"Sabine! Are you paying attention?"
For perhaps the third time during the briefing, Sabine Wren suppressed a start as she snapped back to reality. She took in the others around the holotable, from Rex and Zeb to Hera, all looking at her curiously, and blushed under the scrutiny. And for the third time, she chastised herself against being distracted.
"Yeah, Hera, I'm listening," she mumbled, trying to force her usual cheer into the response.
"Good," the Twi'lek said, a little too evenly. "Because this mission is critical to finding out what the Empire's planning next. We've been getting reports that . . . "
In spite of her best efforts, as soon as everyone turned back to the listen to the briefing, the words became a muted buzz that washed over Sabine. Trying not to be noticed, she turned her head to the side to take in the source of her distraction. Why did he have to stand right next to me?
Ezra stood with his arms crossed, completely engrossed in the talk, his eyes focused and intense in a way that made her heart flutter. Ever since the incident on Dathomir, she didn't know how to act around him anymore. She'd thought that her realizing her feelings for him would make things easier, but it turned out to be quite the opposite; whenever they spent any amount of time together, whether he was helping her master the Darksaber or just standing in the same room as her, she turned into a fumbling mess. It wasn't fair! How did anyone else deal with these kinds of feelings?
Ezra shifted suddenly, and Sabine snapped her eyes forward. She thought she might die of embarrassment if he actually caught her staring at him. But, from the corner of her eye, she saw his gaze remain on the images and people around the holotable, and she relaxed. Sabine forced herself not to think about Ezra and tried to focus on the briefing.
". . . which is why we need to be vigilant. This new intel suggests that . . . "
It's not fair! She thought again, stealing another glance out of the corner of her eye. As upset as she was with the situation, Sabine was even more upset with herself; all of her training, her self-discipline, and the countless missions she had been on, and she was being tripped up by a boy? She felt like she was failing some kind of test, but she couldn't help it. Whenever she was around the young man, her rationale fled and she turned into . . . this! She wished she could go back to before she'd realized her feelings. No, she thought, giving herself a tiny shake. No, I don't really want that. I just want - .
". . . will wait for your full report from Hoth, Sabine."
This time she did jump as the sound of her name brought her back to the present. Everyone was staring at her, some with concern, others with annoyance. She blinked dumbly.
"Sorry," she said. "Could you repeat that part, Hera?"
A small sigh escaped the Twi'lek before she answered, her tone more than a little tight. "The Empire has been spotted above Hoth, but reports have been spotty at best. We're sending you and Ezra to check it out and report back to us with what you find. A small reconnaissance is less likely to be spotted, just in case. Got it?"
In spite of herself, Sabine's heart leapt. Her and Ezra, on a mission together, spending time with one another. In the next moment, however, it sank; if just being around him made her act like this, would she be able to handle herself on a mission, where it actually mattered?
"Y - yeah, Hera, got it." She stammered
"You all know your assignments," Hera said, powering down the holotable and turning to address the room. "Let's get this done."
As people began filing out of the room, Sabine turned to go when a voice pulled her up short.
"So, wheels up in an hour?"
She spun, and this time Ezra was looking right at her. Have his eyes always been that blue? She wondered.
"Sabine? You okay?"
"Huh?" She blinked, then forced words out. "Oh, yeah! Just didn't sleep very much." She gave a laugh, and even to her it sounded half-hearted. Ezra frowned at her, and the silence stretched.
"So . . . " he finally said. "Should we get going?"
Sabine blinked again before realization sank in. "Right!" She forced another laugh. "The mission. Absolutely! I'm just . . . " Just in love with you, she finished in her head.
Ezra's frown deepened and he stepped closer, making Sabine's breath catch. "Are you sure you're all right?" He asked. "It's not like you to space out like this."
"Yeah, I - I'm fine." Sabine took hold of herself. "Go on ahead, Ezra, I'll meet you there. Just have some things to take care of first."
