Helluva Loud Adventures.
(Josephine Orphanage, Beaverton.)
At one of the rooms, which is decorated in lime wallpaper, someone is packing her thins, and that someone is Lucy. Ever since the whole court from September, Lucy has been staying here at the orphanage and trying her best to handle living there without a roommate and without a really big family.
She thought she would be welcomed there, but she was wrong.
One day after being at the orphanage, Lucy has been pushed around, teased and made fun of for what has happened to her. Word of the whole court got out fast and it reached all the way to Beaverton and all of the kids there made fun of her and started calling her Pony girl, which really hurt her thoughts and heart.
Not because she reads Princess Pony, but because that reminds her of Lincoln and what he had to endure. She could only imagine Lincoln getting teased by all of their sisters daily, until it slowed down and died out.
Lincoln was said to have thick skin, which he told her, but even a kid with thick skin isn't durable enough to withstand a common pony book insult. Lincoln could take the teasing, but when you betray him, then it hurts so much. Lucy said she would have his back, but she never did and she fell in line with Lynn and her superstitions and Lucy feels as if she had so much to play in the madness Lincoln went through.
When Lincoln left home, she tried to commune with Great Grandma Harriet to ask where he is, but no reply. The ghost never contacted her or even gave her a sign, she then knew that Great Grandma Harriet had left the house and has never returned since. Lucy felt that she failed Lincoln, that she truly had made her brother think. "I have no sisters."
Then she when Lincoln was found and went back to school she felt happy for him to be back, but found out he defies them and that he has changed and that change was something Lucy has dreamed of, her former brother has embraced his inner demons. He found a new family and a new life and that made her feel a bit jealous, but this was not her choice.
Lincoln did not forgive any of them, except for Luna who still remains his sister and Lucy still recalls when Luna tried to go for her, tried to beat the shit out of her for the whole pony book thing. Lucy felt she betrayed her whole family by letting Lincoln take the blame and she was ready to take that punishment from them.
But then it hurt her more that her mother would abandon them and lose her mind to getting Lincoln back, and then came the verdict where they were found guilty, but Lucy knew they would lose, she just didn't tell them about it.
And now here she is Lucy (Former Loud) staying in a place where none of the kids like her, the younger orphans are afraid of her because they don't wanna be outcasted and pushed aside by Lucy. But right now, Lucy feels happy to be leaving the orphanage.
But, she has no clue who is adopting her. 'Whoever these people are, I hope they're nice and I hope they can help me get over my problems and my depression. But still, who the heck would adopt someone like me? A girl who betrayed her brother and left him for dead? Who would even be that wise to take me in?'
Lucy then grabs her bag, she only has a few of her clothes and no other belongings. Her stuff that is Goth related were all taken away and probably sold off. But she didn't care, it didn't hurt her to see her valuables go away, what hurt her more was knowing she would never be forgiven by Lincoln and that one day, he would kill her and send her to a life of hellish torment.
Lucy sighs and she grabs her bag and she walks out the door, she sees some kids look at her and then walk back to their rooms and not pay attention to her.
Al the kids there were all jealous, jealous that someone like Lucy is getting adopted and many of them speculate that the parents are crazy or that they might hurt her and that she would never come back. Lucy ignores their theories and just looks forward to whoever it is who wants to adopt her.
She then sees the woman who runs the place go to her. "Are you ready to meet them Lucy?" asked Anne Delisle.
Anne Delisle – in her late 20's, her hair is black and long reaching her back, wearing a blue shirt and brown pants and red slip on shoes.
Lucy nods. "Sigh, yes I am. What are they like though?" Lucy follows the orphanage owner down the stairs.
"Well, they're kinda odd and they wanted to take you in because they feel as if you need a family and they said they feel bad for you. They wanna surprise you, to see what you think and to hear them out as well" replied Anne.
Lucy is now even more confused. 'Who the heck are these people? What are their intentions for me?'
They make it to the lobby and then Lucy sees them, the couple sitting on the couch and both of them as tall as Luan, and definitely not human. Who are they?
