole time, eating canned beans. Magolor might have some cramps later.

"Guess Maglor snuck underneath-a our noses," Mario said to Spyro and Hunter, while he was in the kitchen getting dinner prepared. The doorbell sounded. "Come-a in - the door's open!"

"Hey, Mario! I have your Hyrulian tome," Researcher Zelda said from outside, before entering the house with the Hyrulian tome. Which had a new cover, too. "Bowser Jr. thought that it was a journal."

Researcher Zelda: I'm not exactly the best artist, but I will say that my skills are passable. Think that I did a decent job with the cover. *holds up Hyrulian tome, which has a cover of Mario holding the Triforce* This feels incredibly damning, for some reason.

"Mama mia! Thanks, princess," Mario thanked Researcher Zelda as he ran out of the kitchen and took the Hyrulian tome. The plumber flipped through the pages to ensure that it was legit.

"There's also a weird love letter to Yukiko stuffed in there," Researcher Zelda told Mario, who eventually saw a note wedged in-between the pages. "Left it in there for you to read for your own amusement."

"Who knew that Yukiko had a secret admirer," smirked Spyro, as Mario took out the note and read it in full. Mario couldn't stop smiling.

Bowser Jr. and Yukiko were in Bowser Jr's room for movie night, with Yukiko bringing the popcorn. Bowser Jr. kicked his siblings out of his room, wanting space for him and Yukiko only.

"Is it just me or does this channel only have the worst movies?" asked Bowser Jr, not a fan of the movie that he was watching. And neither was Yukiko.

"You're watching the Bargain Movie Showcase," said the voice from the television, as there was apparently a movie marathon taking place. "Coming up next, The Widdlest Wampire, The Planet People of Planet Planet!, Help! My Mummy's a Werewolf!, Attack of the Exclamation Points!, The Man with no Taste, Ghost Turtle, Help! My Mummy's a Werewolf! 2: This Again!"

"You want to never watch this channel again?" With scary movies like those, changing the channel was a wise option.