Ezra looked at her for a moment longer, then shrugged, turned, and walked away. Watching him go, Sabine berated herself once again. She couldn't keep going like this, distracted and unprepared. She was going to have to talk with him about this, sooner rather than later. This mission seemed like the perfect time. She'd tell Ezra how she felt, and whether he returned her feelings or not, she could get back to her regular self.
This will be great.
Not great. Not great!
Sabine pulled hard on the yoke, and the Phantom II lurched upward in time to miss the TIE Fighter. The craft screamed past them, its blaster fire just barely missing their hull. In the far distance, another Imperial light cruiser came zooming out of hyperspace to join the first, stopping with a roar of engines.
"Sabine!" Ezra staggered and partially fell across the console as an explosion shook the Phantom II. "What's going on? Where did all these Imperial forces come from?"
"I don't know!" Sabine steered them around a cluster of TIE Fighters, gritting her teeth as a few of their shots struck true. Indicators lit up and warbled frantically at her, but she ignored them. "They came out of nowhere!"
Ezra sat down and punched into the console, frowning as the display came up. "This is way more than what we thought," he shouted. "Sabine, we need to get out of here, there's no way we can handle this many!"
Sabine grunted as a formation forced her to turn hard again, their shots just barely missing their nose. She saw another squadron forming up ahead and turned away from them. She had a brief view of more squadrons disgorging from the newly arrived cruiser, racing to intercept with them. If nothing else, she was grateful to be out of firing range for the larger ships; those cannons would easily tear them apart.
"Maybe we can lose them in the planet's atmosphere!" she said. "Or at least buy us enough time to figure out something else."
Ezra opened his mouth, but in the next instant, all of her hopes were dashed; a TIE Fighter swung out of nowhere and fired, and the explosion that rocked the ship sent her and Ezra tumbling out of their seats. Alarms flashed and blared, and the view outside spun and twisted as the Phantom II careened toward the planet below. Sabine had a moment's view of and endless expanse of white rushing up to meet them before something struck her head, and then there was only darkness.
"Sabine?"
She felt like she was floating, suspended in a shrouded void of endless white. It was relaxing, peaceful; the only thing she could feel was cold. Why was she cold?
"Sabine! Wake up!"
She cracked her eyes, and her vision was filled with Ezra's face. I must be dreaming, she thought. She could think of worse dreams; she could never get enough of looking into Ezra's deep, blue eyes. Except, in her dreams, those eyes weren't filled with worry and concern. What is he worried about? And why am I so cold? She wanted to move, but her body . . .
"Sabine!"
Memory returned in a flash. Her eyes snapped the rest of the way open, and with it came the rest of her senses. Frigid wind howled all around her, pelting and stinging her skin with icy particles. She sat up, and when she put a hand to her head, it came out of a deep blanket of snow. She started to speak, but a groaning, hissing crash made her jump. Turning her head, she saw the wreckage of the Phantom II directly behind her. She realized then that the air was heavy with the smell of burnt metal.
"Thank goodness you're all right!" Ezra had to shout to be heard over the storm, and Sabine flinched again.
"What happened?"
"You got knocked out," the Jedi apprentice explained, standing up and holding out his hand. As Sabine let herself be lifted to her feet, he continued. "I managed to land us, barely, but the hull's been compromised. It's not going anywhere without repairs."
Sabine put a hand to her head again, feeling a hard lump just behind her ear. Looking back at the wreckage, she couldn't help but laugh.
"You call that a landing?" she teased, nudging Ezra in the side with her elbow.
"I would've done better," Ezra growled. "If you'd done a better job avoiding an Empire fleet!"
Mirth died, and Sabine felt it quickly replaced with guilt. I did this, she thought. If I hadn't been so distracted . . .
"Ezra, I - " she began.
"We have to get out of this," he cut in, just as an icy blast made Sabine hug herself. It was freezing! "We have to find something!"
Just then, a lull in the driving snow made a clear space, enough for Sabine to make out a low cliff. A dark shadow at the bottom seemed promising.
"There!" She pointed. "I think I saw a cave over that way!"
"What about the Phantom II?" Ezra asked. "If the Empire shot us down, they'll be looking for it."
