One Pie Folk Island Star had arrived along with Gus, Willow and Maddie, joined by King River as they had changed into traditional Pie gear.

"With these clothes we shall blend in perfectly among the Pie Folk," River said. "Just keep an eye out, they're a crafty bunch."

"Sure thing dad," Star said, holding the pie she believed would lead her to her mother.

"Sup..." a dock person greeted. "Say, are you tourists?"

"Tourists? Can you not see that we are dressed in traditional Pie folk attire?" River said.

"Uh-huh..." the guy replied. "Listen if you're gonna leave your boat, you should really have someone watch over it. For a few bucks I can do it."

"Great idea, just let me do one thing here..." River grabbed an anchor and threw it onto the boat, sinking it to the bottom.

"King River! What was that for!?" Gus shouted.

"Guess I'm out then," the dock person said as he made his leave.

"You better run!" River said. "I will not be swindled by you lot!"

"Dad! What was that about!?" Star asked.

"Yeah, how are we gonna get home?" Gus pointed out.

"If we are going to find my dear Moon, we must stay ahead of their schemes," River said. "Now, where's that Plant Girl and the little frog?"

"We're here," Willow said, arriving alongside Maddie. "Hey where's the boat?"

"I sank it to keep it safe from the Pie Folk," River said, earning a confused glare from Willow and a snicker from Maddie. "Where is that bloodhoud."

"The sales guy didn't have one, he tried selling us a monkey," Willow said. "Then the monkey tried stealing something from Maddie."

"So I petrified it, and the salesguy," Maddie said, holding a potion bag.

"Good on you Maddie," River said. "Good to know at least one of you kids has guts."

"Hey, I have guts!" Gus insisted. "You know I once pranked a bunch of witches by making them think a forest was haunted!"

"Why would you do that?" Star asked.

"Because...they kind of swindled me..." Gus sheepishly admitted. "But I figured it out eventually, I'm a master of illusion."

Star turned to Willow, "Did he really figure it out?"

"Well he had help but it's not that Gus is gullible, he's just good-natured," Willow said. "Plus he did come the conclusion on his own."

"We are wasting time, come on, let us go," River said, leading the kids into town.

While searching, Willow was quick to notice a little boy in tattered clothes sitting next to a cart, "Aw, poor kid, think he's an orphan or something?"

"How'd you come to that conclusion?" Gus asked.

"Well, he's wearing old beat-up clothes," Willow said.

"Let me go talk to him," Star said, standing before the child. "Excuse me, do you know who made this pie?"

"Sure, I can tell you, but only if you help me steal this wagon," the boy said.

"Huh? I'm not helping you do that!" Star scolded.

"Allow me dear," River said, grabbing the lock and immediately chewing on it.

"Dad! What are you doing!?" Star shouted as a man came running over.

"Stop! Don't do that!"

"The shill!" River immediately did a belly flop onto the miniature pie man.

"Dad! What are you doing!?" Star shouted, running over with her friends.

"It's a classic scam! That boy wanted you to steal the cart that already belonged to him! That would bring the shill out of hiding to rob us!" River said, glaring down at the man. "But your plan didn't work!"

"I'm not the shill though! He's over there!" the short pie man said, gesturing to an old man standing near the boy.

"He's right, we were planning to rob ya, but I guess you caught onto our plan," the man said. "Let's go kid, we'll try again elsewhere."

"Wait, I got the wrong shill?" River asked.

"Those guys robbed me last week, that's how I got this broken arm," the man said, gesturing to his arm.

"We're really sorry sir," Willow said, helping him up. "We're kind of new here so a lot of this stuff is foreign to us, we really don't mean-HEY!"

Maddie had elbowed her ribs, "Don't tell him our life story! You're gonna make us easy targets."

"Oh I See what's happening, you think all us Pie Folk are liars and thieves," the short man said. "Some of us are good you know!"

"We really do apologize," Star said.

"Well fortunately for you, I have a really thick crust," the man said, then immediately started crying.

"Wuss..." Maddie said, earning a glare from Willow. "I'm not sorry for saying that."

"Look sir, we didn't mean any harm, we promise," Star said, trying to calm him down as she brought out the pie. "But if don't mind, can you tell me who made this pie?"

The man took a good look at the pie, "Actually, I do know who made this."

"You do!?" Star asked.

"He does huh?" Maddie said, somewhat suspicious.

"Any chance you can take us there?" Gus asked.

"Sorry, but I don't do favors to people who assault me," the man said, getting on his cart and instructing his pig to move. "Let's go Boysenberry."

"Wait sir!" River said, getting his attention. "Listen, this is not easy for me, I am an old man set in his ways..." River tearfully took his hat off, "But, I just really miss my Moon Pie!"

"Dad, it's alright, we'll find her," Star said, going to comfort her father.

"Sir, please," Willow said. "River doesn't mean any harm, he's just desperate to find his wife. Won't you help souls bound by love and holy matrimony to reunite?"

"...Well, I know what it's like to lose something you love," the short man said. "Please allow me to help you find the one who made that pie."

"Great, come on everyone," Maddie said, everyone boarding the cart as it began to make its way through town."

River still seemed to be sobbing, to which willow grabbed a handkerchief for the old King, "Here you go Your Majesty."

"That...will not be necessary young lady," River said, to the confusion of Willow. "My tears are fake."

"Wait, really?" Willow asked. "You mean you did this to trick that little man?"

"I had to, I am willing to go through a lot to save my wife," River said, pulling his pants up to reveal his shins. "Even use these little crabs."

"Oooh," Willow was very uncomfortable by the sight of the four crabs pinching River. "That looks painful."

"It is, very much so," River admitted. "And it will bring me to my wife, I can feel it!"

"I can't say I approve of you playing on someone's sympathy, but I respect a man who's willing to do anything for his wife," Willow said. "I hope I find a man like that someday."

"You will my dear, just follow your heart," River said. "It worked wonders for me."

"Excuse me dear, would you mind pulling that lever?" The pie man said. "My arm is still too injured to move anything."

"Sure," Star said, activating the lever.

Suddenly the card turned into a trap, one that got everyone by their neck and wrists, much to everryone's surprise.

"What's going on? This wasn't supposed to happen!" River shouted.

"Is everyone comfy?" the small pie man asked.

"No we're not comfy, what the hell is going on!?" Maddie shouted.

"Did you honestly believe your petty scam and ridiculous disguises would work on us? Not that it matters," the pie man said, unzipping his own disguise, revealing himself to be a man three times his size and a spatula for a leg. It was now that the group bore welcome to the Pie King.

"How did that guy fit into a small costume!?" Maddie asked.

"I don't even wanna know..." Star said.

"My word...I was wrong again!" River lamented.

"Everyone! Gather around!" Pie King said. "Say hello to our new guests!"

"What's happening?" a freaked out Willow asked.

"Oh don't you know? You're about to be sold to the highest bidder," Pie King said as he removed his hand and revealed a hook. "I do hope you're good at baking pies."

"We ain't chefs pal!" Maddie shouted, trying to break free.

"Wait, doesn't your dad own a bakery?" Gus asked, earning a glare from Maddie. "What?"

"Let us start the bidding!" Pie King said.

"I'll give you five dollars!" one man said.

"Five dollars!? We're way more than that! At least two hundred!" Gus said.

"Gus, not now!" Star said. "Dad, think, what can we do to get out of here?"

"I don't even know anymore," River tearfully lamented.

"Dad, get it together!" Star said.

"I'll give you 45 Billion, 710 Million, 412 Thousand, 242...pennies!" a mysterious cloaked figure said.

"...Huh?" Maddie said.

"How much is that anyway?" Gus asked.

"Sold..." Pie King said, amazed by the steep price.

The cloaked figure wrote out a check to the Pie King, "Do not cash this until Monday."

"Deal!" The Pie King said, taking the check as Star and her group were taken away.

"Seriously, how much did this guy just spend on us!?" Gus asked.

"Not important!" Maddie shouted.

Meanwhile in Newtopia, Marcy was ready to bring the Calamity Box to King Andrias, and after a lot of delay too.

Joining her of course were her best friends, Anne and Sasha, her boyfriend Marco, her witch friends Luz and Amity, as well as the Plantar Family of Hop Pop, Polly and Sprig along with their robot Frobo, the duo of Eda and King, the Woolett girl Kelly and lastly, Toad General Grime.

"Alright, back to Newtopia," Marcy said, having opened the portal into the capital of Amphibia. "Let's go over the plan here. Anne, you have the music box?"

"Right in my backpack," Anne said, pulling it out.

"Alright, Sasha, you and Grime will stay to the back, since Toads are kind of enemies to the throne," Marcy said. "But once I tell Andrias how helpful you've been, he'll clear your name. Just make sure no one recognizes you two, hoods up."

"You heard the girl," Sasha said, readying for what's to come.

Meanwhile Polly seemed to be scratching herself a lot, much to the worry of Eda, "You alright kid?"

"My butt is so itchy!" Polly shouted as she aggressively scratched. "It's driving me nuts!"

"Polly, don't scratch your butt in public like that, it's not very ladylike," Luz said.

"Don't start with me on that, I already went through that whole thing with Anne," Polly said, scratching harder. "Ugh, stupid fins!" She leapt down next to her demon friend, "King, use your claws to scratch!"

"Are you kidding!? I am NOT touching your butt!" King said, taking some steps back.

"Can we focus!?" Marco said. "Polly, I know it's a pain but don't touch yourself back there, you'll get your hands dirty."

"I got some ointment that can help," Hop Pop said.

"No way! That stuff stinks!" Polly said.

"Come on, we're wasting daylight," Marco said, leading his friends. "To The King!"

Everyone had already gone through the portal, making their way through the castle, staying close together while Sasha and Grime made sure to stay in the back.

While walking, Anne was constantly looking over her shoulder, worry etched on the girl's face.

"You alright Anne?" Luz asked.

"Huh?" Anne turned to Luz. "Oh, yeah I'm fine. Sorry I'm still a little freaked out."

"About Belos?" Luz asked.

"I keep feeling like he's gonna pop up at any time," Anne said. "Has he done this to you before?"

"No, he was mostly an enigma," Luz said. "Look, don't worry so much. You're not alone, you're with friends."

"Exactly," Sprig said, hopping onto Anne's shoulders. "If Belos shows his face, we'll make him regret it."

"Thanks, good to have friends like you guys," Anne said. "And who knows? Maybe Andrias can help too, I mean he's a big guy, I bet he can take Belos in a fight."

"A King battling an Emperor, that would be pretty amazing to see," Luz said.

It wasn't long before they had arrived in the throne room of King Andrias after being greeted by Olivia, with Andrias standing before the group.

"Welcome friends, I have eagerly awaited your arrival, and I gotta say, the wait was quite something," Andrias said.

"Sorry about that, we've had way too many distractions, but we figured that it'd be good to make time for you," Marco said.

"As longa as you're here now," Andrias said. "I trust you have the music box?"

"Boom Baby!" Anne said, pulling the Calamity Box out of her backpack.