Moxxie: The weapons specialist of I.M.P, a demon who has red skin with white freckles on his cheeks. His white pointy hair leads up to his curvy black and white striped horns. He also has yellow sclera with what seems to be no irises and only slit pupils. Moxxie has a long red thin tail with a quadrilateral barb at the end, as well as lanky digitigrade legs ending in what appears to be cloven red hooves, reminiscent of artiodactylids.
Moxxie's outfit consists of a black coat with red buttons and white cuffs, black pants a white shirt that has a black turtleneck, a large red bow-tie, and fingerless gloves.
Millie: The bruise of I.M.P, a short Imp with a long, demonic tail with white markings. She has eyes made up of yellow scleras and black pupils. She has long black eyelashes that extend beyond the sides of her hair.
She has two black horns with three thin white stripes and greyish-black hair with a white splotch in the center and bangs that cover half of her right horn. She has a beauty mark on her left cheek and a gap between her front teeth.
Her attire consists of black lipstick, a simple black choker, a cold-shoulder black crop top with gold buttons where the straps at the top meet the torso piece, torn black pants, fingerless black gloves, and black footwear that does not cover her hoof-like toes.
Millie also has a black tattoo in the shape of a heart on her right shoulder, and two white splotches on the insides and outsides of each of her elbows.
Lucy is shocked and she goes wide eyed seeing this. "No, no. What the heck? Them?!" Lucy backs up as the two demons go to her.
"Hello there sugar, how're you doing?" asked Millie.
Lucy doesn't respond and she just looks away. Moxxie and Millie can tell she feels nervous, Moxxie looks to the woman. "Ma'am, can we have some alone time with her?"
Anne nods. "Okay, I'll be upstairs handling things. Also, she needs help. I don't like seeing her always sad and miserable, and the kids here aren't making it easy for her either."
Moxxie and Millie nod and they watch the woman walk away. Lucy looks around and she tries to look for someplace to run and hide and she sees someplace and she bolts pass Moxxie and Millie. "Lucy, wait!"
Lucy hides underneath the table of the lobby and she sheds some tears and she closes her eyes (if we can see them) and she whispers to herself. "They're not here, they're not here. The demons aren't here. The demons aren't here, I'm still asleep. This is all just some messed up dream and prank!"
Moxxie and Millie see this and feel bad for her, she truly is almost broken up after what had happened and to top it all off, it's October 30, which means she's now 9 year's old.
Moxxie and Millie both lift the table and place it someplace else and Millie kneels down to Lucy's level and she places her hand onto the Goth girl's shoulder, and this makes Lucy look at them.
"Lucy, sweetie. We're not here to hurt you, you have to believe us."
Lucy looks to them confused. "Why? Why are you here? What do you want from me?" She sheds tears and feels like breaking down.
Millie then tries to reassure her. "Lucy, we wanna adopt you and I know it's very confusing, but you have to believe us. Moxxie and I have been thinking for some time and we do recall the only time we interacted was when we were all in the garbage van."
Moxxie then kneels down to her. "Lucy, we feel bad that you had to watch as the family you knew and loved was getting separated. We know people see you as the girl who betrayed her former brother, but we see a little girl who had no clue what she was doing, and let her belief shadow her eyes and cast what was important."
"We wanna be the ones to help you find the redemption you seek the life you truly deserve and that is to be with us" replied Millie. "We wanna help you and we wanna be there for you. Are you alright?"
Lucy's shaking of fear has stopped and she just looks to them. "This…. This isn't a joke? This isn't a trap? You're not gonna hurt me?"
"No, we're not. We wanna take you in, Millie and I can keep you safe and help guide you away from the dark path that the louds didn't bother to help. We know that is the very sole reason why you're like this, why you're always dark depressing and less of a good kind of kid" said Moxxie.
"You need guidance. The kind of guidance those asshole parents didn't give you, the kind of guidance that could make you into someone who won't be outcasted and have no friends and we can be that guide, the two of us along with the family we have at where we work" replied Millie.
