Unlike the story 'Find Me' where Marinette gets assaulted, in this story, that won't happen to Marinette. This story is meant to be my healing journey in bullying and gaslighting from a narc. Happy reading, everyone.
Previously on Destruction...
Once several calls were made to the Paris police, Adrien heard sirens in the distance. She was going to be saved. He was sure of it.

Lila had narrowed her eyes when she saw the attention that she had worked so hard on turned to Marinette. Suicide out in the public? If that bluenette was going to play dirty like her, then so be it. At this point, it was super easy to get underneath her skin. She didn't need to go to the girls' bathroom anymore. With her words and threats, she easily could knock that girl down. It was already clear to Lila that Marinette spent her time during her lunches to cry her eyes out. If only she had stayed quiet as she asked so nicely of Marinette to do. Then, this wouldn't have ever happened. In the first place, she could have helped Marinette gain Adrien's attention, but she had to claim that she was lying.
In her eyes, she found Marinette to be pathetic. She was just a goody-two-shoes who always called her out for her lies. As was Adrien, but he was easy to control unlike that brat Marinette. She'd say one thing to Adrien and didn't mean it at all and she was well aware that he saw right through her. It kind of was starting to piss her off. Why couldn't he see that she and he were perfect for each other? And that Kagami girl. She was just like Marinette.
But now that Marinette was gone, as far as she knew, Lila could easily kick that girl down. She smirked. This school she attended was one of many schools she attended. She attended six in Italy until her mother brought her here. At every school she attended, she always ran into the same thing. Someone who always called out her lies and each time, she managed to get them all to kill themselves. And if anyone pointed the finger at her, she was simply transferred to another school. Not even her own mother knew about what games she was playing. And now she was playing the villain. No one suspected her. Not even that pathetic Ladyblogger.
Lila smirked. She really did have everyone wrapped around her finger. No one had caught her yet. Now, she just needed to act the part.
The girl with sausage hair walked out with Alya who had both of her hands placed over her mouth in utter shock and horror. She set a comforting hand on the brunette's shoulder, "I'm so sorry, Alya. I didn't think Marinette would kill herself over bullying me. Maybe she felt guilty."
"I thought Marinette would have gotten better. She stopped harassing you, didn't she?" Alya asked as she turned her head towards the other girl.
Lila's comforting smile disappeared into a sad look, "She didn't. Marinette sent me a text this morning to kill myself."
"She what?!" Hearing that caused Alya to stomp over to Adrien who still was holding Marinette close to him. The sirens were drawing nearer and nearer. It seemed the blogger wanted to get some answers right away and didn't care that she was drawing attention to herself in doing so. "Are you aware of what Marinette said this morning?"
"If it's about Lila, I don't want to hear about it." the blond's voice grew cold. It was clear that he was tired of the liar's bullshit. Just a little bit of a while ago, he had gotten a text from an unknown number. Then realized it was Marinette.
"She told Lila to kill herself!"
"Why would she do that, Alya? Tell me."
"You know Marinette's been bullying Lila since she got back from the events of Hero's Day. She's been jealous of Lila all because she's your girlfriend. It's all over the fashion magazines."
"Lila is not my girlfriend. Do you have any idea how horrible it is to model with her? I don't think she understands the meaning of consent. She doesn't touch just me, Alya. Nino's been staying clear of your friend."
An ambulance, two police cars, and a fire truck pulled up to the school.
Officer Raincomprix ordered the students who were starting to stand around the fallen body of Marinette Dupain-Cheng to back up so that the paramedics could take her in. But of course, these students didn't listen to what he had to say. Looks like he had to use resistance and that was something he didn't really want to use. Especially against high school students of all people. So, in one more attempt, he gave out one last warning.
Some students complied, while others like Alya kept standing there like idiots.
"Please," the blond begged as the paramedics carried her off into the ambulance. "Let me come with her. She's my friend."
Of the two paramedics, they both looked at each other. "Fine, kid. Just don't get in our way."
He nodded happily and climbed into the back.