"At last! The music box! And it's fully charged! Well done everyone," Andrias said, about to take the music box. "You will all be rewarded handsomely for this, I have something quite special planned."

Before he could grab it, however, Grime's tongue had reached out to take the box from Anne's hand, surprising everyone present.

"Sasha! What gives!?" Anne asked.

"Just doing what I do best!" Sasha said. "Go Grime!"

Grime brought out a giant hammer and slammed it on the ground to disorient everyone, the two taking out any oncoming knights who tried to stop them.

"Uh, is this supposed to be happening?" Kelly asked.

"Sasha! Are you nuts!?" Luz shouted. "Why are you doing this!?"

"Put a sock in it," Sasha said, then heard the roar of Andrias as he rushed in to attack, knocking Grime against a pillar.

"I'd stand down Andrias, things will only get worse," Sasha said.

"Tough talk child," Andrias said, gesturing to more of his knights. "Seize her, and get the music box!"

Before anything could happen, the knights were encased in crystals, surprising Andrias as he looked to see Rhombulus emerging from a portal, courtesy of Hekapoo, the two joined by Omnitrax.

"No one move unless you want to be crystalized," Rhombulus warned.

"Rhombulus!? Omnitrax!? Hekapoo!?" Marco shouted, about to step forward.

"He said don't move," Sasha warned. "He will turn you into a crystal!"

"He wouldn't," Marco said, turning to Rhombulus. "Tell her!"

"Marco, just put a lid on it, the sooner Andrias surrenders, the sooner we get this over with," Hekapoo said.

"Surrenders?" Marco asked, then turned to Sasha. "What are you planning!?"

"You know, I spent most of my life ruling over a school," Sasha said. "Now, I want to try ruling over a Kingdom."

"Sasha!" Anne scolded.

"I knew it!" Luz shouted, the girl glaring intently at Sasha. "I freaking knew that you couldn't be trusted!"

"Wow, so perceptive," Sasha taunted. "Lot of good that did, you still fell into my trap, all of you."

"You were planning this from the start, weren't you?" Luz asked. "That's why you showed up at the Volcano Temple!"

"Yeah, and I will admit, my plans nearly got ruined because of you and your newfound attachment to Anne," Sasha said. "You wouldn't dare let anything bad happen to her, and did your absolute best to convince her I wasn't a true friend. But in the end, it just wasn't enough."

"You took advantage of her, that's why," Luz said. "You really are controlling!"

"More like, Anne's just smart enough to know who to side with," Sasha said, this line upsetting the girl. "It's a good thing the stuff with Belos and Meteora happened, gave me a new opportunity to keep up this ruse, and make some more allies."

"You double-crosser!" Amity readied her Abomination but Grime was quick to shoulder ram her, then used his hammer to whack Andrias in the stomach.

"Alright, I've had enough of this," Eda said, readying her magic. Before she could strike, she was encased by Rhombulus's crystals.

"No! Eda!" Luz shouted in despair.

"You were all warned, were you not!?" Sasha shouted. "Anyone who causes trouble ends up like Eclipsa and her freakish lover once did."

"Whoa, harsh much!?" Kelly said.

"I don't think they'll cause more trouble," Hekapoo said. "Grime, give the word."

"Gladly," Grime stood over the balcony and roared loudly enough to give signal to Toad spies infiltrating the city as Grime held his hammer to Andrias. "Soldiers of Newtopa, surrender or you will be short one King!"

"Don't listen!" Luz called. "Fight for your-"

Sasha then whacked Luz in the head with the helm of her sword, knocking the girl over.

"Always wanted to do that," Sasha said.,

"Kelly, lets take her down!" Amity called, though took a kick to the head from Hekapoo as the monster girl also took down Kelly with one swift kick.

Marco was about to step in, but Omnitrax stood in his way, "Be smart Marco."

"You know, Star is NOT going to like this," Marco said.

"We know she isn't, honestly that's why we're taking this plan," Hekapoo said. "We're not going to just reshape this kingdom, we're reshaping ours."

"Star's a good kid, but she stepped out of line way too many times," Rhombulus said.

"What's that supposed to mean!?" Kelly asked.

"It means what it sounds like, Star is not suited for leadership, and neither is her mother," Hekapoo said.

"What are you planning? Another switcheroo?" Marco asked.

"Something like that," Hekapoo said. "Believe me though Marco, we're not the bad guys here, anything questionable now has a fitting end goal. Be smart and stay out of our way."

"I am SO disappointed in you!" Marco said, Hekapoo looking notably bothered by hearing that.

"Ignore him H-Poo, and get Andrias cuffed," Sasha said.

"R-right, got it," Hekapoo said as she placed some cuffs on Andrias while her team and some Toad guards kept a watchful eye.

Grime called to his men, "Open the gates!" Two of his disguised Toads had taken down the gatekeepers and opened the door for the oncoming army.

"You think you've won, Grime?" Andrias asked as he was taken away.

"I sure do, soon the rest of my army will be here," Grime said. "If we're lucky, we just might get graced with some Mewman soldiers."

"They wouldn't help you!" Marco said.

"Sure they would, especially if we promised them to be rid of the monsters they hate so much, the ones Queen Star allowed into her Kingdom," Grime said. "Moon going missing was quite the fortunate opportunity for us."

"With any luck, she'll stay missing," Hekapoo said.

"Hekapoo, how could you just say things like that !?" Marco shouted.

"Moon was a conniving sneak, just like her daughter," Hekapoo said. "I haven't seen so much trouble with Mewman Royalty since Eclipsa. When we traded Meteora for Festivia, I figured that would be the end of our problems, clearly it just delayed it."

"Ugh, starting to see why Glossaryck doesn't seem to like any of you," Luz said, the girl slowly standing up. "You must be his biggest regrets."

"What the hell does that old fool know? He's become too emotionally attached to the Butterfly Family, he's no longer seeing the benefit for Mewni like we are," Hekapoo said. "And I'd watch yourself if I were you. Right now The Boiling Isles doesn't have an emperor, which means anyone can swoop in and take over."

"That's actually an awesome idea," Sasha said. "After we take over Newtopia and Mewni, we'll go for The Boiling Isles next."

"You wouldn't!" Luz shouted.

"I would, so learn your place," Sasha warned.

"You won't get away with this!" Andrias said as he was led away.

"Oh be quiet," Grime said. "Guards, find Andrias an extra large cell."

As the King was being taken away, he quickly nodded to Marcy, signaling her on what she needs to do, the girl understanding the order.

"Well everyone, say hello to the new Rulers of Amphibia," Grime said.

"Yeah, sorry things are getting hectic," Sasha said. "Anne, Marcy, you're good right?"

"Uh, excuse me!?" Anne shouted. "Are you being serious right now!?"

"Hey, don't be such a sore loser," Sasha said, this statement enraging Anne. "I know I had to rough up Luz a bit, but you know she deserves it for being such a pain. Same with Amity like, you have no idea how hard it was putting up with those two."

"They're my friends!" Anne shouted. "They're supposed to be your friends too!"

"Hey I never said I wanted to be friends with them, and honestly Amity really isn't much of a friend to you," Sasha said. "Look, we have work to do so how about you go back to Mewni and do whatever, or just go back home and see your families. This Toad Regime will take a while, same with the other takeovers we have planned."

"I am NOT letting you take over Mewni!" Marco shouted. "Or The Boiling Isles for that matter!"

"Not like you can stop us, especially without the help of your precious girlfriend," Sasha said. "BT-Dubs, I'm not talking about Marcy, Mr. Blood Moon Curse."

"Sasha, that was WAY harsh, and you know it!" Anne shouted.

"Fine, it's his problem, not mine," Sasha said. "Though if he breaks Marcy's heart then Grime will break his body."

"With this fancy hammer too," Grime said, Marcy instinctively holding Marco close to her.

"Look, Anne, Marcy, you two are my actual friends, I care about you way more than any of these other losers, aside from Hekapoo," Sasha said.

"And us...right?" Rhombulus said, gesturing to himself and Omnitrax.

"Uh, sure thing big guy, you're at least tight with Grime and that's good enough for me," Sasha said, to the relief of the crystal monster. "Seriously though. Anne, Marcy, you two should join me, it will be fun."

"It would NOT be fun!" Anne shouted. "I will NOT allow you to bully me, Marcy or anyone else just to get what you want!"

"Look, you're upset, I get it," Sasha said. "Maybe you just-"

"No! I am done!" Anne shouted. "I should have listened to Luz! You're clearly a horrible person that I never should have believed in! I'm done trusting you and I'm done being your friend! Quite frankly, I never want to see you again!"

Sasha's eyes widened in shock, genuine hurt appearing on the girl's face. This was felt by everyone present, even the Magic High Commission.

"Anne, you don't mean that," Marcy said. "We can fix this."

"No Marcy, we can't!" Anne said. "You really want to be friends with her? After what she's done? She hurt Luz! She hurt Amity! She's threatening your boyfriend! She's even had Eda turned into crystal!"

"To think, I even considered making finding Belos a top priority so you'd be safe from him, but now you're on your own with that one," Sasha said. "Actually, why don't I just send you home!? Hekapoo, confiscate all their scissors!"

"No problem," Hekapoo said, using some magic to levitate the scissors away from everyone present, despite their protests.

"What are you planning?" Marco asked.

"Anne, if you want to be away from me so badly, then say goodbye to your little Frog family," Sasha said. "Hell say goodbye to all your friends in general. No more Marco, no more Amity, no more Marcy and definitely no more Luz!"

"Wait, you wouldn't!" Anne said.

"My box..." Sasha aimed the music box. "My rules!"

Anne instinctively ran toward the Plantar family, embracing them in a hug.

"Say hello to your parents for me, Anne!" Sasha said, opening the box. However nothing happened. Sasha tried to fix it but nothing came of it. "Well that was embarrassing. Guards, send them to the dungeon."

"What about that witch lady?" one guard asked.

"Leave her, she can make for a fine decoration," Sasha said.

"NO!" Luz shouted, trying to fight the guards away. "I will NOT let you make Eda your personal prisoner!"

"She's more of an item than a person for me, but a personal prisoner isn't so bad," Sasha said. "Guards, keep Luz here, she can keep me company."

"Wait, what are you going to do to her!?" Anne shouted.

"Nothing too bad," Sasha said as Luz was brought to her side. Sasha grabbed the girl by her chin, looking her straight in the eye as she continue to speak to Anne. "I'm just going to teach this wannabe witch her place in this world."

"Get your hands off of her!" Amity shouted, trying to fight the guards as well, but to no avail as she was taken away.

"Luz! Hang in there!" Marco shouted.

"We'll come rescue you! We promise!" Amity called.

"And we'll save Eda too!" King called.

"This isn't over Sasha!" Anne warned as she was pulled away. "THIS ISN'T OVER!"

As the door closed, Sasha sat on her throne, feeling some regret over the situation. She expected her friends to be mad, but she didn't expect to be completely cut off, or rather she hoped it wouldn't come to that.