Sabine laughed. "I doubt they'll actually search inside of a blizzard. Even if they do, this should be enough to cover it. Now let's go, before we freeze to death!"
Ezra considered, then nodded and stooped to pick up a large pack. Straightening, he started off, and Sabine quickly followed suit.
The way was difficult as well as treacherous; each step was made through snow that almost reached their hips, carefully probing to make sure the next didn't drop into a crevasse. Hidden stones and rocks occasionally turned their feet, making them stumble and pitch forward. Several times, Ezra had to put an arm around Sabine to keep her upright, and she did the same for him. A small part of Sabine was thrilled at the physical contact, but she was mostly focused on was putting on foot in front of the other. The whole time, wind-whipped snow and ice stung her cheeks, making her wish she'd taken the time to search the wreckage for her helmet.
It should be right here, she thought. It felt like they'd been walking for hours, but the only thing visible was the same expanse of white emptiness. She'd lost feeling in her face ages ago, and that numbness was starting to spread to her fingers and toes; her armor hadn't been made with insulation and extreme weather conditions in mind. It's gotta be close by - .
Almost by magic, the cliff was suddenly looming over the two of them with the promise of shelter, somewhat breaking the wind . The two of them hurried forward, stumbling as they encountered more rocks and uneven terrain. Just as she'd thought, a cave mouth yawned at the base, and she and Ezra scrambled inside gratefully. She still felt frozen, but the sudden lack of wind was an immense relief.
"Well, now what?" Ezra worked his jaw, no doubt trying to force feeling back into his face.
"Really nothing to do except wait," Sabine replied, doing the same with her hands. "If the transponder survived the crash, it should be broadcasting back to Chopper Base, and someone should come looking for us soon."
"And in the meantime?" Ezra was hugging himself now, shivering hard.
In response, Sabine took the pack from him, digging through it with fingers that barely responded, until she found what she was looking for. The heating unit whined to life in her hands, and she resisted the urge to hold onto it as warmth surged from the device. Instead, she placed it on the ground between them.
"We might be here for a while," she said, rubbing her hands over the device.
From the start, Sabine knew that the wait wasn't going to be easy, or comfortable; even out of the wind, the air was still icy enough that she thought her breath should freeze solid coming out of her. The heating unit warmed the air somewhat, but even at full blast, it only produced a small pool of warmth in the cave. She tried to move as much as she could, flexing fingers, shifting from foot to foot, moving her arms, anything to keep blood flowing and stop frostbite from creeping into her extremities. She watched Ezra doing the same, and from the look on his face, he felt the same pins-and-needles feeling she did. She just hoped it would be enough; at some point, the heating unit would lose power, and then they would lose their only chance of surviving. It was a race between their fuel supply and how fast a rescue ship could find them.
And just like before, Sabine found herself distracted. In spite of her efforts to focus on staying alive, she couldn't help but steal glances at Ezra on the other side of the cave. She had forgotten all about her commitment to tell him how she felt, given recent events, but this could still work. It might even be better this way, she thought; they certainly wouldn't be interrupted here for the foreseeable future. She tried to organize her thoughts, sort out the words she could use, but everything ended up jumbled in her head. None of it felt right to her; it all sounded fake and awkward, and she could just picture how Ezra would react to that. Just imagining it made her cheeks hot with embarrassment. Why is this so hard? This shouldn't be that - .
"Sabine?"
She flinched, snapping back to the moment to see Ezra taking a seat on the snow-covered floor. He had pulled an emergency blanket from the pack, the material crinkling as he wrapped it around himself.
"It'd probably be better if we both got in. We can share body heat, ya know?" The young man held the blanket open in invitation.
Sabine felt her cheeks flush. She could just picture herself sitting next to him, close enough to touch, feeling his warmth and his . . . She gave herself a shake, covering the motion by rubbing her arms.
