Now this is based off of the Casagrandes episode called "The Big Chill" but it's the aftermath of the whole thing, and the whole idea of Lori talking to Bobby will still go on, and some stuff to talk about on what they did to get what they needed to stay cool. Enjoy reading this folks.
Helluva Loud Adventures. Hot summer season.
(Great Lakes City.)
We now go to…. Holy fucking shit! Why the fuck is it so god damn hot out here?! My skin!
Well, the portal from Royal Woods is open, along with the portal from Hell. The ones coming through are: Loona, Luna, Lincoln, Lori and Charlie, and they realize how hot it is around them.
"Whoa! What the fuck?!" Loona then turns to her human form. "Fuck, it is still fucking way too hot here, even with no fur on me!" Loona then puts on some shades and a sun hat.
Lincoln then puts on some shades. "Guys, this town is hotter than Royal Woods, why the heck is hell less under the hot zone?!"
Luna then wipes her brow and also wears some shades. "Dudes, this heat is enough to make even myself feel like moving to the North Pole. So, what the heck are we doing here again?"
"To see our friends from Great Lakes City" said Lincoln. He then looks around. "Well, seems like everyone is under the weather of the heat. Let's hope the Casagrandes are doing well. How're you two holding up?"
Lori takes off her jacket, and is now in her light blue tank top, and she wipes her sweat brow. "This is so intense, maybe we should've went back home."
Charlie also removes her pink jacket. "At least Vaggie isn't dealing with this. She could get super ticked off when it comes to stuff like this, she'll blow her top off." She then puts on a hat and gives one to Lori.
"Come on, let's get going!" Lincoln then takes a few steps, but then he stops and leans onto the side of the building. "Okay, this is way too hot to walk in."
"Anyone here wanna portal there?" asked Loona. They all raise their hands. "Alright then." She then readies the medallion for the portal.
Then Vito arrives. "Hey, can you guys give me a lift to the Mercado? I know the place is a few steps away, but I can't take walking in this…" He sees them gone, and the portal closes. "Oh, never mind." He then takes a few steps, but stops and goes under the shade of a tree. "Not worth it."
(Casagrande apartment.)
The portal opens inside of the apartment. "Finally." Lincoln then feels something. "Cold air, follow me!" They all follow Lincoln and they knock on the door of the Casagrande apartment, and they see Ronnie Anne is the one who opens the door.
But as the door opens, some cold air passes through and the group sigh in relief. "Whoa dudes, sick twist with the AC Unit, dudes!" said Luna. She then takes her shades off.
Ronnie Anne then lets them in. "Thanks, though this thing is on an AC Unit, sorta. The thing was made by the effort of myself and my Abuelo, and we went through so much to make this thing happen. Come on in and…." She then sees Lori and is stern towards her. "What is she doing here?"
Lori is nervous about this, and the rest of the Casagrandes notice this and despise her now, Bobby on the other hand seems worried. Charlie then intervenes. "Guys, chill and I don't mean to cool off. Lori is here to…"
Lori then speaks. "I came here to speak with Bobby, nothing more. Please, I just wanna talk to him."
They all didn't seem okay with this, but Bobby speaks up. "Alright, Lori let's talk in my room." Lori is relieved to hear about this and so she follows Bobby to his room. He then looks back to the others. "We're just gonna talk, nothing more."
They were all not sure about this, then Ronnie Anne looks to Lincoln. "Dude, are you sure about this?"
Lincoln nods. "Lori has changed, she's seen the error of her ways and is trying her best. She managed to pull things off after we saved her, and then she was willing to be given a second chance through redemption via hotel and adopted by Charlie."
Charlie nods. "It is true, and she's come so far and become someone else, for the better. Heck, she's already in summer school and she has a big test tomorrow. Vaggie and I thought that she deserves a break from the studying, and right now she wants to get something off of her mind."
They all still didn't like this, and heck even Carl doesn't like this, but Ronnie Anne speaks up. "Fine, as long as she just wants to talk. We're still super miffed at the whole ordeal on the real face behind Bobby's former angel."
Lincoln nods and he looks to the Ac Unit. "Umm, Ronnie Anne. Why does the AC unit look like a shaved ice machine?"
Loona sniffs the air. "Also, I smell raspberry, and blue berry."
"That's because, it's recycled from the shaved ice machine that Abuelo helped fix" said CJ. "It may smell like raspberries and other flavors, but at least we're nice and cool."
"This was so worth it, and it's gonna be hot all week too!" said Carlota as she relaxes.
"Well, thank goodness we came here to cool off" said Loona. She then turns back to her hellhound form. "Our AC is working, but we decided to come and visit here."
"We have one at the hotel" replied Charlie. "Right now Leni and Vaggie are keeping an eye on things. Also, it's such an honor to meet you all for the first time, I think you all know who I am, right?"
They recall who she is and Carlota is amazed by her style. "Well, I guess the suit makes you fancy, and the white shirt and suspenders too. For a princess from hell, you dress up stylish and not all frilly and fancy."
Charlie chuckles. "That one is for when I have to be formal for whatever events my parents have, though my mom isn't a fan of the big fancy frilly dressed and would rather wear something… Alluring."
