I love Janto: Yep! Baby Fluffs come pre-caffeinated, lol! Nosy is very particular about who gets a Flufflet, not everyone is suitable.

Sometimes Torchwood agents suffer from having too much blood in their caffeine systems. ;)

Thank you!

Guest: I wished he'd had another chance, because honestly, he was cheated. He was so much better than the person he lost to. I grumbled about it for the rest of the series.

Having a Jack around the house is worth any amount of chaos. Of course, if you have a Ianto as well, the chaos level is much reduced ;)

Both of them care too much about their characters to let their performances be reduced to 'comic relief'. They did an amazing job with what they were given, but I can't bear to watch CoE a second time. I doubt that I ever will. Poor Jack didn't deserve to be put through that hell, I certainly didn't find any of it funny.

I have one niece and one nephew, and I've never forgiven my sister for handing me my nephew as a baby and leaving me holding him. My nephew is now 30-something and over 6 feet tall, my niece is nearly 30, and I love being auntie to them both - now that they're grown up, lol

Eve doesn't have what it takes to get the best performance out of JB. She's not the most subtle of actresses, I think JB needs someone more understated to get him to tone down the stage presence to something more fitting for TV. Gareth, Burn and Naoko are all capable of very subtle, nuanced performances, they can say so much with just a gesture or a tiny change of expression. I believe Eve started out as a soap actress and got into bad habits, it's all exaggerated expressions and gestures with her, which I find off-putting. I loathe soaps, in part because it's all so exaggerated and over-dramatic.

It's like RTD just kept punishing Jack for being an immortal character instead of using his immortality to add depth and poignancy to his situation. There was so much potential in the character, but as with so much else in Torchwood, it was squandered, treated lightly instead of looking more deeply into everything it meant to the character. I think the only thing that happened between Jack and Alonso (on those rare occasions that I even accept that the scene happened) is that they got drunk and commiserated with each other about what a thoughtless, heartless bastard the Doctor can be.

Maine Coons are gorgeous! I'm not surprised you let him stay - though he probably didn't give you much choice in the matter.

Yeah, I have migraines every couple of weeks that last 3 days, but painkillers have no effect on them and because of my high pain tolerance, I don't tend to take painkillers much. Anything stronger than paracetamol upsets my stomach anyway, and paracetamol doesn't have much effect on pain, just takes the edge off it's severe, so I just have to endure most of the time. *shrugs*

I was a library assistant until I had to give up work very young as my health got worse. It really was my dream job, i had a very happy few years surrounded by books =) The librarian is the only sensible one at Unseen University, I'm sure. I even did a cross stitch picture of him, there's a company that makes kits of Discworld characters, much to my delight! There are at least two Death kits - one of Death on a motorcycle and one with Binky.

Walking on a sunny day is a treat for everyone. Hope you and the dogs had a good time!

Fear not, no Fluffs were harmed. Alien tech is very useful, it can discover things about species without harming them. Besides, I rather think Owen found out from talking to someone who's come across Nosy's species before, i just haven't written that story yet.

Yes, I'm sure there's a law against it, but Jack's just wistfully thinking. Things might be different once they get far enough into the future.

Thank you.

It had been a long and busy day for Team Torchwood, mostly spent out in the field chasing down a horde of harmless but very energetic aliens. They'd finally been persuaded to give up sightseeing and return to their spaceship; now all the team wanted to do was go back to the Hub, collapse, and preferably never move again.

Except, of course, they couldn't.

There was still the police to appease, Retcon to administer and a general cleanup to be done.

Ianto felt it prudent to deploy his secret weapon and pulled out a large thermos flask.

"Anyone for coffee?"
