The couple woke excited and nervous this morning. They were heading on their first trip together without the kids. It was huge for both of them. Neither had been without their kids for a long period of time. 36 hours was the longest time apart. And even they were in the same state, same city. This was a lot fir them but they were excited for this time alone. They truly didn't get it often so this was a bonus for them. "Babe you ready to head out?" Kim wanted to get to the airport early. I mean maybe to the parents but to ask to go to the doctor to ask for testing trying to figure it out. No that's not reality unless you are truly sick. Now I know. And I get tested once a year to see if it changed. You can grow out of childhood allergies but not ones you get as an adult. There's hope I guess." Kim shrugged thinking about it. "There is always hope darling. But honestly I don't see your allergies as an issue. Well at least the food ones. They are easy to work around. It's a non issue." He replied seeing her deep in thought. "Good to know you don't miss those things." Kim smiled. "Of course. I can always eat them when I'm out, away from you so it doesn't bother you. I'm fine with it." He assured her knowing it bothered her.
They ordered dinner exchanging stories of the past. But only the good ones. They wanted to keep it lite and fun. After they ate they heading across the street to walk by the sound.