Carlota thinks about this. "Now that I have to see." Charlie then shows her some images of herself with her parents, while Lincoln, Loona and Luna hear what Ronnie Anne and the others did the other day, when they needed to cool off and get a new AC unit.
Then Rosa comes in and sees all of them. "Dios mio, I didn't know we were going to have guests!" She then wears a bandana and war paint. "My kitchen is now open!"
(Bobby's Bedroom.)
Lori is sitting on the chair in the room, while Bobby is sitting on his bed. "Lori, it's alright to sit here" said Bobby as he offers her a spot on the bed.
Lori shakes her head in denial. "No, no thank you. Bobby, I just wanna say…. I'm sorry."
Bobby is confused by this, and he lets Lori continue. "Bobby, I was just… I don't know what I was thinking. I mean, I was always so nice and kind to you, and also a bit patient. You were someone who fell for me, and for some reason I wasn't quite the considerate girl to be honest with you."
"I mean, I never did take up some responsibility to be the eldest to my siblings back then, and I never even did what I could to help them with whatever they needed in the morning, but I guess you already knew about that one."
Bobby recalls, the court scenario from which he saw what Lori does in the morning. Before he moved to Great Lakes City, Lori would go on and on at her phone and talk to him, and all the chaos erupts and Lincoln would be the one to stop the madness and get everyone ready for the day.
Bobby now feels guilty, for another reason. "Lori, some part of me thinks that this was all my fault too."
Lori is confused by this. "What? What do you mean? You didn't do anything…"
"Exactly" replied Bobby. He then looks out the window. "All this time, I was too blinded by you and your beauty and the relationship we were having, that I didn't notice the stuff you were really doing around your home and to your siblings. I mean, Ronnie Anne does a lot more stuff than me, and that was long ago when we were back at Royal Woods."
"Also, the whole reason why you were such an addict to being on the phone is because of me. You were too focused on talking to me, that I was the distraction that made you into someone who wasn't responsible enough to be there for your sisters and brother, and now I see that I am one big joke. All I do is mess up, and look like a fool…. With coloring books."
Lori didn't like to see him like this. "But…. You've changed, right?"
Bobby nods. "Yeah, trying to change. But deep down, I feel like a total tool."
Lori can see, that the aftermath of the court scenario from last year has affected Bobby, as it has affected her. She then goes over and sits next to him. "I guess we're both in the same boat of conflict."
Bobby looks to Lori, and she looks to Bobby and explains. "We both started stuff that went wrong. I mean, the day you broke up with me was the time I became an angry mess to Lincoln and forced him to go on the double date."
Bobby sighs. "Yeah, I never should've done that and should've listened to Ronnie Anne. She told me to butt out, but instead I got involved and got her into the double date."
Lori didn't know about that. "We're both messes, and we both blame ourselves for what has happened, I mean I lost my sanity and went into a dark hole of dark things and I… I killed someone."
Bobby sighs. "Well, I became a depressed nothing and…" Then he realizes what she just said. "Wait, you killed someone?!"
Lori nods. "That person hired Lincoln and his family to take me to hell where I…. I learned suffering, misery and torment. Lincoln and the others told you, right?"
Bobby recalls, that Lincoln and Luna wanted to talk to him in private and he was horrified to know where Lori was, in a porn studio and being tormented and violated by demons and sinners, but he didn't think she killed someone on earth.
Bobby then holds her hand. "At least you changed and you learned from the mistakes you made, and though you don't have the family you once had, at least you're regaining the trust and forgiveness from those you once called family, right?"
Lori sighs. "Still a long, long way to go through with that. I have so much to do, and so little time to even think of how to make things become less of an ordeal. The folks of town are accepting me, sorta. Some still don't like me, and most students wouldn't want me around the school after the whole thing from last year."
"But, if they see that you have changed then they can see that you're not the same Lori from before" said Bobby as he places a hand on her shoulder. "Lori Loud is gone, and the new Lori has taken her place to make things different."
Lori felt motivated by this. "Yeah, true. I hope that… That we can learn to trust each other, and ourselves again. We can be friends and…."
"Or we can start over." Lori is shocked at what Bobby said.
"What?"
Bobby nods. "Lori, you were a very rude and not so nice girl to your siblings, but after all the trouble you had to go through, you have shown change and a new kind of Lori. I like this change, and that you're willing to make a big different, a Lori I could possibly…. Love again?"
Lori didn't know what else to say, she feels as if her love for Roberto Santiago has come back, and she likes this feeling. "Well, if you wanna start over, then I'd like that. But, we have to take it nice and slow, and not rush things."
Bobby nods. "Like a true couple, trying to get to know each other."
Lori giggles. "Yeah." She then goes over and hugs Bobby, and so he hugs her back. For the two former lovers, this was the start…. Well, restart of the spark that they lost, and soon to return.
The duo then depart from the hug. "We should go and see what the others are up to" said Bobby. "We have a lot to catch up on." He gets up from the bed and offers Lori his hand.
Lori accepts the hand and she gets up too. They then walk out of the bedroom and go back to speak with the others, and they just hope that they'll be okay with what the duo were talking about and what they have planned.
To be continued folks!
A/N: Seems like Lori and Bobby are slowly rebuilding something, but will they truly become a couple as before, or will they have to give it time and see where this goes? Only time will tell, everyone. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
