"We slept again?" Mitsumi asked with a yawn from where she was on top of Saitama's chest. He yawned after that and could only nod. "Should we go back out there? We probably should, huh?"

"In a bit," Saitama mumbled and ran a hand over her back.

"Your glowing is almost gone," she chuckled and traced a finger up his chest. "I do have a small theory, though."

"What's that?" he asked.

"If you get mad, or even overly protective, you can bring this glowing back out in full force," she said softly. "I noticed it when you stared at Sonic. Your inner power won't do anything else unless you initiate it, but if you get pissed…you get the idea?"

"I can show it off as a natural effect. Okay. As long as I don't act stupid with it," Saitama mused. "I can work with that."

"Yeah. It actually…makes me feel a lot more at ease," she started. "Just knowing you can show off that inner strength. Not all the time, but enough to show that no one can hurt me. My family, too. I still…can't believe that you're with me. There are times I still think I'm dreaming…"

"Again with the dreams. The thoughts that I can't protect you from. All I can do is prove to you that I'm here. That this is real. Mitsumi…what can I do to make you happy?" Saitama asked and held her close.

"I don't know…" she winced and shivered.

"Nope. Not taking that answer. Okay. Let's go level a building. The new heroes need to see what I can do," Saitama said.

"Um…you killed a monster in front of them. They know what you can do," she said with a small smile.

"Eh…" he rolled his eyes. "What else is there?"

"It's like I said. I don't know what else there is," she shrugged softly. "The thoughts will always come about, Saitama. But I know, too, that you're here. I can touch you. I can squeeze you. My whole life...it was absolute torment. And it was even worse after my father died. I know it's a lot of post-traumatic stress now. Unneeded baggage that I have to carry. I don't…want to tell you…"

"Tell me what?" he asked.

"I can't…" she shivered and shook her head.

"Do I need to get Inichi?" he asked.

"No! It will hurt him, too! Please…" she cringed.

"Then talk to me. Please," he begged softly. "Let me help you."

"There are still times…" she said softly and pressed into him. "I still see the face of that jerkoff…leering at me…no matter what I do…"

"The asshole still haunts you."

"Yes…"

"Even though I killed him. We destroyed that lab."

"Saitama…he…you know what he did to me…"

"All too well."

"I'm trying, Saitama! I'm trying so hard to let it go! And I do. But then it comes back. It's going to take time for it all to leave me. It may be with me for the rest of my life. It's a permanent scar. Nasty memories. And with all the crap we're still finding…all the bullshit…!" she grimaced.

"Give me your rage, Mitsumi," he said softly. "Give me every fear you have. Every angry emotion. Every little bit of disgusting grime and thought that is coming through your mind right now. Give it all to me."

"Why?" she frowned.

"Every time I say that I'm here. That I protect you. That I won't let anyone else touch you. I know I can protect you physically. But mentally? No matter where we go, that bastard is gonna keep coming up. But I know it hurts you to bottle it in. The only thing I know that I can do is listen. I can handle it. I can deal with it. I can store up the anger that I get from it to punch harder at anything that would dare to get between us," Saitama said and squeezed her. "I want to know when your anger started. When your hurt started. Tell me."

"Saitama!" she looked at him now with shock. "No! That's just…!"

"Tell. Me. Please," he said with a stern look to his features. "I'm your husband. Let me be your diary now. No one will be able to read me unless I give the information out. Even Inichi respects me in full to not get into my head unless there is a dire situation. There's no physical lock to me. Now, tell me how it all started. From the beginning. Okay?"

She went silent for a good three minutes. It got to a point that he finally said, "If you don't start talking, we aren't leaving this room. Start talking."

"Ah…!" she winced. She knew he was being serious.

"Is everything okay?" Zenchu asked outside the door.

"We're fine. Just talking," Saitama called out. "A bit longer, please."

"But-!" she started and paused with wonder at the loving gaze Saitama gave her. He only nodded to her to talk. "Okay. My earliest memory was when I was around four years old. My family was to go on an outing event. That thing told me that I wasn't true family. That I had no privilege to join. That I was worthless. Wouldn't amount to anything. Any negative thing that could have been given…it was given to me.

"After the thing left, my father plucked me up to hug me. Said those were lies. That I was special and unique. That my quality wasn't recognized. If I remember it right, he said he had an important meeting to the others and didn't go with them. He took me on a luxury cruise with him, instead. It was far more enjoyable than where they were going, anyways."

