...Hm? ...It's already morning?
When I slowly opened my eyes, I saw that the sun had already risen with the sun rays entering the room through the window.
Seeing this, I decided to turn my back to the window and put the blanket over my head, wanting to sleep more, still tired from yesterday's event. However, I blinked when I heard something creak, making me frown.
...Did someone open the door? Who is it?
As I turned my body and peeked my head out of the blanket, trying to see if I was correct, something landed on my stomach, knocking the air out of me.
"Gaah...! What's the meaning of this... Merlin." I said, glaring at the woman who was straddling over me, a smile on her face as she put her hands on my chest.
"Of course, I came to wake you up, Kay. The sun is up already and I had a few things for you, but first... I have a few questions to ask you."
"Can't that wait, I'm tired."
"Nope, that's something I wanted to know since last night and I want you to answer me right now. How are you avoiding my Clairvoyance, I can't see you with it anymore. But more importantly, why can't I access your dreams?!"
"You can't..." I couldn't help but to mumble under my breath when I registered her words.
It must be the works of the defenses I bought yesterday, I guess buying immunities was the right choice.
I then glanced at Merlin and, instead of looking upset as I expected, she was looking with curiosity in her eyes. Seeing this, I couldn't help but to let out the biggest smirk I could give her.
"That's a secret!" I shouted before I received a blow on my stomach from Merlin who started to bounce on me like there was no tomorrow.
"You villain! Why aren't you giving me a straight answer? You know it just makes me more and more curious!"
"St-stop this… that's not very ladylike–urk… right in the gut…" I muttered with a groan. And when I saw that she had no intention to stop on her own, I decided to pinch her sides which made her squirm.
"Hyah~"
Why are you moaning?! Damn it, is there a time when that woman isn't horny?!
Discarding the stray thought immediately, I decided to take advantage of that little instant and tried to push her off me, but before my hands could reach her shoulders, Merlin grabbed them before pinning them onto the bed.
"You--"
"Sorry, Kay, but I won't let you go until you satisfy my curiosity."
"And you think that's enough to make me talk. You'll have to try har...der?"
Feeling a pair of eyes watching me, I turned in its direction to see Uther watching us with an amused expression with Ector behind him, shaking his head seemingly in shame.
"I was wondering why you would take so much time to wake the young lad, Merlin, but I see that you were busy deepening your relationship with him. The ceremony can wait so don't mind us and take your time with him."
Ceremony? What ceremony?
"Well then, we'll be waiting for you two in the throne room."
And as he said that, Uther closed the door, leaving Merlin and I alone in the guest room. I then slowly turned to the succubus who stared back at me, straight into my eyes and I started to shiver when I saw her smile widen in front of me.
"Well, he said that we could take our time so... how about you tell me your little secret?"
Damn it, why do I feel suddenly drained even though I just woke up...
Standing in the front of the throne room before the huge doors, I was made to wait, surrounded by the two guards and Ector who seemed to be exhausted.
"Kay, I know that Lady Merlin is beautiful but I believe that there is a time and place for courtship, not to mention that you are still a bit too young for doing this."
Old man, instead of scolding me, you should be more worried about the fact your son got molested, or worse, had his chastity stolen by a pervert.
"Father, I think you should save that talk for Lady Merlin. She's the one who keeps crawling into my bed." I told Ector who looked grumbly but said nothing as he just crossed his arms in front of his chest.
It seems like he has no intention to continue this discussion, that's good. But still, she never gives up to make my life difficult, does she? Just you wait, Merlin, one day, I'll repay you this humiliation with interest.
"Kay." I heard Ector call me, snapping me out of my thoughts, prompting me to turn to him as he looked at me with a serious look.
"Just like I told you yesterday, don't do anything or speak unless asked, especially this time since you'll be at the center of attention today."
"What do you mea--"
"Sir Ector and Sir Kay have arrived!"
Before I could ask Ector to explain himself, one of the guards beside us shouted, the huge doors leading to the throne quickly opening in front of us.
Just what's going on?
Shaking my head, I straightened myself up before I went inside, following Ector the two guards, then knelt down before Uther just like yesterday. But when I looked up after being told to raise my head by Uther, I saw that there were two people by his side.
A regal and mature woman who I think is Igraine, the wife and queen of this realm. At first glance, there wasn't anything spectacular about her so I ignored her. However, the other individual was another matter.
When I saw her, the first thing that came to mind was 'Castoria'.
But after calming myself down, I realized that I was gravely mistaken. For one, we aren't in the Fairy Lostbelt and thank god for that. Another thing is that since this world's Merlin is a woman, meaning that I should be in the prototype timeline, meaning that my King Arthur should be the male one, not Artoria. And there is the apparent fact the person next to the throne was a few years older than I.
To think that my first meeting with Morgan would happen here of all places... No, I shouldn't be surprised. I mean, she's Uther's daughter so it should be natural for her to live in his castle. But still, it feels weird to meet the one who is the main factor of Camelot's fall in the future...
But as I glanced at her, our eyes met and I was baffled to see her smile shyly at me before looking at me with kind eyes.
...Is this really Morgan?
Now that I think about it, didn't the Lostbelt 6 reveal something about Morgan? What was it again... Oh yeah, I remember! It was Goredolf who said that in Pan-Human History, Morgan had three distinct personalities inside her.
Morgan Pendragon, Artoria's human sister.
Viviane, the lady of the Lake and one of Arthur's most important allies.
And finally, Morgan le Fay, Arthur's enemy and the one behind Camelot's fall.
If this is also the case in this timeline, then which one of the three is standing right now over there?
"Ector. Kay. First thing first, it is good to see you two uninjured from yesterday's battle. And I commend you both for helping our troops in repelling those invaders from beyond the sea, especially you, Kay." I looked at Uther when he called upon my name, seeing him stand up from his throne before he walked in my direction with an unfamiliar sword in his hand, which I copied without reservation.
"Despite your young age, you managed to prove yourself, performing feats that no average knight could achieve. I'm starting to see why Merlin and Ector hold you in such high esteem. And for that, under my jurisdiction as the king of Londinium, I will grant you the title of knight."
Hearing this, my mind blanked, just as the whole throne room exploded in talks as I could hear ministers and soldiers speaking to each other aloud without caring about the king's presence.
It will go down in the annals, won't it?
Thinking this, I silently cursed a certain laughing succubus who was busy fervently clapping her hands among the ministers.