Lucy feels as if… How would Luna say it? Her heart strings are being pulled and she can truly see in the eyes of these two demons, that they do wanna adopt her and help her find redemption and seek out the lost love she had casted aside.
Lucy then sheds more tears. "So, you're gonna be m-my… My mom and dad?"
Moxxie and Millie smile. "Yes, yes we are gonna be your mom and dad, in this small family we have."
Lucy gets up and she hugs Millie and starts to shed tears. She finally found a family that could guide her and show her out of her dark and depressed state. "Thank you, thank you so, so much!"
Moxxie also joins the hug and both imps kiss her forehead, but to do so they have to see her eyes and both of them are shocked at what they see. "Oh. My. Satan."
They are shocked to see her eyes, they seem almost as normal as Lincoln's eyes, but what makes her eyes odd is that the left eye has a red pupil and the right eye has a blue pupil. Her eye colors, they're not the same and are totally different.
"Lucy, what happened to you?" asked Millie.
Lucy looks down with guilt. "Why do you think my former parents wanted my bangs to grow?"
Moxxie and Millie now see it, the loud parents are ashamed of their daughter and her eye condition and they'd rather have her eyes like that than even let her eyes be seen and accepted. They didn't care about her, they shunned out her looks and only wanted her to be who she wants to be, and this infuriates Moxxie and Millie.
Lucy can see they're angry. "Is this gonna be a problem?"
Millie snaps out of it. "What? Oh no, no. It's alright with us Lucy, we accept who you are and I think you look pretty with both of your eyes revealed like that."
Moxxie also snaps out of it and smiles. "Yeah, I mean with your hair long, you could have a ponytail and perhaps let your eyes be seen. But we won't force you into changing you're looks, it's up to you Luce."
Lucy smiles hearing this, she has never heard anyone tell her that her eyes are pretty, the only one who cared about what she looks like is Lincoln. "I'll think about it, but for now I wanna keep this look, mom and dad."
Moxxie and Millie are taken back by this and they shed some tears, then they hug the little girl and Lucy hugs them back.
Moxxie and Millie have started a family, and Lucy has found the family who can truly accept her, because if two idiot human parents don't give a shit about her looks, then ask the demons and they can show you they have a heart to say you look just fine with who you are.
(Outside.)
Moxxie and Millie have signed the papers, Lucy also sees this and she sees her new last name. 'Lucy Bingham Horvitz? That does sound nice.' They say they're goodbyes and they walk out of the orphanage.
As Lucy steps out of the orphanage first, she looks around she is shocked to see who it is. Lincoln and Luna, her former siblings and also with them is the hellhound who took them in, Loona Silva Hound.
Lucy is shocked by this and then she forgot to ask Moxxie and Millie about Lincoln. "What? Lincoln? Luna?"
Lincoln walks towards her and this makes Lucy back up in fear, but Millie holds her hand. "It's gonna be alright darling, it'll be all okay. Hear him out."
Lucy feels scared, but the voice of Millie calms her down and she looks to her former brother coming towards her. Lincoln then kneels down to Lucy and he hugs her.
Lucy is stunned by this, but she soon sheds some tears and she cries into Lincoln's jacket. "Lincoln, I'm sorry… I'm so, so sorry for what I did. I'm sorry Lincoln, I'm sorry!"
Lincoln did feel angry at Lucy for siding with the others and not having her back, but he knows that deep down, he cannot hate her forever and that she's only a kid and a kid could easily be put into pressure to follow others. Lucy on the other hand is superstitious with paranormal stuff, so it makes sense to Lincoln why she went along with the bad luck thing.
But he can never truly hate his former little Goth sister.
"Lucy, I forgive you….. And, I'm sorry this happened to our family."
Lucy just cries as she hugs her former brother, then Luna joins in on this. "Welcome to the I.M.P Family Luce change." But deep down, Luna owes her an apology for nearly beating her up.
Moxxie, Millie and Loona smile seeing this. "So, does this make them cousins or something?" asked Loona.
