I love Janto: Thank you! Jack does try to be helpful, even if sometimes he isn't very good at it. If it had been a water leak, he probably would have made matters worse so it's a good thing it was the vegetable kind!

Dibart (Guest): Writing every day isn't always easy, but I've managed it so far this year, even though some days I only manage to write one drabble. Having good prompts to get the ideas flowing definitely helps. I love writing though, so I'm happy to make time for it.

I noticed that about Gwen too. She says she hates lying to Rhys and yet she was lying to him before she ever joined Torchwood. I like to think that Jack envied Gwen for the normal life she had and wanted her around as a constant reminder of what having a normal life was like. She didn't appreciate what she had though, she would have thrown it all away for Jack if he'd been interested. The good things in life are wasted on someone like Gwen who always wants what other people have.

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoy my little drabbles. I'll keep on writing for as long as I can, I have lots of drabbles still to post and other stories that I'm working on, so I hope I can continue to entertain you for a long time.

The man Jack had been questioning claimed he had no idea what had been going on in his warehouse, but Jack didn't believe him.

"I don't trust him, he knows something and I wanna know what. Put him under surveillance, run a full background check, see if he has a record."

"He might be innocent," Gwen objected.

Jack shook his head.

"There's an old saying on Boeshane, no idea where it came from originally. Translates as 'Everybody's got something to hide, except me and my monkey'."

Ianto snorted.

"What?"

"I know where that came from, it's an old Beatles song."