"Good idea," she mumbled, hoping that he took her tone as a product of the cold. She dropped down beside him, trying to leave some space between them, for her sake. But Ezra scooted himself closer to her, his hip bumping against hers. He wrapped the blanket around her shoulder, completely enclosing her inside, and in the process pulling her tight against his shoulder. The sudden warmth was amazing, but Sabine barely noticed it; this close to Ezra, feeling his body, his heat, right next to her . . . she felt her heart flutter, and her whole body trembled in a way that had nothing to do with the cold.
"That's a little better at least," Ezra said. A lightness entered his tone. "At least I got good company out here. I could be stuck with Zeb."
An image popped into Sabine's head of Ezra and Zeb wrapped up together in the same blanket, and she couldn't help but laugh. It was ridiculous enough to make her forget how close the two of them were.
"You just know he'll take his sweet time getting out here to pick us up, too," Ezra continued. "And he'll probably say something like, 'The two of you deserve to freeze a little.'"
At his rough impression of the Lasat, Sabine burst out laughing again. She couldn't help it; it was too much like old times, when the two of them could joke around and make each other laugh, before . . . Looking into Ezra's face, inches from her own, her feelings and anxiety came flooding back. Almost immediately, she felt her face grow hot, and she ducked her head so he wouldn't see.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Ezra asked. She felt him shift, trying to move so he could see her, and she shifted away from him. "Was it something I said?"
"No!" Sabine said quickly, emphatically. She took a deep breath, trying to settle her nerves, but her heartbeat wouldn't listen; she felt like it was about to beat out her chest.
"Okay, then what?" He insisted. "Sabine?"
Sabine shook her head, her thoughts racing as she tried to calm herself down. This wasn't how she wanted this to come out, she wasn't prepared. Suddenly, the inside of the blanket seemed stiflingly hot.
"What's going on with you? You've been acting . . . different . . . ever since Dathomir."
"It's nothing." Sabine stood up, shrugging her way out of the blanket. Her skin instantly pebbled with the cold and her shivering began anew, but it was better than being in that blanket, pressed up against him. She strode to the other side of the heater to give herself some space.
"Well, it doesn't seem like 'nothing,'" Ezra said. Sabine chanced a look in his direction, saw the confusion on his face before she averted herself once again. "If something's going on with you, just tell me; I can help."
Sabine realized she was panting. She barely even registered the cold. In fact, she felt sweat sliding down her brow. She didn't have the words right yet, it couldn't come out like this.
"Sabine?"
Ezra's voice seemed to echo in the cave and in her head. She couldn't think straight, her thoughts slid like oiled smoke faster than she could process them. Part of her just wanted to say it, just to get it - .
"Sabine, tell me what's - ."
"I'm in love with you, Ezra!"
It was long moments of silence, broken only by the keening of the wind outside, before Sabine realized she had spoken out loud. When she did, she gave a horrified squeak, hands going to her mouth as she whirled to face Ezra again. She found the young man sitting in the blanket, frozen with his mouth open and a stunned expression on his face. Time seemed to stretch as the two of them stared at one another without speaking, her face growing redder and hotter, and him looking more and more confused and perplexed. Until . . .
"You . . . you're in love with me?"
Her mind raced frantically. Briefly, Sabine considered lying, downplaying, anything to take back what she had just said. Of course, she had wanted to say it, she certainly meant it, but not now. Certainly not like this! She had wanted the words and the setting to be just right, not blurted out in a cave, in the middle of a blizzard, after they had crash landed after a botched mission. She realized she had her mouth open, ready to take it all back, but . . .
It's out now.
"E - Ezra," she said. Her voice trembled and her heart wanted to beat out of her chest. "I love y - you."
Ezra's mouth closed with a sharp click. He sat on the floor, continuing to stare at her with the same mix of confusion, shock, and . . . something else that Sabine couldn't quite put her finger on. Another time, she might have teased him about such an expression. Another time, she would have relished having a victory over the young man. Now, however, all she could focus on was the pounding of her heart, the frantic heaving of her chest, but most of all how silent and still Ezra was as the seconds stretched out. Suddenly, she couldn't stand it any longer.
"Aren't you going to say anything?"
"I . . . " Ezra seemed to come back to himself, giving a little shake as he sat up. "I . . . uh . . . w - what do you mean?"