"It does, and I know how mean you can be to me…" said Moxxie.
"I'll try and tone that down, trust me we're all parents now and we have to keep an eye on our little demons, and make sure they can see that the love and bonds they had are still there" replied Loona.
"Yeah" replied Millie. "And we're gonna need to get Lucy into school. Looks like Royal Woods Elementary is gonna have a returning little Goth."
"Yeah, she's also gonna need some way to go back and forth between hell and earth" replied Moxxie.
"We'll figure something out guys, I know we can" replied Loona. "But for now." Loona takes a pic of this moment with her phone. "Her first day rekindling what was broken."
Lucy then breaks from the hug and she goes over and she hugs Moxxie and Millie. The imp couple hug her as well and assure her that everything will be different and that her new life is just beginning.
(Bleeds Street. Imp City.)
At a rundown and nearly destroyed apartment home. The whole building belongs to Moxxie and Millie and is also under the protection of their new landlord and friend, Satan and this time the place does not look barred up or have broken windows.
The windows are all new, the walls have been cleaned of anything vandalism related and the billboard on top of it has been removed and thrown away.
Inside: Lucy opens the door to her room and she sees the walls are a shade of dark red. But Lucy is shocked at what she sees. "M-My stuff?"
Yup, it's all of Lucy's stuff. Her coffin is leaning onto the wall and the interior has been cleaned. She sees her desk and lamp and on it is her bust of Edwin, her bed looks like the one she slept on, but this one is bigger and has black curtains around the frame and the sheets, blanket and pillow are blood red.
Lucy sees her poetry journal and her books and her posters, but she sees some new posters and books and one of the posters had the image of Alastor saying "Stay Tuned Folks."
Lucy looks around at her room and out the window she has a good view of the rest of the city. Her room is on the third floor and is neighboring Moxxie and Millie's room. Though, the rest of the building has empty rooms for rent, and there aren't any demons living there. Just Moxxie and Millie.
The two demons watch and smile at this, seeing Lucy looking around and being happy at her new room.
Lucy then sees the books and new stuff. They all had names on them, well name tags saying who they belonged to.
Lucy sees a book on demonic history and other ancient incantations. This book was given to her by, Lincoln.
A Backstage pass to a concert from the Band "RESIST" and a poster of the band and she sees the lead singer is Lilith Magne and all of this is from Luna.
Lucy sees a bracelet that has instructions on what it can do and this bracelet will protect her from any harm, let it be demon, human or angel and this came from the Radio Demon.
Lucy sees a cellphone, but it's called a hellphone and has the numbers of the demons that they are friends with and this was given to her by Loona.
She has no clue why she was given handcuffs, but they're from Blitzo. Seeing those things irritates Moxxie, though Millie could tell Lucy could use it for when she wants to torture someone.
There's a briefcase and inside of it are clothes, a new wardrobe for her to try and all of them are from Octavia.
Then she sees an empty picture frame for a small photo and she sees the skulls around the frame and the word "Our family" labeled at the bottom and she looks to Moxxie and Millie and she goes towards them and embraces them.
Moxxie and Millie hug her back with tears and they both say the words. "Happy Birthday Lucy."
To be continued…
A/N: Happy Birthday Lucy, you're 9 now and the best gift for you, is to be with this demonic family and live her life with Moxxie and Millie, not as a Loud, or a Silva Hound, but as Lucy Bingham Horvitz. She's gonna have one helluva life alongside Lincoln and Luna, and chances she will try and regain the trust from her friends at the Young Morticians Club.
Let us hope they don't try and fool her into just trying to see the Radio Demon. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
Another thing guys, what should Leni's fate be should she be released from her sentence? Some good readers have given me these options: Should she be adopted alongside Luna and Lincoln? Or should someone else take her in and she works for the Hazbin Hotel? PM or Review you're votes people.
I would like to thank reviewers: LongNightDragon and The Mysterious Storm. For the idea on Lucy's eyes and the issue with the parents with her. Thanks dudes.
Date made: 10/24/20.