"You're so gonna regret what you did today," Luz said. "The sad thing is that Anne really wanted to believe you were good too, poor girl's gonna be heartbroken over this."

"Do you ever shut up?" Sasha said, glaring right at Luz. "You know I could have let you into my friend circle if you weren't so judgmental."

"Well considering one of my best friends is a master illusionist, he is quite keen on helping me see through lies and deception," Sasha said. "Ironic, Star is looking for her mother on an island full of scammers, and you just pulled the biggest scam of all, you'd probably put those Pie Folk to shame."

"Whoa, did she really compare Sasha to those freaks?" Rhombulus said. "I haven't seen them since-"

"Since...ever, because we don't associate with those weirdos," Hekapoo abruptly said, focusing back on the witch girl. "Seriously Luz, just play nice for now, and we promise no harm will come to you or Eda."

"What about my Hexside friends?" Luz asked. "Or Lilith! How do you suppose she will react!?"

"Nothing will happen to Lilith either, as for your buddies at Hexside, well that depends on their actions," Hekapoo said.

In the hall, as everyone was being escorted to a dungeon, Anne was still fuming at what her traitorous friend had did.

"I can't believe I trusted her!" Anne shouted in annoyance, panting in frustration. "She is such a jerk!"

"Don't worry Anne, we'll fix this," Marco reassured, seeing the girl huffing in anger. "It's understandable that you're mad but getting worked up won't help."

"Please listen to Marco," Sprig said. "Seriously, you look like you're about to-"

Anne shouted in anger, earning the attention of a nearby guard. "Hey no talking"

Suddenly she headbutted him, knocking the guard into several others, to the surprise of everyone around.

"Whoo! You go girl!" Kelly said. Suddenly she noticed her team being surrounded. "Oh boy..."

"What do you think you're doing!" a guard asked.

Amity looked ready to unleash some defense magic when she saw someone overhead, "Who is..."

The person who dropped in was Yunan, the newt quickly knocking out the Toads, "Ha! Fools!"

"Yunan, is that you?" Marco asked.

"Yes, it is I, General Yunan! The Young-"

"Yunan, they know who you are, now isn't the time for this grand entrance," Olivia said as she activated a secret passage. "We need to go."

Everyone was quick to escape the castle while planning their next move.

On Pie Folk Island, the little pie man was escorting Star and her group across the area.

Not too long later, the group were thrown into a mysterious home, Star quickly facing off against the cloaked figure alongside Gus, Maddie and Willow.

"Hey, I hope you can get a refund," Star said, charging up magic in her hands. "Because you just made a bad purchase."

Suddenly a rubber chicken was thrown at Star's head, much to her confusion.

"The only thing bad..." the cloaked figure removed her hood, revealing herself to be the Butterfly Castle Jester, Foolduke. "Is that check I just wrote! Whoops, I have no money."

Star stared in shock for a second, before being filled with overwhelming glee. "Foolduke!" She immediately ran over to hug her friend.

"Foolduke?" Gus asked.

"We went to her wedding not too long ago," Maddie reminded.

"Oh yeah, the night Marco and Marcy hooked up," Gus said.

"We know that Gus," Star said, slightly annoyed before turning to her friend. "Wait, what are you doing on this island?"

"Thing is...I'm actually from here," Foolduke shamefully admitted.

"Wait, you Pie Folk?" Star asked.

"Sure am, just came to visit the old family," Foolduke said, then called to her parents. "Hey Family! We got company!"

"They got anything good?" Her father asked.

"No! And stop scamming my husband!" Foolduke warned.

"It's fine honey, I think I have a winning streak coming up," Ruberiot said, rolling some dice and coming up short. "Or not..." The musician reluctantly gave up his hat, and it was thrown in a pile with a lot of his former belongings.

"Star, what are you even doing here?" Foolduke asked.

"Looking for my mom," Star said, as she pulled out her only clue.

"That's a pie," Foolduke said, gesturing to the pastry, mistaking Star's meaning.

"We know that..." Maddie said. "Star believes this pie can lead her to her mom."

"How?" Foolduke asked.

"Only my mom makes pies like this," Star said, Foolduke sighing as she made her way to another part of the room. "We just gotta find where she's making them."

"Star..." Foolduke said, pulling a cloth off to reveal more pies exactly like Star's.

"You gotta be kidding me," Gus lamented.

"Wait...did you Queen nap my mom?" Star asked.

"No Star, Pie Folk have been making these types of pies for hundreds of years," Foolduke explained.

"Even with the little butterfly!?" Star asked.

"Actually it's supposed to be a moth," Foolduke said. "Sorry to say Star, but your mom isn't here."

"So we came all this way for nothing?" Gus asked.

"Hey it's a good thing she isn't here," Foolduke said. "I mean, this place is terrible! Ruberiot lost everything except for our hot air balloon!"

"NOOOO!" Ruberiot shouted, Foolduke immediately feeling a sense of worry. "My wife's gonna be mad."

"These people have no limits on who they will scam," Maddie said. "Even family."

"Say, how do you play this game?" River asked, curiously gazing at the dice.

"Hand over that ring and I'll show you," Foolduke's father said.

"Not happening," Willow said, pulling River away. "Star, maybe we should get going then. Hopefully we can find another way off this island."

"I got it under control," Star said, readying her pink cloud.

"Are you gonna be alright for now Foolduke?" Gus asked.

"I'll be fine, growing up here, you learn a thing or two about how to get around," Foolduke said. "I'll be fine. I just gotta win back the stuff Ruberiot lost. Maybe my pet monkey can help."

"You have a pet monkey?" Gus asked.

"He's a little guy with white hair-fur," Foolduke said, immediately worrying Maddie. "I haven't seen him, hopefully he's not scamming or pickpocketing, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was."

"...Well maybe you'll find him, take care," Maddie said, placing an anti-petrification spell in Foolduke's hands.

"Uh, what's this for?" Foolduke asked.

"Oh, it's tradition in Wartwood where I'm from, when you leave someone's house, you give that someone an anti-petricication spell as a sign of good will."

"Huh? What for?" Foolduke asked.

"Because...social interaction can make people so uncomfortable they freeze up like they're petrified," Maddie said. "This is to show that I felt comfortable around you, hehe."

"Hm, well if it's tradition, then I'll take it," Foolduke said, much to the girl's relief. "Thanks Maddie."

"No problem," Maddie said, nervously making her exit." Let's hurry up Star, Queen Moon isn't going to find herself!"

Not too long later, Star and company were flying home on Star's companion Cloudy while the Princess still looked very depressed.

"So, what now?" Gus asked.

"Now, we sleep," River said, the man in tears and covering up. "Until the pain goes away!"

Star placed her head down in shame as tears strolled down while Willow did her best to cheer the girl up.

"Hey, don't be sad, things will work out," Willow gently stroked her back.

"Yeah, we'll get a new lead soon," Gus said, then overheard Star sniffling. "Uh, are you alright there?"

Star perked her head up, still sniffling, soon joined by her father as both sniffed the air.

"What's happening?" Gus asked.

"You smell that dad?" Star asked.

"Yes, I recognize that particular blend of cinnamon and cardamom anywhere!" River said.

"Foolduke's pies didn't smell like that, mom's here," Star said. "Cloudy, take us into that volcano."

"Okay!" Cloudy said, leading them toward the volcano.

"Wait, volcano!?" Gus asked. "I don't think this is a good idea!"

"Too late we're flying in!" Maddie said as Cloudy descended.

"Does everyone have their emergency captive meat?" River asked, pulling a drumstick out of his beard.

"Yes dad," Star stated in a deadpanned tone.

"Wait, seriously?" Gus asked. "Also should you be eating stuff you keep in your beard?"

"In dire times my boy, you will eat anything," River said, when suddenly everyone fell off after a hard thump.

"Whoops, sorry, I didn't see the ground there," Cloudy said.

"It's fine," Willow said, then noticed that Star had gone to look over a cliff.

"Whoa..." Star commented, seeing all the workers preparing their pies.

Maddie looked overhead, glancing at how everyone worked, "Something tells me my dad would love this place...aside from the fact that it's in a volcano and he will shrivel up like a raisin, but still."

"Are they using dirt?" Gus asked.

"Shush!" Star ordered, holding her ear out. "That song..."

"Song?" Gus asked. "You mean the humming?"

"It's her..." Star found who she was looking for. "It's really her!"

Indeed, one of the cooks below was Moon Butterfly, the woman seen placing several pies in the oven without a care in the world.

In Newtopia, the team was seen hiding in an abandoned store, Sprig looking out the window, "There's a whole lot of Toads out there."

"And we still have an army coming too," Hop Pop said.

"It's a full-on Toad rebellion," Marcy said.

"Wow, and just the other day we were fighting an army of Coven Guards," Kelly said. "Only this time, it's just us. Which is fine but it will require a lot of work, and we still have Sasha and her team to worry about."

"I don't suppose your dog friend is on standby?" Amity said.

"You mean Jorbie? Unfortunately not, sometimes he's off doing his own thing, we usually coordinate when it's time for battle," Kelly said. "And since our scissors got taken, we can't go to him for help."

"Or anyone for that matter," King added.

"Don't worry, I have a simple plan that will solve all of this," Marcy said, grabbing a telescope. "From the looks of things, I'd say it'd be about an hour before the rest of Grime's army arrives. We just need to close the gate before then before we're overrun."

"That is kind of simple actually," Amity said.

"But, there's a little bit more to that," Marcy said. "We also have to free King Andrias, defeat Sasha, Grime and The Magic High Commission, save Luz and Eda, work through our emotional baggage, ensure the mewman army doesn't get involved, and redesign the political system so this type of uprising never happens again!"

"Never mind...that isn't simple," Amity said. "But, it does need to be done. I mean that last part can be figured out by the politicians but everything else seems doable now."

"Are you sure about that, Amity?" Polly asked. "I'm not sure if we can pull this off."

"You can't mean that, Polly," Anne said. "Look, they may believe we're just a weak little frog family, a clumsy nerd, a big metal baby, a dorky witch, wannabe tough guy, a girl with poofy, a dog and a goofy push-over but they have no idea who they're dealing with."

"Wait, am I the wannabe tough guy, or is that King?" Marco asked.

"Depends, do you want to be 'the dog'?" King asked.

"Let Anne finish," Amity said.

"My point is that we've been through a lot so far," Anne said. "We recently saved Mewni from Emperor Belos and his Coven, we fought Meteora, we've had several adventures even before most of us knew each other. We've already been through a lot, and if there's one thing I learned from our friend Marco here is that nothing is impossible with the right kind of determination."

"You got that from me?" Marco asked.

"Of course, you didn't back down when it came to Meteora, or rescuing me and the girls from The Neverzone," Anne said. "If you can maintain that determination, so can I."

"Wow, guess I'm a good influence," Marco said. "So, do you have a plan, Anne?"

"Sure do, huddle up," Anne said.