"Well, there you go!" Saitama grinned. She chuckled and nodded. "So, we know your dad definitely took away the bad crap."

"Yeah. Every time I was mentally beaten up and destroyed, he was there. But…when he wasn't there…" she faltered and shook her head.

"Okay. We'll skip ahead now. What was the first thing done after his death?" he asked. "Give me everything."

"I was told…that I was the reason he had to die," she said and found herself shaking and tearing up. "That it was my fault! That I killed him!"

"Absolute bullshit!" Saitama said quickly.

"I…oh, no…" she blinked at a realization.

"Tell me!" he demanded.

"The servants! That thing…she fired a few of them. Hired new ones. Some of them…said…" she started shaking even more.

"Job well done?" he asked on a whim.

"Yes…"

"Did any of them hurt you?" he asked carefully.

"Two of the men…didn't succeed where that jerkoff did…but…they were close!" she said and got squeezed hard to him. "They were hired by that thing…"

"How far did they get?" he continue to prod her for information.

"It was…two separate occasions from each of them…I was cornered…groped and…I ran from them and locked myself in my room…" she trembled hard. "One of them tried to break in…but Daiki actually showed up and said not to bother the pet…"

"I'd slap Daiki, but he's sorry. As for the two that touched you…hmm. Himiko wanted to rehire some staff. We will be interviewing them. You point those two out to me. Got it?" he said.

"I was told that they were ordered to…do whatever they wanted with me. Daiki…he heard me sobbing in fear…he actually told me that…even though I was a pet…no pet deserves to be abused in that way. He made sure no one came to me after that…" she swallowed. Saitama was now reaching over to grab at his phone and going through the various numbers. He found the one he wanted that called him before and auto-dialed it.

"Hello?" Daiki asked.

"Hey. It's Saitama. I found your number in my call history. I need to know. Right. Now. There were servants in your home. They tried to hurt Mitsumi. Did you protect her? Or did you still think she was a pet that didn't deserve abuse?" Saitama said with a completely cold, murderous edge in his tone.

"Ah…I didn't…mean it that way!" Daiki said quickly. "It was to make them leave her alone! I swear! I played the part to try and…!"

"Okay. Himiko wanted servants to be rehired. I may kill a few of them. They may be Secret Skins. If the ones that tried to hurt Mitsumi are also Secret Skins, then it's even better. We were going to go to City X to check the master bedroom today. Send out a notice. Now. That a rehire of servants is going to be done. Do not tell them that Mitsumi or myself are going to be there. We want it to be a nice surprise. And don't mention that other S class heroes, or any heroes at that, will be there, too," Saitama said. "Keep it brief like a normal hiring. However, I know it's a bit late in the afternoon. Put in some kind of posting for bonus pay if they wanted to get hired within the hour of getting the notice."

"Got it. I'll do that now. I'll have Himiko call you, too," Daiki said and hung up after that. Mitsumi worried her lower lip lightly, but Saitama pulled her close and gave her an extremely loving and gentle kiss.

"Your father's death was not your fault," he muttered and moved his hands up to caress the back of her head. "What happened to him…he knew what he was doing. We read his letter. He knew what was going to happen. I don't know why you didn't find his letter when you did, though."

"I think…it was meant for us to find. Together. Not just me," she said. He smiled softly and nodded. "If I found it sooner…I don't think I would have met Zenchu when I did. I think a lot of things wouldn't have happened. I'd probably be hunted down, too. Regardless, I'm very happy that we both found it. Learned the truth together. We have a lot of loose ends to tie off, though."

"I know. Killing off the servants that tried to hurt you is one I'll gladly tie off and cut the loose end with my teeth! Hmm?" he glanced at his headset at the sound of Zombieman asking for him. He snatched up the headset and slipped it on while unmuting it. "I'm here."

"Same. What is Himiko screaming at Daiki over? We're all at the mansion. Siren was exploring all the rooms. What's going on?" Zombieman asked.

"That thing I killed hired new servants. Two of them tried to rape Mitsumi," Saitama said flatly. He knew Zombieman was livid now. "Daiki is sending out a notice that servants can be rehired. That it must be answered within the hour for those that are truly interested. I'm not gonna be mentioned. Neither is Mitsumi. No heroes will be, either. Mitsumi and I will look at each possible servant. We may have to clean up a mess if those two were Secret Skins."

"When are you coming over?" Zombieman asked.