"What do you mean, 'what do I mean?'" Sabine shouted, and Ezra jumped. Sabine was taken aback herself; she hadn't meant to yell, but this was not going the way - any way - that she had imagined.
"Sorry, I just . . . " Ezra stood up, stepping out of the blanket and walking to the other side of the cave. "You're telling me that you've always felt like this?"
"N - not always," Sabine said softly. She squirmed where she stood, and it was only partly due to the cold. With Ezra facing away from her, it felt like he was avoiding even the sight of her. "W - well, maybe always, but I - I didn't realize it until recently. O - on Dathomir."
When Ezra didn't respond, Sabine continued, her voice getting stronger as she went. "When you were possessed, it made me realize how much I care about you, how much I l - love you. I couldn't stand the thought of losing you, and I did everything I could to make sure you were safe. It opened my eyes to how much you mean to me, what you mean to me, Ezra."
Ezra was silent, facing away from her towards the mouth of the cave.
"Look, this isn't how I wanted to tell you, Ezra, but it's been driving me crazy ever since; I just had to get it out."
Still, Ezra said nothing as he stared out into the swirling snow, and Sabine suddenly hit her boiling point.
"Would you just look at me, and talk to me?" she screamed. She saw Ezra flinch, then turn to face her with glacial slowness.
"And you're sure," he said cautiously. "That you think that you love me?"
Suddenly, Sabine recognized the missing emotion she had seen on his face: wariness, skepticism. Doubt. He thinks I don't mean it, Sabine thought furiously. He thinks I'm . . . that I'm joking with him!
"This isn't something I would joke about, Ezra!" She said, forcefully stabbing a finger into his chest. It was the first time that she realized she had crossed the cave to stand in front of him. When did he get so tall?
"I - it's just that . . . " Ezra shrank back from her fearfully. "This is - just very sudden . . . " His eyes darted nervously from side-to-side, avoiding her gaze. "You can't blame me for not believing you, right?"
Looking up at him, Sabine could see his confusion, his fear, his doubt clearly. He didn't know what to make of the situation, or how to interpret her words and feelings. He seemed so scared, so afraid that this was just another trick, Sabine couldn't help but feel for him; he'd been through so much already, it was only natural that he was hesitant. But she needed to make herself clear to him. Standing right in front of him, an idea came to her, a risky gamble, but maybe the only one way for Sabine to truly make her feelings known. Without thought, she put her hands on either side of Ezra's face and brought her lips up to meet his with a kiss.
Dully, distantly, Sabine was aware of Ezra tensing, his hands going to her shoulders as if to push her away, taking a hesitant half-step backwards as if to pull away himself. It all faded into the back of her mind, however, paling next to the thrill, the exhilaration that raced through her body at that moment. She'd studied his lips so carefully whenever he wasn't looking, spent so much time wondering how they would feel; she felt those lips now, pressed against her own, so warm, sparking sensations in her body she'd never felt before. She pulled her body tight against his, and she imagined she could feel his heartbeat, pounding just as wildly and frantically as her own was. She never wanted this moment to end, and yet, it almost felt like it was too much. She felt like she would . . .
Sabine suddenly found herself leaning against his chest, gulping air as if she'd run a kilometer in heavy armor. Her knees wobbled, and she was fairly confident that Ezra's hands under her arms were the only thing holding her up. She looked up with heavy-lidded eyes, and saw Ezra looking down at her, a stunned expression on his face and breathing nearly as hard.
"Sabine, I - " Ezra panted, but he got no further. Completing his step backward, his foot skidded out from under him, and suddenly he and Sabine were falling. Something smacked her in the forehead, hard enough to make her see spots, and she landed with a thud on top of him, feeling and hearing the air leave his body. Raising herself up groggily, Sabine saw Ezra nursing his chin with one hand.
"Are you all right, Ezra?" She asked anxiously, ignoring the dull ache in her forehead as she crawled up his body, taking his hand away and using her own to gently probe at his chin.
