Chapter 88
Mischief
Cameron drove the three girls back towards the Resistance base. She was very pleased at how events shaped up. Everything went according to her plan. The time spent at the mall, and miniature golf course, was a good time for all of them.
She needed to make an unscheduled stop. She spotted a group of taggers when she went past an alley. It was a location where she experienced trouble previously with drug dealers. She was able to harvest the cash, destroy the drugs, and terminate the drug dealers. She was able to free a few females from involuntary servitude as 'escorts'.
The three girls looked around when she stopped.
"This isn't the base." Allison said.
Cameron made sure there were weapons close by for all of them if they would need them. She didn't believe they would.
"I need to take care of something real quick. Wait here and don't get out of the SUV." Cameron said. "I'll be back."
The three girls were all a little tipsy, but they weren't going to do anything to upset Cameron. They were more than content to wait in the SUV for her to return.
Vanna looked at Jesse and Allison.
"What do you think she's doing?" Vanna asked.
Allison shrugged her shoulders.
"Maybe it's a surprise." Allison said.
Jesse was in the passenger's seat.
"I think she already has a surprise for us." Jesse said. "I saw her put some bags in the back."
Allison turned around to look.
Vanna stopped her.
"Don't mess it up." Vanna said. "If Cameron's doing something, she wants to be very specific about it."
The three girls all talked among themselves as they waited for Cameron to return.
Moments ago:
Cameron walked away from the SUV. She paused for a moment to make sure the girls would remain inside. It seemed as if they would.
She quickly approached the alley. She looked around the corner and saw there were three taggers. She boldly stepped into the alley.
"I'll ask you nicely once to leave." Cameron said. "I recommend you stop doing what you're doing elsewhere as well."
The three taggers looked up in surprise. There was a dim street light on a power pole near the corner. They could barely make out the person who just spoke to them. It took them a moment to realize it was a female. Not only was it a female, it was a Hot female. She was very provocatively dressed.
"It looks like our night just got better." The first tagger said.
Cameron could tell there was going to need to be additional 'corrective action'. It was often the case.
"It's about to get a lot worse if you don't comply." Cameron said.
The three taggers laughed. They started to walk towards her. They all paused when they realized she walked towards them. They expected her to run.
Cameron saw one of the taggers produce a knife. She walked straight towards him and pulled it out of his hand. She needed to do much the same thing earlier in the evening when they were in the department store. She shoved the tagger to the ground hard. She moved her hands out to the sides. She slammed the other two against opposite walls in the alley with a sweeping motion.
All three taggers were down. She quickly lined them up in a row in the center of the alley. She placed the spray cans they were using on either side of the tagger who pulled the knife. They were lined up three in a row between the taggers. She backed up near the entrance of the alley, and drew her Glock. She bent down to keep her trajectory as flat as possible and fired two times. The six spray cans ruptured and showered the taggers with their own paint. She didn't have time to wait around to for them regain consciousness.
She caught the two fired shell casings in the air. She headed back to the SUV.
The girls were all holding handguns as she got back inside.
"We heard gunfire." Jesse said.
Cameron looked at the three girls and smiled.
"Everything is fine." Cameron said.
Cameron touched each of the girls. She scanned them. She started the SUV and drove towards the base.
The girls looked at each other, and then put their weapons away.
Cameron made one more stop on the way back to the base. She bought some more alcohol for them. It wasn't part of her original plan, but the delay at the alley might change things a little. She carefully selected what drink she wanted for each of them to have. She knew what they 'needed'. The specific alcohol content was necessary for her plan to work.
John, Derek and John Henry were out on a 'scouting mission' at Cameron's 'suggestion' to John Henry. They wouldn't return until tomorrow. She didn't want any disturbances to her plans.
Cameron went over what she was doing, what was about to happen, and what the results were going to be. It was all long range planning on her part. She was displeased with Vanna's and Allison's reluctance to carry out her wishes for John. She wanted the future protected, as much as she wanted John protected. They were her unchangeable 'directives' from Future John. They needed to override her personal objectives, emotions and feelings.
Cameron arrived at the base. The three girls were obviously intoxicated. It was her goal. She wanted their inhibitions suppressed. It seemed to be the case.