For the first part of the plan, down in the Dungeon area as the guards watched over Andrias, Hop Pop made his presence known, alerting all of the guards.

"Hey, what do you think you're doing!" Many of the guards slowly approached while aiming their spears.

Hop Pop, now dressed like an olde theater actor, amped up the drama of his arrival, "I have lost my pet spider, Charlie Big Bottom!"

Nearby, Olivia along with Kelly and Marcy were keeping an eye out, the Lady newt looking annoyed.

"This will never work," Olivia said.

"Uh, you sure about that? Because, it looks like it is," Kelly said, gesturing to the fact that Hop Pop's performance was getting all the guards in tears and away from Andrias's cell.

"Hop Pop's good," Marcy said as she joined in sneaking to Andrias's cell.

Elsewhere while some Toads were playing cards, Polly landed on a set of them, armed with a tiny dagger, fully getting their attention, "Get ready for the pain!"

The Toads stared for a second before they started laughing at the sight of the little frog girl. Though the laughter died down the moment Yunan, Marco and Frobo showed up, each of them ready to fight.

"This wannabe tough guy, is a genuine tough guy!" Marco shouted, aiming his sword.

"Confidence is silent, Marco," Polly said.

"I wholeheartedly disagree with that," Yunan said as she leapt into attack. "Fear my power!"

Polly and Marco joined in the melee while Frobo used his missiles to attack, driving the enemies back.

Nearby Anne, along with Amity, Sprig and King were near the gate.

"Your plan's working perfectly, Anne," Spig said.

"That's good," Anne said, the girl looking up at the gate, feeling determined to end this. "Now lets get this gate shut down."

"Better make it fast, Luz is still at Sasha's mercy," Amity said, thinking back to her crush. "I hope she's alright."

"We'll save her, but if we don't stop the Toad army, we're going to be overwhelmed," Anne said. "Luz will be fine, I don't think anything really bad will happen to her."

"For all we know, she's probably about to free herself," King said. "Luz is really clever like that after all."

"I hope you're right," Amity said, following her team.

Once at the top, the four were quick to move the lever, but were having a hard time getting the door to close.

"This...isn't...working!" King said, trying to push.

"My little arms..." Sprig lamented before stopping.

"Why is this thing so heavy?" Anne asked. "Amity, can your Abomination thing move it?"

"Yeah, it should be able to work," Amity said, summoning her monster.

As she did that, Anne looked overhead and noticed something irritating, "There's a doorstop!"

"Wait really?" Amity asked, looking overhead. "Wow, that is a huge doorstop."

"Marco!" Anne called, getting the boy's attention. "Can you move that doorstop!?"

"How'd they even get a doorstop that big?" Marco wondered. "Eh, worry about that later. Team get this doorstop out of the way!"

"On it!" Polly said, as she along with Yunan and Frobo worked together to move it.

Meanwhile back in the throne room, Sasha was seen sadly playing with the music box while Luz sat near her chair, her hands and feet chained together.

The young witch girl constantly glanced towards the crystalized Eda, wondering if there was a way to free her mentor. Not that it mattered, she had no way to even escape. Not to mention she wasn't sure what was going to happen to Anne and the others.

"You look bored," Sasha said, getting her attention.

"Sorry, am I supposed to be feeling excited right now?" Luz sarcastically asked.

"Well, I guess not, I did take you prisoner," Sasha said. "I had plans to torture you too but...honestly I'm not even in the mood."

"Wow, how concerning..." Luz said. "So I'm just gonna be stuck sitting here because you're not in the mood to do anything."

"Hey if you want I can get you out of those clothes and into a skimpy bikini, probably make for some good eye candy," Sasha said.

"Creep," Luz said. "Though after how you treated Anne…"

"She's the one who hurt me! Telling me that she didn't want to be my friend, after everything I've done for her too," Sasha said.

"Like what? Always ordering her around? Trying to take over her band? Forcing her to shoplift on her birthday?" Luz asked. "She really cared about you too, she never liked when anyone said something bad about you because she wanted to believe you had good in you."

"Well sorry to disappoint," Sasha said, sighing in frustration. "But, you know, I do care about Anne. Even if it doesn't seem that way, she means a lot to me."

"Then why do you treat her the way you do?" Luz asked. "You staged a whole rebellion right under our noses, what made you think Anne would have been happy?"

"...Honestly, I don't know anymore," Sasha said, the girl laying back in shame.

Luz pitied the girl a bit, angry as she felt at her, she just couldn't ignore Sasha in her state of sadness. Granted she knew there was a possibility that Sasha could be faking this for sympathy, Luz's compassion outweighed her suspicion.

"Look, why don't you just go to the dungeon and try talking things out with Anne, she's probably calmed down enough for you two to work things out," Luz said.

"No way, it'd be too awkward to do that now," Sasha said.

"Don't you still want her to be friends with you?" Luz asked.

"Of course I do," Sasha said. "The thing is-"

"Ahem..." Grime said, getting their attention. "Pardon the interruption, but I got you something Sasha, just to commemorate the occasion."

"Whoa really?" Sasha asked, grabbing the present box. Unwrapping it she found a silver sword. "Aw, Grimsey, how'd you know I wanted to dual wield?"

"Wait, you wanted to use two swords?" Luz asked.

"I tried it out a bit in the Neverzone. Still this looks really..." Sasha looked at her sad reflection in the sword. "Great..."

"Oh, do you not like it?" Grime asked. "Ugh, and I didn't get a receipt either."

"Wait, you didn't make the sword?" Luz asked.

"What am I, a blacksmith?" Grime asked. "I use weapons, I don't make them."

"The sword's fine, Grime," Sasha said. "It's just that, Luz and I were talking, I just wonder if I really am as bad as Anne says I am?"

"This witch getting in your head?" Grime asked. "She just wants to dampen your victory."

"Is this so-called victory really want you want?" Luz asked.

"I honestly don't even know what I want at this point," Sasha said.

"Look, come help me redecorate this place," Grime said. "Rhombulus already got a head start."

"Yeah, sure," Sasha said, standing up and grabbing Luz's chain. "You stay with me."

"Gonna be hard to walk like this," Luz said, gesturing to her foot chain.

"Oh right, Grime free her," Sasha said. "Just the legs, keep her hands bound."

"Fine with me," Grime said, kneeling by Luz. "Now, no kicking young lady."

"No promises," Luz said.

Grime grabbed his key to free the young girl, though the moment she could move her leg, she kicked the toad in the face, much to his annoyance

"What did I say about the kicking!?" Grime shouted.

"I said 'no promises'!" Luz said.

"Come on," Sasha said, pulling Luz with her.

"Pesky kids," Grime lamented as he followed.

In another room, Rhombulus and Hekapoo were seen moving some furniture under the watchful eye of Omnitrax Prime.

"You know you can help us, right?" Hekapoo said.

"Sorry, no hands," Omnitrax said.

"That's such a load of crap!" Hekapoo said. Moments later she spotted her human friend. "Hey Sash, here to join us?"

"Yeah, we were just about to bring down this cheesy tapestry," Rhombulus said, gesturing to Andrias with rainbows and happiness.

"Wow, so dumb," Sasha said.

"Eh, I think it's kind of cute," Luz said.

"Which is why you aren't part of the redecorating," Sasha said as she, Grime, Hekapoo and Rhombulus pulled down the tapestry revealing a sinister painting of Andrias with the Calamity Box, holding it triumphantly over his head.

"Uh...is that the King? With the music box?" Sasha asked.

"Did he...use it for evil?" Hekapoo asked.

"You know, he did seem familiar to me before," Omnitrax said.

"Familiar how!?" Hekapoo asked.

"The story of this tyrant king who sought to rule the multiverse with his Music Box of Calamity, but I thought it was just a legend," Omnitrax said.

"Wait, if you knew about this story before and you saw Andrias looking like this figure from the story, why didn't you say anything!?" Hekapoo asked.

"No one asked," Omnitrax said.

Hekapoo's eye twitched, "...ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS RIGHT NOW!?"

Luz looked surprised by what she was seeing, this seemingly nice King being a potential tyrant, "Can this be real? There's no way it can be..."

"Looks pretty real to me," Sasha said. "Andrias may not be what he seems to be."

"But..." Luz had memories of Belos, she recalled that he too seemed to pose as a benevolent being, but that was clearly a lie. "No way, not Andrias too. He helped us, didn't he? He sent his army to protect us from Belos! His top general, Yunan, she helped fight against Meteora. Andrias can't be evil like Belos is!"

"No one wants to believe it but it looks to be true," Hekapoo said.

"Wow, good thing we put that guy in the dungeon then," Grime said. "In a way, this makes us real heroes. That will surely win us over, especially once my army comes by. We're liberating Newtopia, so horray for us."

"Uh, one problem," Rhombulus said, gesturing outside to Anne, Amity, Spig and King closing the gates.

"Wait, they escaped!?" Sasha shouted.

"I knew they would!" Luz said. "Nothing keeps Anne down, especially with Marco by her side."

"You are aware that if they close that gate, then the King, who we just found out is evil, will regain control of the city," Andrias reminded.

"Oh, right," Luz said. "Set me free, I can go warn Anne."

"Or you can double cross us later," Rhombulus said.

"Hey, you're in no position to be talking about double crossing!" Luz shouted.

"Grime and I can handle this, you stay here," Sasha said as she and Grime leapt out the window.

"Wait!" Luz shouted, running to the window. "You really think Anne will trust your word!?"

"Alright, change of plans then," Hekapoo said. "Omnitrax, Rhombulus, take some guards and do away with that King, I'll take Luz here back to the throne room and join up with Sasha later to deal with Anne and her rebellion."

"You know that includes Marco, your friend!" Luz shouted.

"Watch yourself, I'm not as nice as Sasha," Hekapoo said, leading Luz away. "Get to it boys!"

"You got it!" Rhombulus said.

As Luz got led away by Hekapoo, the girl again tried voicing her opinion, "You know if Star does find her mother, what's to stop Queen Moon from banishing the lot of you for treason?"

"Geez, you and your mouth," Hekapoo said.

"I'm just putting it out there, she might be mad," Luz said.

"I will deal with Star and Moon when the time comes, until then..." Hekapoo kicked Luz inside the throne room, the girl falling to her knees. "Keep your damn mouth shut."

"Alright, fine, Hekapoo," Luz said. "You seem tense, maybe you should...chill out."

"Why did you say that like you're setting up some type of-" Hekapoo then took a blast of ice magic, Luz, using a bit of that to freeze her cuffs and break them apart.

"Now to go help Anne," Luz was about to leave but Hekapoo broke free of the ice that overwhelmed her, the woman looking furious.

"I am so going to annihilate you!" Hekapoo shouted, grabbing her scissors. "Don't blame me if you suffer a permanent injury."

"Fine, I'll hold you off first," Luz said, bringing out more glyphs. "Show me what you got!"

The two began their clash, Luz tried to overwhelm Hekapoo with as many elemental Glyphs as possible, but the monster girl wasn't having it. She managed to bypass everything and knock Luz back.