"I'm fine," he winced and started to sit up with a laugh. "I've had worse tumbles training with . . . "
He trailed off, and Sabine was suddenly very aware of their new situation: him, lying on the ground, with her straddling his waist, and both of their faces achingly close to one another. Sabine felt her cheeks grown hot, and a similar stain crept over Ezra's face. For a time that seemed to last both for a few heartbeats and several hours, the two stared into each other's eyes. Sabine could have stayed there forever, but there were still things she needed to say.
"Ezra, this . . . this isn't how I wanted to tell you, but I did want you to know how I feel, I - " This time, it was Ezra who cut her off, closing the distance and reuniting their lips.
The cave was soon filled with the moist sounds of their kissing, underlain with the soft keening of the wind past the opening. Sabine went slower this time, less forceful, giving herself and Ezra room to breath. She held herself back from all-out attacking him, and she felt the last of his hesitation fade away, moving his lips against hers. After a few moments, she felt his arms snake around her body, and she gladly melted into him. A delicious buzz spread from her lips throughout her whole body. Had she really been cold just a short while ago? Now she felt hot all over, almost unbearably so.
Breaking the kiss, Sabine sat up, placing her hands on his chest to push herself away. She stared down at him, the object of her affection for what felt like a long time. His clear blue eyes had a glassy, faraway look, as if he was lost in his own world. Sabine could relate; this felt like a dream, like she would wake up in her bed with none of this having happened. Her heart thundered, her chest rising and falling with the same urgency that his did, and she still felt so incredibly hot all over. She had to . . .
"Sabine?"
Ezra's tentative question brought her back to reality, and her hands froze in the act of taking off her breastplate. When she realized what she was doing, her cheeks heated a little more, but she couldn't stop, fully removing the beskar and peeling out of the suit underneath. The armor made sharp metallic pings! that echoed into the cave's depths as she dropped each item beside them, until she sat astride Ezra almost completely bare; only a thin bra and pair of panties still covered her.
"S - Sabine?" Ezra asked again. She noticed that he had to stop and gulp before continuing. "Why are you taking off your clothes? You're going to get cold, you know?"
"Well then," she said with a confidence she barely felt. She placed a hand on his chest and leaned down until their faces were practically touching. "You'll just have to warm me up, won't you, Ezra?"
She both saw and felt the realization, his eyes going wide and cheeks flushing a deep red, while his heartbeat fluttered under her palm. She kissed him again, her hands drifting down to the bottom of his shirt. Sensing no resistance, she pulled the garment up and over his head, briefly breaking their kiss to do so. The clothing went onto the cave floor, and the two of them shifted to lay on top of it, a barrier to the cold. When she curled her fingers around the waist of his pants, he stopped her, placing his hands over hers.
"Sabine," he panted. She was glad to see that he, too, was out of breath. "Sabine, are you . . . sure?"
For answer, Sabine gently pulled her hands down, dragging the fabric with them. Ezra didn't try to stop her this time, and the clothing came off. In only his underwear, she saw him shiver intensely, and she immediately brought the heating unit closer to them. in truth, it gave her some time to think: was she really going to do this? Now? Here? This wasn't at all how she had seen this playing out. And yet, her body wouldn't let her stop now, and the bulge that tented the front of him confirmed that he felt the same way. With fingers that only trembled a little bit, she reached up and tugged away the last vestige of his clothing.
Sabine was by no means naive or inexperienced - she could recall some very enjoyable nights from her time in the academy - but as Ezra's cock bounced free, rigidly pointing straight up, she couldn't stop the sound that came from her throat, somewhere halfway between a gasp and a moan. The shaft curved upward slightly, jutting up from dark, curly pubic hair, and pulsing slightly with an inaudible heartbeat. It wasn't the biggest Sabine had ever seen, but looking at it, all she could think was how perfect it looked. When Ezra hissed sharply, she blinked in confusion, only to realize that her hand had closed around him.
"Sorry!" Sabine's hand sprang away, although a part of her was reluctant; he felt so warm and firm, she just wanted to grab him again. Her hand twitched unconsciously, but Sabine reined herself in.