Jesse needed to be supported by Allison and Vanna as they made their way inside.
The last song they listened to on the radio in the SUV was, 'What I Like About You' by 'The Romantics'.
Cameron heard them 'whisper' in each other's ears and giggling. She smiled to herself. It was just like the lyrics in the song. Now it was for real for the three of them. She tried to make herself look as sexually appealing to the girls as possible. It was to increase their desire for one another.
The three girls all looked at Cameron, and then at each other, and whispered some more.
Jesse felt very 'hungry', and very bold right now.
"Cameron, would you like to 'join us'?" Jesse asked.
Cameron was a little surprised at the wording. She quickly realized it was unrelated to anything else. She smiled. She could tell the girls were close to sharing. She heard them discuss it. Vanna made the suggestion.
"No. You three have some fun 'together'." Cameron said.
Jesse almost fell over, but Vanna and Allison were able to keep her from falling. They didn't look to be in much better condition themselves at this point. Maybe all three of them would topple over.
Cameron quickly ushered them to Vanna and Allison's room. It was important they made it into a room. They needed to start the first part of the plan on their own.
There was another round of whispering and giggling amongst them.
The three of them disappeared into the room.
Cameron smiled. She was happy they were happy. She hoped things would progress from there. If her calculations were correct, the stage was set. She would check back on them later.
She put her things away from shopping at the mall. She returned to the SUV to get the things for the three girls. She was able to purchase some things for them they didn't see. It didn't appear they touched them either in her brief absence in the alley.
Cameron thought enough time had passed to get things started in the room. She returned and stopped outside of Vanna and Allison's room and listened.
All she heard was silence, and three people sleeping. Cameron only left them a few minutes ago. She smiled. Her calculations were right on schedule. She left the packages outside the door for the girls. She soundless entered the room. She liked what she saw. The stage was set.
The next morning:
Jesse opened her eyes. Her head hurt. She looked to her right and 'Cameron' was lying next to her asleep. She looked to her left and Vanna was there. She looked back to the other side quickly. It was a mistake. She should have turned her head a little slower. It must be Allison not Cameron, she corrected herself. Allison still looked a lot like 'Cameron' from last night.
She briefly wondered if she was dreaming. She wasn't.
Jesse stared at the ceiling as she tried to remember what happened. She remembered where they went, and what they did. It got really foggy after the last round of drinks. She touched her body and felt she was nude. How was anyone going to explain this she wondered? She tried hard to remember what happened after they went into the room. The last thing she remembered was Vanna and Allison supporting her and then everyone started to undress each other. To see their naked bodies up close excited her, especially seeing Camer... Allison. She remembered she was highly aroused in anticipation of what was to come. She reflected on what she was going to do to Allison first.
Allison opened her eyes. Her head snapped quickly to the left. It was a mistake. It sent a 'sledgehammer' through her mind. She blinked twice and when she opened her eyes again, Jesse was STILL looking into them. It was clear they were in bed together.
"Hello, love." Jesse whispered.
Allison quickly lifted the covers and saw both her and Jesse were naked.
She tried to remember how and when they got there. She swallowed hard as she answered Jesse. She wondered how she was going to explain it to Vanna.
"Hi, Jesse." Allison whispered.
She looked beyond Jesse. She was somewhat relieved to see Vanna was there too. She noticed the covers slipped when she moved them and she could see most of Vanna's bare breasts. The sight made her feel less uneasy. It at least looked like the three of them may have all done the same things. She didn't think there would be any finger pointing or angry words.
Vanna opened her eyes and sat up. The covers completely slipped off of her, as her nude form rose above the other two. She could see Jesse and Allison were both naked as well.
She looked down at herself and then at Jesse and Allison. None of them hid their nudity.
"Does anyone care to explain this?" Vanna asked.
Allison wondered the same thing herself. The answer seemed self explanatory. The evidence was right there in the bed. It was the three of them naked.
"NO, but I know what it looks like." Allison said.
Jesse really wished she could remember. If it was what it looked like, she wanted the memory. There was nothing there. It was extremely disappointing.