Since Lila Rossi left the country of Italy, two police officials of the EU had their eyes set on her. Every time she entered a school, they found a strange pattern. In the six schools that this girl had attended, there had been six suicides. A case had been opened up on this Lila Rossi when the third suicide occurred. And they were going to try and catch her, but each time, she slipped out like a slippery eel.
Fae Blackmire was an investigator who was well known across the EU. Her partner, James Crow was a growing detective who was starting to make a name for himself. With him by her side, they became an unstoppable team. They solved cases left and right at an alarming pace.
Anyways, Crow had traced Ms. Rossi at last since she last left Italy. He knew that Blackmire was anticipating where the both of them would head next. After all, everyone knew about her story. Investigator Blackmire wanted justice for her daughter. There was a lot that she regretted. Like not spending enough time with her daughter. Or seeing the signs that she was starting to get depressed.
Fae Blackmire wasn't one who looked for vengeance. She was a part of the EU's FBI. She wasn't going to let herself get that low. The investigator sympathized with the other families. She promised each and every one of them that she'd bring them all justice. And even if she never had a daughter, she found that she'd still want to help out no matter what.
The name of Blackmire's daughter was Nebula. She was a thirteen-year-old girl when she had met Lila Rossi and she died at the age of thirteen. Her daughter used to be so confident and so soft-spoken that she simply befriended everyone she met. But in about a month's time, she became depressed and closed herself away.
And in that month, Fae found her daughter unresponsive in her bedroom with a bottle of pills lying by her side and a folded suicide note. She had called the paramedics almost immediately. She prayed that Nebula would live, but it was too late for her. She had died a few moments after her own mother found her. Her daughter was the second person to commit suicide because of Lila Rossi. And the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth?
She clenched her fists and hit the wall of their shared office. There were so many ifs that ran through her mind. With the seventh, she wasn't going to let Lila Rossi get out. Why? Because Rossi's seventh victim had somehow survived her fall. What a miracle.
"I'm coming for you, Rossi. You better be prepared. I won't let you off so easily."

The following video was deleted about a minute after it was posted on Ladyblog. The contents of this video are quite disturbing. No one knows who posted it on the video. Not even the owner, Alya Cesaire, knows who put it on there. The contents of this video are under investigation.
The footage of this video doesn't exactly have good quality. It's clear the person recording this is breathing heavily. The person holding the recording device appears to be shaking as well. It's hard to identify whether or not the whispering is male or female. "You want to topple one of the heroes of Paris? But what about Chat Noir?"
"Who cares? No one's going to see us." This female voice obviously belongs to someone that the students who attend Collège Françoise Dupont know. The voice is female. So, that cuts it down just a tad, "I just want Ladybug to know that there's nothing special about her."
"She purifies the akumas. I don't see how she's the bad guy here."
"Have you forgotten what I told you? She has humiliated me multiple times. As if an apology will get her out of those hurtful moments. Not everyone loves her. I hate her. I want to see her rot. Do you get what I mean?"
"I guess, but I'm afraid of getting caught. I know I owe you one, Lila, but I can't bring myself to do something as horrible as what you're planning." the person recording directs the camera towards the superheroine who sits on the edge of a rooftop alone. No sight of Chat Noir insight.
"You know it sickens me when I have to repeat myself. I mean you could back out of it, but I have connections unlike you. If I get caught, you're coming down with me. Remember what I have on you? Those nudes you sent to me when I was thirteen? Sure it was an accident. You could say plea all you want. Beg me to stop even. Let me hear you beg me to stop."
The camera shakes violently. The view of Ladybug appears to get closer and closer. The phone is dropped and it stares up at the sky. A pair of big hands that wear black gloves shoves Ladybug off the roof.
Ladybug's startled cry echoes out.
The footage ends here.