"I did not just hear that!" King spat out.

"You did," Saitama said.

"I beg pardon?!" Metal Knight asked with shock.

"Anyways, Zombieman, prepare for Mitsumi and I to get there within an hour. With an army. Because I know, once I say she was almost raped twice by two people that worked under that fat thing, NO ONE is going to want to stay behind to make sure they're both dead!" Saitama spat out.

"Bring Orotsu. He can check the kitchen and make us dinner. There's a dining hall large enough for everyone," Himiko said over the microphone. "The meeting hall for family. We'll need to clean it, though."

"Tacki can handle it," Mitsumi said softly.

"We'll see everyone soon," Zombieman said. Saitama muted the headset, pulled Mitsumi close and kissed her desperately to calm her down.

"Let's get dressed in our hero suits," he said.

"No. Wind Crane Clan suits. This isn't official association business. This is personal," Mitsumi said with a stern nod.

"Hmm. Okay. You're right," Saitama nodded and kissed her again. "Am I still glowing the red crap?"

"No. But I'm sure you will when we confront those two," she said with a soft smile. "It would…make me intensely happy for you to end that."

"Done," he grinned slightly and kissed her again. They both got up to dress in the Wind Crane Clan costumes and walked out the bedroom door.

"What's…?" Zenchu blinked at them from where he was on the couch.

"Within the hour, whoever wants to come with us can. We're going to City X to interview new servants for the mansion. Some of them may be rehired. Also, that fat thing had fired servants and rehired some of its own. They may have been Secret Skins. On top of that, two of them tried and failed to rape Mitsumi," Saitama said. Zenchu's eyes narrowed with severe hate now. Kamikaze chewed hard on the stick, and Tacki was quick to start packing up a few things to take with her. Inichi was quickly nudged and sent a massive family call to arms.

"I'm here. Lily's coming with us," Garou said when he charged in.

"The restaurant will be closing in thirty minutes, too. It was called that an emergency is being done. Orotsu will be here with the others," Kianna said when she walked in quickly with King. She moved right over to Mitsumi to start working on her hair and makeup. When Saitama's phone rang, he saw it was Sweet Mask. Saitama rolled his eyes, but he answered it.

"I heard the restaurant is closing early today?" Sweet Mask asked with confusion. "What's going on?"

"Personal family business. It has nothing to do with the Hero Association. Neutral Grounds will be opened back up normally tomorrow," Saitama said.

"Do you need assistance?" Sweet Mask asked.

"Nope. We got it," Saitama said.

"Wait," Mitsumi said and smiled softly at his pout. She took up the phone and said, "There is servant hiring and rehiring being done at my mansion in City X. We fear a few of them may be Secret Skins from when my false mother had some of her own. Two of them…tried and failed to hurt me."

"Hurt you?!" Sweet Mask asked with disgust.

"Yes. As in…cornered me to…touch…and failed to do much more when I ran from them. Where they failed, another had succeeded," Mitsumi said with a sharp intake of breath. "Anyways, it's Wind Crane Clan business now."

"I see. May I show up of my own accord with a few others?" Sweet Mask asked. "Just to help ensure nothing goes downhill too fast."

"They won't know we're coming. Daiki and Himiko know, but no one else does. If you think it's needed to show up, then fine. But don't be seen," Saitama said. "My glowing may be nearly gone, but it can come right back up if I get too pissed off. So…don't piss me off."

"I'll contact Daiki right now. See you there," Sweet Mask said and disconnected the line.

"You had to involve him?" Saitama mumbled.

"If he wants to bring other heroes to vouch on what happened, then fine. Let him," Mitsumi shrugged. "All the more to ensure that nothing bad will go down."

"Hey! I need to go over the security room there, anyways," Lightning Max said when he walked in.

"I haven't been there yet! Orotsu told me to help him there for cooking," Suiryu said when he managed to come in after running from Neutral Grounds.

"Here," Tacki said and gave over the finished headband to Saitama. He slipped it on and found it to be rather form-fitting and comfortable. It completed his outfit perfectly with a small, stitched-in winged crane in flight at the very front center. The image matched the one on his cape perfectly, too. A small crystal was set for the eye, and the blue-black feathers flowed smoothly and merged perfectly together in the back.

"Good," Saitama said and glanced outside to see Rendor landing heavily in his monster form with Tatsumaki on his shoulder. He was clearly pissed to a whole new level. Zip, Richoo, Shenjou and Masaki were standing nearby, too, to show they were ready to help.