"I really don't remember a thing." Jesse said. "My head hurts."
Vanna was worried about the implications. It was something she remembered she wanted last night. She looked forward to it with anticipation. She started to get out of bed. She noticed Jesse look at her scar. She didn't try to cover it.
Jesse knew what it was like to have a 'flaw' on a perfect body.
"Vanna, may I?" Jesse asked.
Vanna nodded.
Jesse reached over and touched her scar tenderly.
Vanna sat back down.
Jesse was reminded of the past, the future.
"Was it Scavengers?" Jesse asked.
The emptiness in Vanna's eyes 'spoke' before she did.
"Yes." Vanna said.
Jesse knew what it was like to be in the hands of Scavengers.
"I'm sorry…." Jesse said with sadness upon her face.
She uncovered herself and moved so Vanna could examine her scar.
Vanna touched Jesse's scar gently. She remembered Jesse blamed it on Terminators before.
"Was it a Terminator attack?" Vanna asked.
Jesse felt very connected right now. She felt the girls were more than her friends, especially based on the current situation. It appeared they opened a new chapter in their lives. It seemed they all were good with it, even if they were a little uneasy about not remembering what actually happened.
"No." Jesse told the truth. "It was Scavengers. A female Scavenger did this to me. She did it because she said I was too pretty. She was going to do it to my face, but some of the men who were abusing me at the time stopped her. They didn't want it to ruin their pleasure…."
Allison remembered her run-in with Scavengers. Mrs. Weaver saved her. She knew how brutal they could be. They told her what they were going to do to her. They even showed her some 'examples' from their previous victims. It was still something for her to think about the way Mrs. Weaver acted in her white dress and high heels. There wasn't even any blood on her when she was done. She needed to refocus.
"I'm sorry, Jesse." Allison said.
Vanna softly touched Jesse's face. They shared an unspoken moment of understanding. They both knew what it was like. They'd both endured the same things. They both knew of the things they needed to do to survive. If they didn't do everything immediately when told, they would have been 'punished' and killed.
"I still carry mine, even though I could have 'cosmetic surgery' in the past, the present. They would be able to correct most of it, hide it and remove it." Vanna said.
Jesse hadn't been in the past long enough to think about any cosmetic procedures. It sounded like a good idea to her.
"Why?" Jesse asked. "Why wouldn't you do it?"
Vanna looked at Allison.
"It reminds me of who I am, where I've been, and my sacrifices." Vanna said. "The day I took this mark, I saved a girl from certain torture and death. The day I took this mark, I cheated death twice. Because of this mark, I was given another chance to live years later. This mark defines me."
Allison looked at Vanna with tears in her eyes and in her heart and she recalled the events. She was a part of all of them.
Vanna and Allison explained the story to Jesse. They all shed tears of understanding. It was a beautiful story in all of its misery and horror.
Jesse felt such compassion for Vanna and Allison after learning 'their story'.
They all wondered what happened as they looked at each other.
"So, did we…?"
"I don't know."
"It sure looks like it…."
"I don't remember much."
"I think we undressed each other."
"I do remember when we started."
"I liked everything I saw."
"I still do…."
Cameron listened from outside. She was happy the women bonded. They shared a true bond now. A bond of pain, suffering, understanding, and of caring.
Cameron knocked at the door.
No one inside said anything.
Cameron smiled. She knew the girls were a little uneasy.
"It's me, Cameron. I have your things for all three of you."
"She knows."
"I wish I did."
"I wish I did too."
"Come in."
Cameron set the packages down and started to walk out.
"Cameron…."
Cameron stopped.
"Yes?" Cameron asked.
She already knew what the question was going to be.
"Do you know what happened here last night?"
Cameron kept a straight face.
"Yes." Cameron said.
"Did we…?"
Cameron wanted to give them something to think about and some freedom of choice. Nothing sexual actually occurred yet. It would be up to them what happened going forward.
"Why not leave it at whatever you wanted to happen, happened, or didn't happen." Cameron said. "It seems like a win-win."
Cameron selected a song to play on Allison player. 'Angel Of The Morning' by 'Juice Newton', started when Cameron pushed 'play'.