"N - no, it's all right," Ezra said, halfway sitting up. "It just . . . surprised me is all."
Sabine blinked, and then grinned. "So, this is all right?" she asked as she placed her hand back on his cock. Not content to simply hold it this time, she gently stroked up the shaft, letting her fingernails gently graze the top of the head before sliding back down.
Ezra gasped, head falling back and legs jerking and trembling. Actual speech seemed to have escaped him, but it seemed far from a complaint to Sabine. When she tightened her fist, pumping up and down more firmly without breaking her grip, his breath deepened and his eyes closed fully. The sight would have made Sabine giggle, but she couldn't help but stare at his cock sliding through her fingers. It was warm, almost burning hot against her skin, and she felt the throbbing echo in the most sensitive parts of her body. She bit her lip to stifle a moan, feeling a dampness and a heat of her own building between her legs. She wanted more, needed more. Without hesitation, she lowered herself and took Ezra's cock into her mouth.
Ezra made some kind of sound above her, maybe a grunt or a strangled cry, but Sabine wasn't paying attention anymore; the moment his cock touched her tongue, it was like a small explosion of heat and electricity inside of her. Her lips wrapped around him, the tangy, slightly salty taste having a heady effect. Eagerly, she sank further down on him, letting him fill her mouth, and when she was all the way down, brought herself all the way back up again. His cock made a soft pop noise as it sprang free, and she ran her tongue in quick circles around the glans before plunging back down. Her eyes were open, but she didn't see anything as she bobbed up and down on Ezra, bathing him with her tongue in tight, darting patterns. She was lost in her own world, unfocused on anything except the cock in her mouth, the growing warmth between her legs, and the satisfaction that spread across her body. Ezra seemed to be saying something, but she couldn't - .
Liquid heat suddenly poured into Sabine's mouth, jolting her out of her reverie and making her choke. She pulled back, sitting up on their makeshift bed of clothes and coughing wetly. Sticky, salty cum poured out of her mouth, and she saw more spurting out of Ezra's dick, each jet accompanied by a small spasm. It soon ran down into a slow dribble, the whole shaft drooping slightly, and Ezra lay back panting hard.
"Sor . . . I'm sorry, Sabine," Ezra huffed. "I tried . . . tried to warn you, but . . . "
Sabine's cheeks colored; she'd been so caught up in her own thoughts, her own desires, that she'd completely ignored Ezra. She doubted he'd ever done anything like this with anyone else, and she had just barreled through his first time. He didn't seem to be complaining about it, however, but still . . . He deserves better than that.
"Ezra," she said softly, and the young man flinched. He jumped again when she began moving, crawling up his body until she sat straddling his waist. Leaning on one hand, she used to other to twist behind her back and unfasten her bra, the fabric falling away and letting her breasts bounce free. She felt the sensitive skin pebble instantly in the cold, her nipples becoming hard nubs.
"Ezra," she continued. "Do you want to keep going? With me?"
Ezra's eyes tore away from her breasts, and after a moment, he nodded dumbly. Even without that nod, she could feel how eager he was; his cock, now stiff again, prodded against her stomach. As if he could sense her heat, Ezra's hips bucked slightly, trying and failing to connect with her, and she giggled slightly. She stilled his movements with one hand on his chest, she used the other to wrap around his cock and guide it to her entrance, pushing aside her underwear to do so. Just the tip touching her pussy made her shiver and moan.
"Are you ready, Ezra?" She was almost breathless with the effort not to plunge herself down on him completely. Again he nodded, speech seeming to abandon him. "I love you, Ezra."
"Sabine, I l - HAH!" The rest of his sentence cut off in a shuddering breath as Sabine lowered herself fully on him, taking all of him inside of her in one long, smooth stroke. Sabine herself let out a gasp of exhilaration, feeling his cock stretch and fill her. Had she really thought it was on the smaller side? Right now, it felt absolutely perfect, as if his cock had been made for her, and for long moments she could only sit and marvel at how he felt inside. But even that wasn't enough; her body cried out for more, and she had to listen.
