Zachary Comstock is slowly dying it would seem. The metastasis from the Lutece Machine has aged him so quickly. First the problem was the machine making Comstock sterile and not having the ability to pass down his genes to the next generation. But now the Prophet is dying, slowly mind you. Why is it that this Comstock is decaying and withering away, while the "Comstock" from another world is fit and in good health? If genetics are fate and destiny, what accounts for that? Is it perhaps the exposure to the Lutece Machine? Hmm. It merits much further questioning and study I think.
