Author notes: Hello guys! Here I am writing another chapter, this one has definitely been a tricky one to write. But I hope you'll like it~ I also wanted to tell you that in this fanfiction Korrasami is already a thing and you'll see why very very soon!

He slammed the door once he got inside his apartment. He couldn't believe he saw her as soon as he got out of the house, and that she saw him too; the anonymity he had worked so hard to build was on the verge of destruction. Nokatak paced the room a few times before coming up with a brilliant idea; for times like these, a drink was exactly what he needed. He didn't intend to get blackout drunk, but to be inebriated enough to forget about Sara for at least one night.

- Black Fire Tavern -

"I'll take a dragon's fire, make it strong." said Noatak while the barista looked at him sympathetically.

"Who is she?" asked the woman while preparing his drink.

"What are you talking about?" he was starting to feel irritated, he was there to get drunk not have a conversation about the topic he was trying so hard to forget.

"A man as handsome as you, all alone... trying to get drunk? You must be trying to forget about someone, perhaps a woman?" she said while pouring his drink.

"It's none of your business." said Noatak with an icy glare, he took his drink and chugged it in one shot, he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand and asked for another drink.

'This is gonna be a long shift.' thought the barista.

"Bolin I don't know if this is a good idea..."

"Sara trust me, there's nothing more fun than spending a night out while drinking with your new friends!"

"B-but I've never had alcohol before!" said the girl while Bolin was tugging her arm.

That's when Mako grabbed Bolin's hand and slapped it away "Stop pressuring her Bolin!"

"Look you don't have to drink if you don't want to, but at least please keep us some company...and if you're not having fun I'll personally escort you back to Air Temple Island, how does this sound?" he placed both his hands on her shoulders while looking at her eyes reassuringly.

She smiled thankfully at Mako and nodded "I guess I can try one drink...and if I don't like it maybe Bolin can drink it?" she asked while looking at Bolin who was starring at the two with a remorseful look.

"S-sure thing! And Sara... I'm sorry I didn't want to pressure you, it's just that I'm so curious to know more about you... and I'm so excit-"

Sara ran up to him and hugged him tightly, everyone looked at her with a shocked expression. Korra and Asami looked at each other with a puzzled expression just to then start laughing and pointing at them teasingly. Mako on the other hand wasn't laughing, a pang of jealousy hit him and he couldn't help but wish he was the one Sara was hugging.

"G-guys stop laughing! I was just grateful because I'm not used to people apologizing to me..." said the girl while putting her hands on her face in hopes to cover her embarrassment.

"Don't- don't you worry Sara, I'll apologize all you want if that means I get to be hugged by you!" said Bolin with a dumb smile.

At this point everyone laughed at Bolin's remark and entered the tavern.

Laughter filled up the tavern, the barista who was washing some glasses turned around and stared in awe as she saw the group of friends enter the place.

"A-Avatar Korra and her friends! It's an honor...thank you so much for visiting, do you want anything to drink? It's on the house!" said the owner smiling proudly.

Noatak quickly adjusted his hood so it covered his face 'Of course the Avatar and her friends had to come in this shabby tavern, as if they weren't rich enough to go to places like Quong, I better get out of here as soon as-' what the Avatar said made him stop his thoughts and turn slightly to look at them.

"It's okay we'll pay! We wanted to treat our friend Sara since she's new to the city!" said Korra smiling.

"O-of course Avatar Korra! Please follow me I'll take you to your table" said the owner nervously.

Noatak held his breath as the group walked past him, he was thankful he chose to sit at the counter so that the group couldn't see past his back. Once the group sat and ordered their drinks Noatak quickly glanced at them. Sara was smiling brightly and while he admired her he couldn't stop thinking about how she got to meet the Avatar and her friends. He was angry and jealous, why would she want to stay with such corrupted people? And why couldn't he be the one buying her drinks? He kept glancing at them from time to time trying to not look obvious, he didn't really care about the group finding out, they were far too occupied talking to each other, the noisy barista on the other hand was dangerous...he couldn't let her find out he was looking at Sara.

- One hour later -

"Chug! Chug! Chug! " yelled the group while the earth bender drank from a huge pint of beer, he spilled some of it on himself and let out a loud burp.

While Noatak was disgusted the new group of friends started laughing, they were all pretty drunk at this point. The Avatar and her girlfriend which he recognized as the daughter of Hiroshi Sato were cuddling and whispering things that made them blush, the earth bender was now falling asleep with his head on the table and the fire bender was dangerously close to Sara with an arm around her shoulder making fun of his drunk brother. At the sight of Sara and the fire bender a burning sensation started spreading around Noatak's chest, he was more drunk than he planned to be but he couldn't help it. Being this close to her and not being able to talk to her was making him go crazy, he took one last chug finishing his drink and promised himself that this was gonna be the last time he looked at her. While he turned to glance at her he felt his heart stop beating, her gaze found his and time stopped for the both of them. She excused herself with her friends and started walking towards him, he was petrified. Just as he thought she was going to talk to him she kept walking towards the exit of the tavern, looking at Noatak one last time before exiting the place.

