A/N: For anastasisrick, who prompted me with the lyric: "my silly lies versus your silly lies". It's about time I posted this, but I'm glad I waited because I've re-edited it, made it longer and now I'm much happier with it! This is a double drabble, 200 words.
What the say is in normal script, what they really mean is in italics.

I love Janto: They can, but it's not very pleasant when you're soaked to the skin and chilled to the bone. ianto is tired of being cold and wet, and even more tired of mopping up after everyone as they drip their way through the Hub!
i woke up to rain this morning, followed by snow, and now we have sunshine and gusty winds! We really don't need any more wet stuff of any description falling from the sky, everywhere is waterlogged and the flooding in some places is really bad.

Guest: The poor coat is suffering, it's gone all limp and soggy, Ianto needs to give it some tlc. They've had to break out the wellies and waterproof gear. Torchwood haven't been looking very impressive but sometimes it's more important to dress to suit the weather. Ianto thinks wetsuits would be more practical. Jack says if it wasn't so cold, he wouldn't bother with clothes at all. They're all running out of dry things and Ianto has abandoned his suits in favour of more sensible wet-weather clothing.
Is it a bad thing to have JB in drag stuck in your mind? *grins*

They were both as good at lying to themselves as they were at lying to each other. Whenever they spoke in anger or in lust, the words they said were never those they wanted to say. Each was too afraid of his own feelings, and of how the other might react; lying was easier.
