Day 101
Hawks had started to be around the league more and more. Now that the cat was out of the bag about Ali they seemed to be more open to him being around.
It was great for the mission but it was a blow in another way. Watching Ali and Dabi together was painful.
A tub of Strawberry Ice Cream, with one spoon for the two of them… it was similar to something they had done when they were together. When they were getting close.
They then Hawks started to notice just how close their close was. The look in Ali's eyes when she would side eye Dabi.
Ali would wear Dabi's jacket around the common areas. And that spoke volumes in of itself.
But it brough deja vu from the times she'd wear his hero jacket around their apartment.
He wondered if she also got deja vu.
Laughing about how small it made her look.
And now she was swimming in Dabi's trench coat snuggled next to him on the coach.
Day 102
Watching old Disney movies. Being 'annoying' while she sang in harmony. Of course Jin and Toga would join in.
And while Dabi would make a face. Hawks could see the physical relaxation that Ali had on him. Playing the part that he did, Hawks would also join in with the music.
When their eyes locked he couldn't help but wonder if she remembered.
Remembered when it was just them singing along.
When was she going to tell Dabi that she wasn't much different with him. That he wasn't the first. That she did these things with him.
Day 104
Does he call her when he is away? He would try when he was doing hero work. Does he share about his family? Because let's be honest, they were kinda the same. Both raised in shitty situations.
Hawks didn't like to think that he was just her type but he just let her get away.
He bet Dabi knows all her favorite songs now. That she has shared them all.
He wondered if they tell one another that they love each other.
Does she get deja vu? Why does she pretend that they didn't do it first.