She started to move, slow, deliberate strokes up and down his shaft. She wanted to go faster, to ride him with abandon and satisfy herself, but she made herself go slowly. More than anything, she wanted him to enjoy it, and that meant making it last as long as possible, giving him the full experience of being with her. Even so, she couldn't deny how incredible it felt; every thrust teased against her most sensitive areas deep inside of her, making her tremble as it pushed her higher and higher. She could feel that pressure building, the heat and the electricity surging through her limbs. It had never felt like this before, not once, and she let out a loud moan of ecstasy.
Ezra seemed to be similarly enjoying himself; every time she plunged back down on him, he let out a soft gasp. His eyes were unfocused, practically rolling back into his head whenever she wrapped around his cock. Giggling, Sabine took his hands and placed them on her breasts, and he immediately began fondling them. His soft tweaks and squeezes added their own little jolts of pleasure, and Sabine ground down on him in appreciation, biting her lip as she let it wash over her.
Sabine adjusted her position, leaning back and grabbing hold of Ezra's ankles as she started to ride him faster. His hands fell away from her chest to her small disappointment, but almost immediately circled around her waist, giving their own aid in her movement up and down on him. Sabine gasped, feeling sweat sliding down her body. Had she felt cold just moments ago? Through the haze of pleasure, all she could feel was the burning heat inside of her, growing by the second. Every thrust built it higher, surging heat that overwhelmed her other senses and threatened to sweep her away if she let it. It was almost unbearable, and yet, she never wanted it to end, greedily drinking in the sensations of each thrust, until she felt she would burst.
Ezra was starting breathe harder, she realized, more erratically, and she knew that he was close. His cock was twitching inside of her, and she could feel herself nearly there as well, almost within reach of her climax. She sped up, moving her hips faster until the sound of flesh striking flesh echoed in the cave alongside their ragged panting and groans. Her mind was going blank, and she moaned loudly in her need for release. Just a little more, she thought hazily. Just let me . . .
In one final thrust, she found her release. She came suddenly, her legs locking and back arching, a flood of electricity teasing every muscle in her body all at once. Her mouth was open, but she wasn't aware of any sound coming out. Distantly, she felt heat flooding her pussy, making her twitch even harder as it flowed through her. It seemed to go on forever, stabbing her with pleasure that drove out all thought, before slowly fading into a delicious buzz. Hazily, she looked down at Ezra, with his hair disheveled, sweat streaking his face, eyes glassy and unfocused, panting hard, and wondered if she looked that same. She fell forward, landing fully on top of Ezra in an exhausted heap. Despite how tired he must feel, she felt his arms go around her instantly, pulling her tighter against him, and she sighed happily. She could have stayed like this forever
He came inside of me, she thought drowsily. She pushed it away; it wasn't important.
Something drifted to her, both sound and feeling, and she realized he was mumbling something into her neck.
"What?" She pushed herself away on arms that wobbled, opening a small space between them. "What did you say?"
"I said," Ezra's eyes sparkled up at her, focused and clear. "That I love you, too, Sabine."
Smiling, Sabine lowered herself again and the two of them kissed.
Hera stared intently at the screen, stroking her chin as she considered the thermal signature. Looks like two people, plus a heating unit, she thought. Any bigger, and it would probably just be a wampa. The location was right too, just a short distance from where the distress signal was pinging from. Looks like I found them.
"Anything on the scopes, Hera?" Zeb asked from the copilot's chair.
"Nope. Nothing." Hera deftly switched the screen off, moving up to retake her seat. "Let's take a look on the other side of that ridge."
Suiting her own words, she turned the Ghost to move away from the crash site, away from the cliff and the thermal readings. Zeb immediately started muttering to himself, a barely audible string of expletives and derogatory remarks that Hera largely tuned out. The Twi'lek smiled to herself as the cliff fell away behind them. Sabine and Ezra would be all right for a couple of hours, and then she could pick them up.
A little alone time will do those two good, she thought. Maybe now she can tell Ezra how she feels about him.