Luz grabbed an invisibility glyph and used it on herself, confusing Hekapoo for the moment.

"Where the hell did you-" Suddenly Hekapoo took a few punches to the stomach, and the face, and even getting kicked to the ground.

Moments later, Luz took a moment to catch her breath, this dissipating the spell and left her open for a blast from Hekapoo.

"I really don't want to hurt you too much, but you're not leaving me much choice!" Hekapoo sent some clones to strike, each of them attacking Luz, but the witch girl sent them all flying away with some vines, wiping a bit of blood off her mouth.

"That all you got!?" Luz shouted, the two rushing to attack each other yet again.

Nearby however, some mysterious figures showed up, one of a man, a young boy and a kappa, each of them setting their sights on the fight.

"Luz and Hekapoo, how interesting..."

Outside, Grime had landed on the wall to the top of the gate entrance with Sasha still on his back. He then propelled her to the top of the wall, landing before Anne and her team.

"Sasha!" Amity shouted, readying some magic while Anne brought out her sword, Sprig brought out his slingshot and King held up his fists.

"Whoa, I don't wanna fight," Sasha insisted, holding her hands up. "See?"

"Careful, it might be a trick," Amity said.

"Anne!" King said, gesturing to Grime.

"Don't worry, I got him," Sprig said, leaping down toward Grime.

"I'll back you up!" King said, leaping down as well.

Sasha figured now was as good of a time as any to say what she needed to say, "Anne, there's something strange about this King Andrias guy, I think he might be up to something."

"Uh, do you expect me to believe you? After all the lying you did?" Anne asked. "Sorry, but you're out of chances."

"Luz saw it too, if you come back she can vouch for me," Sasha said.

"She's just playing to our emotions," Amity said, readying some fire. "Anne, try closing that gate, I'll hold Sasha off."

Sasha brought her swords out, "I can't let either of you do that."

"It's two against one, I don't care how good you think you are! You can't beat us both!" Amity said. "You should have brought your girlfriend with you."

"Who? You mean Hekapoo? Yeah I could have brought my friend but I didn't! Because I never came here for a fight, you two are drawing my hand!" Sasha said.

"You brought this on yourself," Amity said.

"Fine, I'll beat some sense into you then!" Sasha shouted, rushing in with both swords, though before Amity could fight, Anne jumped over and tried to attack with her own sword, Sasha immediately blocking.

"Amity! Turn the wheel!" Anne ordered. "I'll keep Sasha back!"

"Got it," Amity said, moving the wheel.

Anne and Sasha exchanged sword clashes, the latter trying to bind Anne's hands, "Please! Listen!"

"Not this time!" Anne kicked Sasha back and went to attack some more. Sasha took note of Amity turning the wheel as well, trying to figure things out. She let herself get close and once Anne tried to attack again, she sidestepped and allowed Anne to nearly run into Amity.

"Watch out!" Anne shouted, Amity immediately moving out the way. "That was-"

Sasha kicked Anne down, then focused on Amity, "Ready to listen to reason!?"

"Oh now you want to be reasonable? Not a chance!" Amity tried attacking with her abomination while Sasha rolled out the way, using her sword to block Amity's strikes while Anne rushed in and attacked as well, Sasha leaping back and trying to figure out the situation.

Meanwhile before, as Grime was climbing the wall, both Sprig and King jumped and landed on him, all three falling on a roof.

Grime was the first to stand up, bringing out his hammer, "You know, I almost feel bad for doing this."

"Oh boy," King said as he and Sprig dodged out of the way of an attack.

"King! Distract him!" Sprig said, grabbing his slingshot.

King stood before Grime, "I should warn you, I'm Demon Royalty."

"I've taken down one King today, taking you down will be a breeze!" Grime slammed his hammer down but King quickly dodged and leapt in to scratch Grime in the face. "Why you-" Suddenly he took a slingshot to the eye. "UGH! My one good eye!"

"Nice one," King said as he ran in to kick Grime in the leg, forcing him to lose the grip on his hammer as it fell on his head, knocking him out.

"Ha, we did it!" Sprig said, fist bumping King.

"Wow, we took down a general together, and everyone thought we'd be useless on adventures," King said.

"Totally...you know, now that we're alone, I gotta ask, are you actually dating my sister?" Spig asked.

"Is now really the time to be asking!?" King shouted in annoyance, then ran off. "Come on! Anne and Amity need us!"

"Right," Sprig said, following King.

Above Sasha is still fending off Anne and Amity, though between one girl's magic and the other's sword skills, the blonde fighter was beginning to lose ground. She had no allies nearby, and wasn't sure how to progress this.

"What can I do to make you girls listen!?" Sasha asked, leaping back.

"There's nothing you can do!" Anne shouted, as Amity used her monster to grab Sasha's wrist while Anne kicked one of her swords away. "Face it, you can't beat us both, so do me a favor, and take a hike."

"You're not taking this Kingdom, if I were you, I'd go back home," Amity said.

"The hell I am!" Sasha shouted, using a dagger to cut off the abomination's hand, the monster immediately growing a second.

"Anne, I know I messed up, but you really need to believe me," Sasha said. "Everything I did wasn't to hurt you! I just wanted us to rule together!"

"Sasha, give it a rest," Amity said. "You've given us no reason to trust you, and at this point I think Anne's just tired of the lack of consistency."

"I know who my real friends are," Anne said. "That's Marcy, Luz, Marco, and even Amity here. Even if we don't always get along, at least she's honest with me, which is more than I can say about you."

Sasha knew this situation was bad, she didn't know how to reason with either girl. Suddenly she heard a name call out to her, "Sasha!"

"Rhombulus?" Sasha turned to see the member of the Magic High Commision climbing up the wall. "I thought I told you to check in on Andrias with Omnitrax?"

"We did, but on the way there, a Toad said he escaped, so I came to warn you," Rhombulus said, then noticed the other two girls. "Oh, are you fighting?"

"Yes! Crystalize them before they close the gate!" Sasha ordered.

"I don't think so," Amity said, turning her monster toward Rhombulus, the commission member clashing with the behemoth.

Sasha saw that Amity was distracted, and tried to take advantage but Anne slid past her and grabbed her cape to fling it over her head, blinding Sasha long enough to deliver an uppercut that knocked her former friend down.

"Sasha!" Rhombulus tried to go for Anne but Amity dashed before him and did a fire blast that knocked him off the wall.

"Quick, the gate!" Amity said, the two finally closing the doors leading into Newtopia.

Meanwhile Andrias had emerged from the sewers, holding an unconscious Omnitrax and blowing a horn, "Royal New Guards! Assemble!"

Within seconds, all the newts immediately turned the tables on the toads, leading to a new surrender.

"End of the line Sasha," Anne said, much to Sasha's worry.

"Not good," Sasha said. "So not good."

Back on Pie Island.

"MOM!" Star shouted, Maddie immediately placing her hand over her mouth. "Ew, let go!" Star shouted, prying Maddie away and spitting a bit. "I better not get warts from that."

"How dare you!" Maddie shouted.

"Star, I know you're happy we found your mom, but try not to blow it just yet," Gus said, then heard some rustling. He turned to see that River was beating up some guards.

"Oh dad! Good idea!" Star said. "We can steal their clothes to use as disguises!"

"Uh...right, that's what I was doing," River said.

"Star, you tried disguises once, it didn't work," Gus said. "Look, just let me use my illusion magic, I can temporarily change our appearance long enough for you to make it to your mom."

"Assuming that even works," Maddie said. "I mean, doesn't the magic realm totally mess with your memory? Suppose it had lasting damage?"

"Maddie!" Willow scolded.

"Hey you have to be aware of the possibilities," Maddie said.

"Look, I'll just put on a disguise and go check," Star said, grabbing a hat and apron.

"Star! My illusion!" Gus said.

"Yes, I'm sure it's really nice Gus," Star said, immediately running down below, leaving everyone behind.

"...So like, what exactly did she need any of us for?" Gus asked.

"She's going to screw up somehow," Maddie said. "Gus, Willow, get your magic ready."

Star ran over to Moon, immediately greeting her, "Hi mom!"

"Mom?" Moon turned to curiously face Star. "Is that what you call me?"

"No," Star gleefully said and ran back to her friends, confusing Moon.

"That was peculiar," Moon resumed her work with the pies.

Star returned to her team, each of them awaiting her response, "So...my mom's completely lost her memory."

"So now what?" Maddie asked.

"Now, we do this," Star ditched her disguise, forming rainbows on her fists as she ran in to attack. "Take this!"

"Star! Are you nuts!?" Gus shouted.

"Incoming," Maddie said, grabbing some potions and petrifying a couple of chefs. "You two, fight!"

"Right," Gus said, using his magic to disorient some of the chefs while Willow used her vines to attack.

"Bunny Rabbit Blast!" Star knocked several chefs away with a colorful beam of bunnies. "Tiara Tornado!" She then blew away several other chefs, save for one. "Super Geyser Windstorm!"

"Why is she naming all her attacks!?" Gus asked, knocking some chefs back. "That's not as entertaining as it is in Luz's anime!"

"Oh let her have some fun," Maddie said, blinding a few chefs with her smoke.

Star then grabbed Moon with a sack, "Sorry mom!" She then quickly left with her friends, despite some Chefs blocking her path. "Starfish Tsunami!"

With them out the way, they were almost clear as they made their way toward River.

"Dad! We got mom! Let's go!" Star said.

"You got Moon?" River said as Star pulled her mom out of the sack. "My Moonpie!"

"Huh? I'm not a pie," Moon said as River hugged her.

"Where's Cloudy?" Star asked, taking note that her traveling cloud is eating a bunch of pies. "Cloudy!"

"So much pie..." Cloudy said, still eating everything, despite nearly getting sick.

"Great, now he's nauseous," Gus lamented, then saw chefs surrounding the group. "Star, got any other ideas?"

"What is happening?" Moon asked.

"That is what I would like to know," Came the voice of the Pie King, the ruler of the island making his way over.

"You! What are you doing here!?" Star asked.

"Granting you my Royal Audience," The Pie King said, showing off his crown. "I am a King you know."

"You do not look like a King, even with that crown," Maddie said.

"Doesn't matter, point is you seem too eager to 'rescue' the Sky Baker, when she isn't even here against her will," The Pie King said.

"Sky Baker?" Gus asked.

"She fell from the Sky, and she Bakes, so Sky Baker," Pie King said.

"Oh...that makes sense, I think," Gus said.

"Hardly!" Star shouted. "She's my mom! And she's the Queen!"

"Me? A Queen?" Moon asked.

"Yeah, well you're not right now, I am, but once we get you back home, you can be Queen again!" Star said.

"Grace your Kingdom with your infinite beauty my dear!" River said.

"Infinite beauty?" Gus asked.

"It's sweet and you know it," Willow said.

Star stepped to the Pie King, "My mom does not belong here, she belongs back home, in The Crown City of Mewni!"

"Funny that you think that way, guess you don't know the full story about your ancestry," Pie King said.