That's when in a rush of excitement Noatak quickly payed the barista and left the tavern to look for her. It didn't take him a long time, he saw her in a close alley while she was looking at the starry night sky with her back resting on a wall. His mouth was slightly agape, she was truly beautiful, her eyes and her skin were shining while being lit by the moonlight, he started approaching her without thinking. Once she heard his footsteps she looked at him and smiled gently.

"Sara..." was the only thing he was capable to say.

"So you haven't forgotten about me."

"What- of course I didn't, you... you saved my life." at this point he was right in front of her, just a few inches were separating them. If he wasn't already drunk her sweet yet spicy scent would do the job perfectly, he could almost taste her on his lips.

"Then why did you ran away? This morning I saw you at the market..." tears were threatening to spill from her eyes and her heart was beating dangerously fast.

"I... I don't know, I guess I was afraid."

"A-afraid of what?" a tear stained her face, she couldn't get a hold of her emotions, if she knew she would run into him she wouldn't have drank any alcohol.

"That you weren't real..." he cupped her face and gently wiped away her tears, he got close to her and kept looking into her eyes with a loving yet hungry look.

She putted her trembling hand on top of his, closed her eyes and nuzzled her cheek. She opened her eyes and she was surprised to see he had shifted his position, his free hand was pinning her to the wall and his face was dangerously close to hers. Her gaze kept nervously switching from his intense eyes to his lips.

As he noticed her with a chuckle he licked his lips seductively and whispered in her ear "You know... Back in the cave, I was actually awake when you kissed me." he pulled back to look at her embarrassed expression.

"Wha-What are you talking about-" she was cut short when his lips met hers. It was a quick peck on the lips, nothing more than that. But it was definitely enough to make Sara breathless.

"I'm sorry for my lack of romanticism, you know... I'm quite drunk, and I've been starring at you the whole night wishing I could do this. I couldn't hold back..."

"One more..." was all that Sara managed to say.

"What?" Asked Noatak with a puzzled look.

She grabbed his shirt with both her hands and looked at him almost pleading "One more please... I want one more kiss."

He didn't waste any time, with one hand resting on her cheek the other grabbed the back of her head and kissed her passionately. She gasped at the intensity of his touch and he took the opportunity to slide his tongue inside her mouth, it took her a few moments to get used to the foreign sensation before her tongue met his. Even though he could tell she was inexperienced he couldn't help the low groan that escaped from his throat. She wanted to feel him closer to her, she kept tugging at his shirt desperately making him chuckle. While the two weren't kissing he grabbed her from her waist and she instinctively wrapped her legs around him and they were quick to resume their kiss. While her hands were raking his hair a moan escaped her lips as he grabbed her butt and explored it with his hands. They kept kissing for what felt hours, he seductively bites her lower lip and she slightly grinds her hips against his.

"SARAAA? Where are you? We're ready to go home, Bolin is way too drunk and Korra and Asami are too horny."

"Mako! I told you it's not that, Asami is feeling cold so she wants to go back home you idiot! You know you shouldn't talk about your exes this way..." yelled the drunk Avatar.

"Shhh, sweety it's too late you shouldn't be screaming!" said Asami while holding Korra's arm and resting her head on her shoulder.

Noatak and Sara stopped abruptly, he dropped her on her feet and they glanced at the main street anxiously, they could see the group of friends approaching the alley, but they were still distant enough for Noatak to run and hide. But as he was about to do that he looked at the girl he was kissing just moments ago.

"Where are you staying?"

"Air Temple Island." she said while looking at her friend's terrified.

He furrowed his eyebrows at her answer but then he grabbed her face and made her look at him "I live in an apartment complex right on top of the market, come tomorrow at midnight."

"Y-yes, I'll try my best to be there." she said while nodding her head frenetically.

He smiled at her and their lips met again "I. Will. Be. Waiting. For. You." he said in between kisses and after looking at her one last time he ran away into the dark alley until she couldn't see him anymore.

"There you are! We were looking for you everywhere, this guy right here was going nuts because he couldn't find you." said Korra while pointing at Mako.

"G-guys! I'm sorry I guess I'm more drunk than what I thought... I came outside to get some fresh air and then I couldn't find my way back to the tavern." she looked at them apologetically.

"Hey...it's okay, just don't do it again okay? Or at least let me escort you." said Mako.

"Y-yes I will! Should we go back home now?"
