Day 96
The next day she woke up before Dabi. And couldn't help but watch his sleeping form and it made her heart race in a way that she couldn't control. Something she hadn't felt before.
The architect of his body was drawing her in. She slowly takes her hands across his chest and starts to straddle him. Waking him from his sleep. His hand automatically on her hips.
They were cold as glass but she thinks he knows that. He knows that I like his body. That I like it touching mine.
Ali's heart beats faster.
Can he feel it?
Their eyes lock and before she can admit what's going on inside she leans forward to kiss him. Trying to pour all of the new feelings into it.
But she thinks he knew by the way his hands caressed her bare back.
Day 98
She hadn't returned to using her bedroom. Neither one of them spoke about it. Or how much more often their hands would find each other.
He had her heart beating with the new emotions.
She wanted to tell him but she didn't think she had to tell him. She was pretty sure that he knew. When they were alone it felt like home. The norm of being together and doing their separate things.
Day 99
It was different this time as he thrusted into her. It was so incredibly slow. Her heart was racing with anticipation. Her eyes were beginning to water with the fears of what she was feeling toward him.
But before the tears could fall his hand caresses her face and bring his forehead to hers.
"I know." He whispers.
She gulps and whispers into the dark, "So where do we go from here?"
Dabi wraps his arms around her torso and holds her tight. He was clearly having internal struggles over it.
She just barely heard him in the crook of her neck.
"I want you."