Cameron walked out the door and closed it behind her. It took a lot of effort not to laugh on her part. She believed she set the stage. It was up to the girls to act.
The three women looked at each other as the song played. It seemed to sum up the nature of what they all thought happened. It was actually quite beautiful.
"I guess we did…."
"It must have been a wild night."
"Who wants to use the shower first?"
"Why don't we save water and use it together?"
"It will be crowded."
"It's even better."
The three women laughed and headed off together. This now was the true moment of sharing for the three of them. They were sober, happy, and playful. Everyone liked who they were with, as much as they liked what they saw. There was love in the air.
Cameron would be back after the shower ended to make sure they got dressed and not do 'anything else'. She would let them decide 'that' on their own. She would tell them later what really happened…. It was actually nothing.
Right now the girls all believed 'something' happened.
Last night:
When Cameron entered the room, the women were mostly nude. Allison was on the floor, Vanna was on the bed, and Jesse was sprawled sideways across the bed and Vanna.
They all passed out before their clothes were all the way off. As Cameron finished undressing them, she did take in each girl's natural beauty and all the details. She really liked what she saw on Jesse, and especially Vanna. They were both totally different from Allison, and her, in detail, especially in pigmentation. Vanna and Jesse were at opposite ends of the scale. Everything on Vanna was all the same. There were no pigmentation changes whatsoever.
Cameron carefully placed their nude figures in the bed and covered them. Nothing sexual actually happened. She stayed nearby to make sure of it throughout the night. She wanted to prompt them. She thought they should actually make the choice on their own.
When she heard them awake, wonder what happened, and then bond further over the pains from their future, she gave it a few minutes then came in with the packages.
After the shower they dressed in their new clothes.
Jesse returned to her room.
There was a soft knock at the door.
"Jesse?" Cameron asked.
Jesse looked at the door, it wasn't closed tight. She saw who it was.
"Come in, Cameron." Jesse said.
Cameron entered.
Jesse felt she needed to try to explain herself.
"I'm sorry, about last ni…." Jesse started.
Cameron quickly interrupted her.
"Don't apologize for 'sharing' with your friends." Cameron said. "You don't need to answer to anyone but yourself."
Jesse liked Cameron's attitude.
"Thanks, Cameron." Jesse said. "I really don't remember much."
Cameron wanted to give Jesse a surprise.
"Jesse, I got something for you at the store last night." Cameron said.
Jesse felt a rush of excitement. She was filled with anticipation.
"What is it, love?" Jesse asked.
Cameron pulled a purple coat like hers out of the bag and handed it to her.
Jesse's eyes widened and her mouth fell open slightly. She wasn't used to getting gifts. She understood the personal nature of what Cameron handed her.
"You got this for me?" Jesse asked.
Cameron smiled.
"Yes, you're one of us now. I care about you. You're my friend." Cameron said. "I look after my friends. I like them to be happy."
Jesse took the coat and held it. She grabbed Cameron and held her tight. She started to cry. She cried like she hadn't cried in years. Cameron and the girls stirred, and revived, feelings and emotions inside of her she really thought were dead. No, they weren't just dead. They were feelings others went out of their way to kill inside her.
Cameron helped her to the bed.
"Thank you, Cameron." Jesse said. "Everything you've done means so much to me."
Jesse felt love like she never experienced before.
Cameron touched her on the cheek, smiled and walked away. She looked back as the door shut and winked once at Jesse.
The door closed.
Cameron was truly happy. She'd united the women. This would be good for John. Now they wouldn't need to compete, but share. One of them would 'replace' her. She felt content and smiled. John would be provided for with beauty.
Cameron started her temporal calculations again….
Her past, the future, called to her.
Closing monologue by Cameron:
We Can Change The Rules
When those around us
Treat us like fools
We can strike back
We can change the rules
The present time is full
Of choices we may hate
Our future is fluid
Not restricted to fate
In the confines of living
Many rules hold us back
We can change the rules
To thwart life's attack
Who is the master
Who is the slave
To change what is fallacious
Isn't cowardly but brave
We can change the rules
For we have the ability
To control our destiny
We can make our own tranquility
Nobody
