My Take On The Guardian Story

A (in my opinion) fresh take on the "guardian of the hunt" story. Give it a read if you feel like it. Hopefully it interests you

1. Chapter 0 (06-09 06:57:26)

This will function as a Chapter 0 of sorts. The aim is to establish some character history that varies from the canon

Sally met Gabe very soon after Percy was born.

When Percy was around 4, Gabe began abusing him, threatening to hurt Sally if Percy ever said anything to anyone. Percy, being a young, scared child, obeyed. He didn't say a word about it to Annabeth, or Sally, or Poseidon (who Percy suspects knows anyway, since he's a God, but they haven't discussed it.)

Percy has many scars along his upper body.

Rather than being an idiot, as in canon, Percy will actually be incredibly intelligent.

My goal with this story, will be to write a stereotypical "Percy gets betrayed, and becomes guardian of the Hunt, and an assassin for Chaos" story, following all the usual tropes and stereotypes, but hopefully with a different spin; hence the name of the story.