"Ancestry?" Star asked. "What about it?"

"Are you aware that somewhere along your family's line, there was a baby switch?" The Pie King asked.

"Yeah, I already know about that," Star said.

"But, how do you know? I figured it wasn't common knowledge," Maddie said.

"To most Mewmans, it isn't, but to us, it's a big deal," The Pie King said, revealing a giant Pie Wheel. "Behold, the Pie of Truth!"

"Ugh, getting really sick of pies," Maddie lamented.

"Long ago, a poor Pie Folk Girl got lost in the mainland of Mewni, having accidentally been left behind by a Pie Carnival," The Pie King said. "She was taken in by Mewni's King at the time, and raised by the Magic High Commission, with no one in Mewni knowing she wasn't of Royal Blood. The young girl's name, was Festivia, and she went on to become Queen of Mewni. Meaning that your great, great, etcetera granny was Pie Folk, meaning you and the Sky Baker are Pie Folk too!"

"No! Impossible!" River shouted. "My wife is NOT one of you dirty Pie Mongers!"'

"Then why did she end up here?" Pie King pointed out.

"I...don't know," Star said, then turned to Moon. "But mom! This isn't your home! Don't you remember Mewni?"

"I only know how to make pies," Moon said.

"Delicious ones too," Pie King said. "Would you perchance make some more? They're the best Pies we've had in years."

"Wait, hold on," Willow said. "Regardless of where Queen Moon came from, her home is in Mewni's Mainland, not here. You're not just taking Mewni's Queen, you're taking a woman away from her husband and daughter!"

"Nothing's stopping her so-called family from moving here," Pie King said. "The Butterfly lineage switched once, I'm sure you can switch it again. Just find another little girl to turn into Queen."

"It doesn't work like that! Moon has responsibilities to her home and her family!" Willow said. "Keeping her here is just selfish!"

"I see it as justice," Pie King said. "The Magic High Commission took Festivia, so we're taking back her descendants."

"I'm quite happy here too," Moon said. "I should go make more pies."

"Wait, Your Highness!" Gus said, then found himself surrounded. "Hey, back off!"

"Sorry you came all this way, I do hope you find your mother, young child," Moon said.

"But...mom," Star said.

"Hey! We came all this way and we're not going back empty-handed!" Maddie shouted, bringing out some magic bombs. "These spells can hold anything! It could petrify you, it can cause fire, or ice, or acid, or who knows, someone could grow several hundred feet high. Only I know what will happen, and if you don't want to find out-"

Before a fight could break out, Stat interrupted, "Maddie, it's fine. Maybe mom will be happier here. Better than the nonsense of being Queen."

"But Star, don't you want your mother back?" Gus asked.

"I do, but I don't want to be selfish," Star said.

"Star, it's not selfish to want your mother back," Willow said. "I mean, if I had a mom, I'd want her around."

"Oh, something happened to your mother? I'm so sorry," Star said.

"Well I meant that I have two dads," Willow said.

"Two fathers? That's just unusual," Pie King said.

"...Ignoring that, Star you have a right to have your mom back," Willow said.

Star looked back at Moon, the woman happily preparing pies. "I can't...I don't feel right taking her from this."

"Star..." Gus said, the boy pitying his friend. "If that's what you want, we'll respect that."

"Thanks Gus," Star said, looking back to her mother, overhearing the humming. "Over and under, and through and through...Grab the little Mewni rabbit, and pull it through..."

Moon stopped humming, looking back at Star as she began to sing along on instinct, "Pinch it and gold it, and tie it in a bow..."

"What's going on?" Gus wondered.

The mother and daughter doing began to sing together, "Like two little bunny ears, made out of dough..." The two began working on a pie together. "Over and under, wherever you roam. Sweet little Mewni rabbit, hop back home."

"That's so cute!" Willow said, the girl a bit teary eyed.

"Yes, so cute, now the Sky Baker has more pies to make," the Pie King said.

"Actually, I kind of want to go back with these children," Moon said. "We can sing songs together."

"It's a start," Maddie said. "Well you heard the Queen, she wants to come with us."

"No way, her pies make us a lot of cash, I am NOT giving that up!" Pie King said. "Seize her!"

Willow quickly used her magic to bind them in vines while Gus created several illusions of him and his friends.

"Run!" Gus led his friends one way while the clones went another.

"Split up! Find the real ones!" Pie King said as everyone marched to their orders.

Star and her friends took advantage of the confusion, making their way up the cliffs while all the Pie Folk scrambled to find the real ones.

"Getting closer, come on!" Star said.

"I see a few!" a chef said.

"Shooting Star Explosion!" Star shouted, sending a blast at some chefs while Maddie sent some bombs that caused explosions of water that knocked everyone back.

"Almost out," Gus said, nearing the top.

"Uh, problem," Willow said, gesturing to the Pie King and a catapult with a giant pie.

"That's not good," Star said.

"Time for your just desserts!" The Pie King said, feeling momentarily confused when he saw a rubber chicken, then took a whack to the head, courtesy of Foolduke in a hot air balloon.

"Ha! I just committed treason against my King!" Foolduke cheered, then turned to Ruberiot. "What'd I say, husband?"

Ruberiot sighed in slight annoyance, "The rubber chicken was-"

"A good idea!" Foolduke finished, flying the balloon to Star and her team, allowing them quick access into her balloon, Willow using her vines to make a bridge. "Everyone on board?"

"Yeah, let's get the hell out of here already," Maddie said. "Tired of these Pie Folk."

"Why are they baking in a volcano anyway?" Gus wondered. "Wouldn't that lava make them all hot?"

"Technically when it's inside a volcano, it's considered magma," Willow said.

"Even more technically, it's actually Lukewarm Tomato Sauce," Foolduke pointed out.

"...It's what?" Gus asked.

"This place is so weird," Maddie said.

"Yeah, I hate coming here," Foolduke admitted.

Star turned her attention to Moon, "So...how are you feeling? I know this is probably a lot for you."

"I think I'll be fine," Moon said. "It's quite funny though. I have no idea what will happen, but I have this feeling that no matter what, it's going to be okay because I'm meant to be here with you."

"Aw, mom," Star hugged Moon, just the same as River.

"Happy ending," Gus said.

Star turned to the magical trio beside her, "Thank you so much, you've done so much for me. Willow, Gus, I can see why Luz likes you two so much. You're very dependable. And Maddie, Anne was right in that you're pretty cool yourself."

"It's nothing," Maddie said. "Wonder how everyone else is doing?"

"Yeah, I'm a bit worried about Marco," Star said. "I mean, I should be happy, but I still have this nagging feeling about his trip to Amphibia."

"He's just delivering that music box, nothing bad's gonna happen," Gus said.

Later on at the Newtopia castle throne room, everyone had assembled, with Sasha, Rhombulus and Omnitrax bounded.

"Polly, stop scratching your butt, the king is almost here," Sprig ordered.

"Anyone seen Luz?" Anne asked. "We can't find her."

"That's what I want to know," Marco said, turning to the tied-up Sasha. "What did you do to Luz?"

"I didn't do anything bad if that's what you're wondering, I told Hekapoo to take her to safety," Sasha said.

"Safety?" Marco asked.

"From the King! He's evil!" Sasha said.

"Ugh, that story again? I'll give you credit for consistency," Amity said.

Moments later, Andrias arrived with Hop Pop, Olivia, Kelly and Marcy, the latter running to hug Anne, then give Marco a quick kiss while the grandfather of two hugged his own family.

"Okay, let's do this," Andrias said.

"Wait, shouldn't we wait for Luz?" Marco asked.

"She'll probably be here momentarily," Andrias said. "Now Anne, the Music Box."

"Anne wait! Seriously, don't give that thing to him!" Sasha said.

"Someone shut her up already," Amity said. "Face it, you lost. Now we're going to give Andrias the box, and we're going to send you back home after we report The Magic High Commission for treason."

"Good luck, Star's actually a little buddy of mine, she won't stay mad long," Rhombulus said.

"...Yeah, I doubt that," Amity said, then turned to Anne. "Look, just give Andrias the box, he's waited long enough. We'll find Luz afterwards, assuming she didn't already escape."

"Right," Anne said, handing the box over to Andrias. "Alright, there you go big guy. Do you need anything else from us?"

"No, this journey is done," Andrias said. "But, before you leave, would you mind hearing a tale from long past?"

"Is this gonna take long?" Marco asked.

"Fret not, I'll keep it as short and I can, dear boy," Andrias said. "Eons ago, Newtopia was actually a great place, one of the finest cities in Amphibia, and the envy of all the realms. But, that greatness was taken from us."

"Ooh, drama, this sounds interesting," Kelly said.

"It is a great tale, young one," Andrias said. "Centuries of prosperity brought to an end, because of me. I was weak, trusting those who claimed to be my friends, and due to that, the music box was stolen from me. It cost us everything, and after a thousand years, our legacy remains forgotten. But now, with it back, Newtopia will be returned to glory!"

"Well that sounds nice," Hop Pop said, somewhat oblivious to the tone.

"Something's not right..." Anne commented.

"My ancestors were not frail explorers, they were glorious conquerors!" Andrias said, bringing up a pillar and placing the calamity box on it, activating power throughout the castle as it lifted off the ground.

Several factories reactivated, robot frogs being assembled, as they flew to the castle as the building flew over Amphibia.

"Wow, we're really high up here," Sprig said, then leapt out the way of some robots.

"Sorry, I can't let anyone leave, don't want the secret of the invasion getting out," Andrias said.

"Invasion!?" Amity asked.

"That's right, with my box back, I can finish my ancestors' work," Andrias said. "I will rule not only this world, but all worlds! Including Earth, Mewni and The Demon Realm!"

"You can't be serious! He's evil!?" Kelly shouted. "We just aided an evil king in his conquest!?"

"Yeah, kind of," Andrias cheekily stated.

"I can't believe this! Two betrayals back-to-back!" Marco shouted.

"To be fair, Sasha did tried to warn you all," Rhombulus said. "So this is kind of your fault."

"Put a sock in it!" Anne shouted. "Look, let's just focus on stopping Andrias."

"You believe you can stop me? Behold my power!" Andrias said, pressing a button and activating a laser that destroyed North Toad Tower.

"NO!" Grime shouted in worry.

"What have you done!?" Amity shouted.

"Minor demonstration, should make for good practice when I destroy Butterfly Castle," Andrias said. "Queen Moon certainly picked a bad time to go missing, now her Kingdom is Defenseless, save for her inexperienced little daughter."

"You better not hurt Star!" Marco shouted.

"Anne, we gotta stop this guy!" Sasha said.

"I can't believe this happened, right under our noses!" Anne said. "I'm sorry Sasha, I should have listened to you!"

"It's fine, I didn't give you much reason to trust me," Sasha said. "But we can still fix this, grab the Calamity Box from him!"

"Suddenly that name is quite fitting," Amity said, readying some magic. "But all the same, lets take this King down!"