"What's going on?" one of Fubuki's group asked.

"A family issue. No need to involve yourself in this right now," Rendor said. "We'll be back later tonight."

"It's gotta be something big if all of you are going!" another hero said.

"It deals with Lady Mitsumi's old family home. We need to inspect a few things and ensure nothing bad is happening. All you need to do is protect this area while we inspect the other," Rendor said lightly.

"I'll be here to help protect the home," Grigos said. "If you really need me, you can get me. I won't be able to fit in a door, anyways."

"True," Rendor chuckled.

"What exactly happened?" Grigos asked and leaned on his cage-like hand.

"Some servants need to be rehired. Some may be Secret Skins. Two of them, before they got let go, tried to hurt Lady Mitsumi before she ran away," Rendor growled. Now Grigos blinked all four red eyes and regarded him.

"How bad?" he asked.

"They tried and failed to force themselves on her!" Rendor snarled.

"Well. That changes things, doesn't it? I'll go, too," Grigos said rose up to stretch out his two-story height. Wind Crane landed from her short flight to show she was ready to leave the moment everyone was ready.

"Saitama," Mitsumi said and gestured for him to walk outside with her. On walking out to the balcony, he saw the monsters and heroes arguing that they should go with them. Saitama tensed up and let his power emanate from his form. It neatly shut up everyone and got their attention quickly. He pulled Mitsumi close to let her snuggle into his side. He let his gaze sweep over everyone, but no one felt any malice at all. It was intense concern and approval.

"I know. Everyone wants to help. We can't leave this home undefended," Saitama said calmly and loud enough to be heard. "So, I'm willing to cut a deal with you all."

"We're listening," Zip nodded. Others nodded to show they wanted to hear what was going to be said.

"We find out who tried to hurt Mitsumi. There were two of them. We bring them here and expose them. If they are true Secret Skins, we know they will have to die. Then you all get a piece of them. How's that?" Saitama asked. "Of course, if they don't die, I'll finish it. Mitsumi wanted me to finish it, anyways, but I'll let you all get your kicks in. If they die during it, then fine. I'll still punch them to make sure they're dead. Thoughts on this idea?"

"I like it," a hero nodded.

"Bring them here!" a female hero shouted.

"I can stay if that happens," Grigos nodded.

"Same," Zip agreed with Masaki.

"I'll go in case you need my venom," Shenjou said.

"Also, if they are human, we need to give them over to the heroes directly. Monsters cannot attack true humans. It's part of the contract with the Hero Association. Buuut…well…we might be able to let this one slide…maybe," Saitama said with a small grin. "We'll discuss it if it comes to that."

"Good," Rendor snorted.

"I wouldn't mind," Tatsumaki shrugged. She giggled at Rendor's huffing nuzzle. They looked over when Inichi brought over Fubuki to regard them all.

"Neutral Grounds is closed for the night. Genos is escorting the others back here. Mr. Saitama, what did you want to do with Fumio? Does he stay here?" Inichi asked. Saitama shook his head and had Fumio come out.

"Son. Do you want to stay here? Or come with us?" Saitama asked.

"Dad…" Fumio frowned and crossed his arms over his chest. "You were locked up in your bedroom with Mom for nearly three days! Do you really think I want to spend another minute apart from you?!"

"I guess you're coming with us?" Saitama asked and grinned at the face his son made at him. "Fine. You can hang out with Zombieman. Or in another room until it's all over. Okay?"

"Fine," Fumio nodded.

"If Orotsu will be there to serve up dinner, then we'd want him with us," Mitsumi smiled. "As it stands, we need to go now."

Wind Crane strode over to let her family mount up. Mitsumi let her fans fly out from the corner bedroom window and hover over her. Those that hadn't seen the display just gaped with shock. Many were there for the event at the desert, but this was a different display. Mitsumi grasped the controlling set and jumped high up into the air with Saitama. Fumio was pressed between them, and the fans formed the massive bladed crane wings.

"I missed flying with you," Saitama admitted when she turned towards the direction of City X.

"Me too," Mitsumi smiled and felt his hand press protectively into her belly. Wind Crane glanced up at them flying off and paused at this motion. She peered in closely and clucked to herself. They want an offspring. At this rate, they'll definitely get one. I won't say anything right now. It will need a month to fully form, but the motion is there. I want to see how Saitama will react for myself when it finally becomes known.