"Wait!" Marcy said, standing before Andrias. "Please, don't fight!"

"Marcy, not the time for diplomacy!" Kelly said.

Marcy turned to the New King, "Andrias, this wasn't the plan! You told me that no one would get hurt!"

"Hey I said what I needed to say, I just wanted that box fully charged," Andrias said. "Sorry kid, but you got duped."

"What's going on? What plan?" Sasha asked, Marco's eyes widening in worry.

"Yeah, what's going on, Mar-Mar?" Anne asked.

"Oh no...her secret!" Marco cast a worried glance to his girlfriend, know that the inevitable has come.

"Andrias told me he could take us to many worlds," Marcy nervously said. "So we can go on fun adventures, like this one! I mean, we had a good start too, we got to see Mewni, and I did plan to take a trip through The Boiling Isles...assuming this Belos situation won't be a problem."

"I still don't get it," Anne said. "Is there something you're not telling us?"

"You'd be surprised," Andrias said. "Honestly Mar-Mar, you should be more honest with your friends. Tell them the truth, or I will."

"Wait, you said you wouldn't tell anyone!" Marcy said.

"You told Andrias as well?" Marco asked.

"Told him what!?" Sasha asked.

"At least she was honest with one of you," Andrias said. "Anne, Sasha, did it ever occur to either of you that a certain someone knew more than she was letting on? That you got stranded in Amphibia...on purpose?"

"...You can't be serious," Sasha said.

"Marcy...it's not true, is it?" Anne asked.

"Whoops, I just spilt the tea, as you kids say," Andrias said.

"Literally no kid in any dimension has said something like that," Amity said. "Your slang is horrendously outdated."

"Slang or not, the fact remains," Andrias said. "Marcy lied to her friends."

"I swear...I did it for us!" Marcy said.

"Did what?" Anne asked.

"The day we left, on your birthday Anne, my dad said he got a new job out of state," Marcy said. "My parents were gonna make me move away!"

"Marcy..." Anne said disappointedly.

"I found the box, and honestly, I didn't really think it would work," Marcy desperately insisted. "But it did! Now we never have to grow apart!" She took both Anne and Sasha by their hands. "We can stay together!"

"Don't touch me," Sasha said, furiously backing away.

"How could you do this!?" Anne shouted in disappointment. "I've been missing my life back home! My family!"

"But you've grown, a lot!" Marcy tearfully explained, trying to maintain a smile regardless. "I gave you Sprig, I gave you the Plantars! Thanks to me, you got to meet Luz, and Amity, and Marco! All our friends from Mewni and The Boiling Isles! Plus, you got those dimensional scissors! So it worked out."

"This is getting awkward..." Rhombulus muttered.

"Please...I just didn't want to be alone..." Marcy said, falling to her knees and overflowing in tears. "I couldn't be apart from you."

"Well kid, that's what you get for pouring your heart out to me in a game of Flipwart," Andrias taunted.

"Alright, you need to shut your mouth you oversized asshole!" Marco shouted.

"Whoa, someone's got a temper," Andrias said.

"What you just did was just out of pure pettiness! To add flavor to your so-called victory," Marco said. "You took advantage of her emotions for your own personal gain. I'll never forgive you for that!"

"Eh, I'll live," Andrias said.

"Not for long if you keep pushing it!" Marco said, rage started to tread into his voice.

"Wait, Marco, did you know about this too?" Amity asked.

"...Yeah, Marcy told me as well, some time ago in fact," Marco said.

"You knew all this time and you never told us?" Sasha asked. "Man, you must really give it to her good in bed if she's already trusting you."

"First off, she told me this before we hooked up," Marco said, blushing a bit from Sasha's comment. "Second, it wasn't my secret to tell. Unlike Andrias, I can keep my mouth shut!"

"But this is a big secret!" Sasha said.

"She trusted me, and I couldn't break that trust," Marco said. "But, I also told her that she had to be the one to tell you."

"But she didn't," Sasha said.

"She was going to," Marco said. "Remember the date night? When Marcy and I spent some time alone after Polly started a food fight?"

"Pfft, Hooty started it," Polly said.

"Not the point," Marco said. "Point is that I told Marcy she had to tell you both, and she was going to. Remember that he had something she wanted to say? She was worried about you two being mad?"

Anne looked back on that day, she did recall that Marcy wanted to tell her something, but was too nervous. "Yeah, I actually remember that. Then that issue with Meteora happened."

Marco knelt beside his girlfriend, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder, "Marcy wanted to tell you then and there. She wasn't going to keep this a secret forever. I know she shouldn't have done this, but she really didn't mean any harm. You gotta forgive her."

Anne looked around, thinking over the situation. Bad as it seemed, the fight still wasn't over. Plus she knew Marco was right, Marcy wouldn't do anything bad on purpose. "Look, Marcy made a mistake, just like Sasha, just like any of us have done before. But, I want to forgive her, because that's what friends do."

Marcy looked relieved to hear, "Anne...You mean it?"

"You and I still have quite a conversation ahead of us, right now I'm still mad at you but, I don't want to stay mad," Anne said.

"I totally understand," Marcy said.

"At least you're not like Andrias, he's just straight up evil," Anne said.

"You kids and your labels," Andrias said.

"Pal, you upset my girlfriend," Marco said. "You deserve every label. Honestly, I have some choice words for you, but I'd rather not say them in front of kids."

"So we can fight monsters, and hear about you getting intimate with Marcy, but bad words is too much?" Polly asked. "Weird standards."

"Can we please stop talking about what Marcy and I do in privacy?" Marco said, the boy blushing alongside his girlfriend. "Look, let's just take down Andrias."

"Yeah, let's go Sasha!" Anne said, freeing her friend.

"I got your back," Sasha said.

"And I have yours," Grime said, breaking his own ropes as Frobo gave him and Sasha their weapons back.

"We're with you until the end!" Sprig said, ready to fight alongside Polly and King.

"That reminds me," Rhombulus freed the nearby Eda from her crystal, the woman looking confused.

"Wait, what happened?" Eda asked.

"Long story, but here's the important stuff," Anne began. "Sasha betrayed us, is sorry for it, Andrias is evil and we need to stop him!"

"...Sounds weird but I trust you kid," Eda said, glaring at Andrias. "Another corrupt ruler, you and Belos would make for such great friends."

"Funny you say that," Andrias said, then called ahead. "The moment has arrived!"

"What moment?" Eda said, then saw a bruised and beaten Luz thrown her way. "Oh no! Luz!"

"What happened!?" Marco shouted, then saw a bruised Hekapoo thrown near him as well.

"Hekapoo!" Rhombulus checked on his sister in magic. "Hey, wake up!"

"Sorry, I may have gone overboard in my excitement," came the voice of Belos, the evil Emperor stepping into sight alongside Hunter and Ludo.

"Belos!?" Anne shouted.

"Greetings Anne, good to see you again," Belos said, then took note of Anne aiming her sword. "Now, now, that's not a proper way to greet someone."

"Save it you creep!" Anne shouted. "What did you do to Luz!?"

"To be fair, she was already roughed up from her fight with Hekapoo, I just made sure she couldn't move for a bit," Belos said. "But she's alive, as is Hekapoo."

"Can't say the same about you in about five seconds!" Eda shouted, aiming her palisman.

"Now, now Edalyn, why must you be so quick to battle? I merely want to propose a peaceful solution to our quarrels," Belos said.

"Please, hear our Emperor Belos," Hunter said.

"Hear out what? I bet this guy doesn't even know what Andrias is planning," Sasha said.

"You mean his plan to rule the multiverse?" Belos asked. "I am quite familiar, in fact I welcome the idea."

"Huh? Why would you?" Anne asked. "Don't you want to take over yourself? I mean he wants to rule Earth, isn't that what you're after?"

"Oh no, my plans go far beyond that," Belos said. "I merely just want to merge the realms, and get rid of a bothersome element. Magic."

"Magic?" Anne asked. "You want to destroy magic?"

"Magic has been very bothersome for quite some time, I merely wish to keep the realms safe from those who would misuse such a thing," Belos said. "If I must give my status as ruler, then so be it."

"Don't worry, since we're friends, I can let you keep the Boiling Isles, I'll still be the overall ruler, but having a bit of extra eyes couldn't hurt," Andrias said.

"I appreciate your generosity," Belos said. "I should hope however, that you know the fitting ruler for Mewni as well."

"Uh, right, that Meterora girl," Andrias said. "Sure, when she's old enough, she may have the castle, again, so long as she remembers that it is out of my generosity."

"Meteora?" Marco asked. "So, she's alive?"

"Yes, my assistant Terra is looking after her while my other assistant Kikimora is tending to another matter," Belos said.

"Wait, how long have you two known each other?" Kelly asked.

"We met a few hundred years ago, Andrias is an old acquaintance of mine," Belos said. "I respected his ambitions and vowed to stay out of his way, so long as he did not impede on my plans."

"Plus we liked getting together every few decades for a game of chess," Andrias said.

"After my battle with Hekapoo and that young girl, Sasha Waybright, I needed to pick myself back up," Belos said. "Thankfully Andrias was kind enough to help out."

"So, he was right under our noses?" Anne asked.

"I told him a lot about you Anne, he seemed fascinated with your determination," Andrias said.

"A young girl like you has a lot of potential, I could use an apprentice to carry on my goals," Belos said, much to Hunter's confusion. "Will you join me?"

"There's no way I would, after everything you've done to Luz," Anne said. "I'd rather die!"

"Be careful what you desire," Belos said. "It can happen."

"Belos..." Luz said, the girl standing up. "I won't...let you."

"Back on your feet? Very admirable," Belos said. "You are fighting a useless battle however, it's best to surrender."

"He's right little girl," Andrias said, getting Luz's attention. "Your time is over."

"So, you really are evil, just like that tablet showed," Luz said, readying some glyphs. "I'm not going to let you hurt anyone else."

"Yeah, there's no way you can stop me, or Belos," Andrias said, pulling out his laser sword. "So this is your last chance, surrender, or die."

"We're not going down without a fight!" Marco said, pulling his sword out. "Everyone, attack!"

"Guards!" Andrias said, sending his robots to attack.

Anne and Sasha grab their weapons and maneuver around, swiftly taking down some robots with quick strikes. Marco used his own sword to dismantle some robots, then used his martial arts skills to kick a bunch into each other.

Amity used her abomination as a pair of gloves and started punching some oncoming robots while Kelly cut through them with her giant sword. Hop Pop punched a robot, hurting his hand in the process and leaving himself open. Fortunately Grime was quick to whack it away and went for more.

Yunan used her skills to strike down some robots, joined by Rhombulus who used his muscles to slam a few. Frobo used his lasers to blast some robots into nothing, King grabbing a laser gun to blast one that Frobo missed and Marcy using her crossbow to destroy another robot.

Luz used her ice magic to trap some robots by their ankles and blasted them with fire. One tried to zap Luz but Sprig used his slingshot to knock the robot's aim into another robot as Polly threw a mace at the one robot's head.

Eda took a few down using a combination of magic and melee with her palisman. When more showed up, Hekapoo got back on her feet and used her scissors to take a bunch down, the girl gaining assistance from Omnitrax Prime.

"Still got fight?" Omnitrax asked

"Just enough," Hekapoo stated.

"You!" Andrias pointed to Hunter. "Take them down!"

"You're not the boss of me!" Hunter said.

"Hunter, obey Andrias," Belos instructed.

"Oh fine," Hunter immediately went for Sasha, slamming down his staff as Sasha blocked the strike.

"Eager to lose again?" Sasha taunted, then kicked Hunter away, engaging with him further.

"This is getting annoying," Andrias slammed his sword down to disorient everyone. He saw Polly near him, immediately raising his left foot. "Time to end you!"

"Polly!" Anne shouted in worry, this promting King into action.

"Don't you dare hurt my Polly!" King shouted, leaping into the air and scratching Andrias's face. "Yeah! King vs King, the ultimate-"

Andrias whacked King of his face, the young titan being caught by Marcy. "Got you!"

"Thanks, but we gotta save Polly!" King said.

Fortunately Frobo went to provide assistance, much to Andrias's confusion. "One of my robots must be malfunctioning. Oh well." He then punched it to bits, to the dismay of Polly.

"NO! FROBO!" Polly gritted her teeth in anger. "You monster! You'll regret this!"

"Oh don't worry, you're next!" Andrias slammed his foot down, to the terror of her friends.

"No! Polly!" King rushed over to where she was. "You can't die! I never got to tell you how I feel!"

"Don't worry, you still can," Polly's voice came from the smoke, to everyone's confusion. Once it cleared, Polly was seen standing up on her new appendages. "Guess who just got her legs! I can wa-" Suddenly Polly tripped while walking. "Gah!"

"My little baby got her legs!" Hop Pop gleefully cheered.

"Aw, kids grow up so fast," Eda said.

"So King," Polly said, eyeing the titan. "What were you gonna tell me?"

"Talk later! Get the Music Box!" Marco called.

"On it!" Polly said, running to her destination.

Suddenly Belos appeared before the young frog, "I cannot allow you to go any further."

"Belos!" Anne rushed in to attack but the Emperor blocked the sword strike with his hand.

"You are quite impatient, I will get you myself," Belos said. "For now-"

"Hiya!" Marco leapt in and kicked Belos out the way. "Run Polly!"

Andrias went to stop her but Amity's newly summoned Abomination blocked his path. He turned his attention to Ludo, "You! Do something!"

"I'm not much for physical conflict unless I know I'll win," Ludo said.

"Useless!" Andrias sliced away the abomination, focusing his sights elsewhere.

Polly leapt up and grabbed the Calamity Box, "Whoo! I rule!"

"The castle is lowering!" Marco said. "Now we just need to stop Belos and Andrias."

"That won't be happening," Andrias said, holding Sprig in his fists. "You did well, but this nonsense stops here."

"Sprig!" Anne called.

"I'll save you buddy!" King leapt up but Belos grabbed him by his neck.

"That's far enough," Belos instructed, the grabbed a dagger, glaring at anyone who got too close. "I do not want to harm him, so do not give me reason to."

"I suggest you put the box back where it belongs," Andrias said, holding Sprig near a window, Belos doing the same with King. "Or these twerps learn how to fly. Spoiler alert, it won't turn out well.

"Better hurry," Belos warned. "Our fingers may be slipping."

"Hey come on, you don't need both of us!" King said. "Just let Sprig go!"

"Me? What about you!?" Sprig shouted. "Anne! Be careful!"

"Quiet!" Andrias demanded, squeezing Sprig tightly. "Little tadpole girl, put my box back, this instant! Unless you want to lose your brother and your little boyfriend."

"If I put it back, will you free them?" Polly asked. "No tricks this time?"

"If you put it back, I promise to let your brother go," Andrias said.

"I promise to let this little fellow return to you," Belos said.

"We give you our word," Andrias said.

"Just be sure you trust that word," Belos said.

"...Polly, put the box back," Anne said.

"Are you kidding!? This could endanger the multiverse!" Hekapoo shouted.

"My friends are more important!" Anne said. "Polly, do it!"

"On it," Polly said, placing the box back. "Now, you two, hold up your end of the deal."

"Of course, I am a man of my word," Belos said, letting King go as he scurried to Polly, embracing her in a hug.

"Sorry I was in that position, I didn't mean to worry you," King said.

"Andrias, she put the box back, Belos held his end of the deal, now you hold yours!" Anne said.

"You really are worried about him, he's your friend, correct?" Andrias asked.

"Yeah, my best friend!" Anne said.

"Here's the funny thing about friends," Andrias said. "The more you love them, the more it hurts when they go. Allow me to demonstrate."

"Andrias, don't!" Marco shouted. Too late, Andrias had thrown Sprig out the window.

"SPRIIIIIG!" Anne shouted, the girl falling to her knees in tears.

"NO!" Polly tearfully shouted. "We made a deal! You said you would let him go!"

"And I did, I let him go right out the window," Andrias said.

"He did give you his word, you should have listened carefully," Belos said. "I said I would let King go to you, and I did. Belos said he let young Sprig go, and he did. We gave you our honest word, but here's a lesson, make sure when you bargain with your foes, that you understand your foe's conditions."

"You bastards," Marco aimed his sword. "I'm gonna destroy the both of you!"

"Gotta say, surprised by how full of energy this boy is, he seemed so cautious when we first met," Andrias said. "Marcy really knows how to pick'em."

"Young love is truly admirable, is it not?" Belos asked.

"It is...which is a shame because I intend to kill this boy, so Marcy may have to start over," Andrias said. "Oh well, such is life."

"You..." Anne said, the girl standing up, energy forming around her. "You're gonna regret this!"

"Another tough talker," Andrias said. "Perhaps we should-"

"Hold on!" Belos said. "Something feels off."

Anne's eyes started glowing blue, with the corresponding stone on the music box surrounding Anne, covering her with energy.

"No...it can't be!" Andrias said. "How is she still connected to the stone?"

While this was happening, Marcy ran to the window, calling Joe Sparrow and hopping on the bird, "I'm coming Sprig!"

"So...what's with Anne?" Kelly asked.

"Is this a human thing?" Grime asked.

Anne's hair turned completely blue, plant life growing as she levitated into their. Everyone continued to stare in awe, amazed by this power.

"That is not a human thing," Sasha said.

"It's like something out of an anime," Luz said in amazement. "Anne is SO cool!"

"Give him BACK!" Anne shouted, blitzing around and destroying all of the robots.

"Hey, what's going on?" Hunter asked. "Uncle, how is she-"

Anne appeared behind hunter, knocking him aside, toward Luz, the witch girl looking down in shame.

"You really could do better than that corrupt uncle of yours," Luz said, focusing back on Anne.

"How is this happening!?" Andrias asked, Anne appearing beside him and punching him in the jaw. She rushed in again and hit another punch to stumble the king.

"Take her down!" Andrias ordered from his remaining robots, but Anne used her powers to punch the ground, sending the robots flying off and then hit Andrias in the stomach as he tried to protect himself.

"Ah!" Andrias keeled over, taking an uppercut that knocked him back again.

Anne turned her attention to Belos, angrily marching towards him, "You're next."

While not showing it, Belos was in fact very concerned. He did not know the best way to counter these new abilities, however he refused to show fear to his enemy.

Just as Anne leapt to attack, the power began fading, the girl falling before the Emperor.

"Well now, guess she couldn't control it," A secretly relieved Belos said.

"I can control mine!" Luz charged up her magic and attempted to blast Belos, but the enemy Emperor put up a shield and sent an attack of his own that Luz barely dodged. "That all you got?" Luz was about to strike again but Andrias kicked her aside.

"Stupid kid," Andrias said.

"Anne!" Hop Pop rushed to the girl. "Anne, stand up!"

"Come on kid, on your feet!" Eda encouraged.

"Sprig..." Anne wiped her eyes.

"Anne!" Sprig called as he flew in with Marcy. The frog boy leapt off the bird and hugged his friend.

"Sprig! You're alive!" Anne returned the hug. "Thank goodness!"

"Marcy caught me in time," Sprig said.

"Marcy did?" Anne looked around. "Where is she?"

"You're all getting on my nerves," Andrias said. "I will vanquish you all before you ruin my goals!"

Suddenly the castle began falling, Belos taking note of the reason. "Andrias, your protégé is taking the Music Box!"

"No! Put that back!" Andrias went to stop her but Sasha and Grime stood in his path.

"Come on, work!" Marcy pleaded.

"Marcy!" Marco called, running to his girlfriend. "What are you doing?"

"Trying to open a portal to Earth," Marcy said. "Without the scissors, we can't escape!"

"Scissors you say?" A nearby Yunan said, pulling a pair out. "Like these?"

"Huh? Wait, my inscription?" Marco asked. "Those are mine, where did you find it!?"

"Out of my way!" Andrias shouted, knocking Sasha and Grime away, but found himself blocked by Amity and Kelly.

"No time to explain then," Marco said, grabbing the scissors. "We gotta open a portal back to Earth!"

"I shall distract him," Yunan said, running to confront Andrias, but was blocked by Belos.

"Would you truly betray your King?" Belos asked. "Without him, you are nothing."

"Huh? That's not true!" Yunan said.

"Isn't it?" Belos replied. "Where would you be without your rank? Would you turn again the one who gave you this power?"

"I...I wouldn't...I mean," Yunan looked confused.

"Ignore him! He's just messing with you!" Eda said as Amity got knocked away. "Geez, one evil ruler is bad enough, but that other guy's a pain in his own way."

"Take this!" Rhombulus went to crystalize Belos, but he blocked dodged and knocked the Commission member back.

"Marco! Marcy!" Anne said, running over with the Plantars while Luz and King helped Amity up.

"I got the portal open to my house," Marco said, using the scissors. "We should grab the Calamity Box too."

"I got it," Marcy said, lifting it up, unaware that Andrias was right behind her. "Sweet, let's-"

"Watch out!" Marco moved Marcy out the way and took a blow from the sword that was meant for Marcy.

"MARCO!" A teary-eyed Marcy shouted.

"NO!" Amity blasted Andrias in the face, pulling Marco off the sword as she carried him through the portal, with Marcy, Anne, Luz, King and The Plantars right behind behind her.

The portal closed, leaving everyone else trapped in Newtopia's castle for the time being.

"This might be trouble..." Eda said. "I hope Star's doing better than us. Raine too."

Meanwhile in The Boiling Isles, Raine, after having gotten into an altercation with Darius and Eberwolf, was being bound by Kikimora, the imp girl satisfied with her work.

"Belos will be pleased," Kikimora said. "Come, let us reunite with him, and perhaps our new ally."

"Of course," Darius said, turning to where Raine was, feeling a sense of worry before brushing it off.

Kikimora was excited to reunite with Belos and Andrias, wondering what was next for their plans, and was very eager to be part of them.
